Your eyes flutter open as you feel kisses pressed against your bare shoulders. You hum into the pillow, you’re laying stomach down so you turn your face to catch a glimpse of your lover in the early morning light. He’s above you, resting on his elbows. He meets your gaze with a sweet, innocent smile.

“Good morning, darling.” He never fails to be cheery, and this morning is no different. You turn over, reaching your arms up to pull him into your chest.

“Good morning.” You say through a yawn, and you can feel his smile grow against your skin where his head is buried. He settles to drape himself over your body, holding his weight up with an elbow. He nips at your skin and you giggle sleepily at his ministrations.

“What’re you doing?” You ask, and he gives a low laugh.

“Trying to wake you up nicely.”

“This is nice.”

“This isn’t waking up.” He whines.

“Can’t we spend a few more minutes here?” Your hands trail down his body, suggesting something other than sleep. He perks up, watching as the sleepy smile on your face evolves into a suggestive grin, and he scrambles to prop himself up over you.

“I guess we can spare some time.”

Later, when the two of you are bathed and fed and satiated in more ways than one, he enters the kitchen where you are armed with a picnic basket.

“Darling?”

“Hm?”

“Would you be an angel and pack this for me?” His smile is sweet, and he’s propped up on the counter with his elbows, his hands holding his head.

“Planning something tonight?”

“I suppose so.” He stands up straight again, coming up to stand behind you as you pack the basket. His arms come up to wrap around your midsection, his hands resting on your stomach. He pulls your flush against him, your back against his chest, and starts rubbing at the soft skin over your tummy. It’s no secret that he loves the extra skin where your stomach is, laying his head on it and pressing kisses over the area whenever he gets the chance, and today is very obviously no different.

“Tristan, sweetheart, if you don’t quit with your hands I’m afraid this basket will never get packed.” He laughs as he kisses the exposed skin on your shoulder.

“Alright, alright. I’ll leave you be, but we’re leaving soon.”

“Leaving soon? Where are we going?” He turns you around, hands resting on your waist.

“You’ll see.” He walks away after pressing a chaste kiss to your lips. You shake your head, a grin adorning your features, and continue packing.

When you finish, you walk outside to the front yard of your home where Tristan sat waiting for you. He takes the basket in one hand and your hand in the other, guiding you to your destination. You joke with him along the way, your laughs filling the otherwise quiet nature around you.

He announces that you two have arrived, and he tells you to stay before he scurries off, taking the basket and depositing it somewhere before coming back for you.

“Close your eyes.” He says, excitement evident in his voice.

“What if I fall?”

“I wouldn’t let that happen.” You two manage to get halfway up the small hill before Tristan decides to just pick you up, holding you tight in his arms as he makes sure you keep your eyes shut tight.

“You didn’t have to do all of this.” You say.

“Where’s the fun in that? Besides, we’re here.” He puts you down gently and shuffles you over to what seems like a blanket, and finally tells you to open your eyes.

Blinking a few times to adjust to seeing again, your eyes quickly tear up as you see what Tristan’s done. Beautifully grown and pruned flowers circle the area as the candlelight casts a romantic hue as the sun sets. The blanket was set with what you had packed, two glasses of wine poured out for the two of you. He watches your reaction as your hands come up to wipe away at your eyes quickly, and he swoops you into a hug.

“Is it too much, my love? I can take some of it down.”

“It’s perfect. I love it. I’m just surprised you’d go through all of this effort for a picnic.”

“It was worth it for you, I’d do anything for you. Surely you know that by now. I love you!” He says, his lips against your forehead. You squeeze him tight in an embrace, letting him pull you to the blanket to sit when you release him. He hands you your wine glass, shyly feeding you snacks as you laugh and blush.

Towards the end of the night, when the bottle of wine was empty and so was most of the basket, you lay with Tristan beneath the stars, your hand and head on his chest. His coat is draped over you, and he’s talking about how the townspeople helped him make this area special for you, his chest moving up and down as he laughs and talks and all you can think about is how you’re falling more and more in love with the man before you.

“What are you thinking about?” He asks, doe eyes staring into yours.

“Would you spend forever with me?” His breath hitches, and you immediately cringe at his reaction, sputtering out words to retract your question.

“Hey, hey, of course I would! I would spend every waking moment with you if I could, forever with you is no question in my mind.”

You smile at him, moving up to press a kiss to his jaw.

“Forever with you is no question in my mind either.”

Well, as the title suggests, I am turning 22 on January 30th (yes I can't believe it either), and it's a very very special number to me, I was obsessed with it since I was a kid—because of Taylor Swift's 22 of course (you have no idea how happy my inner child is now!).

However, I thought I should celebrate this very important event with you by hosting my second sleepover! (honestly I was planning to make this a double sleepover if I hit 300 followers before my birthday, but since I didn't, I really had to host a sleepover)

As usual, my sleepover will host games, questions, asks, and definitely, requests!!! <3

The sleepover will be a week long, from January 30th till February 6th, where you can submit asks and requests!

Note on prohibited things that I won't be doing or answering:

No nsfw/dirty asks, writing requests or questions, it's uncomfortable for me sometimes, and this is an all-ages-friendly celebration. No further elaboration, please respect this. <3

Rate My Music Taste: give me a song/artist and I will rate it from 1 (absolute flop) to 10 (total banger)! — (this is absolutely done just for fun).

I Wanna Write You A Song: start with a phrase and we will make a totally original song together in the reblogs!

When Tristan Thorn had finally asked you out, you were thrilled. You had your eyes on the shopkeeper for a while, going there whether you needed supplies or not. You were ashamed to say that your kitchen was filled with unused potatoes but you couldn’t help it when he gazed at you with such soft, gullible eyes. You were also glad to see that he was finally over that manipulative wench Victoria.

But of course due to your excitement you forgot one very important thing to bring to your date.

A coat.

You smiled and nodded constantly as Tristan went on and on about something that had happened earlier today. And even though you loved listening to him– Man, you were cold. Hugging yourself in a desperate matter, you tried hard not to let him see the miserable state you were in. You didn’t want your first date with him to be ruined. While you were deep in thought, you felt something warm being draped over your shoulders. Eyes widening, you stared up to Tristan, who was smiling sheepishly as he scratched the back of his head, his upper body now coat-less.

"Take my coat, I don't want you catching a cold."

You blinked a couple of times before you truly understood what he had done, he gave you his jacket. A small smile tugged at the corner of your lips, stopping in your tracks, you watched as he gazed at you with utter confusion in his face. You took a step closer to him, hugging the jacket as you grinned at him.

“This isn’t the only way to warm up,”

Before he could answer, you closed the distance and placed a quick, soft kiss. After pulling away, you continued to walk without saying a word. You heard Tristan calling out to you while he trailed behind.

“Are you sure I can’t warm you up some more?”

I might take it easy for the rest of the year, which means I’ll focus on responding to requests. Tristan Thorn mini-series will be taking the backseat along with Lingered Affection and Yes To Heaven, until 2023.

I have to do this to preserve myself, my creativity and my mental health. I haven’t enjoyed writing in a while, and it’s time for me to recognize the problem and take a step back. Chill the fuck out Cello.

Moreover, I’ve been accepted for the lead position in a project, plus my two jobs, so I will have even less time to write 🥲 but that’s okay because a little break in between could be good for me creatively.

Anyway, the next request I’m working on will be professor’s Matt x F!Reader! It’s going to be fluffy as hell, there will mutual pining, and nothing too wildly inappropriate.
