“how much longer?” you ask, leaning over your boyfriend's shoulder and peering at the screen in front of him. he’d been working on a paper for god knows how long and you just wanted 5 maybe 10 minutes of his time.

“we’ll never get to sleep if you keep fidgeting like that.”

Haechan's husky voice echoed in your ear, amid the gloom that hung over the room. He held you tighter, a gasp hitting the back of your neck. "Want to tell me what's going on?"

You turned around, now facing him. It was impossible to hide any feelings of unease from your boyfriend, and you knew that if you spoke, some of that feeling would go away. He was your biggest confidant, and you loved him for it. You loved him for many things.

"I have a feeling someone saw us today." He frowned, confused, and you continued. "I know we entered the resort separately, but I can't shake this feeling away. Any moment now I think your phone is going to start vibrating with notifications about a new dating scandal or something."

A few seconds passed before Haechan started to smile, which slowly turned into a loud laugh. You couldn't say the same about loving his sense of humor.

"Sorry, sorry. I just thought it was something more serious than that." Haechan took your hand, placing a kiss on your fingers. "The worst paparazzi always know we're together. They need something to threaten the company and keep getting paid. But disclosing any of that information without real evidence would do them more harm than good. And they don't have real evidence, because we have a great undercover agent around."

"So they know we're together now?"

"They know I'm with someone, but they have no idea who." He laced your hand in his, his thumb making small circles in your palm. "If I knew that was your concern, I would have explained it to you a long time ago. I didn't know you were still worried about it."

"Of course I still care about that. It's your career anyway. I would never forgive myself if I harmed you. You and the group."

"And that's why I love you." The sudden statement made you blush, which made Haechan smirk. You knew he did it on purpose, his teasing never lost its effect on you. They would probably never lose. "Now, let's have some rest. Where's my goodnight kiss?"

It was his turn to blush as you stood up, standing on top of him.

"I don't know if this will be enough for me." You said, and he smiled, knowing he had lost that battle. But the night was too long to say who would win the war.

it started off as more of a joke, sending jisung flirty texts while you knew he had tons of important meetings all morning. giggling into the phone when he called at lunch complaining about distracting him when he needed to focus.

now it became more of a common occurrence texting him about how you missed him and needed his cock at 10 am. or asking him if he could do that thing with his tongue when he came over. and he would still call at lunch and whine about how busy he was and if he could he would.

[12:01 am] You and Doyoung peacefully laid rest on the cold, wet ground. Although not ideal, you were grateful for the clear night sky.

“The moon is so beautiful isn't it?” he says. He intertwines your hands, noting your cold fingertips.

Your nose crinkles in protest, but he insists, draping his coat over you.

“Hey, don’t fall asleep on me. Not yet,” he wavers, pressing your bodies closer, the lack of warmth unwelcoming.

“C’mon, don’t-” he calls out, voice much more airy. He nudges you awake.

Doyoung didn’t know when you seized to breathe, the silence overtaken by the sound of sirens arriving at the sight of your limp body against his outside of the car crash scene.

pairing: huang renjun x fem reader

warnings: mention of being drunk (and weight, at first), sliiightly suggestive

“Damn, how did you get so heavy in just a few hours.” said Renjun, struggling to walk you towards his car.

You are nearly passed out when he got to the party and saw you hugging Jisung. The latter felt uncomfortable because you were clinging onto him longer than you thought like you owe him your life or something. When Jisung saw Renjun emerge from the crowd, he felt relieved that there will be someone to take you home because first, he doesn’t want to intrude to yours and well, he doesn’t want to bring you with him at their dorm, either. (Just the thought of Chenle teasing him to death is painful enough for him to think)

He waved at Renjun to get his attention and when he did, Jisung points at you mouthing ‘she’s drunk’ while you’re still hugging him. Renjun looks like he’s seen you like that before but still let out a sigh of relief since it’s Jisung you’re clinging onto this time.

At least you’re in good hands tonight, rather than hugging total strangers like last time.

But before Renjun got to you, your friend Karina, talked to Renjun first. You can’t hear what they’re talking because of the loud music coming from the speakers that surrounds every corner of the house, but you have an idea on what it might be, so you loosen your cling on Jisung’s neck and waits for Renjun to pick you up. A few minutes later, you heard Renjun apologizing and thanking Jisung. He tries to get you off of him and you obediently do so. You’re clinging on Renjun’s neck now, back hugging him as he walk past a couple of people to leave the party.

You murmured something like ‘am not heavy’ but Renjun didn’t hear that. He wasn’t aware that you’re half awake, nor sane, considering you drank too much. He just thought that you’re blabbering because who will be in their right mind after drinking for 6 hours straight?

“Why are you even drinking this much if you can’t handle your own?” he said. ‘Always making me your chauffeur.’

“Well, at least my chauffeur is a lot more handsome than other chauffeur.” you smiled. He is taken aback by what you said, noticing that he slowed his pace as you slowly reaches his car.

“Stop murmuring, you sound and look like a witch.” he returns, in which you giggled.

“If I look like a witch, then why did those guys want to take me home?” you said as you tilt your head, trying to peak on his reactions.

After hearing what you said, he immediately stops on his track, both of you near to his car.

Renjun raises an eyebrow, “‘those guys’? ” irritation clearly evident on his voice. “So Jisung isn’t the only one you clung onto?” he asked you.

You let out a hum and taps his shoulder. A few tries to get you off of Jisung and offers to take you home but you wouldn’t budge. You know he’ll come for you either way, so you cling on Jisung until the end. Bonus thing is that you proved you’re not wrong.

“Put me down,” you sluggishly said. “I can open the car door on my own. Thanks.”

“No.” he said firmly. Is he mad?

“Put me down, Renjun. I'm not drunk”

“Stay put or I’ll leave you here for people to see. It wouldn’t be so great if you go to school tomorrow and all the people’s talking about is how drunk you are that you end up sleeping outside Lia’s house.”

You stay still as he instructed, let him ramble, and maybe nag you while he open the door to his car. You love this feeling as this feels like he cares for you dearly. You know your friend, Renjun, he doesn’t like to show what he’s feeling most of the time. He’s cold and distant that other people feels he’s too serious and too reserved for them. Not that he mind though, it favors him actually.

He only stopped talking as he put you on the shotgun. You feel him grab the seatbelt and scooch over to tuck you in. As he lower his head to put your seatbelt on, his neck facing your mouth, you’re sure that he can feel your breathing. The playful part of you thought to tease him a bit, so you lean a little closer, and whispered,

“You smell so nice.” then you give his neck a small kiss and smirks, watching as his adams apple go down, swallowing the lump in his throat. Renjun backs out to close the door and went to the driver's seat, muttering.

"God, please give me longer patience for tonight."
