🌸🐝🌱 Spring Projects 🌱🐝🌸
I can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to warmer weather and the world coming back to life. It's been a tough winter. Here's hoping the next few months are a little easier, a little kinder, for all of us.
I've got a few things I've been working on that I'm hoping to finish over the next few months, as well as a few things I'd like to get back to, but I'm definitely not holding myself to any of this. Life is still a bit of a roller coaster for me. Writing is a nice little refuge, but I don't have nearly as much time for it as I'd like right now.
The Spring Haladriel Fic Exchange: I'm soooooooooo excited about what I've been working on for this. It's sort of my dream prompt. Look for this sometime between March 11-17, when fics are revealed.
The Venus of Valinor, Chapter 10: I've been plugging along on this, and it's getting really close. Finishing up the exchange is my priority in the near term, but then I'm turning my attention back to Venus in earnest to get this chapter done.
BG3 Halsin x Reader: I've got a couple of drafts going for something for my favorite big bear man. We'll see what, if anything, comes to fruition in the next few months. I'm definitely interested in writing more Halsin fics, though.
The Kiss or Kill ETL Kink Meme will run during the month of April. Looking forward to seeing what comes from that, and if anything sparks for me.
meet me at the edge, chapter 5: We're getting close to the end of meet me. I've got a start on the next chapter, but there's further to go here, so this is the most ambitious goal.

It started with a kiss... or kill
Four years ago, a month and six days after we started tentatively writing together, @greenfaeriefeverdream and I finished Kiss or Kill, the first of many, many wonderful FaerieCat Mormor productions.
A madcap ride for two highly volatile criminals who meet a year after Reichenbach and have to decide if they - well - kiss or kill each other.

Steph: Who was the best kid? Like, when you got them, who was best at, uh, being a..good kid?
Bruce, immediately: Jason.
Tim, traumatized: Let's not do this right now.

Take a look at this guy.
This guy killed three people who were complete jerks, and tried to cover it up with the excuse of "My Mom died and my Dad is shitty", he was toxic as hell, and Veronica would probably be better off if he never met this guy.
So, would you Kiss or Kill this guy?

FairyLoot Adult
Kiss or Kill
May 2023
I didn't actually want this book, I just forgot to skip the month in time! I really do think I'm going to cancel this subscription. I've only actually wanted like, two of the books from the adult subscription.
These books just aren't really my thing? They're not exactly what I was expecting from an Adult fantasy subscription. I was expecting some real epic high fantasy, proper grown up stuff. This is definitely not "Young Adult", but it's maybe... "Adult Lite"?
The book this month is "The Curse of Saints" by Kate Dramis. It's just not really my type of thing, if I'm honest.
This edition has a redesigned dustjacket, with foiling underneath.
The edges are ombre sprayed, which is great normally, but not as exciting as I'd hope from a book-only subscription.
And the endpapers are full artwork character pieces. They're both different, which I love about FairyLoot editions! From the look of this, it's yet another love triangle. Hey, maybe not. Maybe one of them is an adoptive brother with unnerving sexual tension. Or a mortal enemy with no underlying romantic subplot. Live in hope.
