A/N: Hey guys!! So this is the second part to my newest series! I’ve been trying to decide if this should be the last part or if I should do one more so let me know! Also you guys are able to ask for requests now and i’ll make a page with who I write for!! (Also this fic is not proofread pls excuse my typos lmao)

Summary: You go to a party Mindy and Chad host and “coincidentally” Sam is there…

After that day you hadn’t really talked to Sam besides necessary conversations you guys would have to have when you went over to hang out with Tara. Which you seemed to be doing more

and more of recently noticing the two of you actually make a pretty good duo.

One day you were getting smoothies with Tara when you felt like you should tell her about what happened with Sam.

“Tara?” “Hm?” She replied, mouth full of the strawberry banana smoothie she was drinking. “Do you remember how Sam acted when she met me that first time?” You asked looking at her. “Yeah but I told you not to worry about it I swear she’ll get used to you at some point she just isn’t exactly a people person.” Tara shrugged. “No that’s not it,” you sighed. “The day before that, I met Sam at the grocery store and I slid her my number. And that night we talked for like 3 hours before I hung up.”

Tara looked at you confused. “You slipped my sister your number…” you looked down waiting for her to yell at you for talking to her sister. “AND SHE ACTUALLY CALLED YOU?” She smirked at you. “God, I knew you were fine but not fine enough to create a miracle!” You looked up at her almost choking on your smoothie at her words. “That was your takeaway from what I just told you? You’re not mad? Or even sad?” “God no.” She replied “I’m just shocked my sister actually made an attempt at being a normal person. No wonder she acts so weird whenever I mention you. She totally likes you y/n.”

That night you think about Tara’s words a lot. Did her sister actually like you? Whenever you were around her she seemed like she was seconds away from punching you in the face. But, maybe that’s just how she is. She’s not exactly bubbly. You think about the time Tara left the apartment for a bit while you were there to go do something, leaving you and Sam alone. Sam couldn’t keep her eyes off of you. But she also didn’t dare utter a word to you. She always left you confused and wondering what was going on inside her mind.

That week you and Tara went over to Mindy and Chads place. Tara decided to find something cute for you to wear and she did your makeup. You weren’t sure why she was dressing you up so much but you let her anyway as it was fun.

As you arrived at the door Tara fixed your hair up and you gave her a weird look as you were still confused why she was trying so hard to make sure you looked good even though you were just seeing friends. You handed her the wine glass you brought as a gift before knocking on the door. After knocking you hear familiar voice say “I’ll get it.”

To your surprise as the door opens you’re met with a wide eyed Sam looking you up and down. She mumbles a quick “Hi” to you before moving over to let you in. After giving Mindy and Chad hugs you look over at Tara and Sam talking.

“You didn’t tell me you were inviting her Tara.” Sam says. “I didn’t think I needed to Sam? We’re constantly together it should’ve been a given.” Tara says raising an eyebrow at Sam. “Plus why do you care? You’re very clearly enjoying the sight of her.” Tara gives a small smirk to a slightly open mouthed Sam who is clearly shocked her sister caught on to her not so secretly checking out her friend.

As the night goes on the drunker and drunker everyone gets. You guys talk for hours, play games and watch dumb reality tv shows. “Who wants to play a classic game of drink or spill!?” Says a very very drunk Mindy. “What a good idea lil’ sis” exclaims Chad. “You know you’re only a few minutes older right?”

“Can we please start playing before you two get into a fight and ruin all the fun?” Sam says rolling her eyes. You all sit in a circle in their living room waiting for Mindy to ask questions. “Tara,” Mindy says, “how many people in the room would you kiss?” “Oh come on, that one’s easy! Three.” Tara says. “Thank god.” Sam replies letting out a fake sigh while laughing.

“Y/N, sweet, gorgeous, lovely, y/n.” Mindy says in a jokingly sweet voice. “Who in this room would you say no to if they asked you out?” You let out a chuckle, “if it wasn’t obvious before, I’m sorry Chad I’m just not into your uhm…kind?” You give a fake apologetic smile. You make eye contact with Sam who looks at you shocked. Obviously thinking she was going to be the one you would say no to. You give her a small smile before she looks away.

The rest of the night is a drunken blur for you. You can’t help but notice Sam staring at you all night and wonder if you look insanely hot or like a drunk mess. Later on you decide to go find Tara who’s probably making out with Chad somewhere to tell her you guys should head home.

“Tara?” You ask while knocking on Chads room door. “If you and Chad are in there eating each other’s faces please take this as a warning to stop before I walk in.” Suddenly the door opens and you see Sam smiling at your remark.

“Hi, Sam.” You say awkwardly. To your surprise she opens the door more for you to come in. “So my sister and Chad huh?” You nod. Confused as to why she’s talking to you. But then you think about the fact that she drank 5 shots during the game you guys played. She sits down on the bed in the room looking at the floor avoiding your eyes. And you join her. “I’m sorry I’ve been kind of a bitch to you y/n.” “It’s fine I guess?” You say confused as to why she would apologize now. “I really liked you that night we talked Sam. I wish you gave me a chance.” She looked up at you finally making eye contact. She stared at you for a second as if she was thinking about something.

Before you could think more she leaned closer to you, grabbed around your waist and kissed you. Only for a moment but just enough to show you she meant it.

“Im sorry,” She said looking away from you when you didn’t say anything. “That was more than okay Sam.” You smile at her and she kisses you again. This time more passionate and confident.

“Y/n!” Tara’s voice calls out a little before the door to the room bursts open. Tara’s eyes go wide at the sight of you and her sister and she stares for a moment before laughing. You and Sam look at her in bewilderment. “Thank god!! I was so sick of you two undressing each other with your eyes all night.” Sam scoffs at her boldness. “As much as I hate to break this up we need to go y/n we have class tomorrow.” Tara says as if she’s not gonna be insanely hungover the next morning. You stand up and smile at Sam. “Call me?” She says before you walk out. And you nod with a goofy smile plastered on your face.

if you had to associate a city from the world w any bllk character of your liking which cities with who and why? sorry for the odd question lmao it just crossed my mind. love ur works btw!💗

i love unconventional questions like these cus then i have to really think hard to come up with a good answer. i will admit i am slightly biased because i feel that the current teams they play for already represent them well, so some of these might be a repeat. also i am not that well-travelled (wish i could if i had the money), so i'm merely going off the reputed description of each city.

rin would be paris. i know it sounds unoriginal, but pxg rin has already grown 10x prettier than he was during the u-20 arc, so something in that city air must be doing him right. also i feel like he just dresses like a stereotypical european lol. the winter coat and scarf combo plus the perpetual scowl on his face. he probably walks super quickly down the metro too. i have this fic in the drafts where rin and reader meet up at his shitty parisian apartment and eat hotpot and smoke cigs on a random sidewalk in winter. rin is also high class. it just comes naturally to him. like if u ever take a walk near place charles de gaulle (the arc de triomphe area), there's this quiet luxury that is prominent in the fancy hotels and brand stores that make up the vicinity. even better if u go during christmas time because they have these intricately detailed light fixtures. i remember seeing this one cartier store with a giant glittering jaguar on the front. not to mention their swarovski christmas tree. rin's like that. i feel like in a few years once he goes fully professional, the media would go wild over his poise and refined grace. he just has that subtly enticing aura, like a silent glamour.

sae would be madrid. not just because it's canon but also because i feel like the city is just the polar opposite of him. madrid is one of the hottest cities in europe, and sae's just perpetually cold. even in the literal sense, i feel like he would have cold hands and feet too. if u see those wes anderson style travel commercials of madrid, it's always some variation of pastel houses, sunshine, and bikini beaches. that is exactly what sae is not like. i also chose this for...*ahem* spoiler reasons in my upcoming fic chapter which i'm not going to delve too much into. but the gist is that the contrast is why sae fits so well in madrid and also why it's a bit tragic to see how drastically he has to change in order to adapt to a new environment. if not spain, i feel like he'd still end up somewhere with a large coastline because of how fundamental the sea is to him throughout his childhood. it's sort of his safe space. if i had the choice to assign two cities, i'd also include his hometown of kamakura since he seems like the type to be secretly sentimental. i picture sae as someone who values his roots even though he constantly says he has bigger and better places to be. like he would tell everyone that he was born in the wrong country but then proceed to sigh melodramatically whenever he actually misses home.

kaiser is a weird mix of munich, new york, and las vegas. i chose munich largely because of his german roots. i also picture him as bavarian. new york and las vegas are mostly attributed to the duality of his character. when we first see kaiser, he's this figure of flamboyance. his entrance was hands-down the most theatrically dramatic one, and there are theatre motifs throughout his dialogue (eg. roles on a stage, rejecting yoichi's script/play). i feel like this would fit well with the extravagant nightlife las vegas is known for and, of course, broadway in NYC. furthermore, kaiser is this prime example of clawing your way to the top. he seems charismatic and welcoming at first, but then we see his internal motives and well...it's something. he is cutthroat when it comes to competition, and he's not afraid of using others in his ascent to the top. i mean...he literally holds people by the hair as if they're mere objects. that seems pretty ruthless and machiavellian to me. i doubt he even humanizes any of his rivals; rather, he views them as opponents to his ideology. there's also a reason why they say if you make it in new york, you can make it anywhere. there's a highly individualistic mindset, and if you really want something, the resources are there for you to achieve it. kaiser is like that in the sense he is willing to put his all into getting something he desires, even up to an obsessive degree.

yukimiya is london. like u know what taylor swift said about the english? that's yukimiya for you. he treats his mother right, sleeps 8 hours a day, and said his first love was when his friend's 16-year-old sister kissed him on the forehead. he cannot be any more perfect. not to mention he's a literal model. like hello? IMG is calling.

shidou is somewhere in ohio. i'm not going to elaborate. the man's just weird.

isagi is somewhere rural. idk why but he strikes me as a country boy. probably helps his parents on the rice farm and bikes long distances to school. i found a lot of parallels between him and hinata shoyo from haikyu mostly because they're both from a smaller, lesser known neighborhood, have a pretty ordinary childhood, and become inspired by this influential role model. my secondary reason is just that isagi doesn't seem like he'd even be familiar with the urban landscape. he's lived his life in humble origins, so i think there might be some culture shock once he actually gets to the city. like...boy was genuinely amazed when he entered that blue lock facility. never seen so much high-end equipment and technology in his life.

ego lives in a sewer. i cannot tell u his precise location just that he probably hasn't washed his hair in 45 days and is still surviving off processed ramen noodles. please pray for him.

barou is los angeles and if not socal, then he's from the bay area. i took one good look at his artificially dyed red hair and the answer was clear. he is not immune to trends guys. it's almost embarrassing. furthermore, i think the general silicon valley area is known to be hardworking, and that encapsulates barou pretty well. he is disciplined to the core, and he knows that success is not going to come to him without him actively trying to reach it. he's also...(let's be real guys)...just a teensy weensy bit arrogant. he calls himself a king, as in a literal monarch. and he says this in the most serious tone too. now he rightfully earned that title, but it doesn't erase the secondhand cringe i felt from reading that dialogue LOL.

S5E8 "The Roast" thoughts:

Ok, I watched this episode three times and I'm still smiling. I love when you think and episode is gonna be about something because of its title and then surprise you when its all a misdirection (see also: Succession's "Connor's Wedding").

At first Laszlo's err… state intrigued me, love everyone projecting and imposing their own insecurities (Guillermo's secret, Nadja's hex) as a reason on why he is behaving like that. And of course it's a stupid reason 😭.

"And a flat pepsi for Guillermo". Oh Nandor, that's the worst thing you ever done to Guillermo, that's the worst thing you could do to anyone. And yes, I remember a certain S4 episode.

I screeched like a bird when Colin mentioned dreaming about being a baby under Laszlo's care, not only because I wanted this shit to happen since the past finale, but also I really thought the episode was going on that direction (and also bc its another W for my predictions).

Having said that, LOVED the nonchalance of Nadja and the others when they were like 'no, it wasn't a dream, that totally happened'.

I mentioned it in a separate post: they really had a Sweet Dee in IASIP moment when The Guide gave the roast idea, only to be ignored and then the same idea being stolen by a dude who is celebrated.

Seanie's poor brain it should be soup at this point, we don't know if he can hazily remember the event like it happened before.

What can I remember is his line after Nadja's roast because it was one of the biggest laughs for me: "Women CAN be funny!" I fucking loved it so much, it's the perfect condescending shit straight men say all the time, even when they're trying to be complementary to you they can't stop being garbage. It was a simple line but Anthony nailed the delivery and timing. Seriously, rewatch that part.

At first I was confused why all the jokes were so mid, but shortly I realized this episode wasn't about the roast at all, lol.

Just by watching screenshots of other users I noticed that in the scene of Nandor resting his head on Guillermo's shoulder there's a BIG flame between them. LMAO. There's no way that is unintentional.

Good for The Guide being the catalyst of Baron Afanas learning the truth. I was demanding more screen time for her lately, so having some incidence in the main plot goes on the plus column.

The other guests present at the roast being shocked at the knowledge of Guillermo killing vampires surprised me; I always assumed Guillermo being a familiar/slayer was a known fact in the vampire community after his very public massacre at the Théâtre des Vampires.

Fuck yeah when I realized this is a Doug Jones spotlight episode, I just fuckin ahgdjkaksdf, love him, perfect, no notes.

The Baron being terrifying!! Guillermo was seriously scared for the others and he barely tried to show off his Van Helsing abilities.

Nandor and Nadja begging the Baron to not hurt Guillermo!! 😭 Them being dragged while grabbing the cape!! 😭 They're spiritual siblings to me!! 😭😭

They really reminded me a little bro and sis begging their mom to not hit their beloved older brother with the chancla for talking back or something.

I fell for the two fake-outs with the sack lol I'm so gullible when it comes to vampires I guess.

NANDOR PAINFUL SOUNDS (MOANS???) WHEN HE BELIEVED HE WAS IN FRONT OF GUILLERMO'S INERT BODY. IT WAS SAD BUT ALSO A LITTLE HORNY!!!

"At least he died doing what he loved: beating off in the toolshed."

A wonderful small detail: After Laszlo opened fake Guillermo with the knife he cleaned his hands on The Guide's dress.

Idc if you think its dark, the whole 'Nandor will kill you and then kill himself' bit becoming a recurring joke it's peak writing.

I wish I can say something more serious about Baron Afanas' sadness over how boring his life is now. But I just keep thinking that the way he talks about his homelife with The Sire and the Hellhound sounds exactly when a dude has a middle life crisis and suddenly he doesn't enjoy his marriage anymore. They're husbands!! And I loved how cunty he looked at the end all half-charred (see posted gif) Queen!

Now, the Nandermo of it all: What more can I say than incoherent screaming and foaming from the mouth? Episodes 8 are all about them again!! Nandor on the window looking all cliched melancholic heroine of a romance novel?? How relieved he was when he found him in the coffin??? Him still remembering Guillermo's card word for word???!! Knowing that this toxic dark sided devotion goes both ways???!!! Borrowing the words of Fleabag: THIS IS A LOVE STORY.

Seriously, I know all these soft Nandor moments are here so the heartbreak when he learns about Guillermo being turned it's even bigger. But still denying that there is a romantic undertone between these two it's just being purposely adamant at this point (i'm looking at you wwdits reddit). Even if nothing explicitly romantic happens on screen, just by watching these moments, I know, we know.

Now, go listen to the ending song again. You will not regret it.

🌊Silkina the Waveservant Bard

Silkina has gotten to the Underdark safely and is currently on her way to visit the mushies! Nothing super exciting has happend that's worth mentioning, but I did finally do a photoshoot with her and Wyll which was very fun. I also downladed a pirate outfits mod and so she has a few new outfits and accessories that are ocean themed! I also changed her outfit to the wavemother dress but an alt version of it. I wish it didn't clip weirdly at the arm pits, but what can ya do?

✨Solenia the Drow Cleric of Elistraee

Solenia and Silkina are in the exact same spot lol Well, Solenia is a little further along and at Grymforge!

The biggest change is that I decided to have fun with Solenia's hair lmao I have a cool anime-ish, Final Fantasy-esque hair mod that had this spiky pontail situation and I really wanted to use it for someone. Solenia felt like a good choice lmao She's still not exactly romancing anyone atm but she'll probably go for Halsin depending on how that all goes!

She's very adamant about saving the slaves in the Underdark and helping the gnomes and it's my first time really doing that, so woo! Oh she also saved Bolen which was a first for me lmao Usually Efenity just blows up the whole area and steals the stuff that was in his bag 🥲

🌩️Efenity the Storm Sorcerer

Changed her hair and outfit YET. AGAIN. I just have to accept that I will never not change it every couple of days lmaooo

Anyway, she's the furthest along out of everyone because she's my comfort Tav and I get lost in her playthroughs 🥲yes the playthroughs with my Evil Tav being the worst person alive are somehow my comfort playthroughs... I don't get it either. Plus, I kinda follow a "routine" with her since I have a storyline she goes through, so it's familiar after doing it 6 times and still never getting past the final fight.

She has gone through the gauntlet of Shar, the whole shadow cursed lands, fought and defeated Yurgir and his minions, and I left off with her and Astarion getting the news about his scars from Raphael.

I love this conversation because it's one of the first moments Efenity's perspective on Astarion's situation can be directly acted out/spoken. She's always like "SO... there's a way to become a living vampire. Jot that down cause we are coming back to that. Cazedor is a POS and we gon' take him down."

🍃Enyana the Dryad (wood elf Druid)

Enyana's a little behind the others, but she JUST got to the Underdark! And I mean JUST got there.

She saved Halsin and I've been enjoying her and Gale a lot.

There's a sort of timid but curious vibe between them (at least, in my head lmao) that makes me happy. Can't wait to get to more romance scenes with him!

No cuz do you ever just realize how powerful lucy is?

She was able to conjure ALL of her celestial spirits, 3 or 4 of them being fricking ZODIACS, all at once and being powerful enough to be recognized by the celestial spirit king? And all in the first season? Where she hasn’t even had her star dresses and other abilities she has learned?

Not to mention this theory about her being a descendent of the goddess Anna, the best Celestial Spirit user.

And im rewatching it rn, and ive already encountered a moment where if she didnt interfere, natsu would have died. The arc with phantom lord where natsu is battling gajeel? Gajeel had eaten iron but there was no fire for natsu to eat, and so Lucy gave him that fire by using Sagittarius. Without that fire, natsu definitely wouldnt have finished that fight.

People are always saying ‘oh well that may be so, but if she hadn’t joined the guild-‘ Phantom lord would have most definitely attacked them for another reason. They wanted to remain the best guild in Fiore. Fairytail challenged that, so it was just a matter of time before they fought.

“Well, she always gets in their way-“ Yeah, considering the fact that she grew up in a household where her fathers only concern was the family line, she wouldn’t exactly have time to practice her magic. The only spirit she really had was Aquarius, and we can infer that she only brought her out on very few occasions. And she also wouldn’t have been able to build up any target practice or any muscle building, since Jude would say, in the stupid old fashioned way, ‘women don’t need muscles. All you need to do is make yourself look presentable to find a husband.’ He definitely wouldn’t have wanted her practicing her magic.

Meanwhile, all the others grew up in an environment where they could practice their magic freely with other wizards. They had teachers and activities that enhanced their magic and physical builds, she didn’t. So of course she wouldn’t be able to be on their level so soon.

Also, the amount of magic it takes to summon a silver spirit is a lot, but even MORE so for a Zodiac. Mashima explained that it pretty much is on a scale from 1-100. Plu being the easiest to summon at one, and her highest silver key being Lyra at 18. Her golden keys on the other hand, has Aquarius at 100 and the lowest being Cancer at 52. Others talk about the spirits only being able to use as much magical power as Lucy uses to summon them, but i doubt that theory/statement.

And its also amazing even then because she can keep those gates open for a tremendous amount of time, and multiple on some occasions. I don’t know if this part is true, but i believe that the mage has to have at-least some level of concentration on the gate for it to keep open, so if that’s correct, then it makes it even more astounding that she is able to focus on the bond at all times while fighting. And i only say this because her spirits go back to the spirit realm when she is knocked out.

Also during the E.N.D arc, (haven’t gotten there yet, seen bits and pieces) she literally REWRITES the E.N.D book that Zeref HIMSELF wrote. She literally rewrote his fate. And yes, i know that Gray was there to help her out, but at the same time, most people would have still not have been able to handle the mental and physical strain that causes.

And im just guessing on this part, but didnt she learn an entirely new part of her magic by someone in blue pegasus and learned how to preform the spell in like a week? Month? Some other very short time span?

Anyways i just love lucy and i would litterally rather show everyone my ao3 library before letting her get hurt/bashed. Lmao

For you, there are no limits, nor are there any for Wonwoo, he loves when you act out of line because there are certain implications when you do it.

You smile at him, because of course he is. He may be an expert at putting you in your place, but there are times when he does exactly what you want when you tease him enough. Torturing him for an hour alone at a grocery store was enough to have him on his knees, asking how you want him to get you off.

“I know.” You say in a pleased voice, smiling. You're well aware that typically, Wonwoo isn't in the palm of your hand during sex. If he's chasing your hand with his hips, he's not going to be putting you in your place any time soon. Instead, he's going to be praising the way you take him for all he's worth.

And since I missed the first glosmas event (was on a break from twst) I doubt I'll get his card because I'm desperate for Rollo's 💔 (I actually want all 3 but only in my dreams)

30. What made you like Rollo? (Or Azul?)

I'll answer for both characters because once I'm asked about my faves I can't shut up. Ahem.

Azul:

When I first saw Azul he was immediately the first character to catch my attention. There's something about fancy-vintage-dressed motherfuckers that are clearly not what they present themselves as that really gets me (I just like guys in fancy suits).

Plus Ursula has always been one of my favourite Disney Villains, so I was extremely curious to see Azul's character. And oh boy was I not prepared for it.

Now I love Azul mainly because of how relatable he is to me. Ever since I witnessed his breakdown before his overblot. Not just his backstory and struggles with bullying and weight, but the way he is in the present.

We're not the same obviously, but I can't help but see myself in a lot of the things he does and likes.

I also like small cozy places, I like collecting one specific thing (for me it's funko pops or pins), I tend to calculate and think ahead of how something will go down and the possible outcomes etc. (I also love money)

Ofc it's not exactly like him, he's a fictional character created for entertainment, and I'm just some 17 year old lmao.

Rollo:

Rollo.... honestly I did not expect to love Rollo this much. It's actually hard to explain why (I lied, this ended up longer because I couldn't shut up. Sorry, it kinda turned into a Rollo analysis lmao 😭).

Thinking about it, I think I love Rollo because he wasn't what I was expecting. I don't even think I was really expecting anything, I was just curious about what Yana Toboso did with him, considering he's twisted from Frollo of all characters. And oh boy was I not prepared for him.

(obvious glosmas spoilers ahead for anyone who hasn't read the event.Here is the rest of the twst ask game)

I believe the point I really leeched myself onto this rat man is during his break down in the bell tower due to Idia's speech. It's devastating seeing him lash out as his world view crumbles right in front of his eyes. It's sad, it depressing, I can't help but feel pity for him.

His actions made a lot more sense to me then. He lost his brother to Magic, and he assumes that his brother would have also wanted Magic gone for this exact reason. Only thing is he can't know that for sure, his brother's dead, we can't know what his feelings regarding his death are. And Idia even calls him out on that!

Rollo is the one that wants Magic gone, I do think he believes it'll make the world better, but I believe he also does it out of revenge, for his selfish reasons. He's angry with the Mages that did nothing to help, he's angry with a world that allows Magic to be used so carelessly, he's angry with himself for being weak, for not doing anything, and then hates himself for being a Mage.

All of that results to him holding an intense hate for Magic, finding it completely dangerous and hates mages for using it carelessly. He's so devoted in his views, he even projects it onto others he thinks will agree with him. It's what he did with MC, they're magicless, so of course they'd agree with him, and when they didn't, he immediately jumped on the defensive and said it's sad they're used to the chaos, dismissing their answer completely.

But he also punishes himself. He doesn't let himself properly grieve and move on, to heal from the trauma, to the point I believed the death happened recently, until I realised he got his magic after the death, and assuming before getting into NBC, so he couldn't have been older than 15-16. And he's 18 now.

We see he's clearly struggling with depression thanks to his SSR card story. Sleeping very little, eating very little, outright refusing to have any social interactions with his peers. It's the things I, and many others, could relate to, to an extent.

He hates magic, the world that favours magic, the people that wield it and himself, for doing nothing to save his brother and then possessing the very thing that took him.

And I just...find all this super fucking interesting and cool???? LIKE it's such an interesting twisted from Frollo's character, because Rollo's rage is justified and understandable (even tho his actions cannot be excused).

Rollo isn't a villain, none of the characters are, he's an extremely confused, lost and damaged kid that needs help ASAP. He doesn't need to like or use magic, but he needs to learn to stop projecting his ideals onto others and start moving on with his life. To get new, realistic goals for himself, and stop obsessing over a goal that's not attainable, at least not for him. (Fire lotuses felt like a "holy fuck I can actually do it??" moment to me, instead of something he can repeat again).

Idk man I just want him to be happy, maybe while looking after a garden, make him a flower shop owner or something. He deserves a peaceful life.

I hope we see him again... imagine a new event where he's forced to work together with Malleus. Oh the potential...in both comedy and tragedy.

PART ONE HERE KINDA IMPORTANT TO READ FIRST

Everyone loved the modern headcannons and wanted to have some modern wedding headcannons

As well as some more arthur on the bike wink wonk

we’re gonna combine the two, and start with the wedding and work in some of the bike!

Oh and @photo1030 suggested Arthur on a more vintage looking Indian Motorcycle rather than a Harley, so I’ll leave an image of both and write for both!

So after Arthur has asked you to marry him because of course he did

You two set away at making wedding plans almost immediately

You more than him

not that he isn’t excited to marry you because of course he is

but because he isn’t exactly into big party’s

he’d be willing to just get married with his family, your family, and one officiator.

But he knows you’ll want something a little more extravagant.

So he let’s you do whatever it is you’d like to do for it

You want to do a color scheme? He knows you won’t make him look like a total fool

you want a specific kind of food there?

He’s not picky he’ll eat anything you put on his plate

it’s the same with the cake, it can look any way you want

he’s absolutely there to accept any and all plans you make

of course he’ll help with certain things but he’s given you free reign

Like I said

it’s not that he’s not excited for your wedding

quite the opposite

he mentions to you just how excited he is for it every morning he wakes up with you

He mentions ‘we’ve got X amount of days until you’re Mrs./Mr. Morgan’ and then the rest of the day you have a smile on your face.

He helps pick the location, obviously

He wants to do it on Dutch’s ranch, there’s plenty of space there to set up a venue, and you debate it over a night but then realize it’s probably best for the two of you.

It’s close to family and Arthur would love to be closer to family rather than somewhere he doesn’t know, and you know that.

Plus there’s a beautiful apple orchard that Hosea’s started there

that you think would be fantastic to put the alter at

You invite your family, your friends and the entirety of Arthur’s family and all is set up sooner than you think

Of course you make the color scheme your favorite color and white, or black if that’s more your style

(Myself it’s olive green and white, that’s what I’d like to have whenever my actual wedding happens, if it happens lmao)

which means whatever your favorite color is, is the color of Arthur’s tie, or his tux with a black tie, depends on the route you decide to go

(Like for me, an olive green suit with a black or white tie, I think it’d look fantastic)

(AND OR SUIT YOU WOULD MATCH WITH HIM OMG THAT’D BE SO CUTE OMG WHAT IF YOU WERE OPPOSITE? SO GREEN TIE AND BLACK SUIT)

(A mostly white dress with olive green accents for me I swear these are just to try and give you an idea of what I mean but also shut it I can dream too)

The decorations match the color scheme and Abigail does a lot of it, she kinda takes over and decides that she is gonna be your wedding planner.

The dj for the wedding is Sean because he insisted and if you didn’t he threatened to make you feel bad for the rest of your life for it.

The whole thing goes off without a hitch!

Arthur is crying at the alter and pretending not to be

He sees you and just can’t stop himself you’re just too perfect and he’s sniffling and trying to wipe away the tears without it being too noticeable

That makes Abigail cry, which makes you cry, which makes John cry, and everyone is crying

Dutch is crying the loudest and Hosea is hitting him repeatedly to try and get him to shut up

When it comes time for the reception, food dancing and the like

everyone keeps calling you Mrs./Mr. Morgan and welcomes you to the Van Der Linde family without hesitation

Everyone dances happily, and gets drunk

Arthur gets drunk but for once its happy drunk, and not drinking because it’ll take his mind off things

He sings badly for you and the two of you

Just have the time of your lives

the pictures you get taken for the wedding are sent to you about a month after and you swear you’d almost kiss Albert for how well they came out

Arthur looked so handsome and you PROMISED him that the photos would be treasured forever

You even set one of the digital copy ones as your lock screen because he looked so damn fine

Speaking of fine

Those motorcycles

He doesn’t ride them often but you complain to him to start doing it more because

The vintage Indian Motorcycle is older and it takes a lot of repairs sometimes

He doesn’t take the bikes into the shop though

Mainly just because he’s got the tools at home to fix it

On the days you aren’t at work you sit at home and watch him work on it

swearing under his breath

sweating and wiping oil on himself

Tossing things to the side and calling them names

Going from angry at the bike to nice the next second

“You fuckin’ bitch that’s my goddamn hand”

“Aw...start up for me, please?”

Now, modern Arthur keeps his hair fairly short, faded at the sides and anywhere from a 2 to 3 level beard.

He’s got tats on his arms all the way to the shoulder, a sleeve, only on one arm though, the other has a few tats but not a sleeve

He’s got a chest tat, but its not huge

the one on his back is tho

You get to see them when he works on the bike because he gets hot and frustrated and tosses his tanktop to the side or ends up using it as a rag because the one he usually tucks in his waistband gets lost when he kicks pieces to the side

The back piece is a Buck, one of his favorite animals and his arm is an amalgamation of things

His favorite fire arms, which he uses as an excuse to say

“What, you mean, these guns?” And then flex

He’s got just a bunch of things that mean a lot to him and also anything that he thinks looks good on him.

He’s got a feather tattooed on there somewhere from an eagle, (it’s matching with Charles)

In general he’s got wilderness things tattooed on him, mountains and trees and the like

The chest tattoo is small, but also a favorite firearm, one of the repeaters he likes

He’s got flowers mixed in too! A man can like flowers damnit!

When his bikes are fixed up

he’s a hunk

He wears this tight fitting white shirt and these fantastic jeans with biker chaps and a leather jacket to match.

He wears his cowboy hat too, which of course you always warn him it’s gonna fall off when he’s riding but of course he remembers to tie it on with the straps he had you sew in

Like I said he usually keeps his cigarettes rolled up into his arm sleeve, that way he can reach them easy, and the sight of him smoking on a vintage bike

He drops you off at work sometimes and when he does you know that means he’s gonna pick you up for a bike ride that evening

It’s mostly because he smelled food, but also because you weren’t cuddling him and he’s a little bit of a baby.

You feed him, and sit there playing with his hair, which he LOVES

he thinks about growing it out a little longer because then there’s more for you to mess with but

with him being a mechanic he doesn’t wanna risk it getting caught in some machine and ripping his scalp at all

So he keeps it short but he loves you messing with it all the same.

He makes you lunch btw

he isn’t the best at cooking but he’s pretty good

he makes you your favorite sandwiches and puts soup in a container for you and literally makes sure all your favorite snacks are in there for you

He packs it the night before while you’re reading in front of the fireplace and then he curls up with you on the couch

9 times out of 10 you have to wake him up and herd him into the bedroom where he immediately cuddles back up into you.

I adored your surrender au mashup drabble, which my brain randomly got me thinking, in the original surrender universe what the relationship between bakugo’s parents and weeds is like, I wonder if it would be important to bakugo for them to meet? How they would? Imagine the lil flower arrangement weeds would make if it was an organised meet up 🥺

i haven’t posted it yet, but there’s a throwaway line about weeds meeting the bakugous in the birthday!drabble im doing for the one-shot collection. they have their own little dinner with katsuki and weeds, for his birthday! 🥺 he hates every moment lmao, and keeps trying to shut down his mum’s questions. 💀 his dad is much sweeter though—he and weeds meet before this, accidentally, when he stops by katsuki’s apartment and runs into her! it’s what inspires the birthday dinner. 🥹

tbh i see katsuki’s parents as being fairly hands-off that first year weeds and katsuki are together—you know! relationships are funny! you have to let them settle! plus katsuki would be like a rabid chihuahua any time his mother or his dad like, ask about weeds or whatever. mitsuki would be sooo nosy tho—how on earth does anyone tolerate her son for so long???—and masaru would just be so pleased for his little boy. 🥹 like, that first time weeds and the family meet, weeds comes armed with this beautiful, big bouquet of flowers for mitsuki and then afterwards, when katsuki’s shepherd weeds out of the house (all the while evil eying his mother) mitsuki will flick one of the big, fat peonies and be like, “the kid seems sweet. how long do you think it’ll last?”

and masaru will just scratch the side of his nose under his glasses and think about a younger mitsuki, who literally would not take no for an answer from him—and a younger katsuki, who had the same laser-focus when it came to the things he wanted in his life. “i’m not sure,” he’ll say, placidly. “we’ll have to wait and see.”

as an answer it pleases mitsuki—i like to think she’s stubborn about acknowledging the similarities between her and her son. she’d want him to settle down and be normal (and safe) and give her grandbabies—but after nearly losing him so many times as a teenager, a child still, i think she’d just count herself lucky he has a future to live at all—no matter what it looks like, or who it’s with.

(“i can’t believe he’s even interested in human contact,” she complains to masaru the day after the birthday dinner. he’s ironing, nodding as he listens and she sets the wash basket down. “i was beginning to think our real baby got replaced by some kind of—piggybacking little demon, only we were stupid enough to dress it and raise it and set it loose in the real world—”

“piggybacking little demon or not,” masaru interrupts, fondly, “he’s still our boy. i’m glad he’s found someone—especially someone so nice.”

that makes his wife snort; almost exactly like their son used to, as an impatient teenager. “i hope those nice genes are strong enough to beat out his demon ones, then.”

masaru thinks ruefully of his own dark hair—and the way katsuki was almost an exact clone of his mother, down to their scowls. “we’ll have to see about that,” he says, wry.)

eventually tho, mitsuki figures out the name of the florist shop that weeds runs and oh, would you look at that—masaru just happens to be in town! in the same area! what a coincidence!! didn’t expect to run into katsuki’s girlfrend, here of all places, oh well better take some flowers back home for mitsuki haha! weeds would be delighted—masaru is a very gentle man, and when neither of them have their respective blondes there, needling the other, it’s easier to hold proper conversation. it wouldn’t be crazy often—once every few months, maybe, when masaru “accidentally” wanders into town—but i reckon eventually he and weeds would have a standing lunch date. 🥺 just a little check-in. weeds can get the family happenings/gossip from him, and he can get a true assessment of what’s going on his boy’s world. 🥺 they’d either eat together in the store or go to little cafés, bistros—talk over sandwiches or traditional bowls served by some tiny, tiny old grandmother with a shop cat that sits on the counter and a pile of magazines on the chair next to weeds. it’d be fun! weeds would really enjoy the time with another civilian who knows what it’s like to love a pro-hero, and worry for them. 🥺

(it’s all fun and games until katsuki figures it out. he sees it, actually, while on patrol; the pair of them walking back from lunch like old friends. he’s so mad LMAO. he told his stupid parents to butt out of things!!! masaru’s laughing at weeds impersonating a grumpy katsuki when there’s a growl from behind them—he’s lethally silent when he wants to be—and someone says, “something real funny, eh?”

weeds and masaru are fairly similar in temper, i think—so they’d be identically shame-faced, as katsuki bawls them out, right there on the street LMAO. told off by a pro hero. 😔 how embarrassing.)

What do you imagine weddings in the nine houses are like? Do you think they still wear white or abide by any more traditional pre-resurrection customs? Since Jod drew so much inspiration from both Rome and Catholicism (Catholic wedding doctrine is based on the ideas of free will marriage that were tradition in ancient Rome) I think it's likely but there has to be some insane necromancy element too. Maybe a riff on the eucharist from wedding masses? Also, how do you think it varies from house to house? You always have really fun and creative ideas about the world, so I thought I'd ask your opinion about one of my favorite random headcanons to think about. (P.S. I hope the eras concert was fun!!)

Oh gosh, first of all, that is incredibly flattering lol. Second... I actually hadn't given this just a ton of thought before getting this, so it's been fun to thing about!

I think they probably resemble Christian/Catholic wedding ceremonies enough to be recognizable as such, but I would love it if they were like, the funhouse mirror version of that. I LOVE the idea of the Eucharist being involved prominently, but maybe even at a more symbolic level? Like we could obviously tie that to the whole "consume the flesh" thing, but I just feel like Tamsyn could come up with a really cool play on that concept that would never even occur to me lol.

I kind of doubt they wear white; I don't really have a good rationale for this other than vibes. Just thinking about how we see a decent range of aesthetics across the clothing of the Houses, especially in color, it would track that they have differing customs for wedding/ceremonial attire as well. Like, I can't really imagine that the Sixth whole gray librarian thing translates into formalwear the same way that say, the Third does (although using the Third as an example feels like cheating, because I suspect they go over the top for EVERYTHING so no one was gonna be doing it like them anyway lmao).

As an aside, I'm pausing for a moment to push one of my most indulgent AtN bingo card items, which is Harrow wearing white. I know the Lyctor robes are like, iridescent white, but I mean purely white. With Alecto getting so much imagery around light, and how Harrow describes her in the Tomb as wearing wearing "a white shift", it could be a cool parallel. Oh also, now that I think about it, the whole thing about Harrow being a nun, i.e., "betrothed to the Locked Tomb". Plus like, there's something there about the way it would be close to but not exactly like the iridescent white of the Lyctor robes, like, John was trying to emulate that and could only achieve a flashy approximation. And something something Harrow setting aside the black of the Ninth something mumble. But mostly, I'm heart eyes over more wedding/marriage imagery for her and Gideon 🥰 (Idk what to make of that in contrast to the white that the Tower Princes wear, but it's entirely hypothetical at this point, which means that I can ignore anything that doesn't fit my agenda.)

On my last reread, one of the little details that I was actually really taken by was that Magnus is noted to be wearing a wedding ring. So that tradition still stands, at least for the Fifth, and I absolutely melted over it.

I would kind of assume the vibe of a wedding ceremony varies from House to House, maybe along the lines of what we know about the cultures of each and what they tend to emphasize. If that's the case, I would LOVE to see a Seventh wedding; I bet it's gorgeous and deliciously fucked up. I'm really really curious about the wedding that Tamsyn has mentioned being in AtN, especially because she mentioned party dresses, and you know how I love putting blorbos in outfits. I suspect that her saying that is a bit of a red herring... Like if I'm giving my best guess, there WILL be a wedding (an actual one, not just a symbolic Lyctorhood whatever wedding) BUT I don't it will be the focus. I could see it being used really neatly as backdrop for some heisty business, more of a plot device to get people all in one place or as a distraction. I'm not getting my hopes up to see the actual ceremony, I guess is what I'm saying. The real action might be happening in the next room over.

(and P.S. THANK YOU! It was AMAZING and honestly, probably the best night of my life and also I cried for basically the entire thing, I still cannot believe I was lucky enough to be there. I got to go with my best friends, who live quite far away from me and I hadn't seen since January, which made it that much more fun. We went to the second night, and we mostly stayed off our phones/away from any social media so that we could go in and be completely surprised without having seen anything about it, and I'm so glad we did! I wouldn't have held out if we were going to a different date lol.)

I think that taking decisions it's a challenge for him, cause he not only is indecisive, but he also doesn't want anyone to feel bad for not taking their opinions into account. I also feel that there's a challenge here of being subjective and objective, cause his heart says something and his mind says something else.

he's a leo moon, which means that he's ambitious and generous af, but sometimes people can take adventage of his generosity. this dude LOVES entertaining others and being the center of attention. with the combination of scorpio and leo, I can say that this man loves being in control of EVERYTHING lmao. he's sociable as well and, of course, a drama queen lol. sangyeon doesn't like failing in front of others, since it hurts his pride.

I don't think he has much luck when it comes to love with that venus square jupiter and venus opposite saturn :( like I said before, some people might take advantage of him... but I also think that he doesn't know exactly what he wants in a romantic relationship; he just goes with the flow, you know what I mean? from what I can interpret, he wants a stable, passionate, loyal and long-lasting relationship... but he doesn't want to have a traditional type of love. sangyeon appreciates his freedom and likes being independent, so he needs a relationship that doesn't make him feel trapped? idk if this makes any sense, but that's how I can interpret all this. oh, he also wants his partner to be not only his lover, but also his best friend.

if you ask me if this man gets jealous, my answer is: yes, he does.

sangyeon's a perfectionist and a hard worker. he's very observant, practical and disciplined. this boy can be a bit critical when you don't do things right, but he will always try to help you improve your skills <3 he doesn't get angry, he just get easily irritated but confronts you in a very respectful and mature way.

now… regarding his mars square pluto, this aspect can make him repress his anger until he explodes. actually, anger here can be quite chaotic, cause he can get pretty aggressive… sangyeon doesn’t like to show vulnerability and is afraid of opening up to others, as I said earlier on this reading, so I think he might constantly feel that everyone is out to get him somehow and will never let anyone walk over him. he can also be quite power hungry and manipulative when conflicts arises. this man needs a lot of physical outlets to overcome his anger… interpret this last part the way you want it…

and, of course, his mission in this life is to do something relating to music with that libra north node! sangyeon's very talented, but he needs to work hard in order to achieve all of his dreams. luck will be by his side if he's generous, confident and uses his voice to deliver his messages to the world.

HC designs from when i read the novel

sorry for the lack of color in the dresses, i got lazy halfway. and yes i mispelled chokers my bad for that ;-;

So i mentioned in a reblog of a post by @lithi that i wanted to show my fanon designs of Athy and Jetty after seeing her talk about how people who only read the wmmap novel must have different interpretations of the characters designs. I must admit, i’m a little biased in that aspect because i read the manhwa first so at first when reading the novel (specifically fan translations bc this was before i found out about ridibooks) for the first time i always imagine Spoon’s designs when i read them. But now having a new perspective on this i decided i wanted to make a sketch based on how i imagined these two while reading the novel a second time.

For Athanasia, i think the most obvious has to be the fact that i imagine her with darker skin due to Sioddona being inspired by the Ottoman Empire visually from the manhwa. I know, a bit weird since this is about the novel but personally that’s how i always imagined what Siodonna looked like. Another thing i like to imagine and, this is a personal headcanon for me, is that she always likes to wear a necklace that reminds her of Diana, because she never knew her and wanted some semblance of her mother to be with her every step of the way. I always wanted to know more about Diana so think of this as part of that need lol. As for Athy’s outfits, i always imagine the dresses @alicehattera03 would post about that suit Athy to be her fashion sense in the novel. Don’t get me wrong i love the dresses Spoon puts her in, but at the same time i always imagine her in more regal clothes befitting of a crown princess, and Alice always has the best imagination whenever it’s Athy related so i mostly think of her posts whenever i think of Athy aha. Also, more on that note on chokers, i think it’s safe to say that Athy has every right feeling uncomfortable around those things due to the whole hanged thing from the original novel, so while she isn’t exactly the same Athy she’d probably still find chokers a bit triggering since they remind her of her doom.

For Jennette, the biggest difference for me is that i wanted her to look a bit intimidating to the eyes without the effects of her black magic. I think to illustrate the seeping black magic from her body, she uses things like chokers and longer dresses to cover the markings. It’s a bit gross describing it now but hey, LP!Jetty did a lot of questionable things so i suppose having some symbolism about her sins isn’t too far reaching. I don’t know why, but whenever i like to imagine ladies in historical dressing, i always seem to imagine the dresses Shuli von Neuschwanstein wears, probably because i think they’re the best designed dresses in manhwa yet but that’s personal. This applied to imagining Jetty too, so i used one of Shuli’s dresses as reference. Something i like to imagine is that Jetty also has a darker color palette compared to Athy to illustrate how completely opposite they are, so in the novel i always think of her having much darker hair than she has in the manhwa, plus longer hair for the fun of it (another thing inspired by my beloved Shuli lmao). I don’t think there was any mention of Jetty having bangs, but i gave them to her in this design since they’ve become what i associate with her.

Another thing, i’m not sure if this would be accurate but imagine them being much taller in the novel than they are in the manhwa 😅. I don’t know what is with me and my thing for tall female characters, but i think because there isn’t too much descriptors for height the last time i read, i think it’s safe to assume i could go wild with that aspect in terms of the novel designs i have. Instead of being around 150-160s in centimeters, i always thought of them being more around 170ish till about 180 roughly, and the reason for that is because i like to imagine the very dramatic and foreboding scenes they’re in to be accentuated with how tall they are lmao. Probably makes sense for Athy’s case since she’s princess and all.

That’s about it for how i imagine them in the novel, i’m sure others have their own interpretations and ideas of how they’d look in the novel but so far these are mine, thanks for reading ;p
