Gosh, I'm so in love with Castle (the show & the man) but the fact that sometimes I make up better endings for cases than the writers is beginning to frustrate me

#( ooc. )#it's like they lay out clues for a breathtaking plot-twisting reveal of the perpetrator #but then give up near the end and make something far less interesting up instead #like the 100th episode #it would've been so much better if the victim actually faked her death with the help of her clients they suspected to escape her husband #God knows she had the money and the connections for this #and she would've been alive #and it would be mirroring the birthday surprise to the letter because then the crime never happened - it was all *staged*#instead of a very weak connection between these two plotlines that they went for eventually #...#sorry for the rambling #anyway I might add Castle muses soon

So I don’t have time to make a big long involved post about this, because I’m literally hiding in the bathroom at work for a couple of minutes to share this. But I’m listening to Stuff You Missed In History Class and they did an episode in 2009 about Stonewall, and I just learned something that explains everything.

“What started the riots? What was so special about that night of all nights?”

IT WAS THE DAY OF JUDY GARLAND’S FUNERAL.

Judy Garland….there is no way to explain why she was such an icon to the queer community because we live in a world so far removed. She said “I love my gay fans” and that was a statement so revolutionary (and potentially career-destroying) that even today, The Wizard of Oz is considered “a gay film” by some queer elders. It was just shown in theatres to celebrate Garland’s 100th birthday and the promotional email literally used the phrase “are you a Friend of Dorothy?” in the subject line. If you don’t know this part of your queer history: in the 1940s, that was a code phrase. “Yes” meant the person was queer and you could speak openly. Anything else meant it was dangerous to be out to that person. Judy (and Liza Minnelli) were THE queer icons of the day. They were our royalty.

It’s no wonder that was the day it all came to a head. The grief and loss so many people there were feeling, even if they weren’t speaking openly about it because of what the queer community looked like at the time, had to be absolutely palpable.

I would be willing to bet cash that we owe the entire modern queer rights movement to Judy Garland. She wasn’t the flame, but she was the match that lit it.

People are freaking the fuck out about episode 100, Buck, Bothered, Bewildered, but I'm more focused on episode 101, You Don't Know Me

Is episode 100 going to be a musical? My clown makeup says yes, for funsies

HOWEVER!!!!

No matter what happens in episode 100, episode 101 is gonna air a week later and I think that's what's gonna break us

Episode 101 is the episode that we're gonna have to focus on for two whole weeks instead of the usual one. Episode 101 is the episode that's gonna end on a cliffhanger and we're just gonna have to deal with it. Episode 101 is the episode that'll address whatever happened in episode 100, but leave us screaming about whatever happened in the last 5 minutes that won't get addressed right away because the shows taking a mid-season break. Episode 101 is the episode that's titled, "You Don't Know Me" that's gonna air after the show has its big 100th musical extravaganza. EPISODE 101 IS THE LAST 911 CONTENT WE ARE GOING TO GET FOR TWO. WHOLE. WEEKS!!!

I'm looking at posts on here and on Twitter and I don't think people realize that!

Everyone's so focused on "OMG BUCK TITLE EPISODE AND ITS NAMED AFTER A SONG THATS TALKING ABOUT FALLING IN LOVE HOLY SHIT BUDDIE CANON SEASON 7!!!!" Which, I mean, same... 😅😅😅🤡🤡🤡 but they're not seeing the big picture!

We're gonna get to see whatever happens next in episode 101, but I don't want people to be completely blindsided when episode 101 ends and they realize they're gonna be forced to sit and process whatever the fuck they just saw. For, again,

This piece features events, press, and PR from the summer of 2017. You will see competing narratives - the Daily Mail leaking Meghan's dossier drip by drip by drip and Meghan's team counterattacking with engagement rumors.

There are two main stories in the royal sphere during this time that we know Meghan is paying attention to, as these most definitely shape her understanding of what it means to be royal: royals taking glamorous summer vacations and daily coverage of Diana's life, the impact of her death, and her lasting legacy to the world.

July 1, 2017: The Cambridges, Harry, and the Spencers attend a private memorial service at the Spencers' Althorp estate for Diana. Meghan's relationship history is published and it's revealed she left Cory for Harry.

July 2, 2017: Charles plans to host a 70th birthday party for Camilla and the Express speculates whether Harry will bring Meghan with him. Additionally, the broadcast network that airs Suits in Britain drops the series from its slate and won't show its upcoming seventh season.

July 3, 2017: Kensington Palace announces that the Cambridges will visit Poland and Germany.

July 4, 2017: Kensington Palace confirms that Harry will have a role in the upcoming state visit by King Felipe and Queen Letizia. Meghan teases whether she will attend Wimbledon 2017. Harry's scandals are revisited.

July 5, 2017: Meghan's appearance at the 2016 Create & Cultivate conference resurfaces, as do her comments from The Tig about being biracial.

July 6, 2017: Meghan does another airport pap walk as returns to Toronto after spending 10 days in London with Harry.

July 8, 2017: Meghan leaks that she has tried on wedding dresses with friends and is beginning to think about a wedding at Westminster Abbey. The Daily Mail publishes all about Meghan's first marriage and the divorce. Katie Nicholl publishes several scoops: 1) Meghan keeps clothes at Nottingham Cottage, 2) Meghan is so familiar to KP security and the RPOs that she doesn't need a security pass to enter, 3) Harry wants to be engaged by his birthday, and 4) they want to debut Meghan as his fiancee at Toronto Invictus Games.

July 9, 2017: Harry attends a music festival and is photographed getting close to a blonde woman. At the same time, there is fast-spreading gossip that Camilla disapproves of the relationship. Meghan gets worried: she hints about the engagement to get Harry back in line and tries to assuage concerns about her marital history by explaining that being married to Harry will be different than when she was married to Trevor. Meghan merches a baseball cap.

July 10, 2017: Meghan doesn't like the comparisons to Pippa Middleton anymore (which she began, mind you) and says they look nothing alike. It's announced that Trevor is thinking about writing a book about his relationship with Meghan, sparking another round of rumors that the marriage broke down when Meghan cheated on Trevor with a Suits castmate.

July 11, 2017: It's revealed that Meghan was still dating Cory when she began dating Harry.

July 12, 2017: Meghan attends the Suits party to celebrate taping their 100th episode. Meghan's team puts out a story that she and Harry are so alike because Meghan's uncle is the leader of the Eastern Orthodox Catholic Church, just like Harry's grandmother is the leader of the Church of England. Rita Ora flirts with Harry and Meghan gets mad, saying she doesn't want to marry Harry.

July 13, 2017: The Spanish State Visit begins, with Harry accompanying King Felipe and Queen Letizia to Westminster Abbey and attending the state banquet (where he sits next to Rose Cholmondeley...iykyk). Meghan's "one tear, left eye, go" interview resurfaces and she tries to be a beauty guru again. Suits Season 7 premieres in the U.S.. Meghan practically calls Kate a Stepford Wife.

July 14, 2017: Meghan gets more private protection and increases her security team.

July 16, 2017: A friend of Harry says they're engaged and everyone is looking forward to the after-party more than the wedding. Meghan leaks that Harry will quit the royal family for her and her "don't give it five minutes if you're not going to give it five years" interview resurfaces. Harry wins his IPSO privacy case against The Mail for publishing paparazzi photographs taken in Jamaica.

July 17, 2017: Meghan sets up Chelsy to be Harry's Camilla in their marriage.

July 18, 2017: Meghan tries to be a yoga influencer again. Meghan also brings back her gender equality platform and reminds us about her soap commercial.

July 19, 2017:

Pictures from Meghan's childhood are published, including a photograph saying/showing she won Homecoming Queen in high school (US high school is ages 14 - 18). Speculation begins immediately that Meghan has had cosmetic surgery to minimize her black traits and Markle feeatures, including chemical treatments for her hair.

Meghan hints that Harry will propose on her birthday and that they will elope to marry.

Meghan leaks that she's worth $5 million.

July 20, 2017: Meghan says Harry will propose soon and they have no intentions of eloping.

July 22, 2017: Meghan's ice bucket challenge video resurfaces, causing speculation over how she knows Rory McIlroy and what the nature of their relationship is.

July 24, 2017: Meghan promotes Suits and hints that she wants IVF twins as soon as possible after the wedding. (The IVF twins story is important for two reasons. One, because in the first picture taken of Meghan after the pregnancy is announced, she is carrying two purple binders. We know she likes to virtue signal, so many people believe this is her hinting that they are expecting boy-girl twins. Second, because while she ended up having a boy, the decor and theme for her February baby shower indicated she was expecting a girl.)

July 25, 2017: Prince Albert of Monaco (son of Grace Kelly) gives advice to Meghan and Harry and British Vogue writes about Meghan and her fashion.

July 26, 2017: Meghan claps back against the rumors of plastic surgery by getting medical experts to say she hasn't had any work done.

July 27, 2017: Meghan teases an engagement in the Express, who recaps the relationship to date.

July 28, 2017: Meghan merches Rachel Zane's wardrobe. She's spotted in London, supposedly with Doria (though Doria is never seen). Meghan's insecurity over Harry's past causes problems for him.

July 29, 2017: An open letter is published to William and Kate, urging them not to have a third child. This comes after playful comments by the pair while on tour in Poland and Germany earlier in the month when they were gifted baby items by fans on walkabout.

July 31, 2017:

Christopher Geidt is forced out retires and is replaced by Charles's favorite, Edward Young.

Kate hires Catherine Quinn as her new private secretary.

Meghan is worried a Cambridge baby is going to steal her thunder and leaks that the Cambridges won't have any more children. After Kate's third pregnancy is announced and this article resurfaces, speculation begins over what Meghan knew (because Harry leaked like a sieve to her).

William and Catherine are in Belgium for the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Passchendaele.

Lainey gossips that the recent shakeups in palace household staff has to do with Charles's discomfort with William and Harry operating independently of him. She also confirms for the first time that Charles was angry with the KP love shield because it overshadowed his work in the Middle East.

We'll be getting the following new functions:

Part 1 (Beginning 10 Mar):

Card Limit Break Bonus - As you limit break the cards, you'll gain additional bonuses.

First Limit Break (SSR only): Unlock furniture recipe for a Photo of the card. There are two: Pre- and Post-Groovy. (Min Room Rank of 8 required; Card must be groovified for Post-Groovy Photo) Card Character can interact with the Post-Groovy Photo.

Second Limit Break: Spare Key. Use this to keep a specific card character in your guest room. (Min Room Rank of 12 required; Cannot invite different outfits of the same character)

Third Limit Break (SSR only): Unlock Magic 3. Select two of the three magic options to use in battles.

Fourth Limit Break: HP/ATK Increase, Obtain a new title, and (SSR Only) Card Icon Frame change

Special Lessons / Skip Class - Special Lessons will give more Card Level EXP than usual and can be done 10 times a day. All Other Lessons (History/Flight/Alchemy) will have a Skip Function available and can be skipped 10 times a day.

Guarantee of Rate Up Character on 200th Summon - 200th Summon (2nd Pity) will guarantee the Showcase Rate Up card. In the case of the Permanent Showcase, or a Birthday Showcase (no Rate Up, or only one SSR), the guarantee is still at the 100th Summon. In the case of multiple Rate Ups in one Showcase, the 200th Guaranteed summon will be a random card out of the group of Rate Ups.

Other Changes

The shop layout will change to accommodate descriptions for cards and furniture.

Theme Stickers will be available in the Room Medal Shop.

The wall decoration layout will change to allow wall decorations to be higher or lower.

On the card status screen, the max stats (MLB and Max Friendship) and max magic stats can be seen.

Part 2 (Beginning 16 Mar):

Visiting friends' guest rooms - Visit a friend's guest room and leave a "like." Leaving a "like" will reward you with room medals. "Likes" can be given up to 5 times a day. There will be an option to visit a random guest room.

Change the Guest Room Background Music - BGM can be purchased in the Guest Room BGM Shop. Min Room Rank of 10 required. New BGM may be unlocked as the story is cleared.

Guest Room Character Lines Voiced - The character lines that are spoken during Idle, Invites, etc., will now be voiced.

Other Changes

An increase in drop rates of SSR crystals in the Collect Battles.

Some Collect Battles' difficulties will be adjusted.

The combination of possible reward drops from Collect Battles will be adjusted.

Part 3 (Beginning 18 Mar):

New Cumulative Missions - Missions regarding cards/lessons/exams will be added to the Missions tab.

Added Titles - A new title will be available when 10 cards of a character has been collected.

Read 「3rd Anniversary」 Event Story Episode 2

The Tuna Can [2023] is an event drop and you can get 1, 2 or 5 randomly by completing lessons (History, Flying or Alchemy). You can see how many you have on the bottom of the Event Page. Left is how many you have right now (so if you spent some, the number is lower), right is how many you have collected until now (this is what you need to make Grim permanent).

To quickly go to Grim’s lessons from the event page, click on the Lesson button on the Main Event page or go all the way to the right on the Lesson Page, right after Diasomnia.

When you click on Grim’s card to level him up, you’ll get a message reminding you that he isn’t permanent yet, so items and madol spent on him will also disappear if you don’t make him permanent in time. Just click the black button to proceed.

One of the missions is to level up one of Grim’s magic to Lv.5 and we suggest you start with his M1 if only to complete the missions faster, because you use Tuna Cans to level up magic and the amount needed for each magic is different. (To level up magic, just click on the 4th tab: 魔法Lv)

Stamp Card Info

On the bottom left of the Event Page you’ll see a Stamp Icon, click there and complete some missions for rewards.

The event ends on the 24th, but the First Stamp Card only goes until the 16th 14:59 (JST), so pay attention to the time limit.

The Second Stamp Card goes until the 24th 14:59 (JST)

Mizuki's cameo in the new Akuma-kun

Akuma-kun is a manga series created by Shigeru Mizuki, about a child prodigy who appears every 10000 years and is always nicknamed Akuma-kun. He wants to create a world where all human beings can live happily and believes harnessing the power of demons is needed to achieve that goal.

In November 2023, a new Akuma-kun series was released worldwide through Netflix. In episode 10, Akuma-kun has a short meeting with a man named Mizuki. You can tell that this is supposed to be GeGeGe no Nazo's version of Mizuki from the scar on his face (a design choice that sets him apart from other Mizuki) and the comment about "my best friend's son" (Medama Oyaji and Mizuki has never been that close outside of GeGeGe no Nazo). You could also safely assume this not meant to be Shigeru Mizuki because his design look nothing like the man.

So what to make of this? Honestly I'm not sure. Since this Akuma-kun series and GeGeGe no Nazo are both projects to celebrate Shigeru Mizuki's 100th birthday, maybe this is just a fun cameo, a little easter egg for people who have watched both. At the very least, we could assume this means Mizuki is still alive in the present day in the Kitaro verse too.

"The Telescope was the first dramatic* BoJack episode"

Say Anything is an episode about a woman who has just experienced her 100th heartbreak from the man she has been in love with for 7 years, constantly finding herself cleaning up the mess he leaves, and continuing to find herself doing this as she still cares about him so so much, and no matter how hard she tries to recover, she always without fail gets sucked back into it. It is the FIRST** episode of the show in which BoJack's actions are shown to have genuinely serious and negative consequences for the people around him, while also setting up what is perhaps the most complicated relationship in the entire show. It is an episode about a woman who, even outside of her lover, works so hard and always gets ignored, to the point where the episode ends with her, alone, recieving a reminder for a birthday that no one will celebrate. It is the first episode to show that there is more to this universe than BoJack sees, and it fully establishes the ensemble cast as having their own lives outside of him.

*"Dramatic" here refers to the genre of storytelling, as opposed to the concept of melodrama.

**Zoes and Zeldas also dealt with this, but with a character who has previously been established as comic relief, and who has been treated much lighter by the narrative.

Plans are now complete for a very special Dark Shadows Remembrance Weekend to celebrate the life of Lara Parker, who played Angelique, and pay tribute to the 100th birthday of Jonathan Frid, who played Barnabas Collins. Dark Shadows was an American gothic soap opera that aired weekdays on the ABC television network, from June 27, 1966, to April 2, 1971. The show depicted the lives of the wealthy Collins family of Collinsport, Maine, where a series of supernatural occurrences take place.

Dark Shadows became popular when vampire Barnabas Collins played by actor Jonathan Frid was introduced ten months into its run. hii i’m new to the smosh fandom and i was wondering what are some like Must See videos i need to watch cause they are the only thing i’ve been watching for like three days straight

oh my god............. to have this task placed before me is an honor and yet. so many to choose from so little time. im sorry im just throwing everything at you at once i tried to narrow it down and failed MISERABLY so here you go:

i would say tntl is a must-see series in general, but it's a LOT of episodes, so i think the two best episodes to see are the 100th episode and the first episode including anthony. these are both heavy hitters, extremely funny, i cannot rec either of them enough

if you're in for a longer video, the cheating reddit stories is everything to me and the best example of this series i love so much. amanda and angela have such good chemistry and shayne is so good in this one, not to mention the stories.... oh my god im getting emotional just thinking about it.

im not really the person to go to for sketches (im more of a smosh pit/games person) BUT i will say the new food battle is incredible if you're into the sketches. no need to see the prior food battles (i haven't seen them in Years), all fun, just vibes

all the try not to win videos are so funny to me like the peak of unscripted content imo, but my favorites are don't win mario party gets physical and somehow we got WORSE which was just released. both contain shenanigans and violence and both make me laugh SO hard i bust a gut every time

the two truths and a lie series is everything to me, and specifically, if you can endure awkwardness and suffering, ian and pam's OR if you want like a fun silly goofy time, ian and anthony's. of course if you're here on my blog i can also rec spencer and tommy's!

and finally im gonna throw in the funeral roasts here. they're all incredible truly but im dropping damien's funeral roast bc i think it's the best example of the series while still playing inside baseball (my other faves are try guys and mythical so i decided not to include them)

The Three Caballeros Together Again! - The Legend of The Three Caballeros

After a long time, I decided to draw my favorite characters again, the Three Caballeros. Unfortunately, although belated, I certainly want a belated birthday for Jose Carioca (who celebrates on August 24th) and a belated National Day of Brazil (September 7th) and Mexico (September 16th), but maybe at another time (next year) I will pay more attention to this.

After a long time, yes, I drew my favorite Caballeros again. I drew Donald Duck, Jose Carioca (Ze Carioca) and Panchito Pistoles (Panchito Romero Miguel Francisco Quintero Gonzalez III) hugging and together again and took it from a scene from my favorite series, The Legend of The Three Caballeros and from the second episode, "Labyrinth and Repeat". Anyone who has seen it, should watch that series, it's great. Thanks to Matt Danner for this! And happy 5th anniversary of this series, as well as a belated Donald's birthday (Friday the 13th) and of course the 100th anniversary of Disney!
