ੈ♡˳·˖✶ — GOJO x FEM READER
Gojo's a brat.
wc — 1k
tags —  been reading a lot of shoujo manga lately which is its own warning, jealous Gojo spoiling reader
Tumblr media
Snap.
You hiss between your teeth, annoyed and barely restraining yourself from murder. The sting of the elastic jolts you out of your studies, but after a quick break to glare at the headache sitting next to you, you dive right back into your work. Patience is one of your strong suits. It’s why Yaga worked so hard to steal - in his words, ‘recruit’ - you from the Kyoto campus. Someone has to set a good example for the kids. He knows it’s not going to be Gojo.
Speaking of-
Snap.
This time, you feel the brush of his cold fingers against your skin as well. You yelp in shock, both at the sudden change in temperature and at the way your skin smarts. Gojo takes a break from his triple sized blue raspberry slushee to laugh at you hysterically, clutching his sides. It’s not even that funny. You wish all kinds of illnesses on him with fervor.
One more time. Just one more time, you promise yourself, and you’ll-
Snap goes the hair tie on your wrist against your skin.
You don’t even let him withdraw his fingers before you leap over the chair to punish him.
“You little punk,” you snarl, catching his collar in your hand and throttling him with it. It’s a rare day where he’s wearing business casual, which he doesn’t even do for meetings with the elders.
“I’m older than you,” he says. “Gotta respect your elders.”
“Yeah? I’ll show you respect!”
You’re already reaching out to pinch his cheek, only to come into contact with infinity. This comes with the realization that he must have had it turned off earlier, if you could have choked him. Why does the thought make you happy?
“Men don’t like women who are so high strung,” he teases.
“Tell that to my roster of Hinge dates,” you snort (lying through your teeth). You’re admittedly popular, but you’ve stopped seeing anyone in recent months for a reason you don’t want to explore further. That’s a stone you’re willing to leave unturned.
“Oh, yeah?” You can only tell his voice is just slightly huskier because you spend so much time with him these days that you can catch the slight changes in his mood. It’s for lesson plans, of course.
That doesn’t stop you from swallowing hard. Jealousy looks good on him. He had the kind of looks that could drive women crazy, but combined with his unfiltered attention on you? It was a difficult to fight the urge to provoke him further.
“Yeah. As for me, I don’t like men who are a pain in the ass,” you smooth down his collar once you realize you’ve still been holding it.
The tension breaks. Gojo never stays serious for long. You’ve only caught fleeting glimpses of the god that lurks within his skin, trapped and turbulent.
“Aw, come on. I’m not so bad, am I? Can I make it up to you?”
“Depends,” you sniff, highlighting a important sentence in your textbook. You’ll have to remember that for class later. Nobara had asked about it. You should really tell him to go away, he’s distracting you so much, but you rarely do tell him off no matter what he does.
“I happen to have a reservation-“
So that explains why he’s dressed so nicely, though you wouldn’t put it past him to show up to Michelin star restaurants in sweatpants and get his way. You have to remind yourself not to get excited that he’s doing this for you. If you do, you lose.
“Happen to, is it? What if I don’t want your leftovers?”
“Don’t be that way,” he wheedles. “I’ll pay for everything.”
“As if I was going to.”
“I’ll pick you up.”
“You can do better than that,” you retort. This is almost fun, like negotiating with Yaga to raise your salary. Utahime thinks there’s something wrong with you for enjoying workplace politics so much, but maybe that’s why you can tolerate Gojo’s company so well when no one else can. You have to be a little crazy to put up with him.
“Hmm,” he says. You see right through him. He’s only pretending to think. In fact, every second of this conversation was predetermined. It’s all part of a bit you’ve done before. “Last offer, then. You can max out my card getting ready.”
And your answer, therefore, is also already prepared. You don’t even deign to give him one, simply holding out your hand.
“Who says I’m giving it to you?” Gojo’s eyes sparkle. He’s being particularly difficult today, so much so you’re tempted to just slap him across his pretty face so you can kiss the hurt away afterwards. He’d like that, though. “Don’t you need someone to carry your bags?”
This is the game he likes to play, messing with you so he can apologize with extravagant gifts. Just once, you wish he could be straightforward about it. You’re not bragging, but everyone knows he likes you. It would make everyone’s life easier if he could just be mature about it, but instead, Gojo insists on acting like a teenager with a crush.
Whatever. You can put up with it for a while longer. You’re not particularly opposed to this situation. He spoils you with attention and lavish gifts; you spoil him by being the only one who can tolerate him.
Besides, you’re keeping secrets too, a big one that Utahime had whispered to you the other day over lunch. She had been so excited to have something to hold over Gojo that she hadn’t even registered the look on your face when she told you.
The other reason Yaga tried so hard to steal you from Kyoto?
Gojo asked him for a favor.

Teasing (w.m)
Wanda x Fem Reader
GirlxGirl
Just a little update to keep the book up to date if anyone has any requests messages me and I'll do my best for you also going for infinity war era for wanda incase your trying to picture it
Y/ns POV:
"Tony how long till we can leave we've been here 20 minutes and not been informed about anything" I complain to Tony as Nat and Clint both agree with me "yeah tony y/ns right can we hurry this up" Nat says as I lean over to give her a high five eventually he starts to explain that there's an upcoming mission something to do with hydra but I stopped listening 10 minutes ago but I'll get Nat or Clint to fill me in later my thoughts are on my girlfriend of 3 years wanda Maximoff she's been acting all bratty and needy rolled into one this morning she clung onto me in the shower literally just wrapped her arms around me and cuddled into my chest but I have to admit she's so fucking adorable when she's clingy, I feel my phone buzz and slide it out of my pocket and look at it under the table, speaking of wanda and she texts she knows I'm in a meeting.
Witchy❤️: Baby its so lonely up here without you I miss you
Me: Babe ill be up soon Tony's filling us in on the up coming mission I miss you too
I can't help but smile at her instant replies damn she's fast
Witchy❤️: But I really miss you *image attached*
My mouth instantly goes dry as I stare at the picture on my screen wanda laying butt naked legs spread with her fingers inside her I can't help but get aroused at the sight fuck me she's sexy
Me: Wanda why are you being so naughty you know I'm in a meeting with our team mates and friends and it's not fair to tease me 😈
I grab my water and take some to try and cool down as my phone buzzes on my thigh
Witchy❤️: I'm not teasing baby I would never do that while your sat with all our friends *image attached*
Fuck me I swear I'm gonna fuck her into next week this bitch thinks it's funny as the image pops up with her biting her lip giving the camera her fuck me eyes while she has a vibrater inside her soaking wet cunt I start to shift uncomfortably in my seat as my wetness is very much known
Me: Wanda I swear when this is done I'm going to fuck you into next week I'll make sure you can't walk, I'll make sure you forget what words are I'll make sure  the only name that you do remember is mine 😌
I smirk and slide my phone into my pocket and look up "hey Tony I don't feel so good mind If I go lie down and you can fill me in later" he sighs and nods "ok go get some rest I need you on top form for this mission" I get up and quickly walk out the meeting room and run straight upstairs swinging our shared bedroom door open "oh youre in big trouble" wanda looks at me a little startled as i walk over to her "y/n I um I thought you where in the meeting you shouldn't be done for another hour" she states trying to act all innocent "oh honey Tony bought the oh I feel ill lie" I smirk as I start to remove my clothes "on your hands and knees get that ass up for me baby give me the perfect view of that sweet cunt" once I have my clothes off I go to the closest and grab the strap and harness up I rub a little lube over it as I walk to the bed climbing up I quickly leave a sharp slap to her ass "such a naughty girl, and naughty girls don't get to cum" all I hear is a whimper "baby no please I'm sorry please fuck me till I cum" she begs making me smirk "oh you will cum eventually when I see fit" I rub the fake cock through her wet folds groaning at the sight before I sink deep inside her with one fast thrust as she let's out a loud moan and arches her back "fuckkkkk y/n oh fuckk" I reach my hand round and start to tease her clit as I begin to thrust slowly enjoying the sounds of her moans after a few minutes of slow thrusts I start to pick up my pace as the harness rubs against my clit just right making me moan loudly "mmmmh fuck wanda so wet listen to the sweet sounds your pussy is making for me"
I bring my hand round to grip her hips as I snap my hips back and forth faster feeling my orgasm approach "don't you even think about cumming " I groan as she turns into a whimpering mess "please...pleaseee y/n please let me cum" I feel the knot snap as my orgasm washes over me I slow my thrusts and pull out of wanda smirking at her whimpers I take the harness off and lay down looking at my desperate sweating girlfriend and let out a giggle "maybe you'll think before you send teasing pictures now be a good girl and put that mouth to use if you do a good job ill think about letting you cum" she spreads my legs and lays down instantly attacking my dripping pussy I let out a loud moan as she runs her tounge through my wet folds collecting my cum humming against my pussy causing me to moan louder as the vibration rushes through me "fu...fuck right there wanda" I moan as she works my pussy sliding her tounge deep inside me I grip her hair and pull her closer to me as I feel the orgasm creeping up "fuckkkk don't stop I'm so close" I feel my legs begin to shake as I start to cum all over her face I feel my eyes roll as I try to let the orgasm wash over me and wanda helps me ride it out "oh shit your tounge is magical " I smirk as she sits up on her knees giving me puppy eyes "please can I cum y/n ill be good I promise " I can't help but smile at her and nod "since you asked nicely baby come sit on my face I want you to cum all over my face" I say as I bite my lip she practically jumps up onto my face and grips the headboard I hold her thighs to hold her in place as I latch my mouth around her clit sucking gently as she starts to shake ontop of me moaning my name "yes baby don't stop, pleasee" I continue to suck for a few seconds before I slide my tounge through her folds moaning at her taste I quickly slide my tounge deep inside her as she bucks her hips against me I work my tounge as I use my thumb to rub her clit after a few gentle rubs she starts screaming and cumming all over my face I grip her thighs tighter and hold her as I continue to work my tounge and thumb not giving her time to recover "mhhh so sensitive baby I ca..fuckkk yes right there" she whimpers as I continue to work her to her second orgasm enjoying the taste she leaves in my mouth, she climbs off and lays beside me panting "fuck y/n ill need to send teasing pictures more often" she smiles cuddling into me as we both catch our breath. This bitch fuck she'll be the death of me i cant help but laugh to myself a smile appearing on my face as i hold my girl close.
AN: just a quick one hope it's OK I have a terrible headache so concentration isn't the best atm hope it makes sense if you have any requests message me word count 1.3k

a very long list of sleep token lyrics that make me feel more religious than i ever did at church
"wont you come and dance in the dark with me? show me what you are i am desperate to know"
"im coiled up like a venomous serpent tangled in your trance and im certain you have got your hooks in me"
"and i dont wanna get in your way but i finally think i can say that the vicious cycle was over the moment you smiled at me"
"and i know i know the way that it goes you get what you give, you reap what you sow and i can see you in my fate. and i know i know i am what i am the mouth of the wolf the eyes of the lamb so darling, will you saturate?"
"lets load the gun. make her eat the tape in the bathroom mirror see if she can guess what a hollow point does to a naked body"
"so flood me like atlantic, weather me to nothing. wash away the blood on my hands"
YOU MAKE ME WISH I COULD DISAPPEARRRRR
"and just like the rain you cast the dust into nothing and wash out the salt from my hands. so touch me again, i feel my shadow dissolving"
"they talk me through the damage, consequence and how its a pain they know they dont understand"
"when the mouth of infinity buries its teeth in me, ill smile through the agony for you. and i know you still bear the weight of your own existence and youll never bear the weight of two"
"well, i know what you want from me. you want someone to be your reflection, your bitter deception setting you free. so take what you want and leave"
"rose gold chains, ripped lace, cut glass, blood stains on the collar, please just dont ask"
"give in again and let me lay, my arms belong around you"
"i come as a blade, a sacred guardian. so you keep me sharp and test my worth in blood"
"id turn my walls to gold to bring you home again"
SO SHOW ME THAT WHICH I CANNOT SEE EVEN IF IT HURTS ME EVEN IF I CANT SLEEP OH AND THOUGH WE ACT OUT OF OUR HOLY DUTY TO BE CONSTANTLY AWAAAKKEEEE YOUVE GOT ME IN A CHOKEHOLD
"and im not here to be the savior you long for, only the one you dont. are you watching me with eyes of a predator as you move towards the door?"
"show me those pretty white jaws show me where the delicate stops show me what youve lost and why youre always taking it slow show me what wounds youve got show me love"
"i am the shadow, youre a passenger. i am the intake of breath so sharp and i know you better. just want to know you better"
"if you want to give then give me all that you can give all your darkest impules and if you want to give me anything then give give in again"
"ill tear the fibre from the filamemt, ill be the limit of your light again. i want to taste you better i want to taste you better. i will be watching for your enemies, to let them know that they contend with me"
"between the second hand smoke and the glass on the street you gave me nothing whatsoever but a reason to leave. you say you want me but you know im not what you need but i am"
IF YOU HAD A PROBLEM THEN YOU SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME BEFORE YOU STARTED GETTING ALL AGGRESSIVE AND CONTROLLING YOU ONLY DRINK THE WATER WHEN YOU THINK ITS HOLY SO KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE ROAD OR WE WILL BOTH BE HERE FOREVERRRR
"nevermind the death threats parting at the door wed rather be six feet under than be lonely"
WHY ARE YOU NEEEEVERR REAL THE SHIFTING STATES YOU FOLLOW ME THROUGH UNNNREVEALED
"yet in reverse you are all my symmetry, a parallel i would lay my life on. so if your wings wont find you heaven i will bring it down like an ancient bygone"
"i know for the last time, you will not be mine. so give me the night, the night, the night"
"and i hate who i have become (i might break and bend to my basic need to be loved and close to somebody)"
"most days you reach for safety. remain calm, forget that you know me"
DARLING IM NOTICING YOUR FLAWS THEYRE EXACTLY WHAT I WANT EVEN IF YOU DONT BELIEVE ME, KNOW IT
"it seems your heart is locked up and i still get the combination wrong. or are you simply waiting to save your love for someone i am not?"
"is that a glint in your eye? is that a blade in your palm? well, i am yours tonight so will you lay in my arms?"
"i want to feel my stars align again, even if the earth breaks like burnt skin and the heavens just wont open up for me. would you invite me in again? wont you pay for your arrogance? wont you show me your weakness?"

Secret Santa: dishes
@mahi-does-some-art
Puff!! Remember when you said you my secret santa match was very lucky? Yeah. I had to step away from my PC to laugh for a bit.
This year I ventured out into the world of writing scripts/audio drama-esque texts, and it was a lot of fun to do this with this gang. Imagine this to be a vaguely canon divergence AU where Kuro and Sloth are both a part of one another but also Sloth is the weird twin.
I hope you enjoy!! Merry Christmas (Eve)!
.
The date: Christmas Eve
The cast: Mahiru, Sakuya, Kuro, Sloth
The problem at hand: dishes
.
[interior: the Shirota residence. The small apartment is decorated with what its inhabitant perceived to be christmas-themed; there's a little more than a healthy amount of red, gold and green.]
[An old radio by the living room door is playing what seems to be a loop of Christmas songs. It has almost reached a number of repetitions that would instill bloodlust even within the calmest person on earth. Unfortunately, neither of the beings inside this room have a lot of self-control.]
[SAKUYA and KURO are sitting on the floor, next to a small Christmas tree with presents piled up next to it. SLOTH is lounging in front of the TV, staring at the blank screen like it is showing something interesting.]
[there are noises from the kitchen, the clink of dishes in the sink, running water.]
Sakuya: This sucks.
Kuro: Feel free to offer your help.
Sakuya: Do I look like…?
Kuro: Yeah.
Sakuya: (sitting up) Wait, what exactly makes you think I'd walk in there and offer to do the dishes?
Kuro: Your–
Sloth: (simultaneously) Your crush on him.
Kuro: What it said.
Sloth: (turns back to the TV with a shrug)
Sakuya: That's a little childish now, isn’t it?
Kuro: No you are childish. In fact–
Sloth: You’re twice more childish than the rest of us.
Sakuya: You two are five times more childish.
Sloth: Okay but you are infinity times more childish, so checkmate.
[KURO extends a fist towards the television. SLOTH'S hand snatches out, hesitating, before giving him a fist bump. It looks like this behavior is a recent development.]
Sakuya: I should have accepted Tsubaki’s invitation. But I expect him to be drunk by now, and that’s when he starts telling everybody how much he loves his friends.
Kuro: Oh god.
Sakuya: So perhaps this is better.
Kuro: Slightly.
Sakuya: Yeah.
[A beat.]
Sakuya: Why is he like this.
Kuro: Tsubaki? I always expected it to be a healthy mix of trauma and mental illness.
Sloth: That's what people say about you, too.
Sakuya: Hah.
Kuro: (shrugs, like this is not something he can or wants to deny)
Sakuya: I meant Shirota, though.
Kuro: Do you expect my answer to change here?
Sakuya: I didn’t really expect an answer. I was just making conversation.
Kuro: He likes to be useful. This is probably fun for him.
Sakuya: Not for us.
Kuro: It's not about us, though.
Sakuya: Urgh.
[A beat.]
Sloth: Does Tsubaki's party have a karaoke machine?
Kuro: I didn’t think you out of all people would be in favor of abandoning Mahiru like this.
Sloth: Don't imply that I'm a person. That's disgusting.
Kuro: My bad.
Sloth: Besides, I wouldn't abandon him. I just want to steal the karaoke machine. Naturally.
Kuro: Naturally.
Sakuya: I hate to disappoint you all but there's no karaoke this year. They're doing a board game marathon because karaoke doesn't have enough human interaction, apparently.
Kuro: So, that's why you're here?
Sakuya: (noncommittal shrug)
[The sounds from the kitchen have stopped. There are steps in the hallway.]
[MAHIRU stops at the door, looking at the three others in his living room. He seems a little stressed but it’s not a bad look on him. Truly, it’s hard to imagine him in a state where he isn’t stressed at all.]
Mahiru: Does anyone want something to drink?
Kuro: We're good.
Sakuya: We know where you keep the liquor.
Kuro: Exactly.
Mahiru: Ah… that's great, then.
[MAHIRU walks towards the table and starts tinkering with the remaining cups and mugs on it. The display is a leftover from both breakfast and the cake they had in the afternoon – a lot of “oh no, leave it, I will use it later” and then you catch yourself drinking from an unused cup once that ‘later’ arrives.]
[It happens within the blink of an eye. SLOTH'S face grows restless, dangerous. It sits up, eying MAHIRU with pure, unfiltered focus.]
Sloth: Sit down. Now. Or else I'll slit your throat.
Kuro: Wow.
Mahiru: (blinks) Sorry?
Sakuya: Yeah, sorry about that.
Kuro: (trying to look like he is somehow not related to SLOTH at all) It doesn't speak for all of us, by the way.
Sakuya: I agree with the sentiment, though. What's so important in the kitchen?
Mahiru: The dishes?
Sakuya: Okay, and now you're done with them.
Mahiru: I still have to prepare our desserts.
Kuro: I thought you did that yesterday.
Mahiru: It still needs a bit of work.
[SAKUYA rolls his eyes. KURO slaps his arm.]
Mahiru: Is there a problem? Can't you get along for one afternoon?
Sakuya: Hey. We're being civil here.
Kuro: Fighting is too exhausting. I refuse to kick that guy’s ass in my free time, I’m already doing it during working hours.
Sakuya: You don’t work.
Kuro: Fighting you is a full-time job.
Sloth: (continues staring at Mahiru like a sleep paralysis demon)
Mahiru: I don't see your problem.
[MAHIRU grabs a few empty cups and starts walking towards the kitchen again]
Sakuya: He doesn't get it.
Kuro: Nope.
Sakuya: Why doesn't he get it?
Kuro: Because you can’t just say things to him. You need to hit him with a steel chair. Metaphorically speaking.
Sakuya: Wow, good thing you clarified that.
Kuro: You're welcome.
Sakuya: I don’t want to say anything until we're one hundred percent certain that this is not an elaborate display of kink. Do you think he will get out a maid costume next?
Kuro: No, that's still wrapped and under the tree. Right next to you.
Sakuya: Nice.
Kuro: (shrugs)
Sakuya: Full offense but I want to celebrate Christmas with him, not… (gestures vaguely, before realizing he doesn’t care all that much about hurting KURO’S or SLOTH’S feelings) you.
Kuro: You need to say that to his face.
Sakuya: Thanks, I would rather die.
Kuro: Well, if you're lucky, your problem will solve itself in about five to ten seconds.
Sakuya: How so?
Kuro: (pointing at the empty space in front of the television SLOTH was sitting just seconds ago)
Sakuya: … It's not going to kill him, right.
Kuro: No.
Sakuya: Are you just saying that because you don't want to get up?
Kuro: Wouldn't you like to know.
[A beat.]
Kuro: It wouldn't hurt him.
Sakuya: (rising to his feet, a little nervous) Are you sure?
Kuro: Yes. It's a part of me. And I would never let anything or anyone harm Mahiru.
Sakuya: Hm. That’s the one thing we can agree on, isn’t it.
Kuro: That and our mutual dislike for theater kids. Does that mean nothing to you?
Sakuya: (snorts with laughter, then tries his hardest to make it seem like KURO didn’t just make him laugh) Okay.
[SLOTH always moves like it’s not human. And of course it isn’t, but the uncanny fills out every little movement, every inch of its body. KURO may pass for a human from time to time but SLOTH refuses that privilege. It drags MAHIRU inside, gripping his festive snowman pullover so tight that it threatens to rip it apart.]
Sloth: Open. Now.
[MAHIRU is forcefully positioned next to KURO and SAKUYA. SLOTH grabs a present from the pile and puts it into his hands.]
[Despite its rough exterior, and the intense expression in its eyes, SLOTH’S behavior seems less aggressive and more assertive; this is the driving force in this group when it comes to enforcing self-care. It prefers trickery but just like KURO, it has come to terms with the simple truth that you have to push MAHIRU towards his own wellbeing, with the gentleness of a high-speed train.]
Mahiru: But the–
Sloth: We’re here to celebrate with you.
Sakuya: (nodding along, his face gentle) Do you really think any of us care about Christmas? You know how I steal the Jesus figures from nativity scenes that make the mistake of putting him up before the 24th?
Mahiru: No, and I think I preferred not knowing that.
Sakuya: (shrugs in a way makes it clear that he is not very sorry about this) I declined an invitation for a board games marathon to spend this day with you.
Mahiru: You love board games.
Sakuya: I love you more.
[a beat.]
[He’s never openly said it before, and was waiting for the perfect moment. Perhaps with flowers involved. An Orchestra. He’s pretty sure he imagined rain, too.]
Mahiru: (softly) I just wanted it to be perfect. Because it’s the first time you celebrate with us. I know how important Tsubaki is to you and… I didn’t want to make you pick sides because I’m not your divorced parent, actually.
Sakuya: Calling you Daddy is off the table, then?
Mahiru: I didn’t say that– Listen, it’s supposed to be a perfect day. And I like doing housework, you guys know that. You’re not making me do anything I dislike at gunpoint.
Kuro: Except opening presents.
Mahiru: There was a switch-blade involved, yes. With a candy-cane pattern.
Sloth: (looking pleased with itself) Festive.
Kuro: I am supposed to be mad at you but you wanted to stab someone with that on Christmas, so I suppose you stayed true to your word.
Mahiru: (with a long sigh) Let me open a present, if that makes you happy.
[MAHIRU squeezes the gift SLOTH gave him. It’s soft, giving in to his touch, the wrapping paper crinkling a little. He suspects that it might be a Christmas sweater.]
[The present is also very maid-costume-sized but MAHIRU doesn’t make that connection yet.]
Mahiru: Okay.
[he braces himself for it, like receiving an act of kindness is somehow something he needs to emotionally prepare himself for. After a few seconds, he slowly pulls away the wrapping paper. He has a habit of removing all bits of sticky tape first and attempting to leave the wrapping in one piece, but once he tears into it, his movements become at least a little bit less careful.]
Mahiru: That is…
[MAHIRU pauses. His face is slightly redder than usual.]
Mahiru: (groans) Very funny. A maid dress.
Kuro: You’re welcome. (pauses) Wait. That’s not my present.
Sloth: No.
Kuro: (tilting his head) Great minds think alike?
Mahiru: Just exactly how many maid dresses will I find in that pile, friends?
Kuro: Two.
Sakuya: And counting.
Kuro: Oh my god.
Mahiru: I hate you guys. Worst Christmas ever. I’m going to the kitchen.
[but he doesn’t move. He’s smiling. For once, he doesn’t look stressed at all.]

The Half Hashira Kap. 3
Somehow I didn't want to open the door because I knew it would be one of the boys standing there to talk to me about the hot springs.
But I had already snuggled up so nicely in bed and the warmth surrounded me, which I didn't want to give up. So I simply ignored the person at my door and went back to bed, after all we had to go on tomorrow and there would be enough time to talk about what had happened.
My ears picked up footsteps moving away from the door and quiet voices talking to each other.
-Apparently it was all three of them who wanted something from me, they should go to sleep and stop thinking about this little thing.
But something told me that I wasn't really going to sleep tonight.
I put my head back on the pillow and closed my (E/C) eyes.
But there was a sound that I unfortunately knew only too well. The sides of a Biwa.
My surroundings changed immediately. There were shogi doors everywhere. It was like a huge labyrinth. What was upstairs could also be downstairs and vice versa. Light shone from almost every room and illuminated the rooms. The infinity castle. The refuge of the higher demons and their leader.
Only then did I realize that I was hanging in the air. When I realized it, I fell down. But I didn't fall onto the hard tatami floor, I was caught. My (E/C) eyes, looked into rainbow colored eyes.
"Hello my dearest (Y/N)-chan." His voice reached my ears and brought me out of my stupor. I started to wiggle back and forth for him to finally let me go. After I stood on both feet again, I looked up at the demon. His cream/white hair was sticking out on all sides. The black hat on his head let me know that he must have come from his temple. The rest of his robes also confirmed my suspicions.
"You look just scrumptious again today, my love." He continued speaking and grabbed my left hand to pull it to his mouth. His long tongue emerged and licked over my skin. I knew what he was like and I didn't really mind. It's been like this for centuries.
-He will never change, but has it always been this cold here?- I asked myself inwardly.
Until I realized what else I was wearing. It was just a short white kimono with cherry blossoms at the ends. I always wear this to sleep because I get warm very quickly. But I'd never stood in front of them dressed like this before.
"Douma. Stop bothering her, can't you see she's not feeling well?" A pleasant voice echoed in my ears.
I turned my head a little to the side. Short red hair. Tattoos all over his body. A red vest and matching trousers completed the picture of a well-toned body. And those beautiful eyes with the number 3 engraved in them made me smile softly.
"What, darling, is that right? I've just missed you so much, it's been so long." Douma whined in front of me.
I immediately turned back to him.
"Douma. It's all good. You know I don't mind you being like this. I'm just very unflatteringly dressed and so I'm a bit cold." I said.
The rainbow-colored eyes widened a little until a mischievous grin appeared on his cheeks.
"Awww (Y/N)-chan, I still think you're wearing too many clothes. AUA!" Douma was interrupted by a shclag to the head.
The red haired demon, stepped in after the remark. "Akaza it's all good. You know how he is." I laughed and looked at the two of them with cheerful eyes.
"It's still inappropriate. Better give her your coat to make her feel better. What will the master think of it if she falls ill. And you call yourself number two." Akaza would not be deterred from his sermon.
-He's still a gentelman- I thought to myself silently.
Douma, however, pricked up his ears at Akaza's request and immediately took off his large cloak and simply put it on me. I hadn't expected him to be so quick with such an action. But I immediately melted into the garment because it was warm and felt so nice. I grabbed it with my hands and pulled it tighter around me. I didn't pay any attention to what the others were doing because I was so engrossed in the fabric. Out of the corner of my eye, I could just see them watching me and apparently blushing.
"Madam (Y/N) looks like a work of art!" another voice appeared in the room.
I knew exactly who it was and didn't know whether to be happy or not. Since I had little to do with the demon and he mostly just talked about art.
"Um...thanks." I simply replied.
And I never knew where to look with him. His eyes were mouths while his forehead and chin had eyes. But he was always very nice to me, even though deep down I thought he wanted to kill me.
"(Y/N)-san....H-h-hello." My gaze went to the right side of the room, up to a staircase.
There I saw another of the upper moons, but I didn't quite like him in the form he was in. He's always so whiny then.
I just waved to him and gave him a little smile.
Almost everyone was there, only two were missing. Inwardly, I also knew that I had missed them very much. Especially upper moon number 1.
"Where are the other two?" I kept looking back and forth to find them.
However, I suddenly felt a presence behind me. I put my head back so I could see exactly who was looking down at me.
"Kokushibo!" I shouted loudly and immediately turned to him and hugged him. He immediately stiffened under my touch, but then relaxed again. He is always a bit stiff in front of the others and tries not to show that he has missed me.
"Hi." he just said and put his hand on my head.
"Why does he get such a greeting and I don't..." Douma's whining came through the room again.
I rolled my eyes a little and detached myself from the number one demon. Knowing exactly how affectionate Douma and Akaza can be, even if he doesn't show it, I opened my arms. Both came to me very quickly and hugged me. One more than the other.
"That better? And someone should tell me that you are demons. You're like lost puppies who come as soon as I call them." I said with a laugh.
They both wanted to say something back, but they immediately dropped into a crouch and bowed their heads.
-Why did he have to come now, it was just so beautiful- In my mind, I felt like a child who didn't get what he wanted.
"(Y/N)." Muzan's stern voice made me realize how serious the situation was.
I gave him my attention. His head is covered by the white hat again. He kept his black hair neatly in a low braid. His body is covered by a very elegant black suit.
I waved to him. Even though he couldn't see my hand, as Douma's coat is much too big for me.
"You know why you're here?" There was somehow a hint of anger in his voice.
"Nope." I emphasized the P at the end. I wanted to irritate him even more, even if the others would probably suffer for it afterwards.
"Watch how you talk to me. But then I'll remind you."

Star Crossed Myth Advent Calendar Fanfic: Day Fourteen - Professional Etiquette (Zyglavis/MC)
(Twenty-Four days of Star Crossed Myth Flash Fics using this prompt list)
Title: Day Fourteen - Professional Etiquette
Pairing: Zyglavis/MC (MC's name left blank so you can fill it in with whatever you wish in your head)
Word Count: 678
Rating: T
Prompt: "A firm handshake, professionally at first, but a second to long"
Summary: Zyglavis has a ceremony he is required to attend in the Heavens and for some reason the King wants MC there
A/N: Minor spoiler for Zig's route. Set after Zyglavis' 'Promise of Infinity' story.
Day Fourteen: Professional Etiquette (Zyglavis/MC)
___ shifted nervously as she watched her husband greet everyone. This was not an event in the Heavens she had been to before, if it had even existed in the past. She still wasn’t convinced that this hadn’t been entirely made up by the King rather than just the fact that she had to attend.
Since when did the Minister of Punishments have a required ceremony where they would shake the hand of anyone who wished to thank the department for their work that year? This was ridiculous. On the other hand she had seen stranger things to have ceremonies in the Heavens, so maybe her concern over this being entirely for the King’s amusement was unfounded. Zyglavis hadn’t seemed willing to tell her whether this had happened before or not, so in the end she had dropped any questions she had about this, and had instead gone along with it. If this was a normal event there was no need to worry, and if this was one of the King’s games then she wanted to be by her husband’s side regardless.
Though speaking of which, she wasn’t sure why she had to line up with everyone else who wanted a brief moment to speak to Zyglavis, she would have much rather stayed by his side for the entire ceremony.
Before she could dwell any more on what was going on, she noticed the person who had been in front of her in the queue step away from where Zyglavis was standing. Taking a deep breath, she slowly stepped up onto the stage area and moved over to him, sticking her hand out for a handshake as she had been instructed. “Thank you for your work this year,” she murmured, feeling extremely awkward.
If anything, though, Zyglavis looked even more ill at ease with this. However, ever the professional, he reached out with a nod of acceptance of her words, and shook her hand.
___ relaxed a little as she felt his firm grip around her hand. It may be a professional handshake but it still meant they were holding hands right now. However, after a normal amount of time had passed she went to pull her hand away and realised that the other still had a very firm grip on it as though he did not wish to let go. “Zyglavis…” she hissed quietly, trying to get his attention.
In that moment he seemed to realise what he had been doing and sharply dropped her hand, glancing to the side as he tried to stop a blush from forming on his face.
Not wanting to distract him further, ___ bowed awkwardly to him before almost running from the stage and out into the corridor.
Leaning against the wall and taking a deep breath, she frowned as she heard a familiar snapping sound, and then her eyes widened as Zyglavis appeared in front of her.
“... What…”
“I left my shadow with you earlier should I need to switch places later,” Zyglavis muttered, clearly still a little flustered. “My apologies. I requested you to not make a scene and yet I fear it is I who should have had more control over my emotions…”
___ laughed softly. “You held my hand for a second or two longer than you should have done, I hardly think that counts as losing control.”
Zyglavis’ frown faded and instead his expression turned into a loving smile. “Perhaps, but can you guarantee I would have ever let go if you had not called my name?”
Blushing a little herself this time, ___ took his hand in hers again. “Are you sure it’s alright to be out here?”
“I was asked to let people thank me for work but it was not specified how long I needed to do it for.”
“Is this a usual event?” ___ asked, now even more suspicious.
Zyglavis smirked at her, though his eyes betrayed the frustration he had been feeling all evening. “I wonder… what do you think?”
___ sighed heavily. So it was the King’s doing after all.

if gojo had an older sister, I feel their dynamic would be where the older sibling is the calm and rational one, and the younger is just,,, unhinged af. Constantly trying. to. start. shit.
Imagining Gojo’s sister holding him by the scruff of his shirt as a child just to get him to STOP MOVING. and I think she would do it to him as adults too lmao like just for funsies but also because he is canonically a menace to society and needs to be detained.
this. this is my vision. https://www.tiktok.com/@nirami1/video/7278369363466472737
as for a younger sister,,,
why am i thinking of Klee?
omg that tiktok is exactly how i’d imagine his sisters… here’s copy paste what i messaged to doll! utc bc it’s actually hella long for no reason
ok so just for fun i think he's got two sisters, one older and one younger. i’ve named his older sister sayuri and his younger one sakiko just for the sake of explaining. i think they are all relatively close in age with sayuri being 3-4 years older than satoru and sakiko being 2-ish years younger.
sayuri would have six eyes and while she attempted to be a full fledged jujutsu sorcerer it didn’t really work out since she doesn’t have the cursed energy reserves to efficiently use six eyes to its full extent and it makes her too sensitive to the point where she’s borderline chronically ill. It’s also another reason why she’s jealous of satoru, not only does he get to be the clan head since he’s a boy, but he is perfect in every way and can use six eyes like it's nothing when it makes her sickly. she has a lot of complicated emotions towards satoru, because she’s envious, apologetic, guilty, but still loves him so much. and she was convinced for a long while he wanted to do nothing with her but when he heard about her political marriage he was so so angry. she remembers him as the little 12 year coming to cry on her shoulder and whining that it wasn't fair that she would have to go away. when he assumed the position of clan leader, his first order was barring any sort of political marriage for sakiko.
sakiko would have limitless and got to attend school with satoru. so when he was a third year, she was a first year and always referred to as ‘satoru’s little sister’ and similar titles. he pushes her away a lot due to geto’s defection and being busy, but sakiko’s psychological need to bother her brother wins out and they become fairly close. she loves learning from him even though he’s a shit teacher and helps her learn how to have the 100% upkeep of infinity and the basics behind red and blue, but since she doesn’t have six eyes it's not possible for her to reach the same level. but she really inspires him to become a teacher and the ideology that he keeps of wanting his students to surpass him. he likes to spoil her a lot too since they share similar tastes. she’s like a carbon copy of him really, but she’s far more tolerable than her brother and likes to hang that over his head when shoko or nanami say so too.
and we were also talking abt how stsg have strong vibes that they have a sister and that’s why they are so dramatic. also also been thinking abt suguru’s little sister having a sasuke/itachi type relationship after sugu’s defection oof

Sonic Cyber Revolution, Entry 12: Unknown From M.E.
Tumblr media
''Something's callin' me; I don't know what (Yeah). Something's talkin' but I don't know who (Yeah). Something's callin' me more and more, no one stops Knuckles' feet!''
– Unknown From M.E. by Sonic Adventure 2 (Theme of Knuckles)
xXxXxXx
-The Memories of The Past: Knuckles & Lily-
''Perhaps, my search has finally come to an end,'' Knuckles the Echidna muttered under his breath has he finally made his way through Infinity Forest, exiting at a park closest to the edge of the forest, pushing away the branches and bushes and drawing the attention of the humans and ARNavs who were visiting it. He looked around, paying no attention to any of the curious onlookers and moved on.
He was focused on his goal, one that he didn't understand fully, but had accepted all the same. He knew that there was a greater purpose in his life, that he needed to find someone or something that he would guard with his life,… even if he had no clue what it was.
However, he trusted his gut feeling, braving through the unknown location. He knew that he needed to remain cautious, as he had been attacked several times during his journey, mostly by ARNavs calling themselves Irregular Hunters, demanding his surrender. Believing them to just be obstacles, he would fight back. There was a reason he called himself ''The Greatest Warrior Who Ever Lived'' and none of the Hunters proved to be worthy opponents. They all suffered a humiliating defeat.
Knuckles eventually exited the park and arrived at a busy street. He had to admit that he had never seen so many humans and ARNavs at one place. It was apparent that he had arrived at a settlement that was quite populated. He was used to being on his own, to the isolated life he subjected himself to ever since he awakened for the first time. He had no clue what the customs of this place were, deciding to remain inconspicuous side until he reached his goal. He did not want any trouble, but if trouble found him, he would crush it to dust.
That was his way; the way of a warrior.
xXx
Lily Crystle groaned out of sheer boredom, lying on her bed. She may have been a member of one of the richest families in Starpoint Area, as well as the heiress of an influential video game company, Rising Quest, but that still didn't mean that she had nothing to complain about. Her parents had basically trapped her inside this lavish gilded cage known as the Crystle Mansion and were for the most part physically and emotionally absent from her life, using their money and influence to make up for the lost time. Lily figured that it would've been easier if she had any friends to hang out with, but Bennet, the family butler, made sure no one put a step on the premises unless their presence was approved by Lily's parents. Not only that, but he also watched Lily like a hawk, not allowing her to leave the mansion at all and showing disdain whenever she would complain, telling her not to be so ungrateful.
Lily would complain to her parents, wanting to go out and visit Neos City on her own, but her parents ignored her pleas, telling her how unsafe it was for her to be on her own. They would always recount the accident where she had been kidnapped when she was only two years old, and held for ransom. Fortunately, the police had found her and arrested the kidnappers, but this made her parents fear for their only daughter's life, leading to the decision to keep her locked up. Lily noted that she didn't even remember what happened and would argue back that she could look after herself.
After all, she was now older, had been taking self-defense lessons and practiced kickboxing as a hobby. She was certain that, if someone approached her with ill intentions, she would be able to defend herself. However, her parents still refused to let her go.
''Fine! What exactly do I have to do for you to let me leave on my own?!'' Lily asked in frustration during breakfast. ''Do you want me to hire a bodyguard or something?!''
Her parents exchanged glances, an awkward silence falling between them. They then turned to Lily.
''Actually, that might not be a bad idea.''
''What?!''
Lily was stunned that her parents actually agreed with something she said in a moment of frustration. As a matter of fact, they told her that she could choose either a bodyguard of her own, be it a human or ARNav, or her parents will hire one for her. As long as there is someone to protect her, she would be allowed to leave the mansion on her own. Lily wasn't exactly thrilled by the idea, but she knew that she didn't really have any other choice. At least they were willing to compromise.
But, how the hell am I supposed to find a bodyguard if I'm trapped in here? I mean, I could do an online advertisement… Nah, scrap that idea. I don't even know anyone and if I'm already getting a bodyguard, it should be someone I can trust. Besides, Bennet would just chase of any visitors regardless of whether I asked them to come over or not.
''This is so annoying…'' Lily sighed as she swung her legs and sat up. Frowning, she glanced towards the window, staring at the fence outside, then smirked. Something neither her parents nor Bennet knew was that she had explored the whole mansion on her own, knowing every piece of this place inside and outside. There were woods behind the mansion and if she used her hoverboard, she could easily fly over the fence, finally escaping her gilded cage.
Sure, she could've done that before, but the real problem was Bennet. He kept an eye on the whole place and her every move, thanks to the security cameras all around the mansion aside from her room. He would also go on breaks at odd times and even then, she had no idea whether she was supervised or not. Nevertheless, she grabbed her hoverboard and a shoulder bag, placing her wallet into it, and then opened the door, walking into the hallway. Fortunately, she had figured out where the security cameras and their blind spots were, so as long as she avoided them, she'd be able to get out before anyone noticed. At least, she hoped it would work this time.
If they want me to find a bodyguard, then damnit, I will find them.
xXx
''So, how is this going to work?'' Sonic asked as he observed Tails fiddling with the wires on the hoverboard accelerator.
''Oh, it is actually really easy. After Warren and I made some modifications on the accelerator, all we have to do is to connect it to the hoverboard and make some slight adjustments,'' Tails replied, grabbing a screwdriver.
''And then the device should make the hoverboard fly faster?'' Sonic asked.
''If our calculations are correct, it should,'' Tails replied, nodding. Sonic grinned, glancing at Lucas.
''Maybe we could race,'' he suggested. ''What do you say, Lucas?''
''I doubt that, even with the accelerator, that the hoverboard is going to keep up with your super speed,'' Tails said as he gave Warren the accelerator. ''Have you ever thought of measuring your speed?''
''Not really,'' Sonic replied, shrugging. ''I think I have already surpassed the speed of sound, though.''
''Really?'' Tails looked intrigued. Sonic gave him a confident smile, pointing with his thumb at himself.
''Yeah! As a matter of fact, I can clear the whole city in maybe under a minute,'' he bragged.
''Interesting,'' Tails muttered, tilting his head and grinning. ''May I get a demonstration?''
''Sure,'' Sonic replied, vanishing in a blur of blue, only to return less than a second later, kicking up dust. ''What do you think?''
''It is impressive, but I need to figure out how to keep track of you,'' Tails replied, his twin-tails flicking. Despite the slight sarcasm in his tone, he appeared to be quite intrigued. Sonic chuckled nervously in response, rubbing the back of his head.
''I guess I should've given you a heads-up, buddy,'' he said. Tails just waved him off.
''It's fine,'' he said. ''I'm sure we're going to have plenty of time to do that, since neither of us is going anywhere. Still, I have questions. What about your reaction time when you come across obstacles? Do you have to focus, or is it more of a gut feeling?''
''I never really thought about it,'' Sonic replied, tapping with his foot on the ground. ''I mean, I just know what I need to do whenever I run.''
''What if you get distracted mid-run?'' Tails asked curiously.
''Don't worry, I know how to control my super speed, so if there's anything that distracts me-'' Before Sonic could finish his sentence, his ears twitched at a cry of pain, with Lucas' hoverboard flying right past him at high speeds. Sonic and Tails looked at Warren and Lucas, the latter sitting on the ground, rubbing his back. Sonic then turned to Tails. ''Give me a moment, buddy. I'll be right back.''
With that said, he ran off again, with Tails just shrugging. He turned to Warren and Lucas as the latter got up. ''What happened?''
''I think I shouldn't have used the accelerator so soon,'' Lucas replied, sighed. ''Good thing I didn't crash into anything.''
''Just be careful next time,'' Tails said, placing his hands on his hips as he turned his head in the direction Sonic ran off, his twin-tails flicking. ''I wonder where Sonic is. He should've been back by now.''
''Maybe he ran into trouble?'' Warren suggested. However, before anyone could respond, Sonic flew right back on the hoverboard.
''Sorry for keeping you waiting,'' Sonic said, jumping off the hoverboard and lifting it up. ''I can see why you guys love to ride those hoverboards so much. They're fun to use.''
''If you want, I could get you your own hoverboard,'' Lucas told him, taking his hoverboard back. Sonic's eyes sparked in amazement.
''You'd really get me one?'' he asked. Lucas nodded. Warren turned to Tails.
''Do you want one of your own?'' he asked.
''Of course!'' Tails replied excitedly, him and Sonic turning to each other and high-fiving. Lucas and Warren exchanged glances, simply feeling happy for their partners. Admittedly, getting a hoverboard would be a bit more expensive than getting an AR Visor, but fortunately, they were still cheaper for ARNavs than the ones made for humans.
xXx
Lily was shaking with excitement. Either the stars had aligned and granted her one lucky break or her constant explorations of the mansion and knowledge of Bennet's schedule allowed her to leave unnoticed. Either way, she was now on the streets of Neos City, free to go wherever she wanted. She had slowed down at a street, observing the many shops as she passed through it, the people and the ARNavs who walked past her without paying any attention to her. It was certainly a different experience, not having to constantly be placed under constant observation, having the fear of the outside world forced down her throat.
Lily furrowed a brow as she remembered the conversation she had with her parents. If she wanted to experience freedom like this, she needed to find a bodyguard, as per their deal. She knew that, if she returned home without her part of the deal fulfilled, she wouldn't be allowed to even enter her own backyard. However, she had no clue how to do that. She couldn't just go around and ask people whether they wanted to be hired as her bodyguard.
This is going to be more complicated than I had anticipated. Lily got off of her hoverboard at a traffic light, waiting for it to turn green as she pondered over her situation. Maybe I should…
Before she could even finish her thought, a blur of blue light zipped right past her, startling her and causing her to jump back, eyes wide. ''What the hell was that?!''
Shaking her head, she tried to figure out what could be this fast, only to get interrupted again, this time by a teenage girl on a hoverboard. ''Have you seen a blue hedgehog speeding through the streets?''
''Uh, what?'' Lily rose an eyebrow, with the other girl sighing.
''Okay, have you at least seen a blue blur speeding through the streets?'' she asked again.
''I did. It went down that street…'' Lily trailed off, completely confused. ''Wait, what do you mean 'blue hedgehog'?''
Instead of answering, the other teenage girl just left. Feeling intrigued and a little offended that she was left without an answer, Lily got on her hoverboard, following the former. Admittedly, she probably should've focused on her own mission, but she had been intrigued by the concept of a very fast blue hedgehog, especially if it indeed was the one she was familiar with.
xXx
Knuckles was still wandering across Neos City, hoping that his gut feeling would eventually lead him to what he was searching. However, his hopes had slowly stared to waver despite his resolution to follow through with his plans. He knew that he was completely aimless, save for knowing that he was supposed to guard something or someone, but he was unable to find what he needed. It was frustrating, but he wasn't going to give up.
I must complete my quest, no matter how hard it is. I need to prove my worth.
Knuckles eventually came to a stop at a tiny wooded area, sitting down under a tree as he tried to figure out his next move. This city was so huge and he believed that it would be the perfect place to find a way to fulfill his purpose, but unfortunately, he still had no direction. He had spent so much time searching for something, driven by the desire to find his place in the world. But, what if he had no purpose? What if there wasn't anything here for him?
What if my search will never end? What if all I had done was in vain?
Knuckles shook his head, trying to drive away those thoughts. With the hope he felt, there came doubt, and he didn't want for the latter to prevail. There had to be a reason why he was here and he was going to find it, no matter the cost. He stood up, determined, only to hear a buzzing sound and seeing a hoverboard flying right at him at high speeds.
Without even thinking, he punched the hoverboard, causing it to fly back and crash on the ground. Confused by what had happened and wondering if he was under attack, he observed a blue blur of light appearing suddenly before him, revealing himself to be a blue hedgehog. The hedgehog stared at Knuckles, then looked down at the hoverboard, puzzled.
''Whoa, what happened?'' Sonic asked the red echidna.
''Your board of hovering has attacked me,'' Knuckles said, walking up to the blue hedgehog. Sonic just gave him a baffled look.
''Attacked you? Dude, I don't even know who you are,'' Sonic replied, rising an eyebrow. Knuckles frowned, noticing in the corner of his eye the arrival of two more humans and an amber twin-tailed fox.
''The name is Knuckles the Echidna,'' Knuckles responded. ''I am a warrior, honor-bound to my cause.''
''Cause? What cause?'' Sonic asked him, still having no clue what was going on. Knuckles fell silent for a moment, unsure how to answer that question. The sense of doubt returned, creeping up his spine like a parasite, leeching off his desire for a purpose. He wanted to answer the blue hedgehog's question, but nothing came to his mind, no matter how hard he tried to find it. He stared at the ground, not wanting to give into his uncertainty, yet was unable to fight back against those thoughts. Sonic's confused look was replaced with concern, wondering what was going through the echidna's head. ''Hey, are you…?''
This attempt at talking with Knuckles didn't go well, as the echidna had attacked him suddenly, with Sonic barely dodging Knuckles' fist. ''Do not interrupt my moment of self-reflection, Hedgehog!''
''Hey, hey, calm down! I didn't mean to offend you!'' Sonic responded, holding up his hands in defense. For a split second, Knuckles felt like just taking out his frustrations on the blue hedgehog, but then backed away, feeling ashamed for even having those thoughts. This was not how a warrior should behave and he regretted even throwing a punch at someone who had shown concern towards him.
''I apologize for attacking you,'' he said, lowering his gaze. ''I shouldn't have given into weakness. It was dishonorable of me to treat you like that.''
''Don't worry, I'm not hurt or anything,'' Sonic responded, now curious. ''Would it make you feel better if you explained to me why you were so angry?''
Before Knuckles could answer, they were interrupted by whom the echidna assumed to be Sonic's companions, one carrying the hoverboard that was now sporting a crack in the middle. ''What happened here and why is my hoverboard damaged?''
''Don't worry, I can explain,'' Sonic told the teenager, then turned to Knuckles. ''Knuckles, these are my friends: Lucas, Tails and Warren; and I'm Sonic the Hedgehog.'' He then turned to Lucas, Tails and Warren. ''This is Knuckles the Echidna, a Warrior with a Cause.''
''I assume the board of hovering belonged to you,'' Knuckles replied, with Lucas nodding. ''I saw it flying towards me and I merely defended myself. I apologize for damaging your property.''
''Apology accepted,'' Lucas replied, looking at the crack in the hoverboard, a still a bit upset. ''I guess our experiment with the accelerator will have to stop for now.'' He turned to Warren and Tails. ''Do you guys think you'll be able to repair it or should we go back to the hoverboard shop?''
''It depends on the damage,'' Warren said as Lucas showed them the hoverboard.
''To me, it looks like the only thing that needs to be fixed is the frame itself,'' Tails noted. ''I think we can handle that.''
''Thanks guys,'' Lucas replied, glancing at Knuckles. ''Sonic said that you had some kind of 'Cause', right?''
Knuckles nodded in response. ''That is true. I am here to guard something, but unfortunately, I cannot find what this 'thing' is. I had been searching for a long time, but I'm afraid I might be unable to fulfill my purpose.''
Lucas and Warren exchanged glances, both well aware thanks to their knowledge of the video games that the echidna would usually reside on Angel Island and protect the Master Emerald, a giant green gem that kept the island afloat and had mystical powers. However, that was the video game counterpart. The Knuckles they met here was obviously an ARNav, just like Sonic and Tails, and Lucas and Warren sincerely doubted the something like the Master Emerald even existed. Regardless of the reality, Knuckles still felt a sense of duty and it was frustrating him to no end.
''I think I could help you with that!''
To everyone's surprise, a teenage girl ran over to them, grabbing Knuckles' hands. The echidna was just as confused as everyone else, staring at the girl as she smiled at him.
''May I know who you are and how you can help me with my quest?'' Knuckles asked.
''I'm Lily Crystle and I had been searching for a partner who would protect me,'' Lily replied. ''I believe that you might just be the right choice.''
Knuckles was a little hesitant to answer. He had spent so long searching for something or someone to guard, but now that the solution was in literally in his hands, he didn't know how to respond properly. It all felt a little too sudden.
''Wait, Crystle? Isn't that the name of the CEO of Rising Quest?'' Warren asked; him, Tails, Lucas and Sonic being intrigued by Lily's sudden appearance.
''Yeah, that's my parents' name,'' Lily responded, turning her head towards him, a brow furrowed.
Tails gave Warren a nudge, drawing the latter's attention, ''What is Rising Quest?''
''It one of the most influential video game companies in the world,'' Warren explained. Knuckles turned to Lily.
''You sound like an important person. Is that the reason why you need to be protected?'' he asked.
''It is part of the deal I made with my parents,'' Lily replied, folding her arms across her chest. ''I had been trapped since early childhood at the family mansion and they refused to let me go anywhere on my own. I just had managed to figure out how to escape it and I don't want to return until I fulfilled the conditions of our deal.''
''Is it really that hard to convince your parents to let you out of that mansion that you felt that you needed to run away?'' Lucas asked her. Lily pouted, not wanting to answer his question at all, but then relented after seeing everyone's curious looks.
''They told me that I could leave as long as I have a bodyguard with me,'' she admitted. ''It doesn't matter whether I'm skilled in martial arts or know self-defense, there needs to be someone to protect me, else I cannot leave.'' She frowned. ''Rest assured, I'm not letting anyone treat me like I'm a toddler who doesn't know how to take care of herself.''
''Yet, despite your claims of being independent, you asked me to become your guardian,'' Knuckles noted.
''As I said, it is part of the deal. I want to be independent, but I need help with that,'' Lily replied. ''I heard you saying that you were searching for something to protect, meaning that, if we become partners, we both get something out of it.''
''That is true,'' Knuckles replied, falling silent for a moment as he thought about her offer. He then nodded. ''I accept your proposal. From now on, I will be your Guardian.''
''Thank you so much!'' Lily replied, feeling a huge sense of relief overwhelming her. Lucas and Warren exchanged glances with Sonic and Tails, wondering why some problems never had such easy and convenient solutions.
''I should thank you too for your help,'' Knuckles responded, only for Lily to clench her fist and holding it out to the echidna. Knuckles gave her a confused look. ''I'm afraid that I do not understand your custom.''
''Just clench your fist like I did and tap it lightly against mine. It's called a fist bump and it is a gesture of affirmation,'' Lily told him. Knuckles did as he was told, then looked at his own spiked fist, feeling as if he had just passed an important ritual.
''Honestly, it is great you and Knucklehead over here have agreed to become partners, but one thing I don't understand is how you had found us. We don't know you, you don't know us… This whole thing feels just like a huge coincidence,'' Sonic said, staring at Lily with a questioning look on his expression.
''I had actually been following someone else who had tried to track you down,'' Lily explained, looking back at the trees at the edge of the clearing. The person in question exited her hiding place, with Lucas, Sonic, Warren and Tails immediately recognizing her.
''I guess we should've figured that you were the one who had been following us, Touka,'' Sonic noted. Touka just frowned in response, only for Sonic to realize something. ''Hey, how did you even find us?''
''I saw you running through the city,'' Touka told him, with Sonic rising an eyebrow.
''Oh, that must've been when I asked you to pick up my backpack after I forgot it at the workshop,'' Tails noted, turning to Sonic.
''I assume you know each other,'' Knuckles said, looking at Sonic and Tails.
''Yeah, kind of,'' Sonic replied, shrugging. ''We still don't know why she's following us, though.''
''That's because I have absolutely no reason to tell you why,'' Touka replied, scoffing and then walking away. Knuckles rose an eyebrow, giving Sonic and Tails a questioning look. The two just shrugged in response.
''Well, that was weird,'' Lily noted, placing a hand on her hip. She then turned to Knuckles, giving him a curious look. ''So, from what I've heard, you're an Echidna Warrior.''
''Correct,'' Knuckles nodded. ''I have fought many opponents, most of them being other ARNavs. They called themselves Hunters, even though I do not know why…''
''Woah, wait a second, Hunters? As in, Irregular Hunters?'' Sonic interrupted their conversation. Knuckles nodded. ''Dude, I didn't know that you're also an Irregular!''
''Neither did I until you called me that, Hedgehog,'' Knuckles replied, looking a little uncertain. Why was everyone referring to him as an Irregular?
''I think I'm losing the thread here,'' Lily said, trying to comprehend what was going on. She was aware of what Irregulars were, but none of the stories of aggressive ARNavs fitted Knuckles' behavior.
''I don't see any thread on you, but if you wish, I can help find it,'' Knuckles replied.
''Uh, I didn't mean that literally…'' Lily turned to Lucas and Warren, who were surprisingly calm after hearing this revelation. ''Do you guys have an explanation to what is going on?''
''Sonic and Tails are also Irregulars, albeit of the non-aggressive kind,'' Lucas replied, with Lily still being confused. ''It's a long story, but if Knuckles is staying with you, you'll have to make sure that none of the Hunters find out he's an Irregular as well.''
''How do I do that?'' Lily asked.
''There is actually an easy way to deal with this,'' Tails said, smirking. ''All I need is an AR Visor.''
xXx
''That was exciting,'' Sonic said, his arms folded across his chest as he, Lucas, Tails and Warren were waiting on the street for Lily and Knuckles to return from their shopping for an AR Visor for the echidna. ''Do you think that Knuckles and Lily will start hanging out with us?''
''Honestly, I have no idea,'' Lucas replied. ''We just met them today.''
''I wouldn't mind if they do,'' Sonic replied, watching Lily and Knuckles exit the store, carrying each a plastic bag.
''Here you go,'' Lily said, dropping off the plastic bag into Warren's arms, while Knuckles placed his in Tails' arms.
''Uh, there are like four boxes here,'' Warren noted, confused.
''Why did you buy so many? We only need one,'' Tails added, giving them a curious look.
''I had figured you might need spare AR Visors in case one breaks,'' Lily replied nonchalantly, shrugging. ''Don't worry, money isn't a problem for me.''
Tails turned to Knuckles.
''Do you want to pick one?'' he asked.
''I don't mind what kind of AR Visor I will get, as long as it provides a solution to my status as an Irregular,'' Knuckles replied. Tails simply nodded, grabbing a box and taking out a pair of goggles with purple lenses and light gray frames. After installing the necessary program, he gave them to Knuckles, who placed them around his neck, looking proud.
''I believe that all that is left is to negotiate with your parents for your freedom,'' he said, looking at Lily, who just nodded in response.
xXx
Knuckles stepped back, waiting for his opponent, a gorilla-like ARNav dressed in a security uniform, to make the next move. The gorilla ARNav pressed his hands together, bringing down the clenched fist, with Knuckles leaping back and avoiding having his skull bashed in, the attack leaving the floor cracked. The gorilla ARNav suddenly looked up, his eyes widening as Knuckles came down, punching him straight into the ground, leaving his opponent beaten.
''I believe that this battle is over,'' Knuckles said as he stepped back as the ARNav groaned in pain, and then turned to Lily and her parents. ''I won the challenge. Do you have more warriors I need to prove myself against?''
Lily glanced at her parents, her arms folded across her chest and grinned smugly. ''I told you that Knuckles could beat anyone.''
Anthony and Lauren Crystle were completely baffled by the echidna's strength, not to mention the fact that he had managed to beat the highly-trained security ARNavs they had hired to be Lily's bodyguard. They turned to their daughter, who was standing expectantly, waiting for their response. Technically, she was in deep trouble for running away from home and her parents were furious when Bennet informed them that their daughter was missing. The anger didn't dissipate when she returned with the red echidna in tow, who introduced himself as Knuckles and called himself Lily's Guardian, especially since they had already chosen one. In the end, the security guard ARNav had challenged Knuckles to a sparring match to test each other's skills, with the latter agreeing.
''I hope that you are happy now,'' Lily continued. ''We made a deal.''
''We know that we made a deal, but that still won't save you from being grounded,'' Lauren said, giving her daughter a stern look. Lily just glared back, realizing that she'd be stuck in this gilded cage until she was old and grey.
''Dishonor!'' Knuckles walked up to Lily's parents. ''You gave your daughter your word, and she completed the quest you set, yet you refuse to keep your promise. Are you really willing to go back on your word? You should be ashamed!''
Lily stared at Knuckles, completely stunned. Even though she could be snappy and disgruntled, she never really had the courage to talk to her parents like that, calling them out on their own nonsense in front of their faces. She completely admired the red echidna. She then glanced at her parents, who were completely shocked, unable to respond.
Lily then stepped next to Knuckles, staring down at her parents. ''Knuckles is right. I did what you asked me to do, and I left because you didn't give me any choice. All I want is for you to finally let me leave this place for once on my own. Knuckles is going to watch out for me and make sure I stay safe. Everyone wins.''
Lily's parents were silent, seemingly processing what they had been told. It was clear to Lily and Knuckles that they wanted to fight back, but after a long frustrated groan, they relented.
''Fine,'' Lauren said, eyes narrowed as she stared at the two. ''It is obvious that we cannot force you to stay put anymore, even though I see no reason why you'd want to leave our house. You have everything you want here.''
''Since you're going to guard our daughter, you are not allowed to leave her side at any point as long as you're outside the family premises,'' Anthony told Knuckles. The echidna warrior simply nodded, acknowledging the order.
Once the conversation was over, Lily and Knuckles left, walking through the mansion, with Lily giving Knuckles a giddy look. ''I can't believe I'm finally free, and it is all thanks to you!''
''While I may have hand in helping you achieve your goal, you still took a stand for your own freedom,'' Knuckles pointed out. ''Your determination is praiseworthy.''
''I'm not the only one whose determination is praiseworthy. You had been trying to find a way to fulfill your purpose for a long time, right?'' Lily asked. Knuckles nodded.
''I admit, I had my doubts, but I am glad that I didn't waver in my attempts to reach my goal,'' he replied.
''I would really like to hear more about your adventures,'' Lily said. ''How about we go outside and you tell me everything?''
''I'd be happy to entertain you with my tales,'' Knuckles replied, knowing that, from now on, he was starting a new life as Lily's Guardian.
xXx
-Present Day-
Lily took a deep breath, holding up her gloved hands as she eyed the hanging punching bag Knuckles was supporting for her. She was in her kickboxing training outfit, a red crop top and black yoga pants, her bare feet tied in sports tape, and her long magenta-dyed hair tied in a high ponytail. She took a deep breath and then delivered a series of rapid punches and kicks to the bag, forcing Knuckles to keep it steady.
''Your warrior training is quite commendable,'' Knuckles said as Lily stepped back to readjust herself. ''You have mastered the art of discipline and focus, and your punches, while way weaker than mine, still have an impact.''
''That is a high praise coming from you, Knux,'' Lily said, grinning and nodding. ''I'm honored.''
''As you should be,'' Knuckles replied, waiting for Lily to deliver the next punch, only for her to lower her arms. He gave her a questioning look. ''Why are you hesitating?''
''I was thinking that perhaps, we could try out Chaos Surge and see just how strong one punch from either of us would be,'' Lily suggested. Knuckles paused for a moment, then nodded.
''Very well,'' he said. ''It is very smart of you to try test our new powers in a training environment before we can use them on the battlefield.''
''Not to mention, since this is my private gym, if something breaks, I can just replace it,'' Lily added, extending her hand. Knuckles accepted it.
''Chaos Surge!''
Both were enveloped in a red, electrifying aura. Knuckles then stepped back, allowing Lily to go first. Lily took another deep breath, winding up for the punch and then unleashed everything she had. To her shock, the punching bag flew right across the gym, the chain that kept it hanging breaking and the bag itself falling apart. Lily stared at it in shock, her jaw dropped.
''Ho-ly…'' she trailed off, looking at Knuckles, who observed the torn punching bag, his arms folded on his chest. He turned to Lily, looking quite proud.
''Now, that is a punch worth of a warrior.''
''Thank you,'' Lily replied, feeling her heart race as her expression fell. ''You're so far the only one to notice that.''
''I understand that you desire your parents' recognition as well, yet they deny you that honor over and over again. Do you still want to continue to seek it?'' Knuckles asked, giving Lily a curious look. She lowered her arms as she pondered his words.
''Honestly, I feel like the answer to this would be 'No', but…'' Lily was hesitant, starting to remove her gloves, revealing the sports tape she wrapped around her hands and wiping the sweat from her brow.
''You feel as if you cannot escape the expectations you had been subjected to,'' Knuckles finished her thought. Lily swallowed, nodding. ''It is your parents' responsibility to recognize your independence, just as it is your responsibility to recognize your own strengths and weaknesses. You have already made several decisions to improve your situation and you are taking steps to make your stand, which is admirable. So, for the sake of your future, make sure you don't falter.''
''I will keep that in mind,'' Lily said, grinning as she held up her clenched fist. Knuckles approached her, softly bumping her fist with his own. ''I'm really lucky I have you as my guardian. Not only do I have a good teacher, but more importantly, a great friend who supports me.''
''The feeling is mutual. I have to thank you for giving me the opportunity to fulfill my purpose,'' Knuckles replied, a warm smile forming on his lips.
Lily nodded, grabbing her AR Visor to check the time. ''We will have to leave soon. I guess I'll just later put an order for a new punching bag.''
''Perhaps you should order several,'' Knuckles noted, smirking. ''The Chaos Surge training has just begun.''
''I'll keep that in mind,'' Lily said, grabbing a towel and running off to the bathroom to shower.
Knuckles just walked over to the torn bag and hoisted it easily despite the fact that it was almost twice as long as he was tall and quite heavy. He walked out of the gym, coming across Bennet, who was starstruck by what he saw.
''M-Master Knuckles… What happened?'' he asked.
''The training equipment is faulty,'' Knuckles told the butler, giving the old man the punching bag, with Bennet immediately sinking under its weight, barely holding it up. ''Please dispose of it.''
Bennet stared at the echidna in stunned silence as he turned on his heel and left, thinking about just how much things had changed in the Crystle Mansion since he had arrived. Not only was Lily becoming a lot more unruly, her behavior being far from the polite and poised little girl Bennet helped to raise, but now they were also breaking expensive equipment. While her parents allowed Knuckles to stay, Bennet personally blamed the red echidna for causing her to act this way. He was especially annoyed by the fact that Lily would just leave and return to the mansion whenever she wanted. He also didn't have a high opinion of her so-called ''friends'' either. He felt that none of them should even be allowed on the Crystle Mansion premises, but he had no choice but to do what either Lily or Knuckles told him.
''This is a disaster,'' Bennet muttered under his breath.
xXx
''I believe that this is it,'' Lucas said as he and Sonic stood in front of the Kageura residence, checking the tracking app on their AR Visors. He and Sonic exchanged glances. ''Let's hope these two will agree to come along.''
''I have a good feeling about this,'' Sonic replied optimistically. He and Lucas approached the front door, knocking on it. A few moments later, it was opened by a glasses-wearing woman, who gave the two a curious look.
''Hello? May I help you?'' she asked.
''My name is Lucas Kinomoto, and this Sonic, my partner,'' Lucas introduced himself and Sonic. ''Do Touka Kageura and Shadow live here?''
Lucas and Sonic noticed the strange look the woman was giving them, looking baffled for a moment, only to ask, ''Why are you asking for them? Are you their friends?''
Lucas wanted to answer, but Sonic was faster, not missing a beat, ''Yeah, we are.''
Lucas raised an eyebrow, noting that he and Sonic could hardly be referred to as Touka and Shadow's friends. Maybe acquaintances at best, but certainly not friends. Sonic ignored Lucas' raised eyebrow, tapping on the ground with his foot, waiting for the woman to decide whether she was going to let them in. It was obvious that Touka and Shadow were inside the house and he was looking forward to talking to them.
''I'm sorry, it's just strange to me that Touka or Shadow never mentioned any of you,'' the woman replied, looking a little suspicious.
''Yeah, they aren't exactly the most social people, pretty grumpy too, but we helped each other out several times,'' Sonic replied casually. The woman stood quiet for a moment, then stepped back.
''Okay, you may come inside,'' she said, with Lucas and Sonic walking into the hallway. ''I'm Kisaki Kageura. Touka and Shadow were here for breakfast and, unless they sneaked out past me, they should be still upstairs in their room.''
Kisaki led the two upstairs, with Lucas and Sonic looking at the doors, wondering which one led to Touka and Shadow's room. Instead, Kisaki just grabbed a broom leaned against a nearby wall and walked up to the hatch above on the ceiling, knocking on it.
''Touka, Shadow! Your friends are here!'' she called out, stepping back when she heard steps from above. The hatch then opened, with Shadow's head poking out upside down and looking down at the three, a frown spread on his expression. Sonic just waved at him nonchalantly.
''Hey, Shad!''
''What are you doing here?'' Shadow growled, glaring at Sonic. Sonic grinned in response.
''We are here to talk to you and Touka about something important,'' Sonic said. ''Could you come downstairs or should we join you in the attic?''
''How did you find us?'' Shadow responded instead of answering Sonic's question, still glaring at the blue hedgehog.
''We forgot to tell you that the tracking app installed in the AR Visor hadn't been turned off,'' Sonic explained, smiling sheepishly. Shadow looked up, instinctively reaching for the goggles on the top of his head, vanishing back inside the room.
Kisaki looked at Lucas and Sonic, giving the two a questioning look, with Lucas and Sonic just shrugging in response. Admittedly, she had feared that letting the two inside was a mistake, but the fact that they knew about Shadow, someone no one beside her and Touka should be aware of, made her change her mind. It was obvious that Shadow wasn't too happy to see Sonic and Lucas, but at least he knew them and didn't act too hostile.
Suddenly, the ladder came down, with Touka taking a few steps down, still holding onto the entrance to the attic with her hand. She gave Lucas and Sonic an annoyed look. ''Fine, we are going to talk. You can come upstairs.''
''Thanks!'' Sonic replied, him and Lucas climbing into the room. Kisaki remained standing in the hallway, having noticed Touka's irritation and feeling guilty about letting the two inside. She hoped that she did the right thing though, leaving for downstairs.
Meanwhile, Lucas and Sonic were looking around the attic, with Sonic zipping from one side to another, being quite curious about the stuff Touka had in her room. His exploration was stopped by Shadow, who stepped right in front of him, causing Sonic to almost crash into him.
''Can't you stand still for five minutes, Hedgehog?'' Shadow asked him, arms folded across his chest.
''The best I can do is two,'' Sonic replied nonchalantly. Shadow's eyes narrowed.
''Do you want me to force you to stand still?'' he asked, his quills bristling. Sonic could sense a faint build up of Chaos energy within him and gave him a sheepish smile.
''I don't think that's necessary,'' Sonic replied, plopping on the couch. Lucas just sighed in exasperation over his partner's antics, joining him on the couch. Touka just leaned against her bed, while Shadow remained standing next to her.
''Okay, what do you two want from us? Besides telling us about the tracking app,'' Touka asked.
''We wanted to ask you if you could join us in a meeting with everyone else who had been at Codex,'' Lucas said, quickly adding, ''Excluding Ferra and Metal Sonic, for obvious reasons.''
''Why do you want us there?'' Shadow asked.
''We planned to reveal that part at the meeting,'' Sonic replied.
''Let's just say that is has something to do with investigating Codex, and that's why we need you to come along,'' Lucas added. ''Would you be okay with that?''
Lucas and Sonic observed Touka and Shadow's expression, both frozen into a permanent scowl. Lucas knew that neither of them would probably want anything to do with Codex anymore, but he had hoped that they would at least consider to hear what he has to say. Touka glanced at Shadow.
''What do you think?'' she asked.
''I'll leave this decision up to you. You know these people better than I do,'' Shadow replied. Touka's face fell, as he had hoped for some advice from her partner, but Shadow decided to leave this one to her. She knew that she could trust Lucas and Sonic, as well as their friends. She wasn't even mad at them for not telling her or Shadow about the tracking app, as she had been stalking the group for a while, never joining them though.
''I guess I do owe you two for helping me reunite with Shadow,'' Touka finally said. ''Besides, you aren't the only ones interested in Codex, meaning we both have the same goal.''
''That's great!'' Sonic jumped off the couch, stepping in front of the two. ''I'm glad you two are joining us!''
''Only because we have a common goal doesn't mean that we are friends,'' Shadow responded, annoyed by Sonic's eagerness. Why was the blue hedgehog so excited to have him around? They did nothing but fight ever since they met. He noticed that Sonic did look a little upset, if not sad over his refusal. He shook his head lightly, adding, ''Still, I guess I can consider you an ally. After all, you tried to knock some sense into me when I was at my lowest, and I never thanked you properly for-''
Shadow was interrupted by Sonic who suddenly zipped up next to him, placing his arm over Shadow's shoulder, grinning. ''You don't have to thank me, Shad. What happened is all water under the bridge now. I would've done that for anyone.''
''First: Stop calling me Shad,'' Shadow replied, glaring at Sonic. ''Second: You are too close, Blue Hedgehog.''
''Hehehe, sorry about that, Shadow,'' Sonic quickly stepped away, still grinning.
''We should leave now, or we'll be late,'' Lucas noted, checking the time on his AR Visor.
''Heh, I can clear the distance in seconds if you want me to go ahead,'' Sonic said, stretching his arms and then glancing at Shadow, smirking confidently. ''Do you want to race?''
''Tch…'' Despite the fact that Shadow was annoyed by Sonic's optimistic and overly friendly nature, he couldn't help but smirk at the challenge Sonic had offered. He did respect the blue hedgehog's skills and power. ''You're so persistent.''
Sonic rubbed under his nose with his index finger, still grinning. ''You haven't seen anything.''
Lucas and Touka glanced at each other, both realizing that this is probably going to be a thing now. They then made their way down the ladder and the stairs, passing by Kisaki, who was in the kitchen.
''Oh, you're leaving?'' she called out to them.
''Shadow and I will be away the whole day,'' Touka replied casually.
''Okay, have fun,'' Kisaki responded, looking a little uncertain. Lucas felt a little bad for her, as there was some obvious tension between her and Touka, and had to wonder if they had an argument before he and Sonic had arrived.
''Look, I apologize for me and Sonic just barging in like that. I hope you aren't too mad at your mum for letting us in,'' Lucas said as he and Touka drove off on their hoverboards, Sonic following them on foot, while Shadow was skating next to them.
''Kisaki isn't my mother,'' Touka replied, her eyes narrowing as she glanced at Lucas, whose eyes widened in astonishment, matching Sonic's. ''I consider her my guardian, and that's it. I already have enough on my plate to even give a damn about explaining my situation.''
''You guys got a really rough deal,'' Sonic said, looking at Shadow, giving him a sympathetic look.
''It appears that things aren't going to improve,'' Shadow replied sarcastically, with Sonic just smirking in response.
xXx
''So, I guess everyone wants to know what Sonic and I had gathered you all here,'' Lucas started, observing the group inside the workshop. Everyone was giving the duo a curious look, but remained silent. Lucas felt a little anxious, remembering how he never liked having to do presentations in front of his entire class, but after taking a deep breath, continued, ''We wanted to know whether you all would agree to establish a team.''
''A team?'' Minami asked, looking as confused as everyone else.
''What Lucas meant to say is that he observed that we all worked well together and had figured that we might as well make it official,'' Sonic explained.
''That is, if you all agree,'' Lucas added, rubbing the back of his head. ''I mean, I know we all only know each other for a very short time, with a few exceptions, but still, if something happens and we're the only ones able to do anything, I think that we should interfere.''
''Now, that's a bold statement coming from you, Lucas,'' Warren commented, having to admit that his childhood friend had changed quite a lot over the past weeks. Lucas usually used to be very passive, not wanting to participate in any action, but now he was the one leading the charge. Lucas just smiled and shrugged in response.
''In addition, I don't want to get any of you into trouble with the authorities or Irregular Hunters. Once again, this is your decision,'' Lucas added, gazing at every human and Irregular in the room. There was a moment of silence, with everyone exchanging glances with their partners, only for the answers to come back in rapid succession, the first ones to voice their opinion being Warren and Tails.
''You can count both of us in,'' Warren said, with Tails nodding in agreement.
''Do you really think we would just refuse?'' Tails added.
''Honestly, we didn't,'' Sonic replied, folding his arms across his chest. Knuckles stepped towards Sonic.
''We will also stand beside you,'' he said, pointing at himself and Lily. ''You may be good at fighting, but your skills are still unrefined.''
''Therefore, someone has to watch over you,'' Lily added, smirking confidently.
''We appreciate the help,'' Sonic said, snorting, then glanced at Minami and Amy.
''What do you think?'' Minami asked rhetorically, rising an eyebrow, with Sonic and Lucas shrugging.
''To make it clear, you didn't even have to ask us that. We'd love to join you in any adventure you go on,'' Amy said, then grinned smugly as she gazed at Sonic. ''Either that, or try to bail you out of trouble.''
''We should've figured that,'' Sonic said, smiling sheepishly. He and Lucas then glanced at Silver and Makoto.
''I was sent here to protect the future, so there is no reason for me to refuse,'' Silver said resolutely, with Sonic nodding in acknowledgement.
''I'm with Silver. We both want to help to protect the present and future,'' Makoto said, fist-pumping.
''That's great to hear,'' Lucas commented, his gaze wandering over to Touka and Shadow, who were standing further away from everyone else, both silent. He genuinely wanted them on the team as well, but he knew that there was hardly any way he'd be able to convince them. Neither looked like they wanted to be here, unless necessary, and they already had their own problems they needed to deal with; and Lucas respected that. Sonic, on the other hand, didn't get the memo. Instead, he zipped right across the room, stepping in front of the two, extending his hand to Shadow.
''I know that you're not particularly fond of any of us, but I still don't mind working with you,'' Sonic said, smiling. Shadow stared at him for a moment, then folded his arms across his chest.
''I couldn't care less about this world, or the humans that live on it. I am here solely to protect Touka,'' Shadow responded.
''I understand,'' Sonic replied, placing his hands on the back of his head and giving Shadow a knowing smirk. ''But, what happens if you cannot protect Touka on your own?''
Shadow stared at him for a moment, not showing any emotion. However, Sonic already had an idea what was going through Shadow's head, even if the latter wouldn't admit it.
''That will never happen,'' Shadow responded calmly, although he didn't sound like he was convinced. After all, if it weren't for Sonic and his friends, Touka would've died and Shadow wouldn't have been none the wiser.
''Touka, what about you?'' Sonic turned to Touka. ''After all, you had been following us from the very start.''
''If you want to know, the only reason I had been hanging around with you because your appearance had jolted my memories,'' Touka admitted, staring at Sonic. This surprised everyone.
''Really?'' Sonic smiled. ''I'm glad that I could help you.''
''Aside from that, I want to know first what exactly you two had planned,'' Touka continued. ''You said that you wanted to investigate the Codex Research Facility and that you need me and Shadow for that.''
''Right. We want to investigate the Codex Research Facility in order to make sure no one takes advantage of it to threaten Neos City again,'' Lucas said. ''Since you two lived there, we had figured that you two should be our guides.''
''Not to mention, you said that you wanted to investigate the place as well,'' Sonic added. Touka and Shadow exchanged glances, with Shadow then gazing at Sonic and his friends, his arms folded across his chest.
''I have told you my thoughts on this, and I'm not going to change my mind,'' he said. ''My loyalty lies solely with Touka, so any decision she makes, I will follow.''
Everyone's attention was on Touka, who didn't feel comfortable with everyone staring at her. After a moment of silence, she sighed.
''Fine, but don't expect me to act all buddy-buddy with you guys,'' she relented.
''Hey, that is fine by us,'' Minami replied.
''I guess that was kind of expected,'' Warren added, shrugging. Regardless of the responses, everyone seemed to approve of them, making Touka and Shadow wonder whether they're going to regret this decision.
''Okay, we still need to figure out what our team's name is going to be,'' Sonic said, drawing everyone's attention.
''Do we even need one?'' Silver asked.
''Of course we do!'' Sonic responded, grinning. ''So, any ideas? I have a couple.''
''Then, let us hear them,'' Amy suggested.
''I was thinking about Team Alpha Bravo,'' Sonic said, only for the smile to fade when he saw everyone's looks of disapproval. ''Uh, then how about Super Irregular ARNav Team Hyper Force Go.''
''That's way too long,'' Tails replied.
''I don't believe that it would do us any good to have 'Irregular' in our team name,'' Knuckles added.
''Do you guys have any better ideas?'' Sonic asked. There was a moment of silence, with some shrugging or shaking their heads. Apparently, coming up with a team name was a lot harder than they thought.
''Uh, I don't know… Team Blue?'' Amy suggested.
''I think it should be a team name that isn't just referring to Sonic, but all of us,'' Makoto said.
''Maybe…'' Sonic opened his mouth to suggest another name, only to see Shadow glaring at him.
''No.''
''But, I didn't say anything!''
''Exactly.''
Sonic rose an eyebrow, then smirked, deciding to involve the dark-furred hedgehog into the conversation.
''Do you have any idea for a name, Shadow?'' he asked.
''I'll pass,'' Shadow responded in typical curt fashion. ''Besides, someone has to shot down the stupid ideas.''
''Unfortunately, he is right,'' Minami said. ''The ideas you had so far weren't the best.''
''Guys, how about Team Neos?'' Silver suggested, drawing everyone's attention. ''I mean, we all want to protect Neos City, and I think it has a good ring to it.''
''I like it,'' Amy said, with the rest of the group agreeing. Silver smiled proudly, then turned towards Lucas and Sonic.
''We have the name, now all we need is a leader,'' he said. Sonic blinked in surprise, pointing with his index finger at himself.
''Wait, you mean… me?'' he asked, with Silver nodding. Sonic shook his head. ''No, I will stop you right there. I don't want to be a leader.''
''Why not?'' Makoto asked.
''Because I'm not leader material. I had figured that this team would be something where everyone can contribute,'' Sonic explained.
''That is still going to happen, but we would need someone who'd take control of the situation and coordinate us,'' Lily noted. ''Not to mention, you and Lucas are pretty much the reason why we're all here in the first place, so this makes sense.''
''Forget it,'' Sonic replied, shaking his head. ''My shtick is to run around and save the day. I want to help people, but I don't want to be tied down by the responsibility of being the one in charge.''
''Would it be fine with you if I accept?'' Lucas asked, with Sonic giving him a surprised look. ''You don't have to take the responsibility of being a leader, I can take care of that.''
''If you feel like you can do it, then I'm fine with that,'' Sonic replied.
''Alright, then we had all reached an agreement,'' Lucas said, with the rest of the group approving. ''Now, we can finally focus on the Codex Research Facility and its secrets.''

Note
the fact that loki trusted mobius enough to actually talk about what he truly feels within 10 minutes of meeting him and yet hes never trusted thor enough to do any of that
:(
okay but loki's actually lost everything including thor by being displaced from the entire timeline.......... you could drop loki in any corner of the galaxy while still in the universe and he'd at the very minimum always have a connection to thor (or asgard, or jotunheim, or midgard,)
#it's not like he was acting out or anything#he's cried on numerous occasions#and he's lost things and been confused before#but it's just happened AGAIN#and this time it's literally out of his depth#like#the infinity stones don't work here and *neither does magic*#i liked the thing with the magic because even when he has the bare minimum knowledge and resources he still managed#he still drove a small corner of the TVA into a frenzy and stayed out of their reach#he went on and did his research and found out ''hey so this isn't a prank and your fate was going to be a gruesome ill-timed die''#i LOVED how it was the stones that convinced him#surely he could recognize the memories and believe the frigga clip if he wanted#the TVA showed they can stop his magic and hey have the ability to disintegrate him on touch#but he still denied it and then went back to watch the end of the story after finding out it's all true#he fought with B-15 and he could've fought with mobius too#but he didn't and it was specifically to ask if it was possible to return where he came from#because even when loki knows he likes asking you know?#he did the same thing in the vault#i bet it makes a huge difference that there he was talking to Odin while here#even though he's known mobius 10 minutes the guy's expressed both appreciation and questions for why he does stuff#mobius was out of line for a few assumptions and retorts but that's more respect for failure than loki's gotten before?????#the man frames loki's life as loki losing a lot...... but also halping bring out the best in others#like.............that's SOMETHING ya know#and loki's in a situation where it's die or run and then die bc he's seen what the TVA deal with with their drawers of infinity stones#honestly best decision he could make is to do his best to not die XD#the Loki show#loki spoilers#loki show spoilers#the show is treating loki so much better than ragnarok and still being funny it's great

Demonstration
Tumblr media
“Friends, students…” you call to their attention, “-and Sukuna.“ you added a moment later. “Today, I lost my dear friend Gojo Satoru.”
“Quit telling everyone I’m dead, (Y/N).”
Ignoring the voice coming from behind, you adorned a frown on your face. “Sometimes, I can still hear his voice.”
“I’m not dead!”
“He was many things: a teacher, a friend, a confidant. Now, was he good at these things? The answer is no.”
“Hey!”
“But we must not speak ill of those who are not with us anymore.” you continued.
Most of the Tokyo students nod their heads in agreement, while some of the Kyoto students kept glancing from you to a figure behind.
“It’s as if he’s in the room with us, right now.” You bring a hand to your mouth to prevent a sob (laugh) from escaping, at the sound of Gojo’s whines. “But as you all may know, curses like to act like those who we miss, so we mustn’t be tricked. Therefore, if for whatever reason you happen to see something that resembles Gojo Satoru, please exorcise it with your fullest ability, so that we may all one day move on and allow time to heal our hearts.”
One of the Kyoto students, Miwa Kasumi, blinked in confusion, unable to understand what was going on. You were standing in front of everyone participating in the sister school exchange event, mourning over Gojo Satoru’s death- while the said jujutsu sorcerer was standing behind you, tugging on your arms to get you to look in his direction.
“Am I the only one who sees Gojo-sensei alive?” she whispered to a nearby Tokyo student sitting next to her, who happened to be Maki Zenin.
Maki shook her head. “If (Y/N)-sensei says that the idiot is dead, then he is.”
“Tuna-mayo.” Inumaki agreed, nodding his head.
“Best if you just go with it.” Panda whispered back to the still confused girl.
It seemed as though everyone else from the Kyoto branch had no complaints, accepting your words as the truth with a nod of their heads.
“(Y/N)!!” Gojo whined, placing his chin on your shoulder. “I said I was sorry.”
Your patience with the tall man-child had finally reached its max.
“Sorry?!” You flicked his forehead off of you, and pushed his face away. “I leave for one week, and you basically bulldoze half the campus forest to prevent a special-grade curse from running away, who might I add, was able to run away again! And then, I find out you were the one who ate my food that I had been saving in the freezer.”
Gojo merely shrugged at your accusations. “I was on a time crunch with the first one. And as for the second thing, it’s not my fault someone should’ve wrote their name on their mochi ice cream if they didn’t want someone else eating it.”
“I did write my name on the box, and I know you fucking ate it!”
“There in lies your mistake, sweetheart. You should’ve written your name on the mochi itself. How was I supposed to know it was yours once I threw away the box?”
“Because my name was on the box, you motherfu-“
“Shouldn’t we trying to stop them from killing each other?” Yuuji whispered to Megumi, who was watching their teachers bicker with a straight face.
“Yaga-sensei will eventually stop them.” Megumi replied nonchalantly, as the boys overheard you screaming at Gojo.
“I told you the last time you ate my stuff, you would be dead to me!”
“You can’t just kill me off, (Y/N).”
“We’ll never know unless we try, now will we?” you argued.
And just as Megumi had said, Principle Yaga grabbed Gojo by his collar to prevent you from choking the man to death.
“Alright, that’s enough you two.” Yaga ordered, making you weaken the strangling grip you held on Gojo’s neck. “We should go ahead and start the baseball game.”
The hostility on your face quickly morphed into a smile, at your sensei’s words.
“Sensei, don’t you think we should give the students a demonstration beforehand?”
“Is that really necessary?” Gojo complained, massaging his neck in pain.
“Of course it is! After all, you were the one who suggested the game, you should be the one to show them how to properly hit a ball.”
Yaga just sighed, nodding his head to your suggestion.
“Just try not to kill him please, (Y/N).”
Your smile grew wider, causing a shiver to run down Gojo’s back.
“Can’t make any promises, sensei.”
_________
Yuuji looked out from the sidelines onto the baseball field, watching Gojo stare appreciatively at the sight of you stretching on the pitcher’s mound.
“Don’t we all know how to play baseball?” he wondered aloud.
“Did you just figure that out, dummy?” Nobara retorted.
“Then why the need for the demonstration?”
“Because we all want to see Gojo-sensei get pummeled by (Y/N)-sensei.” Maki responded.
“But isn’t he just going to use his technique?”
“Her technique basically cancels his out.”
“Huh? How?”
“Gojo-sensei’s techniques deal with infinite time, and (Y/N)-sensei’s technique deals with manipulating time.”
“But no matter how fast you speed time up, you can never reach infinity, right?” Yuuji tried to reason, thinking back on the lectures he slept through in his math classes.
“In that case, yes.” Panda answered. “Infinity requires time to function. But if time were to stop, infinity would be cancelled out, because having an infinite number of nothing would still leave you with nothing.”
“Not to mention (Y/N)-sensei has a wicked throw.” Maki added.
And shortly, a few moments later, a cry of pain was heard from the batter’s box.

Gojo pouted as you returned to him with a bag of ice, placing it gently on his cheek.
“Ow!” he whined from the sudden coldness. “You could’ve gone a little softer with that pitch, sweetheart.”
“Please, you deserved it.” you said, rolling your eyes.
But seeing the light bruise formed on the side of his face, you couldn’t help but feel slightly guilty.
Lifting the ice bag momentarily, you placed a soft kiss on his bruised cheek, immediately silencing him.
“Does it feel better now?” you asked.
He nodded quickly. “But, you missed a spot. I got hit here too.” he said, pointing to his puckered lips.
You rolled your eyes, seeing right through his play; but gave in to his request, nonetheless. As you motioned to step back from the kiss, Gojo snaked his arms around your waist, bringing your body flush against his with your lips still attached to his.
He finally let you breathe a long minute later, after you hit his chest repeatedly for air.
“Now I feel a bit better.” he sighed, contentedly, before adding, “But I do think I’m going to need more intensive care tonight in my room.”
“Hmmm, is that so.” you thought, placing a hand on his other, non bruised cheek with a smile.
Gojo burrowed his face into your palm, with a playful smirk.
A quiet second later, right when he least expected it, you lightly slapped his cheek, quickly squirming out of his grasp. You dodged his grabby hands, a laugh escaping your lips when a pout made its way back onto his face.
“I’ll be sure to ask Yaga-sensei to stop by your room tonight then.” you smiled, furthering the distance between you two.
“No, (Y/N)!” Gojo whined, quickly chasing after you.

The Spartan and His Pyro- Confession part 2- Master Chief X OC
Sometimes the biggest misunderstandings stem from our deepest insecurities.
Tumblr media
He wasn’t sure when she’d become the brightest part of his day, but that such was the case became very apparent to him when she began to feel gray. He didn’t know why she was like a ray of sunshine to him, but it was undeniable that he felt lighter inside when her smell lingered on his clothes after the night Blue Team had spent cave dwelling.
Ever since, the only thing on his mind had been how well she fit in his hands. Like she belonged there.
He found himself wondering if there was some excuse he could fabricate to recreate the situation that had called for such action, or if the fact that he desired it was reason enough.
John watched as Catherine laid back against the bench in a secluded corner of the bench, preparing to lift a bit more weight than she usually did. His eyes narrowed on her form as she struggled with it for a moment, lowering the bar twice before her arms began to shake. He was moving towards her in a heartbeat, brushing past other marines and Spartans alike.
He was two feet from the redhead when a hand shot out to catch the bar as her arms buckled, but it wasn’t Johns. The Chief locked eyes with Spartan Thorne, his nostril flaring ever so slightly before he forced a calm breath in and out.
Catherine hadn’t noticed him yet, offering Thorne a grateful smile that made the Master Chief’s stomach churn. He took another deep breath. “I think that’s enough for today.”
The redhead jumped, her head whipping in his direction. “I’m fine, Chief. Just a little accident.” She seemed nervous for some reason, and he couldn’t quite place why. Had his observation of her interaction with the Spartan IV upset her?
“An accident that could have broken your neck,” If Thorne hadn’t been there. John watched her shoulders practically wilt, and he may as well have been stabbed in the gut. No, he hadn’t meant it like that.
“What your commander is trying to say is we prefer your head on your shoulders,” Thorne said, bumping her shoulder.
Shut up. John blinked in surprise as the thought slipped into his head before he could stop himself. But then Catherine chuckled, and the Chief felt his shoulders tense. Stop making her laugh. He wasn’t good at making her laugh.
Without another word, he turned on his heel, but not before nodding respectfully to the other Spartan, and returned to his own workout. He didn’t like the ugly jealousy bubbling in the back of his mind. He needed to concentrate. He was supposed to be a leader, an example. A protector to his team. That didn’t give him the right to bare his teeth at fellow soldiers who intended no ill will.
At least he doubted Thorne had no ill will. Catherine was an attractive woman, with brilliant hair and sparkly eyes. Even if she didn’t realize it, she caught the attention of more than a few men on the Infinity. Including the Master Chief himself.
~
It was late in the evening when he found her in a private section of the Rec Hall. She’d curled up on a large sofa, watching reruns of an old television show on the home theater screen. “You’re up late,” he murmured, taking a seat beside her.
The redhead glanced in his direction, her gaze not rising to his face as she fiddled with her hands in her lap. “I needed to speak to Linda. I didn’t feel like going to bed afterwards.”
“Can I ask what about?” His hand hovered over her shoulder contemplatively for a moment, before settling there as a comforting weight.
“Just… a personal problem. Something stupid and emotional. It was a distraction, I was hoping she could help clear my head, but now I just feel even more confused.” Catherine pulled her knees up to her chest, making herself look even smaller.
What was she supposed to say to him? That she felt this pressure, this strain in her chest knowing he was just out of reach. That it was eating away at her little by little? He probably wouldn’t understand.
John tilted his head curiously at her. She was upset, it seemed. With what he couldn’t discern. Herself maybe? Did she feel she’d done something wrong? He knew she could be hot tempered, and somewhat emotional when it came to making decisions. He’d experienced it first hand when she’d originally been placed on Blue Team.
She had quite the tongue when she was displeased with someone. Especially in the early days of their partnership when she hadn’t known how to take orders. It had been annoying at first, until he’d begun to understand that something about her wasn’t entirely right.
After months of time to grow into her place on Blue Team, and a lot of patience on his part, they had found a rhythm that worked. He had a feeling, however, that a large part of why they got along so much better now was due to her deeper understanding of his Spartans, and himself for that matter.
“Maybe I could offer some advice?” He could have pinpointed the moment her heart dropped into her stomach if he was going off the way her face flushed and her eyes widened.
“Oh. I…that’s-” A terrible idea? A one way ticket to embarrassment town? Or maybe…insightful. “It’s not important, but I suppose…if it’s not too trivial.
The Chief wasn’t sure if he should read her reaction as a positive one or not. She had agreed, but she’d seemed rather hesitant to do so.
“If it was too much to ask I wouldn’t have offered.”
Catherine bit her lip, nodding as she puffed out her cheeks anxiously. “Right. Well…” Get on with it. “There's a guy. An…attractive guy.” John raised a brow at her and Catherine wanted to slam her head into a wall. “A guy who…who I may have feelings for.”
The Chief felt as if his chest had suddenly become very hollow, the hand on her shoulder becoming heavier than it had before. The slip of emotion was gone in seconds however as he cleared his face into an emotionless mask. “Oh?”
“Yeah, and until now I’ve just ignored it,” she explained with a nervous laugh. “But it’s becoming more of a distraction.”
John nodded, trying to seem invested in her rambling, but his mind was far away. Was it Thorne? They had merely seemed to be casual acquaintances, but maybe that was all it took. The spartan forced himself out of the envious corner of his mind, his eyes settling on her soft frown as she stared at her hands in her lap.
He really had no right to be upset. He held no claim over her. If being with Thorne would make her happy, who was he to keep her from that? It was his job as her commander and her friend to care for her. Even if it meant pushing aside the weight in his chest.
“Have you considered speaking to him directly about the issue?”
Catherine chuckled softly, wiping a palm across her face. “I doubt that would be workplace appropriate given the circumstances. The last thing I want is to make anyone uncomfortable.” John couldn’t help but think it was too late for that. “Besides, he’s a little…out of my league,” she admitted, and the Chief’s eyes narrowed.
Thorne wasn’t out of her league. Who had given her that sort of idea? He’d be damned if anyone made her feel as if she wasn’t good enough. “You’re greatly underestimating your value if that’s really what you believe,” the Chief said gruffly.
Her eyes widened in surprise at the declaration, and John wondered if he’d just shown his hand. “You think so?”
“Does it matter what I think?”
Catherine’s eyes softened, her hand settling atop his, and John felt as if he was going to be sick. This was it. This was all he would ever get. “Of course it does. You’re my friend.”
Her Friend. John let out a deep sigh as he squeezed her shoulder. “I think you should tell him. Write it down if that’s less daunting.”
Catherine laughed softly, much to the Spartan’s surprise. “You mean write a love letter?”
He really wished she hadn’t called it that. “I suppose so.”
“That wouldn’t be so bad I guess. I’ve already written a few anyway,” she mumbled, her facing growing rather red again.
At first he didn’t catch it, until he did, and the spartan felt his jaw go slack. “Wait,” he rumbled in that low voice of his. “Is that what Kelly took-”
“Oh no. Can we please not talk about that,” she murmured, pinching the bridge of her nose.
John swallowed thickly. Thank God he hadn’t read whatever was in that letter.

Clumsy
Summary: Serendipity, it’s the only way Steve can describe it. His ma was right: he’d always been slow.
Pairing: Steve Rogers/Reader
A/N: Fluff with a tiny sprinkle of Steve angst because I love one sad boi. Written for @wkemeup‘s 4K Challenge like an entire year ago!! I’m so sorry, Kas!! The prompt was Bright Eyes’ “First Day of My Life”. 2.8k words.
Tumblr media
It was supposed to rain.
Thunderclaps rolled in the distance all morning. Moisture hung heavy in the air and the earth smelled like wet already--- salty, thick, sweet. The app on his phone blinked gray clouds straight across the screen. Seventy-three degrees and a nine-five percent chance of precipitation. Winds NE 20 miles per hour.
But at 2:30 in the afternoon when Steve slides into the car, it’s clear and blue.
So he figures it’s coincidence and poor meteorology when the engine quietly rumbles to life. He fixes the collar of his shirt, checks for hotels around the midway point, and sends an uneasy look to the empty passenger seat.
Then, he makes his way to where you are.
-
The two-lane country road stretches on. Winding and curving, pitch-black and howling with wind and wildlife. Bugs splatter on the windshield and he mechanically sprays a bit of fluid, wiping them off, the squeaks giving his radio a bit of rhythm in all this late-night talk. It’ll be another half hour before he gets to the hotel and he’s still wrestling with himself if he should even break.
No reason to now. He can drive all night. No reason to other than his pride.
“So what is it?”
There’s an imprint in the seat. An outline of a warm body folding soft creases in the leather. Late night talk radio fizzles out, and he’s tired, so he can’t get too upset at his brain for seeing the shape even though it’s been months since anyone’s sat there.
He chances a look over, then quickly back ahead because sure—the sedan is small, but this tiny strip of pavement feels even smaller. Too right and he’ll careen into the woods, too left and if another car’s coming around the bend Steve would roll out alive, but he’d be the only one.
He looks again.
Legs folded. Bare feet. Ankles crossed on the dash. Casually sitting with one hand on your phone and the other one behind your head, face lit incandescent by the screen. It was the first time he’d been alone with you after New York; he remembers this.
You hadn’t even given a glance sideways at him, still fixed on the screen, thumb sliding up and focused on mission details in a perfect picture of indifference.
“Your whole thing. Mister Red-White-and-Broody, most eligible bachelor in all of America—which, by the way, is so far up your ass all fifty states might as well be coming out of your mouth—”
“Stop it.”
“Okay, Rogers.” A smirk. His last name slipping between your lips like military title. “Fine, you’re all gilded in the front, suffering in the back. So—” You turned finally, pulled your feet back and tucked them under your body, “What is it?”
Steve pretended to think, left hand clenching a fraction tighter on the wheel, feeling its strength beneath his grip. His face remained impassive and dedicated forward, turning the seconds in his head, counting down the appropriate time for his reply.
It was a game, certainly. Your assertion, your poise, hand propping up your head—all of it. Your entire being was a foil to one Steven Grant Rogers and he was strapped with you for half a week. Already the car ride was beginning to foreshadow what was quickly seeming to be a long assignment.
“It’s my job—”
“So weak.”
“I’m busy—”
“Are you even trying to lie?”
You were known to do this: lay out a path of questions that only gave your company the pretense of a genuine conversation. You’d lead them like a wrangler leading horses to water, knowing they wouldn’t drink, but giving them just enough time to stare at their own reflection in the pool before you’d yank the harness elsewhere.
It was always a short path, but what you lacked in subtlety you made up for with honesty.
Agitated, Steve snapped before he could rein himself back in.
“What are you, my psychologist?” Horse.
“You don’t have one. You are the only Avengers Tower resident who has run off every psychologist on Stark’s payroll. So--” a twist of your torso, your back pressed up against the door handle as you stared at the outline of his side profile. Wrangler.
The question dangled in front of his gritted teeth. The answer he’d known long ago was behind two perfect calcium rows, pressed up, trying to find its way through the cracks.
What’s your thing? We fought together. We live together. We suffered a cataclysmic event in the form of aliens together---so why doesn’t anybody know you?
You leaned forward, body tilting until it almost touched your former footrest. Your head sloped to find his face and when he flicked his eyes sharply to yours, Steve knew it wasn’t sharp enough.
“You don’t want to be vulnerable.”
You’d led him through the brief route of your inquisition and had seen all you cared to see. Your voice bounced off the window when you closed your eyes and turned away.
“Steve,” you sighed, mouth going to the side in a smile. “Vulnerability is clumsy, but it’s the only thing worth anything.”
He had thought: No, it isn’t. He’d spent too long being vulnerable already, and he couldn’t afford it again. Twenty years of a miserable half-life and seventy years of sleep and suddenly the world was new and different and strange. Coming back into his body was new and different and strange but it was the body that afforded him invulnerability.
Mostly, anyway.
Steve decided, then, at least he could make up for that lump of mortality—that lump of weakness—with performance.
So, he became the blacksmith to his feeble Brooklyn boy heart. Forged carbon steel, gold-plated, immaculately polished like his own shield at press conferences. Smoothed himself into a monumental display of impeccable posturing and hid the boy away where no one could reach him. Let him go back to sleep, too. Frozen in a time long passed, long forgotten.
He wasn’t Steve Rogers anymore because no one knew Steve Rogers anymore; it was the only way he could carry on. Didn’t you know?
No, he supposed, you didn’t.
On the ride back you surrendered yourself to the backseat, laying down in the most comfortable position the sedan would allow, and chatted his ear off the entire ride home. Called him Steve and looked at him through the rearview mirror. Eyes met eyes, and yours crinkled at the edges with some secret knowledge.
By the end of it, all he could think about was how he didn’t mind the conversation and that his first name even sounded a little nice coming out of your mouth.
You shimmer in the passenger side until your hair hangs a little longer. His brown leather jacket is around your shoulders. A stretch of your arms. A stretch of your lips. Months passed and Rogers befell the man you knew during the Manhattan Crisis while he became Steve.
Steve on missions and in the field—On your six, Steve! Keep up, old boy. Steve at the tower and Steve in the gym— don’t touch my weights, Steve, you’ll throw your back out.
Steve getting the door and pouring the whiskey and letting you wear his jacket when you were cold. Finding you across rooms at parties because there was an easiness to your presence that calmed the crowd. Shooting pool and watching movies. Up late and out late and laughing until the early hours.
He was Steve, your friend, because he finally allowed himself to have a friend.
You change. Shimmer again until your hair is pulled back from your swollen face. A hospital gown crinkled around your shoulders. Asleep, cold. Too close to death, too close to him. He couldn’t even sit by your bedside, only standing by the door, shuffling from one wall to the other and watched the monitors with a too-loud and static-filled brain.
He was hesitantly Steve when you stepped too close to him on the balcony nights later, hand precariously hovering over that fragile boy heart, finally pressing down on it, feeling his delicate pulse thawing and crawling towards you. Tipsy smile and you tasted like whiskey and easy joy.
The kiss was clumsy, like you’d said. Vulnerability threw him back to the 40’s, all gangly limbed and ill, his lungs malfunctioning, his breath smothered in his mouth. He stumbled, but the banister held him up.
You didn’t mind that his knees felt boneless. You chalked it up to too much drink, but the touch of your still-bruised cheek abruptly burned down his throat—warm and smooth and cataclysmic until he caught sight of the way you winced as his hand cupped your tender face. Steve stepped back, then, and apologized for what he said should have never happened.
There was a small quiver from your shoulder before you quietly went back inside.
He cursed himself on the balcony. Cursed letting it all happen in the first place. Captain Rogers watched your retreating steps, burying the spark and the fire. And the boy must have cried in his ice-block coffin when he buried him again, too.
“Don’t look at me like that.” God, he’s going crazy. Poor night-vision and an addled brain causing him to scold an empty seat. “You stopped talking to me.”
His grip on the steering wheel tightens the way it does when you’re too deep in his head and he can’t get you out. Days without hearing from you smeared together in careful steps of a cagey dance. Comments always presented as half-truths—riddles he struggled to deconstruct. Breadcrumbs never leaving enough of a trail to lead him anywhere. He wants the harness back. Wants back your confident hand.
“You could have said something.” Steve scoffs, because you always had something to say. “Anything. You could have said anything. We were—friends.”
And hell, doesn’t that sound stupid out loud? Maybe it’s best that he’s got nothing but infinity beyond the sedan’s glaring brights and a million thoughts of unsaid words. It’s all useless, anyway. Best that he can get it all out now, talking to your ghost. It keeps all his thoughts in his head and keeps him from yelling every time he sees you not-looking, not-smiling, not-talking to him.
Steve flicks the wipers on again. Shuts off the radio. Shuts off the navigation. Takes the car off cruise-control to give himself something to do. He’ll stop overnight, after all.
Suddenly then, in the distance, two glowing eyes greet him steadily. Measured paces, in a firm and crisp trajectory, growing closer and closer. Glaring and vivid, beating the monotonous grind of nighttime out of him. His pinky moves, and his high beams flip to low beams, white giving way to yellow and the glistening road signs and tree-shadows in the distance slowly diminish.
Bleached spectral glaring of leaves and road signs soften ochre and brown, indigo dark. For a fleeting moment, even Steve’s enhanced eyes feel half-blind again as he readjusts to the pitch-black night barely lit. The car coming toward him does the same, highs blinking low and they pass each other in quiet understanding. In blind trust on the dark road, dependent on each other’s good faith to see it through.
He thinks of Sarah Rogers in a tiny Brooklyn kitchen, floral wallpaper yellowed and peeling behind her. One hand on an apron-clad hip, cooking interrupted by her son stumbling in dripping blood down his shirt, her other hand clenched around a wet kitchen rag.
“Steven Grant Rogers! Oh—wretched! What else can I say,” she’d sigh as she pressed it to his nose, “You do whatever you please, anyhow. You just put this on your face—and don’t think it’ll get you out of doing the dishes, either.”
“But—” he’d attempt.
She’d put up her hand, “Lord have mercy on any young woman that’ll have you. May she have your poor mother’s patient heart.”
His ma always called him slow. A dolt through and through. Quick to temper, but laborious to do much else. Common sense always took its sweet time-- took the long path home to get to Steve Rogers. In seventy-odd years, he hasn’t changed.
Better than coincidence and better than poor meteorology. Serendipity. It’s the only way he can describe it.
Like finding a crumpled up twenty in his pocket—or in his case, a five—enough then for a week’s worth of meals. Like having that nightmare— the one right before the plane crashes and instead of going down with it, he wakes up. Like expecting to drive five hours through a storm and stopping overnight, but instead it’s clear and blue as far as he can see.
The rush, the relief, the deafening joy that shuts everything else up and out.
Sarah Rogers was right: he’d always been slow.
So he careens back onto the highway from the service road, steadying his foot on the pedal and flies about fifteen miles faster than the speed limit says he should. The car is vibrating to a thrilled beat inside his chest. Steve can’t help smiling.
-
It was supposed to rain. All the way to the next mid-morning but the sky parts a brilliant orange sunrise and he nearly sprints to the door. He doesn’t wait for it to open all the way before he barrels in. A sliver of parting wood is enough, and Steve throws it wide with his enormous shoulders, kicking it shut firmly with his boot.
The imprint of your body on the couch is still warm—you, halfway across the room in alarm—real and even warmer when Steve gathers you into his arms. He’s been awake for over 24 hours, talking to himself, talking to your hallucination, so he apologizes when his teeth click against yours in a frantic kiss.
“Rogers--!”
You pull away, dazed, a little bit pissed off, but you cow the swirl of emotions into professionalism. “What are you—you’re not supposed to be here until late—did you drive through--”
“Steve,” he interrupts, “Steve.”
He’s so tired of the long road. Can’t stand another second of maneuvering in the dark down winding paths or broken streetlight avenues you’re not at the end of so he keeps his next phrase short: “I really like you.”
You raise your brow and brush the back of your knuckles over your lips, the light from the balcony streaming over your face. His hand tenderly brushes your cheek, the same one he touched all those months ago and you blink in surprise. Quick, calculating movements even as you lean gently into his touch.
“Steve…” you say slowly before your mouth pinches together in a poor attempt to hide the smirk threatening to surface. “You drove all night to… ask me to call you Steve.”
“Well,” he shrugs, “And the mission.”
“Right, the mission. The debrief didn’t mention that it required a lot of… kissing.”
“It came up recently; I haven’t adjusted the file yet.” He grins at your rolling eyes, your swollen lips peeling back to reveal a joyful display of teeth at his stubborn defiance.
“Took you long enough,” you mumble.
You place your hand over his chest, over his heart.
You kiss him and Steve hears himself sighing into your mouth. His cheeks flush with embarrassment, but you’re not letting go, and he presses his lips to yours a little slower, a little firmer, learning the ways you like to feel him there.
“Steve,” you breathe, and it paints him in the most galvanized care. “Steve,” you say again, and his eyes slip shut, like he’s being laid to rest. And maybe he is. Finally weary of lugging around all his armor, all his pretense.
The boy emerges, thawing toward his name held sweetly in your mouth.
He fumbles with his awkward limbs—a newly birthed foal trying to find its footing—but you’re patient and enduring. He takes in his trembling body—knobby knees and gangly elbows. Inept gait still learning how to be. He takes the sights—white casting over the balcony. You, even brighter.
It was supposed to rain, but you link your fingers through his, leading him toward the open doors, smiling against a backdrop of sherbet swirls. He stumbles, but you’ve got him. A few short steps, just a few more, and Steve kisses you again in the sunbathed daybreak, resurrected and anew.

Hello, I really enjoyed your piece about Gojou's kinks in your masterlist! I was wondering if you write for male reader? Maybe a third year that Gojou likes to punish and degrade in praticular and be possessive over? (Sentimental Gojou?? He's been teaching him since his first year) Reader isn't weak or innocent but he lets Gojou treat him the way he does because he doesn't have anyone else in his life and Gojou has him wrapped around his little finger? Take it wherever you like, I'm sorry if this is too fucked up x
Is this what you wnated Im not sure!!! But i liked the request anyways 🥰 was little confused about what to do about male reader since I myself am not male! but it was fun to try i hope I did you justice on this :)
reader has Inumakis curse!!!
Gojo Satoru x male reader
my list uwu
warnings: manipulation ; non-con/dub-con(?) ; just slight degradation ; yeah im not good at this probably a couple uncomfortable stuff usage of slut etc.
Tumblr media
Gojo Satoru loves all his students, he really does yet he still can't help himself but to pick favorites. They've all grown on him, but he can't seem to take his eyes of one specific student.
It doesn't take a genius to figure out who Gojos favorites are, it's easy to tell his favorite is his beloved third year.
Picking you up since you're only fifteen, Gojo had a liking the way you just seemed to always search for his validation. For you it has always been Gojo, Gojo, Gojo.
He has his pretty boy, by a leash and he decides how long it is.
The soccerer hums happily when he sees you in the classroom all alone, stepping inside he closes the room, causing you to look up at him.
"(Y/n)~" he calls almost too sweetly and puts his hand on the table pushing whatever you've been doing out of the way.
The rattling of paper, is heard. Before the paper could even land on the floor. He pulled down your mask to reveal your curse pattern, gripping you by your jaw "(Y/n)" he repeats and you look at him, eyes staring at his blindfold where his would usually be, yet you couldn't help yourself but trail from his blindfold to his rosy lips.
Just staring at him not able to say a word.
"Am I not your favorite?" he asks and you just stare at him. Why was he asking that, of course he is your favorite. Who else could it be?
Not allowing you to give him any kind of answer, he presses his tumb to your lips pushing at your bottom lip until, you bought out your tongue to lick and suck at his finger, making him smile.
"Haha of course I am your favorite. Who else would indulge such a dirty boy like you?" he chuckles as he spits in your face making you close your eyes instinctively. "Surely not Yuuta. Yuuta didn't pick you up when you needed someone the most now did he?"
Opening your eyes you shoke your head as Gojo just watches his spit run down your cheek like tears before he whipes it out in your face, his fingers lingering over your curse marks.
"That's right Sensei did." he reminds you once again, that it was him that took you in. It's him who made you, who you are and he can take it all away if he desires.
The older tugs at your shirt "Take everything off."
Starring at him for a moment you unbuttoned your uniform, that Gojo had chosen for you. Like many other choices, Gojo did them all for you.
Stripping of the shirt, taking off the shoes, slipping of the pants, your reached for you boxers too, taking everything of for the man before you. You're just so willing to listen to everything he says.
Pushing you down against the table he hums looking at your exposed body, the room feeling a couple degrees too cold now fully exposed, yet some other parts of your body are burning.
His large hands presses against a bruise on your side watching whince in pain and he just smiles "You see (Y/n), I have nothing against Yuuta. I like him, he is a precious student just like you."
Tracing over the bruise from your training session with the other pupils Gojo just laughs "But I have an issue, if you're getting hurt because of Yuuta."
Fingers digging into your bruise, until he hears you whine "because you're mine, this body is mine and I don't like my property getting damaged."
His, his body, his property, those words seems to spiral in your mind. His, his his, it's something you wished for. You remember clearly, the day you ran to him needing his comfort, his guidance, his touch.
Another laugh escapes his lips as he stares you down "Did my pathetic boys cock just twitch from me digging into his wounds?"
His grip gets even harsher "Or is it because this wound is caused by Yuuta? It's because of me right?"
You didn't answer him, it's none of those two options right? He had made you strip down in classroom, you're just anticipating for something else right? You're not getting off to him hurting you like this right?
A smirk spreads across his face "This bruised is caused by Sensei yeah?" he traces over it slowly as it has taken an even darker colour than before and you looked at him with scared eyes.
You weren't sure when it took a turn into this direction, from wanting to be with him, needing him as figure to guide you through the dark, to now depending your whole existence on him.
"You look so exited." he smiles as he traces careful lines under your eyes "Did you miss me?" he presses against the bruise soflty just to remind me you again of the aching pain "You can't live without my touch can you?"
You're terrified to feel this way, even more terrified the way your cock twitches from feeling like this.
He gives you a look of pity "I've told you, you're mine." Knocking against your head with his finger knuckle "Your dumb brain hasn't understood yet hmm? But your body has, and it's so honest."
"Don't you like it when Sensei talks down on you?" he questioned as he cups your face "I'd call you my pretty boy, but that doesn't make your little cock hard now does it?"
"It only does when I call you a pathetic slut, who is needy of my attention." his voice growls and to your confusion your body does react to those words, supporting his statements.
His hand gripped your throat with an amused yet somewhat judgemental face, he squeezes your neck just tiny bit, until he can hear you choke "You like this too don't you? When I'm mean, when I hurt you?"
It's hard to deny, to shake your head, wanting to tell him no, when you can't speak and you're body giving a completely diffrent answer. A harsh slap to your face, has you feeling it in your lower area.
"Haha~" he smiles "Pitifully cute aren't you?"
"You love sensei so much don't you? Your body grew accustomed to Sensei touching you the way he likes it hmm?" he askes you questions for questions knowing well you couldn't protest against him.
"Remember when you used to whimper around so cutely? When I used to praise you?" the older beams, reminiscing of older times "Sensei is your first hmm? He took such good care of you didn't he?"
"Such good care of you and your body." Gojo hums, pinching and twisting your nipples until they're hard "I had fun."
"It's so honest just for me now." The soccerer sounds proud of himself, proud to have taken such a pure boys first with love and care, just to slowly drift of that road.
Binding you to him with promises and words of love.
You felt a lash like feeling on your body, caused by his infinity "stop..." you choked out and he tilts his head to the side "Stop? You know that doesn't work on me dummy."
"When has it ever?" he laughs as he traces over your curse marks once again "Besides why would you want me to stop?"
"You like being bruised and hurt by me, no?" he continued and you want refuse, tell him no, but all you're able to do is shake you're head at him until he decides to hold your face still forcing you to nod.
"Don't lie to me." he pulls down his blindfold to reveal the sky blue eyes you've fallen in love with "You wanted me to do this, don't you remember?"
"You're such a good boy. I love you so much (Y/n). You're so perfect, I promise I'll be gentle, just tap me when I need to stop okay?"
-
"(Y/n), can we try something? Ill take it slow."
The first time you tapped against his skin, asking him to stop, with tears running down your cheeks and he stops to kissi your marks "Don't worry baby, haha see I stopped." Yet you failed to notice his cock just growing harder in his pants from the way you're crying.
-
Cries and taps, rapid taps against his shoulders, that turned into slaps, you're voice breaking from telling him to stop, an activation of your curse until he halts, blood running down your lips, you failed to notice how your curse didn't effect him "Awww no don't cry, it's okay, it's okay. I won't hit you anymore, if you don't like it. I love you, you don't have to do these things, because I like them. Don't worry about me, I give you what you need. You don't seem to like the things I do, maybe we should stop here."
-
The older had stopped touching you from there on just smiling and waving when sees you, no hugs, no kisses, no praise, nothing comes from him after what had happened making you feel guilty. This is you're fault isn't it?
Gojo always indulged in yours needs, why couldn't you indulge in his.
So the next time you see him you stopped him in his tracks, taking his hands in yours, already felling special as he had let you through his infinity. Bringing his hand to your face, you slapped yourself, and if you could see his eyes widen underneath his mask.
"Hmm? What's that for little one?"
Tugging your neck piece down you looked at him "Hurt me. Love me."
"Remember??" he looks psychotic "you wished for me to do this, I'm indulging in your fantasy. You've placed this curse on yourself, you placed this curse on us."
Gojo never leaves himself unprotected from your curse speech.
The soccerer never lets himself be vulnerable, specially not such technique as yours that is just so easy to block out. You can scream and hurt your pretty throat all you want, he won't be having any of that.
Gojo wraps his hands around yours and bought it up to his cheek slapping himself "Hurt me. Love me"
"That's what you did. I had nothing to do with that." he chuckles "You did that all on your own. I didn't force you, you wanted to be mine and I made you mine. You have to hold responsibility you know?"
Bringing you down to your knees infront of him unzipping his own pants "Don't strain yourself, you don't have to to say anything. Sensei knows, he always knows best for you hmm?"
Pumping his own cock a couple times he forced it into your mouth "Now be good boy."
Hands gripping onto his tight as he just fucks your mouth to his content, just so he can hear you choke and see you cry.
He just can't help himself when his pretty boy looks so lewd sucking him off, like it's the only thing you're made for.
"Hmmm, fuck. Might as well just be my full-time cocksleeve, if you like getting bruised and hurt so much, I'll just have to do it." he chuckled as you felt another lash like feeling against your skin making you moan.
"Awww, such a painslut aren't you?" he smirks as he looks down on you to admire his mess, his hand in your hair forcing down more than you can take "Come on slut, you've done this often enough."
A groan escapes his lips as he pulls you off him allowing you to breath "stop, please...." your voice broken and hoarse and just smiles "Didn't I tell you already not to strain yourself? You're so funny trying to pull these things on me."
No matter what you say, no matter what you do with Gojo it has no use, until it's something he wants himself.
"Or are you just that much of a plain slut? Needing to damage yourself as much as possible?" he asks as you felt the cold sole of his shoes pressed against your cock.
"Pathetically cute." he beams when he sees you're all hard and leaking, just from the way he talks to you and the sole of his shoes pressing against your lenght.
"Oh sensei loves you so much." he grins as he places a stinging slap to your face that stings and burns "And I show it through the pain I cause, I know you need this."

Is it time to tear ANOTHER Dhar Mann video to shreds? YOU BET.
I've been sitting on this one for a bit because I wanted to make sure I talk about this tactfully. The subject of parents abandoning their disabled children is a very touchy one.
Parents abandoning their disabled children simply for being disabled is way too common. Like, I understand that not everyone has the resources to care for a disabled child (which is why you reach out for help, and why people like me, who work with disabled people, exist), but it doesn't mean you just walk out of their life. There are exceptions, like if you truly didn't want children or something like that, but just flat-out walking out of your kid's life BECAUSE they're disabled is fucked up.
I know someone personally whose biological mother abandoned her when she was born. Why? Because she's disabled. Physically, and mentally, to a point. I work with this woman on a daily basis. I don't really know WHY exactly her biological mother abandoned her, but I do know that her being disabled was part of it. It's sad. It doesn't affect her, thankfully. I'm happy that she's got her biological dad, her brother, and another maternal figure in her life, at least.
ANYWAYS. Before we get to the topic at hand, I need to put an obligatory trigger warning, like I do with EVERY Dhar Mann post:
This post will be talking about parents abandoning their disabled children simply for being disabled, treating disabilities like they're tragedies (in this case, we're talking about autism...again), divorce, and some SPICY ableist bullshit from an allistic (nonautistic) PIECE OF SHIT.
If any of this triggers you or makes you uncomfortable in any way, you don't have to read this post. This isn't worth putting yourself in a bad state mentally. I would never ask for any of you to put yourselves in that position all for a post. Put your mental health and well-being first. Consume media that sparks joy for you.
As far as my response goes, it's definitely more calm than normal. Funny....since this video is about autism spectrum disorder again. (Third time's the charm, huh, Dhar Mann? NOT.)
LET'S FUCKING GET IT.
The video starts off with these two parents (Gwen and Allen) in a psychologist's office. The psychologist tells the parents that their son (Chance) is autistic, and she tries to explain what autism is to the parents, but Allen cuts her off. Why? Because he teaches at a prestigious university, so he AUTOMATICALLY knows what autism is from that fact alone.
Um, excuse me? Just because you're a teacher at a prestigious university, it doesn't mean you're an expert in everything. It doesn't make you an expert in ASD or anything like that. Unless you SPECIALIZE in that area. Even then, shut the fuck up. The people who know about being autistic are AUTISTIC PEOPLE THEMSELVES! SHOCKER.
Hey, Dhar Mann! QUIT WITH THE VIDEOS ABOUT AUTISTIC LITTLE WHITE BOYS AND YOUNG WHITE AUTISTIC CISHET MEN! I'M SICK AND TIRED OF IT. It's annoying, ignorant, and it feels like you're doing this on purpose at this point to piss people off. If you're so uninformed about autism in women and girls, FUCKING ASK AUTISTIC WOMEN AND GIRLS! DO BETTER RESEARCH THAT DOESN'T INVOLVE AUTISM SPEAKS. The Autism Self Advocacy Network (ASAN) and the Autistic Women and Nonbinary People Network (AWN) are great organizations to go to for any kind of research on ASD in women and girls. STOP GOING OFF OF THE BRAINS OF AUTISTIC WHITE BOYS AND AUTISTIC WHITE MEN.
I don't feel I need to go too deep into the fact that autistic women, autistic girls, autistic nonbinary people, autistic BIPOC, autistic AAPI, autistic LGBT people, autistic teenagers, and autistic adults exist. Y'all already know.
Tumblr media
Gwen asks the psychologist if that means Chance isn't healthy. (I understand not knowing about autism, but don't treat it like it's a terminal illness. Please.) The psychologist tells her that Chance is fine, but he just learns differently and might need more support compared to his peers.
Yeah, autism can affect how you learn about certain things (limited and repetitive patterns), but there are other disabilities that can affect learning as well. Like how dyslexia can affect your ability to read, dyspraxia can affect your ability to do math, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) can affect your ability to focus or on impulse control. Autism affects how your brain is developed, it affects you socially, behaviorally, and how you communicate.
Allen is upset, says that he can't have a son "with a learning disability" (ASD is a neurological disability, not necessarily a learning disability), and treats Chance like he's stupid for being autistic. Gwen tells her husband that autism doesn't make you any less intelligent, WHICH IS SO FUCKING TRUE. ABSOLUTE FACTS. I was totally with her until she began that little monologue with "Just because a person HAS autism". SAY "JUST BECAUSE A PERSON'S AUTISTIC" INSTEAD! IT'S NOT HARD. PERSON FIRST LANGUAGE ISN'T WHAT EVERY DISABLED PERSON PREFERS. Allen says that "they could have another kid" and "put Chance up for adoption". Gwen obviously wasn't down with that. Allen gives his wife an ultimatum that it's either HIM or their son Chance. Gwen says that she can't choose between the two, but she will stand by her autistic son. Allen gets up and leaves the office, saying he wants a divorce.
Years pass by, Gwen is single and taking care of her autistic son Chance, and Allen has a new life with a ✨perfect son✨ (Samuel). He never mentions the son HE abandoned (Chance). He's completely forgotten about Gwen and Chance. (YOU OWE SO MUCH CHILD SUPPORT, ALLEN.)
Tumblr media
Hey, Allen, how much do you wanna bet that your ✨perfect son✨ Samuel is autistic too?
There's the SATs, they're announcing a winner, and guess who it is? IT'S OBVIOUSLY CHANCE, OF COURSE. He's got the highest score in the country, with Samuel in second place. Allen is PISSED.
Chance gives a speech about how his mom really helped him, he struggled with autism, how Allen LITERALLY ABANDONED HIM, and THE CROWD GOES FUCKING WILD. Samuel, instead of being a sore loser, APPLAUDS FOR CHANCE. Stay humble, Sam.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
My thoughts on the video? If you cannot tell by my tone throughout this post, IT WAS DOG SHIT. This video was insensitive to the true reality of parents abandoning their disabled children just because they're disabled. What do I expect from Dhar Mann at this point?
Here's my response to his video below. Don't worry, I will fully type out my response soon for anyone who cannot read the screenshots easily. It's a lot easier for me to do that on the desktop site than it is for me to do it on my phone.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
For anyone who can’t read my response, I’m typing it out for you. Like I said, it’s easier for me to type it out on the desktop site than it is for me to type it out on my phone. It’s a real royal pain in the ass. But because I’m trying to make my posts easier to read for people, I’m doing this anyway. /lighthearted
First, second, and third screenshots (broken up into paragraphs):
Hey, listen, I appreciate the message you’re trying to go for, but can you please stop putting autistic people into a box? Can you stop treating being autistic like it’s a tragedy? Not every single autistic person is a little white boy in elementary school who’s considered “wild and unruly” or “super quiet and makes no friends”, nor are they a young white cishet man who’s a super genius or is how Chris Chan was before she came out as trans. (For anyone who doesn’t know about Chris Chan, there are many documentaries people have made on YouTube, and I highly recommend Geno Samuel’s docuseries, if you’re really interested in learning about Chris Chan.)
Autistic women, girls, nonbinary people, BIPOC, APPI, LGBT people, teenagers, and adults all exist too.
It’s very apparent now that you get your resources from Autism $peaks, a hate group that spends the vast majority of their money on funding eugenics instead of helping autistic people like they claim, claims that only little white boys and young white cishet men are autistic and ignores all other autistic people who don’t fit that description, have no autistic people on their leader board or on any board for that matter, have members who have actually fantasized about k1lling their autistic children, treat autism like it’s a tragedy or a disease someone can catch (completely false), act like autism should be cured (there is no cure, and ABA therapy is a total shit show in itself), and treats autistic people like they’re broken and need to be fixed. Also, not every autistic person is a Super Genius(tm). That’s so demeaning to autistic people who aren’t seen as intelligent in any way. I’m autistic and seen as smart; however, there are subjects I’m stronger in than others.
If you can’t handle the possibility of having autistic children, or just disabled children in general, DON’T HAVE CHILDREN. If you can’t handle working with or alongside disabled people, including autistic people, maybe find a different profession. Even if you do that, you’ll never get away from disabled people. Disabled people aren’t a disease. We’re human beings just like neurotypical and able-bodied people.
Fourth and fifth screenshots (broken up into paragraphs):
I would highly suggest getting resources from reputable organizations for ASD, such as the Autism Self Advocacy Network (ASAN) and the Autistic Women and Nonbinary People Network (AWN). Talk to any autistic person who isn’t a little white boy or a young white cishet man.
Instead of using the puzzle piece, which is a symbol that many autistic people, myself included, are offended by (because of Autism $peaks and other organizations before them using it, plus it symbolizes that only autistic children exist and that we’re “missing a piece” like we’re broken), use the rainbow infinity sign (for all neurodivergent people) or the red and gold infinity sign (just for autistic people). Instead of “lighting it up blue”, light it up red or gold. Do both if you want.
I’m actually really sick and tired of seeing just autistic little white boys and young autistic white cishet men being represented in the media, and y’all manage to fuck that up too.
Before anyone mentions Sia’s movie “Music”, that’s also very poor representation of autistic girls. Besides, the actress who played the autistic girl isn’t even autistic. She MOCKED autistic people. I know she’s a kid, but that’s still super fucked up. I hope she’s able to turn that around.
If anyone would like to discuss this topic with me or ask any questions, feel free to. I’ll answer as best as I can. Thank you and have a good night.
Before I get attacked for mentioning Chris Chan in my response, I bring up Chris Chan because allistic people think that every autistic person is like her (especially before she came out as trans). That person is part of why I wasn't open about being autistic or talking about my diagnosis until this year. I didn't want to be grouped up with Chris Chan because I do have very similar interests to her, I've been seen as cringey for having said interests, and just the way Chris treated autistic people who were formerly diagnosed with A$p3rg3r$ $yndr0m3 (like I was) really made me feel even more alienated.
Also, S1a supports A$ (Autism $p3aks). She's not a very good person to support. Some of her music is good, but her as a person....no. Her movie "Music" was gross, from what I've read about it and seen pictures of.
If you've read this far, thank you so much!
