Pulling Women
Morgan claims you can't pull so you flirt with Emily...
tw: flirting, sexual tension, mentions smut, praise, brat talk
Tumblr media
The bullpen erupted into laughter as Reid failed at saying his pick up line, "Reid just admit it, you have zero game." Morgan said as he sipped his coffee. Reid looked offended, "Look I don't need pickup lines because my smarts do the work for me." Reid shot back from his desk. You looked between the two of them and Morgan took notice. "Y/n, I feel like you are the same as Reid." You faked offense and put your hand over your heart, "I am deeply offended that you think I can't pull women." Just as you finished Emily walked back into the bullpen and went to the kitchen to grab coffee. Morgan pointed at her, "Then pull Prentiss." To Morgan, Emily seemed like the kind of woman no one could flirt with. What Morgan didn't know is that Emily had a big fat lesbian crush on you. Emily wanted you in her bed, under her control, and you knew it, "Oh, I can pull Prentiss."
Emily watched the steam rise from her mug and took a deep breath. She just got done taking a statement from an unsub who really got under her skin. It was music to her ears when your voice hit her ears, "Hey Em." You slid up behind her, your hand barely grazing her lower back, sending a chill down her spine. You leaned on the counter next to her, your eyes grazed over her taking in every single detail. How her belt hugged her waist, the way her fingers grasped her mug, how her bangs sat on her forehead. Emily watched you check her out, she saw your pupils dilate and knew immediately the game you were playing. "You look amazing today Emily," the compliment floated off your tongue in the most seductive way you could muster. Emily set her mug down and took a step closer to you. Close enough for you to notice, but not enough to be considered unprofessional in the workplace. Morgan watched from afar, a teasing smile on his face.
"I could say the same about you, pretty girl." The way it sounded coming from Emily almost made your knees buckle, but you were here on a mission. "Do you want to grab drinks on Friday after work? There's a new bar on my street I've been wanting to try." Prentiss was almost shocked by your offer until she remembered the way you blushed when she caught you during a chase last week. Emily grabbed your arm, her fingers lightly dancing as she ran her hand down it, "I would love to," She quirked an eyebrow, "but it seems you're interested in more than just drinks Y/n." You swallowed the lump in your throat and stood up straight, "I guess that's for Friday Emily to find out huh?" You licked your bottom lip, looked at Emily's lips, made eye contact, and said, "Unless you wanna find out sooner, or can you not put your money where your mouth is?" Emily could hear the brat in your voice and it sent a shock straight to her core.
Reid breathed out, "I can't tell if she's failing or if Emily is a little too into this." Morgan looked at him, "Oh she's failing for sure. Prentiss is untouchable." He sounded so confident that Reid even believed him and averted his attention back to the duo at the coffee machine.
Emily turned so her back was to Morgan and Reid, blocking their view of your face. She leaned in close, closer than she should be at work, "I can already tell I have my work cut out for me with you, maybe you need to learn now who's in charge." Your cheeks turned bright red and you clutched the counter with one hand, desperately trying to pull your brain from the fog. "Maybe I do." That's the best you could get out of your mouth with Emily peering at you through her thick eyelashes and her voice lowering an octave. "Good girl." You gasped and it went directly to Emily's head. A devilish smile graced Emily's face, "My apartment, tonight, 7pm. Do not be late."
With that, Emily grabbed her mug and headed to Garcia's office to get some information from her. You took a moment to compose yourself before returning to Morgan, who still thought you failed. "So how did it go?" Reid looked at you expecting you to say you failed. "We have plans." Morgan's mouth fell open, "With Prentiss?" Reid smiled, no matter the circumstances, he loved seeing Morgan be wrong. Happy that Morgan failed, Reid returned to his desk. You shrugged your shoulders, "I'm hot, confident, and good with words, why are you shocked?" Morgan set down his mug, "Are you saying I can't pull Prentiss because I'm not hot?" You sat at your desk beside his, "Precisely." Emily approached from behind, "Morgan just admit it, Y/n is hotter than you."

Here we go:
*********
"I'm hungry." I look at Sy with a pout.
We decided to change some of our habits and establish a healthier lifestyle a few days ago. We've spent most of our nights with take away food, netflix and sex lately, which is great but we both feel like we're getting a little lazy and out of shape so we agreed on making some changes. I pleaded for just adjusting our eating habits, less pizza and burgers, more salad, vegetables and other healthy stuff but Sy insisted on adding sports to our daily schedule.
So he made me get up early today for a run - on a sunday! He took me to a beautiful lake, a secluded spot I've never heard of before, although it's just an one-hour-drive away, and once we got there we ran along the shore around the lake, which left me pretty exhausted and against all my predictions and my mocking beforehand I have to admit my hot trucker boyfriend wasn't half as drained as I was when we arrived at my car again. He's not only buff from going to the gym but apparently very fit too. I mean, I know his stamina but I'm still surprised that I was hardly able to keep up with him. I tried to distract him during our run, of course I did, pointing out that we're all alone at the early hour, that no one is around, trying to make him stop for a hot make out session in the woods or even a little quickie, but no, my arts of seduction were wasted on Sy, he just shook his head with a playful grin and a strict glance, giving my butt a little slap to make me run a little faster.
So now that we're back home, I'm starving, craving some good food and chill out time on the couch. "I mean it, Tom. I need food." He laughs and the warm, deep rumbling sound makes me smile. He pulls me close and gives me a sweet, little kiss. "Sure, babe. Let's have an early lunch. Salad and sandwiches?" "Sounds great. I prepare the salad and you make the sandwiches?" He nods and we start to work silently side by side in my kitchen, that's actually a little too small for two people but we're used to it and as usual...Sy makes it fit.
It's unavoidable that our bodies touch in the tiny space. When Sy reaches for the plates in the board above my head, his side presses against mine and I can smell his fresh, woodsy scent, this warm mix of sandalwood with a hint of bourbon, that comes from the beard and body soap he uses. I take a deep breath and exhale slowly and he gives me a big smile, knowing that I love his fresh-out-of-the-shower-smell. I'm rinsing the lettuce and Sy turns on the radio, humming along to the country song that's playing while he spreads mayo on some slices of bread.
"What do you want on your sandwich, darling?" Sy asks.
"I don't know…" I turn to him with an innocent smile, my hands on my hips, pretending to think about his question. "I'm craving something tasty, substantial, I guess. What about a good piece of lunch meat? Something real, that leaves me completely stuffed."
I grin and turn away and I can easily picture the smirk that is spreading on Sy's handsome face. He loves some good banter and it may sound funny but it's often some kind of foreplay for us. After draining off the lettuce and putting it into a big, wooden bowl, I chop some bell peppers and some tomatoes.
"I need the cucumber." I point at the vegetable that is lying out of reach beside the loaf of fresh white bread that Sy is using for the sandwiches. He grins at me.
"You want the cucumber? That long, thick, snakelike thing?" He raises his eyebrows and does a tiny hip roll. I laugh at his very obvious innuendo and I can't help but find this silly, dorky way of flirting irresistibly sexy. The playful, funny, sometimes a little clumsy side of this hulk of a man, who's usually so confident and skillful, is my weakness. He gets me with being an awkward clown every time. I admit it here and now, I have a soft spot for my big, strong man being a boyish goofball from time to time.
"Yes, please. I need it for the salad." I flash him a smile and he grabs his dick through his sweatpants. "Sure you don't want my cucumber?" Another silly grin that makes me laugh and slap his arm playfully. "I want something to eat." I say, trying to grab the cucumber from his raised hand.
I come closer to him than necessary, pressing my body against his, making him feel my tits and my nipples that harden under my top as soon as they get in contact with the soft fabric of his shirt, that hides his broad, hairy chest. He gives me a wink and the cucumber before grabbing me by the waist.  "So do I, babe. So do I."
Sy licks his upper lip and his hands wander to my ass, giving it a squeeze. "I'm hungry…" He bends down and lowers his mouth to my ear. "Hungry for you. I want to eat you out." A shiver runs down my spine and a little gasp of anticipation leaves my mouth. I place the cucumber on the kitchen counter and wrap my arms around his neck.
"And what about me? What will you feed me?"
"If you let me eat your pussy and cum like a good girl, I'm gonna stuff this pretty, little mouth with my dick. How about that?"
His eyes are tinted dark now, showing his arousal and pure, burning desire. Instead of an answer I kiss him, telling him that I agree wordlessly, showing him my love and devotion by using my mouth and my tongue. Sy kisses me back with passion, deepening the kiss, increasing my arousal until my moans get louder and my sex is all wet. He pulls away with a feral grin and undresses me quickly, wasting no time, before he lifts me up just to put me down on the counter before he slowly undresses himself.
His big cock is already hard and I can't help but stare at it with hungry eyes. He takes it in his fist and gives it a few strokes. He knows exactly what a great turn on it is for me to watch him touch himself and so I'm not surprised to see his lips curl up. His smile is sexy, he loves to tease me like this.
"You want that beast?" He doesn't wait for my answer, he just grabs my ankles and pulls me to the edge of the counter. He kneels on the floor and places my thighs on his shoulders, grabbing my tits to knead and caress them while giving me pleasure. He starts with little licks, teasing me, making me beg and whimper, enjoying my helpless, needy little moans and sighs. When he finally eats me out, when he sucks and licks and kisses my pussy, when his tongue circles around my clit, giving it a sexy massage, I don't last long. My orgasm is powerfull and intense and when I cum I whisper his name, my whole body going stiff before the tension disappears and is replaced by this indescribable sensation of warmth and satisfaction.
I look at him and he raises to his feet. "My turn." I say with a smirk. I give Sy a shove and when his back is pressed against the wall I kiss him feverishly, running my hands over his body. I pinch his nipples to make him moan, I know it's going to work because he loves this kind of pain. I grab his dick tightly and I start to jerk him off slowly, just the way I know he likes it best. I want him on the edge of arousal before I suck him off, I want him to beg, I want him enslaved by my touch, weak-willed, putty in my hands. Sy curses when I go on, rubbing my body against his.
"Fuck, babe...yeah…" I take his balls in one hand and squeeze them, never stopping the hand job. His moans are getting louder, the longing in his voice is music to my ears. Sy closes his eyes now, resting his head against the wall.
"Babe...please…" He's out of breath and I know exactly what he wants but I need to hear it.
"Please what?"
"Suck my dick." His whispered answer is such a turn on, my pussy is throbbing as if I didn't have a fantastic orgasm just minutes ago.
"You promised to stuff my mouth with your huge cock." I drop to my knees and look up at him, my lips slightly parted.
"And I will," Sy growls in a low voice. "I'm gonna fill you up, babe." He takes my head in his big hands and guides it towards his crotch. He grabs his dick and shoves it in my mouth. I moan when my lips close around him. "Deeper?" I nod and he pushes a little harder but stops when he feels that I've reached my limit and now I can finally start to give him the blow job.
I love it, love how much power it gives me while at the same time I enjoy the feeling of degradation. I wanna be his whore and I wanna be his master. I want him to dominate me and I want him to be needy, greedy, depending on me. I use my mouth on the tip of his massive member and my hand on his shaft and I know he's already close. His moans turn into heavy panting, his hands tug at my hair, his hips thrust carefully, giving him the feeling of mouthfucking me though I'm in control.
"Touch yourself. I want you to cum when I spill my load in your mouth." His voice is so rough and deep it makes me shiver. I obey without hesitation because I really need to come again. I'm literally dripping with arousal and so I pleasure myself. I have this picture of us in my mind, his dick between my swollen lips, how I give him head, a sweaty, obedient mess, how much he wants to come in my mouth, all while I finger my wet pussy. When I stimulate my clit I get closer and closer.
"You're there, darling? I can't hold back any longer…." I nod and I hear him cry out loud.
"FUCK!"
Sy grabs my head again, fucking my mouth with full force while he cums. His dick slides down my throat and I have to gag although I enjoy the sensation of his cock balls-deep in my mouth. When I climax, it's even harder than the first time and I feel like exploding into millions of stars. I swallow his seed before he pulls out slowly.
He drops to his knees too and kisses me long and deep, his hands cupping my face tenderly. We both collapse on the ground and just lay there for a while, on the checkered vinyl flooring in my tiny kitchen, holding hands, looking at each other lovingly.
"Guess that's enough sports for today, baby?" I grin at him and Sy laughs out loud. "Yeah, I could get used to that kind of cardio, though." He smirks and I kiss him. "And now do me a favor, Sy and order a pizza. That lunch meat was delicious, but I'm still starving."

Stronger than she thinks Part 2
Triggers warning: mental and physical abuse, violence, swearing
Part 1 | Part 3
Fanfiction | Archiveofourown | Wattpad
Tumblr media
It was 6 a.m when I walked out of the cafeteria and nearly choked on my saliva when I saw Eric and Brent. They were laughing at some joke. I couldn’t help but feel a slight twinge in my stomach. If only Eric knew what monster Brent was. Who was I kidding! Eric would not give a shit about this. They stopped in their tracks when they notice me. My face contorted with disgust at the sight of Brent’s horny eyes looking up and down my body. A cold shiver ran down my spine.
“Christine, long time no see.” Brent’s smirk was full of himself.
He had me cornered. Eric was staring at our exchange. It was really bad. If I backed away it would give too much information and the same if I retorted. Ugh, one week of more or less peace wasn’t enough. I became a real ninja since my encounter with Eric. I have succeeded to avoid both men, but my luck was wearing off today.
“My life was brighter without the sight of you. Such a shame you just ruined it.” My sarcastic tone enraged him, his ears turned red and his eyes shot fire. Good. Then he smirked. Oh, crap.
“You know you miss me, Chrissy.” His voice was hushed and seductive.
All color was drained from my face. My nails were digging in my palms, blood slowly spilling from the crescent wounds. This nickname rang a bell. He had called me that when he was all over me. I bit my lip so hard I tasted blood in my mouth. Motherfucker!
“I have something better to do than talking to a prick like you.” I hissed back, turning on my heels.
“You’re so hot when you’re angry Chrissy.” He called after me.
A wave of entangled emotions was bubbling inside of me. It won’t be long before I break down. I began to run when I turn the corner. I went straight to the roof. The rain was pouring hard. Thick drops fell on my face and soaked my clothes. I screamed at the top of my lungs to the raging sky. I couldn’t take his attitude, his face nor his fucking nickname. I took out all my pent up anger and desperation onto the wall beside me. My knuckles hit the wall harder and harder until my knees gave out.  I imagined his face, as bloody as my hands, as shattered as my soul. I wish I could just disappear or forget what happened. Hot tears were streaming down my cheeks. Okay, maybe I was not drained yet.
“Why did you do this to me?” I asked to the raging sky, defeated.
“Why who did what to you?”
Eric’s deep voice startled me. He was standing right at the door, the only escape from the roof. Wonderful. I sighed deeply. I am so fucked, I thought. I felt like I was ready to jump from a cliff without a safety net awaiting me at the bottom. Everything was crashing down around me. I had nothing to lose now. Still, a part of me refused to admit what happened. My bruised ego wasn’t willing to let go. I closed my eyes a second before answering, my back still facing him.
“It’s none of your concern Eric,” I replied dryly.
The tears had stopped as soon as I heard his voice. I appeared weak enough right now to not turn around crying my eyes off. Eric came in front of me, crouching down to be near my level. His eyes more intense than usual as if he was trying to read my thoughts. I wished I wasn’t in the cafeteria earlier. I wished Eric would just ignore me.
“I know this is related to Brent.” I hold my breath at the name. “Tell me, Christine, what did he do to you?” His cold voice chilled me to the bone.
I shivered but held his gaze nonetheless. I shook my head in complete denial. Eric was the last person I wanted to confess to. Eyebrows furrowed and teeth clenched, I held my ground.
“Nothing.” My voice was surprisingly strong.
Eric huffed then closed the gap between us. His breath fanned my face, our noses nearly touching. My breath quickened at the sudden intrusion into my personal space. Tears brimmed in my eyes and I cursed my body for trembling like a leaf. Eric’s eyebrow quirked up, his piercings glistening at the movement. His icy blue eyes tore into my soul, curiosity burning inside them. However, his face was void of any emotion.
“Now, tell me why are you in such a state? You can’t fool me, Christine.” His low voice reached a deeper octave.
Seconds passed, I couldn’t bring myself to tare my eyes away from him. Even though I hated him to follow me up here. Didn’t he have better things to do? I closed my eyes and whispered finally.
“Brent raped me.”
My surrender cost me a lot. It was the final straw, the confirmation that my life became a living hell. Silence followed my confession. I found the courage to open my eyes. Eric was fuming, his gaze fixated on the ground. A hole would appear any second in the concrete at this point. His clenched jaw and fists told me that he was on the verge of losing his self-control. I didn’t know if it was a good or a bad thing. Was he angry at Brent for doing this? Or was he angry because Brent might lose his job as his consultant? So many questions swirled in my mind when his sharp voice cut the dreadful silence.
“When?”
“Monday night,” I replied curtly, not trusting my voice further.
“Son of a bitch.” He muttered under his breath. “We have to report to Max. Brent has to respond to his crime.”
His words held a finality that scared me. Will he report with or without my consent? His entire demeanor screamed that he was ready to bolt for Max’s office any second. I shot him a wary look and shook my head. It can’t be happening so fast. I hadn’t processed the whole thing yet.
I needed some time to prepare myself for the incoming battle. Should I say the truth or should I lie? An investigation won’t do anything without my word. Brent set up the whole thing, there was no proof. Unless… I went to the infirmary to be examined. No way, no one would ever touch me again or see my lady parts.
“Max won’t know anything. Brent can’t be judged for his crime because of the circumstances.” I retorted with annoyance.
“What circumstances? Rape is rape for fuck’s sake.” Growled Eric.
“You wouldn’t understand because I can’t even figure it out myself,” I admitted bitterly. “Cowardice is my crime.”
“What do you mean?” Something flickered in his eyes.
“While he was…” I trailed off. “I couldn’t move a muscle, my body won’t cooperate. I was helpless, an empty shell. I could just watch and... feel.”
The words ran out of my mouth before my brain could register. I wished I could disappear or that Eric would magically teleport somewhere else. I felt my cheeks burn from embarrassment and shame. I lowered my gaze onto the floor, I couldn’t look at him after saying this.
“It is pretty common during a traumatic experience. Your brain shuts down to protect you, it’s a defensive response.” He explained with a rather know-it-all voice.
A surge of unknown anger bubbled inside of me. His nose side triggered something deep. I huffed and threw my arms around to avoid punching him. His psychological bullshit wouldn’t help me to get rid of my guilt.
“I was a coward nonetheless and I’ll remain as long as I can’t forgive myself. Where’s the Eric I know, the ruthless leader? He would just say to suck it up and get on with my life or I would end up Factionless. Why do you care anyway? Just throw me over the roof already to end my misery!” I yelled.
Eric stood still, unfazed by my sudden outburst. He crossed his arms over his broad chest and waited until I calmed a little bit. His eyes boring holes into my skull.
“Enjoy, this is the only chance you’ve got to shout at me.” He smirked briefly. “No matter what you think of me Chris, this is part of my job to ensure the security of all Dauntless members. The only way to protect you and other women is to send him to justice.”
I growled inwardly. He was right. Brent should be stopped as soon as possible. He could do worse in the meantime. I sighed deeply and bowed my head. I was conflicted. Part of me wasn’t willing to give in. My intimacy had already been violated. I didn’t need a nurse looking down there now. I was selfish, I knew, but it was easier to ignore it than to face it. Tell me about being Dauntless, huh.
“I’ll tell you when I’m ready to report this,” I muttered.
Eric’s lips twitched up at the corners in an almost genuine smile. My heart skipped a beat at the sight, his face always tight and closed was a bit relaxed. Bewitched Eric returned. His changing demeanor was unnerving, I didn’t know what to expect next.
“We should go back inside to take care of your knuckles. Unless you want to catch the flu.”
He turned on his heels and stalked away. He didn’t seem bothered by the rain drenching his clothes and hair. I followed him down in the compound. The cold hallways made me shiver. My soaked clothes clang awkwardly to my body. I certainly looked like a penguin with a stick shoved up his ass or a pathetic excuse of a cowboy, walking after hours of riding a horse. We didn’t say a word until he took a turn I hadn’t expected. He was leading me down the leaders’ quarter. I stopped dead in my tracks.
“Why do you bring me here?” I questioned warily.
“You prefer Marlene’s questioning?” He retorted coolly.
I began to walk again. Marlene was the head of the infirmary, a curious young woman who couldn’t hold her tongue. Eric’s smirk returned to his lips. He was himself again. Good. We entered his apartment. It was huge, tidy, and neat as if no one lived here. There was classical furniture, a black leather couch, a table, a full bookshelf. Three closed doors faced us, which lead to the kitchen, the washroom, and the bedroom, I presumed. Eric went into one of the rooms to get me spare clothes.
“You can use the bathroom to take a shower and change. We’ll take care of your knuckles after.” He pointed to the door closest to me.
I nodded and took the clothes from his hands. He disappeared quickly through the same door. I guessed he had a bathroom connected to his bedroom. Perks of being a leader. The hot water hit me and washed my emotions. Reality dawned on me. Eric knew. He was the only one other than Brent. How will it go between both men? They were working together, how was this supposed to go well?
I hoped that Eric would not do anything impulsive. It would only worsen the situation I was in. I didn’t even know what was the law regarding rape. Did it even exist? I wasn’t sure. Rape was a rare occurrence in Dauntless, exceptional trials that I’ve never seen in my twenty-five years here.
I tried to escape from my thoughts while drying myself. I get changed. Eric gave me one of his shirts, a large hoodie, and jogging. It smelt like him, his scent surrounded me. A mix of mint and leather. A strange sense of security settled in me. A knock on the door resonated.
“Are you finished?” Eric asked through the door.
“Yes, you can come in,” I responded, slightly surprised by his thoughtfulness. He could have barged into the room with no care in the world. We were in his apartment after all.
The door opened and Eric walked in. He changed into a similar outfit to mine. I couldn’t recall the last time I’ve seen him in anything other than his leaders’ attire. His tight shirt outlined his toned chest and his jogging hang low on his hips, I could catch a glimpse of his smooth skin. I adverted my eyes elsewhere, disturbed by my wandering mind. I was raped a week ago and I drooled over him. Something was definitely wrong with me. Did Brent hit me too hard?
I’d lie if I said that he wasn’t handsome, but Eric was Eric. He was untouchable, a leader, and most importantly the bearer of my secret. I needed to suppress the reminiscence of my crush on him. It wasn’t the time nor the best circumstances and, let’s be real, Eric could have any other Dauntless girl. So why bother with me?
Eric opened a drawer and took a first-aid kit without glancing at me. I had washed all the dry blood from my hands. The cuts were visible now. I let him take care of them. His rough hands were gentle and he kept space between us. I appreciated the gesture even though his changing behavior unsettled me. He bandaged my hands then cleaned all the supplies.
“If you want to fight find a real opponent. Next time the wall will win. Your bones are not that tough.” He remarked, his eyes resting on me.
“I wish I could kill him with my bare hands but it would do me no good.” I huffed while rolling my eyes.
“You could call me next time.” His voice light as a feather.
“What? You’ll do worse than the wall, Eric.” I responded, crossing my arms over my chest.
His laugh filled the bathroom. I’ve never heard it before. I was stunned for a second, processing what I was witnessing. I must’ve looked at him like he had grown two heads because he composed himself and raised an eyebrow.
“What?” The ghost of a smile lingering on his lips.
“I’ve never heard you laugh before,” I said without thinking.
His serious expression returned as well as his cold blue eyes. The Eric I knew was finally back.
“Now get out of here. I have work to do.” He dismissed.
I was about to leave when I look at him with worried eyes. He sighed and rolled his eyes.
“Come on, I won’t do anything about your secret without your consent.” He practically growled.
“Thanks, Eric.” I nodded slightly then walked out of the apartment.
Tumblr media
Once alone dread fell onto me. I went to the tattoo parlor, my safe haven. Tori was cleaning her stuff when I walked in. She smiled at me and beckoned me to come with her to one of the tattoo stalls. I joined her and sit on the tattoo chair as if I belonged in here.
“Hey, Chris you want something today?” She asked, taking a sit by the chair I sat on.
“Yop Tori. I think I’ve got an idea.”
I explained to her what I wanted. She drew the design, it was better than what I have expected. The buzzing of the machine soothed me. It was a tough pleasure to get tattooed. The needles were in and out of my skin, the dull ache growing in my back. Tori hadn’t talked since the beginning.
“Now, would you tell me why you’re wearing man’s clothes and have your knuckles bandaged?” She asked out of nowhere.
I tensed slightly then relaxed not to mess up the tattoo.
“I ended up getting caught in the storm outside. Someone get me spare clothes. ” I answered carefully.
Tori hummed in response. Silence fell upon us once again. I must have fallen asleep because Tori woke me up by shaking my shoulder. I opened my eyes to see a large smile on her face.
“Good nap, sleeping beauty?” She mocked.
“Sorry, I won’t do it again,” I replied, stretching my sore muscles.
“Don’t do promises you can’t keep, Chris.” She laughed.
Every time Tori tattooed me I fell asleep in no time. I smiled and get up to see my back in the mirror. The beautiful Phoenix, wings spread, was looking back at me. It was stunning, the fine details made it seem real. A masterpiece that took my entire back. Satisfied and happy, I turned to Tori.
“This is wonderful. Thanks, Tori.”
She nodded and was called by another customer. I waved goodbye and took my leave. I didn’t know what to do on my days off. Even more so now that I didn’t have any friends to spend time with. I missed hanging around with Jenna and Kate. I have encounter neither of them since their visit in my apartment. A dull ache crushed my ribcage, I was alone. Brent took everything from me. He took more than my innocence, he destroyed my life. I couldn’t trust anyone, not fully at least. There will still be a doubt, a “what if” that will ruin my relationships. I wandered in the Pit like a lost soul. It was becoming full. I sat on a rock and watched Dauntless members passing by.
A hand fell on my shoulder. I jerked away and turned around to face Four. My eyebrows furrowed as my heart calmed his frantic beats. He looked tired, working in the control room took its toll on him. He seemed more dynamic when he was training the initiates. He arbored a somber expression, his eyes boring into mine.
“Chris we have to talk about something. In private.” He muttered.
I gulped, it wasn’t something good. Four had to know something to appear out of nowhere to talk. He had seen something. Cameras were all over the compound. Brent couldn’t avoid all of them. I didn’t want anyone to see what happened. If they were a trial, it would be watched by so many people. My body shivered and I get up to follow Four in an empty hallway. We stood a few feet apart, staring at each other, choosing our words carefully.
“Chris, I saw what happened Monday night. Eric and I were talking about the next initiation when the screens showed you and Brent.”
Eric knew before I confessed. I felt betrayed that he didn’t tell me. I swallowed thickly and shook my head. The situation was getting out of my hands. I needed to get out of here. The pitiful gaze Four cast on me made me sick. I couldn’t take his soft eyes. I turned around and ran as if I was chased by a werewolf.
I turned the corner and crashed into a strong body. My eyes settled on Brent. He had his arms wrapped around my waist to keep me from falling. His intense brown orbs plunged into my emerald irises. My body stiffened and I wriggled in his grasp to get free. It only made him tighten his grip.
“Oh Chrissy, I knew you would run after me.” His low voice rang in my ears.
I tried to pry him away from me to no use, he was way too strong. His lips graced my neck, a cold shiver ran down my spine.
“Brent get off me. I don’t want you.” I growled.
Footsteps echoed in the hallway. Brent let me go and I bolt out of here. Eric was right. Brent had to be brought to justice or he will continue. I went into my apartment and closed myself for the rest of the day. I didn’t eat this evening. I was feeling sick at the idea of explaining what happened to Max and the other leaders. My night had been restless, haunted by horrible nightmares.

Imagine Prompt: Jealous Reader
Tumblr media

Cal Kestis x Reader
Summary: Greez finally takes the crew to Takodana—keeping the promise that he made not too long ago about laying off once everything was over.
Notes: I originally planned this as a sequel to Inseparable Dyad, I tried writing some parts to be ambiguous to its connection with Inseparable Dyad, but I think it works well as a standalone fic too. Either way works anyway, that’s why I made it ambiguous ;)
Masterlist
The Mantis entered the Takodana system via jump to hyperspace. You and Cal have been long awake after your nap, you’ve taken your places in the cockpit—Cal at shotgun, you on the seat opposite Cere.
The off-planet view of Takodana could be seen and appreciated from the Mantis’s windshield. Greez cranks the steering lever forward, you buckled to your seat as the vessel enters the atmosphere; soon enough, the turbulence went away and the crew could sit back and relax. The captain looks for a suitable place to land, not far from the castle but hidden well enough from prying, suspicious eyes.
“Okay, like I promised—Takodana!” Greez exclaimed, almost celebratory in tone.
As soon as you’ve set foot on the cushiony soil of the planet, a strong waft of petrichor invaded your sense of smell. The air was so fresh and clean. Everything about the planet reminded you of Bogano—of home. Unconsciously, you smile at the vast green horizon behind the castle; Cal turned his head to you, stared at you and your infectious smile caught on to him. He smiles to himself.
“Come on, I’ll show you newbies what a real Bloody Rancor tastes like!”
“I’ve never tasted a bleeding Rancor before,” a clueless Merrin blurted.
“No, no. That’s just a beverage name, not a real Rancor bleeding to death!” you explained whilst finding Merrin’s cluelessness somewhat endearing.
Greez was the tour guide for today. After all, he said that the whole crew deserves a day off after that long, exhausting quest and everything else that followed. He led you to the castle’s walls. Upon nearing the high arch that leads to the main door, you looked up high and saw flags flying their colors in the wild wind—there were so many of them that you could no longer see the part of wall where they’re stuck to, because the flags were clustered closely to one another, either way it mesmerized you.
Through the main door, the inside of the castle was like any other cantina—albeit the wider space and more seating areas. The entrance of the Mantis crew caused some curious heads to turn but they quickly looked back away. The last thing you need is more attention.
“Greez!” the voice of a middle-aged female calls from across the room.
“Hey, Maz!” Greez returned the greeting.
“Took you long enough to visit!”
The cantina keeper emerges from the dense crowd of patrons. An orange creature nearly in equal height with Greez appeared. She donned a pair of large glasses which may have made her eyes look slightly bigger than actual. Her voice was wise as it was feisty and lively, there is no doubt she is the castle’s owner. Aside from her appearance, you and Cal could sense something strong coming from Maz—you immediately distinguished that she was a Force-sensitive.
When the niceties and quick catch-up finished between Greez and Maz, he introduced each of you to her, afterwards Maz gave a polite bow to acknowledge all of you. Neither of you may have spoken, but Maz could already sense that you were thinking about her—curious about her, she could almost hear the questions in your head.
In a little while. Maz thought to herself, hoping that you would pick up the hint.
“Welcome to my castle, feel free to go about as you please. Help yourself to some drinks at the bar, put it on Greez’s tab if you like,” she said half-jokingly.
“Aww come on, don’t be like that, Maz! Say we split 50-50?”
Maz didn’t verbally respond, she just chuckled and dismissively waved at the group before walking up to a group she was initially speaking with prior to your arrival. Merrin decided to look around and order later, Cere wanted to sit down already and relax.
“I’ll have whatever you guys are having,” Cere said before going to look for a seat.
All that’s left is you, Cal, and Greez. The three of you sat by the bar, the bartender was a teal, female Twi’lek. As soon as Cal takes his seat on the barstool, she slowed down in wiping the glass in her hand.
“Hey there, delicious,” the Twi’lek spoke in a suggestive hushed tone, when that caught your and Cal’s attention, she continued on with the act. “Anything I could get for you?”
Cal was evidently taken aback by the display, he subtly pulled mere inches away from the Twi’lek while slowly raising his eyebrow at her. You propped your chin on your fist, a look that screamed “What did she just say?” plastered all over your face.
“Uh yeah, five Bloody Rancors, maybe?”
“I’ll get right on it,” she flashed a coy smile before turning around to work on your drinks.
You and Cal shot looks at one another, shrugging shoulders and throwing raised eyebrows back and forth with each other. Your free hand gestured to the Twi’lek, your body language echoing “Is she for real?”
Suppressing your growing irritation made you eerily silent and withdrawn. Greez calls the bartender and tells her to just serve it on their table, she acknowledged the request but kept her eyes on Cal. The Twi’lek was exuding so much attraction to Cal that she’s practically reeking of it.
The three of you immediately left the bar and searched for Cere and Merrin. The flow of the conversation was natural but you were unconsciously out of it, you barely interacted with the crew; Cal sensed the jealousy from the start, he put his arm around you to comfort you and you gradually picked up the conversation. The Twi’lek bartender served the drinks to your table, she noticed Cal’s arm over your shoulder, she maintained eye contact on Cal but you had eyes on her too. Your gaze pierced the Twi’lek, her seductive smirk reduces to a poker face and then leaves. Cal noticed your silence in her presence until she was gone and so he slightly tightens his grip on you.
The Bloody Rancor was apparently a one-hit wonder among the Mantis crew, even Merrin liked it! The chatter and the stories mingled with the patrons’, you decided to explore the rest of the castle and you hurriedly dismissed yourself, making up the excuse of forgetting something back in the ship. Cal waited for a few more paces before following you. He saw you heading back to the ship.
Cal waited a few more minutes before entering the Mantis. He heard the sparking of the soldering iron, the clinking of tools, and the crunching of screws and bolts being wrenched in. He followed the sound and found you in your lonesome by the workbench.
“Hey,” he called.
You glanced over your shoulder, repeated the word, and promptly returned to your handicraft.
“Something wrong?”
“No, not really. I just suddenly found the castle too… crowded,” you muttered and had a dry follow-up. “You should get back there, the bartender might miss you.”
Cal stepped forward, filling up the tiny space beside you by the workbench. He leans his waist against the edge of the table, crossed his arms against his chest, and simply watched you tweak on your gadgets. He knew that you were deliberately trying to avoid eye contact with him; surprisingly, his presence made you a little shaky, you weren’t holding your tools firmly as you should until you accidentally nipped yourself with wire cutters.
“Ow!” You hissed.
Cal immediately took your hand. You didn’t cut yourself luckily, but you nipped yourself hard enough for the base of your pointer finger to get swollen.
“It’s nothing,” you dismissed.
“No, you’re hurt,”
His thumb softly ran across your wound, you gently attempt to pull it away but his grip felt too secure albeit gentle, and then your fingers curled and encased his fingers. Cal slowly closes in on you with your hand held close to his heart.
“I’m fine really, you should go back, they’re probably looking for you,” you continue to dismissively mutter but Cal isn’t budging.
“I don’t think they’ll mind,” his voice was now only a whisper to you.
“Won’t they now?” you muttered.
“Stop talking,”
The gap between you two has vanished, he pulled himself towards you, and then the next thing you knew he has his lips locked onto yours. He dips his tongue into your mouth and a chill ran swiftly down your spine, your heart skipped a beat, failing to conceal your surprise. He gently lets go of your hand, cups your jaw with both hands and intensifies his kiss—causing you to throw your arms around his shoulder, pressing him closer to you whilst you rake his hair with your slender fingers until you gently gripped it.
You felt his smile in the middle of the kiss, you smiled too. His thumb ran across your jaw, his fingers were slowly sinking into the flesh of your neck—in response, you prodded your tongue which caught him by surprise this time. When you pulled away from the kiss, he followed up with another kiss on your forehead and then his lips trail down to the tip of your nose. Suggestive smiles beamed at one another as soon as you found each other’s eyes. Cal playfully pinched your cheek and added another kiss, a quick peck on the lips.
“We should really get back there,” you giggled.
Cal playfully made a pensive expression, squinting his eyes and smacking his lips.
“Yeah, I think we can stay a little bit longer,” he concluded.
You insisted to go back inside, with the half-joke that your drinks are getting warm. You grabbed both of his hands and led him out of the Mantis, the pair of you head back into the castle hand-in-hand. Along the way, he pulled you to him until he could lock his arms around your waist and embrace you, bury his nose on your shoulder and then sneak little kisses on your ear. Your giggles echoed on the outer foyer of the castle until you got back inside and rejoined to catch up with the crew and Maz.

Chapter 4
Derek sulked around the house with his head hung as his cousins played cheerfully. The twins ran up to him on either side, standing to his waist and tugged on his shirt begging him to play with them. “Leave me alone.” The dark haired boy shrugged them off as he grunted. When they refused to loosen their grip, he growled at them, causing them to scream as they ran away. Talia immediately locked her gaze on her son and pulled in her brows, giving him a stern look.
“Derek, you do not speak to your cousin’s like that nor do you growl at them. We are werewolves, not animals.” Derek shot his mom a look of annoyance as he rolled his eyes. Without hesitation, she shifted from mother to alpha. She shot up from where she was seated and gave Derek a look that caused him to shrink in size, cowering before the alpha.
The boy looked up at her with deep green eyes, full of pain and she let the alpha melt away as she became his mother again. “Derek,” she whispered as she caressed his sorrowful face. “You’ve been walking around this house for almost a week now with this atrocious behavior. Talk to me my child.”
Derek averted his eyes from his mother, unwilling to reveal any reason to his behavior. He pulled his face away from her touch, immediately feeling guilty at the motion. He didn’t look to see her reaction, but she knew it was one of disappointment, in him and his reluctance to talk to her. He walked away from her before she could see the tears starting to fill his eyes. “If you won’t talk to me, please talk to someone. You can’t let this eat away at you the way Paige did.”
Derek stopped in his tracks, eyes wide, as his mother spoke to his back. He raised his head and held his breath. This was the first time his mother had spoken to him about her since the cellar. Lost in his thoughts, he lost all his strength towards holding back his tears as they began to fall down his face. He ran to his room to hide from her words and the world.
He curled up into a ball in his bed as he tried to escape the thoughts that were now flooding him. His memories of Paige that had fallen to the back of his mind since he met Kate. It was like reliving the whole story again. When he saw her for the first time in the hallway while playing basketball with his friends. Seeing her play cello when she thought she was alone. The first time they kissed under the stars. Her snarky comments towards him. The way she didn’t put up with his bullshit and told him what she thought without hesitation.
Then his mind drifted, without his consent, to the sound of her heart racing as she ran through the halls of the school from the alpha who attacked her. Her screams when he bit her. The black blood that seeped from everywhere while she laid dying in his arms. Her cries of agony that he couldn’t alleviate. Her begging him to take her life and-- Derek slammed his eyes shut, pulling his legs in closer to his chest. He screamed, trying to shut out her death. He opened his eyes and laid there, gasping for breaths between sobs. His face covered in tears and snot, his face puffy and red. He wiped his eyes with his sleeve as he sat up, collecting himself from the attack of emotions and sat at the edge of the bed, looking at his feet.
His mother had been right. He needed to talk to someone, but he had no one to talk to. No one outside of his mother and Peter knew he was the cause of Paige’s death, but neither of them would understand what he went through, the part of his soul that was taken when he took her life. Not only could he not talk to them about Paige, but he couldn’t talk about Kate either. Peter would tell his mother and she would order him not to see her anymore. Yeah, he was 16 and she was 22, but it was different with her. They just don’t understand.
Derek’s phone buzzed on his desk, springing him back to reality. Sniffing and then wiping the snot from his nose, he stood up and walked over to answer the phone. He saw that it was Kate, and where he normally would have been ecstatic to hear from her, he felt melancholy. He took a deep breath, cleared his throat, and answered the phone as best he could.
“Hello.” His voice rasped as he spoke, revealing the soreness and that tears still lingered in his eyes.
“Hey stranger.” Kate spoke in her smooth, seductive voice. The sounds immediately bringing warmth to Derek, filling the emptiness he had been feeling only a second ago. She heard the hoarseness of his voice, but ignored it. “I’ve missed you, handsome. Wanna come over and play some more poker?”
“Um, yeah. Sure.” Kate was not unaware of his lack of enthusiasm. While Derek did want to see her, he also wanted to escape the lingering sadness and reminders of his room and family. Kate allowed him to escape from this world he found himself in. He slipped out of the house while everyone was getting ready to eat dinner. He hopped on his bicycle and then headed for Kate’s cabin.
What would have taken a human about 45 minutes to bike took him 20. The lights were on inside, but that was no surprise. The sun was starting to set, giving the sky an orange tint that broke through the trees. He walked up to the door and knocked, then shoved his hands in his pockets to hide his sweaty palms. Kate answered the door, wearing jeans and a spaghetti-strap tank top. His eyes gave her a once over, her cleavage not going unnoticed. She caught his gaze and smiled devilishly at the boy. “Come on in.” She stepped aside, allowing him to enter. He kept his head down as he did, hiding his embarrassment.
She asked him if he wanted a beer and derek accepted. He really didn’t want one and it was pointless since it would have no effects, but he didn’t want the woman to ask questions. What sixteen year old boy wouldn’t say yes to a beer? He sat down at the same table as before, the cards already sitting in a stack on its surface.
She handed him the beer, another in her hand for herself, and sat down in the chair sideways, using the chair’s back as an armrest. She gave to boy a crooked smile as she took a swig from the bottle. “So.” Her voice echoed through the small space. She turned in the chair to face the boy and leaned forward, resting her chin on her hand. “What’s new with my brooding boy?”
Derek furrowed his thick brows, immediately glaring at the woman and shot back in a loud voice, “I don’t brood.” She raised her eyebrows causing him to relax his face. His cheeks turned red as he realized he was, in fact, brooding. She laughed and shook her head at him as she picked up the cards and started to shuffle.
“You need to lighten up kid. Relax and have some fun.” Derek raised his eyebrows to her, interested in her ideas. He desperately wanted to, but somewhere along the way he’d forgotten how. Kate flashed a cheshire grin that sent chills down the boy’s spine. “I have an idea.” She spoke in a deeper and more mischievous tone than Derek had heard her use before. “Let’s play strip poker.”
Derek’s face went flush and his body froze at the suggestion. He must have looked sickly because concern covered Kate’s face, a look he had never seen on her before. He shook the cobwebs from his head and answered. “Yeah.” He hadn’t realized what he said until it was too late to take it back.
His cheeks were flushed and he couldn’t look Kate in the eye. She found this amusing, to see him writhe and wriggle in discomfort under her thumb. She began to deal the cards out as Derek thought to himself that this is really happening.
His wolf howled at him, telling him this was a bad idea, but his raging hormones proved to be superior. He took the cards that sat in front of him and began what he knew would be a long night.
———
“Full house,” Derek laid his cards out in front of him in confidence. Kate raised her brow and smiled deceptively. Dread fell over him as he knew what was coming.
“Royal flush, baby.” She winked at him as he threw his arms back and groaned. Derek then proceeded to remove his jeans. As he stood there in nothing but his boxers, Kate looked him over as she bit her bottom lip. For some reason, this made Derek want to cover himself, like she was a wolf eyeing her prey. He sat back down quickly to hide himself behind the chair.
“How come you haven’t lost a single game?” Derek asked sincerely. Suddenly he furrowed his brows, “Are you cheating?” His accusations were hard and cold. Kate laughed.
“Here,” she stood up and removed her top, revealing a pink laced bra. “Better?” She looked down at him seductively with hazel eyes. Derek couldn’t believe his eyes. He didn’t mean to stare, but shock left him useless and unable to move. He finally averted his eyes when he could feel pressure building in his boxers.
He turned to face the table and kept his eyes down. Kate sat back down at her seat and rested her face on her hand. “Don’t be shy, Derek. It’s okay.” Her voice wasn’t soft or sweet, but it was relieving. He slowly turned his head to meet her, but looked at her face the entire time. “You act like you’ve never seen a naked girl before.”
Derek blushed as he shook his head, “I haven’t.” He spoke under his breath, barely audible. Kate sat back and let her mouth fall open in amazement. She stood up and grabbed Derek’s wrists, pulling him up in front of her. Derek stood two inches above Kate. Her eyes turned black as she took a step away and wrapped her arms around her back. She unhooked her bra, letting the straps fall down her arms until the garment hit the floor. Derek bit his bottom lip and felt the pressure rising again.
Kate stepped forward and grabbed Derek’s right hand and put it on her left breast. He swallowed the lump in throat as he took in her peaks and valleys. Her hand still holding his, she squeezed, prompting him to do the same. Kate bit her lip and let it slide through her teeth. Derek took his other hand and placed it on the lonely breast. He gave both of them a good squeeze and looked back to Kate. She was giving her all too familiar seductive smile. “I’m guessing you’ve never touched a girl before either.” She asked, and Derek shook his head. “So that means your a virgin.” Even though it wasn’t a question, he still nodded yes. “Have you ever done anything?” Derek looked back up again at her face and looked embarrassed for his lack of experience.
“My girlfriend would sometimes rub me through my pants. And we made out a lot, but that was all.” He looked down to the floor, ashamed. Kate took her hand under his chin and lifted it up. She looked into his eyes, studying him and then brought his face to her lips. They touched for a moment and then parted. Derek looked at her for a moment, then the wolf took over, like a primal instinct. He grabbed Kate’s head with both his hands, pulling it towards him, smashing his lips against hers. She responded by pulling his body into hers. She wrapped her arms around the boy and clawed at his skin, leaving trails.
Derek parted his lips to take a breath, but Kate took the opportunity and pushed her tongue through the opening. They explored each other’s mouths, entangling their tongues. She guided the boy to the couch and then broke from his lips. She pushed him down with a growl and stood, towering over him. She looked down to see his fully erect cock begging to escape. Kate licked her lips and eased herself down until her weight was balanced on the balls of her feet. She slid her hands slowly up his thighs until they reached his waistband. Her touch alone was enough to send him over the edge.
She tugged on the material, allowing the firm member to spring free. She smiled, pleased with what she saw. The boy’s jaw dropped at the feeling of freedom. She palmed his stomach and blew air on him as her hands made their way down the trail of hair. She wrapped her hand around his cock and pumped it twice. She used her thumb to swirl the precum that had beaded at his slit. She pumped him a few more times before she kissed his tip. She licked the spot she just kissed, swirling her tongue in circles around his sensitive spot. He threw his head back in pleasure and Kate took that moment to take him entirely into her mouth. The surprise caused his body to shake. He looked back at her and they kept eye contact as she pulled back slowly on the shaft. As she reached the head of his cock, she scraped him with her teeth, stirring the wolf and releasing a growl.
He wanted the feeling of her mouth again, so he grabbed the back of her head, urging her forward. Almost instantly she reached back and took his hand, slamming it on his knee. Derek was surprised, but found the dominance even more arousing. She chuckled at his response, sending vibrations up is cock and into his stomach where his release was hanging on by a thread. She bobbed on his cock a few more times before his body began to shudder, signaling his release. She leaned back and told him to cum on her tits. He obliged, standing up and pumping himself as spurts of warm seed shot onto her breasts. He milked out every last drop, riding his high until his muscles lost all strength and he fell back onto the couch.
Kate got up and went to the kitchen, she cleaned herself up and put her bra back on. Derek felt self-conscious about it, so decided to cover up as well. He pulled his boxers up from around his ankles and found his jeans on the floor. After he put his shirt on he sees Kate in the kitchen, leaning against the counter and drinking a beer. He goes in and stands next to her.
“It’s getting late. Don’t you have school tomorrow?” She asked without looking at him. He nodded yes and turned to face the beautiful woman.
“I’ll see you later then?” He smiled and leaned in for a kiss but his lips were met by Kate’s finger.
“I’ll call you.” She stepped past the insecure child and went to the bedroom, closing the door behind her. Unsure how to read the situation, Derek grabbed his coat from the chair and hesitantly left. He thought he must have done something wrong and wanted to fix it, but he didn’t want to seem childish. So he headed back home on his bike.
It was a little after 8PM when he got back, all the kids were asleep, but his mother was up. She was reclined on the couch, the spot he often found her in. As he entered the house, her eyes immediately flickered up to the boy. As he passed where she was, he saw a look on her he had never seen. Her face often wore confidence and composure, but this was an expression of shock and confusion. He mirrored the look to his mother.
Derek’s eyes widened as he realized why she must have made the face. His scent reeked of sex. Mortified, he turned and continued upstairs, thankful that his mother didn’t oppose. He jumped in the shower, washing away the events of the night, but the memories lingered in his mind. He replayed every part, trying to pinpoint what he did to make Kate so standoffish. Did he cum too fast? Did he touch her wrong? Was it when he put his hand behind her head? He got out of the shower and dried off. He pulled on a pair of clean boxers and plopped into bed. He wanted to keep analyzing what happened, but he was exhausted from all of it, so he passed out almost instantly.

Let’s Go Down to the Tennis Court 🍃
this one is for all my fellow tennis loving sluts. it’s au college fic as well cause it was the only way i could imagine this working. also bear w me on these strenuous positions lol. hope y’all like it:
A loud thud reverberated into the quiet night as David’s tennis racquet clattered across the asphalt.
“Motherfucker,” David snapped, enunciating the word with vicious frustration. He had accidentally thrown his racquet on his backswing. Now he was jogging to pick it up from across the court, angry after missing yet another chance to score.
“That makes the score thirty-love,” you called to him, a shade of mocking in your tone.
“No, not fair!” He called back across the net. He reached down for his racquet, gripping it tightly in his fist and shaking his head. “My hands slipped ‘cause they’re sweaty. I could’ve easily returned that if I had the chance. It’s not my fault I dropped my racquet!”
“Well, it’s not my fault your hands are so damn sweaty,” you responded. “The point stands. Don’t be such a sore loser.”
“Loser? Oh, you can bet your fucking ass I’m not losing this game,” he scoffed. “Fine, if that’s how you want to be. Whatever. I’m gonna demolish your lead in a second anyway. It’s no biggie, baby. Thirty to zero. Your serve.”
He picked up the tennis ball that had settled nearby his feet, lightly tossing it to you. You caught it and took your place behind the service line.
You cocked an eyebrow at him, “Ready?”
“Bring it,” he smirked, squatting at the back of the court and awaiting your volley.
You sized him up. He looked magnetic underneath the pale cast of the moonlight and the court’s fluorescents. He had on his basketball shorts, an old t-shirt from high school, and a pair of black Vans. His messy hair was pushed back in a bandana, which was sticking to the sweat on his forehead. His five o’clock shadow was dark against his flushed face, especially in the low lighting.
You hadn’t planned to be playing tennis after midnight today, but things rarely went to plan when David was involved.
He’d gotten off the late shift at work and texted you right away. You assumed it was just a booty call, but instead he was begging you to meet him at your college’s outdoor court. He told you he needed a little extra practice before his away-game that week and promised to make it up to you if you’d play against him tonight. You were too into him to refuse. Butterflies had been fluttering in your stomach as you threw on your workout clothes, laced your sneakers, and raced across the dark campus with your racquet in hand. It was late and the courts were far enough away from the dorm buildings that you two had some privacy. You loved getting alone time with him, since you were both so used to having to tiptoe around your roommates. Working around David’s crazy schedule didn’t really bother you.
You shook your head and refocused on the game. David licked his lips, leaning forward and concentrating on your movements.
You pulled your arm back, served the ball, and it landed in the opposing box. He ran forward after it bounced and struck the ball back toward you. The force of his hit sent it to the farthest corner of the court, and you couldn’t chase the ball fast enough to return it. You stumbled as you stretched out your racquet, missing the hit by a long shot.
“That’s what I’m fucking talking about,” he shouted. He held his arms open, racquet in hand, and raised his eyebrows at you. Cocky little shit. “Let’s go baby!”
“Big deal. You got one.”
“Oh wow, who’s a sore loser now?”
You tossed him the ball. He caught it and sauntered to the service line with a smug slowness. He tossed the ball up, rocked back on his heel, then pitched forward while his hand ripped through the air and smacked the ball with his racquet. He was overzealous though. It ruined his control. The ball sailed toward you, but his swing was too powerful. It arched over the white lines, smacked the ground, and ricocheted off the chain-link fence enclosing the court.
“Out,” you yelled triumphantly.
“Fuck no, it was not,” he shouted back.
“Yes! It was out of the service box by like a foot. Get over it Dobrik. It’s my serve again.”
“Son of a bitch,” he cursed under his breath. His face was flushed and he was spinning his racquet in his palm. He looked tense. Overwhelmed by the need to win. The veins in his arms and hands were tight against his skin. He adjusted his bandana, cocked his head side to side, and crouched at the back of the court in fervent anticipation. You let the moment build, rocking back and forth excessively on your heels.
“Just hit it already,” he shouted, genuine anger behind his voice.
“Why? So you can lose quicker?”
“Not a chance,” he hissed. You could feel the heat of his stare. A reckless desire to win engulfed him and his whole being was focused on you. Each time you shifted, he flinched in response. He was completely absorbed in your movement.
You rallied the ball back and forth over the net. One. Two. Three. Four. Five times, until you finally hit it out of his reach. He ran as fast as he could to get into position, but he missed his chance. The tennis ball kissed the interior court and bounced out of bounds.
“I win!” You yelled, tossing your hands up in the air. “Forty to fifteen. How’s it feel Dave?”
“Fuck you,” he muttered under his breath, almost too low for you to register.
That was his only response as he walked toward you, joining you on your side of the net. He was shaking his head, jaw clenched in frustration. You navigated, in step with David, toward the door in the chain link fence. You weren’t giving up on messing with him though. He was a pace behind you, and you relished in the tension. You turned your head over your shoulder and spoke flippantly.
“Aww babe, tennis can be hard for some people. Don’t take it personally,” you patronized him.
“Shut the fuck up,” he snapped. Pausing his stride, making you stop too. You were both halfway across the court now, just outside of the service boxes. “You know I’m better than you. I’m having an off day. I’ve been working all night and I’m tired. Let’s do this again tomorrow and I’ll kick your ass for real.”
“Really? Or are you just gonna bitch at me about how I’m not playing fair?”
“I wasn’t bitching,” he spat back.
“God, man up. You’re such a fucking pussy sometimes David,” you taunted. Those words finally pushed him over the edge. A dark fury ignited behind his eyes.
“Take that back,” he growled, stepping forward and colliding with your backside. One of his slender hands curled around your throat and the other arm wrapped around your waist. He held you in place, bending you against his body. You could feel his bicep flexed against your stomach. Immobilizing you.
“Why don’t you make me?” you whispered. His grip tightened.
“You couldn’t handle that,” he snarled in your ear.
“Is that a threat?” you asked. You could feel your knees weaken as he pressed up against you.
“Do you want it to be?” his voice was so low it sent a chill up your spine. He pressed his lips behind your ear and hummed, letting you buckle over slightly in his arms. You couldn’t think of what to say next, head swimming with desire and warmth spreading in between your legs. You just nodded and he took his cue.
His hands left your body momentarily, until they thrusted into the waistband of your athletic shorts and underwear. He pulled them down to your ankles, squatting while he gave you a command.
“On your knees,” he told you.
You complied, dropping down. He pressed his hand against your lower back, forcing you forward as his palm traced up your spine.
“Bend over,” he ordered. You felt silly as you bent forward, putting your elbows on the pavement and ass in the air. Your lips were inches off the court. You hoped that for the love of God no one was nearby on campus. No one needed to see you like this. The last thing you wanted was for some late night jogger to run by or UPD to be patrolling the area.
“I think you need to be taught a little lesson,” he said. His voice was husky, full of vitriol yet seductive. “What do you think?”
“Mmhmm,” you whined in agreement, the night air chilling against your exposed skin.
“I’m gonna take care of your little attitude problem,” he murmured as he drew back his hand.
The first slap was hard, his long fingers striking across your ass. He let his grip remain on you for a moment, digging his nails into the skin slightly.
“Tell me angel, what did you call me?” His hand hovered over you again. You whimpered, tense with anticipation of the next hit. Instead he rubbed gently over the tender skin, massaging the sore spot.
“I don’t know,” you lied.
“Wrong fucking answer,” he smacked your ass again. You cried out, pain and pleasure overlapping inside you.
“It’s okay baby,” he cooed. He smoothed his hand over the spot where he’d spanked you. “But don’t lie to me. I’ll ask again. What did you call me?”
“I called you a pussy.”
He laughed.
“Are you ready to take that back now?” his voice was gentle, but it was faux. You could hear the measured power in his tone. He was in control. His hand caressed your ass, navigating to your pussy and finding the entrance. You were soaked. He slipped his index and middle finger into you with ease. You inhaled sharply as his fingers rocked back and forth against your walls.
“Yes, I— I’m so sorry,” you moaned, short of breath. “Didn’t mean it. Please just… Please fuck me already.”
“Oh no baby. I can’t. I don’t think you’ve learned your lesson yet.”
“I have!” you were borderline shouting now. You hoped, in the back of your mind, that nobody could hear your voice carry across the dark campus.
He slapped your ass one more time. Hard. The sting was the worst one yet. You jolted forward, elbows giving out, and pressed your cheek against the tennis court. The pavement was too abrasive on your skin and you let out a yelp. In an instant David flipped you over, kneeling so that he could reach your face. You were laying on your back now, bare ass against the cold ground. He reached out and cradled your head, swiping a thumb across your cheek.
“Are you alright?” he asked. The anger was gone from his face. Replaced by concern, lips parted and eyes wild with worry.
“I’m okay,” you nodded. “It didn’t hurt that bad.” Your cheek was a bit tender from the friction of the asphalt, but you were fine. You were much more concerned with the sensation that was throbbing through your lower body. Your stomach was tight and you could feel yourself dripping onto the acrylic floor below you.
“Okay baby, I think you’ve had enough punishment for now,” he whispered. He readjusted his position, pulling your legs apart so he could kneel between them. “Now you get your reward.”
He placed both arms under your thighs, lifting you off the court slightly and ducking his head toward your cunt. You angled your arms vertically between your hips and the pavement, arching your back in a bridge and helping him prop you up. The position strained your muscles, but the pain dissolved the moment his lips touched you.
He kissed the top of your pubic bone, right above your slit, staring you down as he stuck his tongue out. He traced it downward, rolling it against you before closing his mouth and sucking your clit.
“Thank you baby,” you moaned, head falling back against the tennis court. You trembled as you propped yourself up and stared at the stars in the big night sky.
He ate your pussy with lavish, diligent care. Tracing circles on your clit with his tongue, moans flooding the sensitive nerves. He pulled back to spit on your open cunt and lick it off again. He would wait until your thighs clenched around him, back off, lick your dripping core, and retreat back to your clit. He shook his head back and forth against you, tongue following suit. You were doing all you could to keep yourself upright, thrusting your hips toward his mouth.
“I’m gonna cum —oh fuck. Fuck. Right there. I’m so close.”
The words fell off your lips as you felt your stomach tighten, your back bend harder toward him, and your lips go numb. He sucked on your clit as you reached your orgasm. The world fell away. All you cared about was his tongue against your body and the swells of ecstasy rocking through you. You knew you were crying out but you couldn’t hear yourself over the hum building in your ears. He let you ride it out against him before lowering you gently onto the ground, kissing your stomach while you laid back in a state of exhaustion.
He sat back on his knees, yanking your thighs apart even more and reaching into his own shorts. He stroked himself quickly, swallowing hard while he stared down at your waiting body.
“David… please,” were the only words you could muster. Your head was still swimming with pleasure, ass sore, and clit sensitive against the air.
He pulled his shorts down to his knees and released his cock. He was still jerking himself off as he moved. He climbed over you, trying to hold himself up with one hand and align his hard cock with the other. He was in missionary now with his tip pressed into your entrance. You pushed up to help facilitate him inside you. He groaned at the feeling as he eased into your pussy.
“You’re so fucking wet,” he moaned, pounding in and out of you.
“Mmhm, ‘cause of you baby,” you moaned. His cock twitched as you fluffled his ego. You wrapped your legs around his sides as he grinded his hips into you.
“Yeah?” He wanted more affirmation. Wanted more power.
“Yes,” you yelled as he thrust into you. You could feel your second orgasm approaching. “You fuck me better than anyone else. Faster baby, please.”
He complied, driven by your adoration. You reached your hand down to rub your clit, tensing as you touched the sensitive bud. As you clenched around him. A strangled cry escaped him.
“You’re gonna make me cum,” he cried out. You could tell he was tense, trying to plan his next move. There nothing to clean up with and he had no intention of cumming inside you.
“David,” you whispered sternly, “cum in my mouth.”
He bit his lip hard, stomach clenching as your words turned him on even more.
“Are you sure?” he hesitated.
“Absolutely.” You opened your mouth and stuck your tongue out flat for him.
He pulled out with a whimper, hand jerking himself off to maintain the sensation, and crawled up to align his dick with your lips. His legs straddled the sides of your face, while he continued to stroke himself right before your eyes. Just the head of his cock rested on your tongue. Your hot breath was radiating against his skin. It was too much for both of you.
Your eyes rolled back as you orgamsed again, breathing fast and trying to keep your mouth wide open for him. The world blurred momentarily, until you could finally open your eyes and stare up at him.
He was biting his lip hard, watching himself jerk off against your tongue. His lips tightened as he finally reached his peak and came into your mouth. His eyes were closed and his aim was off. You could feel cum dripping down your cheek as he doubled over toward you, both hands against the pavement now. You pulled your thumb over your cheek, scooping up whatever missed your mouth and swallowing it.
It took you both a few minutes to recover. He fell next to you on the court, wrapping his arms around you and leaning into your neck. He kissed you softly there.
“Maybe you should win more often,” he purred in your ear.

Olivia rolled her eyes and sighed, then pinched the bridge of her nose. How the hell did she let Liam talk her into this? “Come on Olivia, I think this is a great way to help all of our American guests feel welcome. Riley says Halloween is a big deal over there.” She remembered smiling sweetly at her king and friend. “Of course. What great timing that they would be here for Halloween.” Maxwell took the idea and ran with it. A Halloween costume party, complete with decorations and cheesy 1980s Halloween songs. She had to admit, she had never seen the palace ballroom quite like this. The lights were dim and fog machines created an eerie atmosphere. There were fake cobwebs strewn about and spiders and bats and ghosts dangled from the ceiling. Styrofoam grave stones were scattered around the room, along with life-sized figures of zombies, mummies and other creatures of the night. A table was set up in the back of the room with various Halloween-themed snacks and drinks. Yeah, Maxwell knocked this one out of the park.
But she couldn’t help feeling a little silly. She looked around at all her friends. They all looked ridiculous in these stupid costumes. Liam and Elizabeth were dressed as Frankenstein and his bride. Drake was dressed in a pair of overalls and a plaid shirt with a straw hat and Cassie had on a pair of jean short shorts with a button down shirt tied just above her belly button. Her hair was in pigtails and fake freckles were drawn on her face. Riley and Hana were both dressed as Gisha girls, their faces covered in white make up with red lips and blue eyeshadow and lots of mascara. Olivia groaned inwardly. None of the Americans had even arrived yet. They all looked ridiculous. She made her way to the restroom to check her costume one last time.
“At least I look good,” she thought as she admired her reflection. The sparkly red mini dress hugged her curves in all the right places. Her fiery hair fell in loose waves past her shoulders, parted on one side. She wore a headband with two devil’s horns poking out of the top of her head. Her earrings were dangly pitchforks. A devil’s tail attached to the back of her dress, just at her tailbone. With her shimmery black thigh-high stockings and red patent leather stilettos, she was sparkly all over. She emerged from the restroom and returned to the party to find the Americans had started to arrive.
They looked even more ridiculous. A nurse, a cop, an angel. A king and queen (so not clever). Someone was even wearing a t-shirt that said “This is my costume”. “Wow,” Olivia mumbled to herself under her breath as she made her way to the refreshment table. She poured herself some punch then turned to survey the crowd, looking for someone interesting to talk to. Suddenly a chill ran down her spine and the hairs stood up on the back of her neck. Someone was watching her. She spun around and collided with a tall man wearing a high-collared cape and black suit. He placed a hand on each of Olivia’s arms to steady her. Her breath hitched at the electric shock from his touch. She looked into his eyes, her mouth dropped open. She was dumbstruck by his gaze, his eyes were piercing yet gentle and full of lust. She swore there was a thin ring of red around the outer edge of his iris. She recovered her composure and took a deep breath. “Count Dracula, I presume?” She couldn’t help it. Her smirk turned into full-fledged laughter. He grinned, then began laughing along with her.
Olivia stopped short when she saw his fangs. “Wow! Those are the most realistic looking vampire fangs I’ve ever seen.” He chuckled and extended a hand to her. “I’ve been told that before, believe it or not. I’m Adrian. Adrian Raines.” Olivia’s mouth dropped open as she shook his hand. “Adrian Raines? You’re Adrian Raines, the CEO?” She shook her head, taken aback by the attraction she felt to this man. He raised an eyebrow at her. “You can call me Count Dracula if you prefer.” Olivia giggled flirtatiously. “It is a pleasure to meet you, Adrian. I am Olivia Nevrakis, Duchess of Lythikos.” He took her hand in his and brought it to his lips. He gently brushed his lips over each of her knuckles, causing her knees to tremble. His eyes remained locked on hers. “The pleasure is all mine.” His voice was low and growly and Olivia knew at that moment she was going to have this man.
Adrian broke their gaze as his head snapped up at a change of music. “Dance with me, Olivia?” She narrowed her eyes at him. “Are you sure you want to dance with the devil? You might get burned.” Her voice came out low and seductive, she surprised even herself. What had gotten into her? His face broke into a grin as his eyes locked onto hers and he grabbed her hand. She swore his eyes had that hint of red around the iris once again as he looked at her lustily. “I’ll take my chances. It’s worth the risk.” He led her to the dance floor and pulled her close, their bodies flush. A thin layer of sweat began to form on Olivia’s upper lip as they swayed together to the beat of the music.
They were lost in each other. Eyes and bodies locked together, oblivious to their surroundings. Olivia’s heart was racing as desire pooled in her core. She could not take her eyes off of him. She was mesmerized. He appeared to be in a trance himself, his eyes glowing a tad more red as he leaned close and brushed her hair off her shoulder, exposing her neck. He leaned down and kissed her neck, softly at first, then trailed his tongue and lightly scraped his fangs across the smoothness of her skin. A quiet moan escaped them both as Olivia trembled. She was weak with need for this man and didn’t know why or how he had this affect on her. She began to have thoughts of escaping this cheesy party with this sexy vampire. She closed her eyes and imagined him in her bed, underneath her, moans of ecstasy escaping them both.
Then her eyes opened wide as she felt him softly bite her neck. A loud female voice brought them back to reality. “Adrian! What are you doing?” A woman dressed as Cleopatra with long straight dark hair was suddenly next to them. She shot Olivia a sympathetic look then narrowed her eyes at Adrian. He took a step back from Olivia, his eyes widened when he saw a slight trickle of blood from a small puncture wound on her neck. “Oh my god, I’m so sorry. I-I don’t know what came over me.” He reached into his breast pocket and pressed his handkerchief lightly to her neck. “Olivia, this is my friend Kamilah Sayeed.” He smiled gratefully at her as he said, “Kamilah, this is Olivia Nevrakis, Duchess of Lythikos.” She smiled and extended a hand to Olivia. “Pleasure to meet you. Let me take you to the ladies room and we’ll get you cleaned up.”
Olivia began to emerge from her trance as Kamilah guided her toward the restroom. “Wha- what just happened?” Kamilah sighed as she led Olivia to a bench in the restroom and removed the handkerchief from her neck. “Adrian just got a little carried away is all.” Olivia’s eyes widened as Kamilah removed the handkerchief and she saw the blood. “Is that mine? Am I bleeding? What the hell?” She jumped up and rushed over to the mirror, checking the bite mark on her neck. “Oh my god. How the hell did he do that and I didn’t even feel it? All I felt was…” She felt her cheeks grow hot as she met Kamilah’s sympathetic stare. “Desire.”
Kamilah nodded knowingly. She took the handkerchief and ran part of it under cold water then pressed it to the wound. She closed her eyes and took a few deep breaths as Olivia watched the expression on her face. “What are you doing,” she questioned softly. Kamilah ignored her as she mumbled incoherently under her breath. After a few moments, her eyes opened and she smiled softly at Olivia. She removed the handkerchief from her neck. “There you go. All better.” Olivia stared at her reflection, dumbfounded. All traces of the mark were gone. “What the fuck? How did you do that?” She turned to face Kamilah and narrowed her eyes at her. “Who are you really? What are you?” She smiled and headed to the door. “You’ll find out eventually.” She walked out and left Olivia staring after her in confusion.
After a few moments, Olivia regained her composure and emerged from the restroom, her head held high. She froze as she caught sight of Adrian sitting on a bench across the hall, his head cradled in his hands. He looked up at the clicking of her heels on the marble floor. He stood up and approached her carefully. “Olivia, I am so very sorry.” His eyes searched hers apologetically. He reached up to stroke her cheek softly. She looked into his eyes, her stomach fluttered at his touch. All the questions she had were suddenly unimportant and she could hold out no longer. She crashed her lips onto his, forcing her tongue into his mouth. After a few minutes she pulled away abruptly and physically separated herself from him as she shook her head.
“No,” she whispered hoarsely. She narrowed her eyes at him suspiciously. “You are dangerous, Adrian Raines. I’m not sure what it is about you. But I should keep my distance.” His face fell as he didn’t even try to hide his disappointment. “It’s ok. I understand. Pleasure to meet you, Olivia.” He bowed to her slightly then turned to walk back into the ballroom. Olivia watched him silently, hot tears stinging her eyes as he walked away. She dabbed the corners of her eyes and took a few deep breaths. Then she returned to the party with her head held high and a smile on her face.

Divide
Bond of the Grey (Mother of Griffons pt 2) Ch 3: Divide
For those who may be following along. Caoilainn discussed her plans with Nathaniel.
9:32 Dragon
Tender hands hooded her eyes from where he paced behind her. Slow steps forward brought them to the door.
“No peeking, my love!” He exclaimed as he used a hand to open the entryway before resuming his mission to veil her sight. “All right, one more step. Be careful.”
They moved forward in unison. “Surprise!” Alistair yelled. His enthusiastic hands winged away, revealing the interior of a room. A small kitchen, a four-post bed, a table adorned with a bouquet of roses, and a separate bathing room.
The private cabin, tucked away outside of Redcliffe Village, sat near a secluded pond. Perfect for the reunited couple’s respite, the Hinterlands provided solitude and scenery.
“Maker,” Caoilainn gasped. Smiling, water pooling in her eyes as she gaped at the room before her.
“Now that you're done rebuilding the order, we can run away together,” Alistair walked into the room to study her. Excitement poured from every word. “That is, on occasion, until we go back the palace. It's like the best part of our Blight journeys. Except now we get a real bed... and walls! And of course, there's no Blight.”
He watched in hopeful expectation of her response to his gift.
“Alistair,” she murmured in awe. Her gaze traveling the room absorbed the tranquil space.
“Phew,” he made a playful wipe of his brow. “Thank the Maker. You haven't forgotten my name. I was worried there for a second. But really Caoilainn, do you like it?”
“It's perfect,” she mumbled, unable to find more suitable words.
Alistair inched closer to the dresser near the bed and pulled out the top drawer. Lingerie, something in which Caoilainn had expressed interest during a conversation with Leliana; he overheard and bought her robe before their coronation. Based on her adoration of the lacy attire, he quickly had an assistant purchase more items from Val Royeaux.
Alistair held up a lace camisole.
“And my favorite part. Now you're back, I get to see you in things like this more often.” He waggled his eyebrows.
She walked to him; seductive grin and a diligent stare locked. Her hand swept the camisole before she grabbed his shirt to pull him in. She kissed him; lips told of sultry plans for their month away from Denerim. After breaking away she walked to the bathroom and changed.
Weeks of lovemaking followed. In every part of the cabin, on every flat surface, and outside when the mood called for it. The royal couple explored the mountains during the day with no goal but to appreciate nature and each other’s company. When night fell, star-gazing gave opportunity to observe silence. Making their own meals, heating their own water, cleaning their own clothes brought independence not available in the palace.
Year after year, vacations at the cabin afforded much-needed privacy.
Great. Just great. Regret, influenced by inherent pining, motivated by indecisiveness. Some deep yearning compelled him to kiss Caoilainn. Her walls had come down, leaving him with a present and attentive partner. Festering indecision worsened, regardless of her attention or absence. His wife, he realized, was no longer the source of his discontent. It forced him to acknowledge his inner conflict as beyond her control; it heightened his frustration.
Now, Caoilainn likely waited in his tent for his return. Assuming her expectations for intimacy, and unable to deny the desire tugging his mind; craving the celebration of her life in the most private ways with her walls around him. Closeness, comfort created by connection seemed a welcome reprieve from conflict. But Alistair didn't want to look at her. It was too soon; he was too angry. The dichotomy drove his unpleasant disposition for the evening.
So he left, but only after he kissed her. Certain he confused her, annoyed with himself, he found a stream to bathe. Alistair used the solitude to think before returning, prepared to tell her to leave.
But when he arrived, he found his private camp empty.
Blackness surrounded. Expanding in all directions. A chill crawled up her spine. Caoilainn made to gasp, or yell, or scream, anything to break the deafening silence but no sound came out. Her body sweat despite the cold. The need to escape this void, this absence of anything, everything brought dread. She ran. Beads of moisture dripped down beneath her armor until running became falling. With no sense of direction of time, she plummeted, fast, to no end. Gripped by fear, her heart hammered.
Until the pain woke her, and she shot up. Gasping for air, the dream- no, nightmare- cut short by the stab in her chest where she had been hit by the disfigured enemy. The Red Templar’s spiked limb had driven into her body. Now healed, free of any wound, a strange swollen and unattractive scar marked the location to remind of her near-death. The persistent cough grew from this spot, she realized at the same time she noticed the metallic taste in her mouth.
Caoilainn went to find water to wash away the nightmare. The cool creek calmed her nerves; clean liquid brought to her face and neck rinsed sweat and terror. She made her way back to the tent, fearing sleep but needing rest before the continuation of the Inquisition march the next day.
She missed Alistair.
He had left her standing at the campfire. Mouth agape, Caoilainn watched Alistair walk until he disappeared from sight. Aloof steps carried him, joined by his cold shoulder. But the kiss belied his temper.
Perplexed, lost in the mixed messages from Alistair, she had wandered from his camp to the Wardens' encampment. Late in the night, the camp slept by the time she arrived; she stumbled into her tent. His wounds, deep and calling for healing by no clear remedy left Caoilainn without a plan, devoid of any strategy to solve their problems.
For now, she left him alone. Alistair's drastic differences did more to confuse than appreciate. Attempts of sleep led to the restlessness ridden with nightmares that no amount of clean water could cleanse from her mind.
She craved a warm body to keep her company and save her from the recurring bleak and lonely nightmare in vain. Commitment to Alistair made dalliances with Nathaniel unappealing, but the temptation of the lieutenant had rarely been about carnal need so much as a distraction from anxious patterns. Now tired from lack of sleep, her restless mind amplified the fear brought by nightmares. She craved the comfort of Alistair’s loving presence more than ever. It made the last image of his cold shoulder walking away poignantly discouraging.
What is this, anyway? Nathaniel pondered in the early morning hours. Stretched lazily on his bedroll, his lean and muscular frame relaxed. A lone leg hung out one side, appreciating the contrast of the cooler air against the warmth from underneath the blanket.
Warmth created by two. The young elf woman slept on him; her naked upper body draped over his chest, nestled under his arm. Languid repetitive movement of his hand stroked the bare skin of her toned back. His other hand appreciated the texture of her hair against his palm. The slumbering huntress had less bite than in her wakeful state.
He cared for her. Denial of this had been futile since he met her. But her appearance in his waking dream, the nightmare of Caoilainn’s death, disquieted him. It shook loose his rigid way of life: not reliant on anyone but himself, and uncommitted to anything but the Wardens. In his vision, Hale had challenged this approach, asked him to divulge his insecurities, and he suffered for it. The young woman’s reaction drove them apart. Yet, here she was, sleeping night after night in his tent.
Just another close friend, he concluded. The guilt springing from the parallels between this friendship and the affair with Caoilainn became harder to justify.
But in Caoilainn’s survival, he lost a friend; he had no evidence to believe otherwise.
Just as the thought floated through his mind, Caoilainn barged into Nathaniel’s tent. Fully armored, hair braided tighter than usual- a sign of an inflexible mood. The circles under her eyes did not diminish her energy, and her professionalism did not falter when Caoilainn’s gaze processed Hale in Nate’s bedroll.
“I need your time,” Caoilainn ordered, her hands planted firmly on her hips as she stared down at him. A judgmental brow raised as Hale shifted in her sleep, her head resting on Nate’s chest, turning to face the other direction. Caoilainn’s eyes rolled. “I’m so glad to see the Inquisitor’s cousin is being treated so well.”
The night before the battle, Caoilainn had addressed Nate's interest in Hale, a relative of the Inquisitor. Though Caoilainn discouraged relations among Wardens, she did not enforce rules. All knew the Commander’s husband, the King of Ferelden had himself been a Warden. But she banned cross-rank relations to protect the junior soldiers. An exception due to her own hypocrisy, Nate had more freedom. She trusted him. Caoilainn warned him not to harm the young woman though both knew if Nate hurt Hale, the huntress would ensure her own consequences.
“As always, my time is yours, Commander,” Nate offered with a smirk, ignoring her last comment. He didn’t move from his position under Hale and the rumble of his chest caused the young woman to rustle again. Hale made a whimpering groan of displeasure at her sleep being disturbed.
Caoilainn started, her tone sharp and annoyed, “Nate-”
“Caoilainn.” He replied with a riposte to her lack of decorum in using his nickname.
Muscles tightening in a quick and frustrated response, Caoilainn’s face scrunched as she sighed. She cleared her throat and reframed her statement. “Lieutenant, I’d like to discuss an urgent matter with you,” she said; her strained voice sounded and her forehead lifted, dramatizing the urgency of this topic. “In private.”
“Hm,” Nate grumbled; his brow arched. “I thought you called an end to our ‘private meetings,’ Commander. Whatever could the Mother of the Grey want with me before her army wakes?”
“Nathaniel!” Shocked, she rasped as her eyes grew larger. Long held agreement of the secrecy of the unprofessional aspects of their friendship opposed Nate’s blatant disrespect.
“Caoilainn,” his smug attitude continued. The huntress’s breathing changed. Deep breaths disrupted, transitioned to lighter inhales and exhales. Hale was awake, but she kept her eyes closed. It did not stop his reply to Caoilainn. “If for no one’s interest but your own, I suggest we keep our meetings outside of my tent.”
Damn it, Caoilainn cursed herself. He’s right. “While I appreciate your sound advice, Lieutenant, I suggest you lose the attitude.”
“Yes, Mother,” Nate replied, eyes squinting as his snarky grin widened.
Caoilainn rolled her eyes and scoffed. “I mean it. And fine, if you want to talk with your new pet here, so be it.” She caught her breath and took a quick moment to plan her words. “Nate, if I step down, I want you to succeed me.”
“Whoa, Caoilainn,” his head drew back at the impact of her statement. Brow furrowed, he held on to Hale tighter. “Is that whiny husband of yours putting you up to this? You don’t have to listen to him.”
“No, he’s not,” she gave an irritated huff and shook her head. “I’m trying to find a cure. I want to be free of the taint. I want to know if you’ll take my stead.”
“What? Since when?” He asked, regretting not meeting Caoilainn’s demand for a private conversation. The words falling from her mouth contradicted everything Nate knew of her dedication to the Wardens.
“Since I ended the Blight,” the sound of Caoilainn’s curt reply lingered in the heavy air of the small tent.
Nate paused to breathe, eyes darting as his mind sifted through memories of the last ten years. The pedestal on which he had placed Caoilainn as the ‘Mother of Griffons’ toppled as if the Caoilainn he thought he knew was a lie. He had no words.
“Nathaniel, I need to know,” Caoilainn stared, brow creased, urgency captured by her tone.
“No, Caoilainn,” Nate snapped, a low bark he caught and calmed before completing; his jaw clenched. Though he knew Hale wasn’t sleeping, she was supposed to be. “No, you don’t. Let’s talk about this when it’s relevant.”
“Damn it, Nate,” she hissed, eyes wide. “What has gotten into you? We’ll talk about it when I say. As long as I am Commander-”
“Then the answer is no,” his deep grumble interrupted her. Jaw dropped, Caoilainn did not reply. With no retort, she stared at Nate, brows furrowed. “If you want me to make that decision now, the answer is no, I will not take your stead.” His final statement left no room for argument. But Caoilainn’s look of apparent desperation brought a sympathetic sigh. “Fine. Give me some time to think about it, Commander.”
“Thank you, Lieutenant,” professionalism resumed. Caoilainn knew to cut her losses and hope for the best by giving Nate time to think. “We’ll depart at daybreak. Please make sure your guest is out before the camp wakes.”
Caoilainn nodded toward Hale and left Nathaniel’s tent.
Just as the tent flap closed, Hale pushed up off his chest and faced him. “The fuck’s she mean a cure?” She asked, her forehead scrunched in confusion.
Nate gave a lazy shake to his head, reflecting his exasperation with Caoilainn and his genuine disbelief. “To the Calling. She’s abandoning the Wardens to stay with him.” The honesty with which he spoke to Hale shocked even himself.
“But then she won’t be a Warden anymore,” Hale tried to follow the logic and her eyes widened as if she didn’t understand. “That’s why she wants you to be Commander, is it? Looks like you might get that promotion after all, old man.”
“I don’t know,” he grumbled, frowning both at her accurate reflection and her jab at his age. His free hand came to his forehead to press his fingers to his temples. “I don’t want to think about it.”
“Fine,” Hale shrugged. “Whatever you say. But,” she pulled Nate’s hand away from his forehead to permit eye contact. The strong-willed young woman glared at him, her threatening finger held between them. “I’m not yer fucking pet.”
A tired chuckle broke Nate’s frown, pleasantly surprised by Hale’s willingness to let the subject drop, and completely unsurprised by her crass remark. “Of course not, my lady,” he teased. “I would never attempt to domesticate you.”
“Good,” she lifted her chin and puffed her bare chest, “you better not.”
Smirking, Nate appreciated the brazen woman’s display. Her bloated confidence made him question if she fully understood the meaning of the word ‘domesticate.’
The young Dalish woman, orphaned in the Denerim Alienage at the age of 9, had admitted her lack of education to him on their journey through Orlais. But the thought didn’t last as Hale rediscovered her position of lounging against Nate’s chest. Her unhurried fingers traced wandering lines through his chest hair as her lids closed to nap before daybreak.
Nathaniel’s utter disappointment in the news from Caoilainn contended with the ease the huntress’s company provided.
Having forgone her efforts to sleep, discontent now jumbled by Nate’s belligerence. Caoilainn left his quarters to pack for the trip for the day. The world spinning around her, short breath caught on anxious whirlwinds of thoughts. Questioning who she trusted to take over the Wardens if not Nathaniel led her mind in circles pressuring her to delay the relinquishment of her title.
The distant worry of living without the Taint, no longer being connected to her army removed from her awareness. Occasional thoughts crept in with her other worries but left when her frustration with Nate and Alistair recurred.
Troubled by the combativeness of the two most important men in her life, Caoilainn found no clear strategy to tackle the challenges of communicating with them; waiting resulted as her only option.
Fatigue found her as the morning entered, and with severity. Poor sleep, exacerbated by quiet bouts of coughing prevented Caoilainn from active participation in the collapsing of the Grey Warden camp. None noticed her diminished energy or detached demeanor, and as the Wardens joined the rest of the Inquisition to repeat another day of marching, she hid her symptoms. Her coughs muffled by the cloth she brought to her mouth. The patterned waves of movements resumed as the formations continued north through the wider path of the lush forest.

The Pretty Boy & The Princess
Billy Hargrove x Reader
Tumblr media
Request: hi! i’d like a request please, for Billy Hargrove x reader. so: the reader is basically a female version of Billy, and they don’t know each other. they accidentally bump into each other one day, and the reader starts to like Billy a lot. and she’s really shy so he teases her and calls her princess and shit like that. thank you ❤️ - @kaitlinlexiexx
Warnings: Implied sexy time (I’m still a wimp and can’t bring myself to write smut, maybe one day).
A/N: Okay so I've set it a bit after high school and in California (cause let's face it that's the only place Billy would go after graduating!) Thanks so much for the request and really hope you like it!! ALSO I got so carried away that I feel I need to split it into two parts. So watch this space ;)
Y/N coated her full lips with her deep purple lipstick, giving a perfect cupids bow that she already knew would drive the boys crazy. Her faithful denim skinnies clung to her shapely legs and enhanced her amazing arse; even if she did say so herself. Paired with a simple t-shirt that teased a glimpse of her belly piercing she threw her leather jacket on and flicked her dark chocolate hair down her back.
Her heeled boots added a bit of height to her 5ft 3inch stature and she eyed herself in the full length mirror, shaking her hips to her 'getting ready' playlist. The sound of Def Leppard's 'Pour Some Sugar On Me' was cut short as she grabbed her purse and headed out of her apartment.
Her confidence irradiated from salon fresh hair down to each step she took, as she naturally swayed down the sidewalk to the music seeping out from each bar she passed.
Soon enough she spotted her friend Daisy already chatting up a poor unsuspecting fella outside their favourite bar.
Daisy had been her best friend since Y/N has wound her way down the West Coast to San Diego three years ago, as soon as she'd turned 18. They were two peas in a pod; Daisy was the blonde to her brunette, the sister and wing woman she'd never had. Daisy taught her everything she knew about being a strong, independent woman and using it to her advantage. When they were both on form the boys never knew what hit them, until they were given a cheeky kiss goodbye the morning after, but then the girls were gone.
"Hey trouble." Y/N greeted her with a sly smile.
"Y/N! I was wondering where you were. This is Daniel, he's from L.A and thinks I have model potential." Daisy winked at Y/N which let her know that Daisy knew it was utter bullshit. They had learnt the truths from the lines pretty quickly.
Y/N let out a giggle and looked back up at this Daniel threw her lashes.
"You know what Doll you could both be, I could get you a sweet deal. Two for the price of one." He added with a slimy smile.
"Think we'll pass. Thanks though, Doll." Y/N blew him a kiss dripping with sarcasm and linked Daisy's arm to head inside.
The bar was not hitting rush hour just yet, which was how the girls liked it; plenty of space to mill around and eye up whoever took their fancy. It was a bit rough around the edges, truly living up it’s name of The Lampshade, with a mass of them covering the ceiling in odd but wonderful colours, fringes and floral patterns. The atmosphere subtle and secretive from just a few glowing light bulbs.
The barman who knew Y/N and Daisy all too well had their usual drinks ready by the time they’d reached the bar. “Evening girls, how are we this evening?”
“Never better sweets, how are you? Any talent this evening?” Daisy gave Ali her signature bedroom eyes, knowing fine well he wasn’t interested in girls but she loved winding him up all the same.
“Thanks Ali.” Y/N said taking the drinks.
“I need to put a sign outside warning all men about you two vixens. You’re like bloody sirens.” He laughed.
“Maybe that’s a good idea babe, it’s getting pretty easy.” Daisy answered.
“Yeah we could do with a challenge.” Y/N winked at him before turning away, Daisy following her through the growing crowd.
After a few more drinks Daisy had spied her entertainment for the evening in the form of a tall, tanned, surfer guy. She played hard to get initially, as she always did, ignoring him and dancing with Y/N, but they were always close by. Y/N then broke away to allow Daisy to make her move, heading to the bar she had failed to be captured by anyone this evening, much to her dismay.
That was until he walked in.
It was like time stopped the second she saw him, he swaggered through the bar with his ‘don’t give a fuck’ attitude, a leather jacket shrouding his broad shoulders and skin tight jeans showing off his incredible ass. She shook sense back into herself and focused, game face on, she had to have him.
She ordered her usual gin and tonic from Ali, giving him a sly wink as she made sure she was right next to the new guy but not acknowledging him. She let her body do the work: leaning against the bar her booty was on point, with her arched back and chest forward, she knew the drill.
He of course glanced sideways as she appeared, for she was gorgeous. He felt the flicker of flames in his stomach; maybe tonight wasn’t going to be as dull as he originally thought.
Both underestimating the other, she turned to flash her million dollar smile at him as he placed ten dollars on the bar in front of her when Ali returned with her drink.
“Who am I thanking pretty boy?”
“No need to thank me Princess.” His voice low and husky as he turned towards to her, eyes not so subtly scanning the figure before him.
She rolled her eyes at the pet name as she sipped her drink, her eyes not leaving his. He knew he had her from that look alone, he always knew. He turned back to his whisky ignoring the increasing tension between the two of them.
She took a step closer to this mysterious boy and tried to catch his eye again, “What’s your name?” She repeated in a whisper.
“What’s it to you Princess?” He replied still not looking at her.
This was going to be a little harder than she thought.
“It’s Y/N, not Princess.” She raised her eyebrows as he finally glanced back at her abruptness in denying his name for her, normally girls loved it. He looked over her pouted mauve lips, the pink blush to her heated cheeks and challenging look in her dark eyes and realised she was not like the other girls.
“Billy.” He stated with a nod, returning the favour.
“Nice to meet you Billy, and thanks for the drink.” To his surprise she downed the drink before turning away and walking into the mass of bodies on the dance floor.
For the first time she wasn’t actually sure if he would follow; but he did. He took his time behind her, admiring her ass in her jeans as she had admired his before. She stopped suddenly to find him directly behind her, a smirk escaped her lips as she grabbed his jacket to pull his body against hers and started moving her hips to the beat. All Billy could do was pierce her with his icy gaze as he started to move in sync with her.
He ran his tongue over his bottom lip as he felt her hips roll against his, this was too easy for him.
“You wanna get out of here Princess?” He dipped his head to whisper seductively into her ear.
“Oh Billy, I’m anything but a Princess,”  It was her turn to slide her gaze across his sculptured body and she dared to run a finger from his bare chest down to where his shirt buttons were undone to his navel, “You’re gonna have to try harder than that.”
Her touch sent a shiver down his spine that he did not care to admit, and before she had a chance to walk away his fingers found her waist and he pulled her close once again. As they continued their movements his lips also found her neck.
“Getting there pretty boy.” She sighed at the feeling of his mouth finding her weak spots, his tongue setting her skin ablaze. Her hand wound into his hair gripping at his dirty blond locks which made him moan against her.
“We need to go, now.” He growled.
She saw the fire in his ice blue eyes and silently nodded. He grabbed her hand and pulled hard through the bodies to the exit, she didn’t even have time to search for Daisy in the crowd.
The cool night air sent a chill over the layer of sweat coating their skin. Her hand still clamped in his as he swiftly made his way down the street, after a few minutes when the bars faded into apartment blocks he stopped, pushed her against the closest wall and attached his lips to hers with such ferocity it took her breath away.
They were silently fighting for dominance, it was messy, it was passion, it was all teeth and tongue and he still couldn’t get enough of her.
Knowing he wanted her this bad set alight the fire in her lower abdomen, his body weight was leaning into her and yet she needed him to be closer.
Breathless, Billy broke the kiss, “My place is only a block away but I couldn’t wait.”
“Let’s go.” She whispered against his lips, and he once against took her hand with no hesitation.
The sunlight crept through unfamiliar blinds and her naked body was covered with foreign blankets. She’d only fallen asleep a couple of hours ago after three rounds of undeniable passion with Billy. She could still feel the sheer pleasure he’d given her over and over, and she could still hear the moans that she had compelled out of him.
She turned over to find him still sleeping; this was her chance.
She tiptoed around his room, getting dressed with each item of clothing she found, surprised they actually made it to the bedroom fully clothed. But before she could make her usual escape he woke.
“Where you think you’re going Princess?” He voice thick with sleep.
She shot around half dressed with her t-shirt in hand, “Come on, we both know how these things go right.” She pulled the shirt over her head, “And I’m not your Princess.”
He clambered out of bed and as she watched him walk towards her in his birthday suit she blushed. "Oh Princess you’re not blushing are you, not after last night?” He brushed her hair behind her ear and found those weak spots of hers again, latching his mouth onto her neck adding to the dark purple spots already present.
“Billy...” But she could barely get his name past her lips.
“You want me to stop baby just say so.”
A few moments past of Billy attacking her neck with his hands creeping under her top, and her body betrayed her as she melted into him, a moan escaping her parted lips.
“Wait, stop.” She surprised even herself as he straightened up, putting space between them with a questioning look in his eyes. “We both know how this goes Billy.” She repeated, more to convince herself.
“You know as well as I do Y/N, there’s no way this was a one time thing.”
She stepped away from him shaking her head at the floor, “Yeah you were good pretty boy, I’ll see you around.”
“Oh you definitely will Princess.” He shouted after her petite frame as it disappeared from his room. She left him with a smirk plastered across his face and a determination coursing through his veins.

Lethal Love Part Two~Spiderman-Imagine
PAIRING: Peter/Spider-Man x You
WORDS: 1467
WARNINGS: mention of knives, death
A/N: Sorry if this isn’t as exciting, i’m hoping to crank it up a notch in the next part (if you guys want it). Thanks for all the love on part one! Keep sending me suggestions and requests! love ya babes ;) enjoy!
Peter ran towards his closet, frantically pawing through his clothes in an attempt to find a tux for the New York Gala tonight. May had mentioned the Gala casually after hearing about it on the news when he had gotten home from school, and he instantly knew he had to go. He was almost positive you would be at such a huge gathering of New York’s wealthiest. He silently cursed himself as he realized he had ditched his tux on the night of homecoming last spring. He was running out of time, so he decided to do something risky and probably wrong, but it was for the greater good...right? He quickly stripped off his sweater and jeans, replacing it with the red and blue suit and adorned himself with his mask.
He stood on his fire escape, considering what he was about to do. Was it even worth it? Would he even be able to stop you if you even were at the gala? He had tried his hardest to stop you last time...well, admittedly not his hardest, since he did fall victim to your seduction and manipulation, but still, it was a valiant effort for any teenage boy. Though on your part, the kiss was all a plan to escape and handcuff him to a freaking pipe, (which he will never get over) he still couldn’t get you out of his head. It was driving him crazy. He initially started tracking you as a way to protect seemingly innocent lives, but he couldn’t deny that he a small bit of him just wanted to see you again. But now, he was out of leads and out of luck. You kept working your way through the worst of the rich and powerful leaders of New York and he was kept busy with purse snatchers and calculus homework. He missed the excitement of being with you, so he decided the risk was worth it. He held up his hand, shooting a web at a nearby building and jumped into the night.
He eventually made his way to the closest men’s clothing store and swung into the open door, causing a bigger commotion than he intended as he knocked racks of shirts onto the floor in his grand entrance,
“What’s going on here?” a man in a uniform walked over, who Peter presumed was the manager. He stared at the racks of clothes on the floor with a confused expression that was quickly replaced with shock as he spotted the superhero guiltily standing over the mess. “Spider-man!?”
“Uh, hey! I need your help.”
“You need...m-my help?” the manager stuttered, pointing to himself in surprise.
“Yes! I need a suit, and I need it fast.”
///
“Thank you,” you politely accepted the flute of champagne from a waiter who happened to be walking by. You knew in this mission that appearance was everything, so you fruitfully sipped at the alcohol he had granted you. Aside from calming your nerves, it would also help you blend in with the dozens of other people around, all laughing and drinking like they ruled the world, which they essentially did. You were surrounded by New York’s elite: the businessmen, the politicians, the heirs and heiresses to huge fortunes, all filling up the grand banquet hall in their finest gowns and suits. You were proud to say you fraternized well with the group, as your polished vernacular and red ball gown made you analogous to the prestigious crowd, at least from the outside. Though, in your mind, you were like a caged animal, scratching to find a way out of this situation. You just needed to do your job and get out, but that was proving to be very difficult as your target was nowhere to be found.
As the night went on, the knifes in the holster on your thigh seemed to grow colder and colder, sending chills down the skin underneath it. You were desperate to find your target and complete your mission, but in all your mingling with New York’s finest, you had yet to find him.
Your target was Harrison Fox, a cunning business man who had made his fortune at the expense of his childhood best friend and former partner, Lloyd Montgomery, who had contacted you into the mission. He claimed that Fox had stolen his idea for a new company then brandished the profit for himself, (as well as just being a cruel and unforgiving man) but it wasn’t your job to ask questions or judge. In this line of work there is no room for doubt.
Halfway through the event, you noticed a man in the corner of your eye, but not the one you had hoped to see. He was young, maybe eighteen at most, likely the son of a wealthy businessman, and he was staring at you. He had brown hair that was combed back neatly and a crisp black tux that seemed like it had just been taken off the mannequin. He walked over to you where you were chatting with the governor’s wife and politely interrupted.
“Excuse me, ma’am, may I interrupt for a quick dance?” He asked, his hand motioning towards the dancefloor where couples were slow dancing in the center of the banquet hall to a well-known jazz band.
“I’d be honored,” you turned away from him and excused yourself from the conversation you were in and walked toward the dancefloor with the man’s hand on your back guiding you. You knew you couldn’t draw suspicion towards yourself by declining the dance and there was a better view of the entrance from the dance floor, so you mentally adjusted your plan of action as you grabbed onto the man’s shoulder with your right hand and clasped his hand with your left and began to sway back and forth. His grip was strong and his hands were rough and callused, which only could be acquired from years of extreme use of them. This set off an alarm in your head; no son of anyone at this gala should have worked a day in their life.
You looked up at him. There was something very familiar about him, his voice, his lips. Your mind worked quickly, connecting all the loose ends and you stifled a gasp, your red lips parting as you gaped up at him. He looked down at you, noticing the look of surprise and realization on your face.
“I’m impressed,” he chuckled. I really didn’t think you’d figure it out that fast. You look great by the way. I like the red dress much better than the cat suit.” You narrowed your eyes.
“Why are you doing this? Aren’t there more pressing matters than me in all the crime of New York?” His eyebrows furrowed.
I-I don’t know. I just...feel the need to stop you.”
“Stop me? What, are you upset I bruised your precious ego?” You smirked at him, loving the red blush that crept over his cheeks.
     “It-It’s more than that!”
“I’m not a dangerous criminal, spidey,” you retorted, causing him to flinch at the nickname. I’m an employee. I’m taking out the bad guys, just like you. Trust me, I won’t pull a trigger unless I believe the world will be better off because of it.” He smirked down at you.
“Oh, sweetheart,” he leaned down and whispered in your ear, sending chills down your spine. “You made it very clear that I should never trust an assassin.” You were about to reply when your gaze shifted from his face to a man with salt and pepper hair entering the room through the large doorway behind your dance partner: your target. Peter looked down at you, noticing the darkening in your focused eyes.
“Hey,” he said softly, cupping your cheek with his hand. “Don’t do this...kill, I mean. This isn’t the right way to go about things, take it from me.” You gazed up into his warm brown eyes, seeing the innocence you once possessed. You hesitated for a moment, getting lost in his eyes, then remembered who you were and what you had to do. You did not take orders from anyone, especially a man who parades around in red and blue spandex.
“Yes,” you shot back. “I really do. And if you get in my way again, you’ll be next on my list.” You stepped away from him, your heels clicking on the marble floors, and followed after the man you came here for, leaving Peter standing in the middle of the dancefloor alone. He watched you leave, your red dress draping behind you like a cape. Peter stealthily followed you to where you had managed to get your target alone. Peter frowned, anger flooding into his mind. He knew he wasn’t done with you quite yet.
