King 🐉 who uses you to get tf off work.
🐉: "You have ten minutes to discuss."
Some official: "My king? This is a long topic--"
🐉: "Then be present first thing tomorrow."
Official: "Pardon my rudeness, however the line to your audience is always long--"
🐉: "Queueing at three in the morning will surely land you first ten, I'd wager."
Official: "I beg you, just an hour of your time--"
🐉: "An hour! Surely you jest? What would my spouse say? Or do? Can you imagine! An hour of overtime!"
🐉: "My sympathies go to you, though you must understand that my hands are tied. I am sure you empathize. Spouses can be terrifying..."
Official, defeated: "Yes, yes..."
🐉: "Eight minutes."
Official: "Y-yes!"
From then on, anyone who wants an audience with the king has learned to practice thoroughly before the scheduled meeting date. They learned to discuss so concisely and quickly, in fact, that it paved way to the emergence of a brand new entertainment scene in their country: Thorns and roses rap, where participants try to decimate each other with the most eloquent, rhythmic and thorny phrases they could within a short given amount of time.

TWST dormleaders & their predecessors (whom they look up to)
I wrote this at 4 A.M. in a fit of not being able to stop thinking about it
Riddle
You kinda pulled an Ace at the end of your 1st year, maybe start of the second
Your dorm leader was spineless and Heartslabyul was a madhouse
So you stepped in
You weren't as strict as Riddle is, but there was definitely order
But it was exhausting
Queue your 3rd year and this rule-loving freshman named Riddle Rosehearts who was here for like a week (a week he spent following you around like a baby duck)
The little guy challenged you to a duel
(Totally not to impress you)
And while you didn't let him win
You didn't pull out any of the stops either
You probably would've won if you had
But being in charge of these weirdos sucked and now? It was this kids problem
He still respected you
Especially after what he heard about your predecessor
You probably would've picked him to fill your shoes anyways
Has Ace alphabetize the dishes when you come back from 4th year internships
Leona
You took your dorm by force
You were the vice prefect and challenged the dorm leader for the spot
And wiped the floor with him
Best 10 wins of 10 challenges
Legend status amongst your dormmates for it
But, 3rd year came and you had nobody to follow you up
And then this cocky little first year absolutely decimated one of your friends
Leona motherfucking Kingscholar
He was different in his first year
He clearly had the brains for the job
And he was intimidating (very important when leading this zoo of a dorm)
So, you took him under your (maybe literal) wing
Leona was proud that you hand picked him to be your successor
But, something happened around the time you graduated
(You graduated is what happened)
And now? He's the depressed 20 year old we all know and love
If you visit, you're gonna have to hit him with the "I'm not mad. I'm just... disappointed"
Azul
You got the spot in a formal duel your 2nd year
Your predecessor was annoying, plus you wanted the top spot
Ambition is a hell of a drug
In your 3rd year you looked at all your dormmates and went "Where's the ambition?"
Spoiler: an octo-mer had it all locked away in contracts
He was like, the only option
PLUS he had business ideas
Upgrades people, upgrades
The transition of power looked more like someone was reading your will, except the only beneficiary you had was Azul
"Leadership of Octanvinelle goes to Azul, my tutoring business goes to Azul, etc., etc."
(Comps your meals at the monstro when you come back from internships, please tell him he's doing a good job and you're proud of him)
Kalim
You're his (maternal) cousin
You earned it because you exemplified the dorm, you were hand picked
Your cousin... he's sweet, but he shouldn't be going here
You originally wanted to give the spot to Jamil
And during the month he was here without Kalim, it looked like you were going to do that
You were literally teaching him the ins and outs of running the place
But your family put a lot of pressure on you to pick Kalim
A lot of pressure
Like, you thought your grandpa was going to smother you in your sleep if you didn't give it to Kalim
And he would've
It's brutal out here
So when your 3rd year was coming to a close, you gave Kalim the spot
And apologized to Jamil
Words cannot describe how devastated he looked that day
When you and the other 4th years come back, Kalim throws a huge party
But, given you're kinda Jafar-y
You're probably not huge on the party
So you just chilled by a wall and helped keep Kalim from dying
Vil
You took the position after your first year winter break
You studied your ass off and made a poison stronger than your prefect
Purely to say you could do it
Vil rolled up during your 3rd year and didn't beat you until the end of the year
Two days after he asked you to give him your old poisons notes
Nobody could say he wasn't a hard worker
(I mean they could, but you'd give them hell over it)
You were remarkably cool about it too, especially for your dorm
You gave him a high five and a happy "I knew you could do it"
(And a big hug)
Don't bring up the VDC to him, he will poison you to end the conversation
He's embarrassed it happened, don't remind him that his old mentor knows about it
Idia
It was a pro gamer move tbh
Why did you do it? Simple, you wanted that sweet, sweet private room.
How'd you do it?
A public duel that your dorm leader forfeited because they didn't want to be outside
When'd you do it?
A month after school started and you saw someone you share a room with replace showering with axe bodyspray
And then Idia did the same to you during your third year
Respect
There were hard feelings, but the hard feelings were "really, you couldn't have waited?"
Emails you if he needs help resolving a student issue
Like
"How do I get two students to stop fist fighting over a patent, please respond as soon as you get this"
Cut to him just standing there watching the fight
Diasomnia
It just kinda happened to you
Like, one minute you're dueling over some petty reason (you didn't realize this was your dorm leader)
The next? You're in possession of the splendid spindle scepter (say that three times fast)
And when it came time to pass the torch?
Malleus was the obvious answer
You just went up to him, went "Hey, you want a cool stick?"
And gave it to him once he said yes
You strolled off and said "good luck kid"
That was the only time you ever spoke to him
Lilia still isn't over how weird the whole this was
Malleus makes it sound way more cinematic than it was
He's like
They approached out of nowhere (see: you walked up from behind him) and presented me with their own power, disguising it as the mundane (see: asking him if he wants a cool stick) and simply asked if I wanted it, not warning me of the consequences or promising me the benefits (see: "do you want a cool stick?") Before they disappeared on the wind when I accepted the burden (see: walking off with a hand in your pocket and holding up a lazy peace sign)
When you visit, he treats you like you imparted some great wisdom on him and it changed his life forever
And you did
For him? It was life changing. For you? You were on your way to go skateboarding or something

Heyy🥰 It's me again, can I request another fic with Mista where he tries to confess to us but it gets really difficult because there's always someone that interrupts him? Plus the reader is really shy, generous and oblivious uwu. When he finally succeeds can you make a nfsw at the end 👀. If I'm asking too much, it's okay if you don't want to add the nfsw part, I don't want you to stress over this 🥺. Love you! 🥰💕
Alright! I ended up not adding the not sfw solely bc it was getting long and ive been getting a bit of writers block lately. Might slow down the queue soon!
Warnings: None
It had been two weeks now since Mista first tried to get you alone for a talk. The idea absolutely freaked you out, leaving you to think that you had done something wrong on a mission, or worse, that you were getting fired. Could you get fired from the mafia? You didn’t know, and let’s be honest, you weren’t exactly keen on finding out. You felt comfort in sitting with the group, seeing everyone around the table as the lot of you hung out. But… Today, well, it seemed like you were the first one there. You sighed and sat down, tapping your foot a bit as you pulled out your book. Well, everyone else would show up eventually. You barely noticed everyone coming and going until you felt hands on your shoulders. You squeaked, immediately looking up.
“Hey, (Y/n), perfect timing! I’m glad you’re here early!” Mista was grinning down at you, leaving you to gasp. You looked away, pulling back a bit as Mista sat down next to you.
“So, I’ve been trying to get a hold of you for a little bit here. I was wondering if maybe, sometime next week, we could-”
“Oi, Mista, (Y/n)! What’s goin’ on, the two of you are sitting at the table like lovers!” You heard Narancia calling over to the two of you, leaving you to sigh a bit in relief. You didn’t notice how Mista pursed his lip.
“Lovers? I don’t really think…” You mumbled, looking at the ground. Mista just rolled his eyes at Narancia, ignoring him as he sat down at the table and pulled his headphones on.
“Well, as I was saying, (Y/n), I was hoping that we could-”
“Hey, Narancia, get those off. We have worksheets to go through today, you can’t just sit here and laze around.” Fugo called as he walked in, leaving you to look over to him. Narancia pouted as he pulled his headphones off.
“Aw, come on! We did worksheets yesterday! Come on, (Y/n), back me up here!” Narancia complained.
“W-Well, I, um-” “You can’t hide in (Y/n)’s skirt this time. Come on, no cake until you finish all of this.” Fugo cut you off, leaving you just to pull at a bit of your hair as he pulled up a seat next to Narancia. Mista audibly sighed.
“Well… If that’s the last of the interruptions, there’s someone I really want to talk to you about, (Y/n). I was wondering if maybe this weekend, we could-”
“Aren’t we all lively today? And I thought I would be the first one here.” Bucciarati called out as he entered the room, Abbacchio in tow. However, that seemed to be the breaking point for Mista, leaving him to slam his fist on the table.
“God, you guys made me mess this up three times now! I can’t try and ask (Y/n) out a fourth time, that’s bad luck! Just shut up for a second!” He yelled, leaving everyone to… Pause. You felt your face heat up as you stared at the floor. Ask you out? That… That’s what Mista wanted to try and talk to you about? The room fell silent as everyone looked at each other, then you. Abbacchio actually ended up speaking up first. His tone was enough to strike fear into you, and you weren’t even the one getting chewed out.
“Mista. That’s no way to talk to your Capo. You will apologize immediately-”
“No, Abbacchio. It’s alright.” Bucciarati piped up, sitting down on the other side of you. “I’m sorry for interrupting you. It wasn’t my intention.”
“Well, it’s too late now. Now I looked like an idiot thanks to Abbacchio. I swear, it’s bad luck if I ask again, so I’m going to have to wait until tomorrow to do it-” Mista leaned back, starting to talk on about the number four, but you just piped up, your voice quivering.
“T… This weekend is f-fine!” You finally got out, your face beet red. The group all stared at you, before they… Burst out laughing. You covered your face with your hands, completely decimated. This was a nightmare. But Mista just chuckled with everyone else, throwing a hand over your shoulder.
“Now that’s what I like to hear, cara!"

Top 10 Battles in the Metal Saga (in no particular order)
Kyoya-Ryuga
There aren’t many battles that are just about raw power the way this one is. The whole thing is just so extra, from ruining the stadium before the battle even begins to ending with Ryuga’s possession and Kyoya passing out with a dragon’s tail going through his chest. The power-play between these two is riveting. And on top of that, it’s the closest anyone but Gingka and Nemesis ever gets to beating Ryuga. However, it does annoy me that Kyoya is the only one of Ryuga’s opponents in Battle Bladers who comes out unaffected in the long-term. After their respective battles, Hikaru retires from Beyblade, Tsubasa suffers with possession, and both experience a healthy dose of PTSD but apparently, Kyoya gets away with no signs of it? I call bullshit.
2.Da Xian - Julian
If you didn’t love Da Xiang before, you had to after this battle. It did a brilliant job of highlighting how good Dashan is at manipulating people, and doing so “coolly, and brilliantly”. Dashan sees the scene as the opportunity it is and coaxes Julian from a disheartened shell of his former self to someone who’s willing to try again without the man even knowing. Oh, and he gets Julian to appreciate the value of his friends too. And beats him in battle easily. And delivers, “You think you and I are alike? That’s an insult, ” decimating Julian’s remaining pride. Talk about being cool. (Chao Xin should definitely take pointers)
3. Gingka vs 100 (supposedly) Face Hunters
I had a hard time choosing between this and the battle earlier in the episode where Gingka first saves Kenta from Face Hunters, but I think this holds more impact and the one Kenta thinks is more notable. As a fight itself, it’s short compared to some of the other more epic battles on this list, and its placement is more about the consequences of it than the contents of the actual battle itself.  It’s the moment where Kenta’s admiration for Gingka really cements, and the moment that Kyoya takes a serious interest in him, shaping his relationship with two people who will be monumental in his life. Also, Gingka looks super cool and baby Kenta is adorable.
 4.  Excalibur-Gan Gan Galaxy
This battle has one of my favourite scenes of ALL TIME- Masamune single-handedly cutting through Sophie and Wales’s joint special move. Let me just take a second to gush about how powerful he is and how much I love him and how he deserves so much more love and did I mention he stopped the twins in their track with ONE MOVE. Your fave could never but if I don’t stop now, i’ll be talking about Masamune all day.
The visual of Pegasus and Striker moving as one force, with the music crescendoing only for Destroyer to cut them down at the climax, is breathtaking. Seriously, I’ve watched that one scene on repeat and my breath catches.
I love to see Masamune and Gingka work together as a team, especially because it’s not their preferred dynamic and it doesn’t always come easily to them. But when they try, they’re magic together, partially because they’re so alike. This is the only battle where we get the full force of the Y-Masamune-Gingka dynamic, a god-tier trio who can only possess one brain cell when they’re together because otherwise, they’d be way too strong. Let’s be real. If these morons actually combined their intelligence, they would have crushed Excalibur to dust. We need more scenes with them tbh
As a side note, it was not at all ok for these guys to crash the festival or for Yu to ruin a culturally important arena. It’s played off way to lightheartedly for my tastes.  It’s not even the only time they’re insensitive- in Fury, Yu and Kyoya damage ancient ruins and Gingka’s group explicitly disobeys orders to not step on a sacred volcano. The whole thing is kinda gross and the Metal Saga should address its serious disregard for other cultures. Sophie losing her shit on a literal 12 year old was funny though.
5. The Legendary Bladers-Nemesis part 2
This is a pretty long battle, I linked it to where the battle begins but it doesn’t end until the end of the next episode. There’s a lot about this battle that drives me crazy- like why are you people just letting Kenta destroy himself, why are the strongest bladers in the world who were specifically chosen for this battle unable to withstand for more than two hits, etc  BUT- this is when Ryuga hands over the Star Fragment which is cool and emotional enough to let everything else slide. It’s a pretty satisfying conclusion to the Kenta-Ryuga arc and rings parallel to Metal Fusion down to Ryuga pulling a Storm Pegasus and disappearing into thin air.Which talking about, I will forever be mad Storm Pegasus doesn’t ever come into play after Metal Fusion. Shogun Steel would have been such a perfect time to bring Storm Pegasus back to play and assure in a new era- such wasted potential, but I digress.
Oh, and friendly reminder that Yu’s Inferno Blast breaks through Rago’s barrier while 8 Legendary Bladers combined couldn’t leave a dent on Nemesis.
6. Kenta-Reiji
Talking about emotional, if you didn’t cry during this battle, you’re a liar- it’s painful to watch. The entire thing with Kenta using Libra’s performance tip and his insistence that he has to win for Yu- it breaks your heart. Reiji is such a great villain because he does exactly what he’s meant to do- make the audience be invested in him. He’s so unnecessarily cruel, so irredeamable, and this episode drills that into your skull. Even the spectators of the match can’t look on as Reiji tortured Kenta well after Sagittario has stopped spinning.
7. Easter Island
It would take too long to name everyone involved in this, so i’m not going to. But boy is it a ride You’ve got King starting it off with Chris for insulting/defeating/humiliating Masamune- a noble cause if there ever was one. His impassioned defense of his boyfriend is one of the best speeches/declarations in the Saga and is also 80% of the reason this battle is on the list. The guy has his priorities straight, ok. Gingka says it’s either Masamune’s feelings or the world and King chooses Masamune, no questions, no hesitations. Can’t say I blame him. Especially after seeing the heartbreak on Masamune’s face when Chris insults him. But of course, the world is actually more important so
Gingka jumps in to stop King which as Benkai mentions, you can’t stop him from battling by actually battling him, so I don’t know what Gingka was thinking. Johannes’s lackies, including Aguma and the Beylin Fist, joins the battle, prompting Zeo, Toby, etc to also join. Then Ryuga appears and starts draining Chris’s power before Kenta stops him (thus publically revealing their affiliation to the world) and the two disappear. Literally everyone is involved, Johannes tells Chris to “man up” when he dares to show pain that Ryuga is literally stealing his power away but then vanishes because he doesn’t want to face Gingka head on yet. Can you say hypocrite? And while this was all happening, Johannes somehow managed to buy Chris’s loyalties.
It’s insane and so much fun.
8.Tsubasa-Jack
I didn’t expect to put this on the list but I watched it recently and had a newfound appreciation for it so here it is. While the team battle with Excalibur was the climax of Tsubasa’s arc, this was the resolution. It is arguably Tsubasa’s best battle of the series. He made his recovery with Excalibur, had a practice run with the Garcias, and by this battle, Tsubasa is better than ever. There’s a satisfaction in watching Tsubasa beat Jack with ease. After struggling the entire season, it's very cathartic. There’s this one bit where Jack is complaining about battling Ryuga and how Tsubasa can’t possibly know the disappointment he felt  and Tsubasa snaps, because how fucking dare he, who the fuck did Jack think he is. Again, very cathartic.
Irrelevant, but this episode has some of the best quotes including gems like
 “What is this? A bunch of creepy pictures”;
“Oh dear Tsubasa” queue Jack asking for a battle;
“You’re really lacking in the culture department” - Jack to Madoka,  “
The rest of Gan-Gan Galaxy are common, unrefined types”.
The list never ends. Do yourself a favour and watch the episode.
9. Zoe-Toby-Masamune
This is the only season where there’s no one Final Battle but instead two separate climactic moments- Ryuga and Gingka working together to stop Hades City from melting down(?) and Toby and Zeo  fighting to bring Toby back to normal.
Unlike the Finales in Fusion and Fury, this one’s private, personal. Not only were Ryuga-Gingka battle and the Battle against Nemesis attended by a lot of people, they were also widely broadcasted across the world. In comparison, Toby, Zeo and Masamune (and Ziggurat at one point) are the only ones to witness the Finale in Masters. It’s a very intimate moment. Their friendship is fractured-Toby's brainwashed,  Zeo was manipulated, and there’s still tension because Masamune left them in a time of need. The two of them are finally confronting just how much their friendship has strained: Masamune never imagined Zeo would resent him when he only ever wanted to fulfill Toby’s wish; he’s almost offended Zeo would think so badly of him. On the other hand, Zeo wrestles between accepting Ziggurat manipulated him but also his very valid resentment towards Masamune. They both hurt each other but get past it and forgive each other for the sake of their best friend. Bey battles are when bladers communicate through each other and in this one, these three use it to find their way back to each other.
10.
Gingka-Kyoya
Of course, the list wouldn’t be complete without a Gingka-Kyoya battle. Despite Kyoya being Gingka’s second biggest rival, they only have 3 complete battles with a clear winner. (Kyoya is disqualified in Survival Battle, and neither won in the Championships Team battle or the one in Fury). Despite there being so few options, it was still hard for me to choose because they’re all brilliant and my opinion changes every other day.
Honestly, I didn’t remember why I chose this battle, so I went back in and re-watched it- SO many thoughts. For one thing, Kyoya sounds like a cheesy bat man villain.  Seriously though, the battle feels so off to me because in this episode, Kyoya is more or less just another evil villain; a pale foreshadow of what Ryuga will become in the Final Battle. I’m not even kidding. This hits almost the exact beats that the Gingka-Ryuga battle will.  I didn’t like this battle when I re-watched it for this post. Gingka and Kyoya’s battles are important because of the history and bond they share and in this battle, neither of those are solidified and it’s just not as satisfying.
I will admit though that this battle was important for them, mostly Kyoya who was headed towards unhinged-Ryuga territory before Gingka saved him. It kickstarts Kyoya into being the lovable grump we know he’s capable of being and creates a debt towards Gingka which in turn develops into an actual friendship. It’s an important step of their journey and I can’t begrudge it too much ig. If you really want to watch a Gingka-Kyoya battle for non-thematic reasons, though, I recommend the World Championships or the one in Metal Fury Ep 1

Love under a contract Pt.3
Tumblr media
I know I haven’t updated this in forever, but I guess better late than never. I think I’ve improved since chapter 2 and I know you’ll notice small differences in my writing. I tried writing this in reader perspective but still third person if that makes sense? Anyway next chapter will include smut! Hope you enjoy! <3
PAIRING: BTS x reader
GENRE: Fluff, slight angst, future smut
WORDCOUNT:  1830
WARNINGS: Mention of masturbation
SUMMARY: The last fifty years the female population had declined, instead of the world being divided 50/50 female/male it was now 1:7 which meant that polyandry was now necessary for the world to keep going as it used to be. Of course some people were happier about this than others. One of the less content people was Larissa. She couldn’t care at all if she’d get more respect by dating a big number of men, all she wanted was to get her degree and become an architect like she always had wanted, unfortunately the world had other plans… kind of.
The day wasn’t planned to go like this, no, not at all. Y/N had to prepared this day thoroughly for a week, now it was ruined. Not because she had spilled coffee on someone and then got to know their roommates, one which she already has had an awkward encounter with. No, all of that was fine in the long run, the problem was that they were boys, and extremely handsome boys at that. Y/N could remember the first fourteen decimals in the number of pi, she could even make a lamp out of a potato, but this no. No, no, no boys were a big nono. 30 minutes ago she had spoken to them all with no problem, but it was in work setting, she spoke to be able to come to an agreement, How stupid could she be? She herself proposed that she could wake Yoongi up, who does that? And when she did she realized that this situation wasn’t comfortable anymore. She needed to get out without anyone noticing her.
To get to the front door would mean having to go through the living room where everyone was. This gave Y/N two options; either she face her social anxiety and go up to the boys or she takes the fire exit. The decision was easy, of course she would take the fire exit. Yoongi’s room was at the end of the hall by a window, the window.
Y/N sneakily walked towards it and quietly pulled the window up. Right below it was the ladder. The only problem now was that she was on the sixth floor, it was a long way down.
Without hesitation Y/N put down first her right leg and then the left one.
“This is going to be easy.” she said quietly to herself. And as if on queue the ladder began shaking with each movement..
“Shit!” It was too late to go back now, it’s not like the ladder was going to break anyway, that only happens in movies, so Y/N kept going. She never once thought how strange this must’ve looked to spectators; a girl climbing out the window of one of the nation’s biggest boy groups, yeah this was strange. Of course Y/N didn’t know who her neighbors potentially were, there was never time to look that up, she had school to worry about.
After struggling down the ladder for at least seven minutes, Y/N finally put her feet on the ground.
“Easy peasy lemon squeezy!” Y/N exclaimed to herself while brush herself off in victory.
“Now for that test.”
Y/N had already forgotten the adventures from the morning and was making her way to that small café she loved about a mile away from campus. She noticed that a lot of people were staring at her, but brushed it off. Maybe they were staring because she was a foreigner?
Beyond the stares Y/N felt uneasy, like she was followed.
Of course her suspicions were confirmed way too late when a black van pulled up and she was snatched by a man in a mask. On impact she screamed all she had.
“Shhhhhh, please be quiet.” Did this man really think that would work? It only pushed her to scream higher.
“Y/N you need to shut up” The driver shouted this time.
“How do you know my name? Who are you? I’m only a student, I have no money so you can’t press money out of me-” The blabbering kept going until the snatcher shut her mouth with his hand.
“Calm down, it’s me Seokjin.” He took off his mask and true to his words there sat Kim Seokjin, how glorious he was with his blonde hair and his big, black eyes and those lips, oh how she could kiss them all day.
“-see this- Wait Y/N are you even listening?” Damn did she really think that, now, about her kidnapper? Oh yes she did.
“Oh yeah totally. But why are you kidnapping me? Are you all on it? Is this because I left without saying anything?
“Y/N please shut up and let him explain without you interrupting.” The driver started talking again.
“Thank you Namjoon. We didn’t mean to startle you but we need to talk and yes it’s about you leaving, or rather your method of leaving. Someone saw you, filmed it and now it’s everywhere on the internet.”
“Wait, wait, wait how could it go viral that fast? Girls leave boys’ rooms through the window all the time. Why would they bat an eye this time?”
“Because- Wait, you don’t know it do you?” Namjoon chirped in again from the front seat. His intellect was out of this world and he realized it before Jin.
“Don’t know what?!” Jin and Y/N said at the same time obviously not catching on.
“Tell me Y/N have you ever heard of BTS, Bangtan Sonyeondan?” She shook her head no.
“Well they are a kpop-group, which you probably never have listened to. Just one small detail though- WE ARE BTS!” Y/N ‘s mouth formed an ‘o’-shape.
“That explains a lot”
“Is that really all you have to say about this situation? No further questions, no fangirling?” Y/N just shook her head upon Seokjin’s words.
“It’s not that big of a deal.”
“We’re here.” The car stopped and Namjoon stepped out of the car, slamming the door in the progress. A few seconds later he opened the backdoor to let Y/N and Jin out. When he reached out to help Y/N down she finally realized that she was alone with boys. Immediately sweat started to break out and she literally threw herself out of the van and took off sprinting, although she didn’t get far until a strong hand grabbed her.
“Nuh uh, not this time. You ain’t getting away until we talk this through.” Of course it was the muscle bunny Jungkook who had caught her.
“Let me go, please I can’t do this, please Jungkook.” He knew he shouldn’t but upon hearing her begging and whimpering, blood started flowing downstairs.
“Just make it easy for you and help us sort this out. We can’t stay out like this for too long.” Y/N of course realized that she would never be able to actually slip out of Jungkook’s strong grip.
“Fine, just, please make this quick.”
With that they walked back to the apartment complex. Seokjin and Namjoon where waiting by the entrance.
Back at their apartment the rest of they boys where waiting. All of them had mixed expressions on their faces. Hoseok had a smile on his face but it didn’t reach his eyes, Jimin looked apologetic, and Taehyung looked plain angry. But Yoongi’s face was the worst it was blank, and no one knew what he was thinking.
“Boys before you say anything, she didn’t know who we were.” Jin warned before the storm.
“Y/N because of you little stunt everyone either thinks that you’re screwing us or that you broke inside our apartment. And none of that’s true. We don’t even know why you broke out the window. You could've just left out the door like a- you know, a normal person.” Taehyung’s hard look softened when he saw how scared she was.
Y/N was still holding onto Jungkook. He himself didn't let go either, he secretly liked this feeling of being depended on. It was something he rarely felt because of him being the youngest. That feeling combined with Y/N ‘s breast poking him in his arm made him lightheaded and truthfully horny- where was his self control? he thought.
“I have to go, I can’t take this.” With that Jungkook took his leave, and everyone except Y/N had understood what was going on with him, if it wasn’t for his behavior, his boner poking through his jeans definitely gave it away.
Y/N, the sweet innocent Y/N thought she had done something wrong and made him angry.
“He’s okay, just give him some time.” Jimin patted her shoulder in a comforting way, but Y/N just shied away from his touch.
“This meeting needs to happen now, with or without Jungkook.” The leader said.
It took a long time, much longer than the last meeting. That was only a few hours ago but it seemed like a lifetime. Y/N was now a public figure, only because she had spoken with some boys- and then gone home to them, and hung out with them, and- you know what forget it. Namjoon had called their company so that they could publish an official excuse. All of them were going, well except Jungkook, and Y/N wasn’t permitted to leave the apartment.
“Maybe I should see Jungkook and apologize?” This, of course, went against all of her morals but it looked like she wasn’t about to leave in a while, the least she could do was mend this relationship.
The decision was made and Y/N walked towards where she had seen Jungkook enter.
Stupidly enough she entered without knocking and she saw something many dreamed of, but this wasn’t a dream to her, no it was a nightmare.
There on the bed he was jerking off. He was holding himself in his hand and breathing heavily.
Except for letting out a surprised gasp Y/N didn't do anything else. After that she didn’t stay long enough to find out more and she found herself running out to the kitchen.
While still inside his room, Jungkook was shocked. He pulled up both his underwear and jeans and made his way towards the kitchen where he heard water running.
“Y/N I’m really sorry you had to see that but let me explain!” Jungkook thought that she had seen more than she actually did and was just about to explain more than necessary.
“When I heard the sounds you were making earlier today- sorry I couldn’t help myself and, and, then you kept holding onto me and poking me with your boob. It just excited me.”
“No, no it’s totally okay, you were in your own room and I invaded your privacy- WAIT WHAT!? YOU WERE THINKING OF ME WHILE DOING THAT!?” Y/N wasn’t angry at the revelation, just confused. No one had ever thought of her in that regard and her body reacted opposite of what it should. She felt hot and had Jungkook always looked this good? She took a glance down and his erection was still as prominent, if not more.
“YES AND I’M SORRY” This conversation had turned into shouting and they were both moving closer, although no one noticed, at least not until they could feel each others breaths’ on their faces.
They paused and looked at each other and just like that their lips met in a kiss.
Huh, who would’ve thought?

First week doing a 10k run with Johto. Tbh I always found Johto one of the easier Champion Stadium regions. It has the better stage parameters and I have better units to use against the Elite 4 members compared to the other regions.
Click “keep reading” to read more about my thoughts on my team comps and strategies I used.
First round: Karen
Parameters: Physical Dmg. Reduction, Special Dmg. Reduction, Max Sync Countdown, Defense & Sp. Def ↑ 1, Defense & Sp. Def ↑ 3, Max HP ↑ 2, Ally Healing ↓ 5, Critical-Hit Defense, Defense & Sp. Def ↑ 5, Max Sync Countdown -2,  Gradual Healing at Start, Ally HP ↓ at Start 5, Max HP ↑ 4, Ally Move Gauge Max -2, Max HP ↑ 6
Team Comp: 5/5 Misty (Swimsuit) & Psyduck with Vigilance, 2/5 BP Erika & Tangela, 5/5 Janine & Aridos
Ah yes, classic stall. I wanted to take advantage of the status condition boost this week so instead of using Lusamine, I employed a stall team on Karen.
Second round: Bruno
Parameters: Physical Dmg. Reduction, Attack & Sp. Atk ↑ 1, No Status Conditions, Strength ↑ 1,  Sync Buff ↑ 5, Attack & Sp. Atk ↑ 3, Defense & Sp. Def ↑ 3, Ally Healing ↓ 5, Attack & Sp. Atk ↑ 5, Strength ↑ 3, Ally Move Gauge Max  -2, Strength  ↑ 6
Team Comp: 3/5 EX Skyla & Swanna, 3/5 Sabrina & Alakazam, 5/5 EX Giovanni & Mewtwo with Critical Strike 2
Day 8 of me talking about how good Mega Mewtwo Y EX until Cyrus & Palkia gets their EX.
Mega Mewtwo Y EX is super broken when is Palkia getting its EX HUH???? We all saw the datamines, the EX is coming. If not during the villain arc prelude event like last time, then WHEN????? /s
Third round: Will
Parameters: Physical Dmg. Reduction, Attack & Sp. Atk ↑ 1, No Status Conditions, Strength ↑ 1,  Sync Buff ↑ 5, Attack & Sp. Atk ↑ 3, No Stat Reduction, Ally Healing ↓ 5, Attack & Sp. Atk ↑ 5, Strength ↑ 3, Ally Move Gauge Max  -2, Strength  ↑ 6
Team Comp: 3/5 Sygna Suit Cynthia (Renegade) & Giratina, 5/5 Marley & Arcanine, 1/5 EX Lillie (Anniversary 2021) & Lunala with Critical Strike 2
I had pulled Elio & Primarina last week, but since I was running low on supplies to increase level cap I wasn't able to use him this week since he wasn't a high enough level to sustain itself. So, I decided to try and tank with Giratina this week since Shadow Force makes you immune to damage for a turn and it worked. It does rely on RNG for Will not to crit first turn in order to set up so Lillie can decimate the playing field. Marley's just there to boost speed.
Fourth round: Koga
Parameters: Physical Dmg. Reduction, No Status Conditions, Sync Buff ↑ 5, Attack & Sp. Atk ↑ 3,  No Stat Reduction, Ally Healing ↓ 5, Power ↑ on Hit 1, Gradual Healing at Start, Attack & Sp. Atk ↑  5, Power ↑ on Hit 2, Ally Move Gauge Max  -2, Strength ↑  6
Team Comp: 5/5 Hop & Zamazenta, 5/5 Winona & Pelipper, 5/5 Cyrus & Palkia with Critical Strike 1
Ok I goofed with this one because I intended on doing Koga's round before Will's, but by the time I realized my mistake I had already defeated Will. Oh well, you live and learn. While yes I do have Cynthia & Garchomp, she's not EX yet so I opted to brute force my way through with an off type match-up. I love getting flinches off with Winona so I can queue up more moves. Honestly, this just shows why we need an EX Cyrus.
Final round: Lance
Parameters: Special Dmg. Reduction, Attack  & Sp. Atk ↑ 1, Strength ↑ 1, Sync Buff ↑ 5,  Attack & Sp. Atk ↑ 3, Defense & Sp. Def ↑ 3, Max HP ↑ 2, No Stat Reduction, Ally Healing ↓ 5, Gradual Healing at Start, Attack & Sp. Atk ↑ 5, Ally Move Gauge -2, Strength ↑ 6
Team Comp: 5/5 Professor Sycamore & Xerneas with Vigilance, 5/5 BP Lt. Surge & Raichu, 1/5 EX N & Zekrom with Critical Strike 2
I had intended to use another stall team for the last round so I can take full advantage of the status condition parameter this week, but I felt like that's cheating and im only allowed one stall team per week so i put together an actual tream comp. Xerneas is so broken in any stage, regardless if you're using special attackers or not. It can heal itself, sustain itself, and increase the speed of your team with its sync move. I don't even know how I'll survive Champion Stadium without Xerneas. I debated on switching out BP Lt. Surge for regular Volkner so I can show off how good his beta unit is since his New Years outfit is running at the moment. But, I already flexed and showed him off during Classic Elesa's PokeFair so I decided to use the better electric support unit for this week. I'm waiting for regular N to rerun again so I can try to 2/5 or hopefully even 3/5 him, but having one copy of EX N & Zekrom ain't half bad on its own.

Don't Fear The Reaper
I've mostly stopped development on my honeypot. Instead, I'm just watching the logs for any unusual behavior. About 3 weeks ago, I noticed something odd. The number of SYN-scans against 23/tcp took a dramatic uptick. The ports under attack looks similar to the Mirai botnet, so this appeared to be yet-another Mirai variant. I've been profiling different types of botnets, and I call this one 'Botnet[E]'. (Botnet[A] refers to the network library used by Mirai.) Except... My honeypot records a lot of detail about the packet header. One of the things that I began recording last month is the TCP sequence number. And with these attacks, I kept seeing the same sequence numbers over and over. In this case, the TCP sequence number (a 4-byte value) was the exact same as the IP target address (a 4-byte value). This becomes a very distinct value for identifying this particular scanning bot. And based on the number of IP addresses during the scanning, this is a huge botnet.
Sequencing
The TCP header contains two fields for counters. There's the sequence number and the acknowledgment number. These two fields work together during the TCP 3-way handshake and data transfer:
Handshake step 1: SYN. During the initial connection, the client sends a SYN packet to the server. The SYN packet sets the initial sequence number. This could be literally any 4-byte value -- it just needs to be set. The ACK number is ignored and usually zeros.
Handshake step 2: SYN-ACK. The server responds with a SYN-ACK. The server sets it's own initial sequence number, and responds with the client's sequence number as the acknowledgment number. This tells the client that the server has synchronized with the client's counter.
Handshake step 3: ACK. The client responds with an ACK. The sequence number should not change, and the server's sequence number becomes the acknowledgment number. This tells the server that the client has synchronized with the server's counter.
Data transfers. After the handshake, both sides start exchanging data. The server's sequence number increases by one byte for every byte of data that the server sends to the client. And the client's sequence number increases by one byte for every byte of data that the client sends to the server. The corresponding ACK packets tell each side how much data has been received and whether to resend data that got lost.
Different systems use different methods to initialize these TCP sequence numbers:
Old operating systems. Old systems would initialize it based on something like the current time, current uptime, or just use an incremental counter. The time-based initializers were fun, because you could tell the system's time or how long the computer had been up since the last reboot just by looking at the initial sequence number. However, if an attacker can guess what the sequence number will be, then they could hijack the TCP connection. For this reason, most systems have moved away from time-based initial values. Today, time-based initial values are still the case with some embedded devices.
Modern operating systems. Most of today's computers use an effectively random value to defeat information leakage.
Scanners. Tools like masscan and zmap are capable of scanning the entire Internet in under an hour. They can sling out a huge number of packets. Of course, they don't want to store every outgoing packet sequence number. Instead, they just want to send out SYN packets and see what (if anything) responds. These tools initialize the sequence number with a pre-determined value. For example, the initial sequence could be the 1st four bytes of hash(entropy XOR target IP address XOR port number). This makes the sequence numbers look random, but the scanner can tell when a valid response is received. (This stops jerks from flooding the scanner with fake SYN-ACK responses. Since you don't know the sequence number, the fake SYN-ACK is ignored.)
Botnets. Different botnets use different initial sequence values. One botnet that I see often uses an initial sequence number of 0x00000000. Another botnet uses a two-byte value, leaving the first two bytes zero. For example, seq=00000e44 and seq=0000441a. And a different botnet leaves the last two bytes zero: seq=0a4d0000 and seq=467e0000. In these cases, it's not just that it's a botnet. I can tell the botnet family based on the sequence number format.
And that brings us back to this new botnet. It initializes the TCP sequence number with the target's IP address. For example, if the SYN packet is sent from 201.52.93.90 to 182.231.151.141, then the initial SYN packet's sequence number will be 0xb6e7978d (that's 182.231.151.141 written in hex, or 3,068,630,925 in decimal). This is actually kind of brilliant. Each bot slings out packets and doesn't store any information. When a response comes back, the botnet can identify the sender by the sequence number. Moreover, if the response sequence number doesn't come from the sender's network address, then they can use this information to partially map out network addresses. (Although more likely, they just use it to check if the SYN-ACK is valid, or ignore it altogether and just use the SYN-ACK packet's sender address.) Of course, since I know the sequence number, I can be a jerk and send back SYN-ACK responses for arbitrary addresses. I just need to wait until my honeypot receives one of these scans. At that point, I know the IP address of an infected IoT devices. Then I can start sending back fake packets with fake IP addresses but valid sequence numbers in the ACK field. This will make the botnet think that lots of systems are vulnerable, even when they aren't. Each node in the botnet may end up spending a lot of time attacking ghosts. This either slows down the scan as they attack nothing, or fills the attack queue with garbage. And yes, I've been doing this for a week. Here's my script:
#!/bin/bash # Attack back ip2dec () { local a b c d ip=$@ IFS=. read -r a b c d <<< "$ip" printf '%d\n' "$((a * 256 ** 3 + b * 256 ** 2 + c * 256 + d))" } tail -f /var/log/honeypot.log | grep --line-buffered seq=ip.src | sed -u -e 's@^.*honeypot: @@' -e 's@\[@ @g' -e 's@\]@ @g' -e 's@/tcp@@g' | # My logs include source address, source port, destination address, and destination port # The source is the botnet. while read src sport junk dst dport junk ; do # Send 10 fake responses loop=0; while [ $loop -lt 10 ] ; do # Don't use the real destination; select one at random. # Or I could loop over specific addresses I want the botnet to attack. dst="$((RANDOM%6)).$((RANDOM%6)).$((RANDOM%6)).$((RANDOM%6))" # Derive the sequence and acknowledgment numbers from the addresses. seq=$(ip2dec "$src") ack=$(ip2dec "$dst") # Get the date for logging date=$(date +"%Y-%m-%d %H:%M:%S %Z") echo -n "$date " # SYN goes from src to dst #echo "SYN from $src:$sport[$ack] to $dst:$dport" # SYN-ACK goes from dst to src echo "SYN-ACK from $dst:$dport[$seq] to $src:$sport[$ack]" # use hping3 to send the fake packet hping3 -q -i 1u -c 1 -a "$dst" -L "$ack" -M "$seq" -t 242 -s "$dport" -p "$sport" -S -A "$src" > /dev/null 2>&1 ((loop=$loop+1)) done done
My honeypot is currently receiving scans from this botnet about 1-3 times per minute. And it is rare to see the same infected IP address twice. Nearly all are scans for 23/tcp. There is a small percent of scans for 22/tcp, 2323/tcp, and other ports.
Comparing Results
Good science means that results can be repeated, and the same results can be determined using different means. I've been communicating with Troy Mursch from Bad Packets. He runs a honeypot but doesn't use the same tools as me. (I wrote my own tools, so I'm very certain that we don't have the same setup.) Every now and then, I'll send him a query like, "Are you seeing any activity from xx.xx.xx.xx?" or he'll ask if I just received a flood from yy.yy.yy.yy. (It's really entertaining when the initial response is "no", but a few hours later it changes to "yes -- they just showed up.") Troy and I began comparing notes and findings with regards to packets with this specific fingerprint. We were seeing the same volume of traffic, same types of source hosts, and even the same ports being scanned. (The vast majority of scans were for 23/tcp. A distant second came 22/tcp, then 2323/tcp, and other common IoT ports.) Troy has a write-up of his findings at "EnGenius Routers Found in Reaper Botnet with Distinct Network Fingerprint". Going back through our logs: I had been seeing these scans since mid-September. At least, that's when I started tracking sequence numbers. Troy traced through his logs and found this same profile dating back to early May 2017. We compared the observed source addresses and, amazingly, had very little overlap. That means that this botnet is massive. Something in the "millions of infected hosts" range. We had been working on tracking this botnet for about a week, when the news broke. There's a new big botnet in town. Checkpoint Research calls it "IoTroop", but other security companies are calling it "Reaper" or "IoT_reaper". Like the Mirai botnet, Reaper infects IoT devices. But there's a twist. With Mirai, it just looked for default logins on IoT devices. Reaper also uses a few known exploits to compromise the IoT devices. As Andy Greenberg at Wired described it, "It's the difference between checking for open doors and actively picking locks." As soon as I read the description and the timeframe for when it appeared, I became convinced that Troy and I had been looking at packets from Reaper. It's the same timeframe, same volume, and same types of devices. As botnet infections go, this one is bad because of the sheer size of it. If the owner of this botnet were to use it for a DDoS attack, the results would be enough to take Brian Krebs offline. (And Brian's been able to withstand some really massive DDoS attacks.)
Detecting Reaper
Most of the reports about the Reaper botnet lack details for detecting an infection. The folks over at Radware have a detailed report that lists ports that Reaper scans. However, I'm not able to validate their findings. For example, they say:
The first wave consists of SYN scans on TCP ports in the following order: 20480, 20736, 36895, 37151, 22528, 16671, 14340, 20992, 4135, 64288, 45090, 21248, 21504, 31775, 39455, 47115 and 42254.
I'm just not seeing this in my logs. For example, in the last five days, my honeypot has seen five (5) scans against 20480/tcp. All five of those had the TCP SYN sequence set to the destination IP address. In contrast, during that same timeframe my logs identified 4,212 scans from Reaper -- and most were against 23/tcp. Perhaps Radware is talking about how Reaper appears on the infected system, or how Reaper attacks a vulnerable system, and not how it looks as it tries to spread across the Internet. I'm also seeing a much wider range of infected devices that those listed in the other researcher reports. To test devices, I just waited for the IP address to scan me, and then I checked for a publicly accessible web server. For example, I saw a scan from 168.167.177.180 and saw an infected airOS router. (You can tell it's infected because of the code error at the top of the page.) And here's an accessible TripMate Nano that scanned my honeypot: NOTE: It defaults to filling in the username as 'admin'. I didn't type that. The TripMate Nano scan was shortly followed by a D-Link router: For network administrators who want to detect infected hosts from this new botnet: Look for SYN packets where tcp.seq==ip.dst. If you see a match, then the ip.src denotes an infected address. Either the device at that address is infected, or something behind that NAT router is infected. Source: http://ift.tt/2zS84di

Fact Check Friday #3
Welcome back to Fact Check Friday, our series of bite-sized media literacy tips.
These are simple, quick tips that, added one at a time to your browsing habits, will help you become a master disinformation spotter. Be patient with yourself and others - building these skills takes time!
Here’s tip #3 (repeated in the text below if reading images is not your thing.)
Tumblr media
...and how does that make you feel?
News outlets (and “news outlets”) are not above manipulating your emotions for clicks.
We all know about clickbait headlines. They might represent the situation as worse or better than it actually is, because strong emotions = more reach.
People are more likely to share or repeat something that provokes a reaction in them - and when we experience heightened emotions, we’re more likely to share and react without thinking.
If you read a headline, or a tweet, or a post that gives you an immediate visceral reaction - anger, despair, joy - take a moment to pause and analyze before sharing.
More Info:
This tip is a little tricky because it requires a good sense of self-awareness, which can take some time to build.
Start by familiarizing yourself with the physical reactions associated with your emotions. Does your face heat up when you’re angry? Does your stomach clench when you’re nervous? Often it’s easier to recognize a physical reaction and trace the emotion from there.
Once you’ve identified that someone may be attempting to manipulate your emotions, you can ask yourself some other questions:
If what you’re reading is a post from an unofficial blog, a tweet from someone you don’t know, or some unverified resource, do they cite their sources? Use tips 1 and 2 to evaluate those sources.
Analyze the language used. Is it deliberately polarizing or inflammatory? Are they using a lot of capitalization and exclamation points?
If it’s an image or quote, has it been taken out of context?
What does this source gain by making you feel what you’re feeling?
There is plenty of news out there that does deserve a strong reaction - but if you make sure of the facts you can make a deliberate decision about where to invest your emotional energy, rather than letting strangers on the internet do it for you.
When in doubt about a piece of news? Ask a librarian! We’re super good at spotting fakes and ID-ing credible sources, and we love answering questions.

Book Rec: Hollow Kingdom by Kira Jane Buxton
Tumblr media
Genre: ???
Notes: Humor & Zombies
Buxton's first novel is the funniest and most unique title I read this year.
Set against the backdrop of a zombie apocalypse, Hollow Kingdom celebrates the creativity and wonder of the natural world while poking reverent fun at the human world as seen from the perspective of a TV-watching, CHEETOS®-loving pet crow (S.T., which stands for a name I can't put in print) who realizes something is very, very wrong with his owner and best friend, Big Jim.
S.T. sets out with Dennis, Big Jim's lovable (but mostly useless, as far as S.T. is concerned) bloodhound, to see if he can set things right.
Buxton's sense of humor is clever and never becomes tiresome (though it is rife with profanity!) but this story also touches on deeper themes about the environment, the natural world, courage, and friendship.

Reblog if the phrases “Parental Oversight of Public Libraries” and “parental library review boards” immediately made you break out in hives.
And if that didn’t do it, maybe these will:
"Public librarians are explicitly barred by the statute from serving on such review boards, even if they are from the community.”
“Any public library who allows minors access to such “age-inappropriate materials” would have their funding stripped, and librarians who refuse to comply with the act can be fined and imprisoned for up to one year.”

Reader’s advisor Ian has picked out a few of his spooky favs depending on the level of scare you’re looking for!
The Thing (1982, rated R, adults)
John Carpenter's inimitable masterpiece of dread and suspense. A chilling (pun intended) alien horror adventure packed with blood-curdling special effects and legendary one-liners from Kurt Russell. Remember: it's not a dog!
Gravity Falls (2012-2016, rated TV-Y7, all ages)
A loving ode to Lovecraftian horror and a remarkably clever comedy all at once, this mystery series will delight and terrify kids and adults alike. Simply incredible.
Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated (2010-2013, rated TV-Y7-FV, kids)
A deeper, darker take on the classic Hanna-Barbara cartoon, Mystery Incorporated adds layers to these previously one-note characters while hilariously lampooning horror classics, old and new alike.

Read -> Reading -> To-Read
Tumblr media
Here’s what Griffith-Cal branch head Beth has been reading lately!
Just Read: Home Before Dark by Riley Sager
A wonderfully wicked ghost story!  This book grabs the reader from the start and there are plenty of twists so hang on for the ride!
Currently Reading: The Nickel Boys by Colson Whitehead
Devoured 159 pages in one day! This is quickly earning a spot on my "must reads."  Set in the Jim Crow South, the reader will feel every ounce of fear, hope, pain and anger as they experience Whitehead's novel.
To Read: Broken Lands by Jonathan Maberry
I added this to my TBR list because...sometimes you just need a zombie book and the author is pretty well-known for being excellent at delivering just that.
