- Mulan (super badass movie, loves action)

- Hercules (thinks Megara and Hercules are both hot)

Disney 100 ✨🏰🤍

Wishing you all a happy new year and to Disney, a belated 100th anniversary! 🎉

To celebrate Disney’s century milestone, I created an illustration based on 100 of Disney’s most known and loved characters from their respective movies/ series. I’ve included all the ones I’ve known and feel are generally popular but I’m sorry if your personal favourites aren’t here.

This has been in the works for almost four months now but due to many delays I couldn’t finish it on time. So here it finally is!

Out of all these range characters, the hardest to draw was the Cars. I’m not used to drawing cars so I’m not generally good at them (yet). Some of these may look simple and easy to draw but trust me, they’re not 😂.

With drawing the characters and the background, I like to be accurate with the respective style it’s drawn/ animated in and the colours too. But also I wanted to also simplify the 3D ones and add a little depth using shadow to the 2D ones. For example some of these films would have a desaturated grainy effect to it and I wanted to keep that. But finally after months of working on it, it’s completed and I’m happy with it! ✨.

Hello! Yes I loved that Disney movie, of course I know who Meg is! This is a fun request, but I decided to keep the person gender neutral.

He's, first of all, afraid of you. Unlike the Hercules version of Hades where he's confident around Megara, Idia's basically terrified because of how strong you are

You aren't afraid to speak up to others, you roll your eyes whenever Azul tries to swerve you into a contract, and you're extremely smart in all of your classes. Overall, you're a m e n a c e

He's shocked that you want to date him, an otaku who's more afraid of the sun than a vampire haha. But he doesn't mind, he had a crush on you since you rescued him from having to meet Malleus.

He likes to game with you, since you're also really good at it. Ortho thinks that you're an absolute mvp too!

Idia's probably super shy around you in public, so if you decide to tease him with flirty remarks, or ever drape your arms around him, expect his hair to glow red and for him to turn redder than Riddle in a bad mood.

Either way, I feel like this is a really cute concept, sort of like an opposites attract thing. If you give him a lot of attention, he'll love it but never be able to tell you directly. Expect lots of awkward attempts at pick-up lines and for him to end up as the blushing mess instead!

cg!hades, regressor!reader, ascended-to-godhood!reader. due to being from a pov that is very attached to hades, not wholly sympathetic to meg and hercules. hurt/comfort

i ought to admit, this... isn't my best work, lol. i rewatched hercules and it still didn't feel right, but i felt bad letting the request sit too long in my inbox. Meg and Hercules are... sorta the villains here? they're doing it from a place of caring, and Meg has a lotta issues with Hades... they're not bad guys really, but they are making a mistake (maybe one i might write them fixing later. who knows!)

"Lord Hercules, Lady Megara. My Lord speaks of you both." You clutch your chiton tightly as you look at the two heroes, trying not to betray your nerves too strongly. Or betray the fact that you really, truly, do not want to speak.

"My father's mentioned you as well." You stiffen up at that, even though it's probably just the usual gossip that goes around when a mortal ascends. Probably, most likely, flavoured with that disdain for Hades and those that live with the dead that all the gods above have.

"I see. Well, please excuse me, but I must be getting on with my duties." The formal mask serves you well, here.

"What exactly is your domain? Hades is as close-lipped as ever on the matter."

"Well, Lady Megara, I don't–see how it is of any concern to you. Please excuse me." You bow shortly, then step back and let your form dissolve into smoke, so that you can be on your way. So that you can escape.

(It's quite likely, you think, that you'll need to sit with Hades for a while when you get back. And he'll rant about how the gods favour the heroes born to them, but you don't mind that.)

"You manage to get that stubborn ghost back down here?" Hades is as ever, and that in itself is enough to calm you just a little.

Mechanically, you nod, then sit yourself down on your cushion, letting yourself go sort of limp.

"Stressful time up there, huh? You ran into someone?"

For a second time, you nod, and hold up two fingers so that he can see.

"Two someones, huh? Don't worry, kid, barely anyone's likely to come down here after you."

You flinch.

"Ran into someones who... might?" He himself sounds hesitant now, though he hides it well. "It wasn't Hercules and Megara, though, right?"

Though you don't say anything, your stillness is answer enough.

"Oh, mercy," he says, and then you spy, at a distance, the two heroes. Hades rises to his feet, and so do you, clinging to the fabric of his robes as though it's anchoring you to reality. "So nice to meet again, heroes," he drawls."

"You've been hurting the godling."

Rapidly, you shake your head, but you don't think they see it.

"Hades, we spoke to them earlier, and they said–"

"They spoke? That's strike one, then, because if they can help it, they don't." Hades's firey hair turns red as he interrupts Hercules. "Go on, why do you think I'm hurting the kid."

"You're hardly the best candidate to care for anyone!" Megara's eyes are practically burning as she says it. You know of their history, you know that she has every reason to think this, but–

You tremble slightly, clinging tighter to Hades.

"Get out."

"But-"

"Get. Out."

Even faced with the god's wrath, his form covered in ruby-red flame, they don't back down. Hercules puffs up more "Not unless-"

"Stop it," you whisper, unable to take much more of this.

Improbably, the two heroes hear you. Hercules pales, and they both–

–they say something to each other, and then they leave.

There's a beat. Hades turns, crouches down. "Hey, hey kid," he says, tone oh so gentle, gentler than you think you've ever heard it before, despite the rage that he'd been in just a minute ago. (He'd... he'd calmed himself, for you.) "Those idiots are gone now, yeah?"

You nod, slowly.

He sighs slightly, though it's not you he seems aggravated at, and lifts you up. Unlike what usually happens though, he just holds you there. Like a moth to a flame, you press yourself closer to him, soaking up his shadowy-safe presence. In his arms, you're so small, so protected. Nothing could ever hurt you.

All is right with the world.

3. (A song that reminds me of them)- This truly is a hard question since there are so many of them but the one that immediately comes into my mind is “Arcadia” by Lana Del Rey, due to Darcy’s fragile feelings (in my opinion!). Other ones by LDR are “Text book”, “Tomorrow never came”, “Summer bummer” and “Salvatore” but they’re all somewhat connected to her relationship with Riven (as I usually think of them as one individual lol). Another iconic one is “Hypnotic” by Zella Day. And the last ones are “Frasi e fumo” and “Per un niente” by Nina Zilli.

4. (How many people I ship them with)- I ONLY ship her with 1 character

5. (My favorite ship of them)-I only ship Darcy with Riven, it’s always been like this, I just can’t see her with anyone else. I really loved the way she acted in the few moments she has with Riven, he really seemed to have a big impact on her, making her so… normal? The way they immediately got along and her acting like the teenage girl with feeling she is, meanwhile these were the only moments in which she’s so strongly singled out as an individual that we never see later on, unfortunately… (it’s all so sweet and yet such an irony that he was the one to “hypnotise” her and not the other way back). Or simply- I’ve always loved the way they loved.

6. (My least favorite ship of them )- That must be DarcyxValtor. Or honestly any other ship that’s not her and Riven lol. It’s not like I “hate” this one the most, I’ve just seen it quite a lot and I really don’t like seeing so many people shipping her with him rather than Riven, since Darcy and Valtor were never a thing.

14. (Best storyline they had)- I really love the moments she transforms into someone else (like in issue 115 as Cadyr and as Stella in 1x05 ) to trick the Winx or when she is associated with some mythical creature (like Ariadne in s6).

15. (Worst storyline they had)- that must be her Valtor-obsession phase in s3… The whole plot was great, it was very intriguing to see Valtor tricking them and constantly causing fights between the Trix but I don’t like seeing them as stupid girls following him around and not standing for themselves for the most of the time, letting Valtor to fool them with childish tricks.

27. (If they could meet a character from another show/movie/etc, who would be the most fun for them to meet?)- I haven’t really thought about that so far but I’ll say I see Darcy getting along mostly with Megara (from Hercules), they are so similar and yet so different. Maybe then, with her as a friend, Darcy would become more communicative, sincere and confident/comfortable to express her feelings.

Disney Princesses x Marvel

A diversion from the IAC universe...

This started as a Disney Princesses thing but expanded to include female characters from Disney films that would fit the bill.

Basically finding a Marvel equivalent for Disney characters.

Snow White:

Snow White - Struggling to think of a Marvel character that is good at sleeping, with a weakness for poison apples.

She does charm all the animals when she's singing, maybe Nature Girl? Or Nina Gurzky from the Apocalypse movie.

Cinderella:

Cinderella - Sersi (w blue colour scheme)

After her Fairy Godmother's transmutation magic (Pumpkin into coach etc).

Alice in Wonderland:

Alice - Stature

Peter Pan:

Tinkerbell - Pixie (w green colour scheme)

Obviously.

Wendy - Wasp (w light blue colour sceme)

Mimicking Tinkerbell's size and flight with tech.

Sleeping Beauty:

After Maleficent's power set

The Sword in the Stone:

Mad Madam Mim - Morgan le Fay

Maybe giving Mim too much credit here.

Mary Poppins:

Mary Poppins - Scarlet Witch

From Mowgli's affinity with animals.

Miss Eglantine Price - Magik maybe?

A better magic user than she gives herself credit for.

Robin Hood:

Maid Marian - Hawkeye (Clint Barton w pink colour sceme)

After Robin's archery skills.

The Black Cauldron:

Princess Eilonwy - Sylvie (w Black body armour, white cloak and pink trousers)

Black cauldron is all a bit mystical isn't it? Maybe I should watch it again.

The Little Mermaid:

Ariel - Namor (w Purple top and green bottoms)

After King Triton's powers. There is a Marvel Triton (Inhumans), but his look and powers don't match up.

Beauty and the Beast:

Belle - Beast of the X-Men (w yellow costume and brown fur)

After the Beast's powers and Belle's smarts.

Aladdin:

Jasmine - Captain Agrabah

This is a reach. After the Genie's reality altering powers. Jamie Braddock was the first character to spring to mind, brother to Captain Britain, and the movie is set in the fictional city of Agrabah.

Pocahontas:

Pocahontas - Ghost Rider

No powers in Pocahontas but there is a Powhatan Ghost Rider in the comics.

The Hunchback of Notre Dame:

Esmerelda - Dazzler maybe?

Cos she sings and dances? idk

Hercules:

Megara - Marvel's Hercules or Mephisto?

From the power set of the protagonist/antagonist of her movie.

Mulan:

Mulan - Agent May

Obviously.

Obviously.

The Emperor's New Groove

Zootopia:

Judy Hopps - Umm...Rabbit Girl instead of Squirrel Girl? idk

Moana:

Moana - Can't think of an equivalent, even though she befriends a Polynesian demigod and calms a corrupted Goddess!

Onward:

Corey - There is actually a Marvel character called Manticore but he does not do this character justice.

Raya and the Last Dragon:

Raya - Blue Dragon from Marvel's Future Fight

She is called Blue DRAGON, she is a physical fighter like Raya, and she hails from Vietnam (Kelly Marie Tran is ethnically Vietnamese).

Encanto:

Abuela - Nick Fury

She knows how to put together a Team of supers.

Julieta - Heals with food. No equivalent in Marvel that I can think of.

Pepa - Storm or Crystal

Isabella - Plantwoman

Genderswapped Plantman.

Luisa - Captain Colombia

Super strength, agility and endurance like Captain America, but Luisa is Colombian.

😂 I pronounce it “Meg-eye-ruh”

It’s the name of one of the the Furies in Greek mythology. It’s very close to another Greek mythology name, Megara (of Hercules movie fame) but the e turns the middle into a blended vowel that sounds like the typical English pronunciation of eye (the body part)

Fun fact another name my friend and I came across when we were doing classics homework is Megakles (rhymes with Herakles aka hercules) and the friend started calling me Megaerakles by blending the two and that’s how I got the pseudonym I write most of my fanfic under!

Hades, o Deus do Submundo, ficou farto de ser subestimado pelos seus irmãos deuses do Olimpo. Ele planejou sua vingança e elaborou um plano para destruir o Olimpo e governar ele sozinho. O Deus sabia que o cálice dos deuses era a chave para sua vitória. E este cálice possuía o poder de curar qualquer ferida e conceder vida eterna, tornando seu dono invencível. No entanto, o cálice estava guardado no Olimpo e protegido pelos deuses mais poderosos. Hades sabia que não poderia enfrentar o Olimpo sozinho e precisava de ajuda. Então, ele procurou o duende mais trapaceiro chamado Rumpelstiltskin, que era conhecido por seu amor pelo ouro e por suas artimanhas. Hades fez um acordo com ele, oferecendo-lhe riquezas e apoio em troca do cálice dos deuses. Com o cálice em suas mãos, Hades se tornou mais poderoso do que nunca. Ele lançou uma enorme ofensiva contra o Olimpo, destruindo tudo em seu caminho. Mesmo os deuses mais poderosos não puderam resistir ao poder do cálice.
