stupid pre-game concept that's somehow funny to me: all of the v3 cast are a little fucked up in some way or another. all of them auditioned because they genuinely like danganronpa, just want fame/fortune, wish to die, and/or did it for attention/the kicks. all of them... except for pre-game ouma. like he really isn't some boring and bland cookie cutter everyman, as he still has some flaws and problems he should overcome. but compared to the other students, he's literally just some guy. he's just a slightly overworked student council president who cares too much about getting approval from other people and doesn't know how to have close and sincere friendships with said people. the only reason he's dragged into the dumb game is because some mf signed him up without his notice.
he's concerned of all of them, and would like to help them, but for his own safety, he's also pushing them back with a 10 foot pole. maybe in a "pre-game but before they get kidnapped" scenario he meets momota on some kind of grocery trip, and y'know, it's not too bad, they're chatting about life and stuff. and then momota drops the "i auditioned for danganronpa recently (i plan to win by killing everybody btw)" bomb on ouma and he goes *windows xp error*
or maybe he meets saihara who rambles about the most gruesome executions passionately while ouma listens with a smile as his mind is tossed into the depths of eternal confusion and concern

You wanna know a danganronpa hc that has stuck with me?
Byakuya, Sonia and Nagito (plus Fuyu if you’re feeling naughty) all being siblings from hell. Rich blonds (i know Nagito is naturally a brunette but let me dream okay?) that are absolutely insane in their own ways and get on each other’s nerves.
Sonia keeps trying to get Byakuya to watch true crime with her, while he’s yelling at Nagito for wanting to put a spoon in the microwave because he thought it would warm it up.
Fuyuhiko wonders where the fuck he went wrong to deserve a family like this and is out of the house as much as physically possible so he doesn’t have to deal with a bunch of lunatics.

i have a small idea where kokichi and kaito are brothers and kokichi gets really upset at the idea that kaito cares more about shuichi then him. like if kokichi and shuichi are dating kaito goes to kokichi and gives him a speech to not mess with or hurt shuichis fellings and kokichi gets petty “shouldn’t you be giving shuichi the talk? since *i’m* your brother, not him.”

stupid indulgent crack hc:
kokichi's hair feels really nice and soft. this mildly surprises most people, because really. look at him.
look at that tentacle hair. you think this mf cares about hygiene?
but in reality he actually does. this is because when him and dice were around 14 or so, and one of them touched his hair, whether by patting his head or wanting to do his hair. big mistake
they and the other dice members tried to peacefully convince him to look after his hair better. kokichi being kokichi, he remained stubborn. after many attempts, a few decided to switch tactics: simply piss him off until he changed his mind.
this meant that they referred to him with a petty nickname a 14 year old would come up with ("jack, you're in charge of security " "yes sir spaghett" "...fucking sir spaghett???") or maybe putting passive aggressive/sarcastic notes somewhere in the report files they send (subject tends to purchase more shampoo and conditioner than they need [-wow!! you don't say??]) or putting hair care products in every room he goes in.
some of them were opposed to this, but one by one they eventually gave in. and with all of them pranking him about it every chance they get, kokichi surrendered, finally giving a shit about his hair (taking care of it, at least, he still doesn't bother about how it looks). but until now it somehow managed to be gravity defying and have weirdly greasy looking bundled up strands, no matter how much he combed or looked after it. to this day he practices basic hygiene in general in pure fear of the near past kokichi-level menaces his organization become when he doesn't (totally not because he also doesn't want to them to worry about him or anything)
tl;dr: dice collectively bullied kokichi to wash his fucking hair when they were like 14

[non-despair/pre-despair]
[☆] as class rep, chiaki hosts fun fridays where the class spends the day playing games, eating yummy foods, and hanging out
[☆] kazuichi and ibuki are the class clowns
[☆] in the corner of their classroom, they have beanbag chairs that they can sit and study at! they like to gather around there and study in small groups at times
[☆] they hangout A LOT and even invite hajime to go out with them when they do! they enjoy going to the movies and amusement parks on weekends the class is really inseparable
[☆] sonia loves to give nagito book recommendations and they will often visit the library together
[☆] they’re the loudest class on their floor other classes on the floor can usually hear the chaos from their class (nekomaru and akane sparring, ibuki’s loud music, etc.) they get a lot of noise complaints
[☆] chisa considers the kids as her own and they see her like a mother/second mother
[☆] sonia makes her notes extremely fancy with colorful markers, hiyoko took notice and started to do her notes just like her
[☆] kazuichi is the “where’s my hug at” guy
[☆] mikan hates doing class presentations because she’s afraid she makes a fool out of herself but chiaki, sonia, and mahiru are really good at encouraging her
[☆] most of them eat lunch outside to hangout with the other classes but there are a few who prefer to go to quieter places like the library or stay in the class for lunch
^ chiaki likes to eat with hajime, chihiro, and kiibo (im all here for this friend group), peko and fuyuhiko eat with maki, sakura, hina, and tenko, etc.. (i can make a whole other post about who would be friends with who tbh)
[☆] chiaki made sonia co-class representative for when she’s not there
[☆] ibuki and kazuichi are actually really close friends one day kazuichi came into class bleeding because ibuki tried to give him a piercing
[☆] if one of his classmates didn’t bring lunch or forgot to, teruteru will make something for them so that they don’t go the day without eating
[☆] chiaki and ryota begged chihiro from the 78th class to help them create a game all together
[☆] mahiru takes a lot of pictures of her classmates and at the end of the year she’s make their own classroom yearbook (she’s make them every year)
