Just a Normal Genshin Impact Game Time... Is it?
This SAGAU fanfic was actually created like a year ago (March 15, 2023), but decided to redo this again. This was created during the time I was still Venti-less, so this one was like a story of me trying to cope at that time.
And yes, my latest fanart coincidentally fits this story too! I just stumbled on this back when I tried to scroll on my drafts while waiting for the fanart to be posted.
CW: blood, violence, and murder. Be warned.
Tumblr media
You were just playing Genshin Impact on your computer like any other day, just doing the usual stuff you always do every time you login like doing the daily commissions and farming domains to build your characters.
One day, after doing your usual Genshin dallies for the day, you decided to take some scenic pictures with your current team on board and explore Teyvat to look for random chests and hidden quests you may miss. You know, to pass the time and possibly scrounge for primogems to farm for your favorite character.
But as you try to explore the place while trying to find a good spot to take pictures, you couldn't shake the feeling that something is wrong, that something or someone was watching you.
You were confused at first, on why you are feeling like that. But you just shrugged, as you may think you just had too much coffee. After all, you love coffee to the bone.
As you took Kokomi to a scenic place somewhere in Mondstadt, you had noticed something strange that was hidden by a canopy of trees, few meters behind the current character. You squinted a little bit, your eyes still trying to figure out the culprit of your distraction.
There was a figure hidden behind the trees.
------
At first, you mistook it as a rock or something inanimate but you then noticed that it was actually a person when it moved. It was not an NPC or random animal, but an actual playable character. After all, you could recognize that outfit even from afar, as Genshin Impact characters had some unique styles that were fit for their personalities and status.
It was Venti, hiding in a tree from far away, with eyes glaring at you.
Your heart nearly burst out of your chest when you saw him as you quickly exit the camera mode, trying to find some explanation of why he was there, to begin with. Maybe there's an event that he had been with?
You checked the quest menu to check for any Mondstadt-related events that you probably never finished, but to your horror, there was nothing. You looked at some guides online, some clues onto why he was there, that there may be an event from other nations that had him as a guest, but to no avail. You remembered that you already did his story quest and the quests that he was actually involved in-game. Maybe it's a glitch?
With a shaky grip, you closed the quest menu and stared at the same spot again. Venti was still there behind the tree, watching you with soulless eyes.
You were shaking in fear as you were also staring at him.
As you were still frozen on your seat, trying to make sense of everything, the figure dressed as Venti suddenly pointing something at your Kokomi, his soulless eyes still looking at your terrified ones, like he was a rabid dog vying for attention.
You suddenly recognized what he was trying to do. He was pointing out his former signature weapon, the iconic Skyward Harp, at you.
"Wait, isn't the Elegy of the End his new signature weapon?" You muttered out as your mind had tried to remember about Venti. You were a fan of him, so it would be in your forte to remember every single detail about him.
You remember that even his weapon was already changed to Elegy of the End during his consecutive reruns due to the new bow fits his kit than Skyward Harp, the latter was still his signature weapon in lore.
In the corner of your eye, you noticed something weird once again, this time on the map.
Apparently, the map shows you that there is a second player on the map, and that player was near your vicinity. You widened your eyes as you remembered that you didn't do any co-op with a Venti main recently and you don't even have a Venti. And to your horror, even your co-op mode wasn't even turned on!
------
You had remembered that you always wanted Venti, but due to your impatient nature, you had decided to build pity and accidentally won Kokomi twice on the last day of her banner. You got C1 Kokomi instead.
Unfortunately, Venti's banner was next and you regretted that he never came home. You had lost your 50/50 to your very first Qiqi at 75 pulls... At the end of his rerun banner.
...this is weird and unsettling, so you decided to quit the game, but to your horror, you can't even access the damned menu, soft locking you out.
As you saw Venti's creepy smile while he was sadistically hitting your main team with his anemo-infused arrows, you were horrified at what happened next.
You watched your entire team being stabbed by his arrows, blood splattering on the screen like a grotesque painting, and your current team crying for mercy and help as they were hit by the arrows the Anemo Archon in disguise had been aiming at them and they were frozen in spot because of some twisted form of code that the game had, instead of them doing their usual lines while being on low HP or fallen down. And you couldn't even make them run by pressing the buttons to move the character you currently have because you're frozen in fear as you saw the character pleading for you to make them run away from the crazed fellow using your keyboard and mouse but you didn't. You didn't even help them survive.
You remembered that characters that had fallen down were supposed to turn into glowing white dust instead of this... bloody mess you were witnessing.
This isn't right!
It was like you were playing a horror game rather than a simple open-world RPG game.
Then while the carnage was happening, there is an in-game text that was showing up while this is happening, of Venti still happily singing his ballads while doing the unthinkable. As if he was gleefully watching you squirm.
You couldn't help but close the game in a blink of an eye after you witnessed the scene by trying to turn off the computer and decided to never touch the game again. Thankfully, your computer turned off, but it had left you traumatized.
You decided to uninstall the game after rebooting the computer. The usual uninstall window had appeared with a picture of a chibified Amber crying showed up and a message about asking if you were really uninstalling the app, as if beckoning you not to delete the game, but you insisted and still pressed the uninstall button.
You decided to leave your room while leaving the computer to do its duty to uninstall the cursed stuff, but after you went outside for some fresh air, the uninstall window that was supposed to show a chibified Klee signifying the game had been uninstalled, glitched for a second.
Venti's creepy smile was seen in a split second on the entirety of the computer screen instead of the window with Klee, with some words written in glitchy Teyvatian language then in glitchy English that was flickering in the screen before it turns normal once again.

The Exciting Chronicles of The Shapeshifter & The Eccentric Gentleman
I / II (You're here) / III / IV / V
Tumblr media
As a child, you would wait And watch from far away But you always knew that you'd be the one That work while they all play
In youth, you'd lay Awake at night and scheme Of all the things that you would change But it was just a dream
(Warriors, Imagine Dragons)
Words: 2.2k
Weeks would pass since that day. The shapeshifter, who would later be named Mercy, was trained rigorously to utilize their powers constructively; simultaneously, their abilities would grow stronger with some exercises from Numbers Four, Five, and Seven.
Mercy would quit trying to romance Number One. Reading his mind after assuming his form the second time made them realize he didn’t desire romance in general. As someone who became him, naturally Mercy would understand and respect his reasons.
After a month and a half of routine, Mercy became skilled and powerful enough to not only shapeshift into beings of unfathomable power, but also act as them too. To a normal person, they wouldn’t be able to tell the real from fake. Ordinarily, this would take at least a year, but thanks to their intervention it accelerated.
Now, Mercy found themselves sitting in a dark room in front of a screen; Number One finished setting up the projector, turned it on and manifested a pointer stick.
One pointed at an image of a red X. “So here’s the situation.”
Mercy nodded. One clicked and the image changed to a colored sketch for a hulking, green figure. It had a horned skull for a head and three eyes with yellow glowing pupils. Its ‘cloak’ was made out of grass, decorated with various flowers they couldn’t be bothered to try to name. The number next to it told them it was 9 feet tall. Compared to it, they were a measly 5 foot 5 inches.
One poked the screen at it. “I need to get an audience with them.”
Mercy vaguely felt their jaw drop. This…this creature-no, entity was surreal; it looked like it leapt out of someone’s amazing imagination and uprooted an entire garden for its cloak. No, cape…? In any case it looked fantastical. Mercy found it pleasant to look at.

“This is Creator #AQ-120, but refer to them as Eldritch for simplicity. Eldy for short.” One retracted the pointer stick and chucked it behind him. “They’ve been at the ‘game’ for long enough that they know enough about the big picture that their knowledge is critical to my objective.”
Mercy raised their hand. “And what is the big picture?”
One grinned. “I’m glad you asked.”
The slide changed to show the words “SAGAU PHENOMENON” in bold black letters. General questions asking about it were scattered throughout. One pointed to the title. “Finding out what is causing this-this anomaly and putting a stop to it once and for all! I’m confident Eldy already knows what’s happening and I suspect something or other is preventing them from acting on it. So I thought I’d gently ask to take the reins from them.”
One summoned the pointer stick back in his hand. “The problem is Eldy is heavily guarded by cultists and priests. Especially this one lunatic: Rex Lapis. He’s not only a highly dedicated and religious god, but also the oldest and most experienced.”
The slide changed to show a tall, handsome man in white robes and a hood; despite that, two branch-like horns tipped with amber hues poked out of it. His face was immaculately sculpted with a nice jawbone and his captivating eyes with amber irises. He looked like a combination of a dragon and a human, the latter moreso.
Mercy stared into those hypnotic eyes. It was almost a crime how handsome he looked. Fortunately, One changed slides and tapped on an image of an elaborate temple. “This is where Eldy is living, or rather staying. The Temple of the Omnipotent Emperor is usually highly guarded 24/7. Only acolytes are allowed to enter, and the place is crawling with guards.”
Number One sighed. “It would be ideal if we could simply schedule a meeting face-to-face with them, but to them we’ll be perceived as complete strangers with no social standing or power. Furthermore, their guest log is practically full all the time. Scheduling anything with them is an impossibility; we’ll be put on the waitlist if we even try.
And then One smiled like a devious tactician who already thought of contingencies for their master plan. “Which is why we have to resort to more clever methods to set up a meeting. I present to you: Operation: Masked Fools. You’re the mask and I’m the fool, just to clarify.”
Mercy arched an eyebrow. “What an interesting thing to call it.”
“I know! Sometimes my naming sense is genius,” One laughed lightly. Mercy rolled their eyes with an easy smile. “It’ll be simple. We’ll be pulling a Spiderman: into the spiderverse nigh-end scene; in other words we’ll disguise ourselves as one of the acolytes, avoid unnecessary characters, acquire an audience in private, and leave before anyone notices.”
“You’re missing an awful lot of details. Like, what happens if we run into someone like Rex anyway? Or-or what if Eldy isn’t even there in the first place?” asked Mercy.
“Then we hide our presence, or act natural! And if Eldy isn’t there then we ask around, get our answer, and then teleport to them!” One said without missing a beat.
Mercy frowned. They still weren’t satisfied. “What happens if there’s like, an object that cancels my ability to shapeshift?”
“Then you hide while I find it and shut it down.”
“Well, what if Eldy calls us out while we’re disguised?”
“I…teleport us into a private room, put on my charm, and reassure them we mean no harm!”
“Right, like you have charm in the first place,” snarked Mercy.
One put a hand on his chest and spoke in mock hurt. “How dare you! I’m practically oozing with charm, thank you very much!”
“Ha! Liar! I’ve been in your mind. Would you like me to recount the first time you tried to flirt with a woman?” Mercy cheekily said.
One puffed out his cheeks. He didn’t dare say anything to dignify that statement. Mercy smirked with the energy of a cat that had found the bag of cat food all by itself.
“Let’s just move on,” One said, slightly disgruntled. The slide showed what looked like a throne room. “This is where Eldy is during the day. Normally, there’s a translator by their side to translate what Eldy says; they speak in a different language apparently, but it would be better if we were alone.”
“You’re saying…you know how to speak their language.”
“Yes. Next, we need to make sure that nobody interrupts us. To accomplish that, I’ll set up a mid-level perception filter around the room so that nobody will even think of entering. Think of it as a censor for the mind, one that reassures it that everything is ordinary,” explained One.
He tapped his forehead with the stick. “Finally, after I get the answers I need, we teleport out, get back home, and review what we learned. Okay! Briefing over.”
One clapped twice and the lights turned on; the projector turned off as well. One stretched his arms. “I suggest you get a nap and catch some sleep while you can, Mercy. We’ll be deploying early in a couple days.”
“Understood.”
///
That night, Mercy laid in bed awake. They stared up at the ceiling with a thoughtful expression. Memories of today’s briefing stuck with them like a fly caught in a tape trap. It just refused to settle down. They tossed and turned yet nothing seemed to help. Not even counting sheep.
Ugh. Fine. With a defeated groan, they got up and out of their room but not before grabbing a white and black hoodie. Mercy quietly crept down the hallway, down the stairs, and out the door. They shut it silently, then examined the nightly scene before them.
Before them was a place that was still in its early stages; when Noraa (Number Four’s name, given after earning his trust) offered to shelter them, they accepted with a promise to assist him however they could. Thus, they’d move and attach bricks, turn boulders into rubble, and generally clear the way. A dozen buildings, including a moderately sized castle, served as the homes for those who lived here.
This was the Kingdom of Delusion and while Noraa could call it home, Mercy…had a ways to go until they felt settled.
With that in mind, they started trekking along the beaten path. Hopefully all of this excess energy will just go away as I walk…
It would have to be a short walk as they didn’t want to stay up too long. A glance upwards showed the moon nearing its peak in the sky. That and the stars shining above made for a rather beautiful sight. Their chest felt light like a balloon as they let their feet guide them towards a circular clearing in the middle.
This was the site for the future town square. Although only hollow shells for buildings were here, at the very least there was a simple fountain. Mercy sat on the smoothened stone. They looked down at the water below. It was as clear as a mirror.
The shapeshifter (Mercy took to calling themselves that after hearing it countless times from them all) examined their appearance. After several days of experimenting with it, they were satisfied with their current form: A round head with a flat chin, light gray medium hair with bangs short enough that a pair of heterochromatic eyes peeked out; the right was orange and the other was blue.
They had a build that was well-built yet had the right amount of fat (plump was what Number Six described it). Thanks to their head shape they looked androgynous. Overall it felt pleasing to look at.
Mercy shivered. They rubbed their hands to try to warm themselves-
-only to have a coat get wrapped around their shoulders.
Startled, they swiftly turned around to discover a tall young man with short, jade green hair, slightly tanned skin, and light green eyes in his nightwear. He wore a neutral expression as he opened his mouth. “Couldn’t sleep?”
Mercy withdrew into the coat. “...No.”
“Mm,” was all he said. He opened his right hand and a metallic staff manifested. Noraa casually pointed the tip to his left palm and a dotted white beam fired. A cup of milk appeared in his grasp. “Warm milk?”
Mercy stared at it briefly what the f- before moving to take it. “Thank you.”
“You’re welcome,” replied Noraa. He made himself another one and sat down right next to them.
The duo silently drank their cups of warm milk. They savored its warmth and taste as much as they could. Once finished, Noraa took both empty cups and made them disappear via staff. Mercy found themself staring at it.
It looked ordinary enough with a long jade green handle, but near the tip was where it started looking interesting. Inserted into a slot was an orange cube with a diamond gray panel that had five glowing square lights; the cube was big enough like a decently sized watermelon. There was a small barrel at the top where the beam came out of “Where’d you get that?”
The edges of Noraa’s lips pulled up. “Mm. Built it myself. I was inspired after I saw someone else’s.”
“I see. So you basically wanted a cool magic staff.”
Noraa nodded. “Don’t we all, at some point, want to pick up a stick and pretend to cast spells with it?”
“I guess. It sounds fun.”
“It is…” Noraa agreed. They both looked up at the starry sky. Neither said a word for what felt like hours. Mercy felt as calm and clear as a tranquil pond of water completely untouched, unsoiled. It was a nice moment, one they'd treasure.
They inhaled, savoring the pureness of the air when Noraa said something that caught her off guard.
“Mercy,” he licked his dry lips. “If you don’t mind me asking, what will you do after this?”
Blank. That was their mind. Nothing came up immediately so they said that. Mercy looked at Noraa who was still looking up. “Why do you ask?”
“It’s just…I thought I’d bother asking since we know this is a one-time thing. This operation will benefit us, but I realize that it doesn’t benefit you at all. I mean, at least in the long run,” he explained. He looked at them with a face that screamed ‘worry’. It was something he did often; it was how he showed he cared. Mercy teased him by calling him dad. That made him stop doing it, at least for a while.
But back to the topic at hand. “I’m content with helping One at the moment. Once I fulfilled my end of the deal, I figured I’d just go out there and find myself. Do it the tried and true way.”
Noraa tilted his head as he processed that. “Yeah…okay. Valid.”
He covered a yawn. “Well, I’m gonna tell ya this right now: If you ever feel yourself in need of a safe space whenever your journey starts to wear ya down, my door’s always open.”
Mercy blinked. “That’s…actually very sweet of you.”
“Don’t mention it.” Noraa clicked his tongue. He stood up and stretched. “Mm, on that pleasant note, I think I’m gonna hit the hay. The milk’s kicking in. Want a lift?”
“Sure.” Mercy hopped off their seat. Noraa put a hand on their shoulder. Thanks to his staff, they disappeared and reappeared inside his house. As Mercy climbed the stairs they called out one final time. “Good night, grass head.”
“Good night to you too, dingus.”
“Snake eyes.”
“Vegetable.”
“That one didn’t make sense.”
“Good night.” Noraa marched off to bed.
Mercy chuckled quietly before doing the same.

A/N: @idkfitememate
This is mostly a set-up chapter plus some filler. A part of me thought it was a good idea to give a glimpse into Mercy’s bonds with two of the people who helped them adjust to life outside the mirror; after a month and a half of hands-on training it’s only logical for one to forge such a tight-knit bond.
I hope you enjoyed that slice-of-life bit because next is the exciting part. And I have enough action sequences stockpiled to draw upon. ;)
I've been wanting to write more on SAGAU somehow. This was my plan. The SAGAU Phenomenon is an ongoing anomaly where "countless human souls are prevented from passing peacefully; they are instead reincarnated or transported into Teyvat, totally unprepared for any trials. Depending on what kind of universe they're in, they will either thrive or perish." This is an original thing I came up with.
I wanted to make Mercy have an androgynous appearance since they can literally become anyone, any gender, etc. It makes sense from a design standpoint. As the first character I’ve ever written to hold that status, it felt easier since I had sources to draw upon (looking at you Pidge Voltron & Double Trouble She-ra). For their name, I spun a wheel with four choices: Halcyon, Mercy, Mica, and Blake. No guesses as to which one won.
Reblogs, questions, comments, and critiques are welcome (don’t be shy y’all!)

The Exciting Chronicles of The Shapeshifter & The Eccentric Gentleman

My patience is waning
Is this entertaining?
Our patience is waning
Is this entertaining?
(Bones, Imagine Dragons)
Words: 2.4k
Number One opens the door and quietly steps inside; behind me, it shuts with a soft click. There’s grass beneath his shoes.
Scratch that, there’s grass everywhere.
Observing his surroundings, it looks like there’s a miniature forest here. Grass seems to have grown from underneath the floorboards. Seedlings are sprouting not just from the floor but the walls as well and the sweet scent of flowers permeates the air (it’s almost nauseating). Birdsong can be heard from somewhere further in.
Directly in front of him is some kind of object that used to be a bed; now it’s more like a nest made from grass. Further beyond that is a hallway that goes right where the birdsong is coming from. Also, there’s an open balcony with a view a couple feet from the ‘nest’.
Suddenly, he felt out of place, like a snake slithering through the garden of some nobles’ garden. The analogy is almost appropriate because it makes him grin. Walking towards the hallway, he turns and finds a…creature hunched over in front of a table of food.
This…mass of grass held up by Celestia-knows-what and bones is staring at…a hot dog and some bento. It’s almost funny. Number One leaned against the wall, put on the most charming grin he could and dropped his perception filter. Just as they reach down to pick it up, he chooses that moment to make himself known.
“Golly! That sure does look tasty!” he said cheerfully. They make a choking noise. Their meal is swiftly forgotten in favor of finding out who said that, aka me.
All five eyes are on me now. Showtime.
“Greetings my delightfully eldritch fellow! I come in peace!” They open their mouth and his ears are assaulted with a freakin’ heavenly choir.
“¿noʎ ǝɹɐ ʞɔnɟ ǝɥʇ oɥM” Their voice sounds both male and female combined and angelic and demonic. Delightful.
He bowed his head in respect. “My apologies my good man-er, woman…beast? Creator. I’ll go with that. My apologies to my good creator, but I’m afraid I don’t understand you. A moment, if you will allow.”
And then he snapped his fingers. There’s a small change in the air, but only those such as myself and them could feel it. Eldy sniffs the air. “What did you-holy shit I can talk normally again!”
“Yes! Call me Number One. I’d like to discuss something much bigger than the both of us. A grave emergency that concerns not only you, but those in a similar situation,” I explain. Shaking his head, I add, “I hate to sound dramatic, but I’m telling it how it is. Though it’s not as serious as what you’re probably imagining.”
Eldy is listening intently. One goes on with his spiel. “Throughout the Imaginary Tree-yes that Imaginary Tree-” They look at me confused. “Wait, do you not know what that is? Ugh, fine. I am here to inform you that there are others like you caught in a leadership role that they have no experience in.”
When they don’t interrupt him, he continues. “After half a year of observation, I’ve declared it my intent to rescue those who’ve been thrust into more…risky scenarios. Imagine this: you wake up lying on a grassy field instead of your bed. You get your bearings when suddenly a bunch of familiar video game characters walk toward you, announce that you’re their long-lost god, and proceed to worship you like a bunch of cul-excited followers.”
“Does this sound familiar?” he asks, testing the waters.
Eldy just nods in lieu of an answer. “But that’s not where it ends. These innocent people soon realize they’re out of their depth; the Seven Nations all flock toward them in fealty. They can’t meet every demand no matter how earnest or hard-working they are. Eventually their ruse would be discovered and they’d be executed.”
He shakes his head in shame and sorrow. “There are those who are hunted down because they looked similar to their god. Some survive, and are forever traumatized for the rest of their life. These are the ones that suffer the most, the ones whose injustice I can’t stand. I wish to help them, and to do that I need your knowledge.”
There’s a tense unsureness in the air now. He knows it’s time to wrap this up. “I know we’ve only just met, but I humbly ask as a fellow being with empathy and decency for your guidance. I know that you have been looking into the multiverse in your spare time, researching this anomaly. Please, share what you know with me and I promise you that I will put a stop to this once and for all.”
Number One bows ninety degrees to hide his frown. “I know what I request sounds big, but all I need from you is to tell me what you know of the anomaly.”
///
As the door closed, Mercy had already shapeshifted. They became taller, their hair grew to waist-length and became colored white; it automatically braided itself too. Their clothing morphed into a black bodysuit with a white-gray sleeveless qipao top over it. Their boots became open-toed heels. When they looked down they found their arms were quite longer than usual.
Mercy walked over to a nearby window. What stared back was a young woman with snow white hair and pale iridescent eyes. Oh. She’s truly a beautiful specimen. Specimen? Spec-ugh, I need to stop hanging around Number Two. He’s infecting me with his diction.
“Anyway, time to pretend to stand guard and not let anyone in. Taking in Shenhe’s homicidal tendencies, she will act as the perfect deterrent,” Mercy said to themself in the disciple’s voice.
Thus, Mercy crossed their arms and stood in front of the door with a stoic expression. They knew it wouldn’t take long for Number One to ask for permission; Mercy figured it would take approximately ten minutes. Now, how to occupy oneself? The shapeshifter tapped their foot. This shouldn’t be too difficult…
Before they realized it, they began to hum a song. “Think of these thoughts as limitless light exposing, closing circuitry of fright/Think of each moment holding this breath as death minute in decimal…”
From what they could piece together about it, the song was supposed to be about some guy who allegedly murdered his girlfriend. Then they pleaded guilty via insanity in court and were sentenced to shock therapy. The whole thing was morbid, but there was something interesting within it. Mercy kept humming it to themself. At least the beat is catchy.
Several minutes later Mercy sensed someone up ahead. Turning the corner was a pair of teenagers; one had blue hair while the other had white hair. Upon further observation, they looked to be friends; currently they were in passionate discussion about…something related to exorcisms?They were so fixated on it that they didn’t notice Mercy until White-Hair bumped into them.
“Oh! I’m sorry, I didn’t see you-huh!? Aun-auntie Shenhe?” exclaimed White-Hair. He looked at“Shenhe” from head to toe like some sort of inspector. “What are-what are you doing here?”
“What do you mean? Is it not necessary for the Creator to have someone bodyguarding their quarters?” Mercy replied in an emotionless voice.
Blue-hair looked at White-hair with a curious expression. He leaned in close to his ear and spoke in a hushed voice. “Chongyun, didn’t you say your aunt would be working at Wanmin’s while Xiangling is out?”
Chongyun grunted. “Of course! She even told me this morning herself!”
Uh-oh, better make up an excuse to cover my tracks. What was the restaurant’s owner’s name again? …Oh, right! “Mr. Mao informed me that, ‘because business was going slow for the day, I could clock out early,’. That was what he told me. I figured I deserved an early shift, so that’s what I did.”
“Oh, I see. Well then, could we possibly greet the Creator? We know that it’s currently the time they eat breakfast, but we were wondering if we could ask them a quick question,” Chongyun explained.
“It’s very important that we do!”
Chongyun gave a flat look. “Xingqiu, asking Them if they want to practice martial-arts with you is going to get us in trouble-get you in trouble!”
Xingqiu crossed his arms and looked away indignantly like someone who’d been read like an open book. “I must disagree with you my friend. I simply wish to ask! Should they deny my request, then I will take my leave with no further complaint.”
His exorcist friend put his hands on his hips, clearly unconvinced. Before he could get a word out, Mercy interjected into their conversation.
 “No means no. I’m afraid you two will have to wait until Their Grace is finished with their meal.” Please go away now, you’re bothering me.
Xingqiu opened his mouth to try again, only for Chongyun to cover it with his hand. The latter shook his head without a word; Xingqiu sighed dejectedly and accepted the silent message.
The young exorcist nodded to “Shenhe” before he turned around, led Xingqiu down the hall and turned the corner. Mercy counted to ten before they dropped their facade. With a sigh, they covered their face with their hands.
“That was…an experience. Gosh, I thought those two would never leave,” they muttered. Mercy wiped their palms on their pants. I wonder if Number One’s done yet. I’m not sure if I can handle being in the spotlight again…
Crash
The almost muted sound of porcelain hitting the floor made them snap their head to the door. Just what was going on in there?
///
SEVERAL MINUTES EARLIER…
Number One and Eldy were sipping tea on the balcony.
Number One casually sipped from a teacup while sitting cross-legged in front of Eldy. “So tell me, what are your current projects? I’m excited to hear what someone as great and powerful as you has planned for this Teyvat’s future.”
“Ah, well you know. A bunch of societal reforms are currently in the works,” they replied with a shrug of their leafy coat. Geo crystalflies had gathered in their branches to rest.
“Like what?” Number One asked curiously.
“Uh-something about banning plastics? I think-I think Neuvillette mentioned something about the waters in Fontaine being polluted the other day.” They made wild gestures in the air. “And then while having my weekly tea with Zhongli, I told him ‘no more sacrificing convicts in my name! I don’t like it!’. It took a while to convince him about it though.”
“Saving life because you think it’s precious. I can respect that.”
They shuffled their feet. “Uh, sure.
“Ah…plastic consumption. Yes, such a devilishly difficult issue to tackle…” the gentleman said thoughtfully. Another sip. “Again, I feel I must apologize for my enthusiasm earlier. I’m supposed to follow protocol, for your information, and be polite about these things. We’re rather…hm, we’re what one might call a stickler for the rules we made.”
Eldy grunted. “Well, good for you guys…”
Number one’s smile was thin. “Hm…alright. I think that’s enough pleasantries. I think it’s time you told me what you know of the SAGAU phenomenon.”
“I..what do you want me to say exactly?” Eldy said with an impatient tone. “All I know is that, back in my old world, SAGAU was nothing more than cheap isekai fanfics and cult aus. Even now, I’m still adjusting to the revelation that it was all real. I haven’t even researched whatever you were talking about-”
CRASH
Number One’s teacup fell to the floor. He was grinning, but there was no mirth in it. His voice sounded like the last strings of patience were snapping.
“Do you mean to tell me,” he said through gritted teeth. “That during these last several months, you’ve been doing nothing besides pretend to be a god, go on dates with Rex Lapis, and live as some kind of glorified pet!?”
“I-I…!” Eldy shrank into themselves like a turtle. The crystalflies sensed their owner’s anxiousness and flew out of the window. “Not…no…!”
“I grow desperate. Please tell me you know something useful. Innocent people are dying in other worlds while you are living a cushy life!” Number One said passionately. His bangs began to float to reveal yellow eyes with multiple red rings inside them.
Eldy said nothing. Instead they silently stared in awe.
////
Mercy was about to open the door when they felt the air begin to charge with energy. Behind them, they heard hurried footsteps. Several pairs of footsteps in fact. Without missing a beat, they immediately changed their form. They shrank until they were about two heads smaller than their original size.
Aw shit. They internally cringed when a hooded figure wreathed in an amber aura appeared followed by several more acolytes; his tail undulated captivatingly. Why him?
Zhongli aka Rex Lapis aka Morax strode up to them. Despite their being several crystalflies perched on his horns, it didn’t reduce the slightly oppressive presence around him. The old god stared at them in half curiosity and confusion. “Barbatos. Move aside.”
“Barbatos” opened his mouth. “Ehhh why the rush? I just finished paying a quick visit to our Emperor. Surely I didn’t intrude on anything important, it’s just breakfast after all!”
“None, but we have reason to suspect the Creator is in danger.”
“For real? Well in that case, allow me to check on them!” “Barbatos” opened the door just enough to slip through it. He gave a mischievous smile to the others before they could realize what happened. “I’ll be quick!”
SLAM
Mercy shifted back into their own form. “Number One we need to leave. Now-wait, what the hell?”
The gentleman was in front of the creator and floating above them; he was pointing at their skull-head. A chain connected his index finger with their head. Neither said anything to each other. They were just looking into each other’s eyes. It was almost creepy to look at. But Mercy shook their head; they were out of time.
“Number One!” they yelled with as much urgency they could muster. That did it. The chain abruptly snapped and retracted back into Number One’s index finger. Eldy landed on their knees.
He stared at them with a spooked look (huh, what cool eyes he has). “Mercy?”
“Morax is here-” they began.
Before they could explain further, the door behind them was blown off its hinges with a burst of Geo energy. The shapeshifter crashed into the gentleman and both were sent flying out and off the third floor.

A/N: Shenhe’s appearance description from wiki & Outfit
I like cliffhangers, especially the kind when they make one ask, “Oh no, they’re probably gonna get it in the next chapter!”. It makes one wonder just what sort of thing they’ll do to get out of it.
In hindsight, Number One had this preconceived image of Eldy. One could say his entire plan hinged on whether or not they knew of the SAGAU phenomenon. So what does he do when he doesn’t find what he needs? He dislikes going back empty-handed so he’ll find something else to get some usefulness out of. I’ll discuss & explore this more in the next chapter, but before I do I’d like to state that Number One cares an awful lot about others (This'll make sense later).
In fact, we’ll get to see more of that side next chapter.
Speaking of the next chapter, it’s gonna take four more days to write fyi. The reasons for this is that 1) I’m burnt out atm and need to recharge somewhat, and 2) I need to go over my research on how to write action sequences. I want this ending to have a solid enough impact and some research would greatly help.
Finally, those Crystalflies are the mvp!
Questions, comments, and critiques are welcome!

₊˚ෆ 𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐂𝐄𝐍𝐃, 𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐋 𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐌 𝐀𝐁𝐎𝐕𝐄! | sagau lyney, neuvillette, wriothesley x gn!reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
ˋ°•*⁀➷ cw: theme of obsessiveness, yandere (big surprise!!) lyney + wrio's part mentions past abuse, all the stuff that comes as a side to this au !! ngl neuvillette's part is pretty tame he's literally. just a guy (otter)
⤷ [ you, the heavenly being who created celestia itself, has descended upon teyvat in an earthly form. a god, or at least, theirs. ]
Tumblr media
— sagau!lyney has always lived to be beheld by the eye.
Displays of extravagance, bouquets of flowers and pairs of white doves fluttering from his finger tips. Yes, that was where he belonged, standing on his place at the center of the stage, bright lights fixed on his form as he swept in his arm in a wide bow towards his beloved audience. Listening to their adoring cheers and drinking it all in - their support, the fame, their fanatic attention.
Attention was always something he had yearned for. Cold days exist in his memory, where he wandered the street aimlessly, pale skin littered with growing purple bruises, his only refuge the light tug of Lynette's soot-stained hands clinging onto what rags he wore. In those times, he remembers, a faint voice from above, angelic and holy, soft and compassionate.
A voice that was, in fact, yours. You had stared with wide eyes at your device as the cutscene began, instantly overcome with emotion. "Lyney, Lynette... was this how you had been living? Goddamn, I know every character in this game has a tragic backstory, but look at them!! They're... they're precious!! Wahhh, I want to take you in... Lyney, you better come home..." They were merely throwaway comments that you had blurted out in the shelter of your room, absolutely fixated on their pretty character designs and the dwindling number of primogems your inventory held. Not only had you lost the 50/50 to Qiqi herself, you were now nearing hard pity, and the charming magician was still nowhere in sight. You shut your eyes "Ah... Lyney, how come you-"
Light flickered before your closed eyelids, and you felt the wind tug at your body. Your stomach lurched, oh shit, were you falling..?
"-won't..."
Someone caught you with ease, swift and capable arms holding you, one supporting your back and the other hefting both your legs. Twinkling purple eyes met yours. "Ah, are you alright?" You quickly shook your head, too shaken to speak words at the moment. Surveying your surroundings only brought another wave of confusion - strange buildings, glittering blue lakes and trees, an unfamiliar landscape... Your gaze shifted, and you caught the sight of uncanny ash blond hair, and the hat that sat atop it. Lyney?
He hummed in acknowledgement. "So, you've just fallen from the sky." There was no way in mistaking his voice. "Is there an explanation behind that, or...?"
"I...I- I don't know why I'm here...!" You stuttered, and he visibly flinched at your voice, eyes widening. Shit, had you done something wrong? You trembled in his arms, attempting to stand by yourself, but he wouldn't let you move from his grasp.
"I see." His voice was quiet, now, and came in a single breath. His pupils shook as he closed his eyes in a smile. "Then, shall I bring you somewhere where you'll be safe?"
His heart was racing, pounding against his chest, and he could hardly breath, instead taking in short, desperate little gasps that did little to keep him standing. You.
It was a voice he swore he'd never let escape his recollection, and now there was a face, and touch to pair it with. He smile widened, and his eyes shined with pure ecstasy. It was you, in the flesh, his archon, his god, the highest being. Your body was holy, and he longed to praise it, his dark heart being cleansed just by bathing in your presence. Yet you seemed so fragile in his arms, how cute... it wouldn't be fair to keep you to himself, but being selfish is what allowed him to get this far. Like a songbird in a cage, he'd trap you, admire you, worship you.
Your brows furrowed in confusion, and you could feel his smile's sweet grow more sickening every beat of silence that passed. "No, What? I-"
His hand struck the back of your neck. Your voice died as your eyes fluttered shut. And in that moment Lyney pressed a kiss to both of your closed lids, a tender touch that one might describe as "loving", but what truly lie beneath it was far more twisted. His heart beat only for you, and red flushed across his cheeks.
"There's no need to worry, my eminence. I'll put on a show, just for your delight." ₊˚ෆ
Tumblr media
— sagau!neuvillette has always yearned for warmth.
A warmth is not present in the courts of Fontaine. There, it is cold, sharp, the biting frigidness numbing the hearts of people - those who stand before him in trial, and those who watch with glee in the crowd, awaiting his final verdict with bated breaths.
Neuvillette was most renowned for his judgement. But it was his own that was a critical flaw. For what truly was judgement? Had he been justified in casting a murderer, in some eyes, but a hero in others, into the Fortress of Meropide? A mere child, who just sought for warmth, just as he had? He fears his heart has also grown cold and indifferent to the world, and he despises himself for it.
Was it not your warm hand that stroked him lovingly so back then, a quiet, soothing touch that swept away the tears and the salt that clung to his cheeks? Was it not your voice who called out to him on those ever so lonely nights, humming an otherworldly tune as your ghostly visage wiped the sorrow that flowed his downcast eyes? Yes, truly. It was your warmth that caused his eyes to glow anew, your warmth that allowed his cheeks and the tips of his pointed ears to flush with contentment.
"Oh, wise ludex! This man is a murder! He stole not only my mother's assets, but my mother's life!" The crowd gasped at the dramatic declaration, their gazes shifting back and forth, from the perpetrator to the "witness." "I will dearly miss her... this man, no, this monster, took my mother away by hitting her over the head with none other than a bludgeon!"
Neuvillette's eyes widened. "Mr... Lucas."
"Y-Yes, ludex?"
"It was never disclosed to the public of what weapon the killer used."
The crowd erupted into a series of sharp inhales, surprised noises muffled by a hand over the mouth, round eyes as large as dinner plates, and frantic head turning. Journalists scribbled frantically in their notebooks, sweat pouring from their faces as they stumbled upon their newest cash cow.
"The verdict. Mr. Lucas is found to be guilty."
And they cheered. For what? Neuvillette narrowed his eyes just a fraction, his displeasure rising. They knew nothing. They were just mindless puppets, willing themselves to follow the sway of the crowd, praising and applauding something that naught needed its praise.
A sensation came over him, like the soft caress and flutter of an angel's wings or a soft, sweet sigh escaping from pouting, half-opened lips. The man snapped his head up, hearing the glass behind him shatter and plummet downwards like crystal raindrops, but what verily sent his heart apounding was the sight of a figure, dressed in heavenly silks, bathed in golden light, and descending into the courtroom. He drank it all in with a bated breath, hearing that for once, the crowd was silence.
You landed in his arms. Beautiful. He almost didn't dare move with you in his arms, in fear of his legs giving way underneath him. Your head lulled into his chest, eyes shut, and your pure, unbridled warmth finally met him, finally doused him in its prescence.
"Your... your eminence..." His voice was a mere echo, quiet, containing little sound at all. "I..."
"To you who has granted me such the blessing of warmth, I shall repay with all of my heart." ₊˚ෆ
Tumblr media
— sagau!wriothesley has always wanted... someone to hold him.
It's a selfish thing to long for, and a silent one. Who would pay any heed to a duke's ramblings? Love's a thought that he's never quite fully digested, almost as if he can't truly believe it exists. Of course, he's seen Fontaine's couples, strolling up and down the street, hand-in-hand, yet questions himself in what makes them able to love each other. Perhaps it wasn't his problem with them, but more so a problem with himself.
Ah, that was it.
His heart already belonged to someone, someone he had heard once and never witnessed again. Like the softest breath of the wind, or a joyful child's laughter, it brushed through his soul and soothed it, held it in its arms, and fussed over his messy hair and bruised skin. At times, Wriothesley wondered if it was all a dream, for only something that angelic, mesmerizing could not stem from reality. However, as young as he was in those years, he cannot deny the fact that in his dark days - it was your mysterious voice that carried him into the life, your presence that gave him the wings to continue living.
Yes, since that day, his every breath, every flutter of his eyes and every pump of blood that rushed anew into his veins from his heart was solely for the purpose of meeting you once more.
Another typical day at the Fortress of Meropide - paperwork strewn all over his once-organized desk, a cooled cup of tea sitting next to where his hand lie, the other furiously writing away on the said paper. He ran a hand through his hair, grumbling into his palm as he briefly shut his eyes... only to shoot them back upon in a start as he heard the sound of something crashing against the walls, and the sound of paper, flying everywhere akin to a bird.
There was someone, lying, or rather, sprawled across his desk. Dizzy-eyed and muttering something intelligible, a growing red spot on their forehead gradually becoming increasingly more visible. "How did you get in here?" He's immediately put up his defenses, readying his gloves as he steps over - with quiet remorse - the papers that now blanket the ground.
"...Wh...Where am I?"
That. That voice.
Has he stopped breathing? He can feel all the blood rush to his head, and he can hardly think a single coherent thought, only focusing on the rush in his ears, the shaking of his hands, and the sight of you before him, dressed simply in sleepware and glancing around frantically. Gorgeous. Ethereal. The mere sight of you before him had spurred his heart into an erratic, fanatic pace, beating within his body like he'd die if it slowed down.
"Is... Is something wrong?" He was taken aback at the hand waving over his eyes, before settling back into position, realizing that you had been trying to speak with him for the past half-minute in his zoned-out state. Could you see it? The sin that was clearly displayed in his every breath, in his every inch of being?
"No, nothing's wrong." You seemed to have calmed down somewhat, and while your eyes were still filled with confusion, you tilted your head at his words. How come he was smiling...?
"Ah, then about that question-"
"Home. You're home. And this is where you'll be staying, forever." ₊˚ෆ

Welcoming Legacy (It welcomes you) - SAGAU ft. Foul Legacy Tartaglia
Ever since you woke up in Teyvat, you’ve been… confused. The memories of your previous life fading, leaving you to wander. One thing was for certain though, the people here despised you for the face you wore. That was, until waking in the Snezhnayan wilderness after another death, a certain abyssal harbingers saves you from the cold.
cw: imposter au SAGAU shenanigans, temporary death, hyperthermia, passing out, not very yandere (but from his perspective it definitely would be), hurt/comfort, Capitano cameo! Written to be x reader ish, but it’s vague and ur kinda cold so can be read as Romantic or Platonic! Will be tagging as both lemme know if it shouldn’t be.
1.5k words
~~~
It’s almost funny, you think, how he’s the one who reconsized you first.
No. Not recognised. This was the first time you’d met any of them. The vision holders, the ‘characters’ that you once fawned over and held very dear. They wouldn’t know your name, your face—except for the fact they did. And they hated you for it. “Impersonator”, “Heretic”, “Damned”, “Witch.”
They all looked at you as if you’d committed a grave crime. A slight that could not be forgiven. But how could you have? You were given this name, and born with this face.
And yet you were hunted. And yet you were killed. Arrow through the heart, spear through the back, claymore to the ribs. The pain was unbearable, but death wasn’t the end. Each time you closed your eyes, hoping for an end to the nightmare, you awoke somewhere new.
You recognized the landscape from hours spent playing the game, and quickly learned to avoid settlements, villages, and most importantly, vision holders. The pain of death was too much, leaving your body trembling with sobs and quietly pleading to whatever force put you on Teyvat to just let you go home.
After the fourth death—at the hands of an electro charged spear, courtesy of a certain mahamantra—you woke up, shaking uncontrollably. Only this time, not from phantom pains or the emotional toll of death. This time, is was due to a heavy, bone deep, unnatural cold.
Snezhnaya.
Of course it had to be Snezhnaya.
You whimpered, cursing your luck. This would be a slow, painful death if you couldn’t find shelter and fast.
Stumbling to your feet—bare, the clothes that stayed with you after death did not include them—you looked around pitifully. A snowy forest. Beautiful, but useless, and hard to see far in. You’d never been to Snezhnaya in game either, so there was no way you’d be able to find shelter. Pitifully, you dragged yourself under a tree, curling into yourself under the pine’s branches, hoping it wouldn’t be too painful. Achingly, you let your eyes close, waiting for the next place.
Only, before the cold took you, a rumbling call broke through the tranquil silence of the forest.
Blearily, you opened your eyes. Some kind of beast? It wasn’t like you were familiar with the creatures of Snezhnaya. But it didn’t sound like a normal enemy monster. It was sad, keening… longing.
It called out again. You… would rather die quickly to a beast than slowly to hypothermia, you supposed.
“Here,” you called out weakly. You clicked your tongue a few times, as if luring in a cat. “Come on.”
You laughed slightly. Had delusion from hypothermia set in so quickly? You were making kissy noises at the monster in the forest. Luring in your death with soft sweet noises.
The forest was still for a moment. And then it wasn’t.
Snow crunched underfoot of what was undoubtedly a large creature. You were pretty sure you heard the waning bend of pine trees as it shoved pass.
Was this a mistake? Probably. You were too cold to care. Maybe its claws would be warm as it tore you apart. Ha. Wouldn’t that be nice?
At some point your eyes had slipped closed again, but it was close now. You could hear it. So close—you waited for the sink of claws into your flesh—
It came to a stop in front of you, inches away, maybe, if the warm breath on your skin was any indication.
In a raspy, warbling tone, it spoke English. “Creator?”
What?
You opened your eyes again, and gasped as you saw… Tartaglia? No, not him, exactly. But, his Foul Legacy. The rough plates of armor adorning his limbs, the red mask with a singular clouded pearl eye in the center, the sheer size of him.
“Ajax?” You mumbled.
“Creator!” It said again, rough, desperate, as if it had a throat not made for speaking.
“Hi.” You said simply, before your eyes slipped closed.
~
Warmth.
There was warmth.
A lot of warmth.
Fire.
You sighed, not daring to open your eyes for fear it might disappear. That you might still be laying in the snow, your blood crystallizing in your veins.
A smooth, clawed hand cupped your cheek, then your jaw, tilting your head back. Was this when the pain would come? You stirred a bit, but little nothing happened. The thing holding you sighed, gently pressing the sides of your cheek to open your jaw. What? What was happening? You hardly had time to panic before something warm was poured into your mouth, and his inhuman hand latched around your mouth to keep it shut.
You whimpered, eyes still closed—gods you really didn’t want to open them. You really couldn’t mentally confront what was happening. For now, it needed to stay invisible, it needed to not be real—as the liquid sat in your mouth. You refused to swallow, but it tasted like broth? Was it broth? You decided you didn’t care, not so long as you were being forced to drink—
That was, until its other hand came up and began to massage your throat. You sputtered, the rough finger pads gently rubbing against your throat forcing you to swallow after a moment.
It’s… nice. Warm but not hot, and definitely just some sort of broth now that you think about it. The next time the edge of a bowl is set against your lips, you drink of your own volition.
Whatever was caring for you seemed happy, as its rumbling chest, reminiscent of a cat's purr, seemed to indicate. Honestly, you were too, going slack against it, hiding your face in what you think is it’s neck, lined with a mane of fur, as it rubbed circles into your scars. The old aches of death soothing under its fingerpads.
Sleep came easy.
~
The next time you woke up, you weren’t so afraid to open your eyes.
Strangely calm, you didn’t even jump at the sight in front of you.
Probably seven feet tall, with thick, armored plates running up his body, a mix of purples, blues, blacks and reds coloring his body. His mask was a dull red, and an abyssal blue, almost jewel like eye was set in the center.
Foul legacy. Tartaglia’s abyssal form. This was Childe, no—
“Ajax?”
He practically melted, wrapping around you at the raspy croak of his own name.
You sighed, snuggling into the small fur mane around his neck.
“What are… what are you doing here?” Wasn’t he out of the country? You weren’t sure what point in the story you arrived during, but none of them had him in his homeland for long. “Isn’t being in that form for too long dangerous?”
He smiled. Well, ‘smile’ was a bad term. He curled back his lips and opened his plated maw, one you didn’t know he had. It was hidden among the red armor of his mask, which you were now convinced were just, ya know, his face when in foul legacy. His maw, black and almost a void inside, lined with row after row of sharp, shark-like teeth. He yawned, wide, before snapping his mouth shut with a little clack.
You couldn’t help the small giggle that bubbled up from your throat.
He seemed to like that, purring as he set his chin atop your head.
Your giggle faded away, and your face fell. You gave a soft sigh, body aching slightly. With a quiet voice, you could help but ask what’d been gnawing at you since you woke.
“Why… Why are you helping me?”
“Because the ones who hurt you are fools.”
That was not Ajax.
You turned your head, towards the entrance of the cave Ajax had holed the two of you up in.
When you saw who it was, you shied into the arms of Foul Legacy, who was happy enough to wrap his arms around you.
Capitano’s intimidating figure blocked the entrance of the cave, mask glinting in the fire light.
“I apologize for the late arrival, I was combing the west side of the valley for you. Tartaglia seemed to find you first.”
“I…” What?
Capitano stepped deeper into the cave, his steps were confident, but the closer he got, he lowered his head. It almost looked like a sign of respect.
A mere few strides away, he reached a hand out—to greet you? Touch you? You were sure, as before he could do anything, Ajax dragged you closer and responded to Capitano with a guttural growl.
“Quiet, eleventh.” Capitano commanded. Despite his unhappiness, Ajax obliged, letting Capitano closer.
A cold metal gauntlet approached your face slowly, before cupping your face. Gently, it tilted your jaw up, forcing you to meet the void of his mask.
You didn’t know that when the firelight hit your irises, they glittered with constellations, or that the veins barely visible against the white of your eyes were gold.
What you did see through, was the way his heavy shoulders dropped, and you heard a reverent sigh of relief. He dipped his head lower, and you swore crystal blue eyes blinked slowly down at you.
“Welcome to the waking world, dear Creator. Celestia has kept you asleep and unseeing for far too long.”
~~~
Omg this had so much more but the plot got out of hand so I just took the first bits and left the rest out. TECHNICALLY there’s lord and explanations but I know I’d never finish a cohesive plot so here we are! My first attempt as SAGAU!

“Ei I’m thinking of planning a girls only getaway at an Inazuma hot springs? Would you and Yae Miko like to help me out?”
The two are immediately beaming and receptive to the idea. Any chance for you to spend more time in Inazuma is quickly snatched up. As you sit with the two lovely ladies, planning out who to invite, where to host the outing, you explain to them that you’d rather keep this event private. If word got around(especially to the other nations) that you were holding an exclusive get together in Inazuma(at an hot springs no less) you’re afraid some nosy guests might try to peep in on the conversation. The two swear to you they’ll keep their lips shut but as your invites go out rumors just tend to spread. Now every woman in the nation of eternity would love to attend this private get away, just to get an opportunity to speak to you their goddess one on one. And of course there are those with a little more devious intentions of seeing their beloved goddess in such an exposed state.
Oh and of course once the word gets around to the boys, the absolute disappointment on their faces plus the swirling curiosity. A trip with just the girls? What will you speak about that you don't want any male ears to hear? Is it about them? Are you going to speak about them in private?
(Heizou not so subtly asking Sara what was said on this trip. Thoma sneakily listens in to conversations any of the women have on the estate that even mention your name. Itto loudly and desperately begging Shinobu to tell him where you are holding this outing so he can just, you know, not subtly spy on your conversations.)
Despite the rumors still floating around, you follow through with this little getaway plan. With extra reassurance from Yae Miko that if she catches any peeping toms she'll be sure to zap them.
And despite some of the girls being more nervous to be so up close and personal with you, others are just jumping at the chance to see you so laid back and vulnerable. And the steam from the hot springs just seems to melt away your walls, as the night goes on you find the conversation drifting to…romance. You tell Yae Miko how you love to write sappy cheesy romance novels and she’s more than happy to give some of your rough drafts a read. You playfully start to run your hands through Kirara’s damp hair just to hear her purr and now suddenly Yoimiya is asking “Me next! Me next!”
It isn't until you sheepishly say “Ah well despite writing about romance a lot I’ve never actually been in love or slept with anybody.” that an audible pause washes over the group. The deer scare making a loud echoing “clink”.
Now they all begin to coo and question you.
“There’s no way no one hasn’t fallen head over heels for your Grace yet?! You must be like thousands of years old, surely you’ve stolen someone’s heart” Yomiya loudly proclaims.
“Aww so you’re saving yourself for your one true love, how cute.” Yae Miko insinuated.
“When you say it out loud its embarrassing-”
“Has anyone caught your eye yet your Grace?” Sara asks a bit too calmly as she and Ei eye you down with anticipation.
The girls continue to grill you with nosy questions “What’s your ideal type?” “Do you prefer men or women more?”
And you answer them with giddiness, happy to spill your life long dreams of getting married and having a family of your own one day.
“Ah, so you desire to get married and become a mother?...” Yae Miko vocalized aloud, wondering what this would mean for the whole of Tayvet.
“I know it's a silly little dream of mine…”
“It's not silly at all, your Grace!” Yomiya cheerfully chimes in. “If you have your heart set on someone let me know and maybe I can set up a huge fireworks display that spells out I love you.” She giggles and Kirara nods in agreement.
Thanks but I don't really want anyone to play matchmaker…
The rest of the night goes on with laughter and drinks. The women feeling blessed to see this vulnerable side of you. You assume the conversations you had with the ladies will remain private but…it seems like someone has loose lips.
Soon days after the trip, rumors start to pop up.
“Ah didn't you hear our dear goddess is still a virgin, as pure as a lily kissing the sun’s rays for the first time.” “I aspire to have the same chastity as her.” “I heard she’s specifically looking for a husband because she wants to have kids.” “Surely if she chooses a man from our nation that means she’ll permanently reside here right?”
When you meet up with Venti again he’s a little more gleeful than usual. And when you part to say goodbye he leans in, eyes close but you abruptly stop him with a hand covering his mouth.
“What are you doing?”
“I wanted to kiss you before anyone else does.” He says with disappointed eyes, voice still muffled by your hand. When you allow him to speak more it's then that you know. Somebody in at that hot springs squealed.
And there’s no stopping these nosy rumors once they start going. What happens when they reach the ear of...?

Title: Nahida's dream and plushies
Character(s): Nahida and most of the Sumeru characters (Genshin Impact)
Summary: In her dream, she saw a lady, someone she recognized but didn't remember who till she woke up, and right beside her were plushies waiting to be taken to their look a like
Warnings/tags: Fem!reader (but doesn't appear here), sagau as in cult au/god au, no romance just mainly fluff!
Klee and the little plushies Qiqi's plushie delivery Sayu's plushie mission Nahida's dream and plushies (you are here!)
Tumblr media
Nahida was a little bit in a daze. Her mind was elsewhere as she looked at the dolls in front of her. Small dolls made out of felt and wool. They all looked familiar to her, and she would have cooed at how cute they were, yet her mind could not help but think about that lady in her dream.
She looked like someone she knew... that aura of comfort and kindness that surround her wasn't like those old grannies who gave kids candies kind of gentle but something more eternal, more powerful than that. It would be hard to compare the power she had to the archons cause you and they were so different... so far apart.
This supposes elemental power... colorless but moldable and changing. Even archons were limited to their own element and weren't limitless, the Geo archon was strong, and he could command meteorites to fall into Teyvat and build high mountains. But he could not command the sea to flood the world. She herself even as an archon wasn't able to do much in the face of many who didn't want her back once.
"What are you looking so gloomy at." Nahida snapped out of her thoughts when she heard a cold, harsh yet familiar voice speaking to her. Looking to the side, she saw that huge hat of a certain someone she knew. "Wanderer." Nahida smiled at him, moving to face him. "I was looking at these cute dolls. Don't they remind you of some people?" Nahida giggled, knowing full well that he was familiar with some of them.
Wanderer raised an eyebrow at the many dolls that were placed on a table at the side of the room. Small plushies with simplified designs of people he knew. Rather than cute...
"They look creepy rather than cute." Wanderer crossed his arms as he narrowed his eyes.
"Do not say that. What if you hurt the person who made them." Nahida shook her head sighing. "Then they shouldn't have made such creepy things. What are they, a stalker?" Wanderer sarcastically replied.
"She is not a stalker... rather, she is someone we know... and wish to see. She made these just for us." Nahida replied. Looking back at the dolls walking towards it, she reached out for a small plushie from the bunch and handed it to the Wanderer. "Here. This is for you."
"Hmmm? I didn't know that there was another archon." Wanderer looked at the doll that looked just like him with the hair and clothes to the pout with a suspicious look. He must have noticed the white elemental aura surrounding it, but as Nahida continued to hold it out for him. Grabbing the doll, he took a closer look at it.
"She isn't an archon, someone far greater than that, actually..." Nahida replied to the Wanderer in a serious tone but didn't elaborate. Instead, she looked back at the plushies. "Wanderer, can you help me hand out these plushies. She had asked my help to give them out."
"Do it yourself. You don't really need my help with something like this. You are probably using this as an excuse for me to interact with more people." Wanderer huffed in annoyance, turning to leave. "If you don't need me, I will be heading out then."
"Hehe.. you caught me." Nahida laughed and let Wanderer head out. She, too, was busy with this after all. In her mind, she stored the memory of the Wanderer holding on to his plushie in one hand, the thoughtful looked he gave it when he thought she wasn't looking. She knew that he would not throw it away.
Storing them in a bag, she headed out of the room she started to search.
And the first person she found was Collie!
Collie was flustered when the dendro archon walked up to her as she had just come to the city with Tighnari as he had an appointment with his friends. She followed along as wanted to see the place again and buy some stuff that she could only get here.
She didn't think she would run into the dendro archon, much less suddenly be given a doll. "Is this for me?" Collie asked, taking the doll and holding it as if it would break by a slight touch. She heard from her friend Amber that she had received a doll from a mysterious lady and that it was the cutest thing ever. And it really was cute when Collie saw a small doodle of it she thought of getting one for herself.
She didn't expect she would be receiving one from the dendro archon! The both of them soon parted ways, and Collie thought of what she would tell Amber later on in her letter. Her little doll also had a small cat plush connected to it!
The next person Nahida found was Nilou, who was street performing in the middle of city hall. Her dance was so graceful and lovely Nahida didn't want to bother and instead watched till it ended, clapping when it had finished. Nilou greeted the Dendro archon with respect, happy that her archon made a visit and watched her dance.
Nahida told her that the dance was so pretty and gifted her the plush. Surprised, Nilou asked her if she was the one who made it, but Nahida shook her head, telling her that it was from a special someone.
The fans were jealous of how much Nilou treasured the doll, while others couldn't help but smile. After all, it was an honor to receive something given by the dendro archon, and they were proud of Nilous.
Next, Nahida found Cyno, who was in the middle of a TCG match. She watched him conquer the match after struggling in the first few rounds. "It is an honor that the dendro archon watched my match." Cryo raved on about his journey to win this match, and as a congratulation, Nahida gave him a little plush. "I shall treasure and protect this till my dying breath."
"Please, you don't have to go that far," Nahida replied with a worried smile. Tho it made her a little happy that he would treasure the plushie this much.
Next, she found Kaveh speaking with Dori, something about a dept, but before Nahida could get more information (not that she was trying to eavesdrop), they stopped as they had noticed her.
"My do what do I owe the Dendro archon the pleasure of visiting the Palace of Alcazarzaray. Could you be looking for something? Fabrics? Spice? Or something rare? I have it all!" Dori said, couldn't be able to contain her excitement at the idea of the dendro archon becoming her dear customer.
Kaveh was slightly more flustered but quickly composed himself and respectfully asked why she was here and if she was looking for something or someone.
"I am here to find you two." Nahida smiled and showed them two plushies that looked just like them. "They are a gift from a certain someone!" The two were surprised at the dolls, accepting them from her.
Both had different reactions.
On one hand, Kaveh had a more touched expression asking Nahida if he could know who made this lovely handmade plushie of him and his bag and that he wanted to give back, while Dori was more materialistic having come up with "a brilliant idea!" Raising her plushie with a purple small genie plush jingling at the movement to the sky, her eyes twinkling at the thought of potential mora~!
Nahida could only smile, her face hinting that the maker doesn't want to be known. Kaveh, knowing that he could not do anything here, could not help but sigh but stated that if this person were to ever need any help that he could possibly give, feel free to ask. (Dori was disappointed that she would not hire the person who made these plushies.)
The next she found was Candace and Dehya at the desert village, the two catching up after fighting some treasure hoarders trying to steal from the village. "Ah, it is the dendro archon Nahida! It has been a while!"
"Welcome to Aaru village, dendro archon."
Giving them their plush, both of them found the plushies absolutely adorable and asked the person who made them if they ever feel comfortable to come and visit them one time. Candace would gladly welcome them to the village while Dehya offered a small shopping spree as she knew all the trends and shops or if they ever needed a bodyguard one day just call her.
The last two girls, Faruzan and Layla, were found at the academy as both of them traded notes that were of interest but also some chit-chat. The two were surprised when they found out that the dendro archon was looking for them as one of the scholars frantically searched for them told them so.
"This is so cute. It even has twirly whirly my shroom buddy beside it.... I miss them." "This doll is very cute. You could see the hard work and effort placed into making each and every single stitch. Send the person who made them my thanks. I would do it myself, but it seems that they don't want to be known." "Me too! I think with this I could do better in my essay that I need to finish... yawn"
The last two people she needed to look for were Tighnari and Al Haitham and soon found them sitting at the cafe along with Kaveh and Cyno. In Al Haitham's hand was Kaveh plush while one Tighnari's was Cyno both examine it.
Cyno was going on and on about the card game he won in the presence of the dendro archon and that it was an honor to win in her presence as Tighnari told him to stop telling the same story for the third time now. "We get it. We know that you will hand down this plushie as a family heirloom!"
"There is something about these dolls that is not right...." Al Haitham narrowed his eyes at Kaveh's dolls. He definitely knew that something was up with these. "They are given by the dendro archon herself. Of course, they are unique! Gah, you are always suspicious of everything." Kaveh stated frustratedly. "Do you ever know how to relax and just appreciate the work that went into making this!"
"If you would just stop and look a little harder, maybe you would notice that something is odd about them." Al Haitham didn't look up at Kaveh. These dolls in the end weren't gifts from the dendro archon but someone who is probably of higher rank than an archon to be able to make the archon do such work.
"Al Haitham is correct about them being unique. You would never find these dolls somewhere else, even if you searched the whole Teyvat." Nahida cut in, walking towards them with a smile on her face. Everyone looked at Nahida, who stopped beside them, Al Haitham and Tighnari greeted her as they didn't see her beforehand like the other two boys had.
"These are for you!" Nahida giggled, handing Tighnari and Al Haitham their own plushies both thanking her for them. "What do you mean by unique?" Tighnari asked curiously, his tail swishing a little faster as he looked at his own doll. He saw Collie's one and wondered if he could get one, too. Lightly tugging the doll's ear long as his own, he looked at Nahida again.
"They are from someone special, someone who watches over us all." Nahida stated, her eyes closing as she remembered the lady she met in her dream, the little conversation that she and you had.
She didn't realize who you were nor why she thought that you were so familiar to her back then inside the dream she only realize who you were when she woke up and saw the plushies on the side of her and a familiar white elemental magic surrounding them.
Returning back to her room, she saw a doll that looked exactly like her surrounded by Aranara plushies. Smiling at the doll, she hugged hers and hoped that one day she would actually see you in person and not in a dream.

Note: If you find any mistakes here please tell me! Anyway, phew part 4 of the series is over! I know that Genshin has released characters outside of Sumeru that are not included here in the series yet but I plan on saving it for a later date when more characters for the past regions show up!
Another note for taglist: The tag list will be open later when Fontaine is somewhat finished and most characters are already out which would probably take a longggg time. But for now, the taglist will be closed. If anybody does not want to be tagged later tell me so that I can remove you from the list.

What if Creator successfully escaped Teyvat?
Creator's POV
Holy shit, I did it! I opened the portal, I can go back home. The Spiral Abyss portal is wide open and I'm really to get the hell out of here.
As I walk forward and a primogem shaped portal opens and out walks the character the fandom called, the Unknown God.
Her cold expression bored into me. She moved closer to me.
"I see you opened a portal, you want to leave don't you?" she asks.
I nods my head and she leans forward and tells me she has a solution.
"What is it?" I ask.
" Relinquish all your power to me and Clestia," she staed.
There was a tense silence before I extended my hand to her.
"Deal," is all I say to her after that.
She opens a portal to who knows where and leaves me in front of the Spiral Abyss. Closing my eyes I walk into the portal and...
I hear people's voices, I hear my friends voices laced with concern and relief.
"Holy shit, you're ok!" One yells.
The yelling make my ears hurt. I look around and see a few nurses and a doctor. My friends have eyes with various degrees of red and puffiness. They must have all been crying at some point. . I can tell I'm in a hospital.
I ask what happened and according to my friends, I was missing for a long time and I was found in rough shape near a willow tree. I was in the hospital because they had no idea what could have happened to me and my body. I smile at them and give out hugs. My partner and family comes to vist me as well.
After months I'm able to live my life again. I remember everything that happened, how I was taken to Teyvat, how people saw me as an all powerful God, and how they wanted to keep me there and how they acted like deranged followers. I uninstalled Genshin from very device I own and deleted all the data as well. It pained me a bit, but after that hell. I never want to play it agian.
My life moves on, I live my life and never think about Genshin again, untill someone close to me starts getting super into the game and fandom. I keep an eye on them in case those weirdos try to prey on them.
Meanwhile, in Teyvat
The archons and Neuvillette were ready to perform the ritual that brought you to them the first time, but instead of a light flash and a vision of you... nothing happens. They try and try again but nothing happens. If they keep going they'll be the definition of insanity. When news spreads that they have lost you forever the people mourn you, like they did with the first version of you... all those eons ago. It does not matter that you are alive in a different world, to Teyvat the day you left will be remembered as the day, the Creator died twice.

★MAY THE LAND CONCEAL YOU, DEAR GRACE

[PART ONE
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
-YOU DIDNT NEED TO BE A GENIUS to get an idea of what was happening. Your lower body brushed against the soft yet sharp grass, it felt all too real. Your (e/c) eyes narrowed its way to a tree. An ordinary tree with many ripe fruits; one of it being able to take your attention.
Your hand circled on one of the fruits bottom and plucked it carefully, it matched exactly as your expectation. A plump fruit that seemed to be full of its juice and taste, an appearance that resembled a beautiful like sunset furthermore having a sweet and gentle aroma that is able to energize an individual.
Your lips slowly made its way near the side of the familiar fruit, the texture and feeling were soft yet hard. The aroma itself made your mouth faintly water, you swallowed your saliva having a high expectation out of this. After all, you always wanted to see what it really tasted like after collecting so many.
"Thank you for the meal." You lastly said and took a bite.
Your eyes widened a bit, this was far more than what you expected. The flavor was sweet but not too much to be like a candy. It was juicy enough to make you feel more hydrated than ever. It didn't take you long to start devouring the whole fruit at once
Tumblr media
"Better than i had thought." Your back laid against the tree, all of its fruits gone for it was rapidly consumed by someone (you).
You wiped off the fluid on the side of your face. A small smile looming over your lips "I feel more.. Refreshed than ever." Your tone consisted of slight suprise and satisfaction "Still, i cant seem to get my head wrapped around whats happening.." You mumbled quietly to yourself, having your fair share of the internet you were well aware on the many fanfictions and AU the game GENSHIN IMPACT had, but it having to actually become a real life situation is something too impossible to even happen.
Your feelings felt too mixed and unorganized. Half of what you felt was being thankful, because out of all the things you were gonna reincarnate in. The gods or whoever did it brought you into a more PG game; sure it had killing.. And some questionable things but as long as you live like an NPC things will go in the right track!.
With a goal set in mind you dusted off your hands following with walking down the dirt path that led to the gates of the iconic town MONDSTADT. you could remember it like it was just yesterday when you first played genshin. A feeling crept up to you, something similar - that you've walked down this path for millions of times and that muscle memory just took in. Deja vu didn't leave your mind until you were met with two guards infront of you.
"Halt. Who are you and what is your business here in mondstat" One of the guards spoke up, eyeing you up and down incase you were bringing any dangerous or threatening items to the city.
The guards other companion putted his hand on top of his friends shoulder "Wait, ___. They look familiar dont they?" His tone filled with suspicion, he couldn't shake it off as just a normal coincidence.
"What? What are you even saying ____. I believe you're making a far stretch in this one, i clearly remember that they have (opposite color) hair." The guards companion replied back with confidence in his answer. And it soon didn't take long for it to turn to a long and repeating argument on what was the appearance of the person they were arguing about.
"Jeez, who even is the person their saying. They must seem complicated" You thought to yourself while at the same time, was rubbing the back of your head - all you wanted was to slip into the city of Mondstadt but it seems to be much harder than you had thought in mind.
During the time the two guards were still rambling about the appearance of a certain someone. a silhouette of a girl with long silky brown hair, complimenting her appearance with a bright crimson bow that anybody could see from a mile away.
"Huh? I wonder whats going on over there.. Better go check it out!" The mysterious girl exclaimed, swiftly jumping down the soaring cliff. The moment her feet left the ground, wing like designs appeared behind her back which helped her safely land on the ground yet again.
"Whats going on here?" The mysterious girl walked between the two guards to stop their argument. Both her hands placed on her waist as she looked at the two with confusion.
"Oh- Outrider amber. Good to see you today" The guard greeted the named girl, AMBER. Amber exchanged the guards greeting with a smile "Good to see you today too. Now, will anyone care to explain what's going on?" She questioned, her hazel eyes glancing at the three people infront of her; You noticed how her gaze seemed too be longer on yours - as if she had something on her mind.
"I'll explain"
"Let me explain"
"So basically.."
You and the other two guards were caught off guard by the sudden synchronization. "Uhm, I can explain the situation" You spoke up while (e/c) eyes looked at the two.
"No, I've got a more grip and understanding standing on the situation, allow me" One of the guards replied back, his other companion raised a brow on what the other had just said.
"Please. I remember the details on the situation more clearly, I'll be telling you what happened Outrider Amber." His companion argued back to the other
"I'm doing you a favor so allow me."
"You're gonna leave out some parts so just let me do it"
"I'll do it"
"No, I'll do it"
"Guys.."
Tumblr media
"So.. What you're all saying is that this person just wanted to get inside mondstadt?" Amber questioned;it took a long while till you just decided to explain to amber what really happened. Still, you couldn't shake off the feeling how intensely she was staring at you for - it creeped you out badly but you tried not to make it too obvious.
"Thats basically what happened" You confirmed giving her a small nod. Amber's expression seemed to be in deep thought for some moments till she gave you a smile in return.
"Seems like theres no problem then! You don't seem to pose as a threat, uhm.." Amber trailed off not really having to get your name yet. "Oh! It's (Name), pleasure to meet you" You kindly greeted her
You expected a positive greeting back but instead, your body jolted slightly. Seeing her shocked expression staring at you deeply for a moment and soon returned to normal.
Tumblr media
Amber's expression calmed down and she gave you a apologetic smile "Oh sorry bout that... Just go right ahead" She offered, her fingertips gently wrapping around the back of her neck as her gaze were on the floor. You questioned her abnormal behavior earlier but the thought of going inside THE city of Mondstadt that you've dreamed ever since you first played made you ecstatic. Not to mention that you just met with one of the main side characters (amber) made you forget her strange activity just a few seconds ago.
You gave her a nod "Alright. Thank you!" And without hesitating you quickly walked inside the city of Mondstadt. The aroma of dandelions waved through the surroundings as people were joyful and free; something that you've craved since your 'previous' life.
Today is a brand new page in a book, where you're the one holding the pen and get to be able to write whatever you desire! WELCOME TO MONDSTADT
Tumblr media
Two pairs of hazel colored eyes followed your body whilst you gleefully strolled from shop to shop. Her gaze not leaving you for even a second, for fear shrouded over her. Fear that you again would leave her sight.
".. They can't be..."
"You've felt it too huh?"
"... Get the others.
"We can't let them get away"
Tumblr media
[A/N: HOPE YALL ENJOY PART 2. SORRY IT SEEMED SHORT, I'LL TRY TO MAKE PART 3 LONGER. ANYWAYS PROLOUGE IS DONE, MONDSTADT ARC WILL START NOW

okay, we all know about SAGAU and its different hundred of aus (not complaining tho, some are chef kiss out there) but like I've been interested in Honkai Star Rail self-aware AU– like i know it's been out for a while but the SAGAU concept is even better when it comes to HSR because of it sheer size and potential.
(not saying Genshin SAGAU aren't good tho.)
It just that I've been having this brainrot and I just need to get it out.
Imagine in SAHSR (yk, self-aware honkai star rail), we got an OC (or reader, if you're more comfortable with that– i refuse to use Y/N, just no) that is an Aeon.
Nothing shocking but lets turn that up a bit by making the OC (or Reader) the oldest yet an unknown Aeon since they went into hiding, but still kept watch of the galaxies. People know little to nothing about OC other than their loyal followers– like, even some of the newer Aeons know nothing about us (or Reader).
My brain rot came up with the Aeon of Mortality. Kinda like an emphasization that we (the Aeon) was here before most of the living being in the galaxies (hence the 'creator' thingy).
Or Aeon of Origin would be a good one too since theres Terminus, the Aeon of Finality.
(kinda like a direct reference to Kiana and Mei, hehe.) But im leaning more towards Aeon of Mortality.
Heck, yk how the Imaginary element embodies the light of lives? yeh, spin that point to how when OC(or Reader), the Aeon of Mortality came into existence, which created the Imaginary element. hell, maybe even drag the Quantum element in too bcs mortality also embodies the aspect of death.
some of the faction/group names i came up with are [Freedom-willed Sworn], [Home of the Epheremeal] and [Anti-Entropy].
not gonna explain the meaning of all of that, but they all gotta do with mortality, freedom, freewill, the will to choose and live, etc.
now thats out of the way, lets get to the fun part!
OC (or Reader) is the Aeon that watches over the Trailblazers (like, us players) and latches onto the Astral Express because they used to be besties with Akilivi ( D: ). Stelle/Caelus have no idea how they got a whole Aeon to get attached to them but they aren't complaining!
(we are also the one enabling the two's trash-loving behavior lmao)
the Astral Express also has no idea why an Aeon, the oldest one (and one they know nothing about) decided to ride along with them. Himeko got used to our presence as we appeared when she repaired the train.
March is confused but happy, Dan Heng is cautious but tolerant and Welt is skeptical but lenient. But slowly, they get used to our presence and might even start liking our help and support!
Asta and Arlan are surprised to know that the oldest Aeon known is constantly watching over them. They've never met an Aeon that interact so close! Herta might have a whole aneurysm wanting to learn anything about us.
Screwllum and Ruan Mei would try to stop her but even they could not hide their curiosity about the oldest Aeon.
The Stellaron Hunters are surprised by our appearance as it was not written or foretold in Elio's script. Kafka is amused by the outcome, also a bit delighted to know that the Aeon (or Reader) was watching over them.
Going to Jarilo-IV! Surprise, surprise! Theres someone in Belobog who is a [Freedom-willed Sworn]! who is it? it can be whoever you might think it is!
The Jarilo-IV gang would be shocked to know that an Aeon was traveling alongside the Astral Express and was currently watching over them.
Some of them would be shy and awkward for knowing that, especially Bronya and Gepard. Some would be apprehensive, like Seele and Svarog. And some would be delighted! Aka, Sampo, Serval and Luka! Even Clara and Hook are happy to have us here.
Next station, the Xianzhou Luofu! right from the start, every kind of words gets out when they find out that the Aeon of Mortality is with the Astral Express. Xianzhou Luofu are skeptical of us, since they do not know of our standing, especially when it comes to the Plague Author (Yaoshi.)
not to mention OC/Reader is the Aeon of Mortality and little is known about us so they might think that our path is aligned with Yaoshi. (which doesnt, honestly.)
Jing Yuan would be suspicious of us but he would hide it well, Fu Xuan would be discontent since the future she saw did not include us, Yanqing have his own opinion but he'd follow Jing Yuan's belief, Sushang would be fascinated and Luocha would be surprised at our reveal.
Tingyun (or Phantylia) would be intrigued at our sudden appearance, Yukong is the same as Jing Yuan (just that she doesn't hide it) and Qingque wouldn't really care.
but once the Xianzhou Luofu quest is over and the gang understands that OC/Reader is not aligned with Yaoshi, they start warming up to us! while Xianzhou Luofu is devoted to Lan the Hunt in their pursue to eradicate Yaoshi, they wouldn't oppose the help of the oldest Aeon!
also, our relationship with some of the Aeons? Aeon OC/Reader constantly gives Qlipoth headaches and they would get worried about us since we do all kinds of shits ehehe.
Aeon OC/Reader constantly annoys Lan (affectionately) and Nanook whenever they get the chance.
OC/Reader are besties with Xipe (goes on a date all the time) and IX (bcs its hilarious). Likes to go sightseeing with Fuli and constantly argue with Aha lmao.
p.s. im hesitant to include the notion of 'Reader' as im not used to using that title but i think most people are more comfortable with that. i, however, will not use Y/N.

Dreams are the manifestation of oneself. Made from desire,experience, trauma, and hate. Many things can warp the mind to elude the creature into a dream; one too familiar to let go, or the pain to make them reform. Dreams are a curious thing. It's been a long time since you dreamt. A feeling all too distant since then. 'What did dreams feel like? How do dreams make one feel?" Questions surged through your thoughts while sitting inside a cold and desolate cell.
"Why are these questions coming to me now?" You wondered as you gazed up at the ceiling, eyes wandering at every crack and fragment dangling from the stone before a loud clang echoed cutting your thought.
The sound was made when a guard thrust his sword at the bars. "Quiet fraud!!! This world doesn't need your corrupt thoughts out loud!" The guard sneered as he pulled his blade. back to its sheath.
Brushing off the guard's words, you stepped closer to the bars with a sly grin while leaning closer. "Hey, do you know how dreaming feels? It's been a while since I've had one." Yet the innocent act was returned with a clang banging into the bars.
"I said quiet fraud!!! You better shut your mouth if you know what's good for you." The guard's voice came aloud, echoing through the dungeon halls. Your face remained unchanged and unfazed by his threat, simply smiling, but yet the tone of your grin became unsettling, leaving a cold sweat down the once threatening guard.
"You know... I prefer my questions to have answers." Your tone of voice was sickly sweet, enough to come off as poison. Your eyes drew closer to the guard, your gaze piercing through his haughty façade. "Now tell me. What is it like to dream?". The guard quickly turned his back away to face you, still, he could feel his mind weighing over him as he felt his body slowly fading from his control, with your question burdening his whole being.
"What is it like to dream?"
Luck graced the guarding knight as a small figure appeared to interfere. "What's wrong? Are you alright?" A young and squeaky voice came as the figure came closer revealing itself as the Dendro Archon, along with another person wearing an expansive hat.
"Wait, Buer" the short man with a big hat came off surprised when the Dendro Archon suddenly dashed off to help the guard. Your smile faded as you saw the Archon come closer before returning, but with a different reason for grinning, then releasing the guard from his agony as he fell to his knees before hitting the ground.
While Kusanali focused her attention on the guard as Wanderer had his eyes on you, wary of your intentions as you had the guts to impersonate a being of another plane. "Why are you trying to act like a god? That won't get you anything." He sneered while keeping his distance. A low chuckle escaped your lips as you looked at him. "That's very rich coming from someone who tried to become a god." You teased as you lay your bum on the floor with your legs crossed, giggling at your little joke.
Your short statement made the Wanderer's blood run cold, if he had any. Ever since her erased himself from Irminsul, no one else other than the traveller, Paimon, and Bier could have known, yet, some imposter knew that. "How did you..." The Dendro Archon overhead you and Hat Guy's little exchange and came over with a tinge of fear behind her face brimming with courage. "How did you know all that? Ever since he was removed from Irminsul, no one should have known about that."
Your smile was unchanging as you looked up to her and giggled. "Tehehe... Maybe you could try guessing-" your voice leaving a little teasing tone as your eyes remain on the young Archon.
The Dendro Archon remains unmoving, her eyes still as untainted waters of a clear spring, the clarity deceivingly clear. "Because you've seen it before, again and again, countless times, in every loop you've experienced..." She voiced out with a tinge of pity laced in her stern facade.
Your smile was drowned out by the Lord's words, while also leaving her company confused. Standing up from your laxed form, slightly towering over the young Archon while your eyes were dead set on hers, your teasing aura vanished into a tense and trembling form. "You... remember...?" Your voice quivered as well as your eyes. Your once calm facade crumbled showing the same prey that was hunted countless times.
Walking back into the shadows that filled the cell you were locked in, turning away as thoughts and words escaped your lips in mumbles, mumbles no one else in the dungeon could understand. Facing the wall you clenched your fingers on the surface, grabbing onto what little sanity is left before madness drove your mind. "Lieslieslieslieslieslies... Even... evenifyouremember... You paused your rapid mumbling as you clenched your hands harder on the wall, breaking your nails before your blood oozed out.
Your silence filled the dungeon with a haunting flavour, like the clam before the storm, leaving the Dendro Archon and her companion uneasy. "Kusanali, we should leave this nutjob. We're not gonna get anything from them." Wanderer tries to tell his concerns, but Nahida was laser focused on getting more from you.
The silence was deafening before it was interrupted but the sound of a droplet hitting the floor, then another, and another. Your hands rested on your sides, before turning your head to the two outside your cell.
Your sudden change in form left the two alarmed as Wanderer gets in front to protect the Archon.
You were still as still a statue; in an instant, you leapt onto thern but you were stopped by the bars holding you in. Your eyes showed an insane victim conscience about freedom or a trap. "Remembering that means NOTHING!!! LIARS! You're just here to ask me SHIT aren't ya!!!" Your furious yells echoed through the hollow halls while. While your hands gripped harder on the bars, your blood continued to flow, blood of glimmering gold against the small ember of light flickering from a lamp.
"You're... The Overseer...?"

The Exciting Chronicles of the Shapeshifter and the Eccentric Gentleman

See how the serfs work the ground (see how they fall) And they give it all they've got (fall) And they give it all they've got (fall) And you give it all you've got 'til you're down (fall)
The Mind Electric, Miracle Musical
Words: 2.8k
“...be okay?”
“He…go.”
His body felt heavy. It was like someone attached hunks of lead to his limbs. Also, everything was slightly sore. Opening his eyes felt like a challenge; the most he could do right now was flutter them. Eventually, after several tries he opened them.
The ceiling and the feeling of blankets covering him greeted him first. What followed was someone speaking up. “Oh! You’re awake! Prince, go get Number Two.” Footsteps ran out of the room he was in.
Noraa’s familiar face filled his vision. “Good to see you’ve returned to the land of the living! Not that you were dead. Just unconscious.”
“You really had us worried there, Apophis. I like your fake name by the way” he flatly said.
Number One felt too tired to snark back. “I thought you’d be busy with the kingdom, at least enough that you wouldn’t pester me.”
“I’m on break, but seriously. Apophis?” Noraa crossed his arms. “You don’t even have snake motifs. Also, nice cane you summoned. Number Five and Six were quite interested in it.”
Number One hummed. “Thank you for the compliment, but if it’s all the same to you I’d like to chug down a regeneration potion.”
“Funny you should mention that, but I’ve actually been drip-feeding you some ever since we laid you down. We didn’t want to rush it out of fear of being too hasty,” Noraa explained. He took out a small glass vial of a glowing light orange liquid; it was nearly depleted.
The gentleman rubbed his temples. “I see. And, what of Mercy? Are they alright?”
“Oh yeah, they’re safe. They’re hanging out with the other villagers to distract themselves.”
Oh. Oh thank goodness. Number One sat up in his bed. “That’s…good. That’s very relieving.”
“Yes. Yes it is,” agreed Noraa.
They chatted for a while longer. Noraa filled him in on what had happened after he blacked out. The others had been informed of his fight with Zhongli via Mercy and they all rallied in record time. Once he was secured, Number 6 and 7 went and wiped any memories of Apophis and Mercy. In Noraa’s words, it was, “a rather exciting experience for everyone. Please don’t do that again.”
The both of them sat in silence until Number Two came in alone. The stern-looking man went through the pleasantries and then asked for a report. Number One explained what happened; Four and Two listened closely. He saw their expressions turn from stoic poker face to unsatisfied frown. Number Two closed his eyes.
“I see. So it was a bust,” he said in a disappointed tone.
Noraa sighed. “That’s…not good for us, but at least we know that now. From here on out, we move forward.”
Number One chose that moment to bite the bullet. “Speaking of going forward with things, I was told to pass a message from Him.”
Noraa tilted his head. “Who?”
The other two looked at him expectantly. Noraa took three seconds before his eyebrows raised. “Ohhh-OHH right. Our…patron!”
 Number One proceeded to explain what he saw. The artist at his workbench, the message, and the image he’d been given. Noraa and Two looked at each other and nodded; the former turned and walked away. Two snapped his fingers. Whatever fatigue left inside Number One disappeared.
“We’ll discuss this later. I think for now you should get some fresh air.” he said. He turned his back on One before adding, “If I were you, I’d think about what to discuss with your…acquaintance. A friendly reminder: your contract with them is up.”
With that cheerful note Number Two left. Number One’s shoulders drooped. He nearly forgot about the contract. He’d been so focused on protecting them that they’d set that aside. But now, Number One simply laid back down again; his mind had already begun to set up a scenario to go with.
///
A day later, Number One was walking around the newly completed square. He sat by the fountain and crossed his legs. Any second now, Mercy would meet him here per his request. Number One sighed. Again with the waiting, always the waiting…
The fluttering of wings drew him out of his thoughts before he could hide in them. He looked down to his side to find a finch had landed beside him. It was a small and pretty thing with yellow plumage and blush stickers. The finch paid him no mind as it sat there; occasionally it preened itself. Number One chuckled.
“Mercy, is that you?” he asked tentatively. The finch shook itself and just stared at its surroundings. He started counting down from ten; he made it to two when it suddenly flew away. In the corner of his eye, he finally noticed someone standing next to him. “Ah! There you are-I mean, you’re here! Great!”
Mercy looked different the last time he’d seen them; their hair was blonde with blue streaks and they seemed more loose (if that were a valid word). They wore their jacket halfway so that it hung on their elbows. They seemed no worse for wear; no scars or anything serious-looking. Mask on. Be professional about this.
Meanwhile the finch flew away; the shapeshifter smirked. “I’m sorry, did I interrupt your chat with the bird?”
Number One rolled his eyes almost playfully. “No, actually, and furthermore I’m glad to see you’re doing alright.”
At that, Mercy’s eyes darkened. “Yeah. You too.”
Then they walked up and punched him in the shoulder hard. Number One rubbed the spot and remarked flatly. “Ow. That actually hurt.”
“No shit Apophis,” they said angrily (he’d have to get them to stop calling him by that fake name. It felt weird). Mercy crossed their arms. “That’s for scaring me half to death. And for spooking me with that-that chain link inside Eldy’s face. Like, that was some serious…I don’t know the word for it, but it was unexpected!”
 “Mm. I suppose I deserved that,” he admitted. He patted the space next to him. Mercy sat down, evidently pleased by his admission. Apophis folded his hands in his lap and sat up straight. The sound of the fountain’s rushing water made for excellent white noise; the location was perfect for a one-on-one talk.
Where to begin? Hm, I suppose just go with old reliable and build up to it before ripping the band-aid off. “I like your outfit. It’s nice to see you experiment with clothing. Actually, Number Seven is great at design in general. If you’re interested, you could ask him for more knowledge.”
Mercy hummed. “Uh-huh. Is that what you came to talk to me about? My future.”
Apophis nodded. Okay, here comes the segue. “Mercy-no, my dear partner. I want to tell you that you’ve been rather brilliant during the months you’ve stayed here. Your growth has been interesting, and you’ve surprised me for the better.”
He looked them in the eye. “Furthermore, your performance during the mission was spectacular.”
Mercy squinted at them in confusion. “...I don’t like how you’re buttering me up man. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the compliments, but you’re doing it an awful lot and it’s making me uncomfortable.”
Good. Hold onto that feeling for a little more. Apophis rubbed the back of his head. “My sincerest apologies. Why don’t I just get to the point then. What I want to say is you’ve completed the terms of our contract. Thank you, you’ve been a lovely partner.”
He stuck out his hand to them. Mercy looked at it, then at him, then back at his hand. They reached out to take it only to pause. Their hesitation made its way onto their face. Number One felt confused.
Apophis blinked. “I suppose this counts, if you’d like.”
“Apoph-no, can I call you Number One again? It doesn’t…sit right on my tongue,” they asked anxiously.
“Sure.” It was a fake name anyway so he didn’t care. It’s not like he was attached to it.
“Number One, can I make a request?”
“Shoot.”
“Can I stay-can I stay with you here-with the others? I want to help you…if possible,” they said nervously.
Number One gazed into their eyes. They looked young and full of hope; it was full of a wanting that had been there ever since they were freed but was suppressed. Although his smile was on, it felt a little strained. Although Mercy had been freed, their issues hadn’t been resolved. They weren’t as obsessed as before, but they still had developed abandonment issues which had yet to be addressed.
“Mercy,” Number One said gently. He licked his lips. “I can’t offer you what you seek. I’m afraid I don’t want that right now.”
“Then-then why can’t we…?”
“I…wish I had the capacity for something more, something that intimate; a bond close enough for two people to call themselves best friends is a beautiful thing, and I wish you luck in finding it.”
He continued. “Listen, you don’t have to leave right now. I’d rather you stay and understand yourself until you’re ready to stand on your own two feet. You are…”
Interesting. The most interesting being I’ve come across. You can be whoever you want to be and I envy that potential. So you know what? Be proud of that fact, and don’t let anyone else convince you that you’re invalid. I just…I just like-yeah.
The two fell silent. Mercy combed their hair back with a hand. “Is that…how you really feel?”
Number One blinked. Had he just said all of that out loud? He just nods; he’s still processing that fact. Mercy grunts. “Well…now what?”
“I…suppose…we move on with our lives?”
“Hm. Right. Well, while I’m gonna go take a walk.” The two of them stood up and walked through the square. Mercy said nothing. The atmosphere around the two was strange, but it wasn’t hostile. Number One debated saying something, anything to make this more comfortable. He opened his mouth-
“Whatever you’re gonna say, don't,” Mercy said neutrally. They looked off to the side thoughtfully. “I’m…kind of mad. Not at you, or myself. It’s hard to tell right now.”
“...Maybe some food will do the both of us some good perhaps? I could ask Noraa to cook something tasty. After all, we all do our best thinking on a full stomach,” Number One offered. He saw them tilt their head at that before adding, “Also, I hear he’s made a lovely tiramisu.”
Mercy dryly chuckled. “I know what you’re doing.”
“Is it working?” They scoffed, but there was no bite to it.
“What the hell, fine. I can’t say no to free food.”
Number One put his hands in his pockets. He’d call this a win in his book.
///
They ate a sizable meal before chatting with each other. Night was quickly approaching. The village members were all saying their farewells before they’d tuck in for the day. Mercy informed him that they’d continue to “bunk” at Noraa’s place until they found themselves. Number One bid them goodbye as they went to bed; he’d stay up for a while longer.
Noraa wiped the countertop with a smile. “Well, that was a lovely time, hm? Good food and good company is always nice.”
Number One hummed. He traced the rim of his empty glass slowly. Now that he had the energy, he could think about his next steps. His mind thought back to the man in his dreams; he could see the sketch he’d been given and remember the instructions that were written on it. It was a building accompanied by the words, “save those who transmigrated and make them functional again”. To him, he imagined the building was some kind of mental home or hospital, a place for these “transmigrators” to heal from whatever trauma they accumulated.
Ah, what a noble soul He is. Truly, my business partner has a bleeding heart. He giggled to himself. He caught his reflection in his glass. Hm, I’m gonna need a new appearance if I’m to work again. Something more mature, professional, yet powerful. Oh, and I’m gonna need a name. “Number One” has worn out its novelty. What to do-
Suddenly his thoughts of redesigning his form were interrupted by a loud CRACK. It was like someone opened a window while there was a tornado nearby. Chairs were knocked over, and anything that wasn’t nailed down was blown away. Noraa covered his eyes when light began to flash. Number One turned his head to see what was going on, only to arch his eyebrows in confusion. What he saw fueled his curiosity.
“Who the hell,” he starts saying excitedly as he gets out of his chair. His smile widens. “Is trying to punch a hole through space-time at this hour!?”
The rather basic-looking portal seemed to be struggling to maintain its form. It shifted constantly, emitting light occasionally. Colors swirled along its edges like some hyperactive rainbow. However, as the seconds passed it slowly solidified into an ovular shape. A hole opened up from the center which revealed some kind of laboratory; standing to the side is what’s probably the inventor responsible, and in the center is-
“Your Grace, look! It works!” A mature sounding voice said.
Number One blinked (not that anyone could tell with these bangs on. He’d have to get rid of those). Then he put on his most charming grin. “Hello! And who are you? Don’t worry we come in peace!”
The female teenager (good grief not even eighteen years and they’re already in charge of everything) stares at him with an open jaw. She quickly shakes her head and slaps on a smile; it’s somewhat hampered by the bewildered look in her eyes but who cares?
She gives a small wave. “Uhh, hey there! I’m sorry if I interrupted anything…”
“Not at all! Why, I must say that’s a rather interesting contraption! Though, it seems the stabilizers need some refinement,” he comments.
There’s a flash of disbelief on her face. “Wait, are you saying…you know how to build one of these?”
“Build? Ha! My young creator, I’m practically knowledgeable in this department!” To demonstrate, Number One snaps his fingers and opens a mini portal by his side. He reaches in and pulls out a peach. “See? It’s natural to me!”
As he takes a bite out of it, he hears the inventor squee with glee. “This is…! Your Grace! Permission to discuss further with this gentleman! He could help us further refine the device!”
The girl’s face fills with apprehension. “I…don’t know. I mean, it’s just, we just met! It’s so soon and I don’t know if it’s a good idea to ask strangers…”
“May I offer a way to get to know each other then?” Number One says. He flings the peach back. There’s a thud and then Noraa cries out. “Perhaps it would ease your anxiety-oh! Where are my manners? My name is Number One! Pleased to meet you. Might I ask for your name?”
“Charlotte,” she says in a more friendly tone. “It’s a pleasure to meet you Number One.”
The gentleman’s grin widens an inch. “Likewise! Now, why don’t we sit down for some tea? Noraa! Be a dear and grab the teapot will you? We have guests!”
Internally, Number One was vibrating with excitement. He could feel it in his bones. This was another opportunity to figure out what’s going on and he’d be damned if he wouldn’t choose to invest in it. If he could establish a proper base of operations, then it would be one step closer to solving this SAGAU phenomenon once and for all. He chuckled to himself.

AND WE’RE DONE! Hooray!
First off, I’d like to thank anyone and everyone who took the time to read this. Y’all have kept me motivated and grounded throughout the creative process. <3
Second, no that’s not Steambird Reporter Charlotte; it’s a completely original Charlotte. Expect to see her more in the future…! ;3
I’ll keep this short: This is just the beginning. I’m gonna explore more of this idea of: “someone sees this transmigration and goes, ‘this is wrong and unjust’ and goes to do something about it”. I mean, in Number One’s eyes this goes against the natural order of things. Plus, there are all those innocent lives being killed in those Imposter!AUs. Who wouldn’t be uncomfortable with that?
I thought this would be a fun oneshot, only for it to develop out of my control. But this was in a good way in my opinion. It’s given me something to work towards. I like that alot. Also, if need be or if the desire is strong enough, I’ll come back and edit something for the sake of polishing. Maybe I'll share it to ao3...? Hm.
On another note, I’ll actually switch from writing stories to drawing comics and making storyboards/animations. I believe I’ve grown sick of sitting in front of my laptop late at night; I wish to practice and hone my art skills. I hope y’all understand!
As always, please let me know what y'all thought. Critiques, commetns, and questions are more than welcome!
And that’s all! Thank you once again for my readers. Take care of yourselves and don’t be like me who stayed up past midnight to type all of this! ;D

— 𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘂: 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲, 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘂𝘀. ♥
:feat~ alhaitham, kaveh, cyno, tighnari: (warnings~ obsessive behavior + teensy bit of angst)
ᴛᴀɢʟɪꜱᴛ (open!) : @manager-of-the-pudding-bank, @iamdedinside, @ilyuu
Lately, you've been playing a lot more Honkai Star Rail…
Tumblr media Tumblr media
ALHAITHAM is jealous.
Which is new to him, as someone who just about has everything he could need. Everything, that is, except for you.
It’s nearly been a week since you last logged on.
And that scares him. He knows he should trust you, but the mere thought of you leaving him is enough to make the acting grand tremble. You are his light, and without you, he is dead - nothing.
It’s cold.
He misses your warmth. Your happy laughs and snide remarks he witnesses as you play and read through dialogue, seeing your bright smile through your front camera, all of it  unbeknownst to you.
But, all this time, did that mean nothing to you?
Oh, but all of a sudden, is that you? You’re finally back! The scribe can’t hold back his smile, eyes sparkling as you start to load in. He can feel your comforting presence, something that invigorates him, such a simple thing, yet it fills him with the will to live.
Ah, but something is different.
Who’s this Dan Heng you keep mumbling about with such a… dreamy expression?
No, that couldn’t be right. That look was reserved for him only. How could you think of someone else with that gaze?
Oh, so this is what jealousy feels like.
Tumblr media
KAVEH is baffled.
Confused. I mean, is it really all that much to make a fuss about? Sure, you haven’t logged on in a while, but that doesn’t necessarily mean anything.
He’s confident that you won’t leave him! Because, after all, you said it yourself… something along the lines of “SDFJSDFKLSDJFLK I LVOE KAVEH SO MCUH FDJSGLK” ...Or, at least, that was what you had texted over the chat feature to one of your in game friends.
He adores you, so it’s only natural that he praises every word you speak!
Ah, but what’s this new game on your device?
Honkai… Star Rail?
I-Is this what you’ve been spending all your time on? Time spent without him?
But why?
It’s only then that Kaveh notices.
The new way you’ve begun to act whenever you occasionally log on, the way you’re growing distracted, the way you sigh as you collect your daily commissions, the way you barely glance at his way, almost tired of the game that he’s in…
It’s okay, Kaveh tells himself, staring at the ground. The room is dark, and he hasn’t eaten in days, body shaking.
They’ll come around again.
They always do.
Tumblr media
CYNO is reconsidering.
All his life, he knows that what he’s been doing is in the light of justice. All his life, he’s known that he is in the right. All his life, he has not doubted his path.
Yet…
“My Eminence, where have you gone?”
The world was so barren without you. You were incomparable, the pure life that radiated from your being gave him a sense of elation that he had never experienced before. It was a honey-like feeling that was shamefully addicting.
Was it his fault that you had left? He should’ve changed for you.
Perhaps he had missed your subtle signs, perhaps you were upset at him - he had to have done something wrong, otherwise, why would this have happened?
“I’m sorry.” His distraught hands hid his expression, his crystal tears, as he knelt before his shrine to you - a secret oblation that he held in his heart, with things he treasured. A lock of your hair, a page from your notebook, a jewel pendant that you had left behind… they were such items that he disgracefully cherished.
“I’ll do better, I promise. I’ll do anything.”
So please, let me see you one more time.
Tumblr media
TIGHNARI is acceptant.
He’s knowledgeable in so many things… the wildlife of Sumeru’s rainforest, countless antidotes… he knows the forest like the back of his hand.
Despite that, he comprehends you more. He knows what makes you smile, what makes you irritated, all of it - because he loves you, even though he knows he shouldn’t.
You’re someone that’s off limits to a person who’s as lowly as him, as insignificant. Truly, he doesn’t deserve to even be in your presence, but it’s too impossibly warm to resist. After all, the savior is just that benevolent, and your radiance blinds him.
He’s not good enough.
That’s all that can ring through his head when he’s with you. And it’s true to him, because you are perfect in his eyes, and in the eyes of the world. Yet his heart still dares to shamefully race whenever you smile.
So it only makes sense if you leave.
At first, it did come as a surprise, but not much of one. Because he knows he deserved it, and that he was never worthy of your attention in the first place.
Still, his heart aches. But if you’re content, then so is he. Who is Tighnari to argue with your divine judgment?
So, he understands. He understands that you grew tired of him.
Ah, but still, he dares hold a small shred of hope that you’ll come back to see him again.
Is that so sinful?

Can someone help me find some Sagau fics?
1. Alhaitham begs to see author/writer reader’s work and they’re a little insecure about their writing so they hand over some of their work and panic about what he thinks about it, eventually reader forgets giving to him only for him to publish their work. Reader panics and goes over to his house and kaveh opens the door and reader asks to speak with alhaitham and when they do he’s spewing praises. Edit: found this one! It’s Language Shenanigans by thatdeadaquarius!
2. There’s some kind of written language barrier in teyvat where the reader can’t read there and the characters can’t understand what they write and alhaitham kinda recognized what the reader was writing so he took them to the library and there’s like slang from 2015 carved into stone and it kinda horrifies reader. 6. archons reading readers fanfiction. It somehow got into book form and has been circulating to the archons, I remember zhongli sitting behind the desk at the funeral parlor and being so focused on reading that he didn’t notice reader coming in and reader snatches the book from him only to be horrified because he was reading fanfic they wrote and him being like “is this another universe creator?”

11. Venti sleeps with reader in their world and when reader is isekaied to teyvat. venti’s upset because the social standards are different and in teyvat if you sleep together that basically means you’re married so he’s upset because I think reader started flirting with the others? The last part is a little foggy but I remember venti being upset because he thought they were exclusive and reader is just like ‘wat?’
12. Reader being isekaied to teyvat and albedo keeping them at his house.
