DEVASTATED. bunch of my tags on that texty post got cut off . meaning it doesnt have ALL of what i said

#not gonna adjust it bc it works as is #and tbh . maybe for the better #look . ik the 'i love being a hater' stuff is more common now and i think its GOOD ppl are allowing themselves to dislike stuff #bc thats good!!! self expression is GOOD #but i myself dont wanna do that Personally!#just not my style of things #but id be lying if i said there. ARENT things i go -_- at #and i didnt get fully into that in those tags! just briefly alluded #but also the idea of pissing off more. strict osc members is daunting #i DO have more Stubborn and Angry ideas but those are ONLY unveiled in private #or when i dont think itll possibly piss people off #mostly bc of like. subjectivity and personal stuff! not many peoples business yknow :)#and also i generally just try to curate an environment thatll make people MORE happy #or if itll be upsetting its bc its artistic . you know how it is #im getting off track. hopefully this post makes sense!#(also i CAN tell what the tags were originally abt if asked if so desired but otherwise.#it stays between me and my friends who are kind and listen to me ramble :D)

I can't keep being fundamentally changed as a person by animated movies, it's just not sustainable.

#animation #animated film #animated movies #across the spiderverse #across the spider-verse #spiderverse #puss in boots #puss in boots the last wish #puss in boots 2 #nimona #nimona film #yes i'm posting this specifically because i just watched nimona and am feeling all kinds of things but really these are all PEAK TIER #the fact they have ALL been released within 7 months of each other...like...woah we are thriving right now #stylised animation with its own unique style reflecting the movie i love you forever kissing you on the mouth #films that make me ferally rip up any and all art blocks to shreds #and that's just the animation side of things #i won't get started on the plots. they also make me want to bounce off of walls #hugging all these close to my chest #as well as all the other great animated movies that exist because animation wins all catergories for me always #(let's not forget anime movies either; y'all are beautiful too! keeping 2d animation alive and i'm so here for it)

One of my favorite trope for Steddie is Steve hunting down Eddie when the kids join Hellfire and giving him a long list of dos and donts.

At first Eddie thinks he’s just being a prick, and worried he’s going to turn the nerds into freaks like him. Especially when he says not to mention drugs in front of Dustin.

But then he starts pulling out lists of monsters that can’t be in campaigns. And like what??? Why can’t he use demagorgons? They were gonna be in the next combat! He’s tempted to ignore the warnings, in fact he’s all set to, but something about Steve’s face when he was laying it all out haunts him. Something so deadly serious about it. So first he decides to test the waters to see if he’s full of shit.

When the session starts, he makes a throwaway comment, “you’re acting like there’s a mindflayer around the corner.”

All the kids freeze but Wheeler especially looks like he’s going to be sick. He even grabs at the bracelet around his wrist. The one he always said his best friend made him before he moved.

Eddie curses himself for even trying to test it out after that, and immediately bullshits the whole session so he can scrap any hint of demogorgans from the campaign.

After that session he drives straight to Harringtons house and demands they go over all the things he can’t include again, in detail, while he takes notes.

He doesn’t know what’s going on with these freshmen, but he knows trauma when he sees it and well he’d gotten attached to the gremlins.

When he leaves that night, he thinks Steve is looking at him with approval. Like he trusts him with their well-being now.
