This look so long :’)

Ok! First Is Mirabels door, first of all its really sad to see Mirabel having to use a nursery at 15 because she wasn’t ‘special’ enough to get her own room instead having to share. Also since her door isn’t magical, it doesn’t really have any sign of belonging to her like everyone else’s, the only sign that the room belongs to her is the painted on ‘Mirabel’ . it’s more dull and has no sign it belongs to her showing how different she’s really treated.also I noticed that she’s not got butterflies around her room which seemed weird to me considering it was mainly her that was promoted with butterflies but maybe it’s a sign of where the magic is in the house and with her just having a normal room butterflies don’t tend to stay there.

Antonio’s door is probably exactly what I thought it would be, there isn’t but to it considering he’s just getting his when the movie starts. The door isn’t as worn down or scraped as the others and I really like how they designed him and the animals in the 2D design. I really like how the animals look I think they look really cool

K! Next up is Isabelas door, I like how it clearly shows how much her powers are appart of her with the flowers surrounding the door and being a main part of the design on top of it. I also noticed while writing this that the door handles have the initial of the family members name engraved onto the handle. To me it seems like she takes a lot of care of her door making sure it looks presentable and it makes sense considering she’s known as the golden child.

Luisas door is honestly what I thought it would be. It represents her powers and how she’s built up to be this strong, powerful and smiling, which could play into how she feels like she has to be stoic and happy. Not much to say about her door I just think it looks really cool.

I genuinely love how camilos door looks, with the style hes drawn and the shilloetes of what I think is Mirabel and Abuela Alma. Honestly Camilos design in general is just really appealing to me. Also don’t have much to say about his door either I just really like how it’s drawn and Camilo in general

I think Delores door is also really cool but the one thing I find weird about it how instead of looking happy or peaceful like everyone’s else’s she lookes more nervous or worried. I don’t know if that’s just me that thinks that but I’ve always thought hearing everything would be stressful at times with how when your sleeping or trying to do basically anything you hear everything around you but it’s more a headcanon. Other than the fact she looks nervous I don’t have much else to say about it.

Julietas door is honestly amazing to me. I like how she and the herbs are drawn and how genuinely caring she looks in it. I also like Julietas design in general with the plants and herbs sticking out her pocket and the designs on the pockets. I also really like Agustin’s design, he honestly looks like such a dad.

I probably have the least to say about Pepas door other than the fact I like the style it’s drawn in. Other than that I like how the door only shows the good side of her power and not the bad side that comes with you emotions being connected to the weather compared to Bruno’s who looks angry or even resentful.

I like how Abuela Almas door is different from everyone else’s showing how shes the matriarch and also that she was the first one to experience the magic of the house and the gifts. Considering she’s the “Caretaker of the candle” I like how her portrait is her surrounded by the light of the candle. I also noticed that the butterflies that surround everyone is on the candle.

Okie! The Last one is Bruno’s door, I still find it sad that they kicked bruno out of the family and isolated him over something he clearly can’t control. And even after they basically kicked his out they border up his room? Imagine when Bruno eventually comes back to the house he sees his door has lost his magic and is boarded away. I also like how the doors paint is scratched away clearly showing how no one has bothered to repaint it. I also like how his door is no longer flowing considering how the house represents the family’s relationship it makes sense for his part to be falling apart.

Ok since I haven’t found very many things to theorise about in encanto I’m gonna give like 10 Mirabel headcanons! Expect a part 2 I have alot

Mirabel is VERY family oriented like very, if one of her family members came up and said sorry for their treatment of her she’d forgive them in a heartbeat cause that’s just who she is.

Mirabels love language is touch and words of affirmation which can be very difficult if you label in the family is “the forgotten one” but honestly she’ll draw the affection out of her family.

Before the whole not getting a gift thing Mirabel and Camilo used to have a VERY close relationship like they were basically twins, you couldn’t separate them after the whole not getting a gift thing they still ate very close just as not as much as they used to be.

All of the family members (well maybe except for alma and maybe Isabela) try to include her in what there doing because even if it’s subconsciously they know they leave her out a lot and they really don’t want to do that cause they do love her.

Isabela feels guilty when she leaves Mirabel out but she just does it so she can keep up the perfect madrigal act and since Mirabel is seen as not perfect to a lot of the town she doesn’t talk to her much. Even though she really does love her little sister she’s just under a lot of stress to be the best.

You cannot convince me this isn’t cannon but since Luisa is so strong Mirabel just sits on her shoulder most of the time and no one asks about it cause it’s just normal at this point. Luisa also doesn’t mind since it doesn’t affect her at all she just makes sure Mirabel dosent fall off.

Mirabel has gotten all of her dads clumsiness, she is constantly tripping over herself and falls a lot.

The amount of glasses this girl has gone through is insane, I can imagine she’s constantly breaking them and one day her family got sick of buying her new ones and just got her a box filled with spares so if she broke a pair she can just get another

Mirabel is probably the closest to casita to the point she can tell it to play a prank on one of her family members and it’ll just do it. Honestly casita is more like a best friend/another member of the family rather than a house.

In one of the posters it shows that the nursery has Mirabels name drawn on in red paint, and honestly I think she just bought paint one day and wrote her name on the door cause it’s not like she’s moving out or anything.

On the Tangled au, what would the family’s reaction be to seeing Mirabel again?

Honestly their first reaction would be confusion, mirabels been kept in a tower away from the family for five years, the last time they saw her she was 5, they wouldn’t recognise her at first in the slightest.

The family thought Mirabel was dead, they had a funeral and everything! The town convinced them that they found her body at the bottom of a cliff. Julieta was inconsolable and is now basically a shell of herself, she’s mute and she doesn’t cook anymore, she thought she couldn’t save her daughter so what use was she.

Mirabels hair is matted, she doesn’t have a hairbrush and no one will fix it for her, it’s not been cut in years and her dress is too long on her (it was an old bit of curtains she turned into a sloppy dress). She’s also barefoot, the town didn’t think she’d ever leave so they never have her any, her feet and mangled and bloody?

When Mirabel first entered casita, it immediately stopped helping and caring about anyone else at the party, casita immediately recognised her and was ecstatic to have her back, it always favoured the girl for some reason. Mirabel was its favourite and she was back.

The villagers were in a panic though, trying to keep the madrigals away from her and trying to usher her out the building, which was stopped in every way by casita trying to keep her safe

Not all of the villagers know about Mirabel, it’s mainly the elders and older adults that know, the only exception is Mariano who went for a hike one day and found the young girl and visits her alot.

After a while the madrigals would be able to get their way through the crowd and spot the ten year old, anxiously standing on the spot, and genuinely scared of casita. The villagers hid that part from her.

Pepa is trailing Julieta behind her, ever since Mirabel went missing she’s tried to take care of her sister. And next to her is Felix who’s holding baby Antonio who the party is for, Julieta hasn’t spoke since Mirabel went missing, but when she spotted the girl she felt familiar, the family stared at Mirabel for a solid five minutes sharing quite mumbles before Julieta steps forward crouching down so she makes eye contact with her daughter and lets out a tiny, hourse

“Mira..?” Mirabel just nods her head quietly and all hell breaks loose, Julieta and Agustin run and pull their daughter into a tight hug with her siblings and Camilo not far behind, unlike everyone else he never entertained the idea that she was dead, but it was still a relief. The rest of the family are mostly in shock before Alma declares that the party is over.

Some of the villagers scared of being caught making up excuses like “how do we know she’s not lying?” To “oh that’s my baby sister from out of town, she’s ill I need to take her home” the family aren’t having any of it and order them our which casita quickly does without a second thought.

They take Mirabel into the kitchen everyone fretting over her and making sure she’s ok and for the first time in five years Julieta makes healing food, she’s so glad she can. Everyone tries to interrogate her on what happened and where she’s been but the girl barely has any knowledge on English only knowing “food” “drink” “stop” and “sorry”

They wouldn’t really find out for years what happened to Mirabel but she’s highly traumatised, she dosent really get better at speaking but she finnally learns to read a write.

The family is protective in Mirabel in their own ways through this though, after what happened they can’t stand to see her sad, especially since she never lost her kindness, she didn’t deserve what happened

Surprisingly Mirabel get closest with Antonio, she’s set back mentally alot. So the family teach them together, he dosent treat her different or like she’s about to break. She’s just Mirabel and not Mirabel it gives her normalcy and she loves him for it

The town get away with what they did for another five years until Mirabel explains in a diary what happened that she tries to hide but its eventually found

The family aren’t happy in the slightest

The people they lived with, that they trusted, that felt like family had done something so vile. And to a five year old, a toddler and seemingly have zero remorse.

It’s not a pretty sight

It’s a pretty big blood bath and none of them feel bad about it

Squid Game AU: In the seconds between Mirabel's words and her being shot, Isabela has memories of when Mirabel was a child, back when they all thought she'd get a gift, and always asking her and Luisa to play with her. They were never able to say no. Until the day Mirabel didn't get a gift. They always turned her down, and eventually Mirabel stopped asking. And it's with tears and a broken heart that she realises Mirabel's last words are the ones she always said after playing with them

Ok but like at first I thought like, oh yeah the door age with them cause ya know magic house.

But all of them show what age and what they look like when the house falls apart.

I only stoped that the doors age with them when I saw the leaked image from the golden book shows the triplets getting their doors and it shows them getting their adult doors

And then I thought maybe they all instantly got their adult doors but for everyone else they have doors that have their age the same age they are when the house falls apart
