Your posts in regards to astrology and fashion are really inspiring me. You’re the first I’ve seen focus on this and it’s amazing!

I’m curious your thoughts on my aesthetic. I saw your recent post on someone who has an Aries Venus and I definitely wear a lot of athleisure (adidas), and a black leather jacket, and then like romantic vibes like dark colors and lace and velvet. But then there’s another quirky side of me. The hardest thing for me is that I sometimes want to look lovely and feminine but don’t want to look girly bc ruffles look stupid on me. Thoughts?

Everything that you mentioned makes so much sense with your placements. Leo (your rising) likes to play around and have fun with style, Aquarius (your Sun) likes to experiment and try different things, and your Venus in the 8th house shows that you can be prone to going through very drastic changes in your appearance - in this case the type of style you go through.

Especially with your Aries Venus, I don't think that you should go for too girly looks anyway, but when you wear something more feminine and lovely as you put it, you should still add something that adds a little edge to your outfit. The "indie sleaze" style can have some outfits that are a good example of this - they can look a little more feminine, while still remaining edgy. You can also wear a more feminine outfit with a skirt and pair it with a leather jacket. ☽

With a Cancer Sun and Venus, you will look best with a softer style that focuses on comfort. Graphic t-shirts paired with cardigans or hoodies will be ideal on you. Especially with your Aquarius rising, you can go for some bold and crazy colors, patters or graphics. A teddy jacket or hoodie (or a nice knit cardigan) with a graphic T-shirt and jeans or a slightly more formal shirt and pants will be your best type of look.

You should also go for shirt that are a bit more loose and "free falling" on your frame, as opposed to tight, form-fitting shirts. Same goes for skirts and dresses - long, flowy, floor-lenght skirts and dresses will look magnificent on you.

You can also go for a boho style, as that will fit both your Cancer and Aquarius placements. ☽

Having Mars in an aspect with the ascendant, the ruler of the ascendant or Venus shows that you can be prone to having scars. The sign in which Mars is in can show the type of scars you are most prone to getting. I'm writing this focusing mostly on facial scars, but it can also apply on scars on other parts of the body.

Aries Mars can give all types of scars, since it's the sign related to them, but the most common types of scars are red spots and marks or scars that are in the form of a straight line.

Taurus Mars gives scars that affect the surface of your skin - scars are either pitted or raised, which causes your skin to be uneven when you look at it or touch it.

Gemini / Virgo / Capricorn Mars gives small scars. Gemini and Virgo are related to smaller things in general, while Capricorn is the sign of limitation and restriction, which can result in a smaller scar.

A Cancer Mars can play out in two ways, giving you scars that affect the texture of your skin, such as pitted/raised scars or scars that leave spots of pigmentation, such as red or brown spots.

Leo and Libra Mars gives hyperpygmentation scars - they don't affect the surface of your skin, but they leave darker spots.

People with Moon-Pluto aspects, Pluto/Scorpio in 4H, Moon in Scorpio/8H, Pisces/Neptune in the 4H or Moon in Pisces/12H really need a support group...

... they need a support group of other people with these placements, so they can get the understanding no one else may show them.

Scorpio and Pisces (and their ruling planets - Pluto and Neptune) can often bring manipulation and projection, so when they affect the family placements of your chart, you can often be judged and criticized by your family for everything and anything. The good things you do may be ignored, but the bad will always be brought to light, even if it's not something you've actually done or it's something you've done a long long time ago. Your family may accuse you of things you've never done too.

The way you react to this criticism and judgement is also not approved by those around you and it's like no matter how you react, the other person won't be satisfied by your reaction - quite the opposite, your reaction will further anger them, no matter how tame or loud it is.

This is why people with these placements can get extra careful with those around them when they sense their family members are in a bad mood. It's also why people with these placements get so good at gouging other people's reactions and moods.

Having Pluto in a conjunction, square or opposition to your ascendant (or it's ruler) or Venus can bring major trauma related to your appearance.

The kind of trauma that sticks with you for many years. Having both Cancer and Leo placements makes it a bit tricky to navigate makeup.

99% of makeup looks end up looking too strong on your face and just don't look right, no matter how well done they are.

Even though Leo placements thrive with stronger and bolder looks, when it comes to makeup, if there is Cancer in your appearance placements - Sun, Venus, rising - less is more.

For Cancer placements even soft glam makeup ends up too heavy and makes them look older or more tired. Cancers placements always looks best with less makeup and looks that accenuate their natural youthfulness.
