i thought it would be interesting to think about what kenma would be like as a father 🤔

look, im not even gonna be nice with it, i definitely dont see kenma being excited at the idea of having a kid 😭

definitely was like "are you being fr 😟?" when you told him

he obviously wasnt an asshole about it, but he couldn't help his feeling and indifference about the whole thing

the two of you had a long talk about it

the whole time he was more or less "are you sure about this"

hes not a horrible person/partner, he wasnt about to force you to do an abortion

he just wanted to make sure this was actually what you wanted to do and if you were actually serious about it

after you were stern about keeping the baby, he was fine with it

he was more worried about how he would be like as a father because he's very much scared of little kids and struggles to bond with just anyone

Winter days with kenma .

- refuses to leave his bed and comforter which is finally comfortable and warm after he has laid there for hours. So you would have to go over at his place if you wanna hangout.

- isn't ready to finish the day so can't fall asleep and mentally not prepared to start a new day so can't wake up. That's why he has the most fucked up sleep schedule.

He loves cats obviously, but has never really liked dogs. He started growing fond of them however since Hinata loves dogs.

He acts like he doesn’t care that much about volleyball, but he definitely secretly practices on his own whenever he’s not playing video games

(timeskip) He’s a huge sneaker head. He rarely wears any of them but he has so many.

Hoodie fiend. You will always catch him in a hoodie or a zip up, i don’t make the rules. Also, the bigger the better. They’re always oversized

On the note of hoodies, half of the hoodies and jackets he wears are Kuroos. When he goes to his house he’ll just go “i’m cold” and go to his room and steal one.

He lets Hinata braid his hair. Hinata knows really well because of Natsu. Kenma pretends to hate it but when Hinata asks he gets really excited. The feeling of someone playing with his hair relaxes him a lot.

He has an after game ritual that he does every single game. Him and Kuroo always go get ice cream, and if they win, they get whatever flavor they want , and if they lose they both get vanilla. Then he always goes home and takes a nap.

He plays genshin religiously and he mains xiao

(timeskip sort of) In highschool he would make money off of editing other people's youtube videos, but now he edits his own and makes hella of that too. He still edits other people occasionally if he has time, which he usually doesn’t.

He doesn't have the best grades. They aren’t horrible, but he doesn’t get a lot of sleep usually so he doesn’t pay very close attention in class. Kuroo helps him study most of the time.

DAY FOUR OF DATING THE SETTER: A HAIKYUU EVENT

Akaashi let you in. He introduced you to his team and family, he showed you parts of him he often hid away. Akaashi trusted you, and you betrayed him.

He just needs to know why. Why you chose to do that to him.

And when he realises that it wasn't anything that he could have changed, that you're just the type of person who destroys the good things in their life and isn't worth love, he leaves.

He leaves because Akaashi knows he deserves better.

Sure, it hurts, but Akaashi was always good at ignoring his feelings, throwing himself into the game and focusing on other factors like Bokuto's dramatics. So he does just that.

Tanaka- he did car washes with a bunch of his friends one summer. The plan was to only do it to win over cute girls, buuuut that never really worked and he actually got into tons of trouble for not knowing how to clean a car right and getting in sponge fights with his friends lmao

Ennoshita- he was a cashier for a week, and he tried way too hard to be perfect. An angry woman shouted for him and asked to speak to his manager and he cried the entire way home then handed his resignation notice in the next day lmao

Kageyama- he was way too awkward to get a job smh

Hinata- tried to work with noya walking dogs at some point but their energy just annoyed EVERYONE within a 10m distance and noya ended up firing him because he was “making his stocks go down”

Tsukishima- snarky cinema cashier that sighed really loud in your face if you asked for mixed popcorn BUT he always let underage kids get into R rated movies which made him kinda loved in the town

Yamaguchi- worked at a stationery shop and devoted his entire heart and soul to making everything look neat and presentable. The really cute cashier everyone had a crush on

Oikawa- he applied for a job once and didn't show up to the interview cus he had volleyball practice lmao

Mattsun- he got a job at a frozen yogurt shop to make a little money when he was 16. All his friends used him for free food and it became the seijoh hangout spot for like a year

Makki- his aunt got him a job at her candy store but he was the WORST employee. Turns out just because ur family doesn't mean everything is free. he was shocked and appalled. she fired him

Iwa- he was a bartender for a few years, and he always made sure girls in his bar were safe at all times. 100% would punch a guy in the face if he tried anything with them

Kunimi- this man thinks being alive is still a full-time job yall pls

Kuroo- worked the front desk at a fancy restaurant and used his charm to manipulate people into buying more stuff and subscribing to deals and memberships. It worked EVERY time

Kenma- he didn’t get a job but he sells shit on depop sometimes lmao

Lev- got a job in a call centre for like a week and then got fired when his boss realized he just hung up on people when they were rude/ when they asked to speak to his manager. He also NEVER did his job right and got distracted while on the phone to customers?? would fr end up talking about harry styles and everything like lev please

Bokuto- sports shop employee that has SO MUCH ENERGY AT 7AM. He’s always asking if someone needs help and complimenting little kids when they buy something his manager loves him

Akaashi- bookstore employee that every indie customer falls in love with. He’s tall, he wears glasses, he’s polite, he’s quiet. They’re in heaven smh, but he's really just constantly exhausted and relies on books and coffee to keep him stable lmao

Konoha- this man has had 18 different jobs, and cant last more than 3 months in each of them he’s a NIGHTMARE

Ushijima- he's rich he didn't need a job

Tendou- he worked as festival staff and he misses it every single day of his life. He had nonstop parties every week during summer and made so many friends :((

Goshiki- the most nervous barista you have ever met in your life. Takes sm care with every drink and still manages to fuck most of them up smh. Cried a lot in the back room.

Semi- small record store employee who sits behind the counter and tunes his guitar all day. Yes, he will talk to you about your music taste and yes, you will have a crush on him because he is GORGEOUS

Kita- the kind corner shop worker that knew everyone in his town and asked about their day and everything smh he was so good. Never received a complaint

Atsumu- gets a job as a personal trainer for his local gym, but he only did it to brag about himself lmao. Also unnecessarily snarky. Got a lot of his pent up anger out but definitely got fired for his attitude

Osamu- worked at KFC for a month to get free food but quit because he ate too much of it and actually felt sick when he saw popcorn chicken

Suna- he got discounts on food from kita’s corner shop, so he would buy as much as he could and then sell it all in school for double the price smh

Futakuchi- clothes shop employee who had an attitude when you asked him where anything was. He only worked there to give his life purpose and direction but hated every second of it

Aone- babysitter for literally all of his mom's friends. All the kids in his neighborhood know and love him because he was so kind and sweet to them all

Koganegawa- toy shop employee who got fired for playing with the toys and never actually doing work

terushima - another sports shop employee- only he was fucking terrifying. Definitely fuckboy energy and he was so in-your-face about everything. like 70% of the population hated him lmaoo

Kenma Kozume x F Reader

- Late night in Las Vegas for a convention, Kenma is a high roller with an excellent poker face

You never would have thought that Kenma’s streaming would take you to Las Vegas for a convention but here you are. Dressed to the nines on his arm as you wander through the enormous hotel.

As Kenma stops to take a call, you stare longingly into the windows of the luxury retailers as people walk past dressed from streetwear to evening gowns. While you don't think you could ever afford anything from those stores you know all too well that when people hit it big they like to ride out their high buying something that normally they would never buy for themselves. All the while the mantra of “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas,” plays through their heads as they swipe the card.

Suddenly, you feel Kenma’s grip on your hand as he leads you away from the windows and out to the floor. Where there are slot machines from wall to wall. Normally, he doesn't like being around all the people but since it's basically a giant arcade he doesn't mind. Seeing all the buttons and screens makes him feel right at home. Walking through the rows of machines he comes across a row of card tables and can’t help but be drawn in like a siren's song.

“ Ken, you should go play.” You say giving him a little squeeze, His golden eyes seem to sparkle.

“Are you sure? We can go play something else together,” he asks, trying to look impartial but is unable to actually pull it off.

“Yes, go play, I can meet up with you in a bit,” you say as he slips you a small wad of cash and leaves before you can object.

Using your boyfriend's charitable donation to your gambling fund, you decide to find yourself a fun-looking slot machine. Wanting to make the money last as long as you can, you choose to place the minimum bet and enjoy the bonus spins and random cash triggers that appear on your screen.

After a while, you realize that you ended up doubling the money you started with, which is way better than your initial goal of breaking even so you choose to cash out so that you are only playing on the house's money and not your own. Hitting the floor again you try to find another machine to play on. You settle on one in a more secluded area of the casino. Right off the bat, you hit a bonus as little coins and happy dings lead you to an interactive cutscene. You are having so much fun you don't realize that someone is watching you play from behind until they clear their throat.

Turning around you see a lone man in a stained white t-shirt, his fingers are curled around a cigar and he is just staring at you blankly. “Can I help you with something sir?” you ask tensing up protectively as he sways closer to you.

“Hey there gorgeous, how about you turn in the little ticket you have there and join a winner like me in my room,”

“No thank you,” you say, sending him a glare of painful neutrality as you do your best to ignore him. Waiting for your cutscene to end so you can leave with your earnings and find your boyfriend in a more populated corner of the casino.

You feel his gaze on the back of your head as you cash out. Before he can say anything else to you you stand and walk briskly away, losing him amongst the crowds and pillars hoping that security will take care of him if he makes a scene elsewhere.

After taking a long way back you finally find Kenma back at the table he went off to and you can hardly believe your eyes. He has a mountain of poker chips at his side, you thought you were doing well today but he has most likely made enough to cover the cost of the whole trip and then some.

Sliding next to him you give his shoulder a squeeze, ``Wow Ken, you must be doing really well.” you say as he gives you a small smile before returning his attention back to his cards.

When he chooses to play the plays aggressively noticing the tells of everyone at the table and takes advantage of their weaknesses. Like when he was playing Volleyball, he is able to throw his opponents off with a single glance.

It’s ridiculous how good he is at games like this. A guy from across the table is trying to bait him into making a hasty move but he is proving to be unshakable. But that is what is to be expected of Kenma Kozume; a professional gamer, and CEO of a startup company.

“Hey buddy, you don't look too sure about this one. You should let the big boys play this one” the man says condescendingly as he slides a fair amount of his chips into the center. Unmoved by this lackluster performance Kenma moves his cat-like gaze to start directly in the man's soul and says “You're bluffing,” Before shoving his whole mountain of chips in the center.

“I'm all in,” he says seriously. As the dealer stares at him wide-eyed.

You’re kinda freaking out beside him because you didn't see his cards, even if you did you wouldn't know what was a good hand and what would be a bad one. You tighten your grip on his arm as the people around him fold.

As he reveals his hand, the man across the table swears at the Royal FLush your boyfriend just played as the chips are returned to him.

Once all his earnings are gathered he takes his pile of brown poker chips and leads you to where you can cash them in. Once you see the amount handed to him in cash you know for sure he made a lot of money.

“You really are Amazing Ken Ken,” you say as he flushes a bit at the attention. You pass the creep from earlier and hold on to him tighter moving your gaze to the floor.

He notices you upset and hurries up waiting till you are in the confines of the glass elevator before asking you.

You take the whole ride back up to your suite to explain what happened earlier and by the time you are done Kenma is staring daggers at the people below as if he could see the creep from the 51st floor. “I’m sorry he was bothering you, Let me make it up to you,'' he says, leading you back to the room.

As you enjoy the amazing suite bathroom amenities Kenma goes and orders desserts from hotel room service. Once it arrives you sit on the king-sized bed in your complimentary bathrobes and enjoy apple pie alamode and molten lava cakes while watching your favorite movies.

“Ken, did you have a good time today?” you ask him as you wipe a bit of ice cream off his cheek.

I did, I think I’m pretty good at poker he smiles “We should check out the other hotels tomorrow before the convention”

“Mmm we should,” you say leaning over to lazily kiss him as you struggle to keep your eyes open amidst the oncoming dessert coma. He pulls you into his side making sure to move the empty plates over to the nightstand for housekeeping to take care of tomorrow.

“How about we take you to some of those stores and get you some of those clothes you were looking at earlier,” he says softly as you give a sleepy smile, happy to be here with him.

anon: so i’m obsessed with ur pregnant!reader hcs and i was wondering if i could get one for Oikawa or kenma?

a/n: god i love both of them but the thought of kenma as a dad really won it for me

oooooh boy i missed writing these hc's and ofc i'll start with how you guys met <3

you and kenma were neighbors in the same apartment, in fact he moved into the unit across yours (this was before he became really rich btw)

ofc you took notice that he rarely ever leaves his apartment and whenever you see him downstairs or checking his mail he's always tired

it did make you a bit worried so you decided to be the nice neighbor and bring over some cookies that you baked to his apartment

poor guy has been living on convenience store food for weeks and gone delirious from that #gamersleepschedule that the moment he saw the cookies he just stuffed two of them in his mouth before realizing you were standing there holding the plate

*cue coughing and almost choking and kenma being embarrassed about the whole situation that he tries to hide from you for about a week*

finally he musters up the courage to thank you for the cookies by buying strawberry apollo candies with a little note on them

the two of you have some conversations every now and then when you see each other in the lobby or at the door and kenma doesn't mind talking a bit longer than thirty minutes around you

eventually you start inviting him over to your place whenever kenma wants a home-cooked meal and the two of you become really good friends

of course it develops to something a bit more and kenma knows that he feels something stronger for you but he has no idea how to go forward with it

he probably needs some help from kuroo who ofc steps in to help his bestie out

i think kenma would probs ask you out by putting a box of (you guessed it) strawberry apollo candy in your mailbox with a 'would you consider going on a date with me?' sticky note attached to it

your dates when you are together are mostly of you hanging out at home and watching movies together. he's definitely someone you can pull into baking with you if it means he gets to eat something sweet after

since you guys already live across from each other, the 'moving in' never officially happened. the two of you tend to sleep over at your apartment more with kenma's apartment as both your workspace

i don't think he's the type to think of marriage as a really big thing but if you wanted to he'd be alright with it

okay but when he starts gaining more popularity (and money) the two of you officially move into together and you bring up the idea of maybe raising a kid

when you mention it to kenma at first he's like 'you mean... in Sims?'

please you have to spell it out for him

he needs some time to think about it and even though he doesn't know how confident he'll be as a father, kenma knows that he would love to have a child with you

outwardly, it doesn't quite *seem* that kenma is emotionally invested in your pregnancy and having a child with you but you notice him switching up his streaming and video editing schedule to be able to take care of you

he's awake during the early to late hours in the morning and fully expects and attends to your morning sickness

sometimes you're not sure if he's staying awake on purpose or he just happened to be

kenma also happens to be surprisingly VERY invested in decorating your nursery

after all, he's the one who designed and created his gaming/streaming room

okay but he gets so frustrated building the crib. like, he built his own PC himself how tf did he get the screws wrong making a CRIB??

you walk into the nursery and see LED lights along the walls and wrapped around the crib and you're like 'uhh, kenma what's this?' and he shrugs and says 'looks cool'

kenma also noticed you had a thing for wearing his hoodies (and tbh so does he), even more so in the earlier months of your pregnancy

world cold and hard, kenma's hoodie warm and soft

but they started not fitting on you with your belly growing larger but kenma didn't want you to feel bad so he started buying hoodies in larger sizes

against his will, kenma's former teammates throw a baby shower for the two of you in his house

omg imagine the baby shower gifts you'd receive from kuroo, yaku, and lev

actually they try to top each other's presents and you have to stop them at one point because 1. what would your baby do with a gucci pacifier and 2. does gucci even make pacifiers??

lev bought a giant teddy bear that you can't even get through the front door and kenma decided enoughs enough and sent them all home (he also just wants you for himself)

kenma's fans are often quite invested in your pregnancy and kodzuken as a father to be

sometimes they drop question in his chat when he's doing livestreams and kenma loves answering them

someone from chat: mr. kodzuken, would u defeat lady dimitrescu and all the other bosses in resident evil to save your child?

kenma: i don't think i'm capable but my girlfriend sure is

wouldn't it be funny though if you went into labor right during one of kenma's livestreams

you have to message or call his phone cause you're in your room and he can't hear you calling when he has his headphones on

but as soon as he sees your message he's just like 'guys i have to go baby's coming' and drops the stream even when he's still in the middle of fighting a boss

twitter is just going crazy with the #dad!kodzuken tags while kenma is calling his driver to take you guys to the hospital

you guys are in the backseat and you're squeezing his hand as you suffer through the first contraction and kenma is trying very hard not to freak out for both of your sakes

don't worry though kenma probably paid for the best doctors to take care of you also the VIP room in the hospital which is basically a hotel at this point

i feel like he would want to be there in the delivery room with you just to give support but when he sees the actual baby delivery he's fainting

a few of the nurses kinda know kodzuken and find it kinda funny to see kenma sprawled on the floor but they do take care of him

he wakes up hours later in your hospital room and then sees the baby in your arms and his brain just short-circuits for a good minute until you realize he's awake

the soft smile on your face when you say "would you like to hold them?" has kenma in love with you all over again

he's too scared to hold your baby yet but when they hold his finger with their tiny hand kenma just chuckles at them

he'll definitely treasure the both of you

Please this ball of sunshine's never been excited to go to a furniture shop

He likes it because he loves picking up mysterious tools.

GURLLL, THE MOMMENT YOU STEPPED IN IKEA HE GOT LOST😭

You got so nervous coz you can't find your boyfriend in the sea of people.

That is until the speakers blared out, saying:

"L/N Y/N, please come to the office, your child has been found,"

And you were like: wait I have a child???👀👄👀

But then you figured it's probably Hinata

So you went in the office to see Hinata pretending to crying his eyes out

And then when he looked up, he said to the staff:

"yeah. . . That's my mom,"

You:👁️👄👁️

Employees:👁️ᴗ👁️

Hinata: 👁️〰️👁️

After that, you made sure Hinata doesn't leave your sight.

He sat in that cart where your supposed to hang the yellow ikea bag.

Hinata likes to point to things you don't need and tries to convince you to buy them.

"Y/N. . . Please! Look it's so cool, you just have to spin this and then your pencil would be sharpened!"

"Ooooooh! Y/N we need to get that folding table!"

"WOW! Y/N, Y/N, babe! Look at that sofa that can turn into a bed, let's have one!"

But ofcourse you didn't buy them🙅

After buying things you need, you went to the Ikea food court to have lunch.

This baby likes the kiddie meal where you are given a colored plate filled with nuggets and french fries.

Please, Kuroo and Bokuto had a huge influence on him since they also like kiddie meals.💀

He also likes the Ikea meatballs<3

But then after that, he convinced you to let him go to the Ikea Kid playground.

Since he's a small baby, the Ikea staff let him in😭😭😭

(pretend there's no height limit)

Your watched through the window outside as he played.

He settled in the pool of plastic balls playing with other kids.

And then he went up climbing the big dust pan with those ropes and surrounded by plastic balls😖

He watched cartoons with other kids❤️

But then he immediately went out because he made a kid cry by accidentally cursing at them💀

Hinata may be a fluff ball but sometimes Tsukishima is a bad influence for him 🤦🏻‍♀️

When you wanted to show him something and ask if it's nice, he would nod and just be like: ಠ_ಠ

Seriously, when you show him a kitchen knife, he would nod and say:

"It's nice you should buy it,"💀

When you show him a useless kitchen tool, he would nod and say to buy it.

He doesn't know how to shop😭

Buuuuut when it comes or the bedroom area, he would sit on it and lay down.

Kageyama would drag you on the bed and make you lay down beside him, not caring if people gave you weird looks❤️

He keeps on insisting to get a new matress because the one he's laying on is soft.

And then he mentioned how you need to buy a new bedframe because the both of you broke the ones in the house.😃

BECAUSE YOU WERE JUMPING ON THE BED SEEING WHO CAN JUMP THE HIGHEST.

He was bored whenever you stop by to check something out

So he stands behind you like🕴️

And one time he accidentally made a kid cry😭

He just tried to make the baby laugh with "funny faces"

But then he ended up making them cry¯\_( ˘_˘)_/¯

You know that part of Ikea where there are really tall shelves with full of boxes?? Yeah that one

It's so adorable how he looks up at them with his chin up in the air like how a child would look up on an airplane 😖❤️

Oh yeah and he insists on buying those cute tent playhouse 🎪. 😃

He even begs on his knees for you to accept to buy it.

When you stopped to eat, he wants to push the food cart for you, he find it exciting to out on the trays of the cart😣

he always go back to the line to get another carton of milk

He came back 3 times, back and forth just to buy another milk🤦🏻‍♀️

Kageyama likes the yogurt that Ikea sells, he likes the strawberries and berries decorated on top of it.

He doesn't have his own plate of food, he wants to share with you✌️

Sakusa

He doesn't want to go

But reader-senpai is so stubborn so you insist

He didn't want to go so you finally gave up, leaving him in your shared apartment.

But then at the last minute, he said he wanna come.

Yoomi-bby doesn't want people to touch you or even ask for your number.

What's his is only his so no SHARING 😤

He always scolds you on stop picking up things on everything you see.

So every time you drop the item, he sprays your hands with alcohol

Coz he doesn't want his baby to be sick😪

But when the both of you reached the bathroom/toilet models, he literally switched.

He finds them interesting😃

Like how the bathroom models are beautifully designed.

He finds it funny when the inside of the toilet is covered with plastic, so no one would really poop or pee in it

He laughs so cute 😖❤️

He laughs for straight 2 minutes and you don't really care, he's just adorable.

Please he collects Ikea pencils 😭

He takes more when he saw another Ikea pencil and ruler stall.

And then take some random paper and draws on it out of boredom.

He drew you😞

It wasn't the best but it's cute how he tries hard.

Kiyoomi also find the chair sections interesting.

He likes the rocking chairs and said that he would get one

How could you say no?❤️

He payed for it easily and it would be delivered in the apartment this night.

💸RICH BOI 💸

When you are in the rugs and mats section, he likes touching the furry ones

"Look Y/N! it's really soft. . . Touch it,"

But then he told you to leave the area immediately because it smells weird👁️👄👁️

It came from those leather and those cow skin looking matts💀

When lunch rolls by, he likes to watch kids playing in the playground 😣

He eats fancy so don't be surprised if you see him use knife and fork so expertly and eat steak with some sauce.

He gets so excited when going home because he can finally set up the rocking chair 💀

Oikawa

He loves shopping!

I can sense it, he radiates the vibes, you can't change my mind.

He picks up everything he sees and put in the cart.

And you have to get those things from the cart and put it back because you don't need them💀

He whines about how he needs all of them

And you have to remind him that they would just stay in the storage room like how the other things ended up he brought last time.

But nuh-uh

🎶He sees it, he likes it, he want it, he got it🎶

"Y/N-chan, I'll buy it with my own money! You don't have to worry about it!"

You know what are the things he buys?

A whole chandelier, an emergency lamp that charges by spinning the ledge, a WHOLE cabinet, some kitchen utensils–he doesn't cook💀 and some more things. . .😐

He actually bought the whole Ikea 😭

But then he came up to you and ask if you can buy him those dog stuff toys.

He pouted for it.

You gave in and bought two stuff toys for you and him❤️

And then you remembered why he asked you to buy it for him when he had no problem to pay the expensive things he wanted.🙄

"So that it would be special, Y/N, look it came from you!"

He likes the candle section.

He specifically likes the scented ones.🕯️

Oikawa keeps picking them up and smelling them😭

He ended up adding to cart once again🤦

He made a delivery truck deliver all the things he bought to your house.

Ofcourse he would, he 💸rich💸

After that you both ate

And he just had to insist on you feeding him because he wanted to make the lonely teen across him jealous 😭😭😭 slskskjfgh

He likes the bread bowls

No he doesn't put soup in them

He just likes the bread.

You don't have to go back to Ikea for a whole year because you remembered Oikawa bought the whole store.

Ushijima

He just follows you everywhere, stoic and not saying anything 😐

When you stop to check on something he'll be like🕴️behind you

He also picks up some things that interests him😖

And if her finds something weird, he'll pick it up also and try to find out how to use it

But he ends up breaking it, so he quickly put it back and walk back to you😭

He holds your hand and look around as if he's a lost puppy ❤️

Waka-waka takes those paper rulers and roll them into a tight roll💀 please I do that everytime

He also collects those Ikea brochures and still takes another one even though you have a lot at home 😃

You know those yellow banners that hung from the ceiling with the prizes labeled on it??

Like kenma from part 1, he jumps and hits it with his fingertips aww

He's a huge baby🤭

Until he breaks it and made it fall on the floor💀

The both of you quickly run away before a staff scolds you both

Everytime other time, out of the blue, he would hug you, telling how much you mean to him😢

You know those fake windows in house models where it's actually just wallpapers lightened up from underneath??

He thrash talked about who taught about it because it didn't look too realistic 💀

He likes the kitchen section because the kitchen tools amazes him nd he cooks in the house,sooo¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ushijima points at the things he find interesting and talk about them to you

"hey. . .Y/N. . . That thing is so cool, it can turn into a bed from a sofa. . ."

ANDDDD

He also likes the outdoor/garden section.❤️

He has his mini garden and he plants succulents😩

So he puts soils and other plant materials he needed for planting like pots and shovels.

He buys you plastic flowers too💀

It's not real but hey! At least it came from someone you really really love😏

He buys you unnecessarily a lot of those too😃

kenma knew how you missed going on arcade dates with him

he's fine with the idea of staying at home to stay safe but thinks it also kind of sucks because of you

you don't mind being stuck with kenma inside your home

but you really just miss how you two go out on dates and travel anywhere without a worry of catching a virus

especially going at the arcade where you and your boyfriend get a lot of prizes and have lots of fun

so yea,,, its killing you not being able to go outside

Oooh could you do a kenma sickfic?So on some day the Nekoma VBC had a training match quite far away. So kenma is sick and he forces himself to go to that traing match but he couldnt? Even walking was hard for him at that state, he was nauseous , dizzy his stomach and head hurts like crazy. He did think if going to school. So he got dressed and skipped breakfast because he was too scared if it went up. While he was walking to school his stomach was growling and a coughing fit was coming... time skip because yes and I dont want to be too detailed because you wouldnt have your own ideas :)! So he didnt go to the volleyball practice match because he couldnt handle the pain, he did go on the bus but went off before the bus even moved because of vomiting or because he was in a lot of pain ? I hope kuroo doesn't run to him and takes care of him because that's like all the fics I read lol, Anyway ! Hope you are doing great!!! Remember to take breaks, drink water !! Bye :D

Timing should be his thing, Kenma thinks. He’s always thought that, as a setter, having good timing is fundamental. He’s always taken it for granted, even.

But life must like to prove him wrong. At the worst times, too.

The young athlete is fairly sure that nobody would bite his head off for skipping the training match, and that his parents won’t be mad for the money that would go to waste, were he to stay at home instead.

The training match is going to be held in another cityー why would anyone willingly leave Tōkyō, anyway?ー so coach Nekomata and coach Naoi had to make arrangements to find the team a place to sleep for the night, since going back and forth in one single day would have been far too exhausting for everyone.

And Kenma’s known about this match for months. He was almost somewhat thrilled to play, until this morning.

He places a hand over his stomach, gingerly. He’s been sitting on his bed for an hour straight, trying to will his body to move and get up already. But something hurts, and Kenma’s not so sure that he’s going to be able to get up and even only make it to the bathroom without puking or passing out from the pain. Or both.

He rapidly tries to recall what he has eaten in the past twelve hours, but nothing seemed unusual, nothing smelled off, nothing tasted odd. He can’t think of one single thing that might have made him feel like death warmed over.

Kenma’s guts twist, a low growl erupts from his stomach, and he’s one-hundred percent sure that his hand, still resting on his belly, actually moves when his insides do.

A quick glance at the alarm clock on his bedside table makes him snap back to reality, abruptly so.

Shit…!

He only has fifteen, maybe twenty minutes before he has to leave. His bag is packed, his uniform is on his desk’s chair, ready to be put on, but he’s yet to have a shower today, and he should probably attempt to eat a little something. While he doesn’t normally get carsick, he’s always wary before matches. Important ones, especially.

Kenma rapidly gets up, regretting the action as vertigo almost makes him topple over, right on top of his brand-new computer screen. He catches his footing and barely avoids the disaster on time, but it takes him more than he’d like to admit to catch his breath. His eyes are squeezed shut, one hand gripping at the cushion of his gaming chair for dear life as he prays for the world to stop spinning.

It does, eventually.

There’s only so much time for the setter to brush his teeth, put his uniform on and leave in a hurry. He gags a few times, like when the toothbrush touches his tongue, or when he bends down to put his shoes on and his stomach contents threaten to spill at his feet. His mother shouts at him from the kitchenー right, she’s staying at home todayー to at least grab a snack with his bentō, but he doesn’t, waving his hand lazily as he quickly excuses himself.

He’s not sure how he makes it to the bus in time, but he does. By the time Kenma arrives in front of the school gate, where most of his teammates are chatting cheerfully, he’s convinced that he’s definitely going to tell the coaches he’s not coming, and walk back home.

If only walking wasn’t so painful to him, in this state.

Beads of cold sweat run down his forehead, and he blesses the face mask he’s wearing for hiding his agape mouth, panting and gasping after walking at a pathetically-slow pace for only a few minutesー his house isn’t that far from Nekoma High, at least.

“Hey, Kenma’s here! And before the bastard, too, so someone owes me 1’000 yen!” Yaku chuckles, and Yamamoto hands him some money, practically throwing it at him, an annoyed look on his brooding face.

Everyone laughs, coach Naoi’s voice unheard over the sound of teenagers messing around.

Kenma doesn’t even have the strength to roll his eyes or smile. His teammates greet him, and while he’s been getting better at physical contact, he wishes that they would stop touching him so much now. He feels gross, sweaty and shaky, hot, and the hands that pry and punch lightly are a much more significant threat to his dignity than they believe.

One wrong push and he’s going to burst, Kenma just knows that.

He smiles, forcedly, and prays for the agony to end soon.

The bus ride is worse than he’d thought it’d be. The traffic is a nightmare, and they’re forced to stop not once, but twice, because Inuoka’s feeling ill due to his hellish motion sickness.

Kenma forces himself to look away, buried in his jersey as he sits in the very back of the bus, music in his ears to distract himself from the growing sensation of discomfort in his lower abdomen. Kuroo’s insistent as ever, and Fukunaga’s peak entertainment makes everyone but Kenma laugh uncontrollably for the whole duration of the bus ride.

It lasts six hours, give or take.

The pain doesn’t abate. Kenma doesn’t manage to fall asleep, not once.

- - -

“Okay, let’s start warming up!” coach Nekomata says, with a broad smile on his face, “Ten laps, and be sure to alternate between left and right arm’s rotations, nice and slow. Do your best, Nekoma!”

The cheer that erupts from the team almost knocks Kenma off his feet. He can’t take it anymore, he just can’t, and now that he’s so far from home, from his warm bed, from his comfort itemsーof course he’s forgotten his console at home, of course he didー he feels like he might start crying and stomping his feet at any moment.

And he almost does when, after the second or third lap, burning bile tickles the back of his throat and goosebumps coat his skin as his stomach rolls.

He blinks once, twice, eyes glassy and unfocused, vision blurry, greying around the edges. Panic seizes at his already-upset guts, and his legs shake when he rapidly makes his way back to the benches, basically dropping next to them. He grabs his water bottleー he hopes it’s his, he can’t see well, he’s not too sureー and unscrews the cap, not without any difficulty.

His hands shake, he’s jittery and feels so, so cold. Logically, Kenma’s aware that the gym is warm, and that he’s been moving enough for his body to warm up a little, at least, but he can’t ignore how shivers run down his spine.

“...nma-kun, are you okay? You look awfully pale.” someone asks.

He looks up, the whole world blurring in and out of focus in rapid succession when he raises his head to meet coach Naoi’sー confused? Angry? Annoyed?ー expression. The boy doesn’t even reply, question already forgotten.

Instead, he gets up on buckling knees and makes a run for… somewhere. Frankly, Kenma doesn’t really know where he’s going, and he doesn’t care. He needs air, he needs to sit down, he needs toー

He falls down, palms flat on the floor as he spills his gut, retching loudly onto what he believes is the asphalt of the parking lot, judging by the newfound ache in his hands, bleeding slightly.

He vomits again, the second bout even more violent and vile than the first one, making acid spill from his nose and trickle down his chin, the smell acrid and nauseating, of something rotting. His eyes sting, and not only because of the foul scent, no. Fat tears stream down his face, and he pukes again, for the third time, the ache in his guts not dissipating one bit.

He cries, blubbering and sputtering. Catching his breath seems impossible, his breath is far too ragged and shallow to provide any consistent oxygen intake at this point.

Somewhere along the way he must have dropped his bottle, because when he blindly fishes for it at his sides, he doesn’t find it. That makes him cry even harder, snot and tears staining his face alongside chunks of vomit and acidic bile that burns his throat.

In the distance, he believes he hears someone’s voice.

But when the siren of sleep calls his name, inexorable and tempting, Kenma lets his eyelids drop, and collapses to the ground, blissfully asleep.

➜ at the age of 7, your daughter was already picked to represent her class on a science fair AND YOU BET TETSUROU IS SO PROUD OF HIS DAUGHTER

➜ would be such a supportive dad

➜ visits tamaki and taiga's volleyball games ─ like atleast all over them, and would bring along his old teammates to it maybe just to relive old memories because you BET that they're attending nekoma

➜ would always have these little traditions and inside jokes with them and you
