Okayyy i wanna talk stuff about mk <3

Specifically the scene when marc saw his mom from a door and he said "it's just a memory" multiple times and just- never wanted to stop you know

It hits me so much the first time i saw it and it still hits me every time i had a rewatch holy shit

From just SEEING that person (even if IT IS literally just a memory) and he already looked down, eyes shut completely, and trembling as he said "it's just a memory"

One thing that truly crushed my heart is the fact that HE KNEW this is JUST A MEMORY, he didn't deny that "it's not real" like steven when he learned the truth about their mom. Marc knew this really happened and there was nothing he can do besides letting the memory played on

He never got time to discuss or let this fucking anger, grief, fear, pain, whatever feelings you called em go. He'll always burried em down as if "it doesn't matter" WHEN THEY ARE

And i really don't blame him or being mad at him for being like that because i.......get THIS

I, too burried those burdens inside me and never could or being able to speak about any of those cause back then i didn't have the support i needed. Once or twice times those "unfortunate event(s)" happened and it's okay right? just let them go and move on. But it just kept happening again and again and fucking again that it made me questioned my entire life

Why are these stuff kept on happening? Why me? Maybe god hated me so much? Or maybe.....i deserve it (?)

Not being able to process these traumatic experience properly will only do more harm in the future and that's exactly what happened to marc! (and me too tbh)

He's so used to ignore these burdened feelings that on a point when it's all TOO MUCH (his mom's shiva), he finally broke. Having the (probably) biggest breakdowns in his entire life. And you know what's worse? Having no one reaching out to him when he had that breakdown (not even steven cause he didn't even know about any of this)

So back to that scene, it's so fitting yet heartbreaking for marc to try letting it go so fast.

In case for anyone who’s reading this feel like you need to “be strong” in a situation that’s absolutely “out of control” and not your fault, it’s okay to not be okay about it. it’s okay to cry and let it all out, you’re def valid :,)

Jackson POV:

Today was a slow day, crap. Never say it's a slow day when your covering the ER.

Bailey - "Incoming trauma, multiple vehicle collision and cyclist vs vehicle multiple crush injuries everyone be ready!"

What did I tell you? Anyway I go to get a trauma gown on and y/n comes up next to me.

Y/n - "If there's any open breaks I call dibs." Jackson - "Hey! No fair, whoever gets to them first gets it, okay?" Y/n - "Pleaseee, I haven't been inside an OR for days and I think I'm going insane. I pissed off Derek by accident and now he's letting Lexie scrub in and not me." Jackson - "Fine." Y/n - "Thank you so much!"

She exclaimed and then walked off to go wait for the ambulance. See, if it was anyone else, I would've stood my ground but, it's not just anyone it's y/n/n (your nickname) and it's obvious to everyone but her that I like her. But, oh well, she'll get the hint eventually right?

I walked outside just as the first ambulance arrived.

Paramedic - "Male, 31, crush injuries to the chest and lower abdomen, broken right leg and lacerations to the upper left abdomen!"

I see y/n face light up at the mention of a broken limb, she wants to do ortho so, she's into that kinda stuff. It's adorable to say the least.

We wheel in the guy on the stretcher and transfer him to the gurney. We begin to look at the chest to see if there's any liquid in the cavity and thankfully there isn't but. the abdomen began to swell so we knew he had free flowing liquid in there so we went straight to the OR.

Time skip to when they're finished and the guy's in post-op:

Y/n POV:

I'm currently waiting for this guy we just operated on to wake up. Jackson is bedside me, we're leanig against the nurses station as his eyelids begin to flutter. We make a b-line for his room.

Guy - "Where am I?" Y/n - "Sir you're in the hospital. You werew involved in an accident involving 3 cars and yourself, you were on your bike. Other than your broken leg, which means we will need to keep you in here for another couple weeks to monitor it and so Dr. Torres can look you over and plan your recovery, your other injuries were fixed in the OR. You had some crush injuries that ruptured your spleen but, because we got in there quick we managed to repair it. The other injuries were superficial. For the sutures we will get Dr. Sloan to come in and check up on them ever other day to make sure it's all healing properly. Forgot to mention, Dr. Sloan is a plastic surgeon and Dr. Torres is an orthopaedic surgeon. Any question?" Guy - "Not about the medical stuff but I do have a question for you sweetheart." Y/n - "Go for it." Guy - "You free tonight? Such a pretty girl like you shouldn't be without a boyfriend." Y/n - "Oh, that's very sweet of you but unfortunately I'm on call tonight." Guy - "That's fine, just come visit me sweetheart. A young thing like you could make any man feel better." Y/n - "We'll see, maybe I'll come see you maybe I won't. Goodbye sir." Guy - "Bye sweetheart!"

I walked out of the room with Jackson close behind me. That man is very flattering but kinda creepy. I'm going to put away his chart when Jackson stopped me.

Jackson - "Hey, what the hell was that?" Y/n - "What do you mean?" Jackson - "Don't bullshit me y/n. In there with the patient." Y/n - "Oh my god Jackson, I was reciprocating emotions it's basic patient care." Jackson - "Yeah comforting them and sharing concerns. Not flirting with them!" Y/n - "Okay wh- Jackson.." My voice calmed down a lot at this point and I looked him directly in his mesmerising green eyes. Jackson - "What?!" Y/n - "You're jealous." At this point I was giggling at him. His face contorted into a shocked almost offended face but I didn't care because the blush that covered his face made it obvious that I was right. Jackson - "Wha-what, no I am not." Y/n - "Yeah you are don't deny it." Jackson - "I am not." Y/n - "Yeah you areeee"

At this point he had accepted defeat and took the chart out my hand and grabbed my hand. I didn't question his actions and just followed him like a lost puppy. We came to a stop outside an on-call room and he opened the door and pushed me inside.

Y/n - "Jackson wha-"

I was cut off by his lips on mine. His arms snaked their way around my waist and pulled me close. My hands were around his neck as his soft lips moved against mine. He turned us around and gently pushed me against the door and pulled away briefly to speak.

Jackson - "I was jealous. Okay? I really like you y/n/n." I tried to speak but he cut me off. "Don't say anything unless you want me to stop."

He pulled me back in and locked the door. He walked me over to one of the beds and gently laid me down.

Let's just say I didn't get to go back to the patients room that night.

Lets say yall have been together for about 8-9 ish months. You both have opened up about your lives, but ofc not everything

Your past rises to the surface, whatever it is: its a bad memory and you break down

Im gonna say you found smth triggering while you scrolled through your cell phone

You were taking a sip of water when it happened and it caused your hand to slip

glass broken everywhere; the sound was loud and made your mind fuzzy

You couldnt move

"Dearest, i'm homeeeee🕺🏻🕺🏻🕺🏻"

anyway, his eyes widen. there you are on the brink of collapse

your knees are physically trembling, eyes watering and foggy

you couldnt even process dazai being there, did you even know he was there?

"y/n.. dont. move. I'll pick up the glass"

he needs to make your surroundings are safe before he can assess what the hell actually happened here

you answer him with a whimper, still trembling

he quickly sweeps the glass closest to you so he can grab your hand. you flinch but allow the touch otherwise so he can set you down

youre sitting on the floor while he picks up the rest of the glass

once he tosses the glass out into the bin, you couldnt hold it in as you started bawling

dazai quickly comes to you, he kneels in front of you trying to get your attention

thankfully you look at him and reach for him

he gently manuvers you onto his lap and allows you to curl into him

"o-osamu, I cant anymore, it.. it hurts"

the detecrive wont say anything more than a few short comforting whisperings and shushing you while he plays with your hair and gives your head a few kisses

he'll wait to move from the floor when you can breathe, and if you need a little guidance, he will see to it

"y/n, look at the palm of my hand. When we breathe in, you're gonna slowly trace all my fingers starting with my thumb, okay? You're gonna do the same thing when we breathe out. Go from the middle of my palm to the thumb, alllll the way to my pinky, can my lovely do that? here, lets do it together."

And slowly you inhale, you tickle his fingers when you trace the base of each of them up to his fingertips, then go back down to meet the following finger. You make your way back to his thumb and you exhale as you repeat the action all over again.

he'll pick your body up against his and he'll cuddle you in bed until you fall asleep

"my sweet girl, you did so well. I love you, have sweet dreams. I'll join you soon."

And when you wake up, you'll be met with your fav take out and a new spft blanket that was just in the dryer

your shoulders look stiff, you have bags under your eyes, you look shaky, but not sick?

he put on his glasses and it all literally clicked

"ohh so thats what it is"

"uh ranpo who are you talking to?"

"not right now astushi, youll understand when youre older"

if yall are still at work when he gets the time to start a conversation with you, he will give you a snack of your choosing

and yes he will pout

"huh you want that one?! ahh, okay.."

and then youll quickly excuse yourself to do more work to rid yourself of your negative thoughts

youll drive ranpo and yourself home. you slump on the couch, your eyes watering. You are so tired

Ranpo will sit next to you and harshly pull you into his side to kiss your head before laying your head on his lap

"I dont like it when your sad, and I'm not good with nice words, but I can listen so spit it out so I can make you feel better."

he'll hold you all night, however you'd like

and if you rant thats up to you

just know that he is right there and you're in this together♥︎

he's a sweet lil angel and will do ANYTHING to make you smile

"uhm y/n, i'll turn into a tiger for you"

"hey y/n just wanted to let you know that I did the dishes!"

"hey sweetie! do you wanna cuddle, maybe?"

^his love language is def shown through actions so he will either hold you or help you through most of your chores

it all started at the beginningnof the week, you were not feeling it

it was rainy and you were exhausted: it was only monday

you both had off work and it was pouring out, so you were stuck at home

atsushi said he would start w the chores but you didnt think he meant yours too

the whole apartment was tidy and he was even making you your fav sandwhich

he even turned on your fav show before giving you lunch

he sat next to you and pulled your feet into his lap

when he was done your sandwich, he massaged your feet and ankles and even kissed your toes to make you laugh

dw, you were wearing socks

affer eating and your episode finished, atsushi decided to pull out your record player and play your fav songs

*imagine enchanted by ts playing while he spun you in the living room🥺

"ahh, atsu! hahah"

it was.. enchanting to meet you

"oh princess, you make me wonder what I did just to have you in my life"

"I love you so much, let me take care of you today, and everyday after that."

he rlly simps for you, hard

astushi will spoil you the rest of the day with lingering soft touches, give you an early present that he was saving for your birthday, make dinner too

he would run you a bath and let you borrow his favorite hoodie and blush when you smell him on it

youre so tiny in his hoodies😭😭 he absolutely adores it

and he hopes that he can forever make you smile

"I never want to be the reason to make you cry, rest now. I'll protect you tonight. Every night, I promise" *kiss
