Neptune vs. Venus Beauty

This is my own observation, so take it with a grain of salt.

🪞 Neptune beauty is when you zoom out of a picture, and you only see the best features that stand out. Bad features are hidden and blurred. Angles are extremely important. Everything is positioned purposely to create a specific impression or feeling, but you wouldn't know it's on purpose. Photography is ruled by Neptune. Neptune 1st house/dominants would intuitively get what I mean. You only see what Neptunians want you to see but never know it's all intentional.

🪞 Venus beauty is when you zoom in a picture, and every single detail is still perfect. Their pores are so tight that you can't even notice. Their skin is super smooth. Every feature is elegant, no matter what angles. Venus beauty with Taurus influence is more genuine, realistic, and detailed. Their natural face is pretty that they don't need much makeup.

🪞 Neptune 1st house/dominants may have certain features that are extremely beautiful and unrealistic in sizes, shapes, colors (very big round eyes, purple eye colors, big pupils, plum lips, etc.). People mostly focus on those out-of-this-world features that they ignore or forget their other imperfect features that are covered up very well.

🪞 Venus 1st house/dominants may have all pretty and feminine features and almost no imperfections, but their features are more common and average in sizes, shapes, colors, etc . Each feature doesn't stand out separately, but together, they harmonize perfectly.

🪞 Neptunians may have a short or rounder face. They may have big round eyes, which gives off their innocence. Their pupils are huge as if they're wearing lenses. The gap between their eyes and lips are close, making them look like anime character. Their cheeks may be a bit more full, which give them a baby effect.

🪞 Venusians may have an oval or longer face. Their ratio is perfect, not too big or too small but balanced. Their features are thinner and more delicate than usual (thin eyebrows, small cheekbones, delicate lips lines), which gives off their femininity.

🪞 Neptunians change their appearance with different makeup styles, clothes, hairs, surgeries, etc. They fit the glamorous styles. They experience all kinds of styles that transform them into their ideal dream self.

🪞 Venusians, with Taurus influence, look the best with light and minimal makeup that showcases their natural beauty.

🪞 Neptunians give off an image of a baby or kid. Venusians give off an image of a maiden.

🪞 Neptune's features may be a bit more chubby than Venus's, which are more delicate.

🪞 Neptunians look naive, while Venusians act sweet.

🖤Aspects to the moon may indicate the kind of food you enjoy:

- Moon/Mars - spicy, grouding and warm foods such as soups, stews, chili, anything with spice, may be prone to enjoy heavier foods--also may be prone to enjoy quick meals and foods that provide a quick burst of energy

- Moon/Venus - nourishing foods that support a sense of well-being, satisfaction, and happiness such as fruits and vegetables

- Moon/Mercury - brain foods, snacks, likely eating on the go

- Moon/Jupiter - foods from different cultures, may like all kinds of cuisine, is a foodie in some ways lol I have this and I can relate

🖤Gemini/Sagittarius like learning new languages and have a knack for learning about foreign culture, may be EXTRA passionate when the sign is in Mars or is in the 3rd house

🖤Aquarius IC or Aquarius in the 4th house indicates that you may have felt misunderstood or outcasted as a child--asteroid Lilith in Aquarius or in the 4th may indicate this as well, and with harsh aspects may signify b*llying or unwelcome childhood experiences

🖤Mercury conjunct Venus allows you to be well-received when you speak about your interests or things you like and enjoy, people are naturally inclined to want to hear you speak about the things you love

🖤North Node conjunct MC indicates you are destined to achieve great things in life and succeed rather easily. If Mars is involved positively, then you have a high chance of being well-recognized for your accomplishments

🖤In the Ascendant persona chart, Venus and the Moon indicates the kind of style that you feel most drawn toward and comfortable with, respectively. You may also admire this style when you see it on others. For example, in my Ascendant persona chart--I have Venus in Taurus in the 6th house and the Moon in Aquarius in the 3rd house. I often find myself liking the classic style that is functional, simple, yet chic and makes a statement. Like you just know what the hell I'm about through my style.

🖤Pisces Ascendant tends to have watery eyes, if they aren't in a good space it will show through their eyes and people often will find themselves staring trying to discern what is the matter.

🖤You can know a Scorpio Moon for years and still not have a damn clue what they are actually into. As a Scorpio Moon, we can be reserved and secretive about our passions for some reason. It's like we are protecting what's ours because we don't want anyone to have the power to ruin it.

🖤Lilith in the 8th house and aspecting Ascendant - Sex symbol placement who may attract unwanted energy or "impure magnetism."

🖤You attract the sign on your 8th house cusp easily and these are the people who you've likely had the most meaningful or impactful sexual encounters with.

🖤The sign on your 9th house cusp may end up being the sign that you marry--as Jupiter is the ruler here, and Jupiter denotes the spouse traditionally. They may carry the characteristics of the sign or the planet that rules said sign.

🖤Neptune in the 3rd house is gifted with the ability to understand music in a more profound way. Another thing with this placement is their handwriting is often difficult to understand. Also, they are weird at texting just a bit--as sometimes it's unusual what they text about. Like no offense, but did I ask???

🖤Venus in the 1st house definitely has an eye for aesthetics. They can succeed easily when it comes to skills related to beauty. I have this placement and I have a natural affinity for makeup. I've come across many instances where someone has asked me to do their makeup.

🖤Mercury/Venus in Aries is prone to hurting others easily and often without realizing. I have these placements as well and I've often had to take a good look at myself when someone indicates I've hurt them. The childlike essense of Aries makes things like this harder to discern.

🖤Saturn in 3rd house - can be exhausted easily through thinking or focusing too hard, may exhaust a lot of energy through thinking or communicating, may need to recharge social battery more often

🖤Mars on the other hand represents what energizes you. Mars in the 2nd can indicate food, money or shopping can give a boost of energy and can easily make you feel charged up. So long as it’s not poorly placed or aspected, then the effects are mostly positive.

🖤Ruler of 10th house in 3rd house - career is based in communication, teaching, sharing knowledge as a resource

🖤Ruler of 8th house in 2nd house - resources and money may come through others, especially if placed well it can be quite sustainable, sugar mama / daddy placement and being able to support oneself through others’ money and resources, should be careful though

🖤Ruler of 2nd house in 1st house - money and finances may come through Venusian affairs, an ability to use one’s beauty to draw in money or to put Venusian talents to good use to attract money, such as people paying for one’s services

*doing makeup as a side hustle or being like a personal shopper

🖤Ruler of 4th house or Moon in 8th house - being privy to family secrets

🖤Ruler of 9th house or Jupiter in the 4th house can indicate traveling abroad with family - I have this and my first trip abroad to Paris was with my grandparents (Jupiter also represents grandparents in Astrology), it can also indicate schooling or higher education being funded through the family

🖤Pluto in the 9th house indicates being an authority on occult topics or being someone who has access to more taboo knowledge. Can become paranoid if not handled well. Needs to learn discernment. May feel secretive about beliefs and this can lead to others not trusting you.

Astrology Observations No.23

*just based on my experiences only take what resonates

Quite a few people with Chiron in Gemini are singers, talented ones too

We always talk about intuition of Pisces and Scorpio but Cancer placements are also crazy intuitive. I feel like you really can’t fool someone about how you’re feeling with Cancer in the big 6.

Air moons tend to catch feelings when someone is unavailable; earth moons tend to catch feelings when someone is more stable/ambitious than them; fire moons tend to catch feelings when someone is passionate and courageous; water moons tend to catch feelings when someone has sort of dreamy/otherworldly energy to them (that unspoken spark really gets to water moons)

If you wanna seduce Venus in 9th, travel with them or teach them something new

if you want to win over someone with Venus in 2nd/Taurus you should get them gifts (can apply to earth moons too imo- as long as the gift is useful or high end for them)

Quietly I think Capricorn in the big 6 can make you just as domestic as cancer in the big 6, but a Capricorn is usually going to talk about/pay attention their public image more

My partner said the only thing he can’t deal with is someone throwing it back in your face when you try to help them/give them advice (like the other person saying you don’t care or that you’re just in it for yourself) and yeah that’s Virgo mars

Moon square/opposition to the ascendant could have people assume you’re putting on a personality/faking something

Saturn in Pisces is another placement to make sure you watch your mental health, all of Saturn’s consequences come at your subconscious

Do water risings seem to have a theme of like not trying to let their perspectives be colored by some sort of sadness ? (Cancer Asc - nostalgia /which isn’t always sad but if you hear cancer placements talk about it then they often filter their own nostalgia through a certain sadness; Scorpio Asc - traumatic experiences that shaped their perspective; Pisces Asc - a feeling of like ennui, a certain kind of listlessness)

Neptune in the houses can show frequent locations if your dreams (3rd house- school, childhood neighborhoods; 4th house- childhood home, places you’d visit a lot with your family; 6th house the workplace; 9th house places you’ve traveled to or want to go to, etc)

Something we don’t talk about with Chiron in 1st is that it’s an energy amplifier imo. So when you’re healed you give off healing energy, but when you’re unhealed or even toxic you subconsciously spread that energy around (or maybe consciously, a lot of people I’ve known that belittle and nitpick others from a place of insecurity have Chiron in 1st)

If mars aspects your 4th house you may have grown up fighting and arguing a lot, especially with your family but in your childhood environment in general

Taurus placements will have their whole day impacted by a disappointing meal (especially moons- also mars imo)

Aries placements have trouble maturing sometimes bc their sign is then youngest of the zodiac (Pisces is the old man but this can make them unclear and disconnected too)

Aquarius in the big 3 (especially Aquarius moon) tend to be really good at playing detached and calculating (in real life too lol but I’m thinking of Rosamund Pike and how well she sold her cool girl speech from gone girl - she’s a double Aquarius) (also in real life people aren’t always so predictable/controllable so this calculating behavior can go sideways sometimes)

I love how the Pluto in Scorpio generation is making all of this mainstream art about transformation and healing generational trauma (everything everywhere all at once is what I was watching when I thought of this)

Also I’m still working on how to utilize degree theory best but Daniel kwan (one of the everything everywhere all at once directors) has Scorpio moon at a cancer degree (19) and his most acclaimed movie so far is about depression, trauma, and generational curses (I love everything everywhere all at once pls watch it, I cried 3 times when I watched it and I’m a Capricorn moon so you know that means a lot lol)

when i think cancer style i think: mom fits, elegant, demure, classically feminine, cozy, fluffy, high waisted, pearls, vintage, corsets, tote bags, bubble sleeves, showing or protecting the chest, maxi skirts and dresses, flowy, quality, puffy, layering, slip on shoes, etc.

scorpio (8°, 20°)

when i think scorpio style i think: seductive, dramatic, dark/intense colors, leather, silk, gothic, short skirts, formal ware, lace, high heels, trench coat, fishnets, shape ware, dainty jewelry, etc.

pisces (12°, 24°)

when i think pisces style i think: mermaid vibes, silk, crystals/gem stones as accessories, glitter makeup, fluffy, fur, bows, boots, new footwear, small tops, waist high, maxi dress/skirt, a mix of textures, belts, etc.

Some mini shit. As always, other aspects, placements, and signs might affect the ones that are mentioned here and it may not resonate with some of you.

► The yassification of Saturn in 1st House natives after their Saturn Return is something I will be always surprised by.

► Why is it when someone mentions something on a post (I've seen this on TikTok mostly) these Scorpio rising peeps would insist that they should be included? I've seen them argue that they are the ones who carry all of the Zodiac signs when the OP is talking about the Cardinal signs. I love y'all, just calm down.

► Pluto in Sagittarius generation (especially first decans) are unhinged. Keep up the good work, one day when those Pluto in Capricorn generation become adults you'll have someone to annoy with your values and views of the world.

► Speaking of decans. Yes, there is a HUGE difference between signs who are born in a different month (December Capybara - January Capybara, May Gemini - June Gemini, and so on) and it all depends on the decans.

► I just know Pisces risings are suffering with the transit Venus conjunct Saturn in their 12th House now lmaoooooo same.

► For those studying astrology for a long time now, try to dive into Zodiacal Releasing. If you are financially able to, take Chris Brennan's course. If not, there are tons of free resources floating on the net that talks about this.

► Not sure why you're attracting people with similar placements to one another? Try looking at your father's birth chart (or your mother's, if you identify as masculine). OR, You can also check the signs of asteroids related to relationships and whatnot. Don't talk to me, I've married a Moon in Cancer man and my father has this placement.

Hello! How are Pisces and Cancer risings different? They sound very similar in everything I’ve read.

hi! this is a great question and i love q's like these!! they definitely have a lot of overlap, both being water signs. however, here's some main difference in how their outward personalities may manifest:

OUTGOING VERSUS RESERVED:

pisces risings tend to be bubbly and outgoing! even when they're shy or anxious individuals, even when they aren't actually that social - when meeting new people, in new environments, when dealing with customer service: they're almost always very bright, cheerful and bubbly.

cancer risings come across as kind and caring, much like pisces risings, however - they generally are not what i would consider bubbly or outgoing! they tend to be a lot more reserved, and come off as more shy even when they aren't. pisces risings tend to chatter a lot, and enjoy conversing with strangers; cancer risings generally don't. they'd much rather stick to themselves and keep public interactions short.

OPTIMIST VERSUS PESSIMIST:

this one is pretty straight-forward! pisces risings lean towards optimism. they usually see the world through a dreamy, hopeful lens and like to look for the best in things. it's very hard to crush a pisces rising's ability to dream and have high hopes for the future. sometimes they can be almost delusional 😭 cancer risings do tend to lean more towards a more realistic (even pessimistic a lot of the time) view on the world and people around them. they aren't as trusting and hopeful as pisces risings tend to be, and often view the world through a cautious lens. sometimes they can be overly negative as compared to pisces who can be so positive it leads to a delusion/dream world.

ADVENTURER VERSUS HOMEBODY:

cancer risings are much much more of homebodies than pisces risings. pisces risings really enjoy going out and exploring, traveling, social events, etc. cancer risings have a shorter fuse and smaller social battery. they much prefer to stay at home, hangout with smaller groups of friends/just one friend, read at home, etc.

MOTIVATED VERSUS NEEDS MOTIVATION:

cancer risings are cardinal: they start shit. and i don't mean that in a bad way! they are the leaders, they get the ball rolling. they're always first to tackle projects, organize things, take on the boss position. pisces risings tend to lack motivation. it can be hard for them to start things, and very hard for them to finish anything. it can also be hard for them to lead as they're often more soft-spoken and have trouble telling others what to do; they prefer to follow. cancer risings are more firm and have no problem giving others directions. pisces do have amazing ideas and are so so creative; but they tend to lack the follow-through or planning. cancer risings are the ones always starting new projects. they're also more likely to be a workaholic as compared to pisces risings, who'd much rather be making their pinterest boards!

ANTI-CHANGE VERSUS FREE-FLOWING:

pisces risings go with the flow. they're mutable water, so they're extremely adaptable. they handle change easily; and probably experienced it so much throughout childhood that it's second nature. they generally seek out change and aren't huge fans of routine. you'll find pisces risings re-arranging their room at least once a week, and updating their personality/finding a new niche interest/changing career paths at least once a month. cancer risings are suckers for routine, and they don't generally like change. they'd much prefer to live in their hometown their entire lives, and you will not catch them re-arranging their furniture more than once every two business years. pisces rising would much rather move to a new country every year than be anywhere near their hometown. pisces has the eternal travel bug, cancer has the "let me stay within a 50km radius of my family/home at all times" bug lol.

some other little differences:

cancer risings are petty, they do not do the "forgive and forget"; pisces risings are very much the forgive and forget type (both parties to a fault, usually)

cancer risings, despite being very kind-hearted, can often come off as very cold at first! hard shell, as their representative animal would suggest. pisces risings are immediately very open and friendly with people

to add to that, cancer risings generally have a lot of walls up; pisces risings are open books

cancer risings are much better than pisces rising at deflecting people's negative vibes/comments; pisces risings are ridiculously influenced by their environment and people around them (ie: someone uses the wrong tone of voice, pisces rising might cry - cancer rising? not so much)

cancer risings tend to have more stable/consistent moods as compared to pisces risings (although this can also be a negative at times, when they're sad; it can last weeks, whereas pisces rising bounces back quite quickly)

pisces risings tend to have more sharp physical features, and generally look kinda fairy/elf like. cancer risings usually have softer features, and generally rounder features/faces as well

disclaimer: i also cannot stress enough that the ascendant, like any other placement, is only one piece of the puzzle! if someone has planets in their first house, strong aspects to their ascendant, a chart that really contradicts their ascendant, etc - the traits/etc listed above might not exactly apply. as always, the entire chart matters in interpretation ☺

hopefully this helps a little bit! let me know if you have any other questions!! <3 the ascendant is very much how we come off to others (outwardly/publicly especially), it's also how we view and interact with the world. it shapes our life path heavily and i consider it much more than just a "mask" as some people would say. i've also heard the interpretation (i think it was donna cunningham who said this but don't quote me on it) that the ascendant is who we were forced to become due to what we went through in our childhood!! which is an interesting way to view these placements. anyway!! tysm for asking this i missed getting astro q's!

Pisces placements (Sun, Rising, Venus) often have a hard time settling on one style and aesthetic.

As a mutable sign and the sign of the unknown, Pisces gives people the quality of constantly changing their appearance and morphing into different types of person visually.

You may be unable to find your best style or settle on one thing, but you can go from one type of look today to something completely different the next day like no other.
