‼Demon slayer manga spoilers ahead‼

I know people like to hate on sanegiyuu for it having very little canon drive for there to be a relationship fuiled by anything other than rivalry, but I feel like alot of where I get my perception of their relationship is from the end of the manga.

The rest of the current hashira are gone, and other than tengen, the only people they really have are each other. Theyd both been through alot after everything was over, and I like to think they couldve found closure in each other.

In a chapter that takes place right after the end of the anime, we get more incite into giyuus past, and his relationship with his sister.

I feel that could have been a starting point for their relationship to develop outside of just mutual comrodery, shared history, and respect for eachothers skillsets.

Their experiences are similar, and I can really see them getting closer over that. Especially after the pannel of them at the last pillar meeting. You can see that most of their(sanemis) negative feelings towards each other have blown over at this point. Theyre all thats left, all they have is each other, and they acknowledge and accept that.

The look on their faces arent that of hate, annoyance or anger. They made it out alive, together, and theyre here now to celebrate their comrades who gave their lives fighting for the cause they believed in.

After the loss of his little brother, that he never truly got to show how much he cared for, I like to think sanemi became alot more open with his feelings, and got more down to earth.

He wanted to appreciate the people in his life, and with giyuu having gone through the same thing sanemi did, they have a mutual understanding of each other. Theyre on the same grounds, and they want to be there for each other, through a feeling of obligation to the person they fought so hard beside, or through their own want for a connection with somone who understands their experiences and feelings in the same exact way they do.

It's not easy, and it's not like they hit it off immediately, but the effort is there. They would grow closer, have more intimate and meaningful moments, be eachothers rocks.

I know this will mean nothing for people who dont read the manga, and for now they just gotta be in the dark about the potential these two have. But I hate seeing people who have read the manga, and say they have no chemistry, or no chance for chemistry. Theres so much that can be done with their dynamic that people wont care to look into.

I am an avid sanegiyuu fan, I will vouch for them with my life

Kimetsu Gakuen 2008 Edition

Just a random idea inspired by Toilet Bound Hanako-Kun (kinda)

So, in Kimetsu Gakuen, there are ghosts who haunts the hallways at night, right? But no one knows their origins or where they are, except for some rumours of a certain incident.

Until the male teachers, Giyu, Sanemi, Uzui, Rengoku and Iguro found a piece of newspaper clipping while cleaning the library's storeroom.

"In winter, 2008, a great fire engulfed a large portion of Kimetsu Academy's high school division. The cause or possible perpetrators remain unknown for the moment. Police had identified seven bodies;

Four teachers, one guest who was visiting the school during the time of the incident, and two students of the school.

Other bodies found remains unidentifiable until further notice.

There were pictures of the victims, and they all recognize it as the ghosts. They all felt a chill down their spines and decided to go out for a breather... Only to find out that they are now back in the year 2008 with no way back to the present.

Worse, the date they were in was two months before the fire started.

Of course life isn't easy, because they're not thrown back in time in their own bodies. Whatever or whoever threw them in the past puts them in the body of the four teachers and one student that are soon to be dead.

So now the group of teachers have to find out a way to either go back to their time, or try and survive the fire. And probably change history while they're at it.

Giyu is Aizetsu, a gym teacher

Rengoku is Karaku, the history teacher

Sanemi is Sekido, the maths teacher

Uzui is Urogi, the art teacher

Iguro is Zohakuten, a student of the school during 2008

And he doesn’t mind if you fight back either, he thinks it’s cute you think it’ll have any affect on him (look he’s annoying okay-)

You buy him eye drops as a joke once and he gets mad but then actually uses them cause not blinking literally ever takes a toll on him-
