Okay so. You're bringing up one of my main obsessions rn. I also have some ocs that I'm developing, but of the ones introduced:
Nate Simmons my beloved. They could bond over their amazing families! (I mean, Mariana doesn't have that many sisters and Nate is the oldest while Mariana is the "middle child" but whatever).
Maya Puckerman. I mean... she's a Puckerman. They could be like sisters! And ofc tell Noah that he's an idiot (affectionately) lol
Mirabelle Ryder. Don't ask me why, I just get vibes from them. (Also, get a little girlfriends vibes from them ngl 👀)
The only thing I know for sure is that Kat would be very interested. Like, she would do her sooo many questions! (Mostly about her ghost-vision tbh). She's amazing at annoying people so I hope Clara is a patient person, bc she could start asking questions like a three years old if she is in the mood (you know the kid-phase of "why?". Sometimes that's Kat)

Disney 100 ✨🏰🤍
Wishing you all a happy new year and to Disney, a belated 100th anniversary! 🎉
To celebrate Disney’s century milestone, I created an illustration based on 100 of Disney’s most known and loved characters from their respective movies/ series. I’ve included all the ones I’ve known and feel are generally popular but I’m sorry if your personal favourites aren’t here.
This has been in the works for almost four months now but due to many delays I couldn’t finish it on time. So here it finally is!
Out of all these range characters, the hardest to draw was the Cars. I’m not used to drawing cars so I’m not generally good at them (yet). Some of these may look simple and easy to draw but trust me, they’re not 😂.
With drawing the characters and the background, I like to be accurate with the respective style it’s drawn/ animated in and the colours too. But also I wanted to also simplify the 3D ones and add a little depth using shadow to the 2D ones. For example some of these films would have a desaturated grainy effect to it and I wanted to keep that. But finally after months of working on it, it’s completed and I’m happy with it! ✨.

Okay so I saw 'Once Upon a Studio' yesterday and I mean...I did not ask to be punched in the gut with emotions Disney! Spoilers under the cut in case you haven't seen it yet
-First off, just the concept of the animation studio almost being like Night at the Musem where the pictures come alive was so much fun.
-TREASURE PLANET GOT ACKNOWLEDGED! I GOT TO SEE JIM IN HIS JACKET ON HIS SOLAR SURFER!
-Dodger with Vanellope in the candy racer was adorable!
-Hearing Peter Pan say 'Here we go!' felt so weird when it wasn't followed by Jack Sparrow saying 'We have our heading', those commercials were the pinnacle of my childhood
-Did I mention Treasure Planet?!
-The 2D and the 3D animations really melded well together, especially the scene where Moana's holding Flounder!
-There's an elevator gag that made me burst out laughing when I first saw it
-ROBIN WILLIAMS' VOICE AS GENIE! And no, it's not AI! Disney got permission from Robin Williams' estate to use outtakes from Aladdin for this.
-Milo Thatch getting ready in the men's bathroom with Gaston, Chicken Little, Prince John, the Headless Horseman, Thomas O'Malley, and Doc! Oh, and the Cheshire Cat!
-Antonio Madrigal happily making his way to the photo with Pascal, Cri-ki, Pua, and Meeko and saving Jaq and Gus from being eaten by a lizard-type thing (okay I haven't seen the Rescuers Down Under so I don't know all the characters by name lol) with some help from Pluto!
-Kristoff and Sven hanging out with Ryder!
-"Come on puppies, you're going to get nightmares" is Kristoff's only line and it's to the 15 Dalmatian puppies watching Night on Bald Mountain and yet I feel that's peek Akiho energy and it may find itself into one of my fics
-ROBIN HOOD AND LITTLE JOHN STEALING MONEY FROM SCROOGE AFTER THE PUPPIES KNOCKED HIM OVER!
-Pat Caroll's voice is the voice of Ursula and I'm loving the thought that the original voice actors stay the voices of these characters after their deaths
-Also what movie is the blue blobby thing from that's following Ursula?
-Also also why did Flounder need water but Ursula can walk around in her half octopus form?
-Can't have a Cinderella cameo without someone losing a shoe
-CINDERELLA HAS THE CORRECT COLOR FOR HER DRESS!
-"Eric, get your dog!" You can pry the fact that the princes are friends out of my cold dead hands!
-"Go Max go!" Aww, I love the fact that Cinderella can be goofy when she's not living with her abusive step family!
-The moment with Mickey and Walt's photo and 'Feed the Birds' in the background...yeah it's okay, I didn't need to do anything but cry for the next seven days
-Jeremy Irons as Scar!!
-"Make it pink" "Make it blue" was such a good bit
-The classic Goofy scream!
-STITCH!
-All of them coming to sing When You Wish Upon a Star...Mirabel playing with Scat Cat, Belle singing with Beast, James Woods as Hades' voice, Jodie Benson reprising the voice of Ariel...just all of it!
-Snow White bringing Asha from Wish to stand next to her with Mulan on the other side and characters from Disney's 'Dark Age' on either side in the background
-Speaking of the Dark Age characters, how do you think they were treated during all this at the time? Especially Black Cauldron since that almost saw Disney Animation close its doors but it was nice to see all the characters be part of the short
Safe to say I loved every second!

My Encanto Next Gen Headcanons;
Set in my descendants-encanto au, ' The Invisible truth.'
Mirabel and Agustín made all the baby clothes for the next gen kids. They also made the clothes for Isabella's potato people and the taxidermied animal decorations when they came to life.
Isabella adores her little potato people and has called herself their 'mama'. (Inspired by this story).
She also loves giving sentience to her other plants (which her husband, Bubo, also loves).
Isabella and Bubo are alot like Gomez and Moritica Addams but like, the mad scientist versions.
A statue of Alma's sister law, Alejandra, does eventually get added to the house after they find out from Alma's long lost siblings and nieces that she died the same night as Pedro.
Isabella and Bubo go on to have two children— Miguel Jr (named after Miguel Rivera who helped deliver him when no one else was around) and Zoey Madrigal.
Claudine gets along most with Mirabel and Rick gets along best with Isabella. As does Rachel.
Rory favors Luisa.
Antonio is a single pringle like his uncle Bruno and like his uncle Bruno (in this au anyway) ends up adopting a kid of his own eventually (while in his mid twenties).
No one is ever really quite sure how many kids are in the Madrigal family anymore because of all the new grand kids and great grand kids. The kids themselves aren't even sure anymore.
The Madrigals still have their problems but they're much closer than before and the relationships are a little more healthy.
Out of the Frollo-Ratcliffe turned Madrigal kids, Cesare had the hardest time adjusting.
When the Frollo-Ratcliffe children are adopted, Alma's long lost siblings, her two nieces, and Felix's brother, Gabriel, have been in the Encanto for a few years already and the Madrigal Grandkids are all in their twenties (except for Antonio, who is either a preteen or a teen).
Camilo is an actor.
Isabella is a botanist selling crazy plants and an interior designer. Bubo is a costume designer. She and Bubo have a shop that they work out of.
Antonio is a zoologist and vegetarian.
Miguel Rivera, Mirabel's husband, is a musician.
Mirabel is a therapist.
Mariano is a poet.
Agustín is a tailor.
Félix is a musician and construction worker. His brother, Gabriel, is a traveler who has a thing for Pepa's cousin, Miranda.
Miranda helps heal people with Julieta.
Her sister, Beatriz/Beatriz, runs a casino.
Everyone still helps out in the village but they get breaks more often.
Camilo is a drama teacher and a small time actor and his wife, Mina, is a handyman.
That's all I got for now but I'll come back to this later.
Ryder Nattura, Luisa's husband, is a donkey herder and Luisa is a dog walker and pet sitter.
Dolores is a gossip magazine writer and a script writer.

En la serie HSMTMTS gran parte del reparto principal se identifica como queer; Joe Serafini, Frankie Rodriguez, Joshua Bassett, Larry Saperstein, Julia Lester... ellxs y el resto del cast hablan de lo importante que es mostrar historias LGBT+ reales en pantalla, y en especial de Disney, y de lo felices que lxs hace ser parte de eso. Y en Marvel, Tessa Thompson y Angelina Jolie, que también hablan de que esperan tener representación LGBT+ en pantalla. Además de Dara Terrence, la creadora de The Owl House, que por eso busca también crear personajes (niñxs) LGBT+ en su programa.
Mi intención con esto no es enumerar y señalar la diversidad, que ya suficientes lo hace la sociedad para que me sume yo, sino mostrar que las voces queer están y estuvieron siempre, en Disney y en el mundo, pero que cuesta mucho más que las vean como tal por todo el odio y violencia psicológica, económica y laboral que conlleva mostrarse como LGBT+.Y de nuevo invito y pido que se sigan mostrando historias y voces LGBT+, y creando ambientes seguros y cómodos para las mismas, y que cada vez sea más fácil sentirse representadx por los personajes.

Como vimos muchxs creadorxs y actores/actrices hablan de ciertas limitaciones que enfrentan con cómo mostrar o hablar de sus personajes LGBT+, High School Musical, Enredados la serie, The Owl House, Raya y el último dragón, Gravity Falls… Y desde hace un tiempo varixs actores/actrices, productorxs, directorxs y diversxs trabajadorxs de Disney han salido del closet como queer luego de trabajar en Disney. Esto puede deberse (algunxs lo han expresado así) a la reglamentación y presión que sentían en ese momento, y que ahora, no solo por el progreso social sino también por la liberación de ya no trabajar allí, ya no es tanta. También hay actores y actrices actuales que dijeron públicamente que eran LGBT+. En la serie HSMTMTS gran parte del reparto principal se identifica como queer; Joe Serafini, Frankie Rodriguez, Joshua Bassett, Larry Saperstein, Julia Lester... ellxs y el resto del cast hablan de lo importante que es mostrar historias LGBT+ reales en pantalla, y en especial de Disney, y de lo felices que lxs hace ser parte de eso. Y en Marvel, Tessa Thompson y Angelina Jolie, que también hablan de que esperan tener representación LGBT+ en pantalla. Además de Dara Terrence, la creadora de The Owl House, que por eso busca también crear personajes (niñxs) LGBT+ en su programa.
Mi intención con esto no es enumerar y señalar la diversidad, que ya suficientes lo hace la sociedad para que me sume yo, sino mostrar que las voces queer están y estuvieron siempre, en Disney y en el mundo, pero que cuesta mucho más que las vean como tal por todo el odio y violencia psicológica, económica y laboral que conlleva mostrarse como LGBT+.Y de nuevo invito y pido que se sigan mostrando historias y voces LGBT+, y creando ambientes seguros y cómodos para las mismas, y que cada vez sea más fácil sentirse representadx por los personajes.

Everything wrong with Johnny Depp.
1. MARCH (1989)
Johnny Depp, 25, was arrested and held in custody for three hours early Wednesday after police answered a noisy party complaint at a hotel in the West End section of Vancouver, where '21 Jump Street' is filmed. The trouble started when a security guard asked a group of people to leave the hotel and Depp allegedly then assaulted the guard. Telephones in the hotel lobby also were damaged in the incident. Depp was released after promising to appear in court April 12.
Actor Johnny Depp got off scot-free with an absolute discharge after pleading guilty in a Vancouver, British Colombia, court to an assault charge. Depp’s lawyer, Richard Israels, told provincial court his client regrets the incident. The lawyer said Depp overreacted during a discussion with the guard.
2. 1989
Jennifer Grey, Johnny Depp’s fiance: She said that Depp proposed to her within two weeks of meeting her and they got a pekinese-poodle puppy called Lulu.
He’d started missing his flights home to LA having overslept or, when he did come home, he’d be crazy jealous and paranoid about what I’d been up to while he was gone.
3. SEPTEMBER (1994)
JOHNNY DEPP, the star of "Edward Scissorhands" and "What's Eating Gilbert Grape" was arrested early yesterday and accused of smashing furniture and glass in his room at the Mark Hotel on East 77th Street, but officials said charges of felony criminal mischief would be dropped after he pays $9,767 for the damages.
Police Officer EILEEN PEREZ, who responded to a call by the hotel at 5:30 A.M., described the scene she found in Room 1410. "We opened the door and there was Depp sitting there, smoking a cigarette, cool and calm," she said. His girlfriend, the model Kate Moss, was with him, the officer said.
"There was glass all over the place and furniture upside down and broken table legs," she continued.
As he was taken to the 19th Precinct station house, she related, Mr. Depp said to another officer, referring to Officer Perez: "I don't think she likes me. But if she saw me at a mall, I bet she would ask me for an autograph."
"No, Johnny," Officer Perez responded, "I don't think so."
4. LORI ANNE ALLISON (1988).
Sources say he paid his first wife, Lori Anne Allison, $1.25 million to keep quiet after he allegedly left a long ranting message in which he repeatedly used the N-word. The previously unreported settlement was accomplished using fictitious names to avoid scrutiny, with Richard Green serving as the stand-in for Johnny Depp.
5. WINONA RYDER(1989-1993).
During the filming of Black Swan in 2010, Ryder was quoted as saying: "The scene where I trash my dressing room was my last scene. I remember my first boyfriend used to smash everything—at eighteen, everything is dramatic." While she doesn't explicitly name Depp, the timeline fits.
6. KATE MOSS (1998)
‘’I was with Kate, and I think he went straight for the romance jugular, shit like whether I beat her enough. I probably told him, ‘Yeah, she gets a severe beating.'”
7. ELLEN BARKIN (1998).
Mr Depp threw a bottle across the room in her presense. ‘’He is just controlling, jealous man.’’ Actress Ellen Barkin claims Johnny Depp always had 'an air of violence around him' (page 6, paragrapgh 17)
8. FEBRUARY (1999).
Johnny Depp was taken into custody after he scuffled with paparazzi outside the posh Mirabelle restaurant Saturday night, cops said.Witnesses told police that Depp exploded in anger as several lensmen tried to snap his picture.The bad-boy actor picked up a long wooden plank and began swinging it, threatening to bash the snappers if they didn’t go away, authorities said.Depp spent four hours in police custody before being released with a caution that if he blew up at photographers again, he’d be thrown in the slammer overnight.
9. APRIL (2012)
Johnny Depp is being sued by a 52-year-old disabled woman who says she was roughed up and humiliated by the actor's bodyguards during a concert back in December ... claiming Depp's hired muscle beat her up and tore her pants off.
A judge has dismissed the case -- finding Robin had no justification for filing anonymously.
10. AMBER HEARD (2013 - 2016)
Johnny Depp physically, emotionally, verbally abused Amber Heard from 2013 till 2016.
11. JULY (2018)
Johnny Depp has been sued for allegedly assaulting Gregg “Rocky” Brooks, a former location manager on Depp’s upcoming film City of Lies. In the suit, Brooks said that Depp punched him twice in the ribs. He also accused the actor of verbally assaulting him and saying he’d pay the crew member $100,000 to hit him back.
Johnny Depp admitted to GQ that he smacked the location manager. Then it was redacted.

Hear me out for the Tangled AU, Mariano who doesn't or isn't informed about Mirabel accidentally stumbles upon her tower and helps her escape, becoming a sort surroget older brother as he tells her about the celebration thats gonna happen in a few days(Basically he's Flynn Ryder but as a brother)
Honestly I’ve been thinking about this!
Basically I think I’ve already said that anyone under like 30 doesn’t know about Mirabel, they just dumped her at the tower and deliver her food to last a month at the start of the month.
If she gets to close to the person delivering the food or the exit they usually beat her or threaten to, so obviously she’s in a bad shape. That the tower she lives in is probably filthy and has dangerous stuff left around (it used to be a watchtower to make sure no one got in the encanto but as time went on it was left).
I imagine Mariano(who would be around 16 because it takes place when Antonio was born) would go on hikes and stuff around the encanto as a chance to be alone and away from the noise. That’s when he stumbles across the tower, he thinks it’s just abandoned so he goes to look around to see if anything cool is there.
That’s when he finds Mirabel, she’s in a horrible state.
Bloody, bruised and clearly hasn’t had a bath in 5 years. She’d probably apologise for being in his way and try to get out of his way as he tries to ask her questions. Obviously surprising her because no one talks to her.
He’d probably ask something like “what’s your name” “where are your parents” “are you hurt” and she would only answer with a shrug and stumbled back and only when he tells her that he’ll help her out she said “no”
obviously not able to do anything Mariano would go bath to the village, but in a few more days he goes back to the tower, slowly over time he’d go to the tower once a month, to once a week, to every other day and finally to everyday.
He’d teach her how to speak and write, he never got that far but he got her to tell him her name, how long she had been there and finally what the villagers had done. He’s pissed but can’t do anything incase they hurt her. Mirabels like a baby sister to him.
One day he mentions to her that a ceremony at the madrigals casita is happening in a few days and her eyes light up, she knows about the house because she can vaguely see it from her window, when she was little she used to think the house could see her, she used to think it would wave at her with its windows but it was ridiculous right?
The night Mirabel leaves the tower Mariano is at the party, and when he sees her stumble in he wouldn’t know what to do, he’d probably try to get to her but casita would push him back, hed also probably punch the villagers that tried to get to her as well.
I think after the madrigals find out he helped her they would be grateful but mad at the same time, he could have told them for so long that she was alive and they could have helped.
But eventually they’d forgive him and realise he literally couldn’t do anything other than what he was doing.
