Hmm, okay to be completely honest, I haven't really spent much time thinking about this. However I do personally think that Candace and Phineas' parents are divorced, while Ferb's mom passed away.

All that said, let's see if I can come up with something here...

Linda and Mr. Flynn were married young

Linda was still in her Lindana days then, he was some up-and-coming producer at the time

They met at a party somewhere and hit it off immediately. It's called networking.

They were the hot couple in the tabloids for awhile. You could barely go a week without seeing their faces or hearing their names somewhere.

Shortly after they were married, Linda found out she was pregnant and gave up the Lindana act to stay at home with the baby

Candace was a very ugly baby.

Candace loved her daddy, she was like a little duckling that followed him around everywhere

She liked to put on his glasses and his shoes and stomp around the house doing impressions of him.

They lived as a unit of three for awhile until Phineas came into the picture

Phineas was a sickly baby (you can't tell me that head of his made for an easy birthing experience), so it was hard on the family while he spent time in the hospital

He was also an ugly baby btw.

When Phineas was around two, all the stress had reached the breaking point, and they finally admitted defeat and divorced

I hate to say it was a bitter divorce, but well, there must be some reason he's out of the picture.

Lawrence and Mrs. Fletcher were sickeningly in love

Like ooey gooey mushy wushy stuff 24/7 just the most disgusting couple to be around.

They met as teenagers and were sweethearts ever since.

They liked to go on dates to cute little restaurants as often as they could

She loved movies, practically every weekend was spent at the cinema. She especially liked old black and white films.

She got sick when Ferb was only a baby, but she hid it well from him

She didn't want him to remember her ill.

Until she couldn't hide it anymore.

She passed away when Ferb was only a toddler

It scares him that the older he gets, the less he remembers of her.

Lawrence was - understandably - a wreck.

For several months.

Ferb stayed with his grandparents for awhile

Lawrence just couldn't cope with his grief and a toddler at the same time

Especially since every time he looked at Ferb, he saw her eyes.

Eventually Lawrence picked himself up, and while still devastated, knew he needed a fresh start.

For both of them. For all of them.

Ferb once asked why they didn't see Mummy anymore, and Lawrence almost broke down again

That's when he moved them to the United States

He knew he'd miss his family, but this was a clean slate.

It was hard at first, raising a kid on his own, but he knew he had to, for Ferb's sake

It's what his wife would have wanted. He'd promised her he'd do a good job.

He was so nervous the day he enrolled his shy little boy in preschool

They had barely walked into the classroom when a little redheaded boy took Ferb's hand and said "I know what we're going to do today!"

Lawrence met the boy's mom later that day.

i just heard someone on youtube (T B Skyen) say that silco loved jinx but didnt quite know how to love powder, while vi loves powder but doesnt know how to love jinx. and oooof oof ouch yeah

also it got me thinking and obviously jinx and powder arent two different people shes just going by a different name now but its also not baseless to analyze them as different "characters", or what traits of jinx are part of powder, etc. like the animators literally have a trick where they change her facial structure how they animate jinx to show when shes behaving more like powder. shes completely changed who she is, its jinx now powder fell down a well, sat on the jinx chair embraces who she is etc etc

#powder is like jinxs inner child #while jinx is- or was before the chair scene- the persona she puts on where she loves Violence and Chaos and shes Crazy HaHaHaHaHa #so when someone says like. ''jinx is being more powder in this scene'' it means shes regressing into being more childlike because of her #trauma or maybe shes so distressed and emotional that her persona fell apart for a second and the sad child underneath showed through #''silco loves jinx but doesnt know how to love powder'' means he loves and supports her being confident and smart in her inventions and #trying to accept and move on from her past. but hes teeeeerrible at that bc he doesnt want to let powder heal #he just wants her to bury that part of herself #and vi loves and cares for her baby sister so so much but shes terrified and doesnt want to accept the reality of what shes become #i do think vi had a point before tho. powder Was in there and while that doesnt negate jinx she could still reach her #and maybe help her out #idk how true that is after shimmer and silco dying tho. again. chair scene. the persona has fully become who jinx is theres no going back #powder fell down a well #arcane #jinx arcane #powder arcane #ignore me im just brainstorming ive been thinking about this show CONSTANTLY for the past few weeks i have so many thoughts on everyone #im sure this is a conclusion people reached years ago immediately after the show came out but im slow #theres a point between the child powder and the crazy terrorist jinx where the real true her lies #and that point has been getting closer and closer to the jinx side

People like Bill Jr. got all kinds of things wrong about Scully but probably none moreso than thinking it was tragic that Mulder was dragging her along on some descent into madness, when actually the real tragedy was how few of the people she loved ever realized it wasn't a descent.

(It couldn't be bc 1. it's not madness and 2. she was already there.)

With 12 hours left on the clock, I'm ready to pull out all the stops.

Do any of you remember Fever-Dream Makoto?

[Title "反抗期" roughly translates to "Rebellious Phase"] (Vol. 3 of the Danganronpa 4Koma KINGS series) ((Fever-Dream Makoto in reference to my captions on these posts (x) (x) ))

Well, I'm promising to translate the full comic!

HOWEVER

This will only happen if both Mondo and Makoto win their respective polls!

This is a strip that lasts 6 pages! That's 11 4komas!

Once again, if the condition above isn't met, this comic will still get translated! However, y'all will have to wait another couple of months for it to be released with my full KINGS series translation. (I'm not that cruel, c'mon lol) If these guys DO win, though, then I can promise the translation within 2 weeks of the poll closing!

just hit 50k in cryptids wip :’)

#chugging along but the book is getting WRITTEN #I have 12.5 scene left btw…#technically in my outline I’m a little past the halfway point #but I think I have ~30k left to go 👀👀#it’s always so funny when you reach a milestone like this bc despite the agony of writing the thing you get all tingly and sappy like..#oh yeah :’) I wrote all that!! I’ve made it so far!!#ive got weird feelings abt this story but i am quite proud #it’s also been a while since I’ve progressed this far with an original project and ngl..
