Bad Boy or seemingly bad boy non confirming actor Eddie Munson and new comer model Chrissy Cunningham have been seen together lately. Reportedly her mother (momager) and ex Beau are not happy about it. Chrissy has always been an admirer of Eddie Munson's work, but because of her mother's hold and boyfriends jealousy, she was never able to interact with him at events, until a creative opportunity arises that even her mother could turn it down.

"Fuck princess," he growled against her throat, his hands up her skirt, shoving the scrap of underwear to the side. The music of the awards show could be heard in the distance but they would not be perturbed.

5. Do you have any writing superstitions? What are they and why are they 100% true?

Haha does my belief that im incapable of writing at home count as a superstition? and to be fair to me, i can. sometimes. I did this weekend!!! But then the other 95% of the time it just doesnt happen ripppp (too many distractions at home...)

23. Describe the physical environment in which you write. Be as detailed as possible. Tell me what’s around you as you work. Paint me a picture.

As detailed above, it sure as hell aint home. We're in the fine dining establishment of Gusto. If we're lucky, we have a full booth seat so we can fit both the laptop and a large plate of fries next to each other. There's a mug with a cafe latte next to the plate, and then a glass with water. Maybe a ginger ale or vegetable juice too if we're feeling lazy and don't feel like getting up to the drink bar again any time soon.

There's a really horrible playlist of bad covers to notable songs playing overhead, but we block that out with atla lofi mixes. Always cutting through preferable music is the adorable voice of the cat robot delivering food. Many a "nya" to be heard (all puns). We do not begrudge the cat. We cherish the cat. And sometimes get distracted watching the cat robot because it's been there for like almost two years now but she's still so damned cute.

We finish the plate of fries. Maybe we'll order another one...

33. Do you practice any other art besides writing? Does that art ever tie into your writing, or is it entirely separate?

I used to sew and do costuming u.u haven't since I moved to japan bc I just don't have the space for it anymore... I still enjoying doing costume designs! Hence my yanggang costume sketches... did i ever end up doing tarkik and siniq's design collages? hmm... but then I don't go into too much effort talking about the actual clothes in my writing so lmao rip

These days i do lot of jounaling :3 fun sticker collages and doodling and what not. doesnt really tie into writing other than me planning out update schedules i suppose lol

I hate how everything changes in just a second, everything goes wrong and you’re alone, shouting at yourself…

Tears appear in your eyes because of someone that isn’t worth your time and worry, and you said to yourself soon the pain will go away but suddenly it’s spring, then summer, fall, and winter, and the tears keep falling, the heart still hurting, it’s the same feeling every day.

I closed my eyes and built my own world, now I’m on the blue side. I’m not sure what it means, but it feels like a safe place. It’s like having my own heaven, where I get to cry and scream and nobody will see it, because I’m alone and I can be vulnerable.

I can have this feeling of being homesick about my own past self, without being judged.

How I wish I could go back to that time where I was innocent, where I would write from my heart and it was pure, it was real… but now everything feels so wrong, so fake. I feel numb.

I close my eyes and I go to my blue heaven where I feel so much better, the sunshine warms the cold, and the clouds are wrapped around the blue. They hear me scream and they listen, they calm me down comforting my heart and it feels good but sometimes I feel so alone.

This feeling confuses me because I created this world to be alone under the moonlight who cries along, but I don’t want to be alone because I’m scared I stay here forever.

When I scream out my pains in the dark, the cold air feels frozen in my chest and I hear it breaking the blue road I’m stepping on. It feels like they don’t want me here anymore… I don’t want to be here anymore.

So I sing my blooms and I’m back in my room missing the old days but I manage to calm myself down because somehow I realized maybe I’m not alone, right?

Sometimes I wish I could just burn it all blue to death because it swallows me up and then it throws me away, but at the same time, it’s the only place I have where I no longer feel numb. It’s the only place where my heart and my mind can be aligned for once.

What She Needed Most

@flashfictionfridayofficial Too late I know, but I was busy jounaling about the election.

“Aunt Bree!”

Breann caught her niece in a hug and waved to her brother-in-law, who was already sliding back into the front seat. He’d be heading home to pick up her sister, who should just have gotten home and changed, and drive downtown for the concert.

Molly was here for a sleepover.

“Are we having my favorite for dinner?” Molly asked, pulling back from the hug, eyes shining.

“Of course we are!”

“Yay!”

As she stood back up and watched Molly run to the door, she took a deep breath and let it out quickly. A cheerful distraction was exactly what she needed tonight. Now she just needed to let it distract her.

She wasn’t sure if Molly would notice something was wrong. At first she thought she’d given it away by not playing music as she started dinner, but when Molly asked and she pulled out her phone and quickly queued some songs, Molly launched right into singing “Ooh baby ooh baby ooh,” without any more piercing questions.

She chopped the mushrooms and drained the tuna. Molly got to help with stirring the cheese into the sauce as long as she was “very careful” and didn’t touch the pot. She promised solemnly, as she always did, climbed up on the stool, and stirred.

The mac and cheese was in the oven when she asked, “Are we gonna call Charlie tonight?”

Breann bit down hard on her lips. “No,” she said, the word long at the beginning and sharp at the end.

“Why not?”

“Because… we’re not…” She made herself say the words. “…together anymore. We’re not dating anymore,” she clarified, so Molly didn’t say of course they weren’t together, he was in Michigan.

“Why?” Molly whined, in the tone she used when Breann said she couldn’t have more ice cream.

Breann took another deep breath. She should have known this was going to happen. No one else knew Charlie well enough to care, he’d hadn’t hung out with her family much before he left for grad school, but Molly’s nights with her aunt meant she and Charlie got to know each other over Skype calls. She adored him.

“He didn’t… He decided he didn’t want to move back after grad school. He wants to get a job there.” She punched the button to turn on the oven light and looked at the mac and cheese because it was something to look at. “And I didn’t want to leave. For obvious reasons.”

“But I thought you guys were going to get married.”

Breann closed her eyes as if that would stop her whirling thoughts. She hadn’t told Molly she wanted to marry him, had she? Probably Molly was just guessing, just assuming based on the childish idea that all grown-ups who liked each other got married. But she had occasionally left the room while Charlie was on video call, to go to the bathroom or get ice cream, so did that mean Charlie had told her…

It didn’t matter, because she was not moving. And that was what it all came down to, was she was not moving. Even though Charlie blamed her. Even though the agreement online was that she was the bad guy for refusing to move for his career.

“Oh well,” she said with a breeziness she didn’t feel. “I’ll find someone else to marry. I have plenty of time. There’s not an age limit.”

Molly looked up at her, green eyes dark. Now she was biting her lips. “I liked Charlie.”

“I know. Me too.”

“What are you going to do?”

“What do you mean?” When Molly didn’t answer it, Breann fell back on the sort of thing she’d been telling herself. “I have a job I like in a city I like with a family I love.” She gave Molly a quick hug. “I guess that’s most important to me.”

Molly kept her eyes on the floor for a moment, but when she raised them they held a hint of a gleam. “Would you feel better if we had extra ice cream?”

“We?”

“Please maybe?”

Breann surprised herself by laughing. “You know what, yes. Tonight we can have extra ice cream.” She laughed again as Molly literally jumped up and down.

Yes, a cute distraction was exactly what she needed.

Do you listen to music (or tv shows/films/anything else) when drawing?

🎤 I listen to YouTube videos. I tend daydream and think of story ideas while I listen to music, putting it on as I'm drawing would just get me distracted. 🥁 I listen to j-pop most of the time, or games and anime OST 🎷 I almost always have something playing as background noise when drawing. Most of the time it's music. It helps me focus and keeps me company when drawing~ 🎸 Whatever my roommate is watching or some random playlist... synthwave at the moment!

What’s your favorite music artist/band? If you could ask your favorite band/music artist one question, what would it be?

🎤 If I really had to pick someone I'd say Shiloh Dynasty. I like almost all of their songs, very relaxing to listen to. ""Are you doing well?"" Not sure what happened to them but I hope they're okay. 🥁 Right now my favorite composer is Yuki Kajiura, a rather common choice I guess? But her musics always hit me the right way and can convey both pure epicness and immense nostalgia (she did puella magi, fate, kara no kyoukai & kny ost among others) 🎷 My favorite band is Bastille. I think I would ask them how they always put together such amazing mash-ups whenever they do one, because they are so well thought out and fitting. 🎸 My faves are The Weeknd and Lana Del Rey. I'd love to ask the Weeknd about his Kissland album, since it seems he really hates that one lol

Do you play an instrument? If not would you like to play one? Which one?

🎤 I've memorized how to play parts on song on the piano (and part of megalovania on the guitar out of spite) but other than that no. I would really like to learn violin! 🥁 I used to play a bit of guqing and guitar but ended up letting it down. They were really fun and satisfying to learn and i would love to get back to it when i'll have time to 🎷 I don't play an instrument but if I would, it would probably be either the piano or cello 🎸 Not really, I'd like to play piano though.

What do you expect from this zine?

🎤 Lots of good entries. I'm very excited just from looking at everyone's wips! 🥁 Nothing special, I don't often have time and occasions to draw whatever i want from a prompt so this is a good opportunity 🎷 I expect, or well hope, to see many different artists come together and share their favorite music through their own art and styles. 🎸 Just a push to create a cool illustration! it's more fun together.

Journalist, zine-maker and broadcaster Kieran Yates on British youth culture

Kieran Yates is both a prolific documenter of youth culture and an authority on the subject. She’s the former Senior Contributing Music Editor at DAZED, co-author of Generation Vexed, producer of Muslim Drag Queens and the founder and editor of British Values — a satirical fanzine illuminating the immigrant experience in the UK.

I spoke to Kieran to get her perspective on creative responses to cultural shifts, the formative forces of British youth culture today, and the dual-cultured voices challenging the status quo.
