The New Tumblrite’s Guide To The Modern Hellsite

(Or: So You’re New In Town, Here’s What You Need To Know)

This post aims to be a guide for the new user to help them understand the tumblr culture. Don’t worry, new user—we’ll have you blogging like a native in no time!

I’m putting the rest of this post under what’s known as a “readmore” (because you have to click to read more, and it says so), which had a few benefits and drawbacks. It prevents the post from being extremely long on people’s dashboards, and any edits will be consistent across all versions because it will link to the post on my own blog, but because it’s on my blog, it will break if I ever change my url (barring an update that changes or has changed this—it can be hard to keep up with the actual mechanics of the site sometimes)

1: First Steps

So you’ve just created a tumblr! Welcome! I’m sure you want to follow some people, but let’s take a moment to get things in order first. You wouldn’t want to be mistaken for a bot and get blocked, right?

The very first thing you’ll want to do is customize your blog. Start with an avatar—lots of people use picrew, or screenshots/edits of their favorite characters. DON’T use a photo of yourself! This is what we call “Bot Behavior”—bots often use pictures of random people, so any real person icon not immediately recognizable as a celebrity is a red flag; if you want to put yourself in your icon, the picrew route or other artwork communicates that a real person put some effort into creating the blog.

You’ll also probably want to give your blog a title, a header image, and a bio. Don’t give out identifying information in your bio! A first name for people to refer to you is fine, but lots of people use fake names or go by their URL (or a shortening of it). You don’t need to give your age, and you definitely shouldn’t be giving your exact location. One of the main draws of tumblr is anonymity, and you always have the opportunity to give specific people more information, but you never have the opportunity to take information away from people.

Next, feel free to go through the settings to do things like turning off things like “best stuff first” so that your dashboard is always in chronological order, turn on sensitive content, and disable showing your likes and what blogs you follow, if you don’t want people to be able to see that. Most people don’t display those, and it can be seen as Bot Behavior if you do, but not to the extent that an un-customized blog is.

Speaking of, make sure your URL isn’t just four words smashed together—that seems to be the current trend for bots, so you’re likely to get autoblocked.

Finally, start following AND REBLOGGING. Reblogging will be covered more in depth in the next section, but it really is the MOST important part of using tumblr! If you enjoy a post, reblog it! Likes serve a different purpose, and blogs without any posts or reblogs are HUGE red flags for Bot Behavior, especially if they follow more than a few blogs.

2: Reblogs

Reblogging! The most important feature of tumblr! You would think it would be posting but actually? Not so much. Reblogging will be the main thing you do on tumblr, and you’ll probably be doing a lot of it.

Okay, so here’s the deal: tumblr does not (and hopefully never will) have an omnipresent algorithm that governs what you do and do not see. Instead you see 1) the things that the people you follow post and reblog, in chronological order, and 2) recommended posts, unless you turn then off. Recommended posts come from either tags you follow (more on that later) or occasionally tumblr will try a “based on your likes” system that doesn’t work and everybody turns off. Oh, and there’s featured posts but that’s a thing tumblr the corporation is specifically posting/boosting for everyone to see, it’s not algorithmically generated for you specifically based on your usage of the site.

THIS MEANS!! If you are not reblogging, you are not contributing to the tumblr ecosystem!! People who follow you will ONLY get something from that IF you are reblogging and/or posting original content!!

If you like something, reblog it! That’s the only way you have of sharing it with other people and getting more eyes on it. Likes do not work for this. Likes are something else entirely.

When you reblog a post, here is what happens:

1) the original poster sees in their activity that it was reblogged by you, and anything you said on the post itself or in the tags

2) the person you reblogged it from sees in their activity that it was reblogged by you, and anything you said on the post itself or in the tags

3) it shows up on your blog and on your followers’ dashboards, with anything you added to the post itself or in the tags

4) anybody who looks at the notes of the post can see that you reblogged it, your addition to the post if any, and your tags if any, but it’s really hard to find someone specific in here on big posts and these things aren’t always in the same place as each other

5) the number of notes on the post increments by one

When you reblog a post (or when it is reblogged from you), comments on the post itself stay attached to the post, but tags do not. We’ll get more into when and when not to Reblog With Comment in section 4, but for now it’s enough to know how reblogs work.

Oh, and of you see someone tag a post with something like “dnr” or “do not reblog” then you SHOULD NOT reblog it! Sometimes people post things that they don’t want to go beyond their immediate followers, like vent posts or unfinished art they don’t want overshadowing the finished piece.

Finally, don’t worry about the age of a post when you reblog it, or if you’ve reblogged it before. Tumblr has lots of “classic posts” or “always reblog” posts from years and years ago that are still circulating, and that’s fine! The culture here encourages reblogging older posts, and there’s no limit on the number of times you can reblog a post. Many of the more recent popular memes have originated from posts that were made years ago, and only got popular after they’d been around for a while!

2a: Reposting vs Reblogging

Reblogging is very very good, but reposting is very very bad. What’s the difference?

When you reblog a post, you are using tumblr’s built in functionality to give somebody else’s post more visibility.

Reposting, by contrast, is when you take somebody else’s post and create a new post on your own blog using that content. Saving an artist’s work and creating a new post so that it originated on your blog is reposting, as is taking a screenshot of a text post and making a new post using that.

If you repost an artist’s work, for example, people can’t find that artist very easily, and the artist doesn’t see the user engagement from their post. If you reblog their posts instead, you help that artist build a following, and you still get to have cool art on your blog. Win-win.

Reposting also includes posting things from one website onto another—stealing from an artist’s twitter for your tumblr, or from their tumblr for your twitted.

Most of my reposting examples are about artists because that’s the field that is most commonly reposted, especially without credit.

It’s bad, it sucks, nobody likes reposters. Just use the reblog button instead.

You’ll see some posts where tweets or reddit posts are reposted, but even those should include usernames and links to the page they were taken from, and do not represent the work as their own. It’s still iffy, though—you’re getting notes off of somebody else’s funny thought or idea or story.

Generally, pointing and laughing at a twitter user’s incredibly bad take is accepted, in which case usernames are usually blocked out to prevent harassment.

3: Likes

Likes mean almost nothing here. People use them in a couple of different ways, but they’re far, FAR less significant than reblogs. Liking a post can mean that you enjoyed it, or that you wanted to look at it later (by going through your Liked Posts), or that you wanted to remind yourself that you’ve already seen it when it inevitably pops up on your dash again in two months. It can be a way of silently sending emotional support on somebody’s vent post, or indicating that you’re interested in hearing more when somebody says “3 likes and I’ll post about this thing”. What Likes AREN’T is a way to show a post to anybody else.

When you Like a post, here is what happens:

1) the original poster can see in their activity that you liked the post

2) if you clicked Like on somebody else’s reblog of that post, they can also see it

3) the number of notes on the post increments by one

Unlike reblogs, Liking is a binary state: either a post is Liked by you, or it isn’t, meaning that a Like can only ever add one note to a post. In contrast, every time you reblog a post it adds another note to that post, AND it puts it in front of other people who can then like and reblog it.

Finally, reblogged posts can be searched for on your blog using the search function (questionably useful) or by going through an organizational tag (very useful), while Liked posts are not (to my knowledge) something you can search through—you’d have to scroll manually with no filtering system.

As you can see, reblogs are superior to likes in almost every situation, unless the post is something the person would not want reblogged.

4: Asks, Replies, and Reblogging with Comment

Now, there are several ways to interact with other tumblr user, and they’re each good for different things.

The first is Asks. Tumblr users can control whether or not people are allowed to send them asks, and whether or not people are allowed to do so anonymously. Do not be an asshole. Do not be the reason someone has to turn off anon or close their askbox.

Asks are the most acceptable and widely used form of direct communication on tumblr, for several reasons. First, if somebody’s askbox is open, it is implied that they are willing to receive an ask. Second, asks can be answered publicly or privately, if you have not sent anonymously, giving the recipient maximum control over how they respond, if they choose to do so. Third, asks don’t create a conversation the way a direct message does, so if you say something and they never respond, it isn’t hanging there in the message thread like a neon sign proclaiming your shame the next time you go to message them. Unless they never deleted it out of their askbox. Usually that’s their shame, though—a lot of people simply forget to answer asks until it’s been long enough that they feel awkward about it.

When you send an ask, the recipient will receive a notification to check their inbox, at which point they will see your url, message, and the option to respond. If they respond, and you did not message them anonymously, YOU will receive a notification on your activity page that they did so, although the notification won’t link directly to their response if they answered publically, only to their blog.

Only “main” blogs (the first one you create, as opposed to “side” blogs on the same account) can send asks, but any blog can receive and respond to asks, publicly or privately.

Next are Replies. THIS ONE IS IMPORTANT. YOU WILL ALMOST NEVER USE REPLIES. IF YOU ARE USING REPLIES ALL THE TIME, STOP USING REPLIES. There IS a time for replies but they are a sometimes tool.

When you reply to a post, here is what happens:

1) the original poster receives a notification in their activity that you replied, and a partial view of what the reply is, but must go to the post and search through the notes to find the whole thing, which can be difficult to find on a large post

2) if you are replying to a reblog of the post, the reblogger also receives the notification and also has to go to the post and hunt for the reply, same as above

3) if either of them have email notifications on for replies, you are blowing their emails up constantly. Each reply sends a separate, unthreaded email notification, if they have those enabled. Although at the very least the email contains the full reply

4) the only other people who see replies are people specifically looking in the notes of the post—your followers do not see them and they do not show up on the dashboard or attach to a specific reblog chain.

5) if you are reblogging to an addition to the post, nobody will be able to tell because, again, replies do not attach to a specific reblog chain. They’re just loose in the notes. Sometimes people will @ mention each other in the notes to have a conversation but this is very inefficient and, again, absolutely blows up the notifications of the original poster and also the person who reblogged the version you are replying to.

Replies do have a function, but it’s very limited in scope:

1) when you want to send something directly to the original poster, usually because they’ve asked a question that you are responding to or you are attempting to start a conversation about the specific subject of the post. DO THIS ON THE ORIGINAL POST, and don’t bother on massive posts with lots of notes

2) if you are replying to the person who reblogged the post but sending them an ask or DM isn’t a viable option for some reason

Also, keep in mind that for someone who is not the OP or reblogger, you need to @ mention them—if someone replies to your post starting a conversation, you should reply to them by going to your own post, start with “@[their url]” and select them so that they receive a notification, and then type your message. This ensures that only the people who need to be notified get notified.

Oh, and if you see a post that says “tag yourself”, DON’T reply to it! It says tag for a reason—that goes in the tags of your reblog! It’s a way to talk about yourself to your followers, not something for you to send directly to the original poster or the person who put it on your dashboard.

99% of the time, though, you’ll either be talking in the tags or reblogging with comment.

Speaking of which, Reblogging with Comment! This is like regular reblogging, but you’re also adding your own words to the post. Most of the time, you’ll add anything you have to say to the tags, where it will need to pass peer review, but if you feel passionately about something or feel like you have something to add, you can.

Before you do, though, you should know that 1) people can and will go to the person you reblogged from and reblog it from them instead if they don’t like your addition (this is a feature and not a bug), 2) both the original poster and the person you reblogged from will see your addition, and 3) this is best done sparingly. Use your best judgement as to whether you really want to bypass the peer review process and add something, and don’t forget that tumblr is a pvp enabled zone.

If you reblog with comment, you will not get notifications on that post unless it is reblogged or liked from you. This means that you will have no idea when or if your addition goes viral until you see it on your dashboard. It also means you don’t have to deal with any of the notifications unless somebody @ mentions you. This is, honestly, the ideal way to go viral if you’re going to do it, because the notifications on a viral post are a fucking nightmare and everybody hates it. That said, don’t try to go viral. There’s literally no benefit to going viral on this site, tumblr clout isn’t real, there are no sponsorships and you cannot try to sell anything without being torn apart like a cartoon cow by a school of cartoon piranhas. It will take seconds and there won’t even be bones left. Some people make it work but it’s almost always something that happens to them instead of being on purpose.

Also, at least some and probably many of the back-and-forth posts you see are staged by people who know each other, and you’ll generally have better luck if you’re adding on to the posts of people you at least kind of know, either as mutuals or through sending asks and reblogging with tags.

5: Tags

Tags!!! Tags are great. Tags are your best fucking friend on this hellsite and they serve a couple of purposes:

First and foremost, we use them not as intended but as a way of adding to a post in a quiet, less intrusive way. If reblogging with comment is shouting from the rooftops, tagging is chatting with your friends. Tags used to be only visible when directly viewing your reblog of a post, but then tumblr updated so that the original poster and the person you reblogged from can see them in their activity page, and people can look at them on the notes. Nevertheless, they remain the most polite and unobtrusive way to comment on something. You can also put a frankly ridiculous number of tags on a post, which is great.

Second, tags can AND SHOULD be used for organizational and filtering purposes. Many people tag for things like fandoms, characters, common trigger/content warnings, and safety concerns.

When you use tags for organizational and filtering purposes, is important that you spell them correctly and use a consistent tag; if you spell a tag incorrectly, it will be useless for searching and tumblr’s filtering won’t catch it. If you use inconsistent versions of it, you won’t be able to find things easily, and people will have a harder time knowing what to filter.

For example! If you want to have a way to find all your posts about (for example) power rangers, you would go to the tags portion of the reblog window and type something like “power rangers,” (the comma is what closes the tag, so it would then look like “#power rangers”). Then, to find all the posts with that tag, you would go to “[your url].tumblr.com/tagged/power rangers” (yes, with the space—tumblr used to use dashes instead of spaces but it can now recognize spaces in tags and your URL bar should autofill the correct symbol. Unless it tries to google search, in which case you need to put the actual symbol, which is something like %20 I think? So it would be “/tagged/power%20rangers”. But that’s way more difficult and easy to fuck up than just putting a space).

Tag filtering allows tumblr to see a tag and automatically hide the post from you, with an option to open it anyway. If you absolutely HATED power rangers, you could filter the tag “#power rangers” and any post tagged with that would show up saying it was hidden because it contained the tag #power rangers, and that you can click to open it if you want. A lot of people use this to avoid spoilers for things.

If you tag something as “#power ranger” instead, it WILL NOT show up when you go to your power rangers tag, because you forgot the S, and it WILL NOT be filtered for anyone who blocked #power rangers, for the same reason!

Because of this IT IS VITAL THAT YOU DO NOT CENSOR CONTENT OR TRIGGER WARNING TAGS. If someone is trying to avoid triggering content, and you use a bunch of random asterisks and slashes to censor it, their filter will not pick it up. You will be doing the OPPOSITE of keeping your followers safe and providing a comfortable space.

Censoring tags is usually done with the purpose of “keeping hate out of the tags”—ie, if I am saying something negative about power rangers, I might write it as “p*wer r*ngers” instead to prevent tumblr’s search function from serving my post to people looking for power rangers content. When doing this, censor in both the content of the post and the tags, and it’s still good to be consistent in your method of censorship.

Tumblr does have a search function—you can search for tags, and will find posts that are tagged with the tag you’ve searched for. You can also “follow” a tag, which will make tumblr periodically put posts from that tag on your dashboard as recommended posts. DO NOT TRY TO GAME THE SYSTEM BY USING A BUNCH OF UNRELATED TAGS. That’s a fast track to being blocked not just for Bot Behavior but also because it’s annoying. There’s no real algorithm to game, here—just keep blogging and people will either decide they like your content and follow you or they don’t and they won’t.

Speaking of Bot Behavior and how to avoid it, talking in the tags is the absolute best way to let people know you’re a human. Bots can use tags, but they use them like bots, not like humans—talk away in the tags and it’ll be clear you’re a real person.

Finally, I mentioned “peer review” earlier. “Peer review” is a term we use for a phenomenon similar to “stealing tags”, which is actually a GOOD thing. If your follower or the original poster reads and enjoys your tags, they may choose to copy and paste them into a reblog with comment (or use a screenshot, although that isn’t as screen-reader friendly). When doing this, it is common courtesy to append “(via @[the tagger’s url])” so that people can easily tell who wrote the tags.

If you enjoy the tags but don’t want to add them as a comment (especially if you want to reply to them), you can “steal” them instead. When stealing tags, it’s important to let people know they aren’t yours! a quick “#these tags ->” before and “<-[comment goes here]” after are my go to (you can make the arrows by using a < or > combined with a -). This gives credit to the person who made the tags, rather than looking like you’re trying to pass off their jokes/ideas as your own.

Speaking of peer review and stealing tags, that brings me to our next section:

6: The Prev Tags Schism

Okay, here’s the deal. Some people, when reblogging, will simply tag “prev tags” as a clue for their followers to go to the previous reblog and look at that poster’s tags. I can understand the draw—it’s low effort, it’s unobtrusive, and it gives credit to the tagger.

On the other hand, tags can be edited or deleted, which means the thing you’re endorsing may be changed or even outright gone when your followers go to check what you’re talking about. It also tends to create “chains” where someone will have to go through many, many posts to find the tags being talked about, and often the chain will be broken by a deleted post, rendering the referenced tags either gone or unreachable. In addition, you have to scroll to the top of a post to go to the previous reblog, which is annoying on longer posts.

I’m not going to take a moral stance on the issue, but I will say that it’s a recent shift in behavior and that it is not tumblr native behavior—and you’re here to blog like a tumblr native, right?

I get the appeal. I’ve almost done it myself a couple of times. But I don’t, because if I have to sit through one more 10 minute session of going through a bunch of posts that just say “prev tags so true” until I reach a version tagged only with “hannibal” or some bullshit I’m going to lose my fucking mind. The post wasn’t even that good. It was not so true, besties.

Anyway you can use prev tags if you want, it’s your blog, I just wanted to get that off my chest.

But also it’s literally SO easy to just tap on the tag to copy it if you’re on mobile or copy/paste if you’re on desktop, it’s really, really, really not hard. I promise.

7: Blockable Offenses

Okay listen. People are probably going to block you. Don’t take it personally. However, this is a non-comprehensive list of things you can avoid to minimize being blocked, and things you might block people over. Some, but not all, of the things on this list also fall under Bot Behavior.

Blog suspiciously empty and un-customized

Only reblogs porn gifs

Says some absolute rude dumbass shit on your post, especially if it’s clear they have no reading comprehension

Annoying

Likes a media/character/ship you don’t like

Clearly an attempt at boosting a company’s search engine optimization

Clearly a multilevel marketing scheme

Clearly a cryptocurrency scam

Your mutual doesn’t like them for some reason

Constantly involved in drama and you don’t want to get dragged into it if they reblog your post

They like your favorite media/character/ship, but they’re doing it wrong and you hate seeing their shit ass takes

They reblog unmarked spoilers for something you’re trying not to see spoilers about

They don’t tag for triggers/content warnings and you need to not interact with them

They sent you a rude ask, with their url attached

They sent you a rude ask, anonymously (yes, you can block anonymous askers, but be careful because you can’t UNblock them)

You thought it would be funny

Their vibes are simply rancid

Their vibes are not rancid but you just have kind of a weird feeling about them like you don’t have proof but ehhhhh idk better safe than sorry

You have IRL beef, petty or otherwise

You know them IRL and you don’t have beef but you still want to keep your blog private from them

They stole your tags without crediting you or noting that they were copied

Literally any reason

So there you go! Some reasons you might block or get blocked by someone!

It’s also SUPER important to block bots—they feed off of your real-human-behavior legitimacy to appear more human and less like a bot to moderation systems, and if they get caught then YOUR blog could get flagged as a bot by association! When you block someone, it cuts their ability to interact with your blog, and means you don’t have to see anything they say either.

If, for some reason, you want to unblock someone, you can always go to your blocked tumblrs list in your settings and unblock them there.

8: Best Practices

This is a place for tips, tricks, and hashtag pro strats. Little things that will make you look and feel like a tumblr native in no time. Some of them will be repeats from earlier sections, put here in condensed form for easy reference.

Reblog things if you enjoy them

Customize your blog, and don’t use a default avatar or a photo of yourself

Talk in the tags, that’s what they’re there for

“Tag yourself” means IN THE TAGS OF A REBLOG, and NOT in a reply! It’s about sharing lore with your followers, not starting a conversation with the OP or the last person to reblog

People genuinely love it when you go through their blog and like and reblog a bunch of stuff all at once—it means you enjoy their blog!

Reblog, don’t repost.

Replies are a sometimes tool, don’t overuse them

Curate your space. Don’t follow people if you don’t like their blog. Block people who annoy you.

Nobody knows if you’ve seen a post or not; you can always scroll by without interacting with it

If you use the queue function, also use a special tag that you apply to queued posts (with the word queue somewhere in it) so that people know they’re queued

The apostrophe key on mobile and desktop read as different characters when you’re creating/searching a tag, it’s really annoying

If you use quotation marks in a tag, it puts whatever was in quotes at the very beginning of all of your tags, which is very confusing—use apostrophes instead (ie: say ‘thing’ instead of “thing”)

Find people whose takes you enjoy and then stay out of the search function, it’ll save you from a lot of aggravation

Don’t get involved in fandom drama, just stay in your lane

DO NOT POST PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION. Seriously, you do not want to get doxxed. It’s easier to track people down than you think.

If you copy somebody else’s tags, note that you’ve done so! Also, don’t use an extension that automatically copies people’s tags when you reblog from them. It’s a blockable offense.

Izzy's Dag-Dag The Artist... Tag

Okay I know this isn't the first get to know the artist tag or anything of the sort but I wanted to be weird and get to know my friends weirdly in-depth so here we go. (copy & paste version will be linked right here)

~ Rules ~

Show us a rendition of yourself in your own art! Can be anything! Sims render? Random stick figure? Picrew? Go nuts! (Just be sure to tag the artist if you use someone else's picrew!!!!) Tag the blogs you want to know, and don't be a dick that's it! Also, feel free to answer as vague or in-depth as you want. And if you don't want to answer a question for any reason just don't vibe with it! Skip it if you wanna!

1.) Do you prefer to be referred to by your name or blog name?

I really don't care lol, I know "morgyn ember is a gender fluid daddy" is a mouthful so I mostly just go by Izzy lol

2.) Where are you from?

Original, technically speaking, New Mexico, but I live in the PSW now, and I've lived in pretty much every other state in between (I know diversity loss, I'm American 😐 but technically a win because I'm mixed racial??)

3.) Do you have pets? 👀

I do!!! Two dogs! They are my life!

4.) Tell us about your "dream".

I have a lot of dreams honestly, but the two I'm working the hardest towards are my dream of being a published author and my dream of being a musician. I don't necessarily want to be a world renowned author, or selling out arenas. I just want to be able to make a tiny difference in the world with my art, and I guess that's the dream.

5.) Aside from art, what are your hobbies?

This kind of counts as art as well, but I'm a make up artist and body painter! I'm very out of practice just because I have no time, but it's one of my favorite things to do! (I also play guitar, bass, and sing, but that's kind of more than a hobby)

6. )Does anyone irl know about your blog?

Good God no 😅 I just let my brain puke all over my blog so for as long as I can I will keep it from everyone lol. I mean my mom knows it exists, but won't seek it out.

7.)Do you know anyone from your blog irl?

Sadly no :( I mean yea? Like we're friends but we haven't met in person? I don't know if that counts and I literally wrote this omg

8.) What are some fun facts about you?

I'm ambidextrous! I also have synesthesia, which for me means I experience color with sound! I'm crossing this one out because I don't want to seem brag-gy but I also graduated high school at fifteen. Class of twenty-gay-teen where you at!!!!!!

9.) What's your day job?

Well, recently I've started working as writer for @simmedup magazine, check us out if you haven't already! But my "day job" is mostly writing, I'm also a caretaker!

10.) Do you have a celebrity look alike?

Evidently Gerard Way? Like it's become such an on running joke in my family and friend group, and I seriously get stopped all the time. I'm mostly an editor and digital artist! But like I said I'm also a body painter and make up artist!

I got into editing because I can not draw people to save my fucking life, seriously if there was a gun to my head and the only thing saving me was to be able to draw a portraits, I would be fucked. Basically I wanted to be able to have cute little photos of my characters and I really loved how they were coming out as sims so!! Yeah!!

Okay, I go through phases! So, I used to strictly watch Mythbusters while editing, and then I moved over to YouTube and got really into this one YouTuber FakeGamerGirl so I've been watching her videos while editing lol, but I'm sure it will change again.

I would like to say comic book gothic, but it changes so often and I like to play around so it fluctuates wildly!

Yep, a bitter little four-legged furry companion. I love him and my friend does not, it is an unrequited love. He loves to show me his beautiful teeth and fangs every time I'm around him (Please don't get me wrong, I don't mistreat him or anything like that, he's just like that, I won't tell the story)

4.) Tell us about your "dream"

Although traveling is very tiring (yes, I know) I would love to know many places (I already have a mental list lol), to know new cultures! since when you die the only thing you take with you (of course) is what you have lived, what you have experienced, enjoyed, learned in life.

I do not know if it is considered a dream, it is simply something I want to do, but if I do not achieve it, I will simply not feel frustrated

5.) Aside from art, what are your hobbies?

I love playing music, now I am trying to learn to play new instruments, draw, also a few years ago I loved to practice martial arts, they are tough but great! for X reasons I had to leave them, but I hope to get back to them, one day.

Funny... I forget the names of the people and I was embarrassed later yeah I'm a little clueless 😬

I have caught inspiration from other people and their style, things that I see on the internet that catch my attention and I suppose that all that becomes ... something?. I would not know how to define it.

Normally (if I am very focused) I listen to quiet instrumental solo music as a LoFi for example. But I like almost all genres of music.

Well I would say that I have no favorites at the moment

I totally did this out of order, so let’s try this again!

(My first introduction was a hot mess, so I wanted re edit that one and put up this one instead!)

This will basically be me talking about her rather than all the fandoms she’s in. I’m gonna be making post about her and the fandoms later, but for now it’s all about her!

Since I can’t draw I have to use picrew, but sadly some of the makers that I find have limited options so allow me to go into detail about her looks. (I’ll probably make another post about her abilities later)

Hanako has bright gold eyes and long lavender hair that goes all the way down to her mid thigh. She has two beauty marks, one under her right eye and one on the left side of her lip. Her signature hair style is space buns with the rest of her hair down in the back. Like I’ve said before, I can’t draw so I’m using characters I know as reference! This is what her body looks like.

(^ This is Flare, a character from fairy tail! I recommend watching it if you have time. Fairy tail is a very long series, but it’s really good!)

(I’m pretty sure you can look at almost all the women in Fairy tail and get the idea.)

Obviously I know that Hestia doesn’t have any demigod kids but demigods don’t have to be born the normal way. Hanako was born from fire and was given to her father. With that being said, when Hana was first claimed she was given a fire place poker but traded it in for a sword so she it could help control her pyrokinesis. (Her sword is disguised as a charm bracelet!)

As for her sword...

Hana’s sword helps her control her pyrokinesis a little better and it’s fun to try and see who can pick it up. Her sword can reach up to about 2000°F (1093°C). She has a few special moves but those are for another time.

Although Hana acts like her mom in some moments, she met Apollo and Hermes when she was quite young and those two have had a big impression on her personality. One moment she giving motherly advice, and the next moment she screaming vines across the room.

Random facts about Hanako 🌸✨

Since Hana means flower I use cherry blossoms and lavender to represent her.

Has a huge soft spot for children!

Hanako is super understanding and open. Wanna try something new? She’ll come with you, so you aren’t lonely and scared. Skydiving? What time are we leaving? Want to be left alone? Call her if you need something! Wanna try working out? She’ll be your personal trainer! Feeling down? She’s coming over with movies and snacks! Can’t make it to game night? It’s alright just be safe with whatever your doing!

Once Hanako falls, she falls hard.(Romantically speaking) She is a SIMP. She’ll wear the most giddiest smile after talking with them. Probably screamed in her pillows at least a few times. “They make my heart beat so fast, and they make me feel like the happiest girl in the world!!” - Hanako.

Attempts her best not to be obvious about her crush, and for the most part it works. Until anything other than platonic stuff comes up. Her face is gonna turn crimson if ANYONE mentions her crush in not so platonic ways, gods forbid anything even more intimate. Children of Hestia are so shy when the idea of sexual things is even bought up that they blush deeply and cannot articulate any coherent words, and any fire nearby also turns crimson as if it were blushing like the child of Hestia. This shyness is amplified if they are around their crush.

Gets kind of anxious when she’s beside a bookshelf.

She’s a smart ass. It’s gotten to the point where she does it automatically. It doesn’t even have time to process, it just comes out.

Hana is actually really good at acting and singing. She was in a few commercials and videos when she was younger but only as background characters.

Hana is amazing with kids. She grew up with 3 little brothers before she was moved into the orphanage, which meant even more kids to watch over. (she takes her big sister role very seriously)

Since she was born from fire, she can raise her body temperature up if she wanted too, and she rarely gets hot or cold. Heat based attack have no effect on her. Hana’s hugs feel like a warm blanket wrapped around you while sitting next to a fireplace, all in all just really comforting

Hana grew up around a lot of guys and so she calls everyone ‘bro’ and ‘dude’ a lot. She has a few friends who are girls but most of them are guys. That being said, she grew up rough housing and yelling.

Hana also comes from a very affectionate family. (Hugs, kisses, feeding food to each other, smashing food into someone’s face, etc.) So it’s not uncommon to see Hana tackle all of her friends into hugs and kisses.(platonically)

Hana also likes to tease a lot (curtsy of Hermes) so don’t be surprised when she tease about you burning food.

Is super flexible. I’m talking like, Mitsuri flexible. Her friends have at least saw her in the scorpion pose a few times. The more flexible she is, the easier it is to move in battle.

The woman is a tree. I’m pretty sure all of her lovers (with the exception of Gojo) are shorter than her.

She can not, for the life of her, wear heels. Anything above a 3 inch that isn’t thick, would make her snap an ankle. Besides she’s already tall enough

In terms of anger, Hana has the patience of a saint. She still gets annoyed here and there, but very rarely does she get genuinely angry. On the rare occasion that she is angry, she gets pretty violent. Veins showing from her forehead, her body temperature spikes, and she wears one of the most nastiest glare ever. (from what she’s been told) Only a select few have seen her mad.

When thrown into a new situation (or a new world-) that isn’t familiar, Hana will come off a bit sarcastic (more than usual) and aloof. She wants to get a feel for her surroundings before she can actually be herself. Give her some time to come around and she’ll be back to hyper and happy.

Hana has a bunch of hobbies. She plays volleyball and is known as the queen of the court. She loves to paint her fingernails and her toes as well. Her cooking is top tier! As a Hestia child obviously she would excel at anything that has to do with domestic and home type things.

She 100% would/will make her own dress. Once made a huge ball gown dress because none of the place had what she was looking for.

When she isn’t doing any of her hobbies she’s working out and practicing her pyrokinesis. Hana trained a lot back where she was from, so she could master her pyrokinesis and her sword. She’s gotten to the point where she can lift a car. Just because she’s in a different place doesn’t give her the excuse to slack off!!

Ironically her mother is a virginal goddess and isn’t married to anyone. Hana on the other hand, wants to get married and have kids. She shooting for 4 but it all depends on what her partner wants. (2,6,8 it just depends)

Hestia children can induce serenity and make tense situations a lot more calmer. Hanako has defeated a lot of enemies and monsters this way.

Hanako knows 4 different languages. English, Japanese, Greek, and French. She was taught Japanese by her father and Greek by her mother. She learned French and English herself

Even though Hana loves to do girly things, makeup is not one of them. She always thought it was pretty cool but she never had the time to sit down and practice it.

BACKSTORY AND TALENT

Being born in the Eurasian territory of Zaurius, Myth was born into a very high-class family that had slight connections to the Royal Family. Myth was usually tasked with entertaining the guests at banquets and other assorted events, and from there, Myth’s parents found out that she has unprecedented talent in gymnastics, with a particular speciality in rhythmic gymnastics, and is able to dazzle just about anybody with her beauty and grace. Upon the discovery of Myth’s skills, Myth’s parents signed her up for rhythmic gymnastic courses, and time after time again, Myth proved considerable skill with ribbons and batons, to the point that she has a near-unbeatable win streak in competitions, and was even chosen to represent Zaurius in the Olympics. With her stellar appearance and equally stellar skills, it’s not hard to see why. When the currently crowned Zaurian princess was scouted to attend Hope’s Peak as both an exchange student and the Ultimate Princess, Myth was soon invited alongside her childhood friend, as the Ultimate Gymnast, much to their mutual elation. Despite the burdening workload of both of their careers, they took well-deserved time off of their busy schedules to return to Hope’s Peak and chaperone this year’s Ultimates and Jr. Ultimates.

RELATIONSHIPS

Wyre Anon, Former Ultimate Princess

One would expect the crowned princess of Zaurius to be calm, mature and dignified (so more like Myth), but Wyre is the complete antithesis of these expectations, being loud, uncouth and isn’t afraid of getting themself dirty. Despite these negative qualities being completely unbecoming of a crowned princess, they have excellent political and war acumen, which helped fight off political threats. Ever since Wyre was little and met Myth at a royal banquet, Myth and Wyre have been practically attached to the hip. Myth has always been like Wyre’s keeper, always making sure the reckless princess stays in one piece and out of trouble.

Outfit: Longer hair in a ponytail, a gold headband with a ruby in the center, the suit worn in their Picrew draft design, plus gold gauntlets and boots.

Anon Scar, Reserve Course Student

Despite acting like an evil overlord, this all belies a very intelligent girl that managed to get into Hope’s Peak on academic merit alone. Scar is a member of Hope’s Peak’s reserve course, and is currently studying to become a medical professional. Myth wonders if Scar’s behavior is a result of this “chuunibyou” phenomenon that she heard about during her travels to Japan, and is constantly baffled by Scar’s eccentric behavior and constant mentions of the occult. Scar remains stunned at Myth’s grace and elegance with her signature ribbon, and Myth regularly lets Scar practice treating wounds on both her and Wyre.

Outfit: An ahoge sprouting out of her sidebun, a white turtleneck sweater, a brown jacket slung over her shoulders like a cape, a brown skirt, black leggings, brown slip-on shoes.

Fusion Anon, Ultimate Animator

Having been an animation fanatic ever since he was little, Fusion is famous for being the mastermind behind various animated edutainment series, which are famed for their educational content, fluid animation, and the lovable characters with adorable designs. Myth’s family usually watches high-class stage performances, so looking at Fusion’s work was really the first time that she ever saw an animated work, but she could tell that Fusion puts all of his big heart into his animation. Fusion regularly watches and records Myth’s exercise routines, in order to use as reference for the movement of his animated characters.

Outfit: A blue and silver hoodie with the Disney logo on the back over a black t-shirt with a Mickey Mouse head on the front, black artist gloves, glasses, pants and shoes from the original design.

Fusion Anon II, Ultimate Lucky Student

As the winner of Hope’s Peak’s yearly lottery system, Fusion II regularly tries to act cool and aloof around her peers and claim that she got her various wounds from fighting her enemies. In actuality, Fusion II has terrible luck and is notoriously clumsy, and gets injured from her regular pratfalls, with the lucky events coming right after to soften the blow. Fusion II’s sarcastic “bad-girl” facade can easily break to reveal the easily-embarrassed nerd that she truly is. Ashamed of her clumsiness and wanting to be cooler, Fusion II regularly arranges secret “gracefulness lessons” with Myth, and the two are making surprisingly remarkable progress.

Outfit: Messier hair with a long ahoge on top, black sunglasses that she has several copies of (in case her current pair breaks), a black leather jacket with a white clover design on the back over her lucky green t-shirt, ripped jeans with scraped knees, black boots to make herself look taller, bandages all over her person.

Just Anon, Ultimate Team Manager

Despite his own hatred for exercise or doing anything really, Janon is the manager for a whole barrage of sports teams, ranging from track to softball to even swimming. Despite his uncouth speech, cynical attitude, and claims towards the contrary, he has a soft spot for the young and blossoming athletes that he manages, and can’t help but tear up, whenever one of the athletes goes on to achieve bigger and better things. When Myth first heard that she was chaperoning the genius behind several prolific sports teams, she definitely wasn’t expecting such a lazy and cynical shizdoodle, but it’s very clear that Janon knows what he is doing.

Outfit: Hair tied back into a small ponytail, a black baseball cap on his head with a pink bunny clip on the right side, a pink and red tracksuit, his lucky silver whistle around his neck, red socks, white and black sneakers.

Sparkle Anon, Former Ultimate Yakuza

Despite being loud, eccentric, and having a flair for the dramatics, Sparkle comes from one of the most expansive and dangerous yakuza families in all of the country. When Myth and Wyre traveled to Japan, they were warned by their families to watch out for yakuza families, but it wasn’t until they chose to chaperone the yearly Kibo-Con tour that they actually managed to encounter an actual yakuza. Myth is used to seemingly eccentric people that secretly attempted to assassinate her, Wyre, or either of their families. Because of that, Myth tries her best to use her skills to avoid the hammy and dramatic yakuza heiress whenever possible.

Outfit: Hair shaved on one side, a black vest over a long-sleeved white dress shirt that has the left sleeve ripped off to reveal her sparkly tattoos, a brown trench coat that rests on her shoulders like a cape, black pants and matching shoes with red socks.

Egg Anon, Former Ultimate Traditional Dancer, and Wet Sock Anon, Former Ultimate Swordfighter

Coming from one of the most traditional and influential families in all of Japan, Egg and Wet Sock are both masters in their respective traditional craft, Egg at traditional dancing, and Wet Sock at swordfighting, respectively. Despite living in an old-fashioned temple without any form of access to the internet, Egg and Wet Sock regularly spout out cursed comments and meme references that wouldn’t be out of place in a high-schooler’s chat log. Very little else is known about this elusive duo, for they don’t seem to speak much when participating in their respective hobbies. Out of the twins, Myth gets along better with Egg, thanks to their similar domains.

Outfits: Kimonos (black and purple for Wet Sock, and yellow and green for Egg), white socks and brown geta sandals, glasses from original design.

Curious Anon, Jr. Ultimate Chef

Despite starting out as the cook to a random backwoods diner, Curious’s cooking skills were so good that the backwoods diner grew and grew, until it became a high-class and 5-star restaurant. All the while, the polite and courteous Curious still is behind the counter and making only the greatest of meals, even after all of these years. Curious regularly cooks for everyanon at the Kibo-Con, much to everybody’s (Fusion, especially) delight. Whenever the chef cooks, Myth can’t help but be reminded of her family’s personal chefs, who make only the classiest in delicacies. For that reason, the young culinary prodigy endears Myth on a personal level.

Outfit: Hair pulled back in a small ponytail, a white chef’s outfit with a green cravat and matching pants, brown shoes.

Anon Nerd, Former Ultimate Gamer

The sheer epitome of “Angry Video Game Nerd”, Nerd’s rage is truly unavoidable, if he either breaks his win streak or if he encounters a game-breaking glitch. Many controllers, televisions and computers have been broken in his fits of rage. Despite all of this, he is an expert at any sort of e-sports. When put next to each other, Myth and Nerd are like chalk and cheese, especially when you compare their temperaments and domains of their talents. Because of this, Myth and Nerd share a mutual dislike of each other. Myth thinks that Nerd should control his rage and act like more of a gentleman, and Nerd is envious of Myth’s coolheadedness.

Outfit: Messier hair and eyebags, red and grey headphones, a black hoodie with a Space Invader design on the front, black sweatpants, brown sandals.

Eldritch Anon, Ultimate Photographer

Wishing to expose the world for the terrible and dystopian wasteland that it is and waking the blind masses up to the inevitable apocalypse and collapse of the world as we know it, Eldritch uses his small height and his camo-patterned clothes to sneak into buildings and take pictures of the businesses there committing unethical practices. Because Myth is “bourgeois scum“, according to the photographer and whistleblower, Eldritch seems intent on exposing Myth for the “corrupt magnate” that she allegedly is, and always tries to snap pictures of Myth in “compromising positions much to the confusion of the high-class gymnast.

Outfit: A camo-colored hooded jumpsuit and matching gloves, boots, face paint and Polaroid camera.

Dream Anon, Ultimate Musician

As the leader, guitarist and lead vocalist of the band “Power Spike”, Dream’s cheerful and determined personality, along with her sheer skill at playing music, has earned her a massive following in the world of rock music. Myth usually listens to classical music, when she is practicing her ribbon-dancing routines. Listening to Power Spike’s music was an entirely new experience for her, and it gave her new ideas for new ribbon-dancing routines, and for that, Myth thanks Dream, much to the young rocker’s delight. Dream really wants Myth to be a backup dancer and choreographer for Power Spike’s concerts, to which Myth might possibly accept in the future.

Iris Anon, Jr. Ultimate Nurse

Having been superbly clumsy ever since she was little, Iris took it upon herself to patch up and treat her bumps, bruises and boo-boos, before eventually moving on to patching up her friends and eventually deciding that she should work to become a professional doctor. By her middle school years, Iris became a full-fledged nurse and was regarded as a prodigy by her college-aged classmates. Iris regularly likes to give health tips to Myth, before she starts some of her more strenuous performances and routines. Myth regularly performs ribbon tricks at the hospitals that Iris volunteers at, and the smiles of the children were simply unforgettable.

Outfit: Two barrettes shaped like red crosses, an oversized white labcoat over a blue t-shirt, a black pencil skirt, black stockings, red Mary Janes, glasses from original design.

Purple Anon, Ultimate Mechanic

Despite Purple’s fancy and eccentric mode of dress and equally-fancy vocabulary, Purple is an unparalleled expert, when it comes to repairing mechanical devices. Purple would much rather stay in her workshop all day, than interact with her clients, for she is painfully timid and socially-inept. Myth has heard of Purple’s works and heard that her repairs can go for quite the fortune and rich business magnates speak well of her repairs, and always wanted to meet her. But it seems that Myth’s seemingly cold-hearted attitude and sheer gracefulness just scared the timid mechanical genius away, much to the confusion of the gymnast.

Outfit: A black and purple top hat with brown goggles on top, a black vest over a purple dress shirt and a matching cape, a black skirt, black stockings brown gloves and boots.

PERSONALITY

Thanks to coming from a very influential family, Gymnast!Myth is calm and disciplined, in both her gymnastics and the way she behaves around others. Gymnast!Myth is calm and hospitable, which clearly came from her childhood days spent entertaining guests, always treating people with respect and dignity, regardless of their class and reactions towards her performances. That being said, Gymnast!Myth just loves to flex and boast about her skills to anyone willing to hear them, and you could hardly have a conversation with her without her showing off one of her many gymnastic skills. Gymnast!Myth often functions like a keeper or even a motherly figure to a majority of the other Anons, which came from years of disciplining Princess!Wyre.

APPEARANCE

Gymnast!Myth ties her naturally-brown hair in a tight bun on the back of her head with a bunch of purple bobby-pins that resemble flowers and wears a black and bi-flag-colored leotard with transparent sleeves patterned by lace flowers. To not reveal too much, she covers up the lower part of her leotard with a sparkly black skirt. On her legs, Myth wears black thigh-high “boots”, that are actually just thigh-high socks that get firmer on the bottom. She is hardly seen without her prized ribbon, which is colored like the bisexual pride flag.

This might be random, but I came to the blog for the icon/username, stayed for the vibes and memes and now I really wanna share my Fallout NV OC bc of you lol if I'm being honest. But Idk how to or if I should. I'm not really an artist (I write but that's it) or really sure where to start?

Oh thank you anon!! That’s really sweet to hear. It really does mean a lot, more than anything else on here, when I’m able to inspire other people to create on their own.

I’m not really sure what to say to you, though (if only because your ask doesn’t give me a lot of details), except to just go for it. When getting involved in fandom, especially a fandom that encourages the creation of OCs, I feel like there’s an expectation of everybody having some sort of Project, like a fanfiction. If you have an idea for a Project or are working on one as a writer, that’s great, but if you’re not, I wouldn’t let that stop you from sharing and developing your OC on your own time, in your own way. Fandom is an inherently social space, and fandom participation is inherently collaborative, so just having your OC out there and making friends with other people and talking about OCs together can be a rewarding, generative process in its own right.

So, just...start posting about them! It’s your blog, do what you want! My only advice is to tag your posts well so that your blog can stay pretty well-organized, especially for any OC-related stuff that you’d want to reference later. There’s a lot of OC development prompts where people are expected to send you numbers or emojis that you respond to, but there’s nothing stopping you from just filling it out yourself. I often see “ask me questions about my OC” posts that go around, but I don’t think anybody should ever really need to ask for permission to ramble about their OCs on their own blog. I think that these posts proliferate more so because people get insecure about whether anybody “actually” cares, but...

...as I explain anytime somebody asks me a question like this, I think it’s very important that nobody go seeking external validation in the form of replies and reblogs and comments when putting anything out there into the internet, fandom or otherwise. Obviously this feedback can be encouraging, but it’s not guaranteed and audiences can be fickle. When creating, you have to be creating because you want to create, it should be something you’d want to do even if you were the last person on earth. Otherwise, it’s so much easier to burn yourself out or feel so discouraged that you give up, when it’s so much more rewarding to do something for the intrinsic pleasure and practice of it, even if it’s not as spectacular of a reward as big numbers in your notes.

Also, if you’re not much of an artist but still really want people to see your OC, I know that some people use in-game screenshots, Picrews, and other kinds of avatar-generators to show off their OC’s design as well. If you’ve got any money laying around, you can commission other artists to make a sketch or reference sheet as well (I’m gonna open up commissions one of these days I swear haha). And as a writer, I’m sure you know that at the very least, a well-written description goes a long way.

Personality

Suna is very gentle and kind, to the point he often seems out of it. He is quite an air head and seemingly never gets stressed or angry. His calm nature often influences other people, making the infirmary not only a good place for injured students, but also panicked students who need some time alone. He is very good at tending to others needs and many students often come to him for advice about their relationships or school work. Despite being so out of it, he actually gives very sound and sensible advice. He gets injured very easily, and often is more injured than the students in the infirmary, however he never seems to mind, and always keeps doing his job with a smile. He never shows very strong emotions, and so it’s very hard to tell what he’s thinking. The most he’s ever laughed is a small giggle, which students struggle to tell if he’s genuine. He is always kind to students who have a troubled home life, and even acts a parental figure to those who didn’t have anyone reliable at home. He gets most passionate when dealing with problem children, and he believes there is good in everyone no matter what. Though he doesn’t get angry, it’s easy to note when he’s disappointed. Though he’s unable to hold a grudge, and the next day he’ll act like nothing happened.

Unique magic

Suna can heal anything by singing. All he has to do is put one hand on the injured person/animal and the other on his heart, then sing, and any wound or illness will heal. However, he can’t heal anyone who shares blood with him, no matter how distantly related they are. This means that he cannot heal himself. In fact, he actually gets injured much easier than the normal person. He also cannot use his unique magic if he’s in a state of distress.

Backstory

when he was very young, Suna was left on the doorstep of an orphanage. He had to grow up quickly, and he almost immediately became the big sibling to all the other children there. The orphanage was in a bad place, and children often had to go hungry, or got injured. Suna learned how to cook and sew so he could provide for them, and he also started stealing. He stared providing for the orphanage entirely, and started to hate the outside world for casting him, and all of the other children, out. He learned his unique magic at a young age, and used it to not only heal the children of the orphanage, but also to earn money. As his power grew, so did his reputation, and eventually he was known all over the land as a miracle healer. Word of his name grew so far, that a very wealthy family heard of him. Their daughter had grown ill, and they came to the orphanage, offering any amounts of money to have him heal her. He accepted, however when he tried it didn’t work. No matter how much he sung she wasn’t getting any better. The family were furious at him, and swore that they would ruin his life before they left. The girl died very soon after from the disease. Suna eventually realised that he must’ve been related to them. That his own family had walked into the orphanage where they left him and abandoned him yet again. Surpringly enough, he wasn’t furious. He already had his family, and he didn’t need them. Or so he thought. One day, after returning from his work, he saw that the orphanage he had once lived in had been knocked down. He never learned what happened to his siblings. When he got accepted into nrc, he was sorted into Pomefiore. His hatred of the world had boiled over, and he endlessly got into fights. He had a reputation for being a savage, and people often wondered why he had been sorted into Pomefiore, apart from his pretty face. Over time, he started seeing Crowley as a father figure, and he became slowly less violent, even though he still seemed to be constantly getting into fights. When he was about to graduate, Crowley offered him a job at nrc as the school nurse. Suna, who felt he owed him a dept, agreed, and after a year abroad he came back to nrc to take up his new job. Over the year he was gone, he did a complete personality 180, and became the soft spoken person he is today. No body knows what happened on his trip, and it’s often mused that they’re never gonna find out.

Trivia

Suna is horrible at practice magic, and will always come up with an excuse to avoid using it.

Not only does Sunas singing heal people, but it also sounds angelic. In his school days, he was referred to as a siren, who would sing to attract people to him and then beat them up.

Suna is saving up money to hopefully open his own orphanage one day, so he can help all the kids like him.

Suna refuses to heal anyone outside of nrc, out of a fear that he will run into someone he is related to, and be unable to heal them.

Despite being not much older, Suna treats Leona as his child, and will almost always step in to stop him from getting into fights. He also allows Leona to sleep in the infirmary when he wants to skip class, though Suna will always insist that they study together to make up for the missed lesson.

Suna has an extremely strange collection of random knowledge, but lacks any knowledge on how many everyday things work.

Suna is horrible with technology, and will write letters to people rather than text them.

Suna loves animals, and will often recruit birds to deliver the letters he writes.

Suna also treats Ruggie as his child, and is always trying to help him out in any way possible.

Suna sees Crowley as a parental figure, and believes he owes him his life.

Suna scars extremely easily, and he remembers the story behind every scar he has.

Suna often enjoys visiting the Pomefiore dorm, as he never appreciated it in his school days.

Suna is a horrible swimmer, but he is very buoyant, and can always float to the surface at will.

Suna isn’t afraid of practically anything, and can face off with seemingly certain death without being fazed.
