Anyone else get joy out of the slightly startled look on people’s faces when they realize they’ve opened the can?

I infodumped about pregnancy and human evolution/anthropology and fertility goddess and the moon until my boyfriend starting snoring on call and gosh does that make me happy. Most of the time when I infodump I feel like I'm a burden, like I'm taking up too much time, but with him it relaxed him, he likes listening to me talk and picturing everything I say in his mind. I really feel loved with him

Being able to info dump to friends is sooo nice!! I love being able to share my special interests with people I love. Especially when they want to know more! I appreciate it so much. Especially because I *need* to talk about it so you’re going to hear about it anyway but having someone who is genuinely interested and isn’t annoyed feels so nice!
