Accommodations are not special, they’re not a leg up, they’re not a benefit. They’re not putting anyone ahead in the race, nor are they taking anything away from others.
They exist to put us on a level playing ground to everyone else, and nothing more.

Trying to write multiple happily ever afters (it’s a choose-your-own) for a story broadly set in the real modern world has me returning to a lot of similar themes like
- safe, stable living situation
- less financial worries
- lovely food
- revenge on billionaires
- living near some nice trees

Me: *Turns on my touch lamp and it starts as the dim light setting.*
My head: AAAAA I see the blinding light of God's wrath! He has come to smite us!!! We shall perish before the night shall arive.

Holiday Whump incoming:
Character A is visiting their family out of town for Christmas. It's been years, they're so excited about it that they just tell themself the cough, sore throat and exhaustion they're feeling on the car ride up is from a long week at work. It was huge to get this time off. Maybe Character A struggles with chronic illness or not - but they're used to pushing through. Character B, their partner, tells them to take it easy and relax. But how can they? They're seeing family and friends and have so many exciting plans. Everybody wants to do stuff together and Character A doesn't want to miss out on anything, can't stand the idea of ruining the visit with their weak body.
But it's inevitable. They're downing pills just to stay afloat and still having aches and the cough keeps getting worse. They're using their portable nebulizer every chance they get, during every car ride to try and help their breathing by the time they reach each gathering. They're so tired, they just want to sleep but this isn't a vacation for sleeping, it's for celebrating and cheer and...
They can't sleep at night because of the coughing which they muffle into their pillow trying not to keep others up. On Christmas morning they gather their strength to do presents and it's great, they can muster up witty comments and gratefulness. And then a family walk is proposed. Character B looks at Character A getting worked up about trying to go for it even though they can barely catch their breath sitting down and finally draws the line. "No, it's time to rest," they say.
Character A sleeps all day. They feel bad for disappointing everyone. And their family is disappointed, they know they are. A's body is always betraying them and it's hard to always be sympathetic. A does feel a bit better after resting until dinner though so they'll try their hardest to join in on everything tonight... Only to wear themselves out again. And the cycle continues...

Okay okay—I need to stop before I burn myself. Because I’m on fire, oh my gods. There were so many song inspirations, I put them together in a playlist for this poem! Here’s @skylerwitherspoon’s prompt for day 19.
Still debating on if I’ll…make a spoken poetry video for this poem but I’ll leave it to yall in a poll.

Wait wait... i have.... an Idea
A Sonic AU based on the song Aura by Ghost and Pals
It follows Amy as she investigates a series of disappearances, including the disappearance of her childhood friend and crush Sonic, and tries to find the cause of a strange "fog disease" that is plagueing her village at night, using her fortune cards to guide her
The disease drives people mad and changes them, even turning some into beasts. She believes it's connected to the disappearances, and that Sonic may have been afflicted, which is why he went missing in the first place
Tails would join her in her investigation as he is Sonic's brother and has been trying to find him with no results. He also wants to learn more about said disease to hopefully find some kind of cure to help the rest of the village
(The "fog disease" is of course dark gaia energy. I literally cannot listen to that song without thinking about dark gaia energy when I hear the words "fog disease" like it's literally purple smoke that makes ppl act weird and turned Sonic into a werehog like. How could I not make that connection (<- i am not normal))

Universal Studios Hollywood was an amazing experience yesterday! And honestly was super disability friendly (from my perspective at least). Accommodations were easy to get and we’re not a hassle at all!! All the staff was super nice and always made sure I would be able to ride the rides/experiences. I’m so happy that it is the way it is. Also, having my crutches was LIFE CHANGING omg sure I was in pain yesterday, but it didn’t get to a point where I couldn’t handle it and today im not in a flare which is AMAZING!!!
Tl;dr: Universal studios Hollywood was an amazing experience and super accommodating and holy shit having my forearm crutches made my life so much easier.

Im the person who asked for hatred themed blinkies and i love these!! (I did mean the emotion) also you make these so fast like?? I literally sent the ask yesterday and now theyre done you must really love making blinkies ahsjsjwjjsdlahdfsd
I ABSOLUTELY DO IS THE THING! I make these from scratch using SAI & CSP, I always have a blast coming up with concepts and getting requests makes me very happy!
I've made 300+ blinkies total so far and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. It's the perfect thing to do while I'm listening to a video, and I'm pretty much always brainstorming ideas for new blinkies I can make. I'm fueled by autism and hyperfixation to the highest degree :-)
