Y'all please help me!
So I lived in Peru for a year while in high school and while there, there was a REALLY basic but delicious chicken dish that was often made but because it's so basic and common I can't find the exact recipe for it anywhere
From what I do remember it was a chicken breast cut and flattened to be one large thin piece then cooked on a pan on the stove with I want to say just lime juice, salt, and pepper (though this could easily be incorrect and/or missing ingredients) which was then cooked to a light brown and served with rice or fries
It was SO good and SO simple and I had it at least once every couple of weeks, please help me remember what exactly this was!

God meat dish recipes are just. So not single-serve friendly. I have ONE beef short rib. Not a rack of ribs, not multiple short ribs just one. One 400g rib. It’s probably half bone. I am ONE person.
I just want a recipe for ONE beef rib. Not a slab! I can’t use a slab recipe! It doesn’t scale down to a single rib! God I hate google so much

Pinterest is being excellent to me tonight. Here are a couple recipes that look filling, flavorful, and nourishing.
Not only that but affordable.

Any favorite recipes to deal with a lot of green cherry tomatoes? The first frost is tonight so I had to pull all of these off of the plants.

Not to sound like a tradwife or anything but I genuinely believe that everyone should learn how to make bone broth (or, as I affectionatly call it, scrap stew). I'm not gonna call it an easy or simple recipe because you do have to let it simmer for 11 hours and strain it, but if you have a day off to make it its relatively low-effort and cost-efficient and also is a great base for upping the nutritional value of simple foods like cup ramen or plain rice when you're in a pinch for time, as well as cutting down on veggie waste (anything starting to wilt or scraps like carrot peelings can be tossed in there and still make a good broth)

husk can’t cook for shit but he makes drinks like no one’s business. obviously this is part of the course for a bartender, of course he knows how to make drinks, but you can only make so many martinis and old fashioneds before it starts feeling old and boring and monotonous- so husk gets experimental with his cocktails, just for fun, and uses angel as a test dummy. some drinks are hits, some are misses, some are almost there and just need tweaking, and angel is more than happy to provide feedback
and angel, who is an amazing cook, does the same with husk. he does a lot of traditional italian meals, but again, you can only have the same eight pasta dishes so many times before it just gets bland and frustrating. so angel tries new recipes and tries to come up with his own spins on stuff, and even branches out into other cultural dishes. he doesn’t have a lot of time outside of work, but as he starts clubbing less and less, he starts cooking more and more- and he and husk can usually be found in the hotel kitchen late at night.
once they’re officially a couple, most of their date nights include husk sitting on the counter while angel cooks a good dinner and once it’s done they move to the bar, where husk makes special drinks for the two of them. it’s domestic and quiet and so very needed- a calm and relaxed getaway from the chaos that is hell. all they need is each other, and they’re good to go.

Robin landed on the roof next to him and Bruce could already feel the headache building. They were looking down on a young blond man with pointed ears and a large halberd on his backriding on a white horse. The guy looked like he had come straight out of a fairytale. He knew that if this was a new rogue Damian would argue about keeping the horse. Actually he would probably want to keep the horse even if he wasn't a rogue.
Deciding the guy had gotten close enough they swooped down to confront him. The man, startled, stopped his horse and pulled the large halberd off his back. He held it in front of him, as if in warning. The man looked wary of them but not afraid. They stared at eachother for a moment before the man spoke in a language neither Batman not his Robin knew.
---
Link was having a wierd day. He had literally just saved Princess Zelda a week ago (and for the second time) when he encountered some kind of demon in black and white. The Master Sword glowed in the demons presence which was all Link needed to know before chasing after the being. The thing, looking like a teen in odd clothing that reminded him of links own rubber suit, bolted into a green portal it had created.
Not hesitating he had his horse leap into it. And now he was in a strange place with no sign of the demon. After getting attacked by a man yelling in a language he didn't recognize, he switched out his sword for a halberd for that extra reach on horseback and continued on his way, leaving the unconscious man on the road side behind him.
This place was odd. Parts of some walls would light up, showing images of people and places he didn't know along with a written language he didn't recognize. He came across many people who looked at him oddly...or at least he thought they were people. They looked like Hylians but most of them were taller than the average Hylian and to Links horror they had short rounded ears. How could they hear thier gods with such tiny ears?
He was scared, but he carried on anyway. Eventually he gets confronted by someone dressed as a monster and a child. They manage to settle thier...dispute?...without violence so that was nice. He pulled a few apples and swift carrots out of his tablet-to the curiosity of the duo- and hands them to the child. The kid caught on quickly and raced off to feed his horse her favorite snacks.
Link will have to figure out how to overcome this language barrier
Bruce however, has discovered this was not a man, but a teenager lost in a foreign world and is set on adopting him.

-ˋˏ [ 03 : 31am ] — Satoru Gojo.
· · ─────── ·𖥸· ─────── · ·
There is something so sweet about getting accustomed to living on your own, with the person you love dearly.
If you had still been living with your mother, she probably would've been scolding the two of you as of right now.
The kitchen was a mess, flour coating all of the surfaces and even sticking with little to no effort against the tiles. You couldn't help the laughter erupt from your lungs after taking a peek at him: egg yolk stains on his black shirt, flour lightening his hair and the stripe of fresh, melted chocolate adorning his cheek.
You felt youthful again, scared to get caught by your parents that followed with a lecture.
But there were no parents, no lectures. In fact, it was just the two of you, in your shared house, in your very own kitchen that you didn't mind messing up once in a while.
Not even at three in the morning.

I think the reason garlic lovers (me included) are always like, "that isn't enough garlic, double it" is because we're cooking all the damn flavor out!! Like, yeah, sometimes you need more. But listen. Listen. If you want that mega sharp flavor? Ultra garlicky goodness?
Don't saute your onions and garlic together and then throw your other veggies or whatever in the pan. Don't do it! Garlic's flavor becomes super mellow as it cooks, which is why you can't taste its telltale sharpness in the end. If you saute it for 10 minutes, that flavor will basically be gone, and you'll need two or three times as much to replace it when you want that zing of garlicky goodness!!
Mince up those measly two cloves and throw them in for only the last minute of cooking. You'll get that tasty garlic aroma and flavor without using a whole head.

I headcanon that Wyll and Gale take turns when it comes to cooking for the party, with the other being the "sous-chef". (Gale having more experience cooking overall but Wyll having more experience cooking outdoors). They learn a lot from each other.
However, Wyll quickly learns (like Gale's old teachers at Blackstaff) to give Gale little tasks while he cooks otherwise Gale's gonna be an annoying little backseater while Wyll is trying to cook.
