No Labels Isn't What It Claims to Be
The “No Labels” Party is not what it pretends to be. It’s a front group for Donald Trump.
Now I understand, if you’re sick of the two major parties, you might be intrigued by a party that claims to be a “common sense” alternative that finds the middle ground.
But if you or anyone in your life is planning to vote for No Labels — or any third party — in 2024, please watch and share this video first.
Here are three things you need to know.
First, No Labels is a dark money group with secret far-right donors. Investigative reporting has revealed that they include many of the same Republican donors who have pumped huge sums of money into electing candidates like Trump and Ron DeSantis. They also include the rightwing billionaire Harlan Crow, who spent years secretly treating Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas to a lifestyle of the rich and famous.
If the No Labels Party is backed by Trump donors, in an election where Trump is on the ballot, there’s actually a label we should give to “No Labels.” Clearly, they’re a pro-Trump group.
Second, the premise No Labels is based on — that Donald Trump and President Biden are at equally extreme ends of the political spectrum — is preposterous.
Trump has been impeached twice, found by a jury to have committed sexual assault, is facing 91 criminal charges in four separate cases — two of them in connection with an attempt to effectively end American democracy.
There is no “equally extreme” candidate as Trump!
Finally, the structure of the Electoral College means that as a practical matter, a third party only draws votes away from whichever major party candidate is closest to it. No third party candidate has ever won a presidential election.
And in this particular election, when one of the major parties is putting up a candidate who threatens democracy itself, we cannot take the risk.
Donald Trump has already tried to overturn one election and suggested suspending the Constitution to maintain power. It is no exaggeration to say that if he takes the White House again, there may not ever be another free and fair election.
Democracy won by a whisker in the last presidential election. Just 44,000 votes in Arizona, Georgia, and Wisconsin — less than one tenth of 1 percent of the total votes cast nationwide — were the difference between the Biden presidency and a tie in the Electoral College that would have thrown the election to the House of Representatives, and hence to Trump.
If candidates from No Labels— or any other third party, like the Green Party or the Libertarian Party —  peel off just a fraction of the anti-Trump vote from Biden, while Trump voters stay loyal to him, Trump could win the top five swing states comfortably and return to the Oval Office. And No Labels’ own polling shows they would do just that!
Let me be absolutely clear. Third-party groups like No Labels are in effect front groups for Trump in 2024, and should be treated as such.
The supposed “centrism” No Labels touts is nonsense. There is no middle ground between democracy and fascism.
Please share this video and spread the word.

Love is Love, at The End of The Day — Mary-Beth x fem! reader
Tumblr media
summary: Reader confesses the fact they like women, and that the woman she likes was Mary-Beth.
t/w: typical time period homophobia (not too bad, it's internalized mainly (which is still bad but like...no one is hating on gays, just battling the fact that they weren't accepted at the time)). Mentioned misogyny (Time period typical.)
a/n: My first wlw fic. I hope I did this justice. I love Mary-Beth sm <3
w/c: 1.2k
Master List
Tumblr media
A warm breeze brushed by rustling leaves. The chatter of people in camp left was soothing. I took in a deep breath of fresh air, closing my eyes and taking in the warmth of the sun. After being in a snowstorm, it makes you appreciate the nice weather a bit more. The sound of footsteps put me on alert, but I relaxed once more when I noticed it was only Mary-Beth. I smiled at her as she took a seat next to me.
“Hello,” I greeted her as she leaned against the log with me.
“I thought you could use some company,” She replied, looking down at the book she held in her lap.
“Your company’s always appreciated,” I replied, trying not to blatantly stare.
I’ve been sweet on Mary-Beth for some time now. I can’t remember when it started, just that one day, I realized my feelings were a bit more than friendly. I’ve kept it to myself though, since a woman being sweet on another woman wasn’t appropriate. In fact, it was seen as preposterous. Besides, I don’t think Mary-Beth would ever feel the same way. So I kept my feelings to myself, admiring her from afar.
“How was bounty huntin’?” She asked, her green eyes sparkling in the sunlight.
“Same old, same old,” I sighed out, my eyes drifting out to a blue jay that was resting in a tree. “Men not taking me seriously, tryin’ not to pay me for my work, the usual.”
“I’m sorry to hear that, honey,” She said sympathetically. I tried to ignore the fluttering in my chest at the pet name.
My gaze drifted back to Mary-Beth, and softly hummed in acknowledgment. I felt myself flush slightly when I realized we were staring at each other longer than acceptable for friends to. We both looked away. I forced myself not to look as I felt Mary-Beth scoot closer to me, taking deep breaths to keep myself calm. I heard her open her book, and I couldn’t help but take a glance as her focus left me.
She was so pretty and kind. I loved spending time with her, it was just so easy to tell her how I was feeling. To listen to her talk about the most recent book she’s read, to just sit with each other and enjoy each other's company. All these emotions made me feel so sappy, it made me just want to lean over and kiss her cheek.
I let out a soft sigh and looked back out into the nature that surrounded us. All I could really think about was the warmth of Mary-Beth as she sat by me. I wanted to hold her hand, lay my head on her shoulder and play with her fingers. I was brought out of my daydream when Mary-Beth rested her head on my shoulder. I tried my hardest not to tense up, shifting a bit so she’d be more comfortable. My mind raced, not being used to this situation, but I tried to keep my expression calm.
“Is this okay?” She whispered. Our eyes met and I nodded shyly. She smiled sheepishly, glancing away. I felt this overwhelming bittersweet feeling. I just wanted to hold her, take care of her, love her, but even if she did like me back…it was best just not to think about it. Another breeze passed by, causing a strand of Mary’s hair falling into her face. Hesitantly, I lifted my hand up and brushed the hair out of her face. My face felt like it was melting, not exactly sure where the courage came from. And the fact that Mary-Beth seemed to be just as flustered as me didn’t help, but secretly admired the way her blush painted her cheeks.
“And what do you two think you’re doing?” The familiar voice of Karen rang out. We both jumped, completely absorbed in our own world. “Better not be gettin’ into any trouble.” I laughed awkwardly, while Mary-Beth let out a little huff.
“Now what kinda trouble would we even get into?” Mary-Beth asked with a pout.
“I donno, you tell me,” Karen laughed, walking past us with a wave. Mary-Beth and I looked at each other for a second before bursting out in laughter. That familiar fuzzy warmth consuming me. I looked off to the side, my smile fading slightly.
“Somethin on your mind,” She asked, moving her face into view.
I stared at her, debating internally if I should say something about how I feel or not, settling for something a bit more vague, “I think I’m sweet on someone…”
Mary-Beth clasped her hands and shuffled in front of me, but her smile didn’t seem to reach her eyes, “That’s amazin!”
Looking down at my hands, I bit my lip nervously, “Well…I’m not exactly meant to be sweet on them.”
“That’s so romantic,” She gasped. “Oh, please tell me who. Would you?”
“I really ain’t meant to like em,” I replied, looking up at her with fear. “I’m scared…that everyone would…that they would look down on me.”
Mary grasped my hand in hers and gave me a serious look, “We’re a family, honey. Whoever it is you like won’t change that. Besides, you can tell me anythin and I won’t say a peep.”
I looked down at our intertwined hands, tears slowly creeping up on me. I felt like crying. I wanted to tell her so badly, get it off my chest, but it was so scary. Would she still see me the same? Would she still be my friend? What if, what if, what if.
“Even if it’s another lady?” I whispered, not noticing the tears that started to fall. “I-I know it ain’t right, but…but…” I tried to push down the sob that was trying to escape, using my free hand to cover my face.
Mary-Beth pulled me into an embrace, and I buried my face into her blouse. Tears kept flowing down my face as she comforted me, running her hands through my hair.
“Wanna know a secret?” She whispered into my ear as she rubbed my back gently. I nodded, not wanting to speak. “I’m sweet on a lady too.”
I pulled away slightly, rubbing at my eyes to rid my tears, “Really?”
She nodded with a gentle smile, “Yeah, but I thought…I was the only one who’d feel such things.”
Our gaze met and I wanted to kiss her so badly, but for all I know, she meant another lady in the camp. I didn’t even notice that we were both leaning towards each other until our noses touched. My entire being felt like it was on fire, and for once I didn’t hold back. Our lips met, barely touching, testing the waters. Her lips were as plump and softer than I ever imagined. I was caught off guard when she kissed me more firmly, but it was still gentle and soft.
Once we pulled away, it’s like she took my breath with her. I opened my eyes slowly, savoring the moment. We stared at each other with clear affection, and she took my hand in hers once more, her blush going all the way up to her ears.
“The others won’t notice,” She murmured. “They’ll probably chalk it up to us bein’ good friends.”
“Well…” I trailed off, smirking slightly. “I suppose in a sense, we are.”
Mary-Beth huffed a small laugh while smacking my shoulder gently. All I could do was smile back at her, reveling in the fact that she shared my affections.

DC Legacy
The basic premise of this is that the time has come for older heroes to step down and the next generation take their place. Clark Kent is now the editor and owner of the Daily Planet and vows to lead them into the future while keeping their dedication to the truth. Diana Prince is now Queen of the Amazons and has relinquished her title as Wonder Woman though she still joins the Justice Society when needed. Bruce Wayne has become mayor of Gotham City and intends to use the power of the office to fight crime at the root. However the intensified spotlight means he must give up the cowl. Others such as Oliver Queen have stepped down from active duty to become teachers to the next generation, passing down their skills and knowledge. Moonlight rewatch for millionth time
Episode 2 random thoughts and feelings I had while rewatching again: cause I’m bored and have nothing else to do or watch. And I love this show
Mick: monsters don’t get happy ever after. Me: Stop saying you’re a monster! Stop it now
Tumblr media
I like Mick’s early 80’s look, it had a 1970ish vibe to it
I know Mick probably panicked but he should have just snapped Lee Jays neck before running off
I like how Beth’s like talk about my feelings? No I’d rather get to work bye lol same girl
I think I’ve said it before but I think Beth purposely picked out a 25 year old single malt to maybe catch Mick in a lie or maybe get some sort of reaction from him
I wish we got more Bobby scenes
My head canon is that Logan and Mick met over World or Warcraft and Mick beat Logan who then threatened Mick (think end game with Thor) and Mick was like oh okay I’m so scared then Logan hacked him and went to his place and was like oh shit my bad uh friends? When he realized Mick was also a vampire
I love him but Mick really needs to think things through before he acts
Ilene deserved better I’m glad she gets justice in the end
Lee Jay in fact did not understand
Mick says vampires don’t have a club house that they hang out at and yet we have this episode where we have vampires at a club that has freshies then several episodes later another club where they all play pool. So what’s the difference?
I never noticed this before but Mick had random lemons in his fridge
Tumblr media
There’s like four or five of them in there. It’s most likely for clients that come over but he also has green apples in there too.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lee Jay is the worst
Tumblr media
I like Josef’s casual style in the way that something about it still feels very expensive and true to Josef’s personality
I like how Beth is a ride or die when it comes to Mick. She’s only known him a week but she’s already willing to break the law and go against her boyfriend and friend to help prove his innocence
I wonder what happened to Julia after this episode, I’m sure she went to therapy for everything that happened but it’s just strange we never see her again especially when Josh died
Is it bad that when Mick is running and jumping on the rooftop that StarWars bad lip reading of Yoda singing “now run jump” etc etc was playing in my head? Lol
Where did Mick get that blood packet from and why didn’t he get help for the silver buckshots in his body? Did he just rob a blood bank ? Because I highly doubt Guillermo would let his friend go off on his own in such a vulnerable situation
I like how they didn’t drag out the vampire secret for very long. Sometimes I feel like when writers and directors drag things out like that for too long it becomes a bit stale once things are actually revealed

Alright, your turn! If YOUR OCs starred in a movie, who would you pick to play them?
(I know you have a ton of OCs, feel free to just do the ones you can come up with a good answer for - I struggled to pick people for this and I have like half the OCs you do lol)
Alright so some of these people aren't actors or anything but they're definitely who I imagine the characters looking like-
Siv: Romy Flores, 100%. She's got the face, the nose, the "don't give a fuck" attitude. All she'd really need is gray contact lenses and either a haircut or a short wig.
Tumblr media
Hailey: Lynk Lee isn't 100% perfect for Hailey, since Hailey has a more stocky, muscular build, but in the hypothetical movie, if she were to do some weight training, she could definitely do Hailey justice. Also, she'd need green/blue contacts for Hailey's post-death heterochromatic eyes.
Tumblr media
Jay: Cameron Russo is the closest I can get to how I imagine Jay looking, though I would hypothetically want to cast someone who was both transmasc and physically disabled, since Jay is both.
Tumblr media
Cassandra: Donye Taylor is absolutely perfect for Cassandra- though if she were to play the role, I'd prefer her hair in braids or natural curls.
Tumblr media
Arya: Cayley Spivey, 100%! This, but with elf ears and a shaggy mullet! (fun fact: Spivey was the fancast for Siv's original design)
Tumblr media
Esme: Ava Max is my current fancast for her. She's got the bleach blonde hair, the "party girl" vibe and the angular yet cutesy face.
Tumblr media
Gina: Lorna Baez would make a pretty good Gina, imo, though she's a little older than the actual Gina was when she died, what movie doesn't have a 20-something playing a teen?
Tumblr media
Ember: Marina Summers, a queen who starred in S1 of Drag Race Philippines, is absolutely perfect for Ember!
Tumblr media
Cat: Even though she doesn't necessarily look entirely like Cat, I've never been able to imagine anyone but Anna Cathcart as her. I think its just the vibes lol.
Tumblr media
Kyle: This random-ass hockey player from Minnesota, Ryan Johnson, has been my faceclaim for Kyle since I first created the character.
Tumblr media
Max: Heng Sokvisal makes a pretty good Max, just slap on a pair of glasses and we're good to go!
Tumblr media
Khalil: Shameik Moore makes the perfect Khalil imo. No comments, just vibes. (though since Khalil works as a makeup artist I'd definitely give him some gold eyeliner or something)
Tumblr media
Reggie: Winnie Harlow's pretty much perfect for Reggie, though she'd need blue contacts because Reggie has xer dad's eyes.
Tumblr media
Ameerah: Amandla Stenberg makes an absolutely amazing Ameerah, I'd definitely want her to have the light blonde hair like in the picture, and she'd need pink contacts to match Ameerah's description.
Tumblr media
Rania: Denise Bidot, 10000000%. She's been my faceclaim for her for like, FOREVER.
Tumblr media
Director Hawke: Julianne Moore, specifically in her "President Coin" look. Director Hawke was loosely based on President Coin, so I've always imagined her looking somewhat like her.
Tumblr media
Meredith: Rachel Zegler, but with glasses and lighter brown hair.
Tumblr media
Onnie: Same as Siv lol it's her multiversal variant
Jessi: Same as Esme, multiversal variant
Pippa: Veondre Mitchell is the perfect Pippa! She was actually the one who I initially based Pippa's appearance off of.
Tumblr media
Hyun-Ki: Park Sung-Hoon is a pretty good Hyun-Ki. From his dramatic looks to his honestly kinda gorgeous voice. I don't doubt he'd make a great Hyun-Ki
Tumblr media
Thalia: Teyonah Parris is Thalia, there's no doubt about it. Ever since I watched Wandavision and saw her as Monica Rambeau, I knew that she'd be perfect to play Thalia in her hypothetical movie.
Tumblr media
Reyna: K-Pop soloist AleXa is a pretty good fancast for her, though she'd need some pretty good SFX makeup or CGI due to Reyna being a near-human felid species.
Tumblr media
Athena: Alaqua Cox (AKA Echo from Hawkeye) is how I imagine Athena looks, but with a white streak in the front of her hair (and a lot more seductive of an aesthetic)
Tumblr media
Laila: Youtuber Beth Crowley is my faceclaim for Laila, though as Laila I'd want her to either don a short bob or a short wig, and amber contacts.
Tumblr media
Marie: Haruna Ono is a great faceclaim for Marie, though she'd need SFX makeup for Marie's Romulan features and her Borg implants.
Tumblr media
Qiara: Due to Qiara's nature as a being of pure energy, she doesn't necessarily take the same form at all times. However, the one she frequents the most could very well be portrayed by Chiquis Rivera.
Tumblr media
Liah: Raquel Rodriguez would make a great Liah, she has the right height and build for her, she would just need SFX makeup for Liah's Cardassian features, and hazel contacts.
Tumblr media
Samira: Desiree Akhavan would make a pretty good Samira. She definitely fits how I imagine Samira to look, and she's got the right vibe to play her as well.
Tumblr media
Sohelia: Golshifteh Farahani is a pretty good faceclaim for Sohelia, though she'd need some light makeup to make her skin more ashy, due to Sohelia being half-vampire.
Tumblr media
Vanessa: Skater Erin Jackson is absolutely perfect for Vanessa, though for most of the movie she'd be replaced with either a puppet or CGI double for her monster form.
Tumblr media
Dolores: Diane Guerrero is perfect for Dolores. She'd just need some minor makeup in order to look more like a vampire, i.e. ashy skin, red eyes, fangs, etc.
Tumblr media
I don't have faceclaims for Eric, Jacob, Antonio, Cory, Soraya, Aldrich, Matt, or Victorie yet.
