Siren snorted. “No. I’m just here to order some food.”

“Wh-What about him?” The cashier asked, glancing at Tommy. “Did you- did you kidnap him?”

“I mean… yeah, let’s go with that in case this ends up on the news,” Siren shrugged, looking back at Tommy. “I kidnapped you, right?”

“Yeah, sure,” Tommy agreed, knowing that if they said he was kidnapped, it would keep people from getting suspicious of why he was seen in public with Siren. “Anyway, can I get the chicken nuggets happy meal, with a coke?”

or, how Tommy—who is not a hero, or a villain, or even a vigilante—saves the life of one of L'Manberg's most feared supervillains, and accidentally ends up becoming the resident doctor for every supervillain in town (and maybe gets a family along the way too).

thoughts - this was so good. so well written, the character interactions were bEAUTIFUL. i don’t know what to do with myself after reading this fic. i will never recover /pos. seriously though, highly recommend this fic, especially if you like superhero AUs. the author spins tommy in a way that’s much different than i’ve ever seen him written before (/pos), and he’s got a lot of depth. he’s not just a little ball of chaos. he also doesn’t have super OP abilities, which is really cool to see. overall just an amazing fic /gen

Techno, a human ex-soldier that was abducted by aliens 18 months ago, is biding his time in captivity. This changes when two young aliens are sent into his cell to die.

- Phil: a fucking piece of shit (regret settling in too late) i would punt him if given the chance

- Techno: dude just went out of sight out of mind with his brother (not outrageous as wil or phil but the issue is mans didn’t do shit, didn’t care or at least didn’t act like he cared)

- Sam: didn’t know much was just a teacher doin’ his job

- Schlatt: cool dad, good dad schlatt heals the soul tbh, good man, (would give him a sunflower)

magic school au, tubbo centric, dad sparklez, everyone loves tubbo - very fun and chill, sone conflict but happy ending :)

clingyduo centric, dragon tommy, magic tubbo, oneshot - short and sweet, seemed pretty in character

reincarnation au with beeduo, clingyduo and crimeboys, tubbo centric, oneshot - makes me want to write this au it's so gOOD, author if you see this ily pls write more of it (edit: HOLY SHIT okay so turns out this is super popular now and no longer a oneshot (which i thought it was at the time sadjfvg) so i guess this aged well? the author sure did write more LMAO but yeah i read the rest of the fic and it just gets better and better, amazing quirkyduo characterisation stood out to me)

feral boys + fundy + wilbur, chatfic, romantic ig but plenty of friendships too - so many ships, lots of fun :D (edit: mainly romance stuff so probs not for most of my mutuals, iirc it's actually been massively edited since i last read it so idk how well it aged slkajcdfg)

clingyduo, oneshot - technically i don't agree with how some characters are portrayed, but it's still very sweet and a good read :) (edit: ah shit author sorry i was mean! it seems it was just in the tubbo-centric tag so i analysed it as a tubbling! reread it and it's a lovely little fic :D. are you an inniter btw)

karlnapity, quackity-centric, high school au - this was so goood!!! great build up and i loved it

tubbo-centric, spiderman au, 5+1 - hfkshend tubbo as the guy in the chair has never been better than in this fic, huge recommend to fellow tubbo enjoyers (also it's a series, with other works featuring other people in sbi!) (edit: I REMEMBER THIS FIC SO SO OFTEN IT'S SO GOOD LITERALLY ONE OF THE BEST SUPERHERO AU TUBBOS and also the other characters are done pretty fucking well)

superpowers au, villain tubbo, hero sbi and ranboo, dadschlatt (but not in a /pos way) - yea okay this wasn't too bad i quite liked it, made me feel things. heavy on the beeduo more than other sbi+tubbo relationships but it's done in a balanced way i'd say. hug propaganda /pos (edit: this feels like an unjust finish bc imo i don't really love this as much as i must have when i put it on this list, so i'll give you guys one extra!)

genuninely fucking ADORE this fic, it's a l'manburg members-centric young justice (superhero) au but semi chatfic style. i don't... think it's centric on any specific member tho which is pretty unique i love it a lot!

It was a much closer call than Tommy would have preferred. In his haste of escaping a group of thugs, he almost missed out on talking to a pretty woman. Granted, Tubbo was gonna be pissed when he got home. Such is the life of a heroically handsome vigilante.

A fic in which Tommy manages to annoy the hell out of Phil, Techno, and Wilbur by being impossible to catch, annoyingly loud, and irritatingly endearing.

They were a little team, the four of them. Two powered, two not; communication messy, loyalties strong. They were close friends, and Tommy could safely say that two years into the whole vigilante-hero-grey-area-it’s-complicated business, he was enjoying himself.

Sometimes it sucked. Sometimes they failed to stop something in time, to react quick enough. People still got hurt, crime still happened. He knew, of course, he was signing himself up for torture and death by offering that trade, but that was okay.

And keeping his two identities separate can't be that difficult, really. It'll all be a piece of cake.

Ranboo was tired. He was only seventeen and yet he already had a full time job. But the job was minimum wage and he could hardly help with rent. A job working with the biggest heroes wasn't exactly ideal when one of your roommates was a vigilante and the other was a sorta-villain. But if it was to pay rent, if it was to make sure neither of his friends went hungry or cold ever again, it would be worth it.

Look, it wasn't Tubbo's fault his dad went from vigilante to supervillain, and he did not appreciate that everyone assumed that he was the same. Not that he helped his own image, considering he just blew up a warehouse last week, but they had been carting drugs! Illegal substances! He was the biggest crime around and it was high time others knew that.

Tommy was happy being a vigilante. Sure, it was exhausting, but he was helping those who felt helpless. And he knew what that felt like... Still. It hurt knowing that your idols wanted your head on a pike.

House of Cards Superhero AU, it's not solely Ranboo centric but he's very much one of the main povs. It's also a really interesting one, like, it puts a very unique spin on the whole superhero thing by tying it more to the dsmp storyline. Overall it's just really good and I highly recommend it

I Have Memory Problems??? and I Can Teleport??? are also 2 very fun reads. They're two sister fics that the author is writing, the first follows o!Ranboo in the dsmp and the second dsmp!Ranboo in the origin server. They're both extremely entertaining and highly recommended
