Heartslabyul's Surpise Birthday Party

Notes: I initially wrote this for my mutual's brithday, then forgot about the fic and now I'm uploading this days after their birthday😭😭 Characters: Riddle Rosehearts, Trey Clover and Cater Diamond Prompt: It's your Birthday!

Fresh red roses picked from Heartslabyul's garden were laid out on the brown wooden desk. The crimson-haired boy hums a tune as he wrapped the flowers into a silk white bouquet, while a small rotund plush makes its own little bouquet as a way to compete against its human self.

Decorations were held up in the lounge, small whispers crowded the room as the students talked to one another. The green-haired man placed the cake on the table, careful not to spill and ruin his precious hard work. It was a vanilla white cake decorated with velvet red roses. The base had a diamond pattern, with the Housewarden’s Coffin Crest in the middle. The second layer looked as if it had a golden cage placed on top, with a cookie shaped as the Heartslabyul Dorm Crest placed on the side. At the very top was a chocolate statue of Riddle’s tsum tsum, with a happy expression on its face.

“Do I look alright? Is my hair messed up?” The crimson haired man spoke in worry as he held the bouquet of Roses in his hands. On the other hand the cheeky ginger-haired spoke in a cheery tone “So magicammable! It’s giving The Charming Prince from the fairy tales.” He spoke as he placed the small, golden crown on the other’s head, then fixing his collar. “Matching lover rings? Check! Red rose bouquet? Check! Our housewarden’s adorbs face? Check!” Cater chuckled, placing his phone back into his pocket.

The rotund tsum however, glares in jealousy. Its bluish gray eyes staring down at him, before hopping away to its small gift box. “Oh what a cute entrance, once the dorm shouts “Surprise!”, the charming Housewarden kneels down with his bouquet in hands!” Cater giggles away, fixing the crimson-haired one’s black cape. Riddle placed his bouquet down on his desk, before looking at the velvet-red present box wrapped neatly with a golden ribbon. Thoughts raced around his mind, “What if (Name) doesn’t like it? What if they laugh at it? What if they-” His thoughts were cut off as the Vice Housewarden walked into the room. “Riddle-san, They’re coming to the dorm. Everyone’s prepared in their hiding spots.” Trey spoke, reminding the two of (Name)’s arrival and the surprise plan.

Riddle’s eyes widened as he stood up. As they approached the dormitory lounge, the lights were off as the students kept hidden in their positions. You were on your way to Heartslabyul’s Dorm building, the sounds of talking students and roses being painted over were gone, being deadly silent for such a busy dorm. Through the windows you noticed every single light was off, leaving only the dark, shadowy image of the once illuminated and vibrant hallways. There was a discreet bouncing noise right behind Heartslabyul’s Dark-green tinted glass doors, as if something was hurriedly looking for a place to hide.

“Hellooo? Is someone here???” You ask as you push open the doors, entering the Main Dormitory building. As expected, no response was heard except for another bouncing sound leading to the lounge. You scrambled to navigate your way into the dark, following the sound of something round hopping up and down. “Goodness, It’s so dark I thought I was back in Ramshackle..” You mumble underneath your breath as you touch the walls whilst you walk in the shadowy dark. Your eyes looked down to see dim light illuminated underneath the cracks of the door, before gripping the cold, golden-colored handle of a door. WIthout further ado you pushed it open.

“SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PREFECT!”

The loud cheers of the Heartslabyul dorm’s students filled the room. You were shocked, yet overjoyed. The crimson-haired Housewarden kneeled down to you, before whipping out a fancy bouquet of fresh red roses wrapped neatly with silky white wrapping paper and tied together with a red and gold-colored bow. It was going well until he felt something round jump on his head. The tsum squealed, holding out its own bouquet of roses while Riddle’s head was kept low. You looked dumbfounded at first, before giggling at the tsum trying to impress you.

The green-haired man only sighed, before helping Riddle up and guide you to the table where your cake was on. The room bustled with joy as the students talked to one another, It was a blast at Heartslabyul.

Jacob Seresin was your best friend since you were both 8-years-old. With his southern charm, wearing overalls and little boots on his feet he was your best friend. The first boy who had talked to you on your first day at a new school, anxiety-filled and upset. He had shook your hand and suddenly your worries were lifted away.

Now today, you were still closer than ever. A few rocky moments in your friendship, but you both hiked over it. Right at this moment: it was rocky. Jake was in his wife-beater, a jacket, and a pair of Levi's. He invited you to The Hard Deck, a local bar that frequented pilots and college students on Friday nights.

You and him were sitting outside on the sand, a towel on the ground. His jacket is slung against your shoulders; you lay your head against his shoulder. San Diego had fallen at a nice temperature at night calming your senses. Jake clears his throat and runs his hands down his legs. “Y/N,” He mumbles softly as you look up as he looks down at you. “I— I have to tell you something.”

“Hm?” You answer and Jake sees his hand start to shake and he clenches his muscles. “I got drafted– to Top Gun.” You smile and gently hit his shoulder. “That’s good! The best of the best. I never doubted you.” With a turn of his head you realized he was upset. It was something small he did, after years old highschool being told to not show his emotions by his school teammates.

You lay his hand on his arm and turn his face so he can look at you. “Something is upsetting you. Please tell me.” You say to Jake as he opens his mouth then shuts it. He closes his eyes and opens them and you can see the tears that prick his eyes. “I’ll be gone for six months. And— contact is limited. We only get one call a week.”

You cover your mouth and lay your hand on his neck. Jake lets out a soft sob and his face falls to your shoulder as he holds onto you with his arms wrapping around you. “It’ll be okay. I'll write to you like it's the 80s.” You joke as you attempt to lighten the situation. Jake smiles and wipes away the tears that fell on his face and drew lines.

You're staring into his eyes as you both laugh with each other. Jake stops for a second, his hand goes below your ear and against your face. You put your hand on top of his and he leans in and his lips collide against yours. You're holding on to him and let your hands go to his shoulders and hold on to him desperately.

“Promise me, that you'll call me whenever we can. And, I better get those letters!”

“Always and forever.”

Event | Sanrio characters x A3! | Chapter 1

Sakuya: Haa, that was so interesting…!

Sakuya: Thank you so much for getting tickets to the show today, Tsumugi-san!

Tsumugi: I had been wanting to see that performance, so I was more than happy to go see it with you, Sakuya-kun.

Sakuya: Me too. The actors and the play were all so cool too.

Sakuya: It was a wonderful play that made so many people happy, so I was able to learn a lot from… Huh?

Tsumugi: What is it?

Sakuya: There’s some people over there taking pictures, but what’s it for… A bromide maybe?

Tsumugi: Seems like it. Are they taking bromide photos with the theater as a background? Maybe a commemorative shoot?

Tsumugi: But that bromide looks like it has some kind of decoration on it.

Sakuya: I wonder if… That bromide is going to be kept in some kind of decorated case?

Sakuya: Now that I look at it, it seems like the others also have nameplates or card holders on their bags too.

Tsumugi: Oh. I know the little guy on that case. I think that’s… Cinnamon-kun.

Sakuya: And I think there’s Kitty-chan on that one…! Are they all cases and holders and such of Sanrio characters?

Sakuya: They’re so cute! I never knew there was stuff like that.

Tsumugi: What’s the word for this kind of thing? Umm… Stanning like it’s your job?

Sakuya: Stanning like it’s your job?

Tsumugi: Yeah, I think Itaru-kun called it something like that.

Sakuya: So that’s what it is. Everyone doing that looks like they’re having fun!

Tsumugi: Fufu, they do.

Sakuya: ? Taichi-kun, You look like you’re trying to make something happen… What’s up?

Kazunari: Actually, we were out together during the day and we found these wafers that you can get Sanrio character cards from.

Kazunari: So we bought some to try out. And we’re making a little opening video to go with!

Kazunari: Like here, I got a card with Kiki and Lala ☆ Isn’t it like so adorbs?

Tsumugi: It is quite cute. It’s only a bonus, but it’s still pretty nice.

Kazunari: Taicchan loves Pochacco. Which is why he’s over there manifesting so hard.

Taichi: Come home, Pochacco! C’mon!

Taichi: T-This is…

Kazunari: And it’s Kitty-chan!

Taichi: It’s no Pochacco! But Kitty-chan is still hella cute! Lookie, lookie!

Sakuya: Ahaha, she really is super cute.

Taichi: Mii-chan loves Kitty-chan, so I’m gonna give this card to her.

Kazunari: She’ll love it! Kitty-chan is an expert at making everyone smile ☆

Sakuya: That reminds me of when we were just out seeing a play, we saw a whole bunch of people with merch of Kitty-chan and her friends.

Tsumugi: Yeah. Everyone had different goods of their own favorite characters.

Kazunari: People have been seeing them a lot lately! Here, just look at all this stuff on Inste about it.

Sakuya: That’s amazing… There’s so many different kinds.

Taichi: I’ve seen some people even take some of our bromides and other stuff and put them in cases with Kitty-chan and her friends to take pictures of!

Kazunari: I’ve seen a lot of them with Pochacco holders~.

Tsumugi: Ah, this case on Inste is the same one that people were taking pictures of at the theater before.

Taichi: Man, seeing all these cards and merch and stuff is making me wanna meet Kitty-chan again~.

Sakuya: Eh? Meeting Kitty-chan?

Taichi: Yeah, meeting her at Puroland!

Kazunari: That’s a throwback~! I remember going to Puroland with my lil’ sis~.

Tsumugi: I had a student who I tutored that loved Cinnamon-kun, so they used to tell me all about Puroland.

Tsumugi: That kid always had the biggest smile on their face when they talked about Cinnamon-kun.

Kazunari: I get that! All the Sanrio characters are so adorable! How could you not smile while thinking about them~.

Sakuya: Umm… What kinda place is Puroland?

Kazunari: There’s a whole buncha stuff at Puroland, you can meet the characters, see shows, watch parades, and all sorts of other good stuff!

Sakuya: Characters, shows, parades… That’s amazing and sounds like a lotta fun!

Taichi: And it’s super pretty when they get all the lights on! It’s super shiny and glowy!

Tsumugi: Shiny and glowy…!

Kazunari: And the entertainer’s costumes there are so extravagant~! You can’t look away from them!

Taichi: Uue~u, I know! They’re so interesting!

Sakuya: That sounds incredible…! I’d love to go to Puroland…

Spy x Family Musical

The musical was amazingly well done. From the set to the performance!

I saw 15.03.2023 13:00 musical starring: Hiroki Suzuki; Mirei Sasaki; Miharu Izawa and Tsubasa Takizawa as Loid, Yor, Anya and Yuri.

Actual Review

The Hall:

The hall was enormous, and my seat had a good view of the stage. It was very comfortable and it didn't feel as if you were sitting for a few hours because you were too focused on the musical itself. The hall was of course full of people raging from young to old. I even supported a small Anya cosplayer. She was "tots adorbs".

The Musical:

This was my first time going to a musical and I was excited. It was separated into two acts and the transitions were very organic.

The Set:

The set was amazing. From rotating buildings to actual screens that contributed to the set. The screens were used to introduce characters, and to show us the infamous animal scene from the beloved source material. They were also used to show us the spy dialogue between Loid and Fiona and to introduce Sylvia. Special mention goes to the one screen that popped up a few times with the face of Donovan Desmond. (He looked like an Italian Mafia Boss.)

ACT 1:

Act 1 started with the instruction of the Handler and Loid. I was instantly mesmerized by Handler's voice. Not only was it similar to the anime voice actress but also it was so melodic. Hander's voice stuck in my head. It was that good. After that, we got the song of Twilight. I would like to mention that we got the infamous rumble chair from the manga and small [Redacted]. Some of the chairs from the covers do appear in the musical like Yor's Red chair. It was a small detail but it really struck me how much they incorporated it into the musical. Suzuki-san played his Loid role so well that I thought it was Loid. And his singing voice was great. He has a rich and deep voice.

Here is where I want I want to talk about how they presented their inner thoughts. They used the lighting to paint a soft dark bluish light to the others and point the white projector to the one who was having an inner thought. Sometimes characters would even do weird actions that we perceive as things in their head.

After we were introduced to Loid we were shown how Operation Strixxx came into action. The iconic “You need to find a child in a few days” line was included. Unlike in the manga, the whole talk about Operation Strixxx was between Sylvia and Loid.

The scenes flowed really nicely into one another. After that, we had a song about how Anya and Loid met one another. Anya’s actress was adorable. She captivated the character well in speech and mannerisms. She was neutral on the stage.

When Anya got kidnapped I liked how Loid’s disguise was played by another actor but we saw Loid next to him which indicated we saw his brain process too.

Also, a cute moment happened when Anya was singing about herself, about things she liked and disliked and then she said: And my favourite thing…chichi. It was so cute I could melt.

It was interesting that Eden got its song performed by Sylvia and Henderson. Their voices matched well. 95% was just singing and dancing and it was glorious.

After Anya’s successful exam, we sadly didn’t see Kento Kinouchi become a Female Franky but we saw how Franky was becoming a good uncle. When Loid went to get the stolen papers about the single females after he left Franky kicked the chair in annoyance and it was one of the funniest things I have seen. Kento brought the character to life. Goated performance.

One of the cutest scenes in this arc was Loid passing out after seeing that Anya passed and instead of laying on the ground, we saw him laying on the sofa as the scene moved flawlessly to the mailman coming and realizing Anya has no mama.

Yor appeared before the meeting of course. Kudos to the actresses playing the Horrible trio, this is the 3rd dimension where I don’t like those characters (actresses did great). There was a nice scene of Yor calling Yuri and we saw him striking his head out of the window (RED CHAIR APPEARANCE).

Yor meeting Anya and Loid was magical. The singing, the lil gremlin pulling the strings, the background music. I loved it.

They managed to combine the fighting scene with the party well. I like that we even got to see the car, even though it blinded me.

The proposal was perfect too. I like how the Hermes Bag Yor has made an appearance and after the party, Loid took Yor’s coat and then carried her bag. Precious.

The “ooting” scenes were so well made too. You could feel Loid’s desperation in his voice. Granny came to the rescue tho when she called them a “Wonderful family”.

After that, we had a wonderful song about the SSS. While they were singing about protecting their county, Yuri was singing about the fact that his sister didn’t tell him about her marriage. The song was kino tho.

Act 1 ends before the big interview.

ACT 2:

Act 2 started with a Sylvia song. I stan. Her voice is amazing and we need more Handler songs. We were introduced to the scene with Sylvia’s new jacket and Loid telling her about Anya’a achievements. The execution was on par with the anime.

The highlight of this act was the Eden Interview. I loved Henderson’s performance. It was truly elegant. And yes they did change clothes in 5 seconds it is possible. The interview was following the anime and it was really satisfying to see prof. Henderson punch the “swine” in real life. I wish I could rewind and see it again. Anya’s answers were really cute and the whole theatre was politely laughing (this is Japan after all). Another cool thing was that after we saw Yor thoughts about killing someone so Anya can move up on the Eden waiting list.

Did I mention how surprised I was when I saw the cow on stage? The cow deserves better honesty. I want to compliment Yor’s actress (or the double) for performing gymnastic tricks for us. We were as surprised as Loid.

Yuri coming to the Folgers was another peak event. I loved the whole scene. Especially Yuri calling Loid “LOTTIIEEEEE”. How dare Lottie and Yor try to kiss!? Unforgivable! It was hilarious when Yor was saying: “I forgot to tell you” and “I must have forgotten that I forgot” or something like this, Loid dropped not 1 but 2 plates. The shocked expression of Loid was worth spending money on the musical.

After that, we saw the real MVP of the show, no not Franky, but Bondman. Yeah, Bondman came out of the tiny screen for us. He managed to save Princess Honey.

Coincidently after Yuri fiasco, we were introduced to Fiona. It is the same as in the manga but it was funny to see the following convo:

>You should conceal your emotions

>So I should have a poker face all the time

>That’s not what I meant

Fiona’s actress was wonderful. I loved her performance. Fiona singing about how much she loves Loid was a bit weird. “Senpai SUKIIIIIIII” appeared and it was executed perfectly. The scene with Anya saying how much she loves Yor was adorable.

The act’s ending was shifted to the castle episode. Franky being an instigator was amazing especially when he tried to talk like Anya. We got to see a really neat fight between Yorticia and Loid. Evil Franky was precious.

The musical ended with the grand final performance, a song mirroring the opening one about “Phase 2” (Phase 2 of Operation Strixxx that is). Everyone joined it and it was so good. Kudos to all singers, back performers and the orchestra. They all did an amazing job. The whole musical was one of a kind. It was amazing and I had really good time.

Misumi: The picture of the Triangle Tenjiku is complete~! Ehehe~. I had fun drawing with Tenma~!

Tenma: Basically all I did was colour it in.

Kazunari: It turned into a super unique Tenjiku though! Everyone tried drawing the Tenjiku from their imagination… And the fantasy-filled Tenjiku, dreamy Tenjiku, and triangle Tenjiku were all totes adorbs!

Yuki: Yeah, you can clearly see what everyone likes.

Kumon: Alright, last up is Kazu-san!

Muku: I can’t wait to see what kind of Tenjiku Kazu-kun draws.

Kazunari: Hehe. I’ll draw with everything I have to meet your expectations ☆ First~…

*draws*

Tenma: …A round building?

Kumon: Huh~? I feel like I might’ve seen that building before…

Kazunari: That’s not all! Next is~…

*draws*

Kumon: Ah, an elephant!

Muku: There’s a person wearing a turban riding the elephant.

Yuki: Plus he’s holding curry.

Misumi: The elephant is adorable~.

Tenma: Hold on, this looks strangely specific.

Muku: This is… it looks like there’s lots of things related to India…?

Kumon: Ahh! I see what you mean!

Yuki: Why did you draw such an Indian-inspired drawing?

Kazunari: Fufufu… because…

*door opens*

Tsuzuru: Oh, Summer troupe’s all together? What are you guys doing?

Tenma: All of us are drawing the Tenjiku from our own imaginations.

Yuki: Everyone in Spring troupe also drew their own moon residents, didn’t they?

Tsuzuru: Ah, I see. That sounds fun.

Misumi: What kinda place to do you think Tenjiku is, Tsuzuru~?

Tsuzuru: Eh? What kind of place… Tenjiku is India, isn’t it?

Kumon: EHH!? Really!?

Tsuzuru: It’s fantasy in the story this time though.

Yuki: That’s true, but…

Muku: So Kazu-kun was drawing an Indian-inspired drawing because…

Tenma: Don’t tell me—he knew that from the start?

Kazunari: Exposed ☆

Tenma: Hey, that’s not fair!

Kazunari; Ahaha. Sorry, fam~! But it’s like Tsuzurun said. The story this time is fantasy, so it’s not India straight-up. We were able to see all the Tenjiku’s everyone thought up. And above all, it was fun. So it’s all okay!

--- Despite all of Jessicas plans of staying on the shore and pleas to the leech twins, she somehow still ended up being dragged into the ocean.

"Ahaha~! Don't worry Jade is in there somewhere~" Floyd proudly remarked as he carried Jessica over his shoulder. The water was no longer shallow enough to see the bottom, no less see any sign of Jade nearby. Jessica clenched onto Floyd's back as she yelled "No way! No way! He's not even close! Just bring me back to shore!!!" Floyd rolled his eyes, letting Jessica's words roll through one ear and out the other. He finally stopped in his tracks and pulled Jessica forward enough to be face to face.

Floyd gave a pout and frowned "You really want to go back to the shore?" Despite Floyd's puppy-like face, Jessica was firm "YES." A sinister smile got rid of any sort of faux innocence the eel had tried to show "Too bad~" Without warning, Floyd chucked Jessica into the air towards the sea. She screeched with all her might as she braced herself for the water.

"My my, have you no trust in me at all?" Barely a toe in the water, Jessica peaked an eye open to see Jade somehow managed to catch her. Meet the Death Watchs!

A squad of five crazy guys(gays):

Vags Readfang: Rune priest who can beat the shit out of anything especially his fellow space wolves but get mindfucked by the psychic bloody birb mentioned below.

Dominian Tekkaes: A blood raven librarian who is a history nerd but can beat the shit out of anything (sans psychic ability), very well deserving a terminator suit and in dire need of therapy for temper control.

Lunt Esposiepo: Imperial fist apothecarie, knows shit, has great temper, can and will beat the shit out of anything, very much married with Srasa.

Srasa Clautius: Siver skull sergent, questions shit, has not so great temper, will and can beat the shit out of anything, very much married with Lunt.

Khaemel: Blood angel who has a beautiful face(average blood angel) and always a smile(not so sincere but looks decent). Character wise, not your typical blood angel and very much want to fuck the white scar mentioned below. Plus as their captain he can absolutely beat the shit out of anything.

Another squad of five actually decent guys:

Haramq: White scar, captain of the squad, dont speak very often cuz he cant speak gothic that well and just generally dont want to speak too much, but he is adapting. Didn't think there's anything wrong with that blood angel though. Also has nice waist(remark made by such blood angel).

Nereon: Salamander librarian, a gentle giant, functions as the captain of the group, bakes cookies and provides therapy every week. The reason why this squad is peaceful.

Coraeron: flesh tearer adorb, suprisingly tame after all these years of therapy by Nereon. Absolutely knows shit and thinks Khaemel is absolutely terrifying, and very worried about his captain.

1-1. There’s nothing to really note for this one, but Kazunari actually switches back and forth between being really casual and considerably polite here. (meccha kawaikunai?! → itadakimashita → jouzu ♪ → hanaremasen). I have no idea if there’s a reason for that (maybe he’s being playfully polite to the whales??), but the polite parts are basically at the level of formality that Tsuzuru and Tsumugi use in their posts. He also doesn’t do this anywhere else in these posts

1-2. Actually there IS one thing to note, “A+ Fanservice” was actually ファンサ上手 (fansa jouzu) which is literally “great at fanservice”

2. Tenma words this sentence with a billion particles (せっかくだからってことでいるメンバーで来た), which I think is maybe supposed to together imply a tsundere-ish “we went here because the opportunity came up, not because I really wanted to see the tower or anything”? I’m not entirely sure tbh

tmm new liveblog part...2 !!! ep 7-12!!! got home sooner than expected so we are finishing TONIGHT!!!!! >:3c if u missed ep 1-6 liveblog its here!

obviously, spoilers...for this and the og series since I compare and contrast a bit at the end (I give my final thoughts at the end for the new anime overall, too!) ^^

EP 7

-OHHH the aliens new ship design looks Interesting. I see theyre just floating outside of Earth instead of some kinda inter-dimensional pocket area like they were in the original? Neat. the ship still looks super sparse, which, is weird imo. I get that on a meta level filling it w objects would take time and budget from the team doing this tho. but also I want to see their personal rooms or whatever. what do they eat. what do they do all day when they arent being menaces. -ik it happened in the original but its still very funny that deep blue basically grounded kish hahah. get grounded loser (affectionate) -ichigo's strawberry bento bag is so cute -ichigo BOOKING IT AND LEAPING A RAILING TO THANK AOYAMA FOR THE HANDKERCHIEF LMAO -and then her just awkwardly clutching his back for a full 30 seconds. I imagine he was like 'wtf' -masaya 'i cant figure out my feelings At All bc ive never Felt Them Before Now' aoyama and ichigo 'i feel SO Much So Intensely All The Time, loudly' momomiya are sO Fucking Cute I cant HANDLE anytime they speak to each other. glad aoyama initiated the next date!! -MINT LOSING HER MIND OVER ZAKURO IN UNIFORM. YES. EP 8: -my god, showing ichigo's crush on aoyama then mints crush on zakuro directly after. really hammering it home. we GET IT they are IN LOVE. -lettuce scaring the shit out of some punks I am Losing My Mind. the fact dudes like that even walked in this ultragirly cafe…pls -supposedly environmentally minded cafe mew mew goes on a cruise, smth that is notoriously Bad for the Environment. lol -aoyama whipping out those environmental facts on the fly..once again I am saying autistic king. -PUDDINGS SIBLINGS!!! CUTIES. and they gave one of them a sort of personality. thats fun -and her lil sailor hat i am crying shes adorbs -not lettuce being infused with a porpoise and getting seasick awww…poor girl -wait are all the girls (sans ichigo) wearing each others colors in dresses…thats so CUTE I love their dresses -lettuce being SO good with puddings lil siblings further enforces my headcanon that shes a teacher as an adult. fuel for me personally -ichigo u got a MAN ON LAND. getting COZY with shirogane on a BOAT. the scandal. (really tho…dancing is fun! esp with nice music! its ok to have Fun queen. THEY ARE SUCH CHILDREN. -pudding holding that fish jaw open. her POWER -BRO THAT FISH SNATCHED A CHILD. -lettuce's dive then transformation sequence was def my fav so far. beautiful animation! -did …lettuce just see a glimpse of the alien's civilization going down?? Ohhh the lore..the plot thickens…when she got close to mew aqua too. hmmm!! thats a new mew aqua power! interesting! taking notes! -YESS MERMAID FORM GOOO -YESSS LETTUCE BEING THE FIRST TO FIND MEW AQUA. she looks SO good -PUDDING BROKE THAT FISHES JAW -of course it was regular orange juice…girl did u think he actually spiked it with like. magic. -ryou is such a nice boss sometimes. pls. im not even a huge ryou/lettuce shipper but theyre cute…

EP 9: -aoyama trying to deny ichigo was his gf when the friend gave him tickets but dude. ur friend never said who he thought ur gf was. u just immediately thought of ichigo. shes totally ur gf lol -did not expect to see seiji again. hm. nice surprise hes so involved with mints life ig, just. surprised -mint u absolutely cannot leave for america. what in the world. i feel bad tho bc the mew thing isnt gonna be forever and this would help but also. mint ur RICH rich. u can prob get any job or college u want bestie -ICHIGOS PJS NOOOO THEYRE SO CUTE. her heat shaped chair and strawberry pillow too!! -all the girls gawking at aoyama like hes a zoo animal. i do the SAME THING when my friends tell me they like someone LMAO theyre so real for this scene. nosy queens -then all of them GOSSPING PLSS LMAO -keiichiro side eyeing ryou while all the girls are looking at aoyama. he sus. rightfully so -THE GIRLS ARE SCHEMINGGGG. and it being zakuros plan. obsessed -THIS IS MY MOST FAVORITE THING EVER. THE BEST 4 WING WOMENS IN THE WORLD -MINTS MAN VOICE/CONSTRUCTION COSTUME PLS -nooo old ladies lettuce n pudding…. crying over this entire sequence -ZAKURO AND AOYAMAS ENGLISH. -god they are all such good friends to each other <3 -ive never been so pissed to see kishu. ever. EP 10: -god damn I love the aliens new ship design SO much. its a creature! -kish is officially ungrounded. good for him I GUESS. -ohh, the tokyo tower stuff! is the season finale going to be a 3 ep long thing?? Very Cool -god damn the tension between aoyama and ryou. lmao -does aoyama just always grab ichigo's wrist when hes nervous? EP 11: -the aliens posing for the helicopter camera HAHA -no way…mint and zakuro on a motorcycle together….the rituals...they are intricate….. -oh more alien lore -WHAT. did they change it from them being from earth originally??? they…said their HOME planet is no more than dust storms and heat (lava??) now….thats NOT EARTH??? ohhh. interesting. dont think I like that choice…bc them being originally from earth and humans being descended from db explained why the aliens look so humanoid!!!

-perhaps the concept of them being from another planet is a lie the trio was told? (I am def thinking too hard abt it. but also why would mew aqua let her see that? ? activity from a non-earth planet?? why does it suddenly have that power??? its MAGIC WATER.) -oh my god the underground/cave cities!!! fucking line up with my fanfic/headcanons!!! I am Living -PLSSS BABY ALIENS THEY ARE SO CUTE LITTOL PATAOTOES -I do wonder why their planet chose to send (3) children. like its assumed pie as the oldest is prob not older than 17-18? right? and kish is assumedly 15-16, tart is DEF puddings age….they took an entire ship! (that from the one room weve been seeing looks EMPTY, altho maybe thats their. um. special deep blue contacting room?? ?) I wonder how many ships they had to work with, is that the only one? were they entrusting 2 teens and a child with their only ship?? surely not right?? are a lot of the older ppl sick and cant make the trip/fight, or are they busy and too vital to go, so they send the younger ppl so like, child soldiers=less risk if they happen to fail and die?? its like…a Lot of responsibility, so im Wondering. i doubt we will ever get these Answers…but I want them. (and ik the meta answer is they need to be close to the mews age for pairing purposes lol) -so if im understanding correctly, the aliens plan is to kill all humans (who they consider to be ruining the planet, ofc) then…wait on DB? so they assume DB can fix whatever they fuck up with the planet? or the aliens just simply arent affected by the pollution, which they dont seem to be, but they need the planet clean..ish... to grow food, and have livestock, right? interesting. kind of do wonder in an au where the aliens Won, WOULD he have done that, like actually been able and willing to unfuck the pollution stuff? we never really got much insight to him except that he hates humans, so maybe he wouldve? -ohh the aliens going after civilians is SMART. divide n conquer yk. maybe theyve been reading the art of war -boy if u dont shut up with those percentages -kishu stop fueling mints crisis!! fuck off!! im also indecisive as a person so it felt PERSONAL -oh zakuro got CLOSE close to tell mint not to worry rn <3 -ryoukitty…..ryoukittykissy. pls. he just LAYS INTO HER after too. EP 12: -oh my god, in the og anime kish broke her phone, which is BAD, but this time, a chimera ATE IT??? THATS SO MUCH WORSE IMO. at least with the broken phone most companies have insurance, u could prob easily get a new one!! how do u explain a MONSTER ATE UR PHONE. -god damn kish still is a lil crazy huh. i love that and respect it. itd be boring if he was nice but up until now he rly hasnt been a Huge Menace. but some of the faces hes made so far this ep. I still like the og more I think, but this one isnt bad or anything!! and the attack was amazing tbh -ryou almost had a heart attack. my headcanon of him greying before 20 is real. -ichilettuce pose near the end. cute -….I was fully expecting the blue knight to show up during that fight. season 2, I guess?? -zakumint momence near the end….sweet -OH M Y GOD THEYRE PLAYING THE SONG FOR THE FINALE. THE S O N G. A slowed version, too!! NOPE. i am weeping. I just got hit by 40000 tones of nostalgia -they didnt have to do this to me. AGH -PLEASEE MY GOD I CANT HANDLE THIS. THEYRE SO SWEET. SO TENDER. he 100% saw her ears and was being polite by covering them. -NOOO HES CRYING TOO. THEYRE SO CUTE. HE DOESNT EVEN PRESS FOR AN EXPLANATION EITHER. -and a deep blue tease! ok! kind of expected as much. OOF THOUGH that my sweetheart got me so good im still reeling. the girls mustve lost their minds when they heard that. im girls.

-overall thoughts:

-VERY good!!! there were times the animation got wonky, but that happened many times in the og anime too, so. eh. this one at least kept mostly stylistically similar, whereas in the og the faces style could change WILDLY ep from ep. this one was more like, quality changes from scene to scene but still roughly the same style. which is fine, I know how budget and time restraints are. its Understandable.

-there were other things I def liked better in the og, too, like the outfits n transformations, but the colors here were amazing, the costume colors esp worked super nice when all the girls were in the same shot, they looked awesome together!

-I love that each girl will assumedly get a turn w the mew aqua rod! and it changes color to suit each one!

-I loved the OST. So Much. def gonna have to listen to each song again

-and all of the masago moments were REALLY cute. idk, ppl who know me know I love them both a lot in the og anime and the ship. but this one, it rly felt like they let aoyama be more..shy?? I guess?? it was CUTE. also he was a damsel far more, which was also cute. really, I love Strong Catgirl GF and Awkward Normie Shy BF. (normie for NOW. season 2 when)

-the pacing was nice (I do like the og animes fillers, but I can do w/out them! it still felt fleshed out enough! things happened at a really nice pace when u watch back to back, not sure how it wouldve felt waiting a week between and digesting them more?)

-I didn't super love the changing of the aliens backstory from earth to some rando planet, or masha being the mew aqua rod?? or something?? but those are SUCH minor nitpicks honestly.

-I loved how scheme-y the girls got together. their friendship is so sweet and the best thing from the show for me. mint being the og and ichigo not being like, The Leader (yet?) but all of them feeling pretty equal standing is Nice. they rly seem like real friends and I love just. how supportive they all are of each other!! I rly do feel like they work so well together by the end of the season as a team.

-im glad they kept the animation pretty silly and let the girls make goofy funny faces!!! like, they were still cute/pretty in a lot of shots, but they kept the Silliness and Antics at a Max Level. they felt their age if that makes sense. I appreciate that

-like I KNEW what would happen, but the OST and lighting/color schemes on a lot of the scenes made me like. Genuinely Feel Panicked or Excited!!! (of course I was excited to watch)

-my god 'my sweetheart' got my blood PUMPING HEART RACING AT THE END I COULDNT BELIEVE IT. AAAAH!!!

-when is season 2 I need it NOW!!! Im still glad I waited to watch, bc now I have fanart to go thru :3 and I didnt have to wait to watch the next ep, waiting for s2 is gonna HURT. I want it SOON.

Now that they are parents, Chilli feels that it’s time they got married, so he proposes...

...and thankfully Bee accepts! They quietly elope shortly afterwards, some day their opposing views to having children will have to be addressed, but today is not that day!

Rosso and German move into a flat together in San Myshuno but it’s pricey and they’ve only just found jobs. They can barely afford a surrogate, which they have discussed at great length. Elsa Bjergsen, Gerry’s sister, has agreed to carry their child but on one condition...they move into the Bjergsen household in Windenburg. They agree to her terms, things are looking up for them!

Back at Casa Rouge, Lychee knows there’s something up with big sis!

Scarlet assures her there is nothing wrong and to look forward to her upcoming birthday!

SCARLET: Being a teenager rocks Chee, you’re gonna love it!

Still keeping her pregnancy to herself, Scarlet is suffering all alone, morning sickness is a drag and smells are beginning to tick her off!

A/N: You have no idea how much your message and request made my day. Also, sorry this is so so late ;3; I went on hiatus because of school and just never ended up updating my blog. Hope you’re still on tumblr and are able to see this! <3 This has been sitting in my drafts for months now. lol

Tobio didn’t think much about what other people thought when it came to his relationship with you. What other people thought of him or his girlfriend was irrelevant, really the only things that mattered to him were dominating the court and your precious smile, it was as simple as that.

He was at his favorite vending machine, grabbing something to tide him over before practice started. That was when he heard the familiar musing of Tanaka and Noya by the front doors of the gym. Whatever they were saying rolled off his shoulders like water off duck feathers until he heard your name being mentioned. His eyes shifted and he could feel his shoulders tense as he leaned down to grab his snack.

“I don’t know how Kageyama landed such a cutie,” Tanaka fumed, as much as he could without Daichi reprimanding him for saying such things about his own teammate. “I didn’t even know the guy could flirt with girls. I just thought the only things he knew how to do were play volleyball and pick fights with Hinata.”

“She’s so bubbly and has a cute personality too,” Noya said, walking with his arms folded behind his head. “Meanwhile, you have Kageyama who can’t smile without scaring people away.”

“Come on,” Daichi reprimands the two, annoyed. “Why can’t you be happy for him like everyone else?” Tobio watched from around the corner as the three disappeared into the gym and hung back for a moment to process their words. His lips pressed into a thin line as he turned around to walk back to class. Did his teammates really feel that way, like you two were not a good match?

If it had just been his teammates, perhaps he wouldn’t have dwelled on that uncomfortable idea for longer than he should. The one where he wasn’t the best suited for you. Was there someone out in the world that could possibly make you happier than himself? They were small comments that added to a heavy weight on Tobio’s conscience. It was something that he had never noticed before until then, the way people talked about you two.

“Y/n-san is too nice to be dating that mean-looking guy from the volleyball club, don’t you think?”

“I heard he pressured her into their first date. Now she’s stuck in a relationship with him.”

“Every time I look he has some kind of scowl on his face. How could y/n-chan date someone like that?”

“He is a cold, guy.”

Tobio wasn’t normally the type of guy who lingered on people’s words. At some point, it became clear to anyone that was close with him, that Karasuno’s #9 was distracted. You were the first to take notice, that your boyfriend was more quiet than he usually was. Tobio only enjoyed talking about so many things, so it wasn’t abnormal for you two to enjoy silence when in each other's company. But you noticed small things, like the way his hands wound up into fists so tightly his knuckles would turn white, or the way his shoulders would tense without any provocation.

You wait until the weekend. He comes to your house to study, because the boy really needs all the help he can get when it comes to his homework. “Tobio,” you call to him, for the fifth or sixth time in a row, trying to break through the thick brain-fog your boyfriend has found himself in. He blinked, large blue eyes drifting to your face when he realizes you’ve been talking to him. “Y/n..”

“Is everything okay?” Your brows furrow in worry, your own thoughts about what might be going on were far worse. “You’ve been acting.. not yourself.”

“Do you think I’m…” his face scrunched up, Kageyama was still learning to be vulnerable with you. He wasn’t very emotional and was often terse when communicating. “A cold guy?”

“... A what?” you asked after a long pause, feeling the corners of your lips twitch into the beginnings of a small smile.

“Do you think of me as unkind or… unfeeling? I know I’m kind of an abrupt guy but…” his words trailed off, when his eyes went back to admire your face.

“Is that what has been on your mind lately?”

“..Y-yeah…”

You close the distance between you two and reach over to take his hand, letting your fingers lace between the empty spaces of his own. His hand is shaking which just makes you smile more, you think it’s cute that he gets so nervous whenever you touch him like this. “I don’t think you’re like that at all. You’re always gentle and sweet with me, Tobio.” He seems relieved by your words, his hold on your hand is gentle, always keenly aware of how much stronger and larger he is than you.

“Different people express themselves differently,” you say sagely and Tobio is paying rapt attention to every word. “You’re devoted to the things that make you happy. Like volleyball.. well, and me I hope!”

“Y-yes!” Tobio couldn’t get the word out fast enough. Color is flushing his cheeks and over the bridge of his nose and the sight just makes you giggle. “You make me very happy.”

“Then that’s all the matters, right?” you question him with an innocent tilt of your head. After a little deliberation on it, he nods in agreement with you. He forces a sigh from his nose and you smile as you see the tension begin to leave his shoulders.

“Want to go get some yogurt?”

“Y-yeah..”
