idia

— now, i decided to base these thoughts on their respective valentine’s day cards..and oh boy is idia a LOSER!! respectfully. maybe. this man is going full discordian mode when he texts you and honestly when he texts in general.

— you know that one friend who sends one text message and all of a sudden you have to spend an hour and a half trying to decipher their message because it has three grammatical errors, twenty six misspells and eight random letters mixed in there? even though it was a five word message?

— that’s him. ESPECIALLY when he’s texting you while he’s gaming, unless he chooses to voice call ( a blessing sent from heaven if you don’t want to struggle when communicating with him ).

— he’s just a fast typer, he defends himself while you wipe a single tear from your eye trying to figure out how “btw can you bring me some sweets?” turns into “n btwcan u like brjgn me sm swts n. stuff thxxx” ( but worse, because..it’s idia and he’s probably gaming if he’s asking you this question. also i purposefully avoided looking at my screen for that ).

ortho

— now i imagine his texts are significantly more normal and relaxed..unlike his BROTHER!! his texts to you are far more polite and he uses big words often, which is such bot behavior tbh. i know he struggles with captchas.

— but overall, he is indeed a relatively normal typer, a sweetheart as usual. i also imagine that he talks in more simplistic sentences as well, and doesn’t really do run-on, if that makes sense. it makes his text messages a little longer if he’s typing paragraph style, but otherwise he’s doing just fine getting the message across.

— now he is naturally curious and relatively attentive too, so he’s probably going to ask you about your own texting style. actually, he might try to implement your texting style into his, if he’s interested enough. it’ll probably only last for a week or so though, before he’s back to his usual kindergarten homework texting style.

malleus

— social media? nah..he’s “texting” you through carrier pigeon. be sure to keep your window open, because whenever he feels like it, he’s going to send you a scroll type of letter that details whatever message he’s trying to convey at the time, and it’s a throwback. a throwback to like..the medieval era.

— whenever he does send these letters, his dictionary of words is sophisticated and informative, not a single itty bitty detail left out. it sort of feels like he’s sending the prologue of a book to you, when he does this. i can imagine him writing it all down with a pure black quill pen, too. and i bet that the first letter to the first word of each letter is also in cursive and enlarged like in those fantasy books, for some odd reason.

— and he’ll send the longest message as well, and you might think that he’s describing to you the entire plot of a trilogy where each part is the length of the dictionary, but no, it’s to describe how upset he is that he had to eat an entire cake by himself, or that he’s sick or something. he’s like me when i’m writing an english essay..except he does it with no purpose to it.

— when you do inevitably send him a reply, he gets all excited too. even if he sends a letter that starts with “Dear friend, I write to you to tell you a tale of a most quizzical recent events that has affected me of late, that has stumped me to no end..” and all you reply with is a scroll and a carrier pigeon as well, and he opens it up only to see an enlarged “K.” in the middle with your signature at the bottom. yeah, he’s completely fine with that. makes him happy.

silver

— someone else who is normal with their texts, on the normal scale would probably be ranked by ortho, if not normaler. he’s just your average texter i suppose, other than the fact that every now and then he adds this really long descriptive word that you have to look up in the dictionary to understand, and it’s completely unexpected.

— he’ll send you a message, and it’ll go “also, did you see the others in class today? i found it odd, they were more lackadaisical than usual.” like. for no reason whatsoever. random big word. not too bad though, so points for him. also, i imagine him to type in all lowercase just like me. i don’t know, i just see him doing it.

— on that note of random things i see him doing, and also random things in general, i see him texting you, and then randomly telling you this fun little fact he happens to know about whatever the topic is. “would you like to stop be the equestrian club? a domestic horse can run up to thirty miles per hour, you know.”

sebek

— hard to say if he’s using a phone, or if he’s talking to you via carrier pigeon like malleus..but i’m leaning towards him using a phone. actually, he might do both, and it depends on how mood how you receive the message. but, let’s just talk about how he tends to talks to you on social media for now.

— but still, no matter whether it’s social media or carrier pigeon, he’s a relatively dry person sadly. when he texts you, it’s rather simplistic, though unlike ortho he does tend to do run-ons. i think the only thing saving him from being totally dry is the fact that he actually uses emojis. his favorite emojis..are probably “😡” and “👍”, and you can take a guess when and why he uses them.

— his messages might actually come off as a little mean every now and then, but i doubt he’ll even realize it 99% percent of the time unless you tell him, and he’ll try his best not to text like that again, but it’s hard for him to stray from his usual texting style..introduce him to tone tags, those are probably a life saver for him.

— he does forget to use them every now and then though, so he haphazardly adds them after he sends the message. don’t worry though, he’s learning and figuring things out! slowly but surely, slowly but surely. doing his best.

lilia

— the old man himself! unlike malleus and sebek, he is of course 100% using a phone. though nonetheless, that old age is not subtle at all, even if he is gaming..not like he’s trying to be, the idea of being subtle probably doesn’t even come to him. surprisingly, other than his old man text tone, he’s a relatively normal texter.

— and by relatively normal, i mean normal for when you’re talking to your grandpa who was there for when the telegraph was still a popular use of communication. except..he was there for forms of communication much, much earlier than that.

— he regularly uses somewhat outdated words and then right next to said outdated word is like, the latest social media lingo that was created like a week ago. a very scary combination of i do say so myself. he could be gaming with you and all of a sudden through the chat logs he’ll text you something along the lines of, “Though, i must say..his ass is NOT making it😂😂”. a jumpscare almost every time.

13. What is a subject matter that is incredibly difficult for you write about? What is easy?

I'm not the right person for a like medical mystery hurt/comfort. Too close to home on that one (sorry to all the people who wanted an angsty follow up to Alone, just not my thing). I think a lot of what I write at this point comes pretty easily. Feelings! Longing! Being stuck! All that works well for me these days.

14. Do you lend your books to people? Are people scared to borrow books from you? Do you know exactly where all your “lost” books are and which specific friend from school you haven’t seen in twelve years still possesses them? Will you ever get them back?

I'll only loan ones that I'm not particularly attached to. And yes, Michelle does still have my copy of Finlay Turner is Killing It, thanks for asking!! (BTW please read this book, it's so funny, it's about a mystery writer who gets mistaken for a hitwoman and someone hires her to kill their husband LMAOOOO)

18. Choose a passage from your writing. Tell me about the backstory of this moment. How you came up with it, how it changed from start to end. Spicy addition: Questioner provides the passage.

Since you didn't pick one for me, here's one from Advice that I think is interesting:

Kate purses her lips, trying to remember. Everything before feels like a dream, like she only woke up to the harsh real world the day the phone rang.

“I was young,” she finally offers. “I think…you never think it’ll happen to you, you know? It’s always someone else—someone else’s brother, someone else’s child. Every time I’d see something in the news, or hear about something happening in Iraq, it didn’t feel real. It was like seeing a car wreck on the freeway; you’re like, ‘oh that’s so sad, I hope they’re okay’ but it never feels like it has anything to do with you, even though you’re driving on the same highway. It was always like, ‘that couldn’t happen to him. He’ll be fine.’”

This is a much bigger block of dialogue than I usually write. I try to never go more than two sentences without a break for an action beat, because people don't tend to talk like that. People tend to talk in shorter bursts, waiting for a listener to chime in or nod, say "oh man," something. Monologues aren't actually that common, and I think they're boring to read. Kate in particular doesn't ramble, doesn't say much. Her lines tend to be short and weighty, all of her words very purposefully chosen ("I just think we need to keep things, you know. Compartmented." That's so short but says SO MUCH.) So here I was pushing myself to the limit of how much she might talk, especially in such a tense and emotionally fraught moment, when she's trying not to cry in front of Jane.

I'm happy with how it turned out because I think it's still one thought strand, not a ramble of several connected thought stands that would need an action tag or break for an emotional beat. She isn't changing beats during the monologue, it's just that this thought strand includes an analogy that she has to explain.

I went back and forth on how to bring that in, if this would be one dialogue chunk or a few, but ultimately this is where I ended up and I'm happy with it.

Oh I have heard things about Going Seventeen. Maybe once I listen to a bit more of their music, I then like to watch dance practices and stages, and THEN I'll give the reality show a go. Thank you for the recommendation though, and the song recs are definitely going on my listen to later list.

It's really interesting how our various biases feel different to us and sort of serve a different purpose, if you will. I don't want to give myself away so I'm going to be purposefully vague here, but one of my Ateez biases is so unbelievably attractive to me, mostly physically but also some major parts of his personality too, so I guess he's what you could call my type although i never really thought I had one hahaha. And another bias I feel like he's literally me, because we're so similar in many ways, but I also feel the need to protect him as well, and perhaps it's because I feel that strong connection to him.

Ah, so Wooyoung has joined the bias line officially then? What about your logbook series, you're going to have to add him to that too 🤣🤣 I agree, he really is the definition of a bias wrecker. If you were ever to change your url to a combination of your Ateez biases instead, it would be so long hahahha woohwayungi maybe?

I think I'm starting to get some ideas for what to make you. I really want it to be something you'll love so I'm putting a lot of thought into it. If you had to choose a favorite era for all four of your boys, what would you pick? Is there any particular styling you like on them? Or a favorite hair style/colour? No detail is too insignificant!

Yeah.. Wooyoung is officially there, he has his tag and is mentioned on the pinned post BUT he is slightly under the three og ones (at least for now…); When I had my “click” moment of realizing and accepting he was a bias as well I did stop think about what I was going to do with the logbook series hahah But for now I decided to keep it just with the tall line… Wooyoung already has a lot of content (Hwa too but 🤫). Maybe in some where he has a way too iconic scene I’ll add it as a bonus hahahah

Ooohhh good question! With svt I made sure to use the first, second and third syllable of each of their names, but I with four biases that wouldn’t work hahahahah I guess to follow the same logic I can start the url with “Jeong” to represent both Yunho and Wooyoung since in hangul they do have the same surname (and I’ll go with Yunho’s romanization since he was here first hahah).. so the url would either be jeongseonggi or jeongminhwa 😂😂

I technically also have to redo my header and add baby Woo… but I lost the original file and right now I’m being lazy 😗✌️ hahahah

And AAHH you are getting me excited for my gift!! Hahah I’m also really excited to learn who you are!!!!

So for the looks and eras…. I’ll try to be concise; I’ll give two hairtyles/two eras for each hahaha (btw this reminds me of Jazzy’s little Christmas project in which I absolutely clogged the tags of the post with some of my favorite looks of only TWO biases btw and then later saw that everyone was going for one specific thing… 🙃 guess I got carried away, I just wanted to give her options!! I hope I didn’t make her feel like she had to use it all hahaha)

• So for Hwa… Pink Hwa of course and whenever he has the ashy/grey blond hair… So Wave and Fever Part 1 eras 😘👌 (no matter the color, I feel like the best styling for him is the under cut) and I have to mention the MOST PERFECT THING I’VE EVER SEEN: The look with the cropped suit for the A to Z album... • For Yunho his Ethernal Sunshine/Fever Epilogue blonde hair give me major golden retriever vibes so... yeah hehehe and his styling for Immitation (which I guess is pretty basic so is also the styling for various eras but like) major boyfriend vibes. Honorable mention to Rhytm Ta Yunho <3 • So, picture this, I started biasing Mingi when he was still on hiatus based on “old” content, so for the longest time the standard image I had of him was his red hair, ginger Mingi holds a very special place in my heart; Then he came back full power with the grey hair!! Which for me had its peak performance during the Fever Epilogue era (wolf Mingi 🫶) as you can see Fever Epilogue was a VERY GOOD comeback for me, it is also my favorite album overall Honorable mention: whenever he wears glasses • And finally Woo! One word: THANXX!!! give me the bandanas and the ponytail!! YAS and OF COURSE Oreo Woo (or as I like to call it: Raccoon Woo)... Kingdom last half, AOTM... this look was superior in so many ways (I also have a post about my favorite looks of his so...)

i purposefully dont have any pictures of myself on my blog!! ive posted pictures of myself here before but i delete them after a while! Not impossible that theyre referring to an actual picture of me- though, they might be talking about just like, the way i draw my hair!!

Bakugou isn’t afraid of bees

Request: Would Bakugou with an s/o the complete opposite of him be a better request? Like he has a partner whose shy, soft, doesn't curse, cute,etc?

A/N: soo, this is long overdue, and I'm really sorry for that! But I have a lot going on, family drama, school and I'm just going through a lot, and I love writing, it helps me cope with stress, but all these things happening just make me slower, I'm sorry for that :(

Thank you for requesting this, btw, I'm not tagging you because last time I tagged anyone I got shadowbanned 🤡 so I'm avoiding tagging people like the plague, but thank you so so much for requesting! Hope you like it 💕

Synopsis: going swimming with the Bakusquad seemed like a good idea, but it was always guaranteed to end with some kind of a disaster, also, Bakugou is afraid- ow, sorry! Bakugou dislikes bees.

Bakugou had told you, he had told you that it was a bad idea to go.

He knew it, they did, and even you did too, but you went anyway.

But it wasn't your fault that you just wanted to spice up your summer break, and going swimming with the Bakusquad seemed like a perfect idea!

And you knew Bakugou wouldn't make you go there alone, especially if you wore your go-to swimwear that you knew just looked good on you. The one he liked oh-so-much.

"No fucking way, Y/N." He told you the moment he saw you standing at the entrance of the room with your beach bag hanging from your shoulder.

"Oh, it's going to be fiiine," you told him with an innocent smile, emphasizing the last word. "Kami-kun told me that they found this small cliff we could jump from and- h-he told me its only 5 meters tops, not even a cliff, really!" You corrected yourself when you heard a growl you were a bit too familiar coming from him.

"Kami-kun?" He repeated. "Kami-kun's gonna be there, huh? And when you're wearing that?"

"Well, yeah! He even told me they'll make camp if the weather allows it, if not, he told me not to worry cause he'll make a fire and have a drink of two, you know." You kept talking with an innocent smile he usually adored, but it only made him want to shake some sense into you at the moment.

"No," He told you through his teeth, voice dropping an octave and sending chills down your spine, his blood boiling with something he didn't want to name (jealousy), his right eye started to twitch as he thought of the many memories he had of lightweight Kaminari.

He started walking towards you, the look in his eyes reminding you of a wolf that was looking at its prey.

"Don’t fucking go there, especially without me." He was suddenly too close to you, well aware of the widening of your eyes as he hovered on your frame purposefully, making you feel small underneath him. He smiled when you inhaled a shaky breath when he smiled, his lips almost touching yours, but not quite.

"That's no good, I already told them I'm coming." You whispered with a smile, your eyes fixated on your hands, "Kami-kun was so happy to learn I was coming, though he did sadden a bit when he heard you couldn't." Bakugou was well aware of how your eyes widened when his hand touched your cheek, sliding down to your chin to tilt it towards his face. He knew you couldn't maintain eye contact when he looked at you like that and that caused a warm feeling to spread in his chest, Bakugou would never admit it, but he adored your shyness.

"Well then," he told you as he backed up just a bit, "tell him he doesn't have to be all that sad since I changed my mind."

To say that Bakugou was protective of you would be an understatement. His hand was attached to your waist, sometimes even sliding down just a bit to tease you every now and then, causing your face to heat up.

He didn't even let you go when Kirishima and Kaminari had hugged you to greet you, growling threateningly when he thought Kaminari hugged you a little too long.

Despite the act he had on of the threatening, scary boyfriend, though, you knew all he would do was glare and frown till you kissed him on the cheek and told him he was your one and only.

Still, you were grateful he actually came with you since you knew he wasn't a big fan of the sea and what came with it.

He especially despised mosquitoes, something he had named 'the curse', and he was right to do so, too, making it the most hilarious thing you had ever seen.

An 'unnatural phenomenon' as Kiri liked to call it, was that the mosquitoes loved Bakugou. Even though he always had a mosquito spray on him and renewed it almost every hour, it never worked, and he often got bitten at least 20 times a day. He did everything he could to try and stop them from biting him (except for killing them since he hated killing mosquitoes) Bakguou always had you applying cream to his bites he often turned into wounds because he couldn't help himself but itch them.

(Still, you had to admit that the curse came in handy time to time since whenever Bakugou was around, nobody else ever got bitten.)

He also hated sand, hated getting wet, was too pale, and usually got burned very easily, and most of all, he hated bees. He wasn't afraid of them, Bakugou Katsuki wasn't afraid of anything, but it was safe to say that he disliked the black-yellow striped creatures with every fiber in his body.

So even though he said he was just there because he didn't trust his dumbass friends, you knew it was because he could tell you wanted him there, and he came, despite hating almost everything. But he didn't hate you, and that was enough.

"Get the fuck away from me you little shit!" He screamed right next to your ear, making you wince and giggle. "Did you spray your-"

"Of course I fucking sprayed the bug repellant." He grumbled as he itched the newest bite, his voice was harsh and words hard, but you knew he wasn't mad at you and that it was unintentional.

"Don't itch it, Katsu." You told him, putting your hand on the bite to stop him from itching it anymore, and he could swear he felt the itch went away with your touch.

"I'll get back at you, you know, for forcing me to come here." He whispered into your ear, but you chose to play dumb and smile at him innocently. "But I didn't do anything, you said you wanted to come."

"Y/N, you know very well that-" His speech was interrupted by the joyful way your name was announced, a blonde skipping your way with a charming smile. "Y/N, hey, Y/N, come on, let's swim!" Kaminari cheered, holding you by the wrist and pulling you up to your feet, away from your fuming boyfriend.

"If you fucking touch her again-" He started to threaten but closed his mouth when he saw a frown forming on your lips. "Be careful, dumbass." He told you instead, trying and failing to suppress the smile that forced his lips upwards when you flashed him a cute smile.

"Don't' you wanna swim, too?" You asked sweetly, and he scoffed. "Of course, I don't wanna fucking swim." He muttered, playing with the grass he ripped from the ground. "Ah, the weather is so hot, a shame, Bakubro." Kaminari smiled and shrugged, but Bakugou noticed how his eyes widened when you took your beach clothes off and stood with your swimwear.

"Wh- Woah, Y/N, you look... really nice!" He told you, his cheeks turning into a rosy color, the interaction making the others turn to you, too. You felt your cheeks starting to heat up, not used to getting so much attention as you felt your boyfriend rise to his feet, his arm wrapping around your waist with a scoff.

"I thought you didn't want to swim." You told him with a giggle. "You seemed really opposed to the idea just then."

"I changed my mind, shitty woman." He growled. "Dunce face is right for once in his life, the weather is really fucking hot."

"Soo," Kaminari muttered, looking at his friends' faces. "Who's gonna jump first?"

He sighed when no one answered him. "Oh come on, you guys are no fun! Kiri? The manliest of our group, won't you be brave and-"

"Nope, sorry bro, I choose to live." He told him with an apologetic smile. "I'll go in second, though." He grinned cheekily, and Kaminari sighed. "How about you, Mina?" He tried his chance with the girl who avoided his eyes with all she had. "You're the most adventurous and the craziest, I'm sure only you can pull this off." He sent her a wink but was answered with another apologetic smile.

"Nope, same as Kiri here. I'll agree to jumping when I see somebody can survive."

"How about you, dunce face? Trying to force people to jump, but not brave enough to do it yourself?" Bakugou teased him, causing Kaminari's cheeks to take a red color. "I-it's not that I'm scared, but I just- just..." He looked at his friends for any kind of help, but they liked watching him squirm instead. You couldn't help but take note of just how close he stood near the edge, almost a push away. But, of course, you wouldn't push your boyfriend, would you?

"Huh, you have to be more clear, Kami-kun," he kept teasing. "Why won't you-"

"Ka-katsuki!" You suddenly interrupted the panic written on your face making his heartbeat to double. "Y/N, what's wrong?" He asked as he started to come towards you.

"N-no, don't move!" You told him, trying to ignore everyone looking at you like you lost your mind. "Katsuki, don't panic but there's a bee-" before you got to finished your sentence, Bakugou had already thrown himself off the cliff, a splash sound following it not long after.

Your friends watched you silently, trying to understand what the fuck just happened-except for Kirishima since he was well aware of Bakugou's dislike of bees-, it was your and Kirishima’s simultaneous laughs that caused Bakugou to understand you tricked him into jumping in.

"You know he's gonna get back at you for that, though, you know that right?" Kirishima asked with a mischievous smile and you bit your lip. "If he can get his hands on me, of course." You went near the edge, slightly leaning forward to take a peek at your boyfriend.

He looked so utterly annoyed, it was pure comedy for you, so you didn't notice Mina and Kirishima sneaking up on you as you kept teasing Bakugou. "And how is the water, Katsu?" You asked him with a teasing smile, though his answer was the last thing you heard before you were also wet.

"See for yourself!" He had cried out with a grin. The first thing you knew after you fell was the warm body of your boyfriend's. He had pulled you to himself almost immediately before you even got the chance to run away.

"So you think you can play with me like that and run away?" He asked, voice low on purpose to make you flushed. His face got closer to yours, his lips millimeters away from your trembling ones that didn't get used to the cold water yet. "Wh-what are you doing?" You exclaimed since you knew he hated PDA more than he did the sand, and he grinned, the kind of grin that caused your breath to hitch in your lungs. You combed back his heavy, spiky hair that fell on his face now instead.

"I'll-" you didn't get to hear what he was going to do since his little teasing game was interrupted by another loud splash that came from right next to you, making you scream with how close it was, Kaminari who had tried to jump right on top of you two. "That little shit-" Bakugou muttered as he swam towards him, his hands finding Denki's head the second he came out to surface, pushing him back in before he got the chance to breathe, and you felt bad for laughing at his screams that were coming from the underwater.

Thankfully, Kirishima didn't take long to jump and save the dumb blonde from your boyfriend's hands.

Mina was the last to jump, falling with a loud cry of victory, falling right on top of Kaminari, who was just rescued by Kirishima from Bakugou's hands, their odd friendship making you giggle and secretly long for something similar.

"So," Kaminari spoke when he was done coughing water, "who's ready for round two?"

"Ah, to have someone as adorable as her rub sunscreen to my back." Kaminari sighed loudly before he got Karate-chopped on the head. "Shut up if you don't want to get killed today." Kirishima told him, his eyes turning to the angry blonde that sat in front of you, taking a relieved breath when he realized Bakugou hadn't heard him.

Since Bakugou had jumped earlier than expected -thanks to you- he hadn't worn enough sunscreen, and it was your job to rub it on his skin and try and stop him from complaining about it the whole day.

"Ah, it fucking burns, dumbass." He hissed when your hand touched his bright red shoulders. "Oh, stop being a ba-" You bit your tongue before you got to finish that sentence when he glared at you. "I'm sorry, Katsu." You grinned cheekily, leaving the smallest peck on his shoulder. "There, feel better?"

He did, in fact, feel much better.

"Shut up." He told you, turning his face in front of him so you couldn't see his smile. He had the smile the whole time you rubbed soothing circles on his back and arms, smile turning to an immediate frown as you did his chest, but you knew how he was feeling, if not because you knew him well, his heartbeat gave it away.

He bit his lip, trying to suppress the sigh of relief as you massaged his muscles along with the sunscreen. "Okay, we're good to go." You told him when you finished, moving to stand up, but were held back when he got ahold of your wrist and pulled you back, making you fall on his lap.

"K-katsu, what are you doing?" You whispered, face burning with embarrassment. "I couldn't get my kiss back there." He told you with a smirk, his face getting closer to yours.

You held your breath, afraid his friends would see, but also longing for a kiss. You tilted your face upwards to receive his kiss, jumping in your place when you heard a loud whistle. "That's my boy!" Mina cheered, clapping, "get the girl!"

"For fucks sake, we can't even get a minute alone." He muttered angrily, standing up without kissing you. You held the hand he offered as you stood up, but he stopped you before you could even take a step.

"Watch where you're going, dumbass!" He told you angrily, his eyes locked on a shiny piece of glass right next to your foot. It wasn't the only one, either, big and small pieces of glass were scattered on the beach, some even being pushed back and forth by the waves.

"Don't swim anymore." He told you suddenly, eyes still on the pieces of glass. "Oh, I'll be fine!" You told him with an encouraging smile, but he didn't seem so persuaded. "I'll be careful, okay?" You told him one more time, knowing he couldn't resist your smile, and he gave in with a sigh not long after.

"It's getting dark already," he told you, "just one more jump."

You smiled with glee, running back to the water to tell them to go for another round of jumping.

What happened after that wasn't Bakugou's fault. He had told you not to go many times, but you did anyway, and now he had to deal with this.

You had jumped too close to the shore, the water wasn't as deep as it was supposed to. He could tell it wasn't the moment you touched the water and heard your muffled scream of pain. You surfaced the water with the look of pain on your face, and he hadn't missed a beat before he jumped down.

"What is happening? What happened?" He heard Mina's voices as he surfaced, his crimson eyes looking for your figure. "I think she hurt her leg." Kirishima answered, also getting ready to jump in. Bakugou spotted you trying to get back to the shore, holding your left leg as you pushed yourself with your arms and one leg.

He swam to you as fast as he could, his arms wrapping you and stopping your sloppy movements. You stilled as soon as you felt him pulling you to his chest, carrying you out of the water.

You were out of breath, and he could see the tears in the corner of your eyes. "What happened, baby?" He asked, concern laced in his voice when he saw the drops of blood dripping from your foot to the sand. "I- is it bleeding?" You asked, trying to hide the tremble in your voice. "I think I jumped on a piece of glass, or maybe a shell? I don't know."

"Okay, it's okay, don't worry about it, I'll take care of it." He soothed you, finding a good spot to put you. He felt your grip on him tightening when he tried to put you down. Thankfully, Kirishima had reached you as well, Bakugou nodded at him, receiving another nod from his best friend.

"I'll look at your leg now, okay?" Bakugou told you, and you nodded, biting your lip and trying not to cry. "Hey, Y/N?" Kirishima spoke, shielding your vision from seeing your leg. "Remember those brownies you made for us once? Did you know Mina tried to do them for us too, but ended up burning the kitchen?"

"Hey!" You heard Mina protesting as you laughed, she had also jumped and came to see what was happening. "You promised not to tell anyone!"

"Where's Kami?" You heard Kirishima whisper, and Mina smiled faintly. "You know he can't see blood."

"Should we go to a hospital?" Kirishima asked, and you whimpered. "No, no hospitals, I can't-"

Bakugou shook his head. "The cut's not that deep, we don't have to go to a hospital, but I have to clean and bandage this." Ksirihima finally moved away and you saw the cut on your leg. It was true, it wasn't very deep, but it still hurt a lot.

"We have to go back now," Bakugou told them as he swept you in his arms in bridal style and smirked at you. "'Im sorry," you told his friends, feeling bad about the fun ending because of you. "No, please don't say that!" Mina told you. "Yeah, we can do this again after you're well again!"

"Oh fuck no!" Bakugou growled, making you chuckle.

"Promise." Kirishima mouthed with a wink, and you chuckled again.

"You idiot." Bakugou muttered as he cleaned and finally wrapped the wound on your leg, pressing a kiss on your forehead. "I was fucking worried back there."

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to jump on a glass." You told him with a pout, making him sigh. "Whatever, I’m just telling you to be fucking careful." He sat on the couch you were laying on, careful not to disturb you, the way he was acting as if you were a fragile doll making you roll your eyes.

"Can you get under the blanket already?"

"You're just trying to cuddle, you needy idiot." He told you grumpily, snickering when you didn't protest. "Yeah, I might be a needy idiot, but I'm a wounded needy idiot."

"Don't call yourself an idiot, dumbass." He told you with a light flick on the forehead and making you laugh, smiling when you laughed, doing as you said and getting under the blanket, his arms wrapping you and pulling you on top of his chest.

"How are you feeling?" He asked after a few minutes. You snuggled deeper into his chest, eyes already heavy with sleep. "It hurts a bit." You admitted, knowing he could tell if you lied.

You felt a soft peck on your lips.

"There," he muttered, recalling the way you soothed his burns earlier that day. "Any better?"

You grinned. "Much better."

Okay, but I can definitely imagine Barb/Dia doing that. It seems like quite a possibility. But wasn't dying mc's own fault though? Like,, Barbatos did warn,,, unless he knew this was gonna happen and mc was DUMB AND STUPID enough to show up to everyone like: "hi." and possibly be dumb enough to get killed. Idk lol I forgot this part.

But what you said about Beel, I really like that. I think you even mentioned belphie guilt tripping you in your yandere hcs, and trying to make you completely depend on him?? I like those possibilities. Mammon though,, too soft. Like you said, they've robbed him a lot. He could have had so much potential to be a dark character. Similarly Levi omg.

The brothers are the embodiments of the 7 deadly sins, yet, tbh, I haven't seen too much of this side of them. At least, not like how'd I expect. Leviathan, for eg. Envy. I don't recall seeing his sin playing out anywhere except in the TSL Quiz thingy. I mean, it's been toned down a lot for someone who's the literal embodiment is envy. Idk I just don't feel he's like that? As from what I found: Envy (Latin: invidia), like greed and lust, is characterized by an insatiable desire. It can be described as a sad or resentful covetousness towards the traits or possessions of someone else. The struggle aroused by envy has three stages: during the first stage, the envious person attempts to lower another's reputation; in the middle stage, the envious person receives either "joy at another's misfortune"(if he succeeds in defaming the other person) or "grief at another's prosperity" (if he fails); the third stage is hatred because "sorrow causes hatred".[38]

Envy is said to be the motivation behind Cain murdering his brother, Abel, as Cain envied Abel because God favored Abel's sacrifice over Cain's.

They toned him down a little too much?? If this game has actually been inspired by demons and the 7 deadly sins, they could at least make them similar to the demons, at least in some way. I'm not that far into the game yet, but so far that I've played, I haven't seen much. As for a demon who is the embodiment of envy... I wish to see more. Levi is capable of A LOT.

Similarly, Satan. I sometimes wonder why is he even called the Avatar of Wrath when we hardly see it?? The only time I remember is him losing his calm during the whole body swap event. The fact Satan got mad at us refusing a pact actually made me think that he was the sin "wrath", but idk now. And the way it was said that "every smile is an act", I really like that concept too. But I don't think I've paid much attention to see where it played out. Sigh now Satan simps for cats like,,, please show me your dark/evil side sir.

The way you said Barb and Dia took part in a torture dungeon, I want to see more of that too. If they're demons, wouldn't they have caused SOME sort of bloodshed in a way? Especially if they're the strongest demons. Killing humans, eating them, or I even like to think doing the same to their own race. Torturing... Seems like something that every demon's blood would contain lmao, I'm not answering questions bye.

And I believe so too. The human seems like a pawn... I feel the demons would use humans for entertainment and their own purposes, while keeping up the facade of loving them. It's easy, since demons are manipulative. In that case, losing the human whether by their own hands or not would go like: "Oh well, that's unfortunate. Time for another human."

But if they REALLY did love you, I feel they'd still be manipulative. Like you said. Corrupting/spoiling the human so much to the point that they'd just HAVE to depend on them. I feel they'd also have yandere tendencies, or be "protective". Like, then I feel they really wouldn't want to let you go, despite knowing how much it can ruin your innocence.

I also don't like how everyone is after mc like "uwuwu master". The human is still a weakling despite having pacts, plus, the pacts aren't even demanding the human's soul or anything. I don't get why they let mc walk over them when they are CLEARLY much stronger? If I were a demon I'd do the opposite lmao. Making the human seem as if they are controlling me, but it's the opposite. I don't think a mere pact can change the fact that the demon's stronger,,, esp if the pact didn't demand the human's soul/life/whatever.

Oh btw in lesson...56 I think?? Just gonna tag this as a spoiler, but where for whatever reason Satan was "Sully" and the angel Lucifer asked him whether he liked books, let me just say I haven't even played it that far yet, but Satan going, "...Every book here is precious."

TOUCHED ME SO BAD LIKE. I DON'T KNOW IT REALLY MADE ME SOFT LMAO HE'S JUST SO okay I'll stop 🏃– 🍹

It's been a while since I've thought in-depth about the whole time traveling thing tbh, but couldn't Barbatos generally see the outcomes of the world?

We went back because they wanted to know who opened it, but considering Diavolo's the ruler of hell who turned Lilith human and Barbatos is basically the ruler of time & practically the universe I believe they already knew Lilith did it since it had to be "blood related" basically.

Barbatos also knows he can stitch together timelines and get of "extra" MCs essentially, so I believe he'd take that into account. I'm not saying MC getting killed was 100% part of the plan, but that they didn't care of MC was traumatized because they knew they could bring them back if necessary.

Imo the real goal wasn't to find out who did it, but to avoid breaking the family's bonds and devotion to Diavolo. The way it worked out was incredibly convenient and "coincidentally" a huge upgrade for Diavolo that kept the status quo and made him look good (or at least better) to Belphie and Beel without making Lucifer choose.

We see that kind of repeat later when Diavolo withdraws from the play because he was worried Lucifer wouldn't be as loyal. That's also why Lucifer gets that warning from Barbatos.

I think a huge part of why Levi's characterization is like that is because not enough people like him enough to tolerate it tbh. Even Mammon and Lucifer stans complain about the other characters hogging screen time and a lot of them admit to feeling bad for other fans. Levi is pretty much always second to last popularity wise.

I think he'd actually be more liked if they focused more on the jealously instead of making almost every interaction otaku/Ruri-chan related, but it's a bit too late now. I really, really hate how they just pretend otaku culture always existed and that's all Levi ever was. Like at least make him have an obsessive personality and be hyperfixated on novels instead of talking manga in an era before Japan even existed. It's so unbelievably lazy and really takes me out of the story.

Another problem is we only really see him interact with family or people that could enact severe consequences like Diavolo & Barbatos or people protected by the exchange program. He never gets a chance to shine or be cunning. The closest we get is things like him purposefully trying to ruin Christmas for random people online in his Christmas card. I think if he genuinely got jealous of MC and some random demon he would summon lotan almost instantly.

It's especially painful knowing what we had & being so excited to get more only for all of that to get dropped.

In an early devilgram, Be You, Satan gets jealous and feels bad about not having much unique to him and Lucifer comforts him in his own way when the others make it worse. Mammon is the most empathetic though ofc. They also talk about horror movies and Mammon says he doesn't find them scary (& the way it's framed sounds honest, idk if it's a retcon or a lie,) and Satan says "I'm sure we've all witnessed plenty of real-life horrors worse than anything in the movies."

Then when Lucifer asks for a time when he was really angry Satan first casually then gleefully talks about torturing a family to death because a kid set him up to get scolded by their parents. Meanwhile the brothers act wary of him and worry about him getting out of control while Lucifer tells everyone to take cover for their own safety with a smile. Satan happily talks about them begging for their lives and says he wishes they saw it too.

Levi also says he hates hearing about people being happy, but likes hearing about the negative things. While Asmo and Mammon are freaking out he also calls Satan cool. Which shows at least a little bit of his envy for once. Satan also says just the aura of his rage is usually too much for humans which is also interesting.

But back to Diavolo and Barbatos, I don't hate how the whole torture thing isn't super open, it makes sense imo, but I would like to see hints of them hiding it. Especially if Satan or even attic Belphie was the one you could go to to learn more about it. If anyone would defy Diavolo for that it'd be them trying to bring Lucifer down with them, or even just Satan rewarding the hunt for knowledge and not understanding the human psyche fully.

Imagine if instead of a paper thin lie about being human we got a Belphie manipulating us by pretending he was locked up because he was against hurting humans and the whole exchange program was a scam? Or at least if he told us things no one else would about Diavolo that were true so we wouldn't trust him and etc. That's the angle I'm going with in my fanfiction at least, the original story is just so lazy and boring imo.

Yeah I'm not a huge fan of how they handled pacts either, especially considering they don't even get MC's soul. It's way too one-sided to the point where I don't believe someone like Satan would ever offer it, even if the first offer was a trick and he'd get your soul or something. I agree on the whole manipulation thing too, like how is it partnership if one side has complete control over the other?

Even just making it so that demons can fight against if they really don't want to do something like harming each other and having it corrupt MC would make it a million times better.

And that's so sweet, thank you! You've made my days a lot brighter too. Not much makes me happier than infodumping and complaining about Obey Me rn lol.

I really liked Satan's line there too, although I did wish he had more a reaction to everything tbh. That whole section felt a bit too easy imo though, like I kept waiting for it to all go to shit or something. I am glad they went back into more story-based chapters too. I hope they keep that trend and expand on it.

I was tagged (ages ago, I’m aware - I’m so sorry for being so late!) by @marvelsaos (thank you btw!! <3 )

1. Black Sails - the list is in no particular order of preference, but I think that this first place is just the right position for this show for me - without exaggeration I think there has never been another show able to blow my mind and steal my heart like Black Sails did... Wild times they were, when it aired, and despite some lows (and some ohohohoh damn, it’s still very hard to accept them - I’m only saying ELEANOR GUTHRIE just to mention one) - but I suppose it’s kinda natural to have them in every show and fandom - I miss those times, at least the good ones! :p

2. Galavant - I don’t think I can express properly in words how much I adore this little show, it’s my haven whenever I need to get a good laugh and cheer myself up, and it holds a very special place in my heart, it’s so freaking lovely and hilarious and I STILL CAN’T BELIEVE IT WAS CANCELLED I’LL NEVER BE OVER THAT TRAVESTY - for all the times I say this I might as well get it written on my gravestone lol...

3. Brooklyn Nine Nine - ohohoh I love this show, so witty and funny - I usually am not drawn to comedies but I’m glad I made an exception for this show when I started watching because I would have missed out one of my favourites!

4. Firefly - another show that we lost too soon imho - such a shame we got to have only one season and there wasn’t even a chance to get proper closure with a final episode or even a movie BECAUSE APART FROM THAT SEASON THERE WAS NOTHING ELSE OKAY yes I’m deliberately choosing to ignore the movie not really sorry about it!!

5. Pushing Daisies - why do I have the tendency of getting attached to short-lived shows? Couldn’t I get obsessed with Grey’s Anatomy or something? XD Anyway, this adorable - despite the kind of morbid themes it had :p - show deserved so much better - we, the world deserved more of this little gem...

6. Penny Dreadful - ah, the pain... I’m including this show because yes, I was obsessed with it for a while and yeah, in general I would consider it quite highly on my list, even if there were things that annoyed me, but I would have probably kind of overlooked those flaws if it hadn’t been for that OUTRAGEOUS FINALE THEY DECIDED TO COME UP WITH!!!! One of the most idiotic and horrifying endings I have ever witnessed, I am still disgusted and I will never EVER forgive John Logan for the hideous treatment he reserved to my beloved Vanessa... DISHONOR ON YOU, DISHONOR ON YOUR COW, JOHN!!!! You might have noticed that it’s hard for me to let go of things, even if they happened ages ago lol

7. Star Trek TOS (I know this scene is from one of the movies - one of my favourites :3 - but it’s still part of the saga, no?! (I’m sorry but I saw it and couldn’t resist, it was that or one of those ridiculously flamboyant Kirk’s fighting moves! XD Ok, all right, I’ll have both because I can lol:

Anyway, this show was another nice parenthesis in my watching experience and despite all the silliness - and because of it, but this show is more than that, and maybe that’s also a reason for why I love it, even with all its flaws it sometimes was way ahead of its time in many aspects - I’m still rather fond of it! :’)

8. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. - first of all, yes, this gif basically summarizes my experience with this show, I chose it on purposefully! :p I’m pissed at this show because for some reasons it is truly great and entertaining and has good reasons to get me engaged and attached but damn it if it went too far on certain instances; in particular those last two seasons are still quite hard to digest for me, and I fear it has lost the sparkle that I found when I started watching and fell in love with it... Anyway, I still think it should make this list, so there it is!!

9. Blackadder (I mean, it is already worth a peek for this little flower right above, don’t you think?! XD Anyway, this was first of all a nice opportunity to appreciate Rowan Atkinson beyond Mr. Bean, since when I started whaching this I only knew him for that part and was pleasanty surprised... Even more so when I found out the cast included Stephen Fry, Hugh Laurie, Miranda Richardson, and other actresses and actors making appearances that I recognized!! And in general I love this kind of humour so it definitely won a place in this list!!

10. A bit of Fry and Laurie - when I found out that Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie had done a show together, I just knew I couldn’t miss it!! I’m afraid because of me not being British I may not able to fully enjoy and appreciate all the jokes that are on this show, but what I understand is enough to laugh my ass off watching these two amazing idiots!!

2) I blocked them all at this point so I’m done with them, I did my job

3) as far as I know, warning people that some people who pretend to be worrying about abuse victims’s well-being are actually assholes who’d purposefully trigger abuse victims who don’t agree with them isn’t creating wank, it’s making sure people know they’re toxic assholes before engaging with them should they choose to do so

4) I made that post, roosebolton said they didn’t even care to read it, I told them to have a good life and I blocked them, I was done, but guess why in the last half hour I got, hmmm, three anons getting on my case, same as last time when I said I was done I got all of roosebolton’s and we know who else’s friends getting on my case

unpopular opinion here, I think people should be able to ship what they want without having people harass them over fiction. I don't like j@lec or cl@lec, but I also don't like the way people treat those shippers. Fiction is not reality, and if people are triggered or uncomfortable, all they have to do is block tags. You have to curate your own content. There is also no reason to post in tags to cause drama and bully people. Doing what was done to you is not right, nor will it ever be.

First of all, did you guys agree to send me these together? Because I don’t think this was the same person (nice concluding lines, btw) and those asks were sent almost at the same time. Very suspicious indeed.

As for the content of the asks, the short answer is: out of all the hated ships in Shadowhunters, couldn’t you guys choose poor cl.imon to feel sorry for and not the harmful ones? Cl.imon has never done one thing wrong in its life aside from being boring but ja.lec and cla.lec are the ships that deserve a defense? Really?

Long answer after the cut.

I get the sentiment of “ship and let ship,” but I think it’s wasted on ships such as ja.lec or cla.lec. Especially when put in context and the fact that those ships rarely are portrayed as intentionally fucked up. To the contrary, there is discourse defending those ships as “pure” and whatever is the new lingo for “right.” That’s very frustrating as well.

Particularly, I have no problem with people writing/reading fucked up things if they are not romanticized. Face your demons in a controlled ambient like a fanfiction. Go ahead. A properly tagged work should be enough to warn readers of what’s they are signing for. Tumblr finally has a working blocking system and that helps a lot too.

But I believe there’s a difference between purposefully fucked up ships and romanticized fucked up ships. And the latter is where I put ja.lec and cla.lec in my personal “ship division” within the Shadowhunters fandom. I’ve read meta on how malec is “abusive” bc either Magnus is “predatory” or “always suffering because of Alec.” That ends up in the Magnus or Malec tag. Seems to me like an invitation to disaster, especially when the meta concludes with something along the lines of “Jace is better suited to Alec.” Hard to blame someone for being outraged by this.

It’s not like one of the parts of this “conflict” is innocent and oppressed. There are people causing drama from both sides. Only, one side is generally known for romanticizing incest and practicing homophobia and/or racism. Those are actual felonies in most countries so I would argue this gives the malec side a legal upper hand on top of the moral upper hand.

As for the harassment and people putting stuff in the tags, blocking users works just as well as blocking tags. Deleting anon hate (and blocking anons’ IPs) works too plus you get the satisfaction of knowing the anon will be checking your blog for a response that is never coming

That all said, I don’t advocate harassment or provocation from either side. Although I have to admit I laugh a lot with some creative “cla.lec” edits. Maybe that’s not right of me, but damn, they are so funny. Especial shout out to the forsaken cl.alec shipper attacking the Institute.

Anyway, if I may suggest a different recipient for your frustration, guys, I’d say cl.imon. This poor ship is only guilty of being boring and is still almost universally disliked. While it was canon, almost the entire fandom was tagging the hate in the main tag. Poor cl.imon shippers, that must’ve been a hard time.
