#Marriage anon #I’m sorry that sounds incredibly difficult #couple counseling can be wonderfully healing #But I completely understand if it’s not something you can afford #You can check with your insurance carrier though #It may be covered enough that it’s more affordable than you think #if it’s possible to get any sort of personal therapy at least #It sounds like you could really use the help #sorting through your feelings #also it sounds like you may possibly be depressed #and medication could be really helpful for you #I don’t know how old you or your kids are #But hormonal changes after pregnancy #and the stress of young children #can be cause for a lot of the feelings you have right now #talk to your GP at least #If there’s no way to see a therapist #just to be sure you’re not in perimenopause #or that you don’t have any other hormonal issues #beyond that I wasn’t sure if it was your husband criticizing all of those areas of your life #or if all of those areas are causing you to feel criticized by others #it’s a little hard to try and give you advice this way #but I hope this is a bit helpful #Just know that you’re absolutely not the only one who has dealt with this stuff #therapy and meds have helped me #and my husband #So much #❤️❤️❤️ sending you love

Laudna being jealous of the connection between Imogen and Fearne last episode is so interesting to me because, look, she thinks she is "quite literally a dead end" (plus Marisha's comment in the last 4sd about Laudna not having a future) + Imogen's comment about Delilah during the honestly exercise that they still haven't had the time to discuss, she is probably questioning her role in Imogen's life already and then Imogen and Fearne find this special connection one that literally tethers them, Fearne someone who does not have the previously mentioned issues who is very much alive and has a future, so yes it's very natural that this would bring even more feelings of uncertainty.

#taz talks #writing #actually i WILL explain but i'll do it in the tags #these each serve the same function within their respective appropriate genres #each one is a kind of revelation #they heighten the connection between 2+ characters and highlight relationships and feelings and needs #they are out of place in genres where they do not belong and/or as curveballs when the narrative did not provoke them from the start #but they have the same sort of emotional/dramatic build-up #talk -> sing -> dance (talk -> yell -> stab) ((talk -> flirt -> You Know))#and they are all expressions of intense physicality and intimacy through physical gesture and interaction #they are fundamentally empty and boring if there is not a deeper purpose or drive behind them #although they can still occasionally be entertaining on their own if your audience is specifically seeking that experience out #people who do not like them will be very unhappy to encounter one where it isn't supposed to be #it is very easy to ruin the mood with poor word choice #many people have an inherent sense for terrible ones but it's often difficult or complicated to explain precisely why a bad one fails #when executed properly they are a very raw and intimate expression of a character's most fundamental needs and desires #the fluff is stripped away and there is nothing left but a series of needs. conflicting or cooperating.#and even when you're lying during one it's still a form of truth #none of these things are remotely necessary to tell a powerful or compelling story but if you're going to use them you need to do it right #also all 3 of these things are difficult if not impossible to write if you are not both interested in them and personally invested #this post brought to you by me trying to write smut about my dnd characters and failing because i generally hate /reading/ smut #so i have none of the vocabulary or instinct for it that i do for. say. graphic violence (or lyrical poetry)

Thanks so much for asking first of all. I’ve been thinking about this a whole lot (even before I drew the first plushie here) and I think I’ve finally decided that at least for now, I won’t be taking submissions for plushie ratings. Without getting too serious, the main reason is that I’m afraid that it will stop feeling as fun as it does now. I also really enjoy how happy people seem to be when they see a surprise rating that they weren’t expecting, which would happen much less often if I was spending time drawing submissions, too. I really hope that everyone understands
