The whistling of the birds relaxed you as you walked around the Shiratorizawa campus, you were drowning in your thoughts and you had only been there a week. But it was normal, in just seven miserable days you had already earned those looks; pity, intrigue, fear...

You are mute, you do not have the ability to speak and that causes many problems when it comes to relating to people, you should always carry your charged phone or a small notebook; without that you were totally out of it, although you certainly mostly wandered alone, were it not for the two girls who desperately offered you to be part of the gardening club. They were the only ones who treated you as if you were a normal girl and not the most delicate person in the world, as if you were going to break at any moment.
But now none of that mattered, with the battery dead and without your notebook you were really lost, you only had one mission, to buy fertilizer at the store near the campus. Being you, nothing could go well for you and you confused the directions they gave you, you were still close to Shiratorizawa but you shouldn't come back without your purchases, you didn't want to disappoint the two girls and have them look at you with pity like everyone else.
So you saw them.
Your last resort, there were a couple of guys wearing the school uniform, hopefully they could understand some gestures so you could communicate. When you caught his eye your mouth dropped slightly at his height, one was quite muscular while the other was slimmer and walked a bit hunched over. They were both like giants. You stayed a few long seconds looking without doing anything, until you realized that you were making a fool of yourself as usual.
"Do you need something?"
Awkwardly you nodded, you made a couple of simple signs not very complicated but when you saw the boy's stoic face you sighed pulling some of your locks back. You looked at his redheaded companion, he was so quiet looking at you that it scared you a little; his eyes with slightly closed eyelids watched you as if he were seeing your soul.
«They really don't understand me»
"Yes, I understand you, I can go with you to buy, I also go there."
You widened your eyes in surprise, thinking that he had read your mind or maybe he understood your signs, but you were grateful so you nodded, excited to be able to fulfill your task.
"Tendou, we have to go back to the gym."
The redhead sweated, he really didn't have to go to a flower shop but you made him curious.
"Yeah, well, you know Ushiwaka, I have to go buy something."
"Okay, don't be late."
Relieved he looked where you were only to see how you looked at him with admiration? Yes, it may have been a coincidence that he could have understood you but he said exactly what you thought and you thought it was amazing.
"Come on."
He began to walk with great strides leaving you behind, you had to jog a little to be able to look him directly in the eye
«Can you understand me?»
"What kind of question is that? Obvious."
You opened your eyes even more, you hadn't even made a gesture. How could he understand you?
"Although it may not seem like it, the way you move or how you look at people are gestures that speak for themselves."
Your mouth opened when you heard him, he really was someone strange, however you liked 'talking' with him on the way to the store, you thought it was funny because of the expressions he made when he commented on something he didn't like.
«So what do you need to buy?»
You noticed how he got nervous, he smiled saying that he needed some flowers for his mother's birthday. You nodded at his message, clarifying that you were going to look after yourself while he chose the flowers. You caught him glancing at you nervously, he went back to looking at some random flowers not knowing what to buy because it definitely wasn't his mom's birthday and he didn't need those flowers. You approached lightly hitting his shoulder making him shudder at your touch.
«A yellow poppy will be fine»
Despite not understanding much about that language of plants that they told you about, you learned enough to know that those poppies meant success and health, something suitable for a mother. When you two paid you arrived at the main entrance where you said goodbye, with a feeling of happiness in the chest, you felt that you had met someone different.

his hugs are all encompassing, big arms trapping you to his chest so you can smell nothing but him
riding the high of adrenaline from the game, he decides to lift you in one of those spinny hugs
his heart is definitely racing, but he plays off the embarrassment by laughing and smiling like he always does
will definitely try to find excuses to hug all the time you now that he knows he can, and he will sulk if you refuse
akaashi gives you a thumbs up in the background
kuroo tetsurou
also surprised, but quickly recovers from it with a smooth comment “oh? did I really do that well today?” and returns the hug with a sincere smile
if it was a particularly stressful or intense match, he won’t say anything and just hold you tightly
gives those good good hugs where one hand is on the small of your back and the other is on the back of your head to keep you pinned to him
will take this as permission to touch you casually, like poking your arms or resting his arm on your head (if you’re shorter)
will pout if you don’t give him a hug after every game from now on

is very surprised, he’s used to being ostracized so having someone willingly show affection towards him is rare
it takes him a second to register that yes, you are hugging him of your own volition
i imagine tendou to be touch starved as hell, so he holds you like you’re the last thing on earth
will ask you for more hugs at random times not during games because he simply can’t get enough

constantly debating on where to put his hands, overthinking the smallest things like “oh no what if i’m too sweaty and they think i’m gross”

his hugs are gentle, warm and comforting; you feel protected from the outside world
he blushes when you make eye contact with him for the next few weeks

is definitely surprised, he expected all of the attention to be on oikawa
his face is a little red, but the deep color of his ears betray all his embarrassment

he buries his face in your neck to hide his embarrassment, but the adrenaline dulls and he suddenly remembers that he’s sweaty

You want to buy Tendo ice-cream. You’re gonna take him out in the summer warmth for icecream and fries, and you’ll sit on the wooden benches, in the shade that never seems cool enough at the outside parlour of the ice-cream shop.
You’ll both dip your crispy hot fries in the creamy cool ice-cream and eat it, giggling and swinging your legs like primary school kids.
Little flying bugs might land on your shirt but he’ll shoo them away. “Bugs won’t distract me from hearing my pretty Y/N talk”, he’d say. He’s always so attentive, ruby eyes rapt as he drinks in and visualises your every word. He’s always so curious and he genuinely wants to know, genuinely wants to understand and genuinely wants to hear you talk more and more.
You never really know exactly what you’ll be talking about, what he’ll bring up, or what topic might catch your attentions next, but you’re excited because either way, You know it’ll be fun. Every moment’s a fun one with him <3

TenSemi - Canon Related Fluff
Tendo and Semi are spending the afternoon together in Semi's dorm room, with Semi sitting on his bed and Tendo splayed on the floor, listening to the other boy playing his guitar.
"Are you serenading me?" Tendo asks once his friend is done.
"Wha- no! I asked you to tell me if you like it," pouting, Semi takes his pillow from its place and throws it towards the redheads head.
Tendo catches the pillow, laughing as he sits with his back against the wall.
"It sounds fine, you're really good SemiSemi," he assures him with a smile.
Semi turns his face away, trying to hide his blush as he mumbles a small 'thanks'.
"What song is that? I don't think I've heard it," Tendo asks getting closer to the blond's personal space.
"Of course you've never heard it, dumbass." Semi rolls his eyes before setting the guitar next to him. "I wrote it..."
"Woah! SemiSemi, you're an artist!"
"Don't call me that!"
Despite his words, Semi's smile only grows bigger as Tendo keeps complimenting him, feeling like a weight is being lifted from him as his friend goes on and on about how he's going to be at all of his concerts once he becomes famous.

♡ IWAIZUMI eats his bento like usual. There’s nothing odd about it, but for some reason that you can’t quite figure out why, he just looks extremely attractive today. Maybe it’s the sun hitting his skin and making him glow? Or the way his eyes seem greener than usual?
“You’re pretty.”
Hajime turns to you with the most confused expression you’ve ever seen.
“Huh?”
“You are pretty, Iwa.”
You catch the way his cheeks slowly turn into a light shade of pink, only adding to the eye-pleasing sight that is Iwaizumi Hajime.
“I’m not pretty.” He mumbles, turning back to face forward and continue eating.
“Yes, you are.” You sing.
“Am not.”
“Are too.”
“At least say I’m handsome.”
You lean closer to him with a shit-eating grin that makes him roll his eyes.
“You are very much handsome, Iwa. But you’re way prettier than that.”
"What's gotten into you?"
"What? Can't I tell my friend he looks pretty when he does?"
"Say that again and you'll be more than just a friend." He whispers.
"What was that?"
"Nothing."
♡ AONE takes his pet turtle gently in his hands to show him to you. You've been insisting that he lets you meet his pet since you found out he had one, so after your exams were done, Takanobu invited you over so you could hang out and meet his turtle.
You find adorable the way he handles the tiny animal with so much care, it's funny seeing someone so big being so delicate.
You stare at him while he caresses the turtle with his index finger. His face is relaxed, his eyes are kind, and during the time you analyze his face with more focus and detail you realize something that it’s quite obvious but never caught your attention before.
“You’re pretty, Aone.”
“Yeah, he’s pretty.” He responded, thinking you were talking about his pet.
“No. I mean, yes, he’s pretty, but I meant you.”
“Me?” He asked, pointing at himself.
“Yes, you.”
His face quickly tuned into a dark shade of red while you smiled at his reaction.
“You’re prettier, Y/n.” He says, avoiding eye contact with you.
“Aw, thank you, Aone.”
“Um, can I hug you?”
“Anytime.”
Aone put the turtle on its aquarium and wrapped his arms around your waist, burning his face on your neck to hide how he turned even more flustered when you rubbed your hands up and down his back.
♡ MEIAN has you laying on his chest while he rests. He has his eyes closed but you know he’s not sleeping since he keeps a hand playing with your hair.
Shugo never really lets you stare at him, and how couldn’t he? You have a whole hot ass boyfriend right in front of you and he expects you to not admire him? The audacity.
You take advantage of the moment and position to stare as long as you want. Then you bring a hand to his face, softly tracing his features.
“You like the view?” He teases.
“Very much, yes. You’re so pretty, Shugo.”
Median’s eyes go wide on that instant, tints of red slowly creeping into his cheeks and ears.
“What did you say?”
“I said that you are so so pretty. The prettiest boy out there. My pretty boy.”
He hugs your waist and flips you over to get on top of you. Meian blows raspberries in your neck while tickling your sides, causing you to laugh loudly.
“Call me pretty boy again, I dare you.”
“Okay, Pretty Boy.”
“Oh, you asked for it.”
Needless to say he kept tickling you until you were both breathless and his blush had tuned down a bit.
♡ KUROO is going through your homework to see if you answered all the questions right. Your chemistry teacher advised you to get tutoring lessons with him since you were having some difficulty with the class’s recent theme. Kuroo is indeed a good teacher and he had an easy method to help you understand better the topics, as your study sessions progressed you became friends and you couldn’t deny you found the volleyball club captain attractive.
You noticed how he slightly narrows his eyes and pouts when he’s concentrated on something and started finding it adorable, something unique of him.
“You know, you’re really pretty, Kuroo.”
“Oya?”
“I said what I said. And I’m probably not saying it again so just enjoy it.” You say, trying to brush off the obvious blush on your cheeks. You didn’t really think before you said it, it was more of a thinking out loud kind of situation.
But Kuroo wasn’t off the hook either, his ear tips were scarlet and his hands started to get a little sweaty, although you don’t know that.
“Oh, so you find me attractive, Y/n-chan?” He asks teasingly while leaning towards your side.
“I never said that.”
“But you said I’m pretty. Really pretty.”
“Okay then, I find you attractive, so what?”
Tetsurou smiles. There’s a tiny trace of a smirk there, but it’s definitely a smile. He tucks a stand off hair behind your ear gently and dips his head down to kiss your cheek.
“I find you attractive too, Y/n. And also really, really pretty.”
♡ TENDOU raises the hairbrush to his mouth and sings with the top of his lungs while pointing at you. You don’t know exactly how your little karaoke session in the middle of your room began, but you never thought you needed to see and hear Satori singing Lady Gaga songs until now.
“Let’s have some fun this beat is sick I wanna take a ride on your disco stick-”
“don’t think too much just bust that kick-”
“I wanna take a ride on your disco stick!”
You sing and laugh as he dances with you around the floor. The only light source is your tv that keeps playing the song’s videoclip, painting your faces with flashing lights and bright colors.
At some point a slower song comes on, and Tendou playfully asks you do dance with him like a gentleman from the previous century. You lock your hands around his neck and he pulls you closer by the waist, softly rocking you side to side.
You take a good look at his features, his colorful hair, his big and soft eyes, you become hypnotized by him, and suddenly you pull him down for a kiss.
“Y/n-chan?!”
You smile at his flustered and confused state and play with his neck hair.
“You’re pretty.”
His blush only seems to get more intense and he avoids eye contact.
“I’m not p-”
You shut him off with another kiss and Tendo swears he’ll melt inside your arms anytime.
“You are the prettiest, Satori.”
♡ DAICHI practices his receives while you watch from the bleachers. You two were going to the movies after class so you were waiting for him to finish.
Your original plan was to do your homework while you waited, but for some reason seeing your best friend practice seemsway more interesting than some math problems.
Maybe it’s the confidence that he shows when he’s on court, or the way he leads the team, or just his practice clothes that suddenly made him look even more attractive. You thanked God he was too involved in the game to notice you staring at him the whole time.
“Okay, I’m done, let’s go?”
You two walk together on the sidewalk in a comforting silence. The sun is setting beside Sawamura and the temperature dropping a little, sending a refreshing breeze to your skin.
You turn to look at him, his beauty continues the same, his strong features, determined eyes, that you just blur it out as if it was the most normal thing ever.
“Daichi, you’re very pretty.”
“Huh?”
He stops in his tracks, looking at you with wide eyes. He thinks he must’ve heard it wrong.
“You’re very pretty.” You repeat.
“Are you calling me pretty?”
“Well, we’re the only ones in the street right now so yeah.”
Daichi blinks a couple of times still in a mix of disbelief and flusteredness.
“I guess I could say you’re beautiful, too.”
“You guess?” You smirk.
“Okay. You’re beautiful, Y/n.”
“Thank you, My Kind Sir. Now let’s go, or we’ll be late for the session.”

The afternoon was cloudy with the pavement still freshly soaked from rainfall. Tendou Satori knew he shouldn't be doing this. He shouldn't be walking down this path, he shouldn't be wasting his time like this, and most of all he shouldn't be following you. Well, he was technically stalking you but he doesn't want to be honest with himself. In his defense, this only happened today and he doesn't intend any harm. He could explain that he's only keeping an eye on you, making sure you're safe. He could argue that he has the right to do this because you were his. But his eyes linger on you for more than that reason alone.
His head was haunting him and his heart felt like a ghost. He needs to feel something 'cause he's still so far from home. Tendou hopes you'll cross your heart and hope to die, promise him you'll never leave his side. When you meet each other for lunch the following day, Tendou doesn't mention how he followed you home yesterday. He didn't intend on repeating it so he thinks it's unnecessary to bring it up.
"And then she said..."
You were talking miles per minute and Tendou just listened to you with a loving look in his eye. He could listen to you blabber about the most absurdest things and he'll be beyond contented. Tendou adored everything you did beyond what a normal person would consider. You could consider him obsessed and he won't shy away from that fact. Tendou knows the things that made you smile down to all of the things that make you tick. He knows what makes you laugh and what makes you crinkle your nose in disgust. He knows the flavors you hate and the food you love. He even knows the toothpaste you use. He knows everything that you're willing to put out there.
Tendou found it wild to imagine that he managed to find someone who loves him for how he is, it would be foolish to let you slip away. Evers since he asked you to go to prom with him back in high school, you stuck with him. You stayed with him even after college. You stayed with him despite his flaws. You took him into your arms with no room for hesitation, even if people told you how weird he was, and even if the world showed you how he's not good for you. Show him what he can't see when the spark in your eyes is gone. You got him on his knees he's your one-man cult. Tendou crosses his heart and hopes to die, promise you that he'll never leave your side.
The redhead has always made it his mission to express his love for you in various ways. Making you chocolates, lending you his hoodie, dancing with you in the kitchen, and singing you to sleep. Tendou made sure to reassure you that there was nobody else that made his heart beat so hard that it would break out of his ribcage. He looks at you with a tender stare and a gleam in his eye, 'cause he's telling you you're all he needs. He promises you you're all he sees. He'll never leave.
"Are you sniffing my shirt?"
You enter the room with an amused smirk. Tendou pauses brings your shirt down from his nose and cracks a smile at you through the doorway.
"And what if I am? What are you gonna do?"
"I dunno, punish you?"
"Don't you think I'm already punished enough with you snoring like an elephant?"
"Hey! I don't snore!"
You pout as you throw a pillow at him that you grabbed from the bed. Tendou cackles and discards your shirt on the floor to sprint at you at full speed, you squealed as he scooped you in his arms and attacked you with pecks and kisses. You burst into a fit of giggles even if he went in to bite your right cheek. The two of you decided to spend the afternoon in bed watching a movie and cuddling under the sheets. The film was one of those typical zombie apocalypse ones.
"Satori, would you love me even if I get turned into a zombie?"
"Yeah, I'll even let you bite me"
"Well, that's stupid"
"Huh? Do you want me to keep you around my house and feed you dead humans until I die?"
"Babe, what the hell?"
You laugh at him and he joins. Tendou thinks back at the conversation at the end of the movie, everything he said was serious but he had a feeling you knew that already. He wasn't even trying to hide how he adores you uncontrollably. And he likes it when you say nothing about it and just let him do his thing. Come and sink to him and let him breathe you in. He'll be your gravity, you'll be his oxygen. So dig two graves 'cause when you die, he swears he'll be leaving by your side.
"Happy anniversary, Satori!"
Tendou gasps when you hand him homemade chocolates that you managed to hide from him. He grins from ear to ear and goes to kiss you on the lips before pulling you into a bone-crushing embrace. He opens the box and sniffs the saccharine scent of the chocolates, he pops one in his mouth and all the flavors melt on his palate.
"Baby, this is delicious! Dare I say better than mine"
"Oh my god, really?"
"Uh-huh. Dang, I better watch out or my business is gonna die because of these chocolates"
He jests and you slap his arm with a chuckle. Tendou fetches his anniversary gift for you and hands it to you wrapped in red like his hair with a white bow. You tear off the wrapper to see an expensive black jewelry box and your breath hitches. Tendou bites his lip, a smile already erupting on his face as he watches you eagerly open the box.
"Satori, you didn't..."
"Oh yes I did, my darling"
"This...oh my god, thank you!"
You pounce at him and he laughs. You gave him a few aggressive kisses on his face before staring back at the gift he gave you. It was the necklace you've always wanted since you graduated from college, you remember how you would sigh and complain to Tendou about how your life would be better if you got that necklace. That's why you were standing at the door of the gym where you were warned not to go so as not to communicate with the redhead, plus you were also told that the volleyball team was scary, refusing to judge them, you opened the doors without making a sound.
As silent as ever you climbed into the stands unseen, leaning on the railing to watch the players. You recognized the copper-haired boy in your class; Kenjiro Shirabu, you hadn't really communicated much with him, you only knew his name and that he was someone quite salty with people. Your gaze swept past the stoic boy accompanying Tendou to one with a cut like a bowl.
Most of the practice you observed how they repeated some plays many times, they got to you excited when they nailed a shot strongly making a dull noise, if you were not mute surely they would have heard you gasp in surprise at their movements. You waited for most of them to leave so you could leave without being seen, you wanted to talk to Tendou but you didn't think that he wouldn't want to or that he already had other plans that you weren't in, that's why you tried to escape, and again, as you are you, what you want never happens. You were about to cross the door when a hand rested on your shoulder, you got a little scared by the unexpected but you regained your composure to turn to face your captor.
"What are you doing here?"
Straight to the point, Shirabu was not going to waste any time, you sighed to grab your phone quickly typing your answer.
«I was just watching, sorry to interrupt, I'm leaving»
"Watching? Are you interested in joining as a manager or something?"
Even being a rather sarcastic and moody boy, the idea of having a club manager caused him emotion. You denied breaking his little happiness, with a clumsy smile you bowed apologetically, you hurried out of there unmolested but he grabbed you again. You sighed to turn around again.

Without realizing the presence of the boy painted a nice smile on your face, getting infected by your smile, he greet you with his hand asking you what you were doing there. You wouldn't admit you were there for him so you just said you were curious because people were talking about the team a lot.
"So you've been watching our practice?"

Tendou laughed, you blushed embarrassed for having thought too much about how great they were, he didn't blame you, you could never express yourself properly and now that you could 'speak' it felt so good that you wanted to do it for hours without stopping.

The captain scolded him, although he didn't pay much attention, you had to help him to finish, you apologized to Ushijima when you found out his name and he didn't care, the redhead used to sneak away from his work often.
"Don't you want to join us?"
You looked at him strangely as he pointed to four guys behind him; Shirabu, Ushijima, the boy with the bowl haircut and another one who had gray hair with dark tips. You pointed to yourself as a question and he nodded, insecure you decided to deny when you saw how they approached but it was too late.
"Guys! She will join us today."
«I didn't even answer you»
He chuckled at you, ran a hand through his long hair to reply nonchalantly.
"Come on, it will be fun, you can make more friends."
«Friends? You want to be my friend?»
At this point you didn't know if you were more excited than him, he shrugged, hiding his smile.
"We're friends, right? Plus I know you'd like to see the training again."
Instinctively you grabbed his hands looking at him with determination, taking him by surprise, you nodded vigorously while flashes were seen in your eyes. He just smiled at your actions, patting you on the head.
"What do you say Tendou?"
You both looked at the grey-haired boy who seemed just as intrigued as the other three, Tendou smiled proudly again, he put an arm around your shoulders.
"Yeah, you know, she really loves to see us practice, especially the auctions of our future ace."

Coach Washijou was intimidating in a manner disproportionate to his size, and simply put, he terrified you. He had already dealt with past managers only joining the team to flirt with team members, so he was even more tense than usual. It felt like every move was being watched and calculated to make sure you were adequate enough to manage the great Shiratorizawa volleyball team.
However, the coach was only one of the scary obstacles you had to face. The captain was another scary wall looming over you, despite him never saying anything to you besides ‘Thanks’ and ‘Hello’. The rest of the team was plenty intimidating as well, with most of them towering over you effortlessly.
You made it a point to remain as stoic and professional as possible during practice to seem cool and calculating, never wanting to run the risk that you might be perceived as childish. Tendou often tried to poke at you with remarks and jokes, trying to lighten your serious demeanor. Although you appreciated his attempts, you simply smiled politely and continued on your way.
“What’s their deal? Am I getting worse at jokes or something?” Tendou chuckled, leaning against the scoreboard casually.
Leon took a swig of his water bottle before responding, “Nah I don’t think that’s it, they’re probably just shy, I mean we’re not the friendliest looking bunch.” his gaze trailed over to where you were hastily picking up volleyballs around the gym.
Semi came up from behind Leon and slapped a hand on Tendou’s shoulder. “You’ll get a reaction soon enough, positive or otherwise.”
The redhead scoffed and shook his head, “What kind of encouragement is that..”
Their conversation was cut short by the coach’s booming voice yelling your name.
The boys watched curiously as you scurried quickly across the gym to the small man. “Yes, sir?”
“I have some paperwork I need to finish so I’ll be in my office, just start cleaning up if I don’t come back by the end of practice.” he stated gruffly as he rose from the bench.
You bowed as he turned towards the door and made his way out, silently relieved that you would get a break from his stern gaze. The team was instructed to practice serves for the rest of the day by the other coaches.
You took a deep sigh and closed your eyes. It was as if a hot spotlight that had been searing you for the whole day suddenly turned off.
The team practiced their serves in two groups, taking turns due to the sheer number of members. You passed out water bottles to the group currently taking a break, which included the starting lineup players.
Tendou spotted his window of opportunity, sauntering over to you with a pun brewing in his head.
“(l/n)!”
You turned to see the middle blocker jogging over to you with a grin on his face. Subtly straightening your back to look more professional, you responded “Yes? Did you need something?”
Tendou shook his head, “Nah, just wanted to chat.”
Your eyes widened in surprise, “Oh, um okay.”
He chuckled at your shy demeanor, “Anyway, I have a joke for you; when did the-”
He failed to finish his sentence before being slammed in the back of the head with a stray serve, leaving Tendou bent over in pain with his hands on his head.
A terrified looking first year stood trembling on the other side of the court while his friends were trying to hold back from cackling.
Tendou snapped up with a hand covering the back of his head, violently turning around to see who the culprit was. “Oi! Whoever did that is gonna pay!” he snapped.
You stood bewildered for a second before bursting out into uncontrollable laughter, hands moving to cover your mouth as you doubled over.

The rest of the team began to clamor around the redhead, making sure he was fine before continuing practice.
“Damn, our manager actually has emotions.” Semi stated with his eyebrows raised.
Leon lightly elbowed him in the ribs, “Don’t be rude, I told you they’re just shy.”
They looked over to see you handing a water bottle to Goshiki with a warm smile while he sputtered out “thank you” with a reddened face.
Shirabu rolled his eyes and crossed his arms at the first year’s reaction, “I don’t see why it’s such a big deal.”
Tendou smirked, “Yeah right, I saw your water bottle totally miss your mouth ‘cause you were staring so hard.”
The setter was unable to retort, the tips of his ears growing red at the middle blocker’s observation.
Meanwhile on the other side of the gym, you were finishing passing out water bottles to the team, ending with the captain. Handing off the drink to the intimidating ace, you immediately turned to leave before being interrupted by a call of your name. “(l/n).”
You turned with wide eyes, “Yes?”
Ushijima looked down at you with piercing hazel eyes as he spoke in a slightly (like, extremely subtly) softer tone. “You look good when you’re smiling.”
You felt heat growing across your face as you desperately tried to find a response, while the tall boy simply walked away.
From then on, you allowed your smile to slip out a little more around the team. Tendou was very appreciative of your newfound expressiveness, trying to make you laugh all the time to see that pretty smile. Everyone already liked you but now they love you, their precious manager. <3
