#something is very obviously different about these two compared to my normal images on this blog. i acknowledge this #also the sv model is Really good. and since they always stare straight at the camera anyway… and no one pays attention to the background…#and the only high-quality phantump model i could find was so horribly shiny that its eyes were just white voids #in my defense‚ phantump always just stare straight at you in game #the lighting is different‚ yeah. that's probably the dead giveaway. beyond the background. but like. i'm the only being on the planet who #really likes phantump anyway. i feel like it's a generally forgettable pokémon to most folks #phantump #HELLO this one is a weird one. i have some explaining to do. so when i did this one i didn't know how to edit models really at all #and when i got the models for these‚ the xy models were super shiny. shiny to the point that it made their eyes fuckin invisible #and i decided that since you could barely tell it was phantump‚ i needed a different way to get these images #i remembered that in the SV dlc‚ every time you find a wild phantump‚ it just fucking. stares. at you. and i was like. aha #i kinda remembered because of the test stream that i did. tumblr user alligayytorr (am i getting the right amount of Ys) said #“haha i am getting a sneak peek” when i zoomed the camera in on a phantump. and i remembered that. and i was like. i can utilize this #and ended up using just an in-game screenshot of SV in replacement of the regular content. later on‚ after that #once we got into gen 7 and it became less and less reliable to find models‚ i had to learn how to edit them manually to remove the shine #i am a software dev. not a 3d modeler. this ended up coming down to editing the code of the models directly (which i ended up writing a #script to automate). now‚ today‚ january 22nd (the day of me writing these tags and updating this post)‚ i remembered this post was in the #queue and was not normal. so i went back‚ ran the script on the phantump and trevenant models‚ and unshinified them #then edited these two posts to be normal. i have left the original pictures i took under the cut for reference and as bonuses #because i really enjoy phantump. so that's why those images are there‚ and that's why these tags are here #just for posterity's sake‚ the folks who come here mostly for my commentary‚ i've left the ORIGINAL tags of the post when i initially #made it with the SV pictures up at the top (i wanted to rearrange them‚ but tumblr makes that Very difficult‚ so i left them as-is)#so if these tags are confusing to read i Apologize. but i hope now that you're at the bottom you understand what happened #i'm gonna go edit the trevenant post now

visiting the hometown

(want everyone to know this edit came to me in a dream and i changed the lore just to do it)

#in the dream i was like editing it but i was also there? it was weird. it started as a dream about lawson in a zombie apocalypse #ok important tags first so i can write an essay #ts4 #ts4 render #ts4 edit #the sims 4 #beckett #lawson #blood sports #but yeah if you haven't been here before beckett and lawson never knew each other as kids #if they did it would be a butterfly effect and mess w a bunch of other plot details. so i decided to work around it #also if ur new they've had a friends with benefits thing going on for a long time but lawson is in love with him. beck doesn't know #originally beckett was put in foster care as a baby bc of neglect and was bounced around foster homes for years #he was a troubled child always getting in fights a kleptomaniac undiagnosed autism etc etc foster families tried and just didn't want him #then when he was around 12 a very nice old lady named cora got him and they ended up forming a great bond they loved each other #she was going to adopt him then when beckett was around 15 or 16 his birth mother reentered the picture and wanted him back #it started a really nasty legal battle and cora died. we can't say for sure it was the stress of this fight but beckett certainly thinks so #anyway he did go back with his birth mother and things got really bad for him. he dropped out of school started doing worse crimes and so o #but none of that is what even changed #now LAWSON is also from west virigina like beckett. it's a small town lawson was new he had no friends #he was a very clingy possessive child who cried and threw tantrums so much #he met beckett and the rest is history. beckett didn't really mind how lawson acted he didn't really find him annoying like everyone elsedi #besides he didn't have friends either #lawson has wealthy parents they were welcoming to beckett at first if a little apprehensive. then he stole something from their house #and lawson wasn't allowed to hang out with him anymore. but he still did in secret. they still have no idea that beckett's even still aroun #or just how involved lawson is with him and his. activities 😬 they just think he's their good little college boy #in the original beckett moved to Not Gotham City when his mother got him back but in this version lawson is going to college there #and beckett's been distant from him for a while things are awful for him and lawson says hey. what if you gave the city a try. and he did #so really you could say the events of blood sports are all lawson's fault the end

A bit of a toss to the wind, but what if Shinomori is related to Bruce? Probably not gonna happen but

They have:

Straight nose bridges

Thick necks

Same ears

Spiky yet fluffy hair that's still somewhat cooperative

Both their eyes are flat on top with small/single eyelids, and a bit of a tired or intimidating feel about their eyes

Small pupils (sanpaku eyes)

Mouths that naturally frown the same way

Similar chins and jawlines

Long legs

Both are weirdly, VERY tall, and intimidating on first impressions

Both are cautious individuals that rebel against society in their own way: Bruce by fighting directly, and Shinomori by ducking out

The fact Bruce knew where to find him and gave the Factor to some guy he met in the forest, and being as level-headed as Bruce, there had to be a deeper reason for his choice (unless it's just desperation and Shinomori's the most level-headed existence after Bruce dealt with Kudo's experimenting) beyond simply "Shinomori's a good choice"

Because Bruce was not one of the "as they laid down to die, it was passed to an unfortunate soul" vestiges, he had time and passed it on his own terms. There's also some degree of trust when every user passes on the Factor, and Bruce had space to choose his next person.

Shinomori and Bruce are level-headed and self-sacrificial without thinking. (Technically this applies to a LOT of characters, but-)

Shinomori pushed everyone behind him and got snatched by AFO so no one would be stolen, even though he hid from the guy his whole life. No hesitation at all in this.

Look at how there's multiple "whams", he didn't just push one person. Even Kudo's legs are blurred, his arms are raised, and he looks mid-air, despite being on his feet earlier. Like he was thrown back. Banjo and Nana's mouths are open in shock, and you can tell by their bodies' positions they weren't running (except maybe Bruce).

They all look like they were pushed. En got shoved in the middle of his back, and his blur even lines up with Shinomori's hand, Yoichi got thrown back, and Nana doesn't look like she was running, but that she was being tripped from Shinomori.

Banjo panicked and the first thing he did was yell the news to Midoriya. AFO surprised them, but Shinomori did too.

Like I mentioned in my [Shinomori is cute] post,

"His sense of self-preservation is probably heightened by the nature of his Quirk to keep him out of danger too."

And he still put everyone else before him. Even when he was caught, all he said was along the lines of "I leave the Ninth to you!".

Meanwhile, Bruce was willing to go against AFO in a closed space, back when AFO was at his peak and just killed Yoichi. He wasn't thinking either, he just took a stance. And Fa Jin was not as strong as we see Midoriya use it back then. Meanwhile, this is AFO at his strongest point.

Are both very "Do or Die". And both have died in the Do. (Protecting OFA, when alive and dead; passing it on, cultivating on their turns, giving up their Factors to damage AFO and protect OFA in their own ways [being taken, forceful transfer], etc)

Like Bruce, Shinomori communicates. He's eloquent, and explains a lot for Midoriya to understand about OFA's mechanics.

He explained how OFA couldn't be wielded by naturally Quirked people.

He explained his own life story to elaborate and add reasoning and consequence.

He introduced himself and asked Midoriya questions so he could participate and further his understanding about OFA.

When Midoriya was clearly hurt and tired in his running around alone, Shinomori calls him out with "Ninth, your injuries aren't fully healed yet". He remained and watched him go as Midoriya pushed them all away. And Shinomori could tell their Quirks were only giving Midoriya the power he needs to accomplish his goals. He didn't keep this knowledge from the other users, saying it immediately.

Though he's also a bit roundabout in communication like Bruce

"One For All cannot be wielded by a normal person." meaning normal, Quirked people

"This too, is destiny." *is immediately contrasted by Banjo saying it's timing*

"Do you know how I died?" *knows the answer is no. answers himself* "I died of old age."

"I'll get straight to the point." *has to correct himself before he starts to go on for too long*

Maybe just because they're both tall and have muscles, but. Shoulder blades and biceps. (Oh boy, two things most humans have)

If they're related, it just gives more reason to why Bruce can put up with Kudo; he's dealt with Shinomori and his weirdness

(pause as we look at the date)#...actually don't worry about it we'll finish it eventually #wereweevil form draws inspiration from both mantids and wild boars!#we're going with the theory that weevils and primal weevils are NOT the same species #but rather different species entirely that tend to cohabitate and have some aesthetic similarities because of it #golden path weevils are a VERY altered form of weevils that have adapted very far from their original form over time #and primal weevils are a member of superorder dictyoptera split off from an ancestor like...#googling it suggests the common name we're familiar with is not actually common since it didnt bring up results but the wood mantis #but honestly it could either be a split from one of the Flat Fuck mantids or a roach w those raptorial forelegs #while golden path weevils have evolved specifically to eat seedlings and are most likely a split of acorn weevil #primal weevils are Something Else Entirely and have the “everything and the kitchen sink” diet of a roach #though they do prefer plumplings and have over time developed teeth specifically for cracking them open and eating them #their mutualistic relationship with golden path weevils stems from this: cracking open otherwise difficult plumpling prey for GP weevils #and receiving the benefits of a pack of allies for hunting more difficult prey in return #primal weevils are most likely an awakened species from what we've seen of canon but we doubt roaches would acknowledge them #as related much less potentially another form of roach #seeing as the roaches in game seem to be purely based on a handful of “pest” species and not the absolute wealth of roach species out there #that have unique adaptations or mimicry or anything of the like #we don't think they would take well to mimic roaches or anything of the like. also ties in to our hcs for levi.#if youre not one of the core species of roach then you dont get considered a “roach”. there are probably plenty of mimic roaches out there #just not acknowledged as Roaches because the Roaches bugarians are familiar with were a single culture with only a handful of species

sorry this is so late! and long as hell- hope you enjoy!

¤- leo, despite swearing to himself that he wouldn’t fall in love easily, had swooned as soon as his eyes landed on you.

¤- you were beautiful in every way possible. it made his heart pound with anticipation on what your next move might be. he couldn’t help it, even his pupils reflected the shapes of hearts whenever you were in his line of sight, which to be honest, was a lot more than he’d admit verbally.

¤- it first happened when he and his brothers were out on patrol, looking for something to liven up the night. unable to find much, they just settled on getting some pizza.

¤- the original plan was for them to order online, drop in through the backdoor, grab the pizza without being spotted, and book it out.

¤- it would’ve gone smoothly if not for a certain someone who caught leo’s attention from the front counter. you were just ordering and having a nice conversation with the cashier. from your body language and attractive face to your mannerisms and voice, the blue turtle loved it all.

¤- he dropped the box of pizza he was holding, eliciting three sharp hisses from his brothers. the four of them looked frightened as they felt someone’s eyes on them. well, one of them didn’t mind who it was- they turned to look at you, and were pleasantly surprised when there was no fear lacing your gaze on them.

¤- instead, you just looked concerned as to why they were ‘stealing’ pizza. they really weren’t, they had ordered it beforehand anyways. the cashier was about to turn and look at what you were staring at, but you quickly grabbed their attention again and started up the conversation as a distraction while the turtles escaped.

¤- leo was astounded. just how kind could someone be, even for people they didn’t know?

¤- you were perfect.

¤- after that first meeting, leo starts begging [more like threatening] donnie to find information on you. donnie refuses, as it goes against most of what they stand for despite the morally grey facade he puts up.

¤- although donnie had refused, leo just began to sneak past his security systems and into the lab at ungodly hours of the night, memorizing as much info he can dig up on you.

¤- it’s unsettling for his brothers. in the span of only maybe a week, leo had gone from their flamboyant sibling to holed up in his room all day or busy going out.

¤- of course, he stalks you. he commits the layout of your home to his memory, determined to be able to say he knew you the best. you were his prized possession, even if you weren’t fully in his grasp yet.

¤- everything you do, he’s obsessed with you. seeing you so oblivious to him right outside your window, it sends him into such immense bliss, it’s like he’s seeing stars.

¤- then, like any pride-filled limerence, leo got bolder.

¤- he began to ‘bump into’ you in alleyways, and try sparking conversation. you kindly went along with it, mentioning how you remembered him from the night at the pizzeria. it made him giddy that you had actually thought him important enough to remember, but his pride also made him delusional.

¤- he’s so sure you love him back. why shouldn’t you? you seem just as into him as he is in you. you seem like you like talking to him, and like you look forward to the ‘accidental’ meetups in the alleyways.

¤- sometimes you won’t even be in the alleyway, he’ll just pull you in kind of roughly, especially if he saw you talking to someone else earlier. you play it off as just him having a bad day or something along the lines of an accident.

¤- the meetups go on for a while, until one fateful night.

¤- you had been doing your usual night routine for bed, unseeing of the figure outside you window once again. you were also excited and slightly nervous because earlier and kind of out of the blue, leo had invited you to meet his brothers at their home the next day.

¤- after your routine, you settled into bed and fell asleep pretty quickly. it wasn’t until at least 2 or 3 AM that you stirred in your sleep at the strange sensation of touch grazing your skin. it dragged along your face, before cupping your cheek while another touch began to play with your hair.

¤- your eyes fluttered open to be met with a certain blue turtle’s hues. perhaps the scariest thing was the fact that he hadn’t backed away or ceased his actions despite you being awake. you were paralyzed with fear, staring up at the mutant with pure terror lacing your gaze.

¤- he could only grin lazily, holding a finger to his lips now as if to keep you quiet. it wasn’t that that kept you silent though. it was actually the piece of cloth on your mouth.

¤- you immediately knew what it probably was, so you shot up and out of bed, struggling against his strong grip now on your shoulders. he pinned you against the bed, hardly using any of his strength to do so. you helplessly tried to kick and punch at his lean frame, but it amounted to nothing.

¤- an accidental breath, and you felt your body relax. eyes fluttering shut, you fell unconscious.

¤- he had won.

¤- the following days with him would be hell for you.

¤- he threatened almost everything you loved so you wouldn’t rat him out to his brothers while he forced you to be his lover. he convinces his siblings that you were his significant other easily, because why would they listen to some stranger they saw once over their precious brother?

¤- leo is nothing short of touchy and clingy, always needing a hand around you whether it be your shoulders, waist, etc. he just wanted to always be touching you somehow.

¤- he doesn’t let his brothers talk to you for too long before getting jealous, pulling you away and using the same threats, yet they work all the same.

¤- if you had fucked up real bad, let’s just say…things get messy.

¤- leo would have you knocked out and tied up, then abruptly woken and kept awake while he carved his name into different places on your body. you can kick and scream all you want, but it won’t get you out of this situation. he finds pleasure in every reaction you offer, though he also spends most of the time mocking you and belittling you for being so weak.

¤- even after the whole ordeal, he doesn’t immediately go into cuddling you or whatever. nono, he’ll make sure he got his point across with some good ol’ manipulation. once you swear you’ll never try and escape or do anything against him in general, he unties the ropes.

¤- he smothers you with affection and slips a few compliments about how well you took the carving, but all you could offer back were sniffles and empty stares.

¤- you weren’t broken, but you were emotionally and physically drained.

¤- overall, leo is a very flirty, possessive, manipulative, and delusional yandere. he doesn’t hesitate to let the whole world know how much he loves you, and if you don’t love him back?

¤- well…not like you’ll have much of a choice :)
