Hello. My name is Saffi Grace and I have decided to rejoin the wonderful Studyblr community. Over the past year I have started to lose sight of my goals and stopped believing in my potential. I created this account a while back but am resposting this because I never used it due to mental health and I lost who I am. Why a Studyblr

I have a pretty big imagination (and would rather spend my time dreaming up new concepts then studying certain subjects) and can be pretty chaotic. Which leads to me procrastinating and not being disciplined and not getting the grades I know I could be getting. I hope this studyblr will motivate me. Also, I want to improve my notetaking. I have a pretty strong will and I hope that I can apply that to school.

I struggle with depression and I hope that this studyblr will motivate me to continue with my goals even when I feel as if nothing will work out.

we had no classes since monday (december 2) due to the ongoing sea games so i went back home to unwind and rest. i also got myself notebooks for my korean notes & transferred it there while i was on a mini vacation! now, i’m back in my dorm & i feel like i caught a flu. i want to be productive but i’m so sick that i feel like crying. anw, get well soon to me. hope your day has been fantastic! 🥰

With Europe under lockdown due to the coronavirus situation, closing the schools came as no surprise. This doesn't mean that we have to think it's already holiday for there is still much studying to do. Especially for those in the final year, like me, who have no idea what will happen to finals and college admission exams.

Let's wish for the best, respect the rules imposed by the authorities and spend these days properly.

After this long break from studies (unintentional one), i am starting fresh with it. I am thinking of joining any of the studying challenges which are quite viral here, but I'm not able to decide which one is gonna help me boost my productivity.

07.27.20 | Monday, July 27th

I’m back! I took a bit of a breather from social media for a while to go on a mini-vacation with my family to Niagara Falls (while keeping masks and social distancing in mind). Today was a good day in terms of work; I finished a chapter in my test prep book and reviewed the simple future tense and its conjugations in Spanish. Time to catch up on all those questions I missed since I left: (under the cut)

22nd July - What is your dream vacation?

Probably Disneyworld or Universal Studios. I’ve been to both before already on a trip in middle school for a chorus competition, but I’m still a sucker for anything disney/harry potter related unfortunately haha.

23rd July - What is the worst vacation you have ever been on?

I don’t think I’ve ever been on a “bad” vacation before because I’ve enjoyed all of them. If I had to choose the one with the worst moments though, it would probably

24th July - What is your favourite vacation memory?

Watching Brother Bear in my cousin’s house using their Netflix account. It’s a fond memory that has really stood the test of time since I was 9 or 10 at the time.

25th July - What was is your favourite event or day in the summer? Are you a ‘summer person’ or do you prefer it when it is colder?

I don’t think I have a favorite day or event in particular; I used to love being able to stay up late and just wake up at whatever time I wanted though. I would say I’m more of a spring type of person.

26th July - What is your typical daily routine in the summer?

Since I have a lot of stuff to get done this summer, I wake up at around 7-8am, get started with my work for the day using a to-do list, taking frequent breaks throughout to relax, eat, and work out, and then I end the day off at 7:30-10pm with either light work, my hobbies, or a good video game.

27th July - Do you stay indoors or outdoors more in the summer?

I do both pretty frequently, but mostly indoors because the heat becomes too much at some point.

Hi i think i saw the ask you sent to @nabasynth (thanks for thinking of me ella!

So i’ve based most of this on my experience with GCSE languages and the questions and topics we did. i don't know what language you are learning so i’ve tried to keep it relatively general and I've kept all the questions in English. i’ve also tried to put them in a rough order of difficulty so you can progress in complexity.

Ok, so basically I've listed a bunch of questions that you could answer in full sentences that were part of the essays I did. In my experience, they are really good ways to learn vocab and sentence structures. I’ve tried to put different tense in and questions that ask for opinions because it is really important that you learn to do include various tenses and opinions in all essays.

1. Family

How many people are in your family? What are their names? Where do they live? What do they look like?

Do you get on with your parents? What do you argue about?

Do you have brothers or sisters? Do you get on with them?

Who is your best friend? What does he/she look like? What do like to do together?

What qualities must a good friend have?

What did you do with your friend last weekend?

What will you do with your friend next weekend?

What do you think about marriage? Do you want to get married in the future?

2. Where you live

Where do you live? What do you like about where you live? What do you dislike about where you live?

Describe your house. What are the positives and negatives of your house?

What would your dream house be like?

What are the positives and negatives of living in a city?

What are the positives and negatives of living in the countryside?

What did you do last weekend in your town?

Where would you like to live in the future and why?

What would your ideal city be like?

3. Freetime (Sport, Music, Films, TV, Food)

What is your favourite thing to do in your free time?

When you were younger, what was your favourite thing to do in your free time?

5. Future Plans and Career

I hope this is helpful to you or anyone else who wants to practice to writing in their target language! To put it into an essay format you could choose a few of these questions that go together. Make sure you put opinions and different tenses in your essays.
