The killing game was always just a simulation. All the students were alive and well, but they needed to adapt to real life.
Shuichi, once he found out that Kaede was alive, ran to her room. Now they can be together and no one can separate them. I love saimatsu

Waking up from the simulation was draining, but at the same time, Shuichi felt overwhelming relief. It took a minute for his brain to catch up and recognize what that feeling meant.
All of their classmates were still alive. Every single one of them. As soon as he was able to, he got up and left his room to try to find Kaede’s, to apologize, to talk, to…anything.
Of course, he knew that adjusting to what his brain knew in the simulation and what the real world was like would take a while, but he wanted the comfort of someone he thought he lost forever.
Kaede smiled widely when he entered, and she look good- as in, not in poor shape or anything. Not that she didn’t look nice, either, just…Shuichi was glad to see her alive.
Though they still wanted to get to know each other a bit more in-depth first, it was just a relief to see each other again in a much less threatening context than the simulation had been.

HC about Juzo moving on from his crush on Munakata and starts dating the Great Gozu???

He knew that it was mostly a high school crush that had lingered on too long. There was no indication that Kyosuke would return his feelings, at least not that he picked up on.
It was tough, but Juzo wanted to be able to move on. The process was very long, and very hard, but he eventually did enough that he was ready to date someone else.
That was how he found himself accepting the date offered to him by Great Gozu- or, just Gozu. That was how Juzo knew him after their first couple of dates with each other.
Actually, it was really nice. Juzo was happy with Gozu, and Gozu was happy, too. He said as much. Juzo really enjoyed their dates and the kind of conversations they had.
Even though getting there was rough, Juzo was happy where he ended up. He couldn’t stay caught up on a school crush for the rest of his life; that wasn’t him.

It wasn’t that he was scared, necessarily. He didn’t think Kyosuke and Chisa would hate him or anything. Or, at the very least, he didn’t think they’d fully stop talking to him.
He’d had enough poor experiences, though, that he was wary. Even with them. It took him a while to get up the courage to tell them, until it finally just slipped out.
He didn’t know what he was expecting, but Chisa gave him a bone-crushing hug. Even Kyosuke looked kind of proud, in a way. Juzo didn’t know why until a moment later.
The two of them, he found out, were both queer, too- Chisa was pansexual, and Kyosuke was bisexual. It wasn’t just him, it appeared. He hadn’t known that about him.
It was a slight relief to be able to talk about things with those two, though he wasn’t comfortable coming out to anyone else just yet. Just those two was good enough.

When it came to relationships, the three of them were relatively well-communicating. That was how they started their arrangement for Chisa and Juzo both dating Kyosuke.
The two of them didn’t really mind that they were dating the same guy, since they were already familiar with each other. Kyosuke didn’t have many arguments, either.
So while Chisa and Juzo weren’t dating each other, Chisa used the opportunity to become even closer of a friend to him. Juzo wasn’t so sure that was needed, but couldn’t get out of it.
Sometimes it took a little extra work and conversation- both of them wanting to go on a date on a particular night- but for the most part everything went smoothly since they were friends first.
At the end of the day, Chisa, Juzo, and Kyosuke were all with the person (or people) they loved, and that was more than enough. They could deal with whatever happened next.

Headcanons for Kazuichi mentoring Nagisa?
here!
Kazuichi realized that Nagisa was made by his parents to be a much more studious person than he was. For a while, he thought that they wouldn’t have much of a bond because of that.
Once Nagisa recognized that Kazuichi was good at physical things like his talent of being a mechanic, he realized that maybe there were one or two things Kazuichi would be able to teach him.
Even though what they did in terms of learning mechanical stuff was smaller, Kazuichi was able to answer a lot of Nagisa’s questions both about that and about anything else.
It soon became that Kazuichi was like an older brother figure for Nagisa, or at the very least just someone he could trust who was almost an adult. And Kazuichi liked hanging out with Nagisa to work on stuff!
He hoped he was doing everything right, at least, since that was his first time mentoring someone on anything. It seemed like he at least was not making anything worse.

Makoto as the ultimate digital animator headcanons?
sure!
Digital animation was something that interested him the first time he saw it. Makoto instantly wanted to try it out for himself, which was how his talent truly manifested.
There was a bit of a learning curve, of course, especially as technology updated and he had to learn how to use new programs, but he had a lot of fun with his projects.
He was one of his classmates who tended to get really absorbed in what he was doing to the point where he accidentally stayed up really late. To be fair, he was trying to work on that.
A lot of his projects, even the shorter ones, required a lot of time and attention. It wasn’t unusual for him to be late or absent from class because he was working on something or catching up on sleep.
His animations were very widely popular, even outside of Japan. Makoto was just happy that he was making something he could be proud of with every animation project.

ultimate physicist Kokichi?
sure
Kokichi found little physics kits as a kid and was always enthralled by them. He eventually got around to setting up some little experiments on his own, checking out books about them too.
Setting up and executing experiments for physics was always a certain kind of thrill. Even if they didn’t pan out like he hypothesized, it was still something to be learned.
He liked teasing his classmates about some of the more mind-breaking parts of physics, just to freak them out a little bit. Their reactions were always priceless!
Even though he’d published a few papers, writing them was always kind of boring. He took a lot of breaks to bother his classmates to procrastinate writing them.
He’d been told that he should teach college physics one day, but he wasn’t very keen on the idea. College students weren’t as fun as messing with some of the other physicists he knew.

in celebration of my first 4* of them, some haruan headcanons? - ii
absolutely!! and congrats on their 4*s :D
An liked teasing that they were practically fated to be together since they were little. Whenever Haruka agreed with her, completely serious, An’s face got so red from blushing.
Although they’re both very busy people, between More More Jump! and Vivid Bad Squad, they at the very least text each other good morning and good night daily.
Haruka is a clothes stealer, but very subtly. One of An’s sweatshirts will go missing and show up a month later as part of Haruka’s disguise when she’s out in public.
It’s alright, though, because An gets back at her by setting up Haruka’s plushies in cute scenes and taking pictures of them on Haruka’s phone when she wasn’t in the room. Haruka still has all of them.
They both agree that live music is best, but CDs are better than listening to music online, so a lot of their casual dates are accompanied by some of their favorite mix CDs.

Everything was laid out right in front of him, though.
Sonosuke Izayoi:
He was quiet about the issue.
It was a good thing they were all healed now.
Maybe there was still a chance to heal the new damage.
Ruruka Ando:
On the surface, she brushed it off.
It kind of tore her up on the inside, though.
What kind of stuff did she even do?
Seiko Kimura:
She’d been worried something like that would happen…
She started apologizing profusely, wanting to make up for it.
Would she even be of any help anymore?
Great Gozu:
He had a hard time believing that brainwashing worked on him.
The evidence was all there, though.

I loved the HC you did that was based on H2O and was wondering if you could do another one of those with the Sweets Trio (Ruruka, Sonosuke & Seiko)???
aww sure!
Seiko was definitely the most worried about the whole mermaid thing. Ruruka just thought it was cool, and Sonosuke tended to go along with whatever she thought on most things.
Which was kind of irritating, because it meant that Ruruka wasn’t as good at avoiding coming into contact with water in front of crowds of people. Definitely stressful.
Sonosuke and Seiko generally explained away those situations pretty easily; they were both pretty practiced with that, and Ruruka would promise to do better, but she was hardly more careful.
It was nice when it was just the three of them and they could swim, but Seiko was always still worried that someone would find out and then something would happen to them.
It probably wouldn’t happen, since the three of them could look after each other, but sometimes those worries were more founded. Even Sonosuke and Ruruka could admit that.

Okay! The first episode ranking for me is always the hardest, and there are so many talented contestants! Usually for Girls Planet and Boys Planet, I chose my favorites for the final lineup of 9. As far as I know, there's no set lineup number yet, so I chose my top 6. So here are my favorites in no particular order based on the first episode:
