i've noticed from answering questions on Quora that a LOT of people apparently think Kyoshi was the most brutal Avatar (which is probably an evolution of that really obnoxious and character-damaging joke of 'LOL KYOSHI WANTS TO MURDER EVERYTHING'), and it seems to keep being brought up as a positive in terms of describing her as a powerful and effective Avatar, and I really don't like the unspoken implication; that being brutal makes you more effective, and that by in turn being gentle or not smashing your opposition at the first chance makes you weak.
I've implied a thought in the past, and i will say it now: a large part of the ATLA fandom is weirdly close to outright saying that Ozai was right or that Sozin did nothing wrong, that their actual goals and methods were completely morally neutral, that mass slaughter, genocide and brutality are all completely justified if you do it against the 'Right People', so to speak.
Because, the unspoken thought here, that brutality and ruthlessness get Things Done and are therefore better than talking to people or mediating disputes, keeps coming up in the fandom. The praise of Kyoshi for her willingness to kill (though canonically she was deeply conflicted and distraught over the taking of life).
When i hear people talk about how she's effective because they think she's brutal, or imply that Aang's reluctance to kill makes him a less effective Avatar (Despite the series VERY STRONGLY implying that harmony and spiritual methods are a better thing, overall, than simply imposing your will upon others; not for nothing is Wan Shi Tong's remark of 'do you think YOU are the first one to believe your war is justified' comes off as an ideological defeat towards their brief conflict with him), and implicitly dismiss the actual function of the Avatar being to descend upon the realms of humanity and bring peace and harmony to a world struggling against itself and false divisions, I hear reflections of Ozai declaring to Aang "You're WEAK! Just like the rest of your people! They were too weak to deserve to live in this world, in MY world!"
and that the fandom as a whole, who lionize brutality for its own sake, don't see an inherent problem with what Ozai is saying (probably in the spirit of one fanfic writer who at one point criticized the Air Nomad's pacifism by saying 'at the end of it, look who's still standing') or worse, given the large amount of fandom that obsesses over the Fire Nation or even write Katara as AGREEING with the Fire Nation, think Ozai is absolutely right, and that the only thing that matters is forcing the world to do what you want.

many people were confused about some of my previous posts, so for the sake of clarity i am condensing everything!
tumblr has extremely transphobic moderation practices, often flagging completely innocent posts as explicit, solely for containing trans women in them or mentioning transgenderism. while letting untagged porn in sfw tags (ive literally seen porn tagged as "sfw agere") and blatent hatespeech, especially twards trans people (just look at the "gender critical" tag) go completely unchecked
recently the CEO of tumblr had a big public hissyfit about people (rightfully) calling him transmysogenistic, going into random trans womens dms to harrass them, and saying that predstrogen saying she "hopes he explodes with hammers and then explodes again and hammers fly everywhere" is a death threat and saying he is calling the FBI on her (repeatedly misgendering her and calling her "it")
and many bloggers, apon speaking out about it or even making harmless jokes (one trans woman posted a picture of a car and a hammer with the caption "reblog to scare matt" and got nuked for it) and many are very very angry (rightfully) about this whole affair and tumblr in general.
if you would like to look into it i reccomend scrolling the "predstrogen" tag as she is the case most people are talking about at the moment.
So, what can we do?
this is clearly an ongoing issue, and, dispite having lost a lawsuit about their transphobic moderation in the past (see : https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/21274288-tumblr-nycchr-settlement) its clearly not gonna stop with just user complaints, as staff members are perfectly content to just go scorched earth on users who even so much as lightly poke fun at them
well if you want to help you should contact the human rights commision (i will give clear details further down) ! you dont have to be in the US, nor be an adult to file, and it only takes a few minutes. this is the best and most effective method to fix this, because it hits tumblr where it hurts.
human rights acencies have a lot of legal and financial power and tumblr CAN NOT just ignore them, and given that this will be the seccond time this is happening, the commisions shouldnt be playing nice anymore eaither.
its really important that AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE FILE, and with different examples! while maybe your case might not be enough to prop up a lawsuit on its own, we need to prove a general trend. so every little bit counts!
to respond to another question abt this ive gotten, as for what exactly to report, you should a) write about an act of discrimination youve recieved on tumblr that was eaither administered by a staff member OR that staff refused to give adequate moderation action in
for example : a terf posted some blatent hatespeech targeted twards you, and you reported them, and staff looked at the issue and refused to persecute it.
example 2 : you were unfairly flagged, deleted, or otherwise punished by a staff member and you are queer ( AND the post they banned you for has some kind of tie to your gender, ex : a sfw transition progress photo )
OR b) if you have not personally recieved something like that, please look for other peoples stories (THEY SHOULDNT BE HARD TO FIND, within the last couple of hours trans people have been being banned LEFT AND RIGHT for trying to speak on this. i would reccomend checking some of the tags related to what happened with predstrogen)
and you should describe that incident as best as possible (be sure to disclose that you are speaking for someone else, ideally you should tell the story of someone you know, if possible.) you can also mention any reports you have made twards people posting blatent hatespeech that, opon reveiwing tumblr refused to prosecute dispite it being very obviously against terms of service.
just so nobody gets confused about the filing process, im laying it out in more plain languadge!!
first you should email the SF HRC (san francisco human rights commision), at [email protected] and say something along these lines :
Hello, I am [full name] from [country or state] and I am filing a complaint against Tumblr, witch is owned by the parent company Automattic Inc. located at 60 29th St, San Francisco, CA 94110.
Tumblr has had previous issues with the NYC DHR for their moderation being unfairly biased against trans women (see : https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/21274288-tumblr-nycchr-settlement).
Despite a legally binding agreement with the NYC DHR, staff members still regularly harrass users based on their gender or sexual orientations. For example : on [date of most recent infraction] [describe incident]
(if you are describing an incident that did not happen to you specifically, say something like) This incident involves the user [username] who I am not affiliated with (or/) who I am filing on behalf of.
I can be reached for further inquiries about this incident at [email you want to talk over] or [phone number you want to talk over]. (if you would like to be anonymous) However, In the event of legal prosecution against Automattic I would refer to be kept anonymous, where possible, in court proceedings.
alternatively, you can also call the SF HRC at : 415-252-2500, you can use the above text as a starting point for this as well,
next you want to fill out the form for the NYC DHR (new york city department of human rights) here : https://www.nyc.gov/site/cchr/about/report-discrimination.page

you can then use a similar script on the written section of the form.
when describing a specific incident, you should attach as many screenshots and links as possible! (for links, include both a live link and an archival link, so take a capture with the internet archive and have that as an alternative, incase a staff member gets petty.)
this should only take a few minutes at most, and it helps alot!
you can fill this out if you are a minor, and you dont have to be a us resident, please please take the time!!!

it wouldnt be his first ,, or last ,, time around humans . hes been to earth ,, met the residents and seen the sightings ,, but now that he was in a relationship with a human ,, and about to be interviewed ,, he couldnt help but worry about what might happen . what if says something wrong ? or does something to make people think otherwise of interspecies relationships ? especially his with you ? his spark hummed loudly ,, visor dimming as he worried more and more . " hey ,, look at me ." your voice broke his worried thoughts .
he crouched down to your height ,, or as best as he could . " you'll do fine ,, i know it ." your hands wrapped around his digit ,, a smile settled upon your lips as you eased his nerves . " if they go overboard or say something that makes you uncomfortable ,, just tell me and we can leave immediately . i promise trailcutter ,, i wont put you in a situation you dont want to be in ." you reassured the bot ,, hands petting his digit . " if you dont want to do this we can call it off ,, and ill message the interviewer . they'll understand ,, im sure ." primus bless you ,, trailcutter really felt like he didnt deserve you . he wouldnt say that out loud though ,, knowing you'd get upset and tell him he shouldnt think that way . but he knows ,, he knows deep down that you mean the world to him ,, that he doesnt really deserve someone as nice and understanding as you . he's lucky to be with you ,, still awestruck at the fact you chose him over any other bot .
you could've chosen rodimus ,, with his bright and flashy paintjob and outgoing personality . you couldve chosen ratchet ,, who could help you with anything and was quite a handsome mech in a way . there was also skids ,, who was more the nice to you and made you laugh often . or even the minibots aboard the ship ; swerve — who knew more about earth than trailcutter did — would be a good match for you . even that little guy tailgate hes seen around . they were better suited for your height ,, and wouldnt have to worry so much about accidentally squishing you underfoot like he does everyday . hell ,, you even could've chosen cyclonus . he had shanix ,, and knew a lot more than he did about anything in the universe .
but you didnt . you chose him ,, a mech with a drinking problem and many insecurities . a mech known as a little horsey to be used for his force fields only . though it was due to those very force fields that had attracted you to strike a conversation with him . giving him more compliments he'd ever receive in his whole life . that little conversation would lead into a friendship ,, and those little moments between you two would blossom into your relationship . you had taken the mech a long way ,, his insecurities started to become something he was starting to feel confident in . while he still drank ,, he didnt do it as often or enough to get overloaded like he usually did .
" thank you ,," was all he could muster . servos wrapped themselves gently around your body ,, lifting you up to his facial plates so he could plant a kiss to your head . " i'm good ,, i'm ready ." he said ,, derma curling into a smile . " you look good with that suit on ,," he commented ,, digit moving up to play with your little bowtie . you raised a brow at that ,, " is that so ?" your lips formed a smirk . " should i wear this more then ?" trailcutter nodded ,, letting out a chuckle . " please ,," he pleaded gently .

also like, i think people shouldnt die. right. thats something i believe in. i think a lot of people believe in it. its something most people can get behind. were in agreement about this, generally.
i also think its insane that brightline keeps killing people and people are like “what are we gonna do about this train?” and well, to be clear, i think the answer is very simple. i dont think the train is doing anything wrong. and i know this is classic victim blaming. i try to live my life in a way that i try to understand why people do the things they do, even when the things they do seem bad or wrong or like the actions of grug the caveman. im sure no one is thinking “today i will park on the train tracks. for fun.” that said. the train is exactly where the train is supposed to be. if it was coming off the tracks id say, hey, thats crazy. get that train back on the tracks. trains arent supposed to be free roaming. but its not. you know exactly where the train is going to be. and i understand that we all make mistakes. we all make dumb decisions in the heat of the moment. i have driven a car before. i know this, fundamentally, about myself and about human nature. every person has done something and gone “well, that was fucking dumb” but they just have to live with it. hopefully. sometimes you die with it. to a certain degree, it just cant be helped. it happens. it doesnt make anyone an imbecile.
but again. the train is on the tracks. and there are those fucking. railroad crossing warning doohickeys, which were all familiar with, that say, hey, not only is this the place where the train lives, but its on its way. itll be here soon. and again, if the doohickeys werent working, id say, “hey, thats fucked up. the doohickeys didnt work. how were they supposed to know?” but if the doohickey works. well. you know the path of the train. the doohickey is warning you. you know exactly whats about to happen.
and, well, i understand, if youve always ignored the doohickeys and gone around the guards, you might be thinking you know how fast a train goes. i know this train is faster than previous trains. but i think, simply, that this should just be a lesson. for everyone that does this sort of thing. that no you dont. one day, praise be to god, there will be a train on that track that goes faster than trains previous. and you might think, surely ill know when the fast train shows up. but my warning is that you might not. sometimes people miss things. maybe its a busy news day. maybe 911 2 happens and you have to hear about that first. maybe its a busy day for you personally and you just had a 48 hour bender and you have a horrendous hangover. we dont know. sometimes new things escape us. there are people on this earth right now who think brad pitt and angelina jolie are still married. we all miss things sometimes. so my warning to you is to simply stop doing that. stop ignoring the doohickeys. its fine. its just a bit out of your life. i know life is important and time is money, but its okay. sit in your car for an extra five minutes. you can put it in park and scroll on tiktok or whatever. its not the end of the world. unlike it will be for you, when you dont notice that they put the fast trains on the tracks a few days ago and you get turned into a paste because you wanted to get home and watch the newest episode of south park or whatever. i dont want you to turn into a paste. i want you to see if they start killing kenny again.

OK HI IM THE PERSON WHO WANTED TO LEAVE A LETTER IN THAT BOYS LOCKER BUT WANTED TO DO IT ANONYMOUSLY I HAVE A MAJOR UPDATE.
ok so throughout the next few weeks of that post i chickened out multiple times thinking that i shouldnt do it and on the day of valentines my Spanish teacher gave us flowers and I thought, hey why not I have a flower now this is the perfect opportunity but I still wasn't sure and was like extremely nervous so I messaged my friends, and they practically (affectionately) peer pressured me into doing it. I made the note in the shape of a heart and found out how to fold it to make it look like an envelope and I wrote a short note basically just saying, what u like about him and I think he's special and really cute and I left the flower and the note in his locker while he was having a private lesson (were in band). I almost went back to get it, but I decided not to and afterwords I felt pretty good. A few days of passed and Friday (2/17) we were walking to our local Walgreens idk how we got to this conversation but he was like "there's some things I want to figure out before I die" and I asked what he wanted to figure out, and at first, he was really vague about it, but then he got more specific very slowly and he like mentioned he found something in his locker, and I just immediately knew he was talking about the note. Long story short, he cried happy tears after reading it, he has a picture of it on his phone and he wants to figure out who it. He said the handwriting look familiar, which is my bad because since I kept chickening out, I kind of rushed to the note at the last minute and hand wrote it instead of printing it like u said (which is why I was surprised he said he cried, because honestly after putting it in his locker I thought it was pretty cringy or cliché and kinda rushed). He also said that he has a feeling that me and my friend (we'll call them S) had something to do with it. I think this is because a few weeks before after I had told S about my crush on him S wenr to go ask him about any crushes he had. AnyWho, we moved on from the conversation after that but i did text about it later though, he thinks it was a girl (which is true) and maybe I'm looking too into it but I have a feeling he might know it's me cuz when I asked what he would do if you ever met the person who sent him the letter, he said "I guess if I know the person I could just say that I like them back" and maybe I'm looking too much into it, but that felt like a hint. All my friends think it is and think I should tell him but I don't think I'll be doing that anytime soon. Honestly I'm just happy that it made him happy says he's kind of depressed and just the fact that something I made, made him so happy that he cried just makes my heart swell.🥹🥹🥹🥹

Don't worry about not following my advice exactly, I only give it to help give people like you options or think about how They want to do things. It also sounds like you put a lot of care and thought into it even if you think it's a bit rushed.
Honestly, my instincts are to tell him! He's likely either figured it out or has a strong idea but doesn't want to be wrong.
Especially the "I'd tell them I like them back"... That feels odd to say if you don't think you know who. To me anyways.
But! If that's not what you want to do, then you don't have to push yourself. You did something incredibly nice and made him happy and you can crush away knowing that. It's entirely up to you. And as long as any decision you make feels good, that's great. And if you decide not to, you can always change your mind later.

there was a large country flag that you didnt recognize and a few godzilla posters and volleyball players decorating beside it
however, besides those normal things you wouldve expected,
there were many polaroids
polaroid pictures that were everywhere with no specific layout pattern and just placed anywhere that had room
iwa watched as you dazedly walked forward and entered the room to move towards the wall by his desk that had the most pictures against it
from pictures of him and oikawa to the third years to him and his parents or just the sunrise and human silhouettes
your fingers reached forward and traced the picture of him and the third years when they were still first years and took a spontaneous trip to the beach
‘mattsun stole his dad’s car and drove us to the beach without a license’
iwaizumi’s voice answered your questions and you looked back, shimmering eyes
this room,,, wasnt just a normal, teenage boy’s room
this was a room that represented iwaizumi hajime
from his natural character description like his love for volleyball evident in the volleyball player posters to the underneath description that was hidden like his love for godzilla and his love of taking pictures of the people he cares about the most
it was all that made up iwaizumi hajime
your feet took you to stand in front of him, still standing at the doorway, and you stood on your toes to try and be eye-level with him
‘youre really cool, iwa-san’
you whispered and his ears turned red, not from the compliment, but by the close distance between you two
iwa clearedhis throat and ruffled your hair roughly, pushing you down slightly back to the balls of your feet
‘i already knew that, brat. now go and sit over there and be comfortable or whatever while i go get the food’
he hurriedly turned to hide his growing red face but you stopped him
‘iwa-san,,, ano,,, can,, i borrow a hoodie?’
you mumbled, nervously thinking he might refuse
but he grunted a response, not bothering to turn around
‘take your pick’
you smiled and thanked him before bounding over to the wardrobe that was pushed against the wall across his bed that was against the corner by his window
inside had so many hoodies and there were also shirts that were hung up on the other half
they were all graphic tees that either had american bands or anime or game references
opting for a mint green hoodie that says ‘SONIC NYOOM’, you had an undershirt under your button up and as you slipped the bloodied long sleeve off, he swung the door open, eyes focused on the tray of coke filled glasses
then he looked up and almost dropped it at the sight of you,,, like that
‘OH MY GOD SORRY’
he shrieked and carefully but hurriedly backtracked back to the hallway
ofc you were shocked too but you quickly put the hoodie on and went to get him
iwaizumi’s heart was hammering in his chest and he was VERY red with embarrassment

okay so, im about to go ham because i truly stand strong in my shoujo fantasy.
In my opinion, im pretty sure (like 89%) lucifer tells us that whenever mammon breaks off a relationship with someone, they go broke completely after. so hes had previous relationships before, as for the rest of the boys, im pretty sure lucifer has, but nothing serious, he wont let anyone in, MC is literally the only person who has pushed past his walls and seen him for more than pride. satan, 100% he has never had a relationship, levi, has had a couple of fwbs and other relationships but they always fizzle out, never lasting. asmo has never had a serious relationship, always just flings. belphie never had a serious relationship and same with beel. i truly believe MC is their first true loves, i know what youre thinking "theyve been alive for so long, theres no way someone couldnt have been special to them" but the thing is, theyre so different with MC; their entire dynamic and relationships changed with MC, MC saw them for more than their sin and got to know them to their very core, while yes the other relationships never lasted, thats not to say the boys didnt love them; but just not in the way they love MC. i believe MC to be a true love, not just a love, the difference for me is all of the boys would gladly give up chasing MC once she finds herself happy with another brother, instead of forcing them to choose yk? the "as long as youre happy, it kills me everytime i look at you smile at him, but i love you too much to let you be miserable with me" and i dont think any of them have experienced. also, with the whole "new relationship" thing, the honey moon phase, while yes every couple has it, i feel like with MC it would just, last. not to say they wouldnt have fights; ofc they would, but its different with MC, everyday the brothers would wake up and chose the option to love and fall in love all over again, speaking further on that, i dont think any of them would truly get over MC. and i mean that; (i dont think MC is going to die, obey me devs have something planned LOL, plus theyre super powerful, like the other anon said i dont think theyd be able to really function without them, even if they do "get over" mcs death at some point.) after MC dies i feel like the family dynamic wouldnt be the same, the brothers would get quieter and would never truly forget about it? and every relationship would fail because theyre not MC (you dont have to agree but i love reverse harems), like i 100% hc that after MC chooses another brother or after they die, mammon would try and try to find new flings, even after its been decades mammon finds someone whos super similar to MC, their look, personality, etc, but one wrong move and theyre out. (say MC doesnt like pickles, but the replacement for MC does, he would immediately start crying and call mc a stupid human who he shouldnt have fallen for.) anyways in conclusion, i truly dont think MC would ever die canonically in the obey me game, the devs are sneaky (love you devs), but even if they would, i really feel like they would never get truly over it. some part of me truly believes that the brothers would go back to being distant, how they were before. they would sit at the table and eat in silence, asmo would begin partying ten times harder (since we already know he uses his ego to cover up his major insecurity of people not liking him and how he feels about himself) and the brothers would become even more indugled in their sin. also, for every relationship they would have, they would just compare them to MC, and yeah but I cannot see MC dying. the other stuff about what the brothers would be like after MC dies could also be applied to when MC chooses her s/o. i think the brothers would be super fucking hurt, that was their first love, their first understanding who walked out and chose someone who wasnt them. anyways thats all, you dont have to reply i just felt like i needed to get this off of my chest, also im gonna be pretty frequent on your blog ( i love ur writing ) so im gonna call myself cake anon! have a great day! - cake anon

I agree with the Mammon part. Out of all of the brothers, i feel he is probably the easiest to get emotionally attached in a relationship, so i see him as the one with the most previous relationships. Asmo coming in second, but his being mostly flings or poly/open relationships. I’m sure Mammon has had some serious ones as well as many flings, where Asmo’s have never been overly serious and certainly never long lasting. I’m also sure Luci has had a few, some more serious than others, but he wouldn’t get overly attached emotionally. I’m sure he’d be too busy with Diavolo since arriving, being the workaholic he is. I’m sure not many partners would be willing to deal with that level of non-commitment and emotional unavailability from him.Levi I feel like all his relationships never left that awkward early stage, and his only ‘serious’ relationships would have been strictly online, maybe a couple meetups that made him nope right out of it. Satan, again, has probably just gone on some casual dates but didn’t have much interest in actually dating rather than gaining connections. i feel like Beel is the most likely candidate to have had healthy previous relationships. He is pretty well balanced emotionally and has a good outlook on love and family values. I’m sure he’s had a few serious relationships and has dated his share of people. Belphie gives me vibes of had one or two previous serious relationships that did not end well at all and now he’s a salty sob over it lmao.
I still don’t feel like MC is necessarily their first true love, but maybe the first different kind of love for them. MC has reached them in ways no one else has, they don’t try to change anything, they fit in well with the whole family, they understand their sins etc. I have loved a few different people in my life, and each one was such a different experience for me. The first guy i loved, i consider to be my first true love. However, it didn’t work. And then i met the man I eventually married, he wasn’t my first true love, but it was a better kind of love, yk?
And uugghh you ripped my heart out with how the brothers would feel if MC chose a different brother!!!! Because they all would be so heartbroken it’s not them, but they really truly just want mc to be happy and cared for, and they know their brother would keep them safe and provide well.
A few asks ago, i mentioned that the brothers would move on eventually. I think there is a big difference in moving on and getting over that I maybe didn’t articulate very well. If MC were to die or choose someone else, they would move on eventually, but they might not ever really get over it. My heart hurts just thinking about how they would feel trying to move on. Like you mentioned, the empty, quiet dinner tables, lackluster parties and festivals, it would be like they lost their best friend. (i giggled picturing your mammon scenario with the pickle because that’s exactly how he’d react to something so small lmaooo)
I also agree that i don’t think the devs will kill mc off (again), that just seems like a really crappy way to end the game!! I’m curious to see how they would make different routes go if you can only romance one of them end game, vs you being able to have them all? I wonder if we’d get a choice in the whole becoming immortal thing or not?

danny phantom episode 4-7 Thoughts: (under a readmore because, these got kinda long!)
-the outfit danny had to buy for dash's party. CLASSIC 2000S i cannot stop laughing. And also showing up to the party and everyone is dressed like the trio is hilarious. and further proof that everyone looks good dressed goth.
-dash has a closet full of cute lil bear plushies?? LOVE that. adorable. also his response to danny trashing his room fighting a ghost was SO valid if somone BROKE MY BED IN HALF ID BE PISSED TOO.
-technus being like 'oh smart, u should be a tutor!' then later being like 'forget tutor, be a teacher!' :) supportive king <3 I also really like his upgraded suit/design. AND SPOCK CAMEO??? HELLO??
-the music in this show is super. its so funky. I looked it up and the guy who does it, guy moon (awesome name) also did music for other cartoons like fairly odd parents, barnyard, chalkzone, billy & mandy, AND some actual movies like FIGHT CLUB??? the whiplash I got from reading that)
-sam being rich explains a lot about her, actually.
-I know the moral of the episode was supposed to be 'dont ditch your friends for popular people/spend a lot of money on clothes that arent You to Fit In'. but tbh. it wouldve been easy for danny to have been like 'well, okay, ill come but only if my friends can!' but I get. that hes 14. so. not a lot to say there.

-like my only gripe is that dash really isnt LEARNING ANYTHING WHEN DANNY GETS BACK AT HIM IN THE MOST PETTY INDIRECT WAYS. whatever they had to add a bully psa episode I guess. I hate it and I hate the way cartoons usually handle it because these methods simply Do Not Work. I think danny is the most responsible out of them but also, hes 14 and shouldnt HAVE to feel obligated to fight every ghost. hes a good kid and wants to, but I also feel like he feels like...responsible for the portal turning on?? because his parents did give it up,, but it was an accident and not his fault (if anything, why was the on switch on the inside. why was it that easy. why was there no safety measures. that seems like smth OSHA needs to hear about). like thats my son. hes a good boy. and hes never done anything wrong in his life, ever. if anyone hurts him im killing everyone in this room and then myself. etc.
-danny's curfew is 10PM????? DUDE. when I was 14...shit I couldn't be out that late, I had to be back at like, 8 at the latest, and my parents had to know exactly where and who I was going with, AND i had to call/text them regularly...is this a case of my parents being overbearing, or the fentons sucking??? the only time i could EVER be out that late was if I was at an overnight sleepover or smth...

-mr. fenton knew vlad was controlling him, but a few episodes ago he had no clue danny was doing the same thing...is it something about how malicious the ghost is?? he just seemed to think his memory had gaps the first time, this time he was INSTANTLY LIKE 'GHOST'. then again in this ep when danny did it again he was just slightly confused but not immediately freaking out like he did with vlad possessing him!!

-sorta unrelated, but it just occurred to me in one of these eps they go to casper HIGH not casper middle school??? theyre 14?? dont highschools usually do ages 15-18? (I didnt go to hs so I might be wrong, if I am ignore this...) freshmen are usually 14-15, could just be a case of them not turning 15 yet but they will sometime in the school year (I say they because tucker said he was 14 too)? I know the show has 3 seasons, so by the end of it will they be older? thatd be neat but usually cartoon characters stay the same age...I love shows where you can see the characters age and grow up, though...three seasons seems like a long time to spend on like, 1 year...

This is a series of asks bc, while I do LIKE all the charas of Fantastic Beasts individually, much of the romantic pairings dont sit well with me. By that mean the messy love polygon w Newt & I think I finally figured out why & I'd like another's opinion on it. For starters, Newt's attraction with Tina is too fast for me considering he was friends w Leta, got expelled out of Hogwarts for Leta, carried Leta's photo in his case, & basically loved her for YEARS. But this is all undone by a [1]
jaunt in NY having met a woman, who he admittedly went on a huge adventure w, over the course of maybe a few weeks. He's so taken w her she replaces Leta's photo w her own &, after refusing to go to Paris for Dumbledore, leaves immediately once he finds out she's there. I just find this unbelievable. I can rationalize it from Newt's perspective where Tina is a fresh breeze sweeping into his life on (percieved) unrequited pining, but this is my conjecture based on my understanding of Newt. [2]
The audience shouldnt be left to rationalize endgame couple of the mc on their own. & the whole thing w Leta is so messily handled I dont think they can save it even if they bring her back in FB3. How she feels for Newt vs Theseus & unresolved lingering affection, etc. She & Newt were SO important to each other & we SEE that & they dont HAVE to get together, but they need proper resolution bc they have actual history between them. God Leta in general deserved so much better. [3]
But my main gripe is that this love polygon serves no purpose to what I believe is the main selling point of FB: the world. HP having love stories makes sense bc we're following the story of a boy as he goes through adolescence & his journey through that via school is part of that, which is why the romance feels fitting. It's a very personal story. FB on the otherhand is the best peak we have at the wider wizarding world beyond school. HP introduces the world of magic, but FB rlly expands it [4]
To that end Jakob & Queenie's relationship is the only one I find myself liking, bc it's deeply tied to the world setting, the series' biggest selling point (in my opinion, should have said this earlier). It underscores the attitudes of the period & the conflict they face feels suitably substantial & not like filler. There's a moral question between them of are they worth it? And how far should they go to be together?
Imma be real hear & say FB2 was rlly Queenie's movie & they should have been ballsy & just make Queenie the mc for FB2, bc her story was actually considerably more important to the overall development of the story than Newt's, which mostly came off as a rushed & a tad clichè soap drama. & making it about Queenie I think builds more room for good conflict & independent narrative for Tina that would serve her chara better. [5? 6?]
If I bad to be REAL ballsy, I'd say my big issue w/ the relationships in the FB series & how it enhances or impedes the main story & what I believe to be it's biggest attracter (the setting) could have been solved if they made Newt's romantic interest a muggle. It attaches a deeper meaning & relevance to them & the story so it felt more deeply that they truly moved WITH the narrative rather than beside it but I guess Im just picky. Yeah, pretty much all of this is right.
Regarding the Tina thing, it was definitely rushed, especially since there was literally nothing romantic between them in the whole first movie, except maybe the end part where they're stumbling over their words. Despite knowing how movies work and knowing that they were the male and female lead, I still found that completely out of left field, because they don't really share any interests and I didn't feel like they felt anything in particular for each other before that. She really wants to be an auror and feels really intensely about it; he just wants to travel the world and write about magical creatures and take care of them. I don't see a lot of compatibility there, and the movie didn't really do anything to reconcile that gap.
Jacob and Queenie made sense, because they actually sowed some seeds for it. It's not even about the fact that they both like to cook; they showed an interest in each other throughout. They noticeably like each other. Newt and Tina never really had that, to me, so it was bizarre for her to become his primary motivation in the second movie.
Queenie's trajectory in movie 2 overall bothers me, so while I agree it would have been better if they'd centered it more around her, I definitely think they needed to drastically rewrite pretty much everything she did. Enchanting Jacob at the beginning never sat well with me; I usually only have to say this in the Descendants fandom, but if one half of the ship is magical and the other half isn't, we can't have the magical one enchanting the non-magical one for romantic reasons without addressing what a violation of trust that is. Like, Jacob would be justified for never trusting her again, over that. Also, the fact that she apparently holds it against people if they think bad things about her is not something I would expect from someone who has been a Legilimens as long as she has, and not a detail I like, at all. Especially since it was used to give her justification to be mad at Jacob after she enchanted him in the first place. I find it sad, because Queenie was definitely my favorite character in the first movie. (Also, joining Grindelwald was a nonsensical thing to do. I can only assume she's there to spy on him or something, because it makes literally no sense.)
As for Leta, I really don't like how that was approached. First of all, I don't like how their mention of her in the first movie was "She was a taker; you need a giver," because once we actually met the character, that only made me resent Queenie for representing her that way. Leta deserved better in pretty much every way, and they definitely shouldn't have killed her off like that. I find the whole situation really iffy from a racial standpoint. The first black character to be written three-dimensionally in all of HP lore, and they make sure to preemptively tell the audience that she's a "taker", kill her in the same movie we meet her, and manage to trivialize her death by turning it into a little "Who was she saying 'I love you' to?" mystery. I like her relationship with Newt and Theseus, and I'd definitely want to see more of it.
Yes, it definitely would have been better, thematically, if they'd made the love interest a Muggle. (I'd honestly say they should've paired Newt with Jacob, but I know they're unwilling to do that. That would be kind of cool, though, to see the movie shaping up with two male characters and two female characters and have the men end up with each other and the women just live their lives as humans.)
With the story they ended up telling, though, I don't think that is needed; since Queenie is already dealing with the wizard/Muggle storyline, Newt could have a different conflict. Maybe his love interest should be a werewolf or something, to tie in the wizarding world's unresolved dislike for "half-breeds". And if he were in a relationship with someone already regarded as a creature, the wider wizarding world might take a different view to his studies and look down on him a lot more. Idk, a thought.
And then, with Leta/Theseus and Grindelwald/Dumbledore (if they were willing to actually deal with that), they'd pretty much hit every controversial beat they've got: wizard/Muggle, wizard/"half-breed", interracial, homosexual. Credence and Nagini are both creatures, kind of, but I still like them together, so their relationship doesn't have to tie into any theme; it just has to be developed way more.
On the whole, Crimes of Grindelwald felt like they skipped a movie. It feels like they needed a middle installment to make these relationships happen, instead of jumping from "Do Newt and Tina maybe have feelings for each other?" to "Newt loves Tina and Tina is possessive enough of Newt to be outwardly upset with him when she thinks he's engaged to someone else," and creating a whole relationship between Credence and Nagini that we see none of.
The fact that Queenie and Jacob were done well in the first movie gives me a fair amount of goodwill for them, but that goodwill only offers enough cushioning from the botching that movie 2 did that I'm near-indifferent to the ship, now, instead of actively opposed. I'd like to see things improved, but as it currently stands, I'd be just as happy seeing them end up not together as together. The fact that Leta's relationships with Newt and Theseus were more interesting than any of the aforementioned makes it that much more ridiculous that they killed her. What ship am I supposed to care about how? If I can't go into the next movie delusionally hoping Newt and Leta will get some moments, or enjoying the Theseus and Leta content, then I'll just be sitting there waiting for Credence and Nagini to share a screen, and who knows when that'll happen?

Why s5 *might* be the season MacRiley happens
Okay so...Hear me out! I'm not crazy I promise!!
Firstly, after 5x03 (and probably 5x04) it may seem very unlikely that MacRiley could ever happen. But I thought of a few reasons why they might actually happen by the end of s5 after all.... (it gets a lil long winded and kinda complicated but just stick with me till the end!)
1. All the MacRiley moments including the ones in 5x03.
[this Mac smile could not be an accident or something that slipped through both production and post-production right?! that in itself is a whole reason!]
Every Macriley moment we have ever had- whether it's the hugs, Riley saving Mac, Mac saving Riley, the ultimate show of loyalty when Riley went after Mac during Codex or even just the looks exchanged between the two- to any outsider it would seem pretty obvious that they are dating or at least in love. Keep in mind the writers would have written each of those scenes and Lucas and Tristan have acted them out with a specific build up in mind aka MacRiley.(think about the date episode: Riley just got dumped but was still thinking about how Mac might be hungry. She didnt have to do that. She could have just shown up at his place..) I mean how can they write two people so perfectly in sync and so perfect for each other and not have them end up together? It would just be a waste of all that tension and slow burn. (not to mention all the hugs and glances)
2. They know we exist.
The MacRiley fam is very active on twitter with the writers and while they were writing 5x01 they knew we were around. They know we are a huge group. They would not want to risk pissing 90% of the fandom off by not making MacRiley endgame.
[P.S.yes 5x03 was a bait and switch but if you were paying attention you would have noticed that neither Lucas not Tristan live tweeted or hyped up the episode. They knew we would probably hate it so they didnt publicise it too much! so in the future if you have doubts about the episode being a MacRiley one just check their stories or posts on twitter/intstagram]
3. Yes 5x03 happened.
I really think it was an episode they HAD to write. Ok so after 4x13 they had 7 more episodes planned and were filming 4x20 (aka the finale) when the pandemic struck. So they have these 6 episodes but no finale for it. [Idk if anyone else has noticed but in 5x01 there were clearly some parts cut out. For example the conversation between Desi and Riley towards the end seemed a bit jilted. Riley asking Desi to forgive her but Desi replied with yeah we are cool (still no apology ofc) I feel like something happened during that which ended up getting cut out so it could fit with the final story.]
This makes me think that they have rewritten a few bits to tie into the new finale episode. In 5x03 when Mac asked Desi to come fishing with him which was clearly something very personal to him she was like no do better.. then we see Mac's disappointed expression. She could have easily said okay but maybe not for our first date? Or its not really my thing? Or just about anything else rather than laughing in his face like that. Eventhough MD is together they still arent compatible. Mac’s final words in 5x03 was him being desperate. I truly think he is so broken and lost that Desi is the only safe thing left, the only thing he feels like he can fix right now. Once he finds himself again and heals...then it's going to hit him like a pile of bricks!!
4. But Riley doesn't have feelings anymore...WELL doesnt she?
When it comes to Mac, Riley is always in denial. We saw it in s4 when she tells Bozer not to make her say it. I think s5 will show her finally accepting it. Finally accepting that she is in love with her best friend and that it definitely isnt Codex adrenaline because she caught the feels when Codex wasnt even around. While Mac's arc would include realising he and Desi are never going to work and that he is unhappy and that RILEY is the one for him.
[why else would they give Riley feelings for Mac? Something has to come of it.]
5. The slow burn rule.[this point is a lil complicated]
Now season 5 is rumoured to have 13 episodes. So here’s what I think: If MacGyver follows the pattern that most shows do when it comes to slow burns, then technically MacRIley should have happened at the end of season 4. But since the season got cut short and they didnt get to air/finish their final episode the writers had to improvise.
From what I know, 4x19 which is 5x04 for us is the episode where Mac meets Desi’s parents and 4x20 was supposed to be the finale that was left unfinished.(they are definitely moving the timeline ahead if a pre finale episode is suddenly a mid season one.) There might have been a 4x21 or 4x22 but I haven't heard anything about those....EVER.
So what I think they have decided to do instead is extend the MD storyline a bit longer just so they dont end up scrapping all their s4 episodes where they would be together and write a new finale that ties everything together, aka MacRiley.
If you think about episode counts, s4 and s5 together would have 26 episodes which is a how long a normal season runs. Basically what im trying to say is if we follow the ‘slow burns end by s4’ and take season 5 as an extension of 4 then MacRiley should get together in the season 5 finale or maybe the episode just before. (IM REALLY TRYING TO GET SOME LOGIC INTO THIS)
This would be a typical TV thing too where the couple finds out about each other’s feelings while the main arc of the show is also at its peak, which perfectly sets up a future season where fans are hyped but still has a satisfying ending.
6. So what about MacDesi?
So far the macgyver writers have given us characters we love. Think of every character on the show apart from maybe Desi... Mac, Riley, Bozer, Jack, Matty, Leanna, Samantha, Russ and even Murdoc. WE LOVE EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM. So then why is Desi such a strange character? I think shes purposely been written as an opposite to Mac or even Riley (I get she’s supposed to kinda replace Jack but Jack is really irreplaceable).
It's not necessarily a bad thing its just not a great thing to do or have great execution. People have said things like Desi is a badass and shouldnt have to apologise or say I love you back to her boyfriend because she is a strong woman...I'm sorry but your opinion of who a strong woman is, is EXTREMELY skewed. A strong woman is someone who can make mistakes and when she does, she is ‘strong’ enough to own up to it, she is loyal and fierce and also caring while being a badass who can take down bad guys. And for GODS SAKE, RILEY DAVIS IS A STRONG WOMAN...people have called her mushy and feminine on twitter and I'm just very confused by that.....
Anyways before I go off on a rant, it seems like Desi is intentionally being written this way. Every opportunity they get to redeem her and make her more relatable or just a better person they just dont take it. While Rileys character arc is one of the best I've ever seen. Either its intentional or they’ve forgotten how to write characters...which is worrisome but ill give them the benefit of the doubt.
The writers also know we dont like Desi. The amount of times we've tagged them in the toxic posts or pointed out problematic things we can be sure they've seen at least half of those. So theres no way they dont know. RIGHT?
So why then is MD still a thing you may ask??
Well for one they cant break them up again off screen because of those unreleased s4 episodes. (not to mention the other parts of the audience who arent as invested in mac’s love life would probably be very confused.)
Secondly Mac has to be the one to pull the plug, not Desi. 4x13 made it seem like Desi was the annoyed one not Mac. He apologised to her which meant he wanted to fix things.
Thirdly, they are opening the chpt one last time before they permanently close it. MD is going to be a stark contrast to macriley(it already is in every way possible). Every issue Mac and Desi had can be used to show how amazing macriley really is as two people who arent even dating yet.
Fourthly, MD being together is a sort of commentary on Macs mental health as well. We can see how happy he is with Riley but around Desi he becomes some one else. If the writers are doing this on purpose or subconsciously still remains to be seen.
And Yes keeping MD around for a few more episodes seems like a necessary risk right now but I have a feeling its going to be worth it later.
[I know we have had like 4 desi entered episodes already but I really think 5x04 will be the last of it since 5x05 is the Jack episode and 5x06 is Mac+Riley+Bozer episode with no mention of Desi at all!]
The writers know we are a dedicated bunch and they know that once MD breaks up for the last time the entire fandom will be waiting and watching. That's when the show will be at its peak. That will be the perfect moment to bring in MacRiley’s arc to a new start!

ML AU: In Another Life: NY Special
(So a few things to note, Since this takes place after the events of this version of the season 3 Finale, there are a few key differences. Fu still being guardian is one of them)
-Gabriel finds himself on the back foot, without a fixed peacock miraculous, he needs something to boost his advantage over the teens. And at the rate Nathalie has been going, he might lose her as well.
-While desperately searching the book, he caught notice of the eagle miraculous, it looked very familiar. (He comes up with his plan to go to New York to get that miraculous), well thats how he realizes his plan that is in canon. But this version is clearly more desperate. He needs to know what it can do and how to use it.
-Marinette’s class kicks but with their sock puppet show and pretty much the set up for how the class is going to America is the same. Including Miss Bustier’s reason for not going.
-Adrien is bummed because there is no way he would be able to go on the trip, not with how strict his father is. Lila tries to cheer him up, saying she couldnt go either (cause in canon reason is the same)
-Marinette states that she will try talking to Adrien’s father, she seems to have a slightly higher opinion of her, its worth a shot. “Afterall, your our sock washington.” She says with a flirty smile.
-Adrien has heart eyes over his cute girlfriend.
-Marinette and company go ready to convince Gabriel to let adrien go.
-Marinette gives a convoluted speech similar to canon, but minus the extra bits of friendship.
-Gabriel complies, saying that she convinced him.
-Marinette is over the moon and immediately texts her boyfriend who is at fencing practice the good news
-Adrien gets his butt kicked by kagami just like in canon.
-Kagami tries cheering him up by saying they could use this time to practice and she can help beat the sad out of him if he wants.
-He checks his phone and is excited. He can go on the trip!
-He tells Kagami the good news, she congratulates him. But comments she will be bored without him here to fence.

-Marinette Calls Fu and tells him about her trip to New york, and that her whole class is going.
-”Your entire class?”
-”Yes, even Adrien. Can you believe it? His father never lets him go.” She is over the moon.
-Fu notes to remember that.
-”Well dont worry about Paris. If anything happens, I will be sure to alert you and Chat noir. You will have the horse miraculous on your person.”
-”I am sure Chat noir will be able to handle things here. I will let him know I am leaving. You could use a break.”
-Fu remembers that Ladybug doesnt know that Adrien, her boyfriend, is actually Chat noir.
-”I will tell Chat noir about the departure. You enjoy your trip.”
-”Alright, if you are sure.”

-Fu decides to meet with chat noir.
-Fu contacts Adrien to meet him at a rooftop.
-”Ladybug wont be in paris?” Chat noir was shocked. (He was so happy to be leaving for the US with his friends and Girlfriend, he actually forgot that Ladybug is marinette and that means she wont be in Paris. And that HE wont be in paris.”
-”Right, and I have a feeling you wont be in Paris either. Your class is having a trip.”
-Adrien doesnt bother asking how he knows that. He assumes Marinette told him.
-”Wait, If Ladybug or I are not in paris...”
-”Dont worry, i will alert you both should anything happen. Ladybug has the horse miraculous on her. If she is close by, she can give you a ride, if not. Your astro form should be able to fly you back to Paris fast enough to get there.”
-Chat noir nods. He cant say he knows she will be close by. But he does know.
-Ladybug doesnt contact Chat noir about the trip, because there is no need to burden him over it.

-Marinette isnt late, because Adrien had G come pick her up with him.
- So they have some cute handholding as Marinette excitedly talks about going to new york.
-Once they get on the Plane, Marinette and Adrien sit next to each other. So we get Startrain 2.0. With them sleeping on the other, and being cute. No musical plane tickets.
-Alya and Nino are happy for the two of them, commenting that they are still so innocent. But they have no plans on pushing them
-Marinette and Adrien both end up needing to get up and they catch the sunset together. Cue cute almost kiss. But then Techno pirate ruins it.
-The United heroes step in to handle things just like in canon. Marinette and Adrien both internally relieved that they can relax and let other heroes handle things.
-The two enjoy a nice flight to the states

-Fu may have called Marianne to help him keep an eye out in the city. She was happy to have an excuse to see fu. It was like a date for them.
-Meanwhile, Marinette and class arrive at the hotel. Aeon comments that Adrien and Marinette are perfect for eachother. Jess doesnt care.
-Chloé isnt depressed as she was in canon, so she isnt dismissive of Sabrina having fun with an american boy. In fact, she decides that she would be more positive. Trying to be the heroine ladybug said she could be. Though... being nice is hard. Alix comments that she looks constipated
-Sabrina is so happy that Chloé is supportive of her. It was a surprise change.
-Chloé was still not thrilled about rooming with Alya and Marinette. But says its fine. Alya is kind of creeped out by Chloé's more ‘Friendly’ attitude. Marinette says that they should still encourage it.
-The class sneaks out to go to the roof party. Marinette and Adrien end up in Aeon and Jess room.
-”Im marinette and this is Adrien.” “Im her boyfriend”
-Aeon is VERY happy to hear that. Jess is indifferent, but helps them both get to the roof.
-The class has fun and Hotdog dan arrives with his magical dogs of hotness.
-Marinette and Adrien have no trouble sharing the hot dog. Alya still a pro wing woman, totally gets Jess to play the song.
-Marinette is 100% down with dancing. Commenting that she remembers that dance.
-Adrien thanking Marinette for convincing his dad, and that she is so amazing. She is practically melting.
-”You’re the perfect girlfriend.”
-Marinette happy giggling and telling him he is such a cute dork.
-Yes there is a kiss under the moonlight.

-Next day, the class is at the museum. Aeon knows Jess ships it too, cause she admits they are adorable. There is no need for an elaborate plan, so they dont have the class do the thing.
-Gabriel sets his plan into motion.
-Fu see’s robustus and texts Marinette. Allowing her to move. Adrien notices her sudden rush and figures there is trouble.
-Ladybug transforms in private and uses unify with the horse miraculous to make a portal to paris. Chat noir calls out to her. Which surprises her.
-”Wait, why are you in new york?”
-”Its cool, I cleared it with Fu before I left.”
-Ladybug sorta does the same thing she did in startrain and just rolls with it, just commenting how lucky he is that they were both near eachother, and that if he is leaving paris, he should tell her. Chat noir agrees.
-They get to Paris and start fighting Robustus, who they realize shouldnt be here, because Markov is in New york.
-Meanwhile, Technolizer, takes the sword and Sparrow and Uncanny Valley hear the commotion. They dont see Ladybug and Chat noir being independent, so they dont try to strike out on their own, they do the responsible thing and call for back up, Then try to fight him.
-Ladybug and Chat noir are in Paris fighting Robustus, and trying to find his weakness. But after a bit, Robustus just vanishes. Confusing the two. ladybug uses her Lucky charm to fix the damage, and then they get a portal to head back. Ladybug and Chat noir head back. Ladybug is mad suspicious over the sudden monster that seemed like all for nothing.
-Ladybug and Chat noir arrive to see the damage to the museum. Hawkmoth had successfully snatched the Eagle necklace thanks to the distraction from Technolizer. He is able to help the villain escape from the heroes, who were having a tougher time with the beefed up villain (until Majestia got more serious)
-Ladybug telling chat noir that if there is trouble to contact her, and she would do the same. Something is up with Hawkmoth.
-Hawkmoth has the eagle miraculous. He finds out the power of the miraculous is to liberate people. Which doesnt sound as useful to hawkmoth as he would like, but he gets a plan. He reakumatizes Techno Pirate.
-The events left New york damaged, but the heroes were not angry at ladybug and Chat noir since they have NO idea why Techno pirate got an upgrade.
-Marinette and Adrien went to catch up with the class. Where a car arrives for Adrien. Commenting that he clearly made a mistake letting him come.
-Marinette didnt stand by and say nothing (since she wasnt depressed or downtroden) she told Gabriel that she should let him stay. That the heroes would protect him, and that she would be by his side.
-Adrien also sided with Marinette. Gabriel was shocked, and angry that his son would Dare disobey him (which stirs the seeds on why he would use Marinette as a tool for an akuma at a later time). Gabriel gives one more stern command but Adrien is determined to stay. (plus he wasnt bummed about everything either so that helped his confidence)
-Jess and Aeon wanted to go with the heroes to help find technolizer but Civillian Majestia and Knightowl said that they needed them to stay here to protect the tourists. Which made them want to prove themselves.
-Cue the Hawkmoth’s plan using The akuma techno pirate with the eagle miraculous.
-Jess and Aeon notice that things are going wrong. Marinette and Adrien both realize it as well and sneak out to go help.
-Aeon realizes that Chat noir and Ladybug are Adrien and Marinette (because she is tech and is immune to that glamor effect. And is of course is even MORE stoked on them. The four of them meet up and work on the plan thats the same as in canon, (using the door hero’s power)
-The fight pretty much goes the same way as in canon, and Hawkmoth is actually pissed off instead of happy that there are more miraculous. Nathalie is now worse off then before. He is now even More desperate since his plan failed.
-Majestia and Knightowl are proud of their side kicks and Jess/eagle gets to be a hero in her own right. Proving her worth. Uncanny valley is her partner.
-Uncanny valley tells them she knows who they are and that she will clear the memories so that no one will know. Jess gets the eagle miraculous. (Marinette tells Fu about this, Fu says its fine. It isnt from his miraculous box, not his jurisdiction.)
-Marinette and Adrien enjoy the rest of the trip with the class. Marinette commenting to adrien how amazing all these heroes are.
-”I think you are much more amazing Marinette.”
-Cue adrinette cuteness
-Gabriel goes back to america, angry and now so much more desperate then before

JuJutsu Kaisen school headcanons
“some jjk school headcanons? not with a reader or anything but just how itadori and the other first years are in school?”-anon
This was pretty fun! Each character is pretty short but it still turned out longer than it needed to be oops.
So we all know that theres a proper private school to teach upcoming shamans. Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College...thats a long ass name no wonder i didn’t remember it. But in the manga and anime, they dont exactly go into details of what they do for the school(i might be completely wrong just lemme know)
In the yuuta 4 chapter story, we kinda get a glimpse
Gojo is one of the few teachers and he teaches first years in a small classroom. i dont know what exactly he teaches but sometimes they go outside to train and well when yuuta and the others were training i forget if he was actually teaching anything. Like he gave him a sword to help with his powers and gave a brief explanation but thats about it.
Anyways.
Itadori Yuji:
Is late to class for the first couple days since he doesn’t remember the lay out of the campus
Its so huge for so little people
Sometimes he’s late just cause he slept in
doesnt really understand whats going on
He only just recently learned this world existed so of course he’s out of the loop with everything
he probably naps in class alot or spaces out
‘If i were to feed sukuna’s mouth on my hand...where would the food go? What would happen? How deep does it go? What the hell has my body become??’
As his thoughts continue to derail, gojo would call on him and he might yell in response
he often asks megumi or nobara for help but they just dis him or ignore him
He tries to study! He really does! But he gets distracted and loses focus quite easily
during training he gets super excited thinking hes going to unlock abilities
but thats quickly shot down and hes usually just forced to do something really mundane like run laps or jumping jacks
He might get another dummy to help control his cursed energy while gojo does his best to annoy him (honestly it doesnt take much for gojo to be annoying)
believes everything gojo says
The blindfolded teacher definitely uses that to his advantage
“if you lick this rock it might help your overall abilities” “...really?” “are you doubting your sensei?” “is that...mud?” “Its just part of the rock. Besides you ate a rotten old finger for power im sure you can deal with a little bit of dirt”
He got sick for a week
Fushiguro Megumi:
Hes the kid who sits by the window and just stares out of it the whole class
He finds gojo’s teaching style incredibly annoying
Yes he learns stuff but because of the way Gojo teaches it, he ends up doubting all the knowledge he knew before in the process
Probably does well on tests or whatever homework their assigned
This kid probably makes himself a neat little bento for lunch
During lunch Yuji saw it and asked if he could have one next time instead of always buying food
He rejected his request for a while
But eventually he decided ‘why not its not like it would take that much more effort’
Nobara saw and was like “oh so you made one for a dunce like him but not me?”
Queue a large sigh
Within a month or two he makes everybody lunch (gojo included because he got tired of him always coming by and swiping a bit of food from everyone)
During training he pets his animals quite a bit
When gojo demonstrates a new self defense technique, megumi always gets picked to help demonstrate
110% of the time it ends up with his face being smeared into the floor
Wont ever admit it but he kinda enjoys class with yuji and nobara
Kugisaki Nobara:
Pretty short since i don’t quite know her character that well sorry
I feel like shes a mix of passing but also failing idk
Like during some tests she’d pass with flying colors and without a doubt will show off to the boys
But in other things she’d completely flunk
Draws little doodles in the corner of her notes and thinks about her childhood friend
During training she dislikes learning hand to hand combat
Mainly because she knows shes not capable of beating yuji and that ticks her off
So instead she beats him with her rubber mallet when given the chance
When yuji asks her to join him and megumi, she often complains or makes sassy comments but she never really ignores them
If she wanted to she could just hang by her self but she enjoys being with the two
Gojo Satoru:
This guy never shows up on time
Once he almost did so he simply turned around and decided not to show up at all
He doesn’t necessarily dislike teaching, but he finds giving detailed explanations kinda boring
‘I just told you what would happen, so why are you asking for a reasoning of the reaction’
He wants his students to have a fun teenage life so he often cuts class short by an hour or two just to hang out or go out
He explains how to counter certain types of curses or what to do in some scenarios pretty well
Gojo tries to teach regular stuff like math or history but...i dont know actually
Im not sure if he would happily teach it or just give up after a couple problems
I have a feeling he might just randomly give stupid hard problems and laugh as the first years struggle and fail to solve it
If any of his students do well on a test he’ll give them a small treat
And it may be small for him but its probably hella expensive
I mean he literally just wears clothing that is a couple thousand dollars each
His socks are most likely worth more than my house and everything inside it
Theres probably a small rule book of what he’s supposed to say and what hes not supposed to say
So just to piss the old man off he says everything he shouldnt
He encourages stupid behavior and absoluetly loves it when Yuji and Nobara thanks him for getting treats

I've been 0retty inactive the past few days (*cough*weeks*cough*). I've been having exams and shit but my last ones tommorow so I'll be back up and running in no time.
I also wanted to give yous the link to the promised Wattpad oneshot story. It only has three parts right now but like I said, after tommorow I'll be free
Anyway in the mean time, let's imagine a Eurovison Winterspider headcanon

Bucky is competing for Romania while Peter is competing for Poland (I didn't want to go with the classic Tom Holland Britain)
Bucky has been trained for this practically his whole life, coached from the age of 7 after being discovered by a famous producer.
Peter on the other hand is just naturally gifted. One minute he's on the streets of Krakow singing his heart out and then he's being shipped off to Italy for the EuroVision song contest
Bucky and Peter both meet in the hall outside their dressing rooms, and they instantly hate eachother
Literally can't stand one another
Tony, Peters dad had to come and separate them after Peter threatened to jump Bucky once
The day of taht they need to perform their first song comes, and they're both secretly hoping the other fails and gets kicked
But there's no such luck
Instead, they find themselves mesmerised by eachother performance
Bucly thinks that Peter sings with the voice of a thousand angels cascading down on him, he swears he got lifted away.
Peter also thinks Buckys amazing. The gruff of his voice adding a nice bit of depth to his song. He might be in love, he thinks. Peter quickly shakes the thought from his head
By the time the second show comes along, both have realised that they are in love with the other. But they're so oblivious to the fact that the other likes them too.
People have started making bets
Shuri and MJ, the violinists in Oeters band may or may not have started it
One night Peter is leaving his hotel room, going over some lyrics for his next show without looking where hes going. Suddenly he bumps into a wall and falls.
The wall also falls
It moves as well
Maybe it's not a wall
He looks up to quickly apologise when he sees Bucky about to do the same.
"Hi" Peter says, suddenly realising how close they are
"Hi to you too"
"Um, not to be rude but you knee is kind of, um, you know" Peter gestures down to where Buckys knee is in between his legs, a blush spreading across his cheeks
Bucky just smirks and starts to grind a bit against his crotch
"I'm afraid I don't quite understand what your meaning. I'm quite comfortable" Buckys thick Romanian accent runs through him
'Jezus, he had to choose now to do that?" Peter can fell his crotch start to grow in his joggers
He had to wear those today, didn't he?
Bucky suddenly stops and stares down at Peter
Peter stares back
Slowly they start to lean in and they're lips collide
Sparks fly
The buzzing of the fireflys fades away
It feels so right
Things quickly escalate and now Peter and Bucky are lying in one of their beds, sweaty and tired out
"Hej, why don't we play 20 questions?"Peter asks out of the blue
"Sure doll, you go first"
"Um, how is your, um, oh I know! How is your English so good?"
"My father is American, I go see him every few years but it is hard with me not wanting to leave my mama, you know?"
"Yeah, I kind of get you. Your turn"
"Ok, how is YOUR English so good?"
"My mama is polish qnd my father is British, I grew up in both countries. My parents are still together but my family is all over the place. I guess I just was bound to pick it up. Ok now my turn, um, when did you first realise you might like me?"
"Honestly, since the moment I saw you. Until you opened your mouth"
"Oh zamkni się" Peter tackles him and starts to kiss all over his face
One thing lwads to another and I think you know what happens next
A few weeks past
The day of the finals finally came
Peter and Bucky are officially dating (in secret) for 2 weeks now and couldnt be happier.
Peter is getting warmed up in his dressing room when he feels arms wrap around him from behind
"Hej doll"
He spins round in his lovers arms and captures his lips in his own, enjpying the feeling if being so close
"Shouldnt you be getting warmed up?"
"Already have darling, just need to stick my shirt on in s second and Ill be ready"
"Oh, um. Well, Im really scared Jamie. Like shotting bricks scared"
"Oh darling, you don't have to be scared, i lo -" An automated voice suddenly cuts him off
"Can Romania please make his way to stage 1. 5 minute call"
"Well thats me doll, good luck" Bucky kisses his lips quickly before running out the room
"Good luck babe!" Peter bearly manages to shout back
Peter fixes his outfit. Its kind of like a mixture of Damianos outfit from last year and Harry Styles. Black leather dungarees paired with a shimmery pink top. He looks good, st least that's what Bucky said
Suddenly a bright light emits from the small TV in the corner, causing Peter to turn to it
There standing on screen looking absolutely gorgeous is his boyfriend, who lied about that shirt. He stood tgere in black pants and huge angel wings on his back
The first note from the piano hit and the voice of angels filled the small dressing room
Peter quickly decided to sprint from the room to stage 1, the song following him through the halls.
He got there in record time, and there he was. Bucky was there singing his heart out
A tear came to Peters eye. But it was there as sson as ot was gone. The last high note sounded and Bucky said his thanks.
And it had finshed
A man was suddenly on Peter, pushing him onto the stage just as Bucky walked off. They made eye contact briefly before Peter stumbled on
The bright lights h8t him first
This was really happening
Shuri gave him a thumbs up, which he retyrned, before she played the first note
Then he was off
He started singing in instinct, beautiful voice fillinv the stadium
And before he knew it, he was hittibg the last note and collapsing to the ground, all wron out
Thats when he felt strong arms wrapped around him, soft lips on his neck and the scent of bucky surrounding him
He was safe
Tired
and most importantly, with his lover
Bucky and Peter both somehow toed in first
First time it ever happened
After Eurovison, they both went back to their own countries
Peter spending some quality time with his father Tony and Mama Steve
Bucky suprised him a month later by showing up with a bag full of clothes
They dated for 3 more years before tieing the knot
Peter gave birth to twins the following year.
He always used to think nothing good could coem from hate, he guesses he was wrong

As a manga reader, can we like... stfu (tl:dr at the end)(ep 5 spoilers)
I mean, Norman was a fan favorite, I can get why they'd bring him back so early. Am I happy about it? Hell no, but I can kinda get it. Should we be recommending anime only watchers to read the manga? Sure, as long as we arent being aggressive with it or saying its the only way to enjoy the series. Are we allowed to talk shit on the anime and be upset? Fuck yea, we were very much cheated.
Should we be actively discouraging people from watching the anime simply cause we don't like the direction or feel its worse than the manga? No. Stfu. Let them enjoy their shit
Of course I'm upset but we have to remember that not everyone reads the manga. Not everyone feels the same. From the looks of it, anime watchers that aren't letting manga readers ruin their experience are extremely happy about this. Im not saying all anime watchers are happy. Many are confused (rightfully so, a lot of worldbuilding is missing), but some are happy about this. Let them enjoy this moment. Plus, reading ain't for everyone. Forcing people to only read the manga/shitting on those who don't is a very asshole move to do (and lowkey ableist but thats a whole different rant)
Manga readers for certain fandoms can be some elitist assholes and yall are very much borderlining on that label. Hell, yall dont realize how much shit you guys have spoiled or ruined for anime only watchers unintentionally. Certain jokes are funny and dont really spoil anything (vague joking about the ending being sad, making fun of the fish scene, etc)
(Manga spoiler) A big one I can think of is the yuugo reveal. Did we all just collectively forget that his name was only revealed like a few chapters after he died??? And just learning his name was a BIG thing too from what i remember!!! It wouldnt have had that impact on anime watchers. Why? Cause yall been shouting his name all over the general tag without spoiler warnings or anything. ()
At this point, im trying to be positive but I feel like theyre gonna black butler or tokyo ghoul this(both of which i havent read the manga :) ). Im just treating it as a spin off or completely different show with similar characters at this point. I dont think theyre gonna cut out everything completely (there's little hints of manga characters scattered a bit thoughtout the opening song) but we shouldn't expect the same character development at this point. Sad move yea but yk 🤷🏾♀️ youre allowed to not watch it, just dont be an asshole about it
Tbh, I feel like if we're gonna shit on the show, we might as well do it in a whole different tag now cause yall dont know how to act in the general tpn tag 🖕🏾 go get yourself together
Tl:dr - Despite the changes and disappointment manga readers are having, we shouldnt be actively discouraging people from watching it. Youre allowed to shit on it ir stop watching but yall are on thin ice because a lot of you have turned into some manga elitist assholes and youre not fun to interact with
