Fucked up mentally beyond belief (I mean considering the things he’s gone through, why wouldn’t he be?)

He’s incredibly unstable despite the fact he’s on medication, and really struggles with his emotions and finding a healthy outlet to express them

In my hcs, he has: C-PTSD, schizophrenia, Tourettes, MDD, bipolar and struggles with psychosis, derealisation and depersonalisation a lot.

Despises his dad even after all these years so he tries his best to not get physical when he’s mad, and he basically isolates himself from everyone and self harms/self destructs

Very frequently will have to be reminded to eat, drink and take good care of himself by Tim or another responsible adult. Especially when he’s in a depressive episode

Ok uhm more positive energy now

He has a pretty good relationship with ej, because he’s super understanding of Toby and his disorders since he was a med student and all. I also see him being good friends with Ben, and having an almost parent like relationship with Tim and Brian

When he does eat, he really likes pasta (I’m self projecting leave me alone) because Lyra used to make it for him all the time when he was younger, and it’s become a soft of comfort for him.

Can run really fucking fast. In my headcanons he’s kinda got a sleeper build, but is pretty tall. Around 5’11-6’1.

NOT A TWINK!!! NOT A CHILD!!! NOT A DEPENDENT UWU SOFT WAFFLE BOY!!!

he does have attachment issues, yes, and he is certainly clingy to the people he cares for in fear of losing them, but he is not a baby. He’s a serial killer. It’s 2023 and im still seeing people baby Toby and treat him like an child, SSSSSTTTTTOPPPPPPPP

his voice isn’t extremely deep, but it’s kinda raspy and definitely more deep than normal.

He’s generally a nice dude if you’re nice to him, but will be the most cruel and uncaring motherfucker if you make fun of his tics, disrespect the people he cares for, etc

And god forbid you call him “ticci Toby” or compare him to his dad because you will end up with your head smashed into a wall

Takes surprisingly good care of his hatchets considering how disorganised the rest of his life is

He doesn’t constantly stutter. Infact most of his tics are motor tics where he gets neck jerks, but the most they do is interrupt his speech. He’ll continue on talking like nothing happened, and he only really gets vocal tics when he’s extremely distressed or angry.

Absolutely despises tight clothing.

Spends a lot of his time outside, because it’s something he has control over. His life is fucked up in general and he lacks control in a lot of areas, so he’s desperate to find something that he can control, because it helps ground him

Really attentive and observant when he needs to be

I’ve said this before but he is genuinely so terrified of furbies. They just freak him out

Has a really dark sense of humour, and will very often make jokes about his past (only he can do that tho) or really brutal things that would make any sane person feel unsafe

gets nightmares a lot, and very often finds it hard to sleep. Sometimes his past and the things that he does keep him up at night.

Very frequently he wonders what Lyra and his mum would think of him now, and it upsets him every time because he knows they would be upset. He tries his best not to think about it most of the time.

Has considered going back to the town he grew up in a few times, wondering if he might be able to see his mum again, even just a quick glance of her

But never goes through with it

He loves animals. His favourites are birds and raccoons, but he sometimes will hide in the forest to watch deer and other animals.

Enjoys Midwest emo music, and listens to the front bottoms, McCafferty, etc

Despises the smell and taste of alcohol and smoke. It brings back too many bad memories and he’s terrified of getting addicted and ending up like his dad

YESSSS i can. heres a lil doodle to get me started.

OKKKK the little concept in my head has slender's MAIN GOAL being to prevent any paranormal/supernatural stuff coming out to the general public. hence his proxies being made to get rid of tapes, evidence, and kill if Necessary. sometimes slender makes paranormal/supernatural ppl help out his human proxies "as payment for refuge" in his forest. SO that sorta explains how toby and jack know each other and why jack helps at all. he can't rlly go out to the public so he's stuck with these assholes. it's not really supposed to be a 'mansion' trope, moreso random cabins and shelters littered about the forest, but it could work in the mansion au too

Imma ramble abt toby n jacks friendship (in my head) under the cut + a random x virus doodle

as for toby and jack specifically. toby is impulsive, aggressive, can't feel pain, and doesn't know what's good for him, so he's forced to get help from jack a good bit. for a long while there was hella tension between them since, again, jack isn't helping these guys out of the goodness of his heart. he's helping them bc the forest their boss resides in is the only place he's relatively safe. jack has a weird mix of a inferiority and superiority complex, since he envies toby's humanity but also feels like he's 'better' due to toby's own . . violent habits. toby thinks jack is pretty cool from the get-go ('wooow ur grey..') but he gets pissed off with jack's questions and demands of 'DONT RIP UR FUCKING STITCHES' and 'u have a concussion don't fucking scroll on your phone for 5 hours a day'.

toby has no idea if these demands come from actual concern or annoyance, and frankly, neither does jack. regardless, toby's with jack a decent bit. partially since jack makes a lot of people really uncomfortable so it's easy to go hang out with jack when he doesnt wanna deal with anyone else but still wants company. eventually theyre capable of some decent banter and conversations. theyre both mamas boys so thats a very weird touchy topic that they kinda dance around but both feel very deeply and know the other relates. THEY MISS THEIR MOMS SO BADLY.. :( mayhaps one year toby helps drop off flowers to jack's moms house for mothers day. jacks way too ashamed to even get within a 10 mile radius of his mom. that's kinda the moment things really shift between them and they actually become friends.

toby also asks abt university. lyra was at community college until she passed, and toby never considered college as an option, so he gets curious on what he missed out on. he also likes to share stuff abt lyra and their old shenanigans. tim and brian have used his childhood against him multiple times before, and it's not like he's gonna trust ben or jeff with that information. jacks sort of like a void he could talk into. jack feels uneasy talking about his life before the sacrifice, since he misses it so unbelievably bad, but toby accidentally got him to talk about it while treating a burn before.

ok and to top this fucking essay off heres xvirus. i had no idea he existed until this year and someone sent me an ask about his updated design, so he's some scribbles for him :9 his concepts super cool tho so maybe ill get more into him later on

PT.02

<NOTE> Once again this is very long cuz I have a lot of thoughts about Tobys character + story. I didn’t go as in depth with his story cuz I dont know if you guys are interested in that. I have his entire life start to finish planned out in my head so just let me know if anyones interested

TICCI TOBY .

For the first four months after the fire, Toby was completely under the influence of The Slenderman.

He was completely dissociated from the world around him. Toby would get an urge, an intrusion, and he would act on it and thats about the amount of control he had

The boy didn’t initially want to kill. He didn’t know what was happening and he felt like he was losing his mind. It was genuinely terrifying not knowing what was real or fake, not knowing why he coughed up blood or felt static in his head

Or why he felt like something was watching him wherever he went

Toby would find shelter in abandoned cabins littered around the forest he frequently ‘came to’ in, crashing at random junkies places, or even sleeping in trees

Slowly over those four months, he found himself losing track of time. He would wake up and days had passed, not knowing where he was or what he did

Sometimes he’d ‘come to’ with blood on his hands. Toby never knew if it was his or not.

He eventually began forgetting many things of his past. They would simply slip his mind. It started with his childhood, then the faces of his family, then the things they did, their voices, his sister, his mother, his father, his actions. It all became a big blur that eventually faded into nothing

Toby was too separated from reality to care or notice. He could barely process the present moment, he was working completely on autopilot almost as if someone or something else was in control. It’s not like He would let Toby dig into his past anyways

This was Tobys life for the first start. But then it got progressively worse as so did his mental state

He was already a sadistic fuck who secretly took pleasure in hurting others (but god knows he wouldn’t have ever admitted that in the past), so when he had his first target, it wasn’t difficult to push him over the edge

It wasn’t as if he hadn’t killed someone before, he knows by the places he had woken up in and the blood on his hands that he’d done some awful things when he wasn’t quite “awake”

He should’ve been freaked out, but Toby knew what he was capable of. And a part of him liked knowing he had that capability to take another persons life without hesitation

UNDERGROUND .

But despite this power, he was sick. He was plagued with Slender Sickness. The parasite burrowed in his mind and his body and now he was a conduit for The Slenderman

The forest Toby usually hid out in was typically called “Slender Forest”, or sometimes just “The Forest”. It was Slender himself. The forest was apart of Slenderman. The roots were his tendrils, the trees were his eyes, the ground was his skin.

The forest existed outside of the bounds of reality and could only be accessed if you were connected to Slender in some way. If you had access to The Slenderman, you had access to the forest

And most people who were like Toby would seek shelter there as it was the best place to hide from civilization and the authorities

The edge of the forest was connected directly to the real world. It was your typical woods with hiking trails, open areas for campers, and was right on the edge of a highway near a lake

The more you go into that forest (if you have initial access to it) the more you’d be entering Slender Forest. It gets darker, colder, the terrain is flat and repetitive

Deeper you go, darker it gets. Toby always felt like he was in a liminal space when he was in that forest, but in the way it feels like being carried to bed from a car ride by your father when you were 4 years old

Eerily familiar and nostalgic, even though there was no way in hell Toby had ever been there before becoming ‘sick’

Over the months Toby would find himself meeting more and more people like himself. Some by chance, some by the metaphorical hands of The Slenderman

This kid was a freak, a weird guy who was just generally uncomfortable to be around. He was unsocialized and an antisocial prick and you could easily tell that there was something fundamentally wrong with him

So no matter who he met, and even if they were just like him, Toby would never really get along with anyone

Toby had bad anger issues and would always pick fights with the others. When he met Hoodie and Masky, two men who were supposedly the same as him, he lost his shit

It caused a lot of problems at the beginning. But it hurt when he went against Slenders orders. It hurt. And to someone not used to feeling pain, it felt like eternal hell when he defied orders

Job after job, murder after murder, all the time lost. They spread the sickness, tied up loose ends, fell victim to the eldritch parasite. The group got to know each other in the most twisted circumstances

PROXY .

There are two types of relationship you could have with The Slenderman

You could be a proxy, a direct pawn for him, a spreader of the sickness, a vessel to allow Slender to interact with reality outside of his forest

Or you could be a Creep, a killer, entity, or person with connections to Slender or proxies but not useful/of interest enough to use as a vessel or pawn

Toby was a proxy. One of the top, the closest to Slender, one of the most used by him. And he was as obedient as he could be

The boy was lazy, but dedicated. He got the job done but he got it done messily and carelessly. Starting forest fires, leaving bodies to be found, letting victims go just for the thrill of chasing them, starting fights with connections, mouthing off, etc

This would piss his ‘coworkers’ right the fuck off because now they’re left to clean up his messes

He didn’t care though. He was hyper, reckless, and he always wanted more. Anything to keep him busy

More murder, more drama, more fights, more jobs, more sickness, more connections. More more more more

As time passed, Masky and Hoodie would beat the boy into shape and he would bite back like a bad dog. But he learnt how to survive the world, and he was crafty

Sometimes they'd go weeks and maybe a month without getting any direction from Slenderman. They were all horribly bored

It was so fucking boring

But after everything he's done, all the shit he's seen, all the people he's killed and convinced to start killing, after everyone hes led into Slendermans trap

There was no way in hell this boy could ever find redemption

This was what he was built for. Toby Rogers burned to ash in that fire, and like a phoenix Slenderman pulled him out and crafted him like clay

Just like he molded Masky and Hoodie

This group was in it together whether they liked it or not

BAD DOG .

Now this kid was a menace. He was a fucked up kid who never really grew out of his conduct issues, he grew into them

A spitting image of his father. Bitter, mean, and alone.

He wasn’t friendly. He was a loud-mouthed, arrogant asshole who said and did whatever he wanted to. He would mercilessly tease and put people down just to be on top, and god forbid anybody hurt his fragile ego

Masky and Hoodie would often beat the shit out of him if he caused problems, even if he couldnt feel it. They knew he hated feeling small, and so when he stepped out of line or did something risky they would do just that

Everybody always made him feel small, and he'd do anything in his power to fight back

He spent so many years of his life not being able to do anything in his childhood. He spent so many years being a victim to those who were bigger than him when he was supposed to be nurtured and cared for

And he was so fucking angry. Toby would take these feelings out on his victims. The sense of power over them was exhilarating. It made him feel alive. For once in his life he made sure that no one would ever fuck with him again, he was finally capable of standing up for himself

Their life was in his hands. He loved chasing them through the forest or hearing them beg for his mercy. He loved the feeling of having the capability to beat someone into submission

He would target people who rejected him or made him feel like a freak just for that powertrip. So his victims were primarily girls at bars who treated him like he was a creep, or people who insulted him on the streets

Toby was a stalker. He would hunt them down and wait for the moment they forgot to lock their door at night or made the mistake of taking a shortcut through an alleyway

The boy wouldn’t let anybody fuck with him like that. He was a bully who pushed people around and hurt them if they went against him

But that was just his victims, he was always just the runt of the group back in his world. He wasn’t smart or mature or wise as those other guys were. He was a reckless idiot who never thought twice and would lose himself to dramatics

And so Toby couldn’t ever really escape the bullying and abuse. He was forever stuck being powerless

This reflected back badly onto his behaviour where he would get more and more reckless and do more risky things just to do more. He needed more. He craved stimulation and was a bit of an adrenaline junkie to a fault

Toby never considered consequences. He was an asshole who said and did whatever he wanted. He didnt give a fuck about boundaries or others feelings, and god knows he never once felt bad for the things he did or said

But while he was just like his father, he had his mothers heart. In another world where he was properly nurtured as a child Toby would’ve been a sweetheart who did good in the world

On the rare occasions where he shut his mouth, you could see this in him. He would sometimes awkwardly sit by people who were having a tough time, not really saying anything but just being there. Or he would give advice in the most annoying, intrusive ways. He always meant well though

But he never let this side show. He was far too paranoid and far too angry to ever be that vulnerable with someone

Toby had a good sense of acting though. He had a knack for theatrics and was very good at putting on a show. He could play a troubled teen, a victim of circumstance. Or he could play a stupid naive idiot who was more like a hyper child than anything.

Sometimes he played into the act so well people would completely forget what he was capable of, and what he’s done, until he got pissed off and starting threatening to hurt them

It was eerie at how well the boy could manipulate people

DIRTY WORK .

At the start, Toby glamorized and idealized his situation and The Slenderman. The strange creature was like a god to him, and Toby wouldn’t ever fight against His commands

But as more time passed and more atrocities were committed, after all the pain and suffering, he began to absolutely hate the life he was given

He began understand all of Brians resentment, all of Tims anger

No matter what he felt about it, there was no getting out. Toby couldn’t die, he couldn’t run, he couldn’t hide. There was absolutely no escaping the sickness

He was always watching

Toby did what he did, and he would forever be a puppet to this thing.

Sometimes he would sit alone in the pews of a Church, not to pray or seek forgiveness, but because in a house of worship and holiness the sickness subdued for a short while

The boy wasn’t built for hope and forgiveness anyways. He couldn’t imagine any sort of future for himself and just took everything day by day, moment by moment

So the next few years of his life was spent crashing in abandoned cabins or Tims apartment, ruining every good thing in his life, patrolling the forest, washing blood off of his hands and losing so much time to Him

And for those next few years, Toby would spend every waking moment wishing he was never saved in that fire

Can you do Masky and Toby with a reader who is scared to go to sleep like they keep seeing images of something trying to kill them?

The funny thing is that it's 1 am and I'm starting to see the shadow cat again.

Masky and Toby x Reader who is to scared to sleep

Masky

★ At first he teased you for being afraid of something that doesn't exist. However after a few days of you not getting any sleep he started to take it seriously. You know it's serious when he starts to get worried.

★ If you are scared be alone he can stay with you until you fall asleep. He tries some of the suggestions he got from the Internet to try and help you sleep. Whale noises and chamomile tea before bed are both things he will try.

★ Imagine this guy making you a cup of tea at 3 in the morning. If and when you fall asleep after not getting any sleep for days he will not let anyone wake you up. Seriously, if someone tried he would cover there mouth and drag them away.

Toby

★ Something tells me that he has had his fair share of sleepless nights. He gets it. He already likes sleeping with you (not in that way!) So having a excuse to stay with you longer is great for him, though the circumstance could be better.

★ If he thinks that you really need to sleep after a few days of staying up he would put some crushed up Benadryl into your food. It's probably not the best way to get you to sleep but at this point he's starting to really worry about you.

★ Don't tell me he wouldn't make you little spoon so he can keep his arms around you. If you try to get up in the middle of the night he will hold you against himself and tell you that you are not going anywhere.

★ He means well, but needs to find some better ways to get you to sleep. Then again you're halusinateing because of sleep deprivation so it's probably for the best that he's keeping his eyes on you.

SOME TICCIJACK REQUESTED BY MY BESTO FRIENDO @ccybersharkk RAAH ILY /p

This is a popular hc I think but Jack is so much taller than Toby. He’s like 6”4 and Toby is 5”5. And Jack uses this to his advantage, any chance he gets he will pick Toby up and practically squeeze the life out of him with a bear hug.

Building on that, Jack is basically a living furnace. Toby and him will cuddle up together on cold winter nights and sleep perfectly warm & comfortably the whole night.

They don’t use any pet names/nicknames on each other very much, but Jack will occasionally call Toby “love” from time to time. It flusters Toby every time.

Their favorite restaurants to go on dates are usually pizza places. Not the most romantic place yeah but the two of them LOVE pizza, specifically the bacon or veggie ones. It’s just relaxing to them to wind down at their favorite small pizzeria while chatting after a hard day of work.

Proxies’ Reaction to Stimming

Been doing some stimming today and was wondering how the boys would react to stimming.

Masky and Tim:

When Tim is fronting, he is sometimes a little too tired, stressed, or out of it to usually notice you stimming.

Only when you make obvious movements and sounds does he seem to notice.

He gets the stupidest grin on his face when he sees you stimming happily.

Knowing that you’re so happy and excited that you need to let that energy out is quite refreshing to him.

If you’re stimming from negative emotions, he will keep an eye on you just incase you have harmful stims.

If you have scratching and hitting yourself as a stim, he will try and take your hands in his to keep you from doing some damage.

If you allow it, Tim might even restrain you in a hug to keep you from doing harmful stimming.

Masky on the other hand, is an asshole either way.

If you rock to much or make a sound to many times, this dude will snap at you.

If you are waving your hands around, clapping, snapping or anything with your hands, he can and will grab your wrists in an almost bruising grip to make you stop.

Masky isn’t the best with handling stimming.

Masky isn’t too aware that stimming is a coping mechanism like how Tim smokes.

Hoodie/Brian:

I have a feeling he would have tiny, barely noticeable stims, like flicking his fingers and bouncing his legs.

Very observant so even the tiniest of stimming will catch his attention.

He is absolutely chill with stims just so long your don’t hurt yourself too bad.

Dude has some fidget toys stashed away for when he’s bored so if you need to regulate your emotions, just ask.

Brian will give a teasing yet happy comment if he sees you stimming happily.

“What’s got you so happy?” “An overload of serotonin, huh?” “Woah Woah Woah, you’re practically vibrating.”

Sometimes he might mimic your stims for gags if the situation is right

Mr. Jokester will smarten up when you begin stimming with negative emotions.

Scared? “Hey, I gotcha.” Proceeds to hold you whilst rocking with you.

Angry? He’ll hand you a pair of nail clippers so you don’t pierce your skin with your nails whilst clenching your fists repeatedly.

Ticci Toby

He might avoid you if you have certain verbal stims, he doesn’t want to have new verbal tics to worry about.

Definitely a physical stimmer though.

Will rock back and forth with you if needed.

Will start waving his hands around with you when he sees how excited you are whilst stimming.

There are times that he will find your stimming annoying, doesn’t matter how similar your stimming is to his.

Might actually get pissed if you cause him to develop another tic from your stimming.

• Thank god the Mansion is so deep in the woods because they would have been reported for SEVERAL noise complaints.

• So Tim (or Jane) usually has to barge in and yell at them to keep it down, not that he sleeps much anyways but theyre annoying and Nina is a light sleeper.

• Ben, Clockwork and Tim are all insomniacs so they usually all play board games or go for long drives together, Ben has successfully gotten them into dnd.

• Ben is pretty bad at taking care of himself because he just kinda....forgets due to his ADHD so everyone in the mansion gives him their little reminders or help out.

• Whether its Nina brushing his hair, Jane bringing him dinner when he forgot to eat or Toby essentially throwing him in the shower (never the bathtub his phobia of deep water is too strong and everyone in the mansion is mindful of it)

• Nina, Jeff and Ben all have movie nights every Tuesday. Occasionally the other members of the mansion will join them if the're free but they all have different hunting schedules set by The Operator.

•Nina screams at every jumpscare in a horror movie, her screams are so loud that EJ can hear it from the basement.

• The Operator himself doesn't live in the Mansion although it is his. Hes rarely seen or heard from, only leaving notes around the house. The only one really fond of him is Nina.

• The Operator usually leaves breakfast on the table in the morning for all of them, Clockwork has a small feeling that he doesn't like Jeff because his eggs are never done the way he likes.

• Speaking of Clockwork, the only people she really relaxes around are Toby and EJ, otherwise shes the resident strong, scary, silent type. Ben was low-key scared of her at first but theyre cool now.

• She has major anger issues so his fears are validated, she mostly does a good job of hiding it and generally is very friendly although her bluntness comes of as being mean sometimes.

• EJ and Clockwork usually give each other book and audio drama podcast reccomendations. They're so comfortable around each other that everyone though they were dating at first (They're not).

• EJ was studying to be a surgeon before he got into this mess, his skills carried over and he acts like the in house doctor for the mansion, frequently gets annoying at Tim's smoking.

• EJ honestly spends more time in his lab in the basement than his actual room, he doesn't let many people down there for "sanitation" reasons but everyone else knows its just to keep the teenagers from being more traumatized than they already are.

• Nobody goes into the attic as The Clown (Laughing Jack) lives there, they're all a little afraid of him but he only leaves and enters the room through the attic so hes never seen in the rest of the house.

• Jane had to go into the attic to speak to The Clown once on instruction of The Operator and acted out of character for the rest of the week, keeping all the cupboards and wardrobes in her vicinity open at all times.

• Jane and Tim are often regarded as "The Parents" of the Mansion as they're the oldest, both being in their mid to late 30s, everyone MOSTLY respects them enough to listen.

• Nina treats Clockwork and Jane like big sisters and often finds every excuse to tag along and spend time with them, usually ends up rambling about random fanfiction or a new show she's watching while they listen.

• Clockwork and Toby are like Ben and Jeff just older. Two peas in a pod, they go everywhere together and Clockwork becomes a little more unhinged around him. They've been hiding a stolen stoplight in Toby's room for 3 months and nobody has noticed yet.

• Toby and Jeff either get along a little too well or are fist fighting there is no in between. They're both loose canons. Nobody can tell if they're friends or hate each other.

• Toby and Nina both get along well as they're able to understand and read each other better than the other mansion members due to their shared experience having bpd.

• Toby often accompanies Nina on missions and looks out for her, similar to an older brother, and Nina goes on frequent trips with him to help bring firewood for the Mansion.

• They have their moments but overall everyone gets along pretty well.

Toby grew up completely socially isolated so he never learned much about social norms, morality, and he always found himself frustrated at all the rules and expectations he had to follow.

He spent his entire childhood learning that if he doesn't fight back and do whatever it takes to survive, then he'll just be another victim to the ones in power. He watched his mother and sister fall victim to his father. He watched how his teachers let all of the merciless bullying slide during his short time in middle school. Everybody in his life was complacent, everybody except him.

It's engrained into him that he needs to cross lines in order to survive. He needed to be the troublemaker, the one that was shocking and irritating enough to turn his fathers fists towards him instead of his family. Toby is constantly fighting to do whatever it takes, no matter the cost, to never feel like a scared little boy looking up at his father ever again

He pushes boundaries to prove that he has the power to do so. He gets his revenge to prove he's alive. Everything Toby does is a response to the kid in his head that spent all of his life learning how to be nothing but a problem, something hard to swallow, something that wasn't complacent. Something that learned table manners at lunch and how to fight bloody in the evening

I'm trying to be as realistic & canon as possible with those headcanons, there's a lot to say about Toby anyway! :]

Headcanons:

Toby does not remember his past canonically, due to his amnesia. So, he is not a grumpy or constantly depressed person. He can be very talktive around people he likes due to his ADHD and mania episodes which both cause hyperactivity. (Bipolar contains mania)

Toby doesn't really care about people that aren't his fond ones. At all. He will only care about someone or at least show a tiny bit of interest if the person looks beautiful or seems interesting in any way. I think that because he once wanted to keep a woman alive who, in his words, looked beautiful. Of course he changed his mind after she pissed him off, but yes, he wanted to see if she deserved to live and gave her a chance.

He loves playing Mario Cart with BEN, as he finds a strange comfort in it. That is because he used to play Video games in his childhood with either his sister or the neighbor kid.

If he smokes, he starts violently coughing like an seizing camel.

He loves wearing sweatpants and turtlenecks when he's in the mansion. He doesn't usually change his clothes when he's going to bed and just sleeps in what he is wearing. For missions, he simply throws a hoodie over the turtleneck and puts on some jeans with a belt for his hatchets. Nothing super special. -- ((My AU has the Creepypasta mansion thing, yes. I at least have my own logical explanation for why and hhh so yeah,))

Toby forgets his things basically everywhere, no matter if it are his goggles, his mouthguard, his hatchets, etc... Mainly due to his amnesia, but also because of his schizophrenia. Schizophrenia causes disorganized speech and thoughts at times, so he might jump from topic to topic.

He doesn't really listen when people talk to him or at leasts struggles with it. It's hard to talk about something he cares about. If he doesn't care, he will simply not listen. IF he cares and tries to listen, he will get distracted super easily. After he asked a question, his attention might be gone already once you start speaking.

Toby is not rude but sassy. He's not praticularly mean to people but will get sassy when given the chance since he's a jerk.

His favorite animals are raccoons, owls, cheetahs and moths.

He has a weird obsession with fire. He loves committing arson.

Toby has a lot of damage in his room because he throws his hatchets at the figures he sees due to his schizophrenia.

Toby constantly wears his gloves or bandages to cover up the wounds on his hands. He only lets specific people like EJ check on his hands or Nurse Ann, so they can just roughly patch him up. Otherwhise, he keeps them hidden to not seem vulnerable.

This man has an EXTREME fear of abandonment. Once he gets close to someone, he will be clingy af, orrr suddenly cold af.

Toby doesn't get along with most people, usually sticking around Cody(X-Virus), Eyeless Jack and Kate. Those are his best friends.

His favorite artists are: Mother Mother, Get Scared, Insane Clown Posse, My Chemical Romance, Nirvana, Three Days Grace, Radiohead, Salvia Palth, Linkin Park, Panic! At The Disco, Alex G, Crystal Castles, Mitski, The Neighbourhood, Coldplay, Mindless Self Indulgence, Melanie Martinez, Pastle Ghost and Billie Eilish.

When he finds dead animals like raccoons, he will pick them up and pet them, all fascinated. He might even hug and squeeze it to somehow get comfort from it. The comfort he didn't recieve and needs.

Toby can go from super confident to super insecure very fast.

Toby loves touching things to feel real. If he's feeling surreal, he will start touching things or taste things to feel real.

He struggles with sleeping, but once he actually is asleep, he usually has disturbing nightmares. As soon as Toby wakes up, he either remembers them and has a panic attack OR he will feel uncomfortable for a reason he can't recall and will avoid sleeping as much as possible.

He's emotionally detached, but tbh, he's a real INFP (Personality type).

Habits:

Honestly, he sometimes tries watching porn to feel something. Due to his mania episodes, he tends to be hypersexual. (Again, he's bipolar which causes mania, and mania can cause hypersexuality.)

Tobias keeps chewing the flesh around his fingers, biting the skin on hips lips and pulling on his hair.

When he's nervous, he will fidget with his hands or clothes a LOT, or keep something like a leaf in his hand so he can just play with it instead of harming himself.

If he's pissed, he starts grinding his teeth to focus on the noise and the feeling instead of the anger he's feeling.

Toby sometimes drinks alcohol to just go completely numb, even emotionally. He uses it to escape the pain he's feeling mentally, as soon as he gets his flashbacks.

Routine: His routine might be a little difficult to explain? But I'll try for sure! I hope I'm not getting the commission wrong, if I do, let me know and I will redo this!

When Toby wakes up, the first thing he does is check where he is. He usually skips breakfast or forgets it, but IF he doesn't forget it, he will just devour a toast or something simple like that. When he doesn't have a mission to do, he will just do the most random stuff like go for a walk, play video games, listen to music, etc. Toby doesn't have a specific routine, he just does what he feels like doing. One thing is sure tho: Toby listens to music every day. No matter how many songs, no matter what song. He must listen to at least one song to feel comfortable and connected to reality. Music gives him comfort and he enjoys listening to it, so he listens to music every day. Sometimes he even plays e-guitar! :] He won't do anything special other than killing, listening to music or talking to himself the whole day. As soon as the stars become visible, Toby goes outside to observe them, spending his time by thinking and having conversations with himself. He doesn't usually sleep anyway, so he spends a lot of time caught in his thoughts. Toby usually drinks a lot of energy drinks to not collapse, even tho his hyperactivity usually keeps him awake.

When this insomnaic finally decides to sleep, he places his hatchets somewhere where he can find them again. After making sure his weapons are on their place, he will just straight up jump into bed to pass out. Changing clothes, brushing his teeth or anything related to that isn't a thing Toby likes. I feel like sometimes Toby would plan on meeting people like Kate or Cody behind the mansion to drink a little and smoke, but bro would just straight up forget about it and go to bed like nothing is bothering his life, completely forgetting about the things he planned. Maybe he at least gets a peaceful sleep... or something.

Sorry if it's not THAT much, after finishing the habits and headcanons my brain just stopped working and had no clue what to continue with when it comes to routines. Probably gonna edit this when I'm sober and able to think straight again, but this is what I got so far!
