well! grimmsnarl has more fans than i expected it to. i vaguely remember seeing a post one time about the problems with grimmsnarl's design but it's not coming to me. and i can't seem to find it online. that's somewhat what i was referencing—though it seems most of you quite enjoy grimmsnarl's design. i'll refrain from commenting on that, to be quite honest in other news:

ahh yeah. around that time my tags had been getting a little bit more… "lazy," shall we say, given the struggle i was going through just to get models working in the first place. they've gotten better now and more interesting—i've heard this exact sentiment quite a lot of times (and i do appreciate it! makes me want to talk more, and we all know i love talking—i tried the streaming thing once, didn't really work) but sometimes a pokémon is just not one that i think about or recognize often, so i have a harder time generating interesting thoughts to say about it. impidimp is one of those—it's a little screebo evil creature thing, but i typically think more about its evolutions. morgrem because i like its design more, and grimmsnarl because i despise its design (sorry grimmsnarl likers) and it's a competitive menace, if i remember correctly. it has a unique typing, which is cool—i think if i was making a pokémon like that, i'd have a hard time coming up with a good type for it, but that's as good of one as ever. and i try to stray away from saying i don't like pokémon nowadays because every pokémon is somebody's favorite. although i do still have my own opinions, obviously. my favorite pokémon changes a lot—right now it's skiddo, which is apparently Not a mainstream pick because it's impossible to find anyone else on the planet who likes skiddo

impidimp, well, that's a pokémon! i could pick it up and squish it down into a ball and throw it pretty hard i think. it would probably enjoy it

it's a solid chunk of them. in the last month, the furret post has gained 2,649 notes, whereas the blog as a whole has garnered 13,488 notes. simple math tells us it's about 19% of my notes. which is about what i estimated in my head—i guessed it was about 25% of my notes. although that post does have about 100x the notes that a typical post on this blog gets, so bravo you all for somehow achieving that

lucky for you, it's already in the queue. you all are seeing the posts from right at the beginning of the model hell right now—i've actually gotten through it decently well at this point and i'm kinda back in easy territory now that i know how to handle the issues i've come across. not easy easy, mind, as it still takes more work than it used to for every model, but i'm getting them working with much more efficiency than i ever was back when i was doing hattenna and hattrem and all those fuckers. i could redo them nowadays and they'd probably look better, but that's only if enough folks care. anyway, as is tradition, here's your falinks sneak peek:

i'm glad some folks are enjoying it. i remember it being somewhat hellish to make, but that was back before i'd refined my strategy. it's still unfortunate that this strategy will only Really work for gen 8, though, and will likely stop working in gen 9. but i know what i'm doing now, for the most part, and hopefully i'll be able to figure it out when we get there
