I think at least lmao.

Anyway! Jason starts making videos on YouTube for one reason or another (is really stressed, no one listens to his rants Abt books who cares). His content is mostly bad books he read or really really really long rants Abt pride and prejudice. Like 3 hours on one tiny detail he noticed on his 214th read through.

He's kinda popular, mostly bc his terrible books videos. He talks Abt the ones that made him the most mad, which coincidentally are mostly romance and supernatural. Like he's one of the well known figures in the supernatural romance critique group (whcih is pretty small, but well). (Also he doesn't show his face on camera, bc secret identity and stuff, it's just his voice over a video of something mundane, like the sky or a room in which is a fly or something)

And now this can go two ways, that i can think of (w dead on main in mind at least)

1) one day Jason finds a book which is supernatural romance and is actually good. It has a kidna cliche system for the supernatural stuff, but with a refreshing twist. The characters have depts and flaws, yet are still very likable. The plot is actually interesting and overall the story's theme is death, not belonging anywhere and overall stuff that is very close to Jason's heart. The story doesn't shy away from violence and it is suprisingly accurate.

(I'm.gonna reblog this w pretty long idea of what this book could be Abt, bc i don't wanna annoy ppl lol)

Anyway Jason kinda falls in love w it, and it becomes famous for being the first novel Jason rated positively or something.

Meanwhile Danny, who was told by jazz writing is good way to get his feeling out, and just wanted to make a quick buck, is really fucking confused how tf did his book become so popular and who tf is this nerd who rates books for a living.

(basically big fan Jason and suspicious/awkward Danny lmao)

2) there is a famous series on Jason profile. It's the worst fucking series he ever read and it's just fucking awful. All the characters are fucking terrible, always going on and on about one thing, the romance sucks in a way that isnt even funny. Jason would love to believe some wrote this as a joke, if it wasn't for the absolute cringefest this was, and it wasn't a whole ass series!! Like who writes 12 books for a joke?

Danny ducking Fenton that's who. Dude was so ducking annoyed at his rogues, he threatened them w writing a terrible romance novels abt them. The ghosts, knowing his terrible grade in literature backed off for a moment, before someone crossed the line. And write Danny did. It was the worst thing he had ever written, the love interest was perfect caricature yet still faithfully go the original. And Danny, because fuck them he lost sommuch sleep over that one prank, decided to publish it. (The book was pretty thin so it didn't take that much time writing it). Unfortunately it became immensely popular in the infinite realm. So the ghosts started crossing lines on purpose. Before Danny figured it out, he had already published his fifth book and was writing another three. After some bargaining, getting a book written Abt them as a piece of shit love interest became a reward.

And while yeah, he had to say his writing was terrible and the books sucked, some small part of him was kinda proud y'know? Like a mother of her twelve ugly as fuck toddlers.

So when he saw some nerd on the internet not only shit talk his book, but also get money of it?

Danny decided to haunt him (just like his books did him, now that everyone knew Abt them thanks to this guy)

(enemies (sorta it's not that serious tho) to lovers ala terrible writer Danny who hates his books and kinda famous YouTuber hasn't who also hates Danny's books)

my oddly specific marauders modern au headcanons

if james is white (and even if he’s desi but especially if he’s any degree of white) then he’s the kind of white person who knows all of the lyrics to the childish gambino song bonfire and gets a little too into it every time it comes on (not saying the slurs of course but he just likes the song like WAYY too much)

i firmly disagree with the headcanon that sirius listens to popular music from the current day i feel like his playlists are almost exclusively pre-1990 i also know he’s incredibly annoying about it too like bro was disappointed that remus and peter already knew who david bowie was because he wanted to *introduce* them to him - he likes sufjan though because everybody likes sufjan

james and remus are only children, peter is the youngest, sirius is the oldest but people who don’t know him think he’s the youngest (it drives him crazy but regulus thinks it’s funny), mary is also the oldest, lily is the youngest, dorcas is the oldest, and marlene is a middle child (i know a lot of ppl headcanon her as the youngest but hear me out it just make sense

i promised that my next icemav fic is gonna be out this week, so this is just a little thing of what my icemav hockey (kinda) au is gonna look like. (i have two days to write 4 fics please help)

kinda hockey au as in only one of the two will be a hockey player (player x ref)

its just a junior team for young adults, nothing national or olympic.

goose is gonna be alive. everyone is happy. unless i decide someone cross checked him or hooked him and caused goose to have some kind of injury or die, he is alive.

this is gonna take place around the years 1989-1995. just so bradley is old enough to actually watch and understand and be disappointed in icemav. it might be a modern day tho.

carole x goose is a must, so they’re gonna be sprinkled in there.

its prolly gonna be ref!ice and hockeyplayer!mav. just because i feel like mav would like to show off anyways, so he has no problem with showing off to ice.

ice sometimes makes mav nervous, so he isnt as good at shooting as he usually is. goose finds it hilarious (as does carole bc goose still tells her everything).

slider got ice his job as a ref, but he’s a hockey player (not on mavs team).

i had to add some drama, so charlie or penny (maybe both) are gonna come along and ruin everything at some point. you dont get to know how.

its gonna be a oneshot, im not very good with commitment (i promise to finish at least one of my unfinished fics) at least 3-4k words.

i (lots of ppl) have a head canon that ice has a big family, so he’s gonna have annoying little siblings and stuff.

if i make it that gooses health is unstable, or he’s dead, carole and bradley will most likely either live with mav, or live close to him.

going back to the hockey stuff, mav is either gonna be captain or assistant captain. maybe not because i think that he would get kicked from games for being violent. (“i took my skate off and tried to stab someone with it, im the only guy that ever did it.”-happy gilmore)

the only differences between mav and happy gilmore will be that: mav can skate, mav isnt a golfer, mav doesnt have as bad anger issues or cursing problem, mav didnt kill a guy by surprising him with an alligator that bit off a guys hand, ect.

as you can tell, i came up with all of this while writing it. i also tried to do this without saying almost anything about what the fic will be. i think i succeeded. (look out for angst!)

With his name specifically, Tian Tian, 田 “field” + 天 “heaven/day/sky”, is his entire character – simple, no frills, unassuming on paper, but also strong, steady, salt of the earth. It's a name that once you see him both does and doesn't do him justice, like surely there's something fancier and yet between those two characters you already have the world. The name is also 9 strokes altogether! Fav number and an auspicious one – 9 heavens + if you've ever seen an imperial dragon robe, it's 9 dragons with scales in multiples of 9, eg 81.

I associate him with swans (symbol of beauty but also violent, aggressive birds), 大天鹅 Big Heaven Goose

Single-character names are so elegant/Tough to me

Canonically seen as a "Fifth Great Beauty", literally a man named Heaven, the H is for Husband TO ME

FACT I decided on the monk thing after I named him and I think it's funny. His Dharma name is 釋恒心 Shi Hengxin btw which means "monk", literally, and "resolution"

It was your birthday today. Everyone had wished you a happy one throughout the day. Well, everyone besides your own brother. But what could you do? It was the Masataka Ninomiya after all.

After his shift at Border, he dropped by your room. Usually an unexpected thing, but he seemed to remember that he had a younger sibling when it was your birthday.

"Here," he said with his normal blunt tone.

You didnt question him and simply took the item (pretend it's smth you've wanted for a while now). It wasnt even wrapped up...

After silently swallowing your subtle displeasure, you were thankful in the end, "Thanks Masa."

He ignored this nickname and began to walk out.

"Dinner's ready," he said from over his shoulder.

You suddenly couldn't help but wonder what his reaction was when he found out he was going to have a younger sibling. An amusing thought crossed your mind. It would've been really funny if he had actually made a face of worry or discontent. You were definitely going to bring it up to your parents during dinner.

I've chipped away slowly at her design like multiple times and I think,,,,I think this is it 🥺 Aster,,, little bundle of joy, her and amias would definitely get along,,,I mean Amias RLYYY wanted her on the team BC he thought she was cool but she's just a silly girlie

Ramble:

Her lore isn't so thorough yet but I'm planning to make her a runaway daughter of a king who is known for his tyranny,,,she used to study the college of whispers because her father forced her too but after she ran away, she switched to the college of valor because she used to read books of heroes and she admired people with bravery. Those books she read were also the reason she realised that her father wasn't a great person,,,I cant imagine how hard it was for her to change her view of him

Now she travels to different cities to sing songs and tell tales of unbelievable legends and hopes that one day, she could be the one who writes a legend 🥺 (deep down, she also hopes to document the downfall of her father's tyranny)

Due to her past schooling, she still gets occasional chills and whispers from ghosts and they scare her a bunch 😞😞

It'd be crazy if those ghastly whispers were from the victims of her father's tyranny,,,gyulp

I like her character because she symbolises breaking harmful cycles and creating a new beginning. She proves that it's possible to detach from a troubled background and pursue a passion (although I cannot lie that she could've only done this BC she was noble and had money to support herself for a while before having to earn her own gold).

I think Amias admires her for her wit and creativity but also because he finds her extremely brave,,,knowing Amias' struggle with purity, he admires how Aster was able to "redeem herself" by cutting off her family in search of goodness and passion. Amias on the other hand, struggles to separate himself from his sins because he doesn't know the root of his issue but he has to find out about it, whether he likes it or not,,,BC you can't separate yourself from something you don't know

I Ordell probably felt skeptical about her because ,,,HE RECOGNISED HER AS THE DAUGHTER OF A TYRANT....☠️ And honestly he had a pretty reasonable reaction to it and refused to let Amias convince him for a bit but after some time, he did give in. Tho he keeps his guard up around her,,,his natural instincts could probably sense the lingering souls of the dead around her,,,and personality wise, she seems very spontaneous and Ordell RLY believes his routines and rituals so he prolly tolerates her personality. Doesn't mean that he's an ass to her tho, he treats her nicely still and would eventually learn to trust her

Think the difference between Amias and Aster to Ordell is that although Amias is unpredictable, he tries to have a plan,,,and cus hes a leader-type, Amias is good at letting ppl know about his plans,,,so yes he's impulsive during situations that might trigger his morals but he would still try to keep his party on track,,,Aster on the other hand is just crazy, her spontaneous acts are more for everyday things and small acts that may throw a few ppl off but wouldn't jeopardize anything,,,Ordell understands why Amias acts impulsively BC of his weird sense of morals but Ordell cant understand why Aster likes to switch things up on little things like morning routines and stuff ☠️

Find it funny how he's more annoyed at trivial inconsistencies than Amias' big impulsive decisions (he probably trusts Amias to bring the party back on track,,,but he'll step in if things rly seem like they're going haywire)

thisll be a mix of their relationship + past relationships

Freemind's will mention Eddie, bc of this i will say my Eddie =/= Eddie's mind Eddie, idk shit abt that one, my Eddie is based entirely off of the stories Fm told in his canon story. (just so ppl dont get confused or something)

Barmey's relationships;

He tends to date people he met online in mmo's, most of the time he doesn't actually have a thing for them tho bc he didnt know he was gay for far too long

he's still friends with his old GF from high school, they broke up in college bc he felt like they were better friends, she was an exchange student and was the most popular girl in school. If he told you this you would probably not believe him.

Thought relationships were supposed to be awkward for the entire relationship

Never realizes anyone is flirting with him, if he does notice anything he thinks they're joking

had less relationships in elementary -> high school (until he met his gf) bc he was one of the only trans guys in the entire shitty Arizona town no one wanted to date him. and if they did he wouldn't have even noticed tbh

The only time he started REALLY questioning his sexuality was when he met Freemind in college but just assumed that he just thought he was really cool

Now that they're dating he finally realizes why people want to kiss and stuff. he thought ppl just over hyped relationship stuff

you might be surprised but he's the top in this relationship

Will literally jump to tell anyone everything abt his boyfriend even if it's what everyone sees as 100 red flag stories in a row

Very easy to make jealous but he tries to not be weird about it most of the time

literally trapped in the honey moon phase for the rest of their lives

once as a romantic gesture he made an entire rube goldberg machine throughout their entire apartment that ended with a box of banana laffy taffy dropping onto Freemind's bed. literally Freemind will bring this up to everyone

desperately tries to win prizes for his bf at fairs or amusement parks but always fails. he fucking sucks at them bc he gets nervous. If absolutely no one is looking at him he would get a perfect score

he is a little bit better at showing his affection than Freemind is

He's not had many bad relationships or anything, mostly bc he doesn't often go on dates with people. (dating regularly bothered him bc to cut time out of his schedule)

When he has tried dating Often people think he's kind of cringy or annoying bc of his very specific interests so they never clicked.

Freemind's Relationships;

Freemind has not so good luck with people, his past relationships never lasted that long for one reason or another.

He tends to be very bad at figuring out when people are into him or completely hate him. He often reads it completely wrong (Someone who doesn't like him = they want him, someone who obviously wants him = wants to kill him)

Similar to Barmey he didn't have much dating luck as a young guy bc he was trans + an actual lunatic. Plus he looked like a nerd for most of his years until he started his punk phase when he was 15. His town wasn't as small as Barmey's so they didnt know anyone (he lives in a town CLOSE but not IN Seattle in most of my headcanons. I have no reason why this is different. sometimes he does live there tho depends on the day for me)

Despite talking a big game he has a lot of trouble flirting with girls first bc they scare him, bc of this he tends to only get flirty when they flirt with him first bc he's too intimidated to actually do anything

he has gotten pepper sprayed before, not for anything serious he just has absolutely 0 luck. Once it was because his ex gf was mad that he made a pipe bomb in her garage and once it's bc some stranger mistook him for someone else when he went to talk to her. He was also tazed once but that was bc he lost a bet with his gf at the time

He dated ONE normal person exactly one time and it was the weirdest relationship he'd ever been in. He would literally rather date someone who slashes his tires bc he forgot their birthday over someone who's favorite hobby is going on hikes. Never again

Tends to prefer flings over actual relationships

made out with like 50 different dudes in college and still didn't realize he was bisexual until he was living in New Mexico (this depends on the au i'm thinking of bc sometimes he been knew and sometimes he doesn't) He thought this was just normal college shenanigans

He also gets jealous like Barmey does. They are mutually jealous ppl when it comes to eachother.

Eddie is his drug deal and best friend from high school, depending on universe he slept with him or fooled around w/ him at least once. But they have no romantic feelings for each other, just mutual attraction.

Freemind tends to date girls who want to burn down peoples houses and crash cars. Sometimes this is fine sometimes it isn't. He prefers punks + goth/emo + weird girls, he prefers fatter girls who are tall but any height and body type he can find attractive.

As for men, he prefers guys who are dumb as a bag of rocks and infuriating OR absolutely batshit crazy or both. He tends to prefer Fatter tall men. but any height and body type he can find attractive.

Was that guy who refused to say "I love you" in like every single relationship he was ever in, his relationships were often mutually unhealthy.

However there was the rare moment where he would become absolutely infatuated with someone bc they were perceived 'better' by his mental illness. If they broke up he would either immediately hate them or spiral into thinking he's the worst person alive. This happened once while he was dating a girl who cheated on him, after their breakup he spiraled.

Now that he's dating Barmey he has to learn how to love and be affectionate like a most people. The best way for him to do this is to randomly gift Barmey things that he knows he likes. (like a "Look i thought about and remember the thing you like.")

He does a lot of cooking specifically for Barmey bc although he doesn't like cooking that much he's good at it and it's better than the garbage Barmey eats nearly daily . This is another sign of affection bc usually he wouldn't care.

^ in the same vein, another form/proof of love is that Barmey can be in the kitchen while he cooks, which is crazy bc usually Freemind absolutely despises when people are in the kitchen with him when he cooks bc it overwhelms him. But not Barmey :)

Is not normal about asking for cuddle time he will enter the room and just stare at Barmey until he notices him or sit very very close to him until Barmey initiates like a damn cat. Luckily Barmey usually does.

He WILL however initiate holding his hands constantly. it's one of his favorite forms of affection when they're outside together. He also likes putting his arm around him while walking.

Freemind parades Barmey around like Barmey is his trophy husband. He would actually attack you if you said anything rude to Barmey right in front of him.

As one, Zeena is 120 years canonically and flirts with Sonic, so one can assume, Zeena being an adult flirting with Sonic also makes him an adult, therefore Amy too most likely who also goes after Sonic. One could assume that they're mostly adults at that point for the OG Crew at the minimum with Tails probably being debatable. As I get they removed the age thing but I think it's just more of a natural progression thing.

//I mention this, as I think both sides are right honestly? At some point, they were minors in the series, but the series is how old now? It's not unheard of that by the time of Lost Worlds in 2013 or so? That Sonic was old enough to flirt with by Zeena, so there's been some pretty concrete progression. But hey, if you want your character to be a minor? You can still do that and use an earlier version, people do this literally all the time. As if Sega ever says they're not? It'd be really weird in my honest opinion considering how they have some adults act toward Sonic such as Zeena so yeah. I'm right either way. -shrugs-

I tend to find a lot of the problems ppl have in the rpc pretty for rpc only stuff (not real life) pretty stupid half the time. I have most of those ppl blocked, though not ppl who criticize series, things etc, a good distinction to make. I think it's important to realize that some people genuinely just can't get along, but can exist in the same space. It's why I tend to just block over first impressions after giving a semi-chance so I don't tell someone to fuck off down the line if I lost my temper if they're too annoying for my tastes. (I'm more tolerant these days, but I do have my moments as everyone does) Once I talk privately p frequently or if we rp p frequently, I don't block without talking about it now. I also think at the same time you shouldn't block ppl that you're close with, ghost or convince other ppl to block someone unless they're literally a danger to minors or doing really creepy shit or maliciously bigoted stuff ooc. I think ppl who do that to other ppl are kind of assholes when it's over benign shit or stuff that isn't exactly proven, like there are variables of course but yeah. I can say I've actively tried to mend bridges with people as I can admit that I'm not without fault but I hung out with some p big morons who got offended at everything and I trusted them at the time, since closer ppl I tend to think the best of. Those types tho get the boot now bc they actively made me miserable sometimes to the point I didn't want to be on here.

Maladaptive coping is, to put it mildly, the only thing worth reading abt in fic. sorry. I mean I know I legit cant say that because Ive only written one fic of that variety and its not even on ao3 bc I abandoned it but I contain multitudes I can be a hypocrite as a treat. She just travels so much and has for such a long time from such a young age (olympic wrestling first & now this) all over the country to where her family can hardly follow her around all the time & maybe she goes home a little less than she maybe should and maybe she lets her phone die on purpose sometimes . Maybe she feels shame about utilising violence as a form of entertainment instead of for a Good Cause like her father did. Maybe this shame is entirely unwarranted but she’s too scared to find out bc yk. infection. Etc etc
