Ink and Dream in a poly relationship with doll-like Reader who wears lolita goth style clothes

* Now canonically these two don’t get along but let’s say how they both met you was a MAJOR coincidence. Dream met you at a time you were at your lowest. He stayed and cheered you up. Then Ink came through via accidental portal mishap while trying to escape Error….right in front of you two. Yea you could sense the tension in the air between the two. But luckily you just simply welcomed them kindly and invited them to stay as long as they wished.

* Yup. They were in love. Eventually they managed to come to an agreement to make you happy. They are usually busy but you didn’t mind. As they always came back and kept their promise to make you happy. Dream likes to call you a princess whenever he looks at your delicate features and doll like face. Ink calls you his masterpiece as he always found your outfits, although not too colorful, very creative.

* And you always make them feel right at home. Sometimes Dream can come back so exhausted from being the guardian of positivity and dealing with Nightmare. Even if he’s too stubborn, drag his ass to bed. Give him cuddles and let him rest. You get some time with him AND he gets the rest he needs? Win-win!

* Ink is very forgetful and sometimes forgets to visit you. You might have to be a little patient with him. Dream does get annoyed about it but helps by reminding Ink. He always comes back with gifts and an apology. Just reassure him and remind him how much you love him. (Don’t worry he’ll go from sad to happy in seconds-).

* And I’d say you would be the reason these two slowly start getting along again too! They actually talk to each other more and hang out thanks to you. Sure they do still have their disagreements but stuff like this takes time! Just be by their side and help when you can!

* Best activity together: Making up each other’s outfits then just doing a makeshift fashion show. Ink does your makeup and Dream does your hair. And you give them fun outfits too! You all have the most fun giggling and laughing at each other before just cuddling on the floor and enjoying the moment.

Mini story time!!!

You smile seeing Dream in one of your dresses. He looked so adorable and he pulled it off wonderfully! Ink was also laughing at him making Dream glare at him. Ink suddenly gulped when you and Dream pulled out a rainbow dress and a clown wig. We both chased after him and managed to put it on. The colorful dress actually looked nice on him but the wig Dream threw on him made us burst into laughter.

“Oh very funny,” Ink said with his eye lights red.

“It’s ok sweetheart,” You said taking off the wig, “The dress is fun, cute, and colorful! Just like you!”

Dream laughed, “Sorry Ink! The dress really was picked out for you. I just brought the wig as a joke!”

Ink looked surprised that Dream was the one who was behind the little prank. He laughed with us but suddenly pulled out a paintbrush, making a mischievous smile making us both freak out. But we were pleasantly surprised when the paint simply added yellow ribbons and bows to the dress on Dream. Both of us ‘ooooo’ed

And ‘aaaah’ed at the lovely added details. The yellow added a pop of color and matching Dream’s eye lights made it look amazing!

“See! I told you a little color wouldn’t hurt,” Ink said proudly.

“Nice job Ink! You two look amazing!” You said happily.

“But we have ONE more person left,” Dream said smiling sweetly. You gulped seeing both of them having their full attention on you.

You sigh and put your arms out, “Ok! Lead the way!”

The three of you happily enjoyed your time together as Dream ran his hands in your hair playfully and Ink making you giggle as he flirted with you while doing your makeup. And you couldn’t have been happier.

"Soft Fashion" Penguin Party x Reader

eyyyyy I don't get to write a ton of Penguin parties! Always exciting. Believe me, I'm rather familiar with the lolita style. It's not something I could wear or pull off, but I love looking at the different dresses and styles. I tend to like gothic styles or dresses with richer tones like you see in classic.

TW: some unhealthy/villanous relationship dynamics, doll play if you squint at 2022

Gotham

At first, he confuses the soft personality for someone to be manipulated and controlled. Another pawn to be used in his grandiose plans for King of Gotham. Then he fell for you. It should have been so easy not to but... What originally started as plots for how to use you swiftly became annoyance at the idea of other people trying to use you. It's so annoying! He supposes he'll have to look after you forever now.

Honestly? The fashion itself makes him feel masculine in a positive, non-toxic way. He's rather used to people looking at him or thinking of him as effeminate because of his smaller stature and method of dress- Not that effeminate is bad, not at all. Yet, it's frustrating when your gender identity is distinctly male.

So dating a woman who dresses in a highly feminine style gives him a reason to flash his peacock feathers, so to speak. In some ways, it encourages him to get flashier with his outfits. Why not? The two of you together, a complimentary pair...

And you two will have matching elements when you go out. Whether it's small color coordination, or the same fabric was used for your dress and his handkerchief- It's a subtle way of telling others to back off.

Would be willing to try the Ouji fashion for you. A prince to your princess. He'd look fucking good in it, too.

BTAS

Obviously, you are a woman of status. This put him on guard at first, given his past run-ins with women like that using him for gag amongst her peers. He thought of how he should dupe you first before you could dupe him! Then he saw some cad harassing you for your purse and your genuine gentle nature- Bother.

His assumption was that you must be a lady of some kind to be dressing up like that. Perhaps the last of your true kind here in Gotham. You were everything a Lady should be- impeccably dressed, polite and well-mannered. Of course, some of that could be his own bias painting a perfect portrait of you. He wasn't wrong, in a way. Money and familial status does not necessarily a Lady make.

He has opinions about his favorite style of dresses and he has 0 shame sharing them. Mind you, he won't stop you from wearing things he "disapproves" of, he's not some moronic numbskull who feels entitled to your body and the clothes on it. Yet you might notice he tends to like fancier dresses with longer skirts, to the knee and below. Oh! and the ones with matching gloves, oh, those are lovely. He can't wear gloves himself due to his... condition. He loves seeing them on your delicate fingers.

There are moments you might need to pep him up as he stands next to you. He's aware that no matter how well he dresses there are still "flaws" in his appearance. Then he'll tell you what a lovely creature you are, inside and out!

Burton

Oh boy. Look. You need to know it now, but this man is not soft, nor is he anything related or parallel to dainty. He's crass, he's short and he's rather grungy. But holy fuck all, he likes looking at you.

The big problem is the pawing. He already has a handsy problem when being with anybody because the man craves social and physical intimacy after being denied it for so, so terribly long... Seeing you all dressed up is kind of like finally getting your mitts on the porcelain plate that was in the cabinet for all those years. The ones you got punished if you ever touched them. So now you kind of want to just smash it against a wall and-

No, wait. That metaphor went a little too far. What he means to say is, he wants to see the dress come off. With his teeth, but you seem like you wouldn't like that. Yeah, he figured you wouldn't like that.

It takes so much self control for him not to be a little freak around you but the fact that he does says so much. He'll crack an awful, nasty little joke, expecting to see color rise to your cheeks. Dancing along that line of too much and just enough. Anybody else fucks with you in that way, though, and he'll break their hands.

The two of you are an odd pair. Yet there's no doubt there's plenty of love to go around.

Arkham games

He's so about showing off his partner in nice things as a status symbol and lolita dresses cost a fuck-ton so he's already into it. He actually doesn't need an explanation because unlike some others on this list, he's been to Japan and the harajuku shopping district in his prime crime days. Y'know. Before his wings got clipped (banned entry into the country).

It's about the image. The status. When you're decked out in warm winter lolita fashion to accompany him to his Iceberg Lounge, it just says something to other people. You're his most special companion who gets everything you desire. And you earn it by just being you!

And... you know. Following his rules. Shy, dainty, and soft. You're like the prim and proper ladies at the boarding school he was shipped off to as a lad. To be treasured by some. In his line of work- to be fleeced.

Oh, not to worry, lamb. You do everything he says, and no one will be able to touch you. You keep to his hours, to his place- He's been a bit of a collector for a long time, love. Think of it like an elegant birdcage to keep you away from the filthy vermin that want to sully your wings.

That and don't comment about his eating habits. Follow all that and he'll get you whatever you want. You can be the adorable puffin to his penguin!

Batman 2022

He does not get it at first. Ain't lolita that book about the creepy guy who adopted the teenager he wanted to sleep with? oh. They made a fashion out of it? Why? That seems like a whole mess of implications, ya know? Sure, people dress up in Gotham in all kinds of weird shit these days, he just wants to know why this one.

Once you get into it, that it's only tangentially related, it's fashion, most importantly you like it- He'll tell you you're a cute little doll. His cute little doll.

It is funny given the kind of club he runs. Scantily clad men and women for entertainment about and yet you're... Very fully dressed, for the most part. If you ever wanted to get a little more risque, he wouldn't mind. A shorter gown, a peek at those thighs above the stocking... He could get into that.

Speaking of dolls, he wouldn't mind dressing you up. Or at least picking out those outfits. He's got a good sense for a suit, he'd figure out what dresses and accessories look best on you for an occasion. Gives him a fun sense of control and power play he enjoys. Rolling your stockings onto you, rolling them back down. Kissing your knees and calf. You got him kneelin' for you, sweetheart. Ain't you just a pretty picture looking at him like that?

He's going to teach you how to use a gun. Something tiny you can fit in your bag. He plans on being there if anything should happen, but pretending you're completely safe in his hands given everything is uh. Foolish, in his opinion. At minimum, you're getting a fancy taser. You can make it cute if you want. You're much too nice to not know how to defend yourself if you got in a bad situation!

Oliver doesn't get cuteness aggression from many things, but you're certainly one cause of it. Kunigami can't help but stare at you every time you're near him. To him, there's no more adorable sight than you running up to him for a hug. He's always very careful, though. He doesn't want to accidentally mess up something about your outfit or your hair. If there's a special occasion, he tries to match your outfit with something he has in his closet. It's hard because of how different his style is, but he tries to get at least the colours close.

Zantetsu tries to come off as cool and serious all the time, but that always breaks when you're near him. His voice always gets a bit higher whenever he talks to you, just like when someone talks to a cute animal. He always tries to be more serious again, but never manages to keep that up for long. You're just too cute for him to stay serious. If you're out in public and someone says something negative about your style, Zantetsu defends you immediately - even though he always messes something up and ends up seeming like an idiot again.

I have to agree with the general consensus that chrollo is a collarbones and thigh man, but may I also offer: the space between the neck and shoulder, and the soft tummy area between your hips. so naturally, lots of wide, low cut necklines and fabric that hugs your waist and shows every soft curve

If I'm not over stepping would you mind drawing something of how you picture Doll!Reader and Retro!Reader?

I understand they are both suppose to be reader inserts but surely you have a basic idea?

Okay, so I’ve been trying to draw this but failing miserably because there are so many things I can do with them! So, here’s the best I can offer instead.

Ive already made a few posts on what Retro looks like, and a short little comic that has their antenna (ears?) and the sketch of the same comic has their tail. The general description and clothes I imagine them in should be somewhere on one of the Retro!Reader Masterlists.

Now, Doll is the one I’ve intentionally kept mostly ambiguous. Their style is described in Antique Beauty, as more frilly and whatnot as a result of… well, everything that happens in that oneshot. I imagine their usual fashion choices would be something akin to that, but a lesser degree. A lot of my inspiration for Doll!reader comes from Tearzah, an artist on here and Deviant art, specifically their character Ash Kinoshita. Their art has changed a lot over the years and I love their most recent works a lot, but for this character, I take the most inspiration from their 2016-2018 art (I think that’s the correct timeline?). Anyway, I mostly enjoy the clothes they draw Ash in, as well as Ash’s Doll Form. That’s where I take the most inspiration.

Those are some examples. First two are of ash, I do t know the third one. Fourth and fifth is Ash’s twin, Elliot. The last one is Ash in their Doll form. I imagine Doll!reader looks the most like the character in the third image, simply because the proportions are more akin to what you’d see from a doll in the toy store (like Barbie’s or classic monster high dolls).

Doll readers fashion would be more frilly and Lolita-like probably because Vox dressed them like that once or twice and they started experimenting with it. Outside of that, it’s more toned down to a regular amount of frills. If that makes sense. The more revealing clothes aren’t something I imagine Doll!reader being comfortable with, especially at the start, but I think they’d grow more accustomed to it over time?

Remember, Doll!reader is very pliant and malleable, especially when it comes to what Vox wants. They lose their original personality (whatever that may have been, it’s unspecified) and develop a more affectionate and submissive one instead. They’re still playful and sarcastic, but it’s all perfectly crafted and tailored to Vox’s preference. In Antique Beauty it’s way more obvious and pronounced, but for the actual canon, it’s still there, just more innocuous and hard to see sometimes. In Antique Beauty, Doll becomes completely mindless by the end but in the general canon, this will never happen. They’re susceptible to suggestion and can be swayed easily, but their emotions and thoughts are still there.

This is to say that when it comes to fashion or makeup, Vox influences a lot of it. Doll might not like something at first, but if Vox expresses approval, they’ll start to change their mind and wear it more. Similarly, I don’t think Doll would be a fan of BDSM, Pet Play, or any similair kinks if they were in their right mind. The thing is, they aren’t. They’re always being controlled or at the very least, influenced by Vox in one way or another. If Vox likes something, they have to play along. They have to like it- pretending to like it won’t cut it. Vox wont hesitate to use his power to convince Doll!reader that they enjoy certain things.

As for skin tone, hair, etc. I don’t have anything in mind. I typically imagine something similar to how I look or how I want to look (I don’t have a bio on my page, but I’m afab nonbinary) so I’d imagine Doll with long wavy dark blue hair and an undercut, with pale skin (because omfg you guys I’m as white as Lucifer, I swear). I imagine Retro would have moles or freckles because that’s what I have, but that’s not a trait I imagine Doll reader would share. Simply because a doll is supposed to be ‘perfect’ and consequently, don’t typically have those features. Unfortunately. It’s very sad, I wish they did.

Anyway, that’s all I have thought out for now, I hope this helps!

Warnings: Bibury previously being in a toxic relationship, fear of being alone/abandonment(Bibury), attachment issues/separation anxiety(Bibury), jealousy(Bibury), nightmares(Bibury)

A/N ~ Bibury is canonically 100+ years old, and looks way younger. But, she looks around 15-17, so I think it fits in with my rules. Also, I sometimes see her name spelled as “Vibry”, but I’ve mostly seen it as “Bibury” so I went with that.

~ Bibury has only been in love once before, and the person of her affection ended up being a liar and a cheat who was responsible for her loneliness. The man barely even showed her any affection. So it’s safe to say that she knows next to nothing about relationships.

~ When Bibury has a crush on you, she doesn’t know what to do. She wants to tell you, but she’s terrified that you’ll abandon her if you don’t feel the same. Luckily, you did feel the same, and was the one who asked her out.

~ This girl has no clue what to do once you start dating. You’ll have to teach her how relationships work. Take her on dates, give her compliments, affection etc. It’ll take her forever to get used to being in a healthy relationship though, so please be patient.

~ Bibury definitely has major attachment issues. Remember how she had that doll, Iru, with her at all times? And how she would panic if she didn’t have him? Well congratulations, since she no longer has Iru, she’s now attached to you! She’s never more than 5 feet away from you, and she’s almost always holding onto your arm or shirt. If you suddenly leave without her knowledge, she panics. Like mentioned before, she has a major fear of abandonment. So if she doesn’t know where you are, she’s scared that you won’t come back. But don’t worry, the longer you two are in a relationship, the better she’ll get(as long as you don’t feed into it).She’ll eventually get used to the fact that you love her with all your heart, and that you’d never leave.

~ Her favorite kind of dates are going to bakeries. Her goal is to eat at every single one in town. Be sure to remind her that you have to buy the sweets; she constantly forgets that money is a thing in this world. The first few times you took her to eat, she ate the bakery’s entire stock of cupcakes, leaving your wallet empty. She felt really bad, and had the Pretty Cure help her bake an apology cake.

~ Bibury would go shopping with you, but it’s hard to find things that suit her style and taste. She’s given up on looking for clothes in town. Luckily, the internet is a thing. You had to teach her how to use it, of course. But once she knows the basics, she’s in awe. She can buy gothic lolita style clothes from anywhere in the world? AND they deliver it to her? What?! She doesn’t know how it’s possible, but she’s happy! After that adventure, she asks you to teach her more about the magical world of the internet.

~ She gets shy when it comes to PDA, but at the same time, Bibury wants everyone to know that you’re taken. She’ll hold onto your arm, and she lets you give her affection.

~ Bibury gets very jealous, and she’s not subtle with it at all. She’ll straight up yell at the person you’re talking to, and drag you away from them. She’ll be mad for the rest of the day(unless you buy/make her a treat!).

~ She gets very talkative when she’s with you. You’re her comfort person, so she’s comfortable telling you anything and everything that’s on her mind. She likes how you, unlike Iru, can give actual responses!(Bibury’s been talking to that doll for way too long. Bless her heart.)

~ Bibury is probably one of the most touched starved people on the planet. I honestly don’t think she’s had a hug in 100 years(no, I’m not exaggerating).So please, give her the affection she deserves. She may act annoyed, but in her mind, she’s begging you not to let go.

~ Bibury has terrible nightmares. She doesn’t even have good dreams, she just either doesn’t dream at all, or it’s a bad one. It’s obvious that this messes with her sleep schedule, because of the dark circles around her eyes. It’s gotten worse since she’s gotten rid of Iru, who used to be her comfort item. But you didn’t know just how bad it was until she fell asleep on you, and was basically fighting for her life in her sleep. You told her that she could come to you when she has her night terrors. Hello again can you do a toby and offenderman (separate) with a reader that is able to turn people into doll-like creatures (dress in lolita fashion,carries around a porcelain doll,speaks elegantly,etc)

Toby:

He is equal parts absolutely amazed and incredibly horrified at your ability to do so. He finds the thought of being turned into a doll to be quite terrifying, so he tries not to linger on that thought too much and avoids making you angry at all costs so he doesn't end up on the receiving end. He's also not the biggest fan of the little porcelain doll you carry around, but he knows it's important to you so he just avoids looking into its eyes for too long. He does tend to fret and worry over you, wondering if turning people into dolls would ever have any adverse reactions to you, and so whenever you've used your powers for what he deems to be too long, he ends up getting protective over you and making sure that you're resting and taking a nice big break, as he doesn't want you getting weak or exhausted from overuse of your powers. He admires you for your abilities, and that admiration is what drives him to look after you.

Offenderman:

Now that's interesting! Offender has been around for quite a long time, and he's come across a large bunch of people, all with a different array of powers, and so when he stumbles across you he's quite drawn in. You have a very strong, very interesting set of abilities right there, and you have an obvious motif to match, so he's hooked to you quite fast. He's quite drawn to people that are unique like you, so it's no surprise he was so taken to you. I can also see him being a big fan of your fashion sense, spoiling you by getting you new clothing as a gift whenever he has the chance, and it's always in colors and styles that you're familiar with and enjoy. He does also like to keep his eyes on you to make sure you're not overdoing anything, but he also chooses to put a lot of faith in you and assume that you know your limits. But, worst case scenario if something happens, he'll be there to care for you while you recuperate.

I was gonna use the picture of Razzle in color but I couldn't really find 1930s things that were colorized, so black n' white Razzle it is, and the word colors are his actual color palette. Razzle icon thingy was drawn for me by my beloved artist Kera.
