K. Kirigiri Crush Headcanons

Tends to stare at you then loses track of how long she’s been doing it.

Will go out of her way to do favors for you. Just because. No reason at all.

Her usually unreadable behavior can become transparent, giving off hints to how she feels about you.

Blushes more easily. It’s very obvious since she’s like a lamp.

Tries to compliment you in casual conversations.

If she notices something off with your body language she’ll start to slowly overthink the moment. Then immediately right after downplays it, believing you were just being friendly.

Thinks she’s doing a good job at hiding it

She’s not

If you’re more outgoing and extroverted, she’ll become flustered due to being outside her comfort zone.

If you’re the opposite, she’ll try to get to know you better by asking questions and initiating conversations.

Tried to see if she could impress you with a show of her detective skills.

Kyoko could be herself around you as she is less guarded in your presence. Meaning she is more vulnerable and willing to show her emotions, as well as more playful and humorous actions.

She won’t do it first, but she’ll let you hug her. If you’re lucky, she’ll hold your hand.

She will wait for when she thinks is the right time to confess. Most likely when you are alone together.

Before that however, she’ll drop subtle hints if you are smart enough to catch them.

Doesn’t try to tiptoe around it and says it out right to get it over with. With flowers in her hands of course.

Though I doubt it’ll go the way she intends. Possibly being a spur of the moment.

Her face shows stoicism and she appears calm, but internally she is a nervous wreck.

“I like you. As time has gone by, my feelings for you have changed. You mean a lot to me, and I’ve realized just how much I care for you. So, if you will have me, I would… like to take our relationship to the next level.”

Speechless when you accept. In denial at first.

Sayaka, Celestia, Kyoko, And Kaede With A Fem!Artist S/O Who Used To Draw Nude Women And Is Embarrassed About It Now

Sayaka had been over to your house to watch a movie with you one morning.

However, you excused yourself to the bathroom for a moment or two, telling her not to do anything crazy without you.

Sayaka laughed and told you not to worry.

"I pinky promise, S/O! And a pinky promise is for life!"

Chuckling at your girlfriend's cuteness, you left her alone in your living room.

When you were gone, however, Sayaka eventually got lonely and bored without you, so she started poking around randomly to entertain herself.

You can only imagine the shock and redness of her face when she stumbled upon a sketchbook full of drawings of naked women.

Quickly, she tucked it back into where she found it and sat rigidly on the couch, clawing at the hem of her skirt.

You came in on your girlfriend looking as though she had been turned into a tomato, based on the shade of her face.

"Saya? What's wrong? Why are you so red?"

"N-Nothing, S/O! Nothing at all!"

Aside from that moment, she's an A-plus actor in pretending she never saw the sketchbook.

She'll never let on that she knows.

It'll be her little secret. :)

Celestia is the kind of person that appreciates the fine arts, such as the sculptures made by the Greeks and Romans, despite most of them all being nude, ad well.

She thinks the architecture and work that went into them just shows the dedication the ancient societies had for their deities, after all.

So when she broke in one morning, as she normally did, to ask you to accompany her to a café, she spotted a book hanging from one of your kitchen cabinets.

She thought it was an odd place to have a book, but nonetheless, wanting to be courteous to you, she reached for it to put it back. Then it fell out of the cabinet.

Celeste was shocked when it opened to a drawing of a woman with very large... assets...

Was that what you were into? She certainly didn't measure up... She didn't look like that...

That was when she realized... she now has blackmail for life.

"S/OOOOOO~."

"Yes, Celeste?"

"I order you to take me to my favorite café to order my royal milk tea. Or else."

"Or else?"

"Why, your artistry will go on display, of course!"

She shows shows the pictures on her phone and all the color drains from your face right before her eyes.

"Darling, I'm joking. Though I must say, your skill in the arts is remarkable. Have you considered doing it professionally?"

"That's what that was... Ah, please don't tell anyone!"

She chuckles.

"Darling, if you don't wish for it to become public knowledge, I will refrain from sharing."

And so you both move on, and yes, you get Celeste her royal milk tea.

When Kyoko showed up to your house, it was because she had agreed to come over and help you with cleaning.

When she entered, she saw how bad the house really looked. Including several drawings of naked women who were posed in normal-esque manners.

"Were you an art student, S/O?"

"What do you mean?"

"You've certainly drawn an incredible amount of unclothed women..."

You explained to her that you used to be an artist who drew those women for a profit, causing Kyoko to smile.

"So what I'm hearing is... you made money off of seeing girls naked? Anyone's dream, I suppose. Still, why did you remain with the career for long enough to do all of these?"

"Why else? Money."

"That makes sense."

She helped you clean all the drawings up and place them somewhere safer, leaving the choice whether to keep them or throw them away up to you.

If you chose to keep them, she helps you hang them up on your wall, reassuring you of you being talented and the drawings being spectacular, or placing them into an organized folder.

And if you chose to throw them away, secretly, she keeps them. She likes viewing the work of something so perfectly made by her own S/O's handiwork, after all.

She loves everything you've made, and can't see what's to come next. :)

Kaede was laying beside you after a cuddling session in your room when she spotted one of the drawings over your shoulder.

"Is that a naked girl?"

Not wanting to lie to her, you nodded and told her the honest truth.

"Yeah... I, uh, I used to draw naked women for practice and stuff..."

"I think that's really epic! I've heard that a lot of artists start that way, and have to draw naked women in art school, and everything."

"No, it's embarrassing... I feel like such a pervert now..."

"Nothing wrong with mastering the female anatomy artistically!"

Her enthusiasm, while very comforting, also serves to make you more embarrassed. You were convinced that Kaede was an angel and that you didn't deserve her.

What other girlfriend would be so accepting of you seeing the bodies of other girls?

Kaede Akamatsu, that's who!

She'll actually do her best to get you new models, if you'd like to continue doing it.

But if not, or if you'd like something else, Kaede will also volunteer to pose so you can draw her! Be it clothed or nude.

All in all, she's probably the most supportive out of all the girls on this list.

❤ He is interested, horribly interested. He already knows the basic command terms in JSL to communicate with his more intelligent animals, but ASL, and for a human, seems like almost a fun little project.

❤ He uses his mouth a lot when he signs and it's just something he picked up from JSL. You love it when he signs to you, his intense eyes sometimes wonder, as he is not used to looking at a person for so long, though he never looks at you like he's too concentrated (he raises his eyebrows when he needs, and he smiles when he needs too).

❤ He is a more teach-me-casually type of person.

❤ To you specifically, he is more calm and he uses his inside voice, so when he signs it portrays that. Sometimes he shows a devilish smile that perfectly portrays his sense of wicked-ness (the one that he tries to give off), and you think it's amusing how sometimes his evil aura can be genuine.

❤ He knows animal signs the best, and not because he picks up on them but because he studies them extra hard. He wants to be able to communicate his heavy appreciation of animals.

❤ He has a lot of his own versions of signing "come over here".

❤ There's something a bit flamboyant about the way he decides to sign his own name - it's as if he practices how to introduce himself.

❤ His radiant smile gives a glow to every word he decides to say, he is so handsome that sometimes it steals your breath away.

❤ He signs some things wrong and he doesn't even notice, he does it so often that sometimes you secondguess yourself - am I doing it wrong?

❤ He went from originally having nothing to say, but the more you sit down with him and teach him, he talks a lot.

❤ It's easy to teach him nouns but once it comes to verbs and especially adjectives he's like woah there.

❤ He doesn't pick up ASL fast, because who would, but he gets the sentence structure and the grammar perfectly, and you're very amazed by that.

Kyoko Kirigiri

❤ She is the most interested as well as one of the most willing. She thinks knowing some sign languages might make her investigations a lot smoother, especially considering it gives her easy accessibility to talking to more hypothetical suspects. The SHSL Detective does a lot of planning for future situations.

❤ She likes it when you sit down in front of her like a teacher and teach her some words. She'd rather learn like that than you tell her random words throughout the day.

❤ She is a note-taker and a flashcard learner.

❤ Her biggest struggle is her straight face. She has to maneuver her eyebrows and lip shape now? MAn.

❤ Tries to figure out how to use big words but she quality realizes really one of the main differences between excellent and good is facial expressions.

❤ She still uses "interesting" a lot.

❤ ^ She even got the raising of eyebrows.

❤ Her levels of communication are a lot more advanced than other people, and even for her consistent solitude she still finds a way to be mildly appealing to talk to when it comes to conversations she wants to be in. And she wants to be in almost every conversation in ASL since it requires the commitment of actually recognizing she knows it.

❤ Plus, it's good practice. Day-to-day conversations slowly become sign-based.

❤ There is also the tinge of secrecy that she likes about ASL. Especially in Japan, not many people know sign language, nevertheless one from another country, so she finds a good sense of pride in knowing it and being able to communicate to you in public.

❤ Hey, if you're ever a part of an investigation (actively) she will have confidence in your presence.

•Kyoko had noticed you very often, constantly solving cases of your work.

•Many had heard about you, and of course, there’s no reason Kyoko wouldn’t have, either, taking pride in her detective work.

•You were a criminal, so... obviously, her interest was piqued. Maybe it wasn’t positive interest, but it was certainly interest.

•Your name showed up in her files and her documents, and she absolutely wanted nothing more than for the authorities to capture you so she could be done with this.

•...No. Rephrase that. Kyoko wanted to capture you— she wanted to be the one to put you in your place.

•If no one could find you, if you were so skilled that not even the highest department of authorities could find you, she would do it herself.

•It was a raw kind of intrigue, a chilling one that even she was unsure of why she had it. All she knew was that she was going to find you.

•Kyoko started by going out late at night, scanning through the areas that you had often committed crimes in and awaiting for some sort of appearance.

•She waited in alleyways and she searched in abandoned places that you could be living in.

•And oh, believe her, Kyoko is not the type to give up easily. She was going to find you, regardless of the cost. It began to be some sort of odd obsession, to her.

•And when Kyoko finally managed to find you, she would take no chances of you escaping, either forcing you to breathe something in that would put you to sleep, or simply knock you out, depending on how much you struggled.

•She knows she should take you to the proper authorities. Take pride in the Kirigiri name and solve one of the most major crime cases in the area.

•...But she found herself taking you to the security of her own home, tying your binds tight and even locking the doors to the room to ensure you would not escape.

•When you awoke, she was more than happy to explain to you the predicament you were in.

•She told you you would be staying with her for a long time, unable to continue your crimes.

•But... oddly enough, Kyoko found herself admiring the fact that she had captured someone like you. So, if you were expecting her to let you go soon... Tough luck.

•No worries, though! Kyoko will feed you properly and allow you basic hygiene. She’ll even talk to you. But... You are a criminal, after all. You can’t expect her to get too friendly.

•She still hardly understands why she needs to capture you, keep you tied up in her home. It’ll take some time for her to realize it may be because she cares for you, in whatever sick way that may be.

•But you would much rather be in her care than in the local jail, wouldn’t you?

she'd internally panic depending on the fatality, depth, and size of the wound(s), but the stress would barely be evident on her face.

however, i said barely. her eyebrows would still be furrowed as she analyzed your injur(ies)y and she'd noticeably start to sweat out of nervousness if you began bleeding out and/or falling unconscious.

she'd be more stern, impatient, and quick to get snappy until she knows that you're in good hands, stabilized, and safe from any further harm.

if you accidentally got hurt just from being clumsy, she'd immediately rush over to help you, but not without lightly scolding you in a strict tone while she's bandaging you up.

she's not so great with expressing herself all the time, so if you actually got hurt or felt ashamed by her words, her lavender eyes would visibly soften and she'd take both your hands into her own gloved ones, pressing gentle kisses and pecks to your face.

"i'm sorry, my dearest s/o. i didn't mean to offend you, i'm only worried about you. please, forgive me."

she doesn't get jealous often. it's very rare for her to get jealous because normally, people are lowkey scared of messing with her because she has a case of major resting bitch face and looks like she'll backhand anyone at anytime, and secondly, she trusts you and believes that you'd stay loyal to her.

however, on those rare occasions that she does actually get jealous, kyoko will get just a bit huffy and pouty. though it won't be so visible or noticeable, her behavior definitely shows it. she's a little more irritable and sarcastic while the person who's making her jealous is around.

when they leave, kyoko will take ahold of one of your hands and intertwine your fingers or loop an arm around your waist silently, tucking her hair behind her ear as she tries to nonchalantly avoid your gaze. it's so apparent that she's embarrassed to be acting this way.

she's kind of ashamed to be feeling so possessive but she can't help it, she loves you lots and is trying to be discreet </3 please smother the local detective waifu with all your love and affection 🛐

summary: kyoko's been given the silent treatment all day, but at the end of the day she's still there to comfort y/n throughout the storm.

"you're always busy," y/n sighed.

"i know. i told you there's a big project coming up, and--"

"yeah, i know," y/n pushed her breakfast around with her spoon. "i just don't see the point of you asking me to move in with you if you're never gonna be here."

"i thought you knew what it would mean to move in with me," kyoko said as she tried to meet y/n's eyes, only to find them staring at the plate in front of her. "you've always known i was a busy person."

"yeah, you're right," y/n huffed, getting up and putting her plate away. "i should've known better."

"y/n, don't be like--"

"like what?" y/n challenged, her eyebrows knit together as she flipped around to glare at her lover. "sorry i couldn't use my brilliant detective skills to figure out that you would never have time for me."

"stop," kyoko frowned. "cool off."

"cool off?" y/n let out a dry laugh. "fine. i'll 'cool off'."

"y/n--"

the door was slammed before she could finish saying her name.

kyoko shook her head and sighed.

when y/n came back, there were no words exchanged between them.

at first it wasn't obvious because kyoko was rarely one to start a conversation, but after three hours of silence she attempted to try.

"y/n?" kyoko called into the office.

there was no response.

"y/n?" she tried again, just a bit louder.

after getting no response again, she opened the door. sure enough, it revealed the woman who was aggressively typing on her keyboard.

"can you hear me?"

the only response she got was more angry clicking.

kyoko looked around and saw that there was no way that y/n couldn't hear her. she wasn't wearing earphones, and other than the loud clacks of the keyboard it was silent.

"y/n," kyoko sighed. "are you ignoring me?"

well, the answer was clear before she even asked. it didn't take a detective to figure out that y/n was giving kyoko the silent treatment.

"this is ridiculous," kyoko rolled her eyes and left the office.

and it was true. that's what kyoko fully believed until it reached lunchtime.

"when're you gonna stop ignoring me?" kyoko asked as they sat at the table to eat lunch.

y/n daintily picked up her napkin and patted the corners of her mouth before getting up and putting away her dish.

kyoko still thought it was ridiculous, but she was starting to understand how effective it was. she missed the cheerful chatty y/n, and she wasn't enjoying the foreign tense silence that filled their shared home.

she preferred y/n's angry yelling to her composed purposeful silence.

"is this because i told you to cool off?" kyoko asked as she leaned against the door to y/n's office.

y/n jumped slightly, as kyoko could be as quiet as a cat. the detective smiled, remembering the last time she had managed to sneak up on y/n. she had screamed in surprise and suggested they get her a kitty bell.

the smile was quickly wiped off of her face when she realized that the jump was going to be y/n's only reaction. no playful remark, only more unbearable silence.

she wasn't sure how long this silent treatment was going to last, but it made her appreciate y/n's talkativeness more. you never realize how much you love something until it's gone.

"what do you want for dinner? we can order," she tried again after a while, hoping that y/n's love for food would overrule her ridiculous resolve.

unfortunately, it did not.

before she could order y/n's favorite like she had planned, y/n was in the kitchen preparing dinner like most other nights.

"tastes good," kyoko complimented. "like it always does."

the comment put a small smile on y/n's face, but she tried to hide it by shoving more food in her mouth.

kyoko sighed through her nose. she was weaker to y/n's voice than she thought she would be. less than a day in, and she was already desperate to be graced by y/n's often pointless but heartening chatter again.

kyoko went to bed earlier than she normally would've. well, physically she was in bed. she couldn't sleep.

for an entire hour, she wondered if y/n would come to their shared bed tonight or if she would sleep on the couch.

after that hour of restlessness, y/n switched off all of the lights in their home and slipped under the sheets with kyoko.

y/n would normally snuggle up to kyoko, but tonight she stayed on her side of the bed.

even though y/n was there, kyoko was left sleepless for another half hour. she didn't know if y/n was asleep yet, but she didn't dare turn around to check.

a distant boom sounded, and as if on cue, the pitter pattering of the rain started.

kyoko turned on her back to face the ceiling. she figured that she wouldn't be able to sleep any time soon, so she stared blankly at the ceiling, trying to figure out how to make this better.

she continuously felt the need to sigh, but she didn't want to give in, so she tried to take deep breaths to calm her restlessness. perhaps after a few relaxing inhales and exhales, her mind will finally shut off.

it was only when the claps of the thunderstorm got louder that kyoko noticed that something was off. y/n's elbow had accidentally jabbed into kyoko's arm as a result of a violent flinch after a particularly loud rumble.

kyoko turned her head to face y/n. her back was to her, but she could tell that she was scared because of how intensely she was shaking.

she wasn't sure if it was the right thing to do, but she reached over and wrapped her arms around y/n's convulsing body, spooning her shaking love.

"i'm sorry i'm not here that often," kyoko apologized, pushing her pride aside. she softly traced patterns onto y/n's arm, trying to distract her from the booming sky. "i'll do better."

y/n leaned back into the warmth and pulled kyoko's arms to wrap around her tighter.

"i love you," kyoko said as y/n's breathing evened.

"i love you, too," y/n said so quietly that kyoko almost missed it.

kyoko smiled, absentmindedly running her fingers through y/n's hair. after a torturous day of not hearing y/n's voice, she had been rewarded.

“Please let me go...” you whimpered quietly, eyes focused on the little steel table in front of you. There were a few common and some less known tools displayed on it, Kyouko standing on the other side of it, carefully polishing some of the steel tongs.

No matter how hard you pulled and tore at the restrains on the comfortable armchair you had been placed on, they wouldn’t come off. Neither the ones on your wrists nor on your ankles seemed very impressed by your efforts, even though your skin was turning blue under the strain.

You had trusted her, and she had tricked you.

Despite everything you two were going through, you had still thought you could rely on Kirigiri, who always gave you shelter and spend her time to calm you. Even when you two got stuck in this survival horror game of a maniac, she had still looked out for you, taken your hand, and comforted you - so why would she do this now?

Foolishly, you had her lead you to this backroom, telling you she had to show you something, but you were pretty sure this place had been carefully chosen so no one could hear you scream. “W-Why are you doing this?” you questioned meekly. Finally, with the tears flooding into your eyes, you gained her attention.

Eyes meeting, her usual stern expression, softened, yes, she even smiled. You wanted to insult her, throw her madness right back at her, but she calmly put down the tools, and surrounded the table. Sitting down on the armrest to your left, she wrapped her arms around your shoulder and head, pulling you against her and tenderly brushing over your head. She hushed you softly, taking deep breaths with you before releasing you again, a soft smile playing over her lips.

“I-I’m not even that special, why me?” you whispered fearfully, looking at her with the biggest, most scared eyes you could muster. “We’ve been through all of this- I didn’t- We didn’t do anything wrong-”

Placing a long, elegant finger over your mouth, she made you stop your hysterical whimpering, continuing to cup your cheek and drive her bone over it affectionately. “I know,” she admitted, and you felt the spark of hope rise up in you.

“I know. I know everything about you, Darling, and you’re so perfect.”Standing up again, you watched her walk over to the steel table again, mixed feelings inside of you. If... that’s how she felt, she might still be reasoned with? She won’t kill you like you feared! If you could just get through to her, she’d surely understand-

But the moment she found what she was looking for, your face grew pale, watching her pick up the massive hammer, almost too big for her own hands. Tugging her gloves in place, she did a trial swing, seeing if she could handle the huge tool, before turning back around towards you.

“I love you, so I have to take care of you. It’s what you wanted too, right?” Kyouko’s expression was loving, even if sadness sparked in her eyes, and you slowly began to shake your head. “N-No! I don’t want to die!” you squealed, and you could see the initial confusion in her furrowed brows before she lit up. “Oh! Oh, no, Darling! Nothing like that!”

Now it was your turn to be confused as you watched her get down on a knee, working to unclasp the ankle cuff of your left foot, carefully lifting it up to her face and kissing the pained spot where the restraint had hurt you. “I just want to make sure no one else gets to you when I can’t be by your side. I am keeping you safe, you understand that?”

She looked at you worried, desperate even, her words seeming genuine when paired with the fear she showed you. “I- I see...” you stuttered, none wiser than before, but some part of you was just relieved she wouldn’t kill you.

“That’s why you got to stay here, and I need to make sure no one finds you.”

Gripping the handle of the hammer again, Kyoko laid the cold steel against your ankle to test it, leaving in the dark still about her doings though a knot started to build in your stomach. “This will hurt, and you can scream, but promise me not to hate me, [Name],” she sighed, giving you one last pitying look while your leg began to shiver.

“No-” you wanted to persuade her, but it was already too late as she dragged the hammer back, ready to lunge forward towards your ankle.
