Look I am weak for AU's

WEAK

One AU I love for Steddie is Pirate AU and all I can think about is Eddie, captain of the ship Hellfire boarding a royal boat looking for treasures maybe a captive. He gets both!

He finds Prince Steve.

Eddie the Banished (who used to be a Prince who was accused of false crimes thus banished from his own kingdom) is just like: "You'll do Big Boy."

The crew is totally expecting Steve to start pleading for his life or to maybe try and convince them to take someone in his place but he just gets up and starts to get dressed with an excited smile because this was the first time he was allowed out of the kingdom and now he gets more adventure!

Steve: "Okay! Can I pack a bag? Is that allowed? How long do you think I'll be with you because I have to be honest, I will need to take my bathing supplies if you think it's going to be long."

Eddie who had been checking out the royal "assets": "Hm? Oh uh...yes? Yes you can bring a bag. Whatever you want Your Highness "

The crew is just staring at Eddie like, you useless gay, really now? As we're doing the job? But they know once Eddie's interests are piqued it's a done deal. Eddie's, and maybe some of the crew's hearts melt when Steve asks them for a favor.

Steve: "Can we please also bring my Personal Attendant? He is young and not like the other men in the castle. I fear if I were to leave him, the others would not be as kind to him as they are with me here, which if you ask me is not as kind as they could be. His name is Dustin, he should be in the quarters down below. Oh and also Robin, she is a Minstrel and I know if I were to leave her she would not make it back to the castle."

And like...how can they refuse? Like they are pirates but that does not make them bad people and the Prince seemed desperate and sincere so what the heck? They also kidnap Dustin and Robin along with Steve.

Steve when he sees Robin and Dustin on the Hellfire: "My friends!!"

Robin: "You had us kidnapped."

Steve: "Yes."

Dustin: "You are unbelievable!"

Steve: "Would you have preferred to stay on the ship with Thomas and all the others?"

Dustin and Robin grumbling but shaking their heads.

Steve: "Besides! Look at it this way, we get to go on a better adventure than visiting Prince Jason and convincing his father that continued trade with our kingdom is beneficial to us all."

Steve, Dustin and Robin really bond with the crew and Captain Eddie keeps "forgetting" to send out the ransom note everytime they port and pillage if that's what they decide. Eddie literally is head over heels for his little prince so fast it's not even funny, like he let's him sleep in his quarters, he makes sure he and his friends are well fed. He does not tie any of them up or put them in cells. He'll when he and Gareth were trying to make sense of a new treasure map they had gotten their hands on, that Dustin kid was the one who solved the first riddle for them. Now he, Robin and Steve were basically helping Eddie and his inner ring solve the map. Steve always said he had nothing to tribute to the group but it was his little thoughts and comments that really helped from time to time and he solved one of the riddles all on his own.

Basically Steve, Robin and Dustin get adopted by a pirate crew and just become pirates!

Rockstar Eddie Munson would get invited to the met gala every year and he would nail every single theme. He's the one artist that people look forward to seeing because they know he's going to deliver.

He never once wears a plain boring black tuxedo, he doesn't even own one. One year, he shows up fashionably late, and no one is even mad because his hair is pinned up with gorgeous diamond pins and he's wearing the most stunning floor-length dress that requires two people to carry the train behind him. Nearly every celebrity there gets a picture with him that night.

He brings along his up and coming model boyfriend Steve Harrington one year, and they do a couple outfit that gets talked about for months. No one can get over how amazing they look together. In every photo, Eddie is smiling at Steve and posing dramatically in a way that says, 'Look! Look at my pretty boyfriend!'

can everyone save their fics now?

Not to incite fear or panic, moreso to just... prepare for the what ifs and eventualities of the future. But if you're responsible for writing a fic, a oneshot, drabble, even just an extended response to an ask, it MIGHT be a good idea (if you've not already done so) To save your works to a folder on your PC/Laptop/Notes app etc. And think about posting them elsewhere, or promoting yourself in a way that readers will be able to find your old work, and possibly keep up with future work. heck, maybe also save a bunch of stuff you HAVENT written, but have read and liked/reblogged. just keep the authors username attached to it. it would suck super bad if you woke up and tumblr was just... gone. along with every dang piece of literature someone has written and uploaded here but not cross-posted to Ao3 for example.

Y'know I actually do have things to say about these weird leak riddles. Because of course I do. Idc if I'm right or not, I'm just going to start Saying Things for Recreational Purposes.

Heart of Hawkins: Literally? The library. The library has been so central and just happened to be mostly missed by the rifts. Figuratively? Could be a Mike reference, especially since Will is linked to the library. It's like. a triangle. Or something.

Secrets of the past unfold/Tales untold: What, so Henry's backstory and Will's disappearance aren't as straightforward as everyone seems to think they are? Who could have guessed?? /s

Where shadows dance/Mysteries conspire: Probably something to do with Dimension X and the lab. Fire and Code respectively. HNL is so fucking back! ST2 baby!

Lost in the heart of Hawkins -> Darkness descends on Hawkins -> Lost in the darkness -> NINA

A Knee Way...

Monsters emerge/A sinister unseen: [nodding along] Yeah we kinda knew monsters were coming.

Ancient powers/motives concealed: Would love for them to expand on the Shadow Monster and its possible sentience/loyalties. That feels like this.

A town's fate is sealed: Yeah we kinda had the feeling there's no restoring Hawkins after this one.

Beware the night: Anyone want to tell me why TFS has a church that looks like the one from Midnight Mass, the show about ancient Vecna-looking vampires? Anyone want to elaborate on how Vecna feeds on peoples' energy/life force like a vampire...Anyone want to tell me why Brenner doesn't have a reflection...like a vampire...Anyway...

Heroes unite/Restore the town's light: Hawkins Light and Power baby!! Like I said, HNL is so fucking back!! 🫡

In shadows deep/A force does creep: Did they ever actually seal those tunnels from ST2? Or did they just put concrete over the spot where the gate was? Because it would be really funny if the tunnels popped back into action.

Upside down secrets buried deep: Okay we get it there's more to HNL's connection to the UD than meets the eye. You said this like twice now.

A girl with power: Hello El my darling daughter <3 Cannot wait to see you again. (I'm sure this absolutely has nothingggggg to do with Hawkins Power and light...)

A gate unfurls: So like I said about those tunnels...can we talk about the X-axis and Y-axis gates again...because I'm fairly sure our X-axis gates are already unfurled...

The underworld twirls: I patiently await Vecna's new choreo. Can we make him do a death drop? (But seriously...this is giving the spinning cameras from Max/Brenner's "death" scenes)

So in essence what I see here is: HNL is so fucking back, we have more to learn about Henry, there's more monsters, and we have more to learn about Vecna/the UD. Could indicate some alter ego/X-Y axis fuckery with the tunnels and the old mothergate. All things we already figured.

Cheers, there's nothing new as far as I can see.

(Not a well known duo but Franklin and Bash have to be one of my faves. The show itself wasnt great but their friendship was fantastic)

Okay, if you can't tell the Steddie and overall ST brainrot has a GRIP on me.

But like, can y'all imagine if Gareth is super worried for his friend, knows all his spots that he goes to when stressed and just wants to know his friend is okay because he knows Eddie would never kill anyone. So he goes to Reefer Rick's at the same time as everyone else and like that throws everything off.

Dustin is trying to get Eddie to make Gareth leave but Gareth is Eddie's Ride-or-Die. He ain't going anywhere kiddo.

So Gareth is there for everything, he makes sure Eddie doesn't die. They both get a little fucked up yeah but they had to protect Little Henderson, who apparently is basically King Steve's child. Which that was something he could have never guessed. King Steve turning into Mama Steve a mother of 6 or 7 children...and apparently his best friend is coparenting those children.

Him and Robin Live Slug reacting to Eddie and Steve flirting and being oblivious.

Gareth and Eddie losing their damn minds together over the shit they saw and learn about from The Party.

Of course Jared (the friend who completed their trio), as soon as he's able to come back to town as his dad sent him to his grandmas in Indianapolis when everything started, rushes to check over his friends and ask what the fuck happened. Eddie and Gareth want to tell him so bad but like the government did make them sign NDA's and like they haven't run it by the Party but look Steve was visiting Eddie and Gareth at Eddie's new trailer and he can give permission right?

Eddie: "Stevie. Sweetheart. Doll. Jared is the other 50% of my impulse control. We have to tell him! I don't care if we signed NDAs."

Gareth: "You know....I actually don't remember signing an NDA. Like I did go into surgery and came out but like I don't remember any Feds."

Steve: "...what?"

Gareth: "No I'm serious! Like unless I don't remember because I was on the good stuff, no spooky Men in Black. Maybe they didn't realize I was part of it? I mean my injuries were bad yeah but Eddie's were way worse. Harrington you get 2nd place for injuries."

Jared: "...what?"

Eddie: "You know you may be on to something Gar!"

Gareth: "You know how much I hate that nickname but continue."

Eddie: "Your injuries looked like they could have been caused by falling debris from an "earthquake" or perhaps some overzealous jock cult members who were known to be going after Hellfire members..."

Jared: "I am so confused."

Steve: "So you didn't sign an NDA."

Gareth: "I did not!"

Steve sighing loudly: "Eddie, Gareth, you two SWEAR he can keep a secret?"

Eddie: "Seeing as Jared has known I like dick since freshman year and hasn't said anything yeah Babe."

Jared: "Babe!?"

Gareth: "Do not ask."

Steve sighing even more: "Technically...I guess we're not breaking any agreements if Gareth tells uh...Jared? Jared everything. I'll let the kids know."

Jared gets adopted into the Party next. Hopper is just shaking his head near tears, why do they keep multiplying!?
