I have a solution for fic writers who want characters in different years to be in the same classroom. (Or characters from more than two different houses at once).

Hogwarts doesn't normally stream classes by ability, or mix years. But it could be necessitated by the war. Say, some students who wouldnt usually be grouped together end up sharing lessons because staff can only work part time due to other commitments.

Maybe Slughorn makes potions for St Mungos on the side, so some of his classes are combined to make time for that, since the war effort is considered to be very important.

It can help that scenario feel more natural in the story. Its also nice to show how the war affects mundane life when it isnt even the focus.

Hello my favorite friends.

I'm so into it at the moment that I might be able to publish my first FanFiction soon. It's still in my native language and not quite finished yet, but if I continue at this pace, it could come out in the next few months. March at the latest, I guess? So I can’t write for the life of me or I would just make this myself, but I need a fanfic that is post prank platonic Moonwater with a moonrosekiller side quest with Wolfstar and jegulilly end game with plenty of time with the Slytherin skittles Pandora, being super sweet and living her best life, Dorcas defending Remus like the goddess (I’d love a dorlene side quest also), and seeing Mary, Marlene, and Lilly not positive what’s going on but backing Remus no matter what I don’t know why, but I am such a Remus Stan he’s just such a sweet boy, and I love him, and I think he deserves the world and I feel like there’s darkness in him that he can’t accept but the Slytherin would help him except when Gryffindor just shoves all that good brave righteousness down your throat

I feel like there is a double standart for wolfstar in this fandom. People are enthusiastic about shipping sirius with other people but remus rarely gets the same treatment. Let's break this together

For example, people are less likely to ship lily and remus but they ship james and sirius even though they both have the same dynamic

I should say I'm a wolfstar shipper just fyi 😅

Finally getting back to the next chapter of Glitch.

Barty rubbed his chin against Evan’s neck, stubble against his skin. The roughness made his breath catch.

“You’ll get us in trouble,” Evan said. “We’ll get detention.”

“Or better,” Barty said, lifting his face. “Expelled.”

He slid his hands between them and unbuckled Evan’s belt.

“Wait,” Evan said, a hand on Barty’s wrist. “I think we’re being watched.”

Evan nodded towards the Gryffindor table, where Sirius and Lupin were both quite obviously watching them.

“Hm,” Barty said. He slid Evan’s zipper down. “So we are. Good thing they can’t hear us.”

“A human wouldn’t be able to.” Evan’s voice dropped to a whisper. “But a werewolf could.”

Remus woke up cold and alone.

Those fucking pricks.

He stirs in the empty bed before ultimately getting up and taking Evan’s midnight blue blanket with him.

Smelling pancakes mid-char, Remus begins to trudge to the kitchen.

Once he finds the kitchen— getting lost along the way— he sees them; Barty is thoroughly burning the pancakes and Evan is perched happily on the island.

“You left me!” Remus groans, quickly filling the space between Evan's legs and resting his head on his stomach.

All Remus gets in response is a hum and a kiss on the top of his head.

“Oi! I want a kiss from Remus too!” Barty gasps, earning a laugh— and a kiss–- from Remus.
