Confession: Kakashi HatakexOC!Kaede
Description:  After years of friendship with the Copy Ninja, Kaede finds herself troubled. What will happen when the woman finally has enough, and how will her best friend, Kakashi Hatake, react? (I’m bad at descriptions, forgive me. This is also a scene from a series I was wanting to write but I don’t know if I’ll ever write the whole thing, I still think some of the scenes written for it though need to be shared.)
Characters: Kakashi Hatake, Kaede Inuzuka, Ami (Ninja Hound)
Kaede’s Character Sheet/Ami’s Character Sheet
Word Count: 1828
Warnings: none, fluffy, cute Kakashi, inuzuka!oc, be gentle with me I’m nervous,
The moon was oddly bright tonight, Kaede thought. She could see the shadows its full form cast down across the village as she wandered through the empty streets with Kakashi and her ninja hound, Ami. Ami stuck close to her for the most part, especially when there were still other people out and about but as it grew later the crowd thinned to zero and she started to explore, coming back to check in every few minutes before bounding off again. Kaede felt the hound’s golden gaze on her, Ami checking in on the kunoichi once again until her fingers ruffled through the brown fur. Content for now Ami brushed her head against Kakashi’s hand down at his side before trotting over to sniff at some trash cans nearby.
Kaede couldn’t help but have her heart warmed by her ninken’s actions, knowing that Ami was only checking in with her this frequently because she could sense the nervousness coming off the young woman. Really, she shouldn’t be surprised. Ami had been like that since the beginning. Though she was now a giant wolf hybrid capable of destroying enemies with little effort, day-to-day Ami’s shy and almost self-consciousness was unique, always sticking close to Kaede’s side and if not her only following Kiba and now Kakashi. Using them as a shield from unknown people was natural as it eased her nerves. Kaede knew this fact for sure because just like her partner, the woman leaned on Ami for support when she wasn’t feeling confident enough.
Thankfully, not many knew this, always just assuming Ami stuck to Kaede’s side 24-7 because of her own nervous demeanor when the truth was, Kaede leaned on the animal’s support just as much. In fact, the only ones who knew were limited to Kiba and, now, her closest friend. There wasn’t much that escaped the Copy Ninja’s eye but if he had noticed the real reason for Ami’s behavior, he said nothing.
Instead, the pair walked on in silence, Kakashi’s hands shoved into his pockets since for once his book wasn’t in either hand. He looked around the dark village, watching Ami and smiling every now and then when the canine did something he found amusing. With Kaede on his right he didn’t have to turn his head to see her, watching her from his peripherals and letting the comfortable silence spread.
Kaede on the other hand stared out ahead but saw nothing, hands also in her pockets but she wasn’t as relaxed as her friend, her left coming out every few seconds to pull at her braid and the right clutching the leather bracelet she kept with her with white knuckles, thumb brushing over the braided material back and forth. It was when the moonlight hit a small puddle in their path from the rain earlier that day, shining into her black eyes that she focused her gaze. The smallest shake of her head she looked at her surroundings quietly until her gaze lifted and landed on the bright moon. Kaede stared, face washed in the cool white light, her feet stopped moving.
It took a couple steps for Kakashi to realize this and stopped as well, turning partially towards the woman, mentally debating on exactly what to say.
“Something wrong Kaede?” He calls, his voice getting Ami to perk her head up their way before continuing sniffing every fence. Though she still had her gaze focused on the moon, Kakashi could tell he jolted her out of her head. He didn’t know she had made up her mind.
“You and I are good friends, right Kashi?” Though he knew she was going to speak her voice still startled him, something telling him this wasn’t just a lighthearted question.
“I’d hope so,” he tries to jest, maybe to make her cheer up a bit. “Otherwise I’ve been a fool all these years.” Closing the distance he tried to hide his concern, her face still illuminated by the moonlight, bright enough to reveal freckles under the red clan markings on her cheeks.
“So I can tell you anything,” she finally met his gaze but the look she wore didn’t ease the feeling in his gut. “No judgment?”
Though her dark eyes were wide he knew she was serious. Kaede wasn’t often serious when she didn’t need to be so instead of asking the millions of questions in his head Kakashi decided to simply answer hers. “You can tell me anything.”
Kaede took a deep breath, her eyes closing for less than a second but when they opened something was different. For the first time he saw something like fear in them, her whole body was still and her face clearly forced into a relaxed expression. The way she looked at him, Kakashi couldn’t pull his eyes away, only managing to keep the part of his face showing calm.
“Kashi,” the nickname only she called him by holding an emotion he’d seen only once or twice before. “I care about you more than I have cared about anyone before. You’re…” she broke eye contact for a moment as she seemed to search for words, “special to me.” He knew what she was searching for when her eyes met his again, but it took everything in him to will his face into a calm, lighthearted mask.
“Kaede,” even saying her name was difficult so he tried again. “I’m no one special, Kaede.”
The vulnerable expression disappeared faster than it had come, her brows furrowing in frustration and eyes narrowed. “Kakashi Hatake, I may be falling for you, but I’m not falling for that shit.”
He nearly leapt back and away from the shinobi, “You. Are. Special. If no one else believe me when I say there is no other shinobi, man, or person that means more to me than you. And I’ll be damned if I can’t make you see it.”
Kakashi couldn't even get out her name before his back slammed into the nearby tree, its branches blocking out the only light. As he realized where he stood he realized the same spot both jonin had been standing was empty previously, and in that same moment a dark blur came forward and Kaede was there, inches from him.
Tilting his head down he met her eyes, the darkness of them searching for something, a reflection of hers in them. This time the shinobi had nothing to say, no words coming to mind but a clear question still there. No, this time all he could do was watch. Watch her as her hands reach up, taking his mask in them and pulling it down, under his jaw. Though her touch on his neck was light he felt her pull and met Kaede halfway, eyes fluttering shut.
If he expected for the kiss to be hesitant, which he hadn’t, Kakashi would have been wrong. This was Kaede. If there was one thing she wasn’t, it was hesitant. She dove in with all the passion he knew her to have, lips moving against his own, a force hard enough he could feel how chapped they were from her constant biting. What felt like both seconds and years later she pulled back, leaving him unable to open his eyes right away.
When he did he met the black of Kaede’s eyes, her face still close enough he could feel her breath on his skin. Taking a moment he saw that vulnerability was back, making her look so… human. Reminding him of the girl she was, the one he practically grew up with, the one he…
His brows pulled together, eyes curious as he searched her face. His gloved hands gently came to cup her cheek, the other feather light on her hip, all used to pull her to him once again. Eyes flickering from hers and her lips, Kakashi didn’t wait another second. Their lips met once more and it had a sense of urgency, moving together like they had been like this forever. As his hands secured themselves around her hips her fingers found his neck, tangling in the Copy Ninja’s wild hair.
Neither knew how much time had passed but reluctantly they parted for air, Kakashi refusing to let her go, his arms remaining around her waist. Both stood so close their foreheads pressed together, body heat shared.
“Why…”, he broke the silence, still gasping for air. “Why me?”
“Oh,” her smile was contagious as she laughed lightly. “For someone being able to see everything,” she tapped a finger to his left temple, “you sure are blind.”
It must’ve been the confusion on his face that caused her to laugh again. “Kashi, it was you the whole time.” Her dark eyes softened, hands holding his face, “It has always been you.”
A smile of his own twisted his lips up and he pulled the jonin in his arms closer once more, lips brushing.
Crash.
Kaede spun around so quickly Kakashi was surprised she was still in his arms. With all the energy surging through her Kaede was practically vibrating, leaving the man to hide his grin, and the revealed lower half of his face, in her hair. The shinobi was so ready to fight whoever had intruded on their moment that she only relaxed when her ninken trotted towards the pair, head down, ears and tail tucked looking as guilty as a dog could ever look.
“Ami,” she sighed. Kaede moved to crouch before the canine, letting her tuck her head into the woman’s chest so her hands could tangle in the thick brown fur of her shoulders. “What have I told you about messing with cats?”
The canine pushed deeper into Kaede, nearly knocking her over and just let out a deep ‘boof’.”
“My gods,” Kaede scoffed, “Ami you are not hungry enough to eat a cat.” With another indignant ‘boof’ Ami plopped to the ground. “Alright, we’ll get something to eat.”
Letting out an exasperated sigh, Kaede got to her feet so she could face the ninja once again, her tired expression transformed into a smile. “So,” she sidled up to him until she was against his chest, lifting her chin to see his face. While she spoke she casually set the black fabric back over his nose, tapping lightly. “How about we go somewhere less public? Somewhere this could come off and stay off?”
Kakashi didn’t miss the playful look in her eye, only faltering at another of Ami’s groans, “And, get some food.” She shook her head.
He smiled, “Of course, I know just the place.” Leaning forward he pressed his covered lips to her hairline, his smile so wide she could feel it before they separated. Taking a few steps back towards the street he turned back, holding a hand out towards her, “C’mon, let's get out of here.” She said nothing, but her wide smile was enough of an answer as she took his hand and let him lead her home.

My thoughts on Light's sexuality
Light makes the most sense if you read him as an aroace man (who is also gay in a very specific nearly-hypothetical way) who's completely functionally heterosexual. By which I mean he's capable of performing heterosexuality both romantically/sexually (if it's beneficial to him), without feeling (too) uncomfortable. He feels no sexual or romantic attraction towards anyone, however he is only capable of having (somewhat) close relationships with men who are his intellectual equals. He's a very homosocial character.
While I don't think Light would ever go out of his way to seek out a relationship for personal reasons, I could see him entertaining the idea of a life-partnership (in a queer-platonic-esq sense, though he wouldn't call it that) with a fellow man if he found one with whom he feels a strong sense of kinship with and who also happens to be extremely intellectually stimulating/challenging.
His disinterest in women as partners, while definitely fueled by his misogyny to a degree, at its core is because Light already finds nearly everyone extremely unrelatable to him, women and men alike, hence why, even if Light wasn't Mr. Sexism, women would still be excluded by default as potential partners because he'd want someone he'd feel the closest possible sense of mutual understanding with.
Considering finding such a person would be, quite literally, near-impossible, in a no-Death Note, no-Kira world, Light would most likely either be single for life (ideal) or married to a woman for the sake of keeping up appearances (not ideal, but he'd manage).
I think reading him as an aroace man (who is also gay in a very specific nearly-hypothetical way) is the most in-line with his canon characterization. That is of course, if we're analyzing how he's written in the text itself. If we're however, analyzing him from the standpoint of authorial intent- he's completely heterosexual.

Sometimes The S In ODST Is For Stupid
“Man, I gotta buy myself a ticket out of this outfit. Next thing, I’ll be asking one of the Spartans out on a date…if I could even tell the boys from the girls in that squad.”
Corporal Locklear, ODST, makes a bad, embarrassing choice. Fred-104 is calm and kind. When the world is ending and everything hurts, sometimes that's all it takes to get stuck in a guy's head.
...No matter how upset the guy in question might get about it.

"The halls of Buckkeep were packed with festival goers, rivers of people bumping into each other and richocheting around the castle, townspeople dancing around nobles, the notion of ranking washed away in the floods of wine, ale and liquor.
The walls were thick with Smoke that Regal was pumping in from every corner, servants stood in every alcove in every corridoor and room with censers, thick clouds pouring in from them and weaving between what little space remained in the crowds.
I pushed my way through, giddy with it, from around the corner, where I had quietly exited my bedchamber. The acrid essence of Regal's favourite past time had seeped even up to Chade's secret quarters where I had been resting, how thickly the plumes billowed this night.
Harvestfest was always a tumultuous occasion, but now with Regal managing the event, it was even more raucous than usual, overflowing with wine and tainted with the bitter edge of Smoke whether you were willing or no. As much as I enjoyed celebrating the Harvest, I had never enjoyed the Smoke as my peers seemed to, it fogged up my mind and made me feel isolated in the world. It made my mind quiet, and I couldn't sense the life around me, something I rarely lacked given my predilection with the Wit. It was one of the first times during Harvestfest I was able and allowed to enjoy the festivities, without Chade whispering in my ear or Shrewd's secondary tasks to distract me. I did have one mission to complete, though, although Chade had set no limits to the task, no deadline and no specific target.
Despite this, I had someone in mind.
My breath hitched when I saw him, weaving gracefully around people who somehow didn't notice his presence, as he elegantly slid past them without so much as touching them - a near impossibility with how densely packed it was. He noticed my gawking and flashed me a grin, effortlessly diverting his course towards me. I realised I had stopped dead and so attempted to move towards him, but seemingly my feet had turned to rope and lead simultaneously, tangling together and causing me instead to stumble towards the Fool. The contradiction in our movements seem to amuse him; the Smoke had never affected him like it did me.
As he approached, I noticed how his skin seemed to radiate light. The corridor we were in was dimly lit by sconces on the wall, sparsely arranged, no doubt again by Regal, to cast shadows and encourage debauchery. Despite this, the Fool seemed to shine. He was dressed in rich colours, deep purples and reds, with gold stitching seamlessly tying together the outfit. The contrast of the rich colours made his skin almost luminous. I was entranced by him, his movements put me in mind of the way light glistens on dancing water, of all the sunsets I had watched with Molly on the cliffs of Buckkeep, the way the sunlight echoed across the tips of the waves as those evenings grew darker. Those memories were tinted rose-coloured with childhood nostalgia and the excitement of my first true love, and why the way Fool glanced at me now made me think of them, I could not say. Likely the Smoke in the air, I resolved to myself bitterly.
"Fitz?" Despite the music and voices mingling all around us, his voice somehow pierced it all, like ringing bells to my ears.
I realised I had been stood still and silent, dumbfounded, just staring at him, for a beat longer than was acceptable, even amongst close friends such as we. I looked then into his eyes, and saw something in them I had only glanced briefly before. Quickly, his lips twisted into his usual mocking smile, and whatever it was I had seen in his colourless eyes vanished, replaced by his usual knowing stare. My tongue was suffering the same symptoms as my feet now, as I fumbled and tried to form a sentence. I quickly abandoned the idea.
"FOOL!" I had to shout, the cacophony of Harvestfest made it impossible to speak at a normal volume, let alone think straight.
"Fool, I-.. Can I.."
I wanted to be closer to him, for him to be able to hear me when I asked what I knew I wanted to ask him. My face felt flushed and hot, suddenly. Curse Chade for putting me up to this. Harvestfest was the perfect time to execute this secret task, but I cursed him nonetheless for leaving this to me when I had wanted simply to drink the nights away and forget.
The Fool leaned towards me, and jingled the gold bells on his collar as he sang,
"Oh Fitzy Fitz
I cannot hear you mumble amidst this clamour;
Let us outside, that I can better listen to your stammer!"
His riddles that usually so frustrated me tonight seemed endearing, and so when he ducked out of a concealed doorway on to a balcony I had never before seen, I mindlessly followed. I knew Buckkeep was a warren of tunnels and secret passageways, but I had foolishly assumed I had discovered all of them, or that Chade at least had led me through them at one time or another. I had never noticed this doorway before, and knew I had never before set foot on this balcony either. It was only a small and narrow balcony, empty of crowds, with views across the town and out to sea.
The wolf in me noted gleefully that it was a full moon. I took this to mean that the outdoor air had cleared some of the intoxication from my mind.
The fresh, cold air emboldened me, and so I took a step towards my friend, who had turned back to face me. As I did so, I realised my mind was not as clear as I had hoped and clumsily I tripped over the doorframe and fell towards him. I reached out and inadvertently grabbed his slender wrist to steady myself, expecting him to crumble beneath my weight, but he was much stronger than he appeared. I had never been this close to him before. I leaned in even closer. It was intoxicating.
If I had thought his skin was radiant before, in the light of the full moon he seemed to glow. I noticed absently that my fingers encircled the circumference of his entire wrist, and the cool skin beneath his silk sleeve that looked so fragile was actually pushing back against my grip with surprisingly strength. He was not attempting to escape my grasp, but pressing back silently until his fingertips brushed the edge of my jawline. Ice cold, but not unpleasant, the touch sent shock waves through my entire body. I didn't understand why such a light brush of his fingers could illicit such a response from my entire body but it was like I had been struck by lightning. We were frozen together, and as I stared into his eyes, from such a position I again caught that shift, a meaningful glance I could not fathom. I had seen it before, but now the familiar Fool's smile I had come to know played softly across his features, melting into a gentle expression I had never had the pleasure to witness.
I found I could not look away, and the task Chade had set before me no longer felt like a challenge at all.
He had enlisted me to practice romantic subterfuge, to perfect the art of seduction to further my own causes as part of my assassin's training. I had originally intended to seek out Molly, but given that she was no longer speaking to me, I had assumed I would instead flirt with one of the kitchen maids.
Chade set this task over eight days ago, and simply said to take as long as I needed to, not to rush it. The old man had seemed very smug about this and implied he had expected me to struggle with this task, but impressed to me the importance of it. I shivered when I imagined him using the art of seduction - the Pocked Man flirting with anyone seemed a fantasy too far fetched.
It was only in the last few days that I had considered the Fool. He was my friend, and I was merely going to ask him to practice flirtation with me, he was one of few who knew and understood my training. I trusted him and felt if I were to be as terrible as Chade insinuated, I would be less embarrassed if I inflicted my clumsy attempts on my friend the Fool. He also had a way with words I had seen noone else in the Keep exhibit and so I had assumed I could perhaps take notes from him. I had even sought to ask his advice on who to target for this romantic task. Despite his infuriating and tricksy language, when decipherable, his words were often very wise.
Until this precise moment, though, I had not considered even remotely that I could kiss the Fool. For some reason, though, tonight I could think of nothing else. I was very aware of his lips, inches from my own, and the way he seemed to see into my very soul, I was almost wary he could sense what I was thinking, for he did always seem to have some sense of my intentions. Perhaps I was drunk, for I leaned ever closer to him, placing my right hand on the pillar behind him, now almost fully embracing him. The air between us felt charged, and I was very aware how little of it there seemed to be between us now. His expression had not changed, it was still a soft, almost triumphant smile, and his gaze had never once wavered from mine. Like marble, his skin was smooth and seemed to give off a cool air, like being near a spring on a warm day. I was privately impressed by his demeanour, until I considered that he had likely been briefed by Chade or overheard him discussing this task with Shrewd. For some reason this annoyed me, and I didn't dare delve deeper into that emotion for the time being. I wanted to simply exist in this moment without questioning.
I leaned in for the last time, intending to close the last of the electric space between us."

New Icon! I made it Tumblr sized so no big picture. I seem to change my icon every 3-5 years and figured I should update. And yes, it's still sky/space based, it would not be my blog if I did not make it so.
New:
Tumblr media
Background image is from James Webb, which I love seeing the new pictures as well as the comparisons to the Hubble, it's almost like night and day to me and it's so beauitful. It's of Herbig-Haro 46/47 (it's the red/pink in the bottom right-hand corner). And Lum because she's another favorite character of mine.
Old:

Come, Let Us Teach You
Fandom: DBZ
Pairings: Reader x Vegeta, Reader x Nappa, Reader x Raditz
Words: 3.6K
Rating: M
Warnings: Sayian Reader, Mating Cycles/Heats, Ginyu Force, Dark Frieza, No protection, probably more, I will update as we go lol
One | Two | Three | Four |  Five | Six | Seven | Eight | Nine | Ten | Eleven | Twelve | Thirteen | Fourteen | Fifteen |
It had been rough. Normally it took more than a few words and some pushy men to get under your skin. However the cold prince had managed to shake you up, and after the little run in with Jeice, you were a little bit more cautious than normal. While you had been on alert the three men seemed to carry on like they normally would. Being brutes and thinking about nothing other than training, eating, and trying to get under your skin. While it normally got on your nerves, you were silently glad that they were all acting normal, something you could hold onto and remind yourself that you were just letting your thoughts get the better of you.
The simple missions you were sent on came and went without much fuss. The four of you went, got the job done, and returned to train some more. It was a simple routine, and one you were alright with. The one complaint you had however was the last few missions were simple, and boring. They were nothing but patrolling missions, watching over other planets and making sure that everything was in order.
Personally you felt like it was a dig at you, and you were getting annoyed by it, but you kept these thoughts to yourself. You were still recovering and as it had been demonstrated you couldn't trust anyone to keep their mouths shut. So you had decided that it would be best if you took a few steps back and just kept most of your thoughts to yourself, just in order to avoid risking the unnecessary trouble. This however also included making sure that you never had enough time to sit down and just relax, always needing to be on the move and keeping up with tasks, no matter how small.
Finally you guys had been sent on a mission made for a Saiyan, one that had you relaxing ever so slightly. You could finally get back to doing what you had come to do best, obliterating planets and seizing control over others. Each of you had departed in your own pods, knowing it was a much faster mode of transportation. It had been a while, and while no one outright said that they were excited, each of you silently knew just by your own actions. Everyone was ready to go and quick to head out, wasting no time in making the necessary preparations.
Having arrived on the planet first you stepped out and adjusted the guards that sat on your wrists. You had been wrapped up in keeping busy that this was just about a vacation for you. As you stood there watching over the little village at the base of the cliff you could hear the hissing before the three other pods dropped to the ground one by one.
Standing there you paid little attention to them as they one by one got out and stretched from their rides. You were watching the little aliens going about their lives below. This was a planet that was to be harvested and used for storage. So it wasn't important to kill everyone, however it always wasn't required to spare any lives, just so long as the planet was turned over for Frieza's rule.
"You're not having any second thoughts about your job, are you [y/n]?" Nappa piped up in amusement. You could feel the corner of your eye twitch up at the comment. It was bad enough they thought of you as a lesser Saiyan, and even worse that they knew that you had little to no idea about how your own race really worked.
"Probably doesn't want to make this one a mess, seeing as there were no direct orders to demolish everything." Raditz added, stepping towards you, a grin dancing along his lips. Taking a deep breath you tried your best not to respond, knowing that they just wanted to rile you up, to have you lash out at them again. You knew how much they enjoyed watching your attempts at fighting them, however when you hear that entitled chuckle fall from the Prince's lips you weren't even going to give him a chance to add his two cents.
Your hand lifted without a second thought as a hellishly bright ki blast charged from the palm of your hand before you lifted it above your head and threw it towards the village. There was silence behind you, as was the air before the sound of the blast hitting ripped through it. The cackling of flames and the desolation of the little buildings filled the air with screaming.
The silence continued as you watched the destruction build before your eyes. None of the men spoke again, probably all speechless as to what you had just done. Glancing over your shoulders you eyed each of them, relishing in their stunned expressions,
"Sorry, were you boys not ready to get started? I was pretty sure Zarbon wanted a report by o'five hundred. So we best get this over with so we can report back in time." you said, breaking them from the trances they have been placed into. Stepping forwards and off the cliff you floated on down towards the horrific scene, knowing it wouldn't take long for them to follow suit.
.
The first village was simple. Your attack had actually managed to kill them all, leaving no survivors. Which made it easier when you found the next village to have them surrender to live under Lord Frieza's rule. A smirk danced along your lips, revealing your canines as the village leader knelt before you, and for a moment you understood why Frieza was so obsessed with power. However you shook the thoughts from your mind, knowing how much it filled you with hate to kneel before that monster.
You were about to tear your gaze away from the man on the ground when a sudden ki blast hit you in the arm, causing you to hiss out in pain. A burning sensation rising in your arm, causing it to throb as you turned in the direction it had come from. You should have known it had been too easy so far. Here was your heroic crew coming to put a stop to your reign of tyranny. Tensing up you were ready to charge the attacker, when you had realised it was already being taken care of. It was five against three, however you already knew who was going to win this fight.
Looking back at the man with a warning glance he continued to tremble. Knowing he wasn't going to be a problem you instructed he better warn his village of their new status before turning your attention to the fight. You watched as three of them tried to team up to take down Nappa, a scoff escaping at the very idea. However what you noticed most was the way his muscles tensed and rippled as he easily deflected the attacks all with a sick laugh. But just this once, that display caused you to want to look closer, to watch him take on more.
However you hardly noticed you were starring, watching as he easily snapped the attackers in two with ease. Something you once would've felt sick over watching, something that might have even made you cry. However watching it now you couldn't help but find it, arousing?
Then you could feel yourself pale. It was like you were suddenly aware of it. How could you have been so reckless, how could you have forgotten about this!? Just as you realised what time it was, you could feel two sets of eyes on you and you visibly gulped. Lip turning up in a disgusted look you narrowed your gaze towards Raditz and Vegeta, both who stood there with their eyes on you.
"Well!" you snapped, "If Nappa is almost done, I suggest that we finish this mission. The clock is ticking." You ordered. The two glanced between one another before nodding at your order, Nappa quickly following suit. Thus you made sure all three of them were busy the entire time in order to finish the mission and head back as quickly as possible.
However it hadn't seemed to be enough. No matter how hard you tried to keep the air of professionalism with them, they all continued to jest. Leaving all of the hints that made you want to rip off their tails and mute them with it. However the longer the mission dragged on, the more you wanted to mute them with your lips against theirs. The disgusted feeling continued to pile up, leaving you silent - not trusting yourself enough to retort to their jabs. Instead you took it upon yourself to pull out your scouter and report back to Zarbon, that the mission was completed and that further details would be given in the next meeting with Lord Frieza.
Without wasting any time waiting for the three who were finishing up the last village that had tried to rebel, you climbed back into your pod and headed back to the main ship, not being able to stand it much longer. Not around them in general, and especially not during this time. The ride back seemed to be increasingly longer than you had remembered on the way there. A small groan slipped past your lips as you tried to relax until you reached your destination, relishing in the fact that you were alone for the next little while.
Arriving back on the landing docks, you didn't even stop to look at the soldiers who took the ship to inspect and store. All you knew was you needed to be alone, and you had to make it back to your room without running into any unwanted visitors. After catching yourself drooling over the others earlier, you just didn't trust yourself. You were also pretty sure that drinking would end up even worse, especially after last time.
You wasted no time in retreating straight to your room, making sure to lock the door behind you. A heavy sigh fell from your lips, a breath you hadn't known you had been holding. Shutting your eyes your jaw clenched almost painfully as your teeth ground against one another. You couldn't believe just how close of a call that had been, how easily you had let the days slip past you. Running your fingers through your [h/c] your body was lounged against the back of your door.
After a moment of collecting your thoughts it was settling in, a warmth that was starting to consume your body, a burn that you knew wouldn't go out until it was satisfied with the mark it left on your body. Peeling yourself from the door, you couldn't stop the unmistakably vulnerable look that reached your expression in the moment of solitude.
Stepping away from the door you made your way around the little room that you had, removing the gear you wore and put it away in the spot you had designated for it, leaving you in the blue spandex outfit that you were currently sporting. However the sound that filled your senses was something you had been expecting but had been so desperately hoping you wouldn't hear, a soft rapping against your door. You let out a frustrated groan and turned stalking towards the door, yanking it open with an unimpressed face that greeted the typically grumpy face of your prince.
"[Y/N], we need to talk." he started, only to let his scowl deepen when you saw the irritation flash across your features, "Don't roll your eyes at me, you know we have to go over a fair amount of things. Mostly regarding the incident." he started, his voice stern, and leaving little room to wiggle out of. Holding your ground for a moment with your eyes locked you grudgingly stepped aside and shut the door, locking it to make sure no one would come in. If you were going to talk about what happened with Frieza, you weren't about to risk anyone else knowing about the one thing that had gotten you ruffled so badly.
Vegeta wasted no time in entering the room and making himself comfortable on your couch, watching you expectantly. You glared at him, challenging, and deciding to stand against one of the walls instead of joining him on the couch. However this didn't upset him like you had wanted it to, instead he seemed as if he couldn't care less and that bothered you even more.
"Well then get to it" you snapped. That caused a flash of irritation to reach his expression, and a feeling of satisfaction to reach you in response.
"Well for starters, that attitude right there is what got you into trouble in the first place. You have no self control and that is plain to see." he started, his expression rough and disapproving. You would have laughed, it was like he was here scolding a child. He started to speak, his tone clearly unimpressed, and you were well aware that he was lecturing you, but your mind was more focused on taking in the way his shoulders were rising and falling with his breaths, the muscles that were exposed with his arms.
Your eyes trailed over his body slowly, completely off in your own mind. It was when he sighed that you snapped from it, lifting your gaze back up to his face. He looked like he was ready to burst in vain, he was clearly trying to take this seriously. However you couldn't stop the grin that was starting to spread across your face as you pushed away from the wall and moved towards him, purposefully adding a sway to your hips.
"Sorry, care to repeat that? I wasn't paying attention." you admitted, a coy smile dancing along your lips. You could see the irritated twitch in his face at your words, but he was trying to hold it together. However try as he might his eyes were drawn to your hips before they looked up at you slightly curious.
"As I was saying, [y/n], you need to be more aware of who you're talking to and when. You never know who else is around when you start talking bad about your superiors. Think it, don't say it." he repeated, more than likely summarising what he had originally said before. This time you heard him and you wanted to roll your eyes and ask if he thought you didn't already think about that; but you kept your mouth shut for now.
Closing the distance to stand in front of him, you saw the sternness starting tot turn into just sheer confusion. You were sure he picked up what time it was, however he spent your last one with you - you weren't like this at all. Without letting him speak you cradled his lap and grabbed the top of his armour and pulled him in for a heavy kiss.
And like that, the continued self control you had been carrying since you met the trio was snapped. He didn't protest, in fact you could practically feel him grinning against your own lips which caused you to dig your teeth into his bottom lip, earning a soft groan from the Sayian Prince. It was him who pulled away, his hands bracing your hips as he pulled back to look into your eyes, as if he was looking for something - as if he was looking for a sign of hesitation. Seeing this you narrowed your eyes and ground your hips against his own, causing another sound to fall from his lips.
Standing from the prince you stood slowly, removing the blue spandex tank top you had been wearing. A grin erupted over your face as you watched the Prince's expression. He looked like a starved wolf standing before a young deer; the kill was practically waiting to feed the wild animal's hunger.
"I know you enjoy the show, your highness - but don't you think you're a little overdressed?" you teased, watching as the hesitation that had been there moments before vanished. You could see it as the prince started putting it all together and he followed you up, removing his own armour. He followed you as you moved from where the couch was and led him towards your bed, making sure your hips swayed sensually in the process. However as you both approached the bed you turned to face him, glad to see the armour wasn't going to be a problem any longer. grabbing him by the suit, pulled him and tossed him towards the bed. While you had noticed that with healing your strength had increased, you still knew you were no match for Vegeta, at least not in the fighting sense.
His eyes were on your hardly clothed body as your fingers found his shoulders, pulling the blue spandex from his core and over his head, tossing it to the floor before looking at him through your lashes, the smallest hints of a smile playing on your lips. Never letting your fingers leave his skin you lowered yourself to kneel on the ground before him, your fingers working quickly to remove his bottoms and the undergarments he wore underneath.
Making quick to discard those both with the rest of his outfit, your fingers trailing along his cock easily. Slowly letting your fingers wrap around him you couldn't stop but think how funny it was how he was letting himself be bested by another. While you wanted to continue to tease the prince, to draw him out on the edge of need for as long as you could manage - you had something more important that needed to be tended to. Had it not been the very thing spurring you on in the moment, you might have gone along with your original plan; however that wasn't the case.
Letting your tongue dart out you licked it from base to tip, watching through your lashes as his head fell back and sheer please rolled from his tongue in an animalistic groan. The sound alone turned you on further and a glow growl responded before you took him in, letting your tongue tease his cock as you pulled back to the tip. You could feel his member quickly rising to the occasion as your hand worked at the base, letting your tongue engulf the rest. Bobbing along his shaft you were only spurred on as his fingers intertwined in your [h/c] hair, the action serving to boost your confidence and desire.
Pulling away from him with a slick pop your eyes were dusted with a hue of burning lust, and his eyes mirrored your own. Rising you quickly shed your clothing, unable to wait long enough to tease him or even consider putting on a show. Quickly moving to straddle his lap you ground your hips down against his own, relishing in the groan that it elicited from the prince.
Grabbing his member you knew your body was more than ready enough for him. Your eyes met for a moment as you lined yourself up with him before slowly lowering yourself down. The stretch was a lustful burn. It had been a while, but the feeling of him entering you slowly was enough to cause a needy growl from your lips. You could feel the sensation fading away already and you groaned as his fingers dug into your lips - steadying himself as well.
The whine that fell from your lips was hungry, as was the kiss that came when you pulled his face to meet yours; lips clashing in a fight for dominance. For once it was an even match as you ground your hips along him, causing the friction to build between the two of you. You could feel him winning the kiss and you chose then to start to move your hips, a quick and heavy pace threw him off long enough for you to win over the kiss. Your tail winding around his thigh as you started to pick up a pace, the heavy breaths falling from your lips were hot and thick.
You had been needing it for so long that you knew you weren't going to last long, despite how badly you might have wanted to. However as the prince started to get closer and closer himself you felt the drip on your hips tighten. That was the notice you were given before he started to meet your thrusts, his hips coming up as yours came down - hitting deeper and harder inside of you in the process. The cry that fell from your lip was nothing but pleasure as your mouths parted, your lips finding their place on his neck, lightly biting and kissing as you rode closer and closer to your high.
His moans were coming in closer and you could feel him starting to twitch and all it took was him to hit just right that you were seeing stars. A growl escaped as your teeth sank into his skin, causing him to groan as you came undone around him. The growl fading out into a euphoric whine as you felt him follow you with a low moan that filled you to the core.
There were a few moments of silence that was filled only by the sound of you both breathing. After a moment the two of you pulled away from one another with a departing groan before you fell beside the prince on your bed. It was a peaceful silence before you realised who you had slept with. A moment of dread reached you as you could only imagine what this entailed, what he thought, what the other two would think.
"Well, like I came in to say..make sure you are careful who you confront on the ship." he said, still a little breathy.

A Fine Line Between Healing and Hurt
Read it on ao3!: https://archiveofourown.org/users/currentlypsychoanalyzing
1 month after the war:
After the war, the last thing Ochako wanted to do was visit the very building in which all of her biggest adversaries—as well as the sources of her biggest traumas—were contained.
Her future bosses didn’t care, of course. As such, a large, burly man led her towards the center of an expansive white room. Sitting down, she looked toward her adversary.
A thin piece of bulletproof glass separated her from her antagonist: Himiko Toga.
The officer left the room to stand guard outside the doorway. She reminded herself of her assignment.
Talk to her, make note of her progress, then come back here and report on her conversations and sociability.
“Himiko.”
“Ochako,” she replied.
Ochako’s instinct was to ask how she had been doing, ask how this prison had been treating her, but she knew the answer to the question without needing to ask. Himiko Toga did not belong here. She was not the kind of person who would adjust well to life within prison, let alone Tartarus.
“Why are you here?” Himiko asked, almost coldly. The audio was crackling, her voice slightly distorted over the outdated microphone she was talking through.
“I just wanted to visit.” Ochako lied. There was no way she could tell Himiko that she’s essentially been ordered to talk to her, without much choice in the matter.
“Hm, sure.”
“How are you feeling right now?”
Himiko pondered this question before answering. She seemed to let some of her guard down, her icy aura warming up.
“I’m tired, and nothing is fun. No one is nice here… I can’t live the way I want to.”
Ochako figured as much. She sighed.
“This is your consequence, Himiko. You hurt people, even killed.”
Himiko hesitated before speaking again.
“I just wanted to be like them, that's all.”
“That's not an excuse for what you did. You took their life away. Hurt them. Hurt their families.”
“Well, what was my choice, huh? I… I get this urge, and I don’t feel okay until I satisfy it.” A harsh cadence became evident in her voice as she continued.
“No one forced you to hurt people, Himiko!” Ochako’s voice raised, though she kept her calm demeanor.
“Stop pretending like your people are any better! You’re forgetting why we’ve been pushed to hurt people. You’ve all hurt us first.”
“It’s not that simple. We can’t allow anyone to hurt others, especially innocent bystanders.”
“It’s all justified. We all have our reasons, same as you.”
“Sure. Your anger may be justified, but why hurt those who have nothing to do with those who have hurt you? Why even resort to physical violence in the first place?”
“People wouldn’t care about me until I threaten them. It’s the only way anyone ever bothers to hear our stories.”
“Himiko, I care. I’ve always cared about people who need help. Lots of heroes do.”
“Maybe, but others don’t. The society that heroes have made didn’t care about me until I started killing, same with Twice. They didn’t even care about Endeavor being an abuser until Dabi tried to kill him for what he did.”
“Himiko–“
“And then what happened, huh? A big press conference and everyone’s all on Endeavor’s side, because god forbid anyone sides with a ‘villain’.”
“Lots of people disliked Endeavor before, and how was anyone supposed to know what happened in their family? It was covered up pretty well. You can’t blame us for that.”
Himiko scoffed.
“You’d have to be pretty naïve to not have a feeling. So, what, you’re saying you understand why people forgave Endeavor so quickly?”
“Of course not! He could die for all I care! These situations are just more complicated than you think. None of it is black and white.”
“But you guys do the same thing. Anyone who doesn’t fit into your agenda is deemed villainous.”
“Look, we aren’t getting anywhere like this. We’re talking in circles. I can see your point, even if I don’t fully agree. But I want you to know that I’m trying to understand you. Not as a villain, but as a person. So what motivated you? You say you want to become those you love, but I know it goes deeper than that. Explain it to me.”
Toga hesitated before speaking, seeming to calm down now that Ochako was attempting to hear her story.
“Growing up, I didn’t understand love in the same way others did, I guess. The love I felt seemed more intense than what anyone else had described. I didn’t just want to be with someone, or even be near them. I wanted to make them bleed so I could love them, and be with them both inside and out.”
“So what happened? What led you to acting on your impulses?”
“I told my parents about my feelings. I was almost six, and those thoughts came across so suddenly; I remember asking if it had to do with my quirk. They tried to ignore it, told me to deal with it, but eventually, when it wouldn’t stop, they sent me to a quirk consoler who cared more about his check than he did me. It didn’t help me at all. My parents got fed up that the therapy wasn’t working and took me out of it. They told me that if I couldn’t be normal, I had to at least act like it. So I spent years trying to suppress it.”
“And that pushed you to become who you are today?”
Himiko nodded.
“When I attacked Saito, I realized the full potential of my quirk, and just how good it felt. I realized I wouldn’t be able to pretend anymore, so I ran away and stopped trying to pretend.”
Ochako nodded. She was about to speak when there was a loud knock. The officer who led her here stood in the doorway.
“Time's up.”
Ochako turned her head to him.
“Can we just have, like, five more minutes?” she asked.
He shook his head.
“No can do.”
Ochako turned to Himiko quickly.
“Do you regret it?”
Himiko seemed puzzled at the question.
“I’m- I don’t know- I’m not-“
Ochako nodded, turned off the microphone, and stood up. She turned to walk out of the room, following her escort, back to the car they arrived in.
Being driven to the Hero Commission’s headquarters, she passed the time by thinking about her interaction with Himiko.
She couldn’t help but feel sympathy for the girl. She knew hero society had failed Himiko, as well as countless others. She wasn’t ignorant. She wondered when stories of miracles performed by wonderful heroes had been traded for tasteless tabloids, gossip, bragging rights, and money.
She thought of herself becoming a high ranking hero, which meant she’d be featured on tabloids, interviews, game shows, etc. and hesitated.
When did heroism just become the shortcut to celebrity status?
Her thoughts halted when the car came to a stop.
Walking into the headquarters, she was led up the stairs to the President's office.
She had never personally spoken to the President, but she would be lying if she said she wasn’t nervous. She had quite the reputation for being harsh. She wasn’t sure how this would go. This was important. This was someone who had her future on the line, and it was essential for her to make a good impression. Slightly shaking, she entered the room.
“It’s Uravity, ma’am,” she said, bowing her head.
“Ah, sit down, child,” she greeted, a harsh lilt to her voice. “So, what did you learn?”
Clearing her throat, Ochako spoke.
“Uhm, where should I start?”
“Well you tell me, you were the one who spoke with her. What did she say? How did she act?”
“She was upset, mostly. She seemed tired. I don’t think she’s doing well in Tartarus.”
“Good. Did she speak on any motives? Ideals?”
Ochako took a shaky breath and answered.
“She mainly seems focused on justice. Hero society isn’t fair to her and her friends. She used to be more self oriented in her beliefs, but she seems determined to help her peers as well now.”
“And what about her past? Did you find out what happened to her?”
Ochako felt somewhat guilty. Wasn’t this kind of invasive? She couldn’t quite get Himiko’s consent to tell them about her past.
“Uhm," she paused, "Ma’am, isn’t that a little invasive? I’m not sure I should—“
“Considering she’s a villain with potential murder charges, I wouldn’t think it would matter all that much to you, hmm?”
“Right, of course.” Nervousness fluttered in her voice. “Her infatuation with blood seems largely to be due to her quirk. She was sent to quirk counseling as a kid but it didn’t work; she made it seem like the counselor wasn’t that good.”
Madam President nodded, writing info down in a notebook.
“Anything else?” She asked
“She chose to live a life of crime because she couldn’t handle living her life ‘pretending’. She felt like she wasn’t being herself.”
The President again nodded, writing.
“Uhm, ma’am? If I may ask, you’re considering starting a reformation program right? For villains?”
The President hummed in agreement.
“What are the details of the program?”
“Villains who meet the standards of the program are given the ability to exit the prison system provided they excel in rigorous classes and tests analyzing their emotional, physical, and social stability, as well as their past and their reasoning for their crimes.”
“How does it work? How is it run?”
“For about a year and a half, Tartarus and various other prisons will work with UA, and the Hero Commission. Staff will analyze everything about the prisoner and decide if they were justly put into prison or not. They work with the prisoner to help them fit into a society they previously didn’t. This is all analyzed through interviews, classes, discussions, and supervised outings. Provided they pass the strict guidelines, they may be released in due time–still quite heavily monitored, of course.”
Listening to the President, Ochako’s next words seemed obvious.
“Ma’am, I believe Himiko Toga would be perfect for this program!”
The President looked at her, examining, but then started chuckling.
“I’m just writing this down as a formality, child. We have to do this for every high profile villain we catch. I was never considering her, because there’s no way a villain like her could come back from a life like that. She’ll remain in prison.”
“But!“
“You know what–go ahead and make your case. I want to see how you can spin this,” she said, amused.
Clearing her throat once again, she spoke.
“Ma’am, she was never really given a chance. The instant she deviated from being considered normal, they abandoned her.”
“She was taken to quirk counseling. Is that not an attempt to set her on the right path?”
“When it didn’t help her, they immediately took her out of it and didn’t attempt any other solution. No psychologist, or psychiatrist visits, or anything! They were more concerned with her acting normal than if she was actually getting any help she needed.”
“And that would justify her actions?”
“I’m not saying that, but this hero society has been extremely harmful to her as well. Ever since she had found out what her quirk was, she’s been told she’s dangerous, creepy, and villainous. We’ve targeted her and everyone she’s grown to be friends with, and one of our heroes has even killed one of them.”
The President seemed more curious now. She flipped through her notebook once again.
“So you think because she’s had a troubling past, that she should be eligible? I’m afraid not. We all have our hang ups.”
“Ma’am, with all due respect, that’s more than a hang up. She’s never been treated as more than a villain, doesn’t that mean something?”
“She stands by her actions, yes? In order to qualify, she needs to show remorse and a desire to right her actions. I think you’re forgetting this is a convicted killer. What exactly are you expecting to happen?”
Ochako hesitated. Some of her memories of that war are somewhat vague, but she does have a few distinct memories, and she brings one up.
“She saved me, in this last war, ma’am. I lost too much blood, and I would have died if not for her quick transfusion. I owe her my life. I also remember her apologizing to me during that battle. I think it’s safe to say she had some remorse in that moment. I’m not sure where her head is at now. I asked her if she regretted any of it and she didn’t have an answer. ...I’m hoping with some medication, and a quirk counselor who’s trained on high profile, difficult situations, they’d be able to help her get a grasp on herself.”
The President seemed to consider for a second, almost in disbelief, before speaking.
“Well, considering this, I suppose she may qualify. Considering her past, this is a very delicate and tricky situation. I need to double check and clarify a few things first. Give me a few weeks to deliberate.”
Ochako smiled widely. She couldn’t believe that worked, and she couldn’t believe she spoke to her future boss in the manner that she did.
“But just one more question," the President asked. “Why does this matter so much to you? Why bother vouching for a villain?”
“I see every life as a life worth saving, ma’am. And, honestly, I don’t believe that Himiko Toga is as dangerous as she seems. Especially now, and especially if she gets the help she needs.”
“What an interesting outlook you have. You, Uravity, are either very, very, naive, or a very admirable hero. Time will tell.”
“Thank you so much, Madam President!” Ochako beamed.
“Yeah, yeah, it’s not like I’m happy about it. You’re dismissed.”
Ochako walked out the door with newfound confidence. She sighed a huge sigh of relief as she exited the building, her energy suddenly sapped, as if she used it all in that debate.
She was suddenly, very, very glad she had remembered to finish her heroics essay the night before.

warnings: slight angst but lots of fluff
word count: 231
notes: this is my first fanfic!! enjoy :] also this is Captain julius x reader so yeah
Tumblr media
Julius let out a pretty sigh as you hug him close to you. he always blushed when you kissed his face. “Julius.. I love you,” you said, "i-i love you too," he stuttered. he wasn't used to compliments and he was always so flustered when you played with his hair. "such a pretty boy, i just want to hold you in my arms, honey." he adorably covered his face with his hands. you moved his hands off his face and kissed him again. "i love you, my captain.." you loved kissing him and hugging him and making him blush even more. "Y/N, can i...tell you something?" he asked softly. you noticed a sad look in his amethyst eyes. "what's wrong, my love?" you ask, softly placing a hand on his face. he breathed in gently. "am i good enough for you? do i disappoint you?" he asked, trying to hide his voice trembling, but he didn't hide it well. "honey..." you hug him and softly play with his blonde hair. "you will never disappoint me... i love, you my darling.." you softly whisper into his ear. Julius tried to keep himself from crying, but tears were already streaming down his blushing cheeks. "Y/N... i love you so much..." he whimpered while you continued to comfort him. he buried his face in your neck while he sobbed. "i love you too, captain."
