Hii could I request prompt 4 for Leo Valdez? Maybe Leo is just sitting talking to someone and reader comes and gives him a quick peck to the side of the head. It was just supposed to be a small gesture of affection, but Leo gets extremely flustered and happy (I hope this is a good enough description)

Prompt #4: kiss to the side of the head

Things have been busy recently, what is meant with that is Leo has been busy with his machines and that’s about it.

He’s even been going out of his comfort to discuss things with other campers.

You were pretty proud of him and couldn’t wait to show him some affection so why not do it now?

It’s not really a big deal since you’ve done PDA before and this might help give Leo some extra motivation before you meet up again this afternoon!

As you walked across the camp grounds you luckily spot him seated talking to someone at the dining pavilion.

Upon closer inspection it was Annabeth and of course you had to do a little sneak attack.

Plus it’s not like you were wandering aimlessly, you were on your way to the big house because Chiron wanted to discuss something.

So might as well!

Annabeth immediately noticed you but when you raised a finger to your lips she kept quiet.

She trusted you, but most of all was curious as to what you were up to.

On the other hand your beloved Leo was blissfully ignorant until you latched onto him from behind and luckily managed to kiss his head before being quickly shoved away.

“[name] Sorry.. I didn’t know it was you” Leo apologized for shoving you but it fell on deaf ears.

You had already moved on and made your way to your next destination and was as buzzed as a bee.

Leo was the exact way. Except unlike you, this action of yours didn’t leave his head all for the rest of the day.

He had this lovesick smile and unfortunately for him- just agreed to anything proposed to him by others because of how happy he was.

Although Annabeth is happy that you and Leo seem to love eachother a lot she wasn’t exactly thrilled that you incapacitated someone who she was discussing plans with. And she made those feelings very clear :,•

But atleast when the day came to an end and the set time for you to meet finally happened- you were met with a very happy Leo who was just a little sad that you didn’t choose to kiss him on his lips.

Who knew such a casual display of affection would make him so happy.

Well you’re glad it did anyway since it all worked out in the end.

Don't they all look so smiley like they didn't have to suffer through watching their friends die and have PTSD, anxiety, depression, or dyslexia (Often all 4) I love how Grover's here. He was forgotten about during HOO but he was one of the best characters.

I'm not surprised Nico can't stop playing the Nintendo to smile for a picture. They didn't have those back then. Wonder if Will showed him a Star Wars game on it...

I feel like Reyna should be here too though if Frank and Hazel are there

Thought it was a cute scenario, Not proof read! also English is not my first language so please excuse any spelling or grammar mistakes (possibly not book accurate but idk) Content: injured!Leo Valdez x Apollo!Reader Warnings: Fluff, injuries, established relationship Word count: 600+ Thoughts and Requests w/me⚜️

Leo’s siblings practically had to force him to go to the infirmary, He was too focused on his inventions and didn’t even notice how many cuts and bruises he got “god damnit Leo! come- in!” Charles groaned dragging Leo by the collar of his shirt, Lucky for you, you were working the shift that day. Leo was too ashamed to face you, especially since you’ve warned him the last time he went to the infirmary that you’ll prohibit him to work on new projects. You raised your brow at the both of them your gaze focused on the half dry bruises “Ah Here’s your boy” Charles said, pushing the Flush red Leo over to one of the beds making him stumble over to your arms

you quickly caught him, giving him a death glare as he sat down the bed, You then turned back to Charles with a sweet smile “You got it from here? he asked and you replied by giving him a subtle nod and he left the infirmary

“In my defense-” Leo stuttered looking down “what?.” You lifted his chin up so he was facing you eye to eye, he felt his cheeks burn up gulping as he tried to think of what to say “Exactly.” you scoffed turning away from him grabbing medical supplies to bandage his wounds up “why’d you let it get this bad?” you were furious and worried that he haven’t been takin care of himself “Are you mad?” He whispered placing his hands on the back of your waist “don’t- don’t do that.” you murmured slapping his hand away, god this boy knew how to make you fold, You turn back towards him seeing his usual grin plastered in his face “Sit” You demanded tired of his flirting, you weren’t gonna complain though “yes ma’am” was he seriously teasing you to get out of trouble right now? Your eyes rolled back, gently gripping his wrist as you cleaned up his wounds.

“A-ah -ah Careful!” He flinched almost snatching his hand away but you kept a tight grip “Seriously though, You’re so oblivious to your injuries” You scolded but the tone in your voice softened and now gently cleaning up his cuts, He saw your eyes with genuine worry and he felt bad, using his other hand he tucked in a loose strand behind your ear “I’m okay, its just a couple bruises..” He tried to reassure you, kissing your forehead “still! you get too caught up in your inventions, have you even eaten?” You snapped getting tired of him ignoring what his body needs, your brows furrowed when he didn’t answer “i think?” Leo mumbled not entirely sure of when was the last time he ate, you scoffed “my god?, that’s it I’m prohibiting you of making any more new inventions until you Eat, sleep properly!” You purposely tied the bandages tight to make him twitch “That– that’s fair..” He sighed giving in, the corners of his lips curling up as he watched you kiss the bruises and gently rub them.

He’ll never get tired of your scolding though, how you genuinely cared for him, how you acted annoyed every time you saw him in the infirmary, but still patched him up whenever he needed. And even if you were scolding him, his brain wouldn’t process it. Your eyes distracting him with pure worry and focus on him, and how you blushed whenever he would say something suggestive, he loved you when you get mad at him for not taking care of himself, he loved knowing that someone cares about him, he loved you.

Leo Valdez x Child of Apollo ✶ ₊ ⊹

Pairing(s): Leo Valdez x Gn!Reader

A/n: I’ll probably do a child of Apollo one where they’re the opposite of the stereotype lol

Honestly if you’re a child of Apollo then you’re more likely than not extroverted and more into the arts

So going off of that you’re definitely outgoing and pretty much the personification of sunshine

That’s what Leo notices about you when he first sees you

And seeing that people who are out of his league are his type, it’s an automatic attraction

Most likely introduced to you through the infirmary

Will and your other healer siblings were busy with more injured people and Leo was there due to some invention gone wrong

So when Will leaves after settling him,the last thing he expected was to see you

You began helping him and he wouldn’t be too surprised if you pointed out his drooling

Your gentle touches and soft voice, plus your patience and upbeat attitude really just made him simp even more lmao

After that he was practically begging annabeth to officially introduce him but that never really ended up happening cuz she’d just shoo him away

That however, changed when he was shown around and given a chance at handling other weapons

Once he got to the archery part of it he was absolutely terrible

He was pretty bummed out but when he noticed then switching out helpers, much to his surprise you were actually there

Once again handling and gently guiding him even when he failed terribly

He decided to shoot his shot (haha get it?) and he made the worst joke/pick up line known to man

He was so embarrassed especially since it came out half assed and said through his stutters

Then you laughed

You were so gorgeous and just honestly so attractive that once you left, Jason and Piper had to drag him away because of how mesmerized he was

Of course the two of you share more interactions, even before you got together

But once you do make it official? He’s honestly just the best and and likes watching you heal others (even if it comes off as uncomfortable or creepy-)

Plus he uses you to secretly heal his injuries without getting the backlash of being scolded

+ he gets to spend time with you

What really makes him confess to you, if he hadn’t already-

Would be pretty stereotypical and kinda cringe but please bare with me

So it all happens when at the nightly campfire and your siblings- in traditional Apollo spawn fashion, decide to sing some songs and play some instruments

- which isn’t exactly a rare occurrence

Apollo children get many talents in the arts and you just happen to be one of those people-

Once you finish Leo is so mesmerized that Jason had to shake him out of it

And if his jaw was on the floor, he’s guilty as charged

He’d probably confess by doing something spontaneous and would probably accidentally confess in front of your whole cabin

🚶‍♀️honestly can’t even say anything since you agreed to be his s/o

Most times he’d probs just love to watch you heal others and just be in your presence

Even if it could come off as creepy or uncomfortable sometimes….

Anyway, he’d definitely love to ask you to heal him especially in secret so he doesn’t get scolded

—And then he ends up getting scolded by you too …

Well not only were you seen as kind in his eyes by your always help with whatever you could: arts and crafts, music and other things you could lend your guidance

Because of how much you tend to be nice - it def left him shook when you suddenly got a little attitude

And ofc it’s when he decided to sneak in your cabin, wake you up, all cuz he wanted to do a nighttime rendezvous

I meannnnn who are u to decline??

So you do, yknow half unconscious basically being dragged along and Leo ended up learning his lesson to not interrupt your beauty sleep

Especially when it’s morning and he asks what that was all about

Then you’ll go on to explain during night just isn’t the ideal time of day for an Apollo kid

Plus add a “never do that again “

And he never will 🫠

Mostly out of fear

He learned his lesson

Anyway-

We all know how Leo is

He uses humor to cover up how vulnerable and sensitive he truly is

And he was admittedly afraid to pursue a relationship especially because you have to be open

And being open with his emotions would mean having to be basically stripped naked and seen at his core for who he really is

It’s only when you accept him and comfort him when he’s insecure -

That he realizes that maybe he was silly for thinking that way in the first place

Ofc you still have to bare with him and his shenanigans, plus the injuries he gets from them

You still love him at the end of the day ofc despite how often he gets hurt

Then you just cuddle and hope not to be ripped to shreds by harpies 🫠😭

Atleast you can heal him and go back to bed immediately LMAOO

Because of how upbeat you are, your reassurance and comfort to Leo really helps him out

I mean how could he be so pessimistic around someone so optimistic and energetic

So of course he returns to his charming and ridiculously cringe self

He’s really just grateful to be dating you

Especially for that fact you’ve never snitched when he would sneak out and stuff

If you were to ever make him a poem or anything he’d probably fluster/cringe

I mean you probably know it’s cringe which is why u even showed him lol

However, the day Leo mentions haikus you tell him to please shut up before you here the familiar voice of your father from afar.

I love the detail in Heroes of Olympus of how when the seven first set off on the ARGO II, they go out of their way to make sure they protect their friends. Like they all had each others backs and stuff, as you would expect.

BUT

Later on in the last book they’re all just exhausted and want to get this quest over with already and so it’s just like “look, I just fought off TWO WHOLE FLOCKS OF GRIFFINS, it’s your turn stand watch, I’m going to BED”
