Finally! My first finished piece in almost a month and a half! Seasonal depression has been kicking my butt, but I'm insanely happy with how this turned out!

I think part of my problem has been trying to force myself to draw stuff that I think my fans expect and want. I want to finish my time travel comic, but I don't know if I'll be able to anytime soon. As such, I've decided to transfer to writing. I'll post a link to it when I post the first chapter, and once I find motivation to continue the comic I'll do so. It's not that I'm not interested in Mario anymore, it's just a matter of hyperfixations changing. Now and again I'll post Mario stuff; it'll always be an important part of my life. It just won't be the main focus. I'm finding my motivation in other things rn, like Fnaf. And that may change, phases come and go. I'm slowly coming to accept, however, that I produce the best art when I'm happy and excited about the subject. Forcing myself to draw certain things because I want to make others happy is a big part of why my motivation is lacking.

In other words, I'm still gonna post Mario stuff every now and then, but I'm gonna be exploring my other interests. I hope everyone understands, and I love you guys so much!

Thanks so much for asking first of all. I’ve been thinking about this a whole lot (even before I drew the first plushie here) and I think I’ve finally decided that at least for now, I won’t be taking submissions for plushie ratings. Without getting too serious, the main reason is that I’m afraid that it will stop feeling as fun as it does now. I also really enjoy how happy people seem to be when they see a surprise rating that they weren’t expecting, which would happen much less often if I was spending time drawing submissions, too. I really hope that everyone understands

I liked Trigun for the same reasons I enjoyed Chainsaw Man. In it’s serious moments, the violence seems senseless, almost comical. But if you really let yourself feel the scene, it’s the most heart wrenching moment of your life. The violence is there, not because action is cool(…though it is f-cking cool), but because it displays just how painful it should feel.

Nicholas grabbing Vash’s gun and aiming at his head feels the same as the Reze fight. Both challenge the protagonist and their morals through their insistent violence. Denji gets nuked and we’re supposed to feel stomach pain to represent his heartbreak. Nicholas puts that gun up to his head and we’re supposed to feel the bone chilling fear of it going off and killing him.

I like both Nightow’s and Fujimoto’s violence, even if they use it in completely different way. Both mangakas also prefer the message: “Live at all costs. Live” which I have always loved.

Idk if there’s point of this, I just like their stuff.

I had a weird dream about me simping for Fatso from the Casper movie, and I blame @trashyourash for this because of her gorgeous art of her insert and Stretch.

(I mean to be fair I do have a thing for men with some chub, and I do love Brad Garrett, but I never thought about Fatso until last night)

Don't let anyone turn you into their pet project.

Don't let them isolate you from your loved ones, from a decent paying job, and from everything familiar.

Don't let them strip your independence, your self worth, because you can't even pay a simple phone bill. Don't let them dictate whether or not they pay you for services you provide.

Don't let them tell you again and again that your trauma is inconvenient for them, or that they hate dealing with your trauma responses.

Don't let anyone tell you that you're obligated to forgive those who don't care that they hurt you, you don't owe them shit.

Don't let anyone tell you that you just need to forget all the bad things that happened to you, and that you should get over it.

Don't let anyone force you outside of your comfort zone when you're not ready.

Above all else, don't let anyone convince you that something is wrong with you, and that you need to be 'fixed'.

Your trauma, and your neurodivergency is not a reason for someone to take advantage of you. They convince you to leave home, move in with them. They promise to help you, and at first they do. Then when you spiral into a depressive episode, when even picking up a pencil to draw feels like so much work, they switch. They ask what's wrong with you, they tell you to snap out of it, that you're affecting them, that it hurts them. Not once so they consider how it affects you, only that it inconveniences them.

In conclusion, you deserve better than someone who wants a pet project, someone to fix so they can feel good about themselves in spite of ruining other relationships. You are a person, not an unsolved equation. You are loved, you are cared for, and you deserve to fight for what you want out of life.
