hi. life story anon here. so basically my (ex-)boyfriend and i dressed up as ladybug and chat noir for halloween 2k23 and then we broke up in january 2k24. to cheer myself up i asked one of my Close Guy Friends-- whom I've known since 8th grade (we're in college now for frame of reference) --if he wanted to go to a local comic con with me and he said yes. i told him i was dressing up like ladybug and he said he'd dress up like Luka (keep in mind. he has never watched a single episode of Miraculous up til then.) and spent the week before making the costume + dyeing his hair. then on the ride home, he told me he's had a crush on me since sophomore year. while wearing the luka costume. and while i was dressed like ladybug still. we gave it a shot but then broke up after a week cause we realized it wouldn't work out (we made sure we were still comfortable with each other as friends, though). but in that moment in the car i was like. what the fuck. they did this in miraculous ladybug.
