I'm not entirely sure how to answer this one, but I'll do my best!

So, I'm I guess my life journey has been growing up in a very close family, my older sister is one of my best friends, which I know I am very very lucky to have been blessed with a family like that. We're always singing and telling stories, and because of that I enjoy stories and singing to this day.

Because of my family, I like to do all kinds of creative things, sometimes with them, and they have always been super supportive of me.

I went to school for English Education, but really, I had no idea what I wanted to do (Still don't 😅) and I only taught for one year before deciding that would be a poor career for me in the long term. Went through the most horrible job experience in my life following that and had my first experience with anxiety and anxiety attacks. I lost my love and desire for art and creativity for a while there and just felt... empty. I Left THAT job to save my health and now I am working in a completely different field, but helping people, and for the most part, I am quite happy with it. It's the healthiest work environment I've ever been in.

I have begun to try doing some more creative things again, I've begun painting and sketching again, and recently started writing some fic snippets, too.

So, I'd say, right now, my life journey is...redirecting. 😊

You know those video games where the character has to complete puzzles and work through their trauma to escape/wake up/something? Obstacles getting in their way and being tied to their past as they delve more into their trauma and have to learn/heal from it before they can progress?

Danny has been around a loooong time. He's old, he's powerful, and has a space in the ghost zone that he controls much like a god. The ghosts have long since started leaving him alone, the ones he's friends with have their own affaires to deal with, and in his ever shifting labyrinthian layer he's too powerful, and even outside of it he can still kick their asses.

and he's without a purpose

His friends had long since passed on after leading long and wonderful lives with him, not even leaving a ghost behind. His Family as well. Jazz had never had children, and try as he and Sam might have, half dead as he was he couldn't have children. He had no one left and nothing to do, and all of eternity to do it in.

Thinking of Jazz is what made him do it the first time

She loved helping people with her psychology, and Danny decided to do it in his own way. It hadn't been pretty, and it hadn't been easy, but he had found his method. Some took to it better than others, and many had different theories about his lair and his motives, but he helped people move past their trauma. Some believed his lair was some kind of purgatory, and... they weren't totally off

So, when Danny moved on to the timeline of the DC multiverse, he had some experience under his belt

He just underestimated how much trauma superheroes can have

People will really go out of their way to find ways to complain about how people ship. "oh but there's canon this (which is what I want to ship)" great, bud. Ship away. There's a tag for you! "I don't like this ship, why can't they just ship (this ship I like)?" Because shippers gonna ship, there's still a tag just for your preferred ship!

Trust me, I feel it. One of my faves has a super popular ship I don't vibe with. Know what I did? blocked that tag and let them ship without bothering me about it. We can leave character tags neutral and ship in ship tags. It's a good setup here. Enjoy your ships.

You can even block headcanons you don't like! It's why we love tags here so much (and get a little pissy when people abuse them - use tags appropriately, this isn't insta or tiktok, you're not influencing the algorithm here.) It helps keep things organized when you use tags to tag just what you want (and whatever algorithm there is here learns only what you want).

Surround yourself with what you want to see in your tumblr experience and you'll be a lot happier that way, trust.

started thinking something along the lines of "aw, what's wrong with me that i feel bad for unsubscribing from company emails" but then i remembered sitting in on a marketing meeting during my internship and listening to them proudly talk about how they use like. behavioral psychology to figure out how best to manipulate people into using their services and i feel much less like there's something wrong with me now
