👒, 💬, 🍼, and 🌈 for the fankid asks (after 5 billion years, sorry)
(From this.)
(And I'll answer for Dallas and Malibu.)
(Disclaimer: the fan-kid is not canon show wise or ship wise (yet). For this case the kid, a son, who I'll call Montana for now, is hypothetical but might be in development later.)
👒: which physical traits does your child get from you? which do they get from your f/o?
Montana would take more after his father, build wise, with a beak and horns, but he did get his mother's wing style and feathered wings.
He would take more after his mother, color wise, with the same black hair, and black feathers, but he does have his father's green skin color.
💬: what was your child's first word? was it a nickname for you or your f/o or something entirely different?
Montana's first word would be "kitty". Granted, the family lives with the Labyrinth clan and the mutates, so no one was too surprised.
Malibu will not be able to shut up about Montana speaking for at least, three weeks.
🍼: what's your child's comfort item and where did it come from? is it a hand-me-down?
Montana's comfort item would be Dallas' hoodie, since that's what she would usually carry him around in when he's still very young.
Ironically, that hoodie is also both Malibu's and Dallas' comfort item.
🌈: if applicable, who (from your f/o's source) would you make your child's godparents? who (out of your friends) would you make their godparents?
Well, by speaking, Montana's actual godparents would probably be Elisa and Goliath.
Or Talon and Maggie.
But, by gargoyle view, both the Labyrinth and Manhattan clans are parental figures to Montana, though I'm not sure where that falls on the "god parent" scale.
love does not have to be roses and diamonds and 5 star dinners. more often than not, the simplest, most innocent and mindless actions are the testament to true love.
the hesitation before holding someone's hand for the first time. the comfort of hugging someone, of burying all your sorrows in someone's arms. forehead kisses, that effortlessly convey concern. the instinctive action holding onto someone's arm while crossing the road, that gives a sense of security. wiping food off someone's chin. moving away hair from someone's face on a windy day. listening to someone talk about their day, even though the characters are strangers. holding someone's hand in a crowd.
“You can always call me to vent. Even if it’s about the fact that McDonald’s doesn’t do all-day breakfast anymore. I will always listen and offer solutions if you ask. Because I care about you.”
I'm from a relatively cold place and one time my friend and I were standing around at a bus stop on our way home from class just chatting. It was winter so it got dark out early but the warm street lights reflecting of the snow on the ground and blowing powder made it seem a lot brighter than it would otherwise have been. At some point my friend playfully flicked my nose and subsequently realised that it was cold (not surprisingly since the temperature was probably somewhere in the -30s centigrade) and immediately blurted out 'Oh my god your nose is cold! I need to warm it up' and proceeded to hold their hand over my nose with a smile.
This is the sort of simple love we need more of.
