“You will deal with this?” asks Knives, the gravity of a hundred years of failing to rely on another weighing on his voice.
“—Yes. Trust us,” Livio and Razlo reply. There’s fire in those eyes, rising to meet Knives’ intensity without an ounce of hesitation left in that molten gold — like he has waited his entire life to be asked such a question, and to be free to give such an answer to someone. “We’ll clean up these two and get the plant back to the Andron facility. She’ll be fine. We’ll take care of her.”
“...Alright.”
He smiles. It’s returned in kind, toothy and lopsided and less than an inch from his face.
“Now, if you’ll excuse me,” says Nai, allowing a serene expression to overtake his features, “I’m going to pass out now.”

finally finished up a sketch page from the monster of a fic i’ve been working on since april… i am out here being delusional ❤️

#big gender rant ahead i just need to write down my thoughts#personal#so i think im a he/him trans lesbian??#i think ive been denying my feminine side for a long time now but middle school me was right. well. half right#idk why id built up some weird barrier in my mind about being trans and being a lesbian#but now im like more sure than ever#i still dont know if i could call myself a woman. and i thought i was so adamant about not using she/her again but it honestly?#doesn't bother me that much anymore. its not my preference but its not as soul crushing as it used to be#i have these weird subliminal gender rules for myself that ive been beating myself down with even though i#understand that theyre fake and dont hold anyone else to them. so why have a double standard? cant i have a fun gender?#ever since high school its been an uphill battle just letting myself live freely and having self confidence#i just turned 24. i dont have to be beholden to stupid hormonal teenage self loathing anymore#the world is a beautiful place and gender is just made up anyway. so why cant i be trans and butch? who cares??#i think i worded it well in my last personal post. ive been living a gender of convenience#but fuck that! i want the gender that makes sense to me! that makes me happy! its my life and i should live it how i want to!#...i still have some regrets about my top surgery. i wish i wasnt so weirdly flat chested now.#but hopefully the fat will redistribute eventually and itll look more natural as the years go on..#but i definitely dont regret going on T. i love my deep voice and my body hair#anyway if you've read this far thanks for listening to my mad ramblings#and dont forget you can have a fun gender too!

im glad that people r clowning on that detrans person who went viral on twitter for blaming trans people/hrt for his baldness and normal male genes, but i really hope this can at least wake up some transmasculine people, ESPECIALLY white transmasculine people.
many BIPOC transmasc people already have standards of whiteness imposed onto us, but we do not cry wolf when our genetics cause the male secondary characteristics that they do. many of us are hairy, many of us have thick and coarse hair, some of us get extremely deep voices, etc and etc. BIPOC transmascs already have to deal with the masculinization of our bodies even before HRT because many of us cannot achieve white standards of womanhood. it is just also incredibly ignorant to shed tears over normal secondary sex characteristics that everyone on HRT are informed about. Just because you have male pattern baldness, an adams apple, and a low voice doesn’t mean you suddenly lose your worth as human being. white transmascs who successfully performed white femininity and desperately still cling onto it or try to be a hairless pretty twink after HRT,,,PLEASE understand that you cannot control the way HRT reacts to your body. You cannot complain about not looking like a beautiful twink because you cannot control how your genetics and HRT will masculinize your body. Like holy fuck.
there is definitely a time and a space for detrans people to discuss their journeys. Many of them don’t regret HRT, many of them just simply realized they don’t need to be binary passing. But when we center detrans experiences as the reason why HRT needs to be stopped, why trans people are making “serious mistakes” to their bodies...yea I dont care how much you hate yourself. You do not need to make your insecurities everybody elses problem.
I genuinely hope this makes some white transmasc people realize that its okay to look like a normal dude. Some of us feel euphoric by the male pattern baldness. Some of us love our hairy arms and legs. Some of us love being men. Some of us love loving men. Some of us love having friendships with men. There is nothing wrong with being a man. The biological essentialism of vagina=good and penis=bad is not just a gender issue, it’s a race issue as well. These ideas are inherent to whiteness; when you say you distrust all men, when you say they all deserve to die...this means ALL men...Black men, queer men, transmen, Asian men, Latino men, Indigenous men, men who are disabled, men who are GNC, lesbians who are men, butches....
Having a caution toward men or male presenting people because of patriarchy, sexism, and misogyny? Fine. Hating them, vilifying them, viewing them as inherently predatory and evil? No. Thanks for making us feel like we’re all dangerous, that definitely does nothing to the male pysche, and thanks for conveying that anyone with a vagina is inherently good.
god. destroy white ideas of gender and sexuality already. you guys are just so damn annoying. we cannot get an ounce of solidarity because of you guys.

I'm imagining you in a lesbian bar. You walk in and heads turn, older dykes lock hungry stares into you as you walk and ones more your age faun over you and offer to buy you drinks.
You're overwhelmed - it's your first time at this place. You were nervous. You didn't even expect to get a number, let alone a veritable swarm of lesbians cooing over you, hitting on you, touching your shoulders and thighs, buying you drinks. They bombard you with prying questions:
"This your first time here, darling?"
"What kinda drink do you like?"
"Do you have a girlfriend, sweetie?"
"Your tits are fucking awesome, can I touch them?"
You try to catch everyone's words, but they're all over you, asking you all sorts of things. Before you realize, you're agreeing to offers and requests you didn't even here. One drink, then another, and another. One hand on your chest, then another, and another.
You hear a question you don't understand, but your fuzzy head nods, and you barely utter an affirmative. Next thing you know, strong butch hands are pulling your legs open and riding your skirt up in your seat. You try to say wait, but as you open your mouth, a pastel femme leans into view with her tongue out. Something's on her tongue - a small square of some kind. She grabs your face and kisses you deeply, wrestling with your tongue as it dissolves with both of your saliva, and keeps making out with you long after whatever that was has disappeared in your mouth.
The hands riding up your skirt have pulled your panties to the side and begun expertly rubbing you exactly where you need it most. You whimper into the pastel femmes mouth, and she responds by breaking the kiss and climbing on top of you. She pulls her skirt up and shows off her throbbing bulge, pressing it against your check and grinding gently, giggling.
Between those drinks and whatever just dissolved in your mouth, you feel weak, fuzzy, completely at the mercy of this crowd of strangers. You don't know if you want to resist or not, but either way, it doesn't feel like you're being given much choice.
There must be dozens of hands all over you. The bulge of this gorgeous femme is throbbing, and has grown to full mast, her cock now grinding on your forehead. She moans and presses it to your lips.
"Open wide, beautiful, come on... Mmh, that's it..."
You do as you're told and find yourself gagging and slobbering on this girl's cock within seconds. She's fucking your face like it's her job. Your drool is dripping down her balls, onto your tits, and is being licked up by other gorgeous women.
That butch's hands have really gone to work, and someone's tongue is fucking your asshole as well. You feel pairs of lips on each of your tits and more sucking on your fingers - there must be two girls for each hand. They're everywhere.
"What a pretty little thing... I wanna use her next!"
"Ugh, no way, I want to fuck her in the ass - she looks so fucking tight."
"Mmfh, she is fucking tight. I can barely fit my tongue inside. Maybe you should stretch her out for me."
"Ah, fucking c'mere."
An eager woman you can't see grabs you by your thighs and shoves her cock deep in your ass in a swift, brutal motion. Nothing about her movements makes you think she cares how much pain you're in. Her long nails dig into your skin, undoubtedly leaving scratches and making your squeal, but that squeal is muffled as the fast-fucking femme currently lodged in your throat holds your head against her pelvis. She moans and groans, her balls clenching, as she dumps a thick, warm load directly into your stomach. Tears run down your cheeks, but once the femme has finished cumming, she goes back to fucking your face like a toy.
"Ahh, such a tight toy!! You're so good at swallowing my loads, gorgeous. Let's see how many you can take!!"
She grips your head, bunching your hair up in her fists as she fucks your throat faster and faster.
"Oh my god, listen to those gags, that's so fucking hot..."
"It is, but I kinda wanna hear her scream..."
The anal lesbian drilling away at your ass is going almost as fsst as the one mounting your face, and the butch's hands have moved on to wrap around your neck and squeeze.
"Ohhh, fuck, your dick is bulging her throat, sweetie, I can feel it. Good toy, keep taking it deeper. You know you love it."
"Her fucking ass is so goddamn tight - I'm gonna cum! Ah, shit!! Nngh!!!"
The cock in your ass holds deep inside and twitches, throbbing, pulsing, gushing heavy, hot ropes inside you. The anal lesbian sighs and pulls out, her presence being immediately replaced by the one who was tongue fucking you earlier.
"Ah, that's better. Oh, fuck, look at that cum just ooze out... her ass is so fucking perfect. Maybe when she passes it, it'll be looser and we can fit two cocks in here."
You're out of breath, you're drunk, you're high, you've lost track of how many orgasms have been forced out of you. You start welcoming them.
Then, you fade out of consciousness. Who knows if they'll stop, who knows how much further they'll take this.
But your addled mind loves it, and if you woke up and there were twice as many of them going ten times as rough, you would invite it. You love the orgasms, you love the attention, and you love the praise.
A beautiful fuckpet for dykes.
i'm. um. i.
✨️🩷💖💞❣️💞💖🩷✨️
this made me moan out loud. multiple times.
i love you? im. i love you

I don't think I made enough of a point of how problematic it is to only like skinny people to the point of only dating, respecting, and rebloging them. I got mad and kept it mostly focused on the white aspect in my previous posts. (As in, only liking WHITE thin people and only rb white skinny femmes is weird as hell) Very sorry about that! I just felt the racism issue needed to be addressed first and then I missed the opportunity to also talk about body size as well because sometimes this goes hand in hand, let's be real.
If you only like butches and femmes when they are thin, especially only if they are thin and white, then maybe you don't like them.
Why do larger bodies make you uncomfortable? No matter if you have a tummy or not, if your thighs touch, your belly is large and prominent, or if you have rolls when standing, sitting, or existing, maybe you even have everything I listed at once but it's all beautiful and wonderful and natural. Someone's body shouldn't stop you from loving them. Someone's size shouldn't make you lose interest in them, that is just pathetic. Your love and respect for butches and femmes shouldn't depend on if they are thin or not.
ESPECIALLY for femmes, this is an issue I am seeing when trying to interact with some of the butches here. You either like us all, or you don't like any of us. You can't only like and respect people when they are thin (and white).
We all come in many different shapes and sizes, if you can only be attracted to those who are thin then you need to unpack that. Why do bodies that are not thin repulse you so much? (fatphobia is real please work on yourselves) Just because someone is fat it doesn't mean they are any less of a person. I am just as deserving of love and respect as my thinner femme sisters/siblings.
Personally as a femme, I love me some butch/stud tummy. Give me a butch with a big tummy, big arms, big legs and thighs, and I'm gonna be the happiest girl in the world. Big thighs so I can sit comfortably in their lap, big arms so I can hold onto them when we are walking together, a soft tummy that moves when they laugh and when they fuck into me. Like!!! Fat butches and fat studs, skinny, mid size, and any studs and any butches anywhere in between, you are wonderful! If you have stretch marks, scars, visible double chins, disabilities, acne, you are wonderful! regardless of your race or gender identity you are all wonderful and handsome and strong! thank you for existing. the lesbian community, especially within butch/femme dynamics is incredibly lucky to have you in it. You make me feel so safe and loved. Thank you
Femmes, femmes who are fat, femmes who have stretch marks, femmes who have big bellies, arms, and thighs. Femmes who have visible double chins, femmes who have big cheeks and fingers!! You are gorgeous to me. Femmes with stretch marks, acne, scars, disabilities, femmes who are fat, thin, mid size, or anywhere in between, regardless of your gender or race, you are all beautiful and wonderful and lesbian. There is no size requirement to be femme, it's a mindset. Thank you femmes for making the lesbian community so wonderful, especially within the butch/femme community. I love and appreciate you all 🩷
It's okay to have preferences, but it becomes an issue when your preferences are causing harm and stem from racism or fatphobia or anything else. When you are only respecting those you find attractive, when you are only holding space in your heart for those with smaller bodies, when you only value the opinions of those whose skin is pale, you are way less likely to be a safe space for others. You are less likely to care about the others in your community, less likely to treat those in larger bodies with respect and dignity. Society already treats fat people as something disgusting and something to be laughed at and looked down upon, and we don't need this in the lesbian community when this is supposed to be a space for us to exist freely in. The lesbian community is already pretty small, we don't need to bring even more hardship onto those in our community, those who are different than us deserve love and care too. We need to uplift and support each other, we are all we have at the end of the day. Let's make our space a place we can all sit comfortably in, regardless of how we physically look 🦇🖤

i've seen actually a few different people/users leave comments or tags about wanting to check out scavenger's reign after seeing my glowing praise of it, but also being very nervous to do so, because they're excited for a lesbian who looks like them (azi), but despite my gushing, i keep mentioning how the show is full of body horror, brutal deaths and characters having a bad time;
this is a very valid concern to have, given how a character like azi might be treated in another show, i was going in with tempered caution as well
Tumblr media
without spoiling too much, you can lay those worries down. the show treats her very well.
if you'd like some more elaboration, i've put it under this readmore!
azi is put into stomach-churningly dire "an alien is about to eat you/do a big big body horror/assimilate you" situations the least of any of the characters, and not even because she's being given a lack of stuff to do/experience in the plot!
i think we only see her get "afflicted" by something the way sam does once, and its very mild compared to everyone else (basically she gets a really bad itchy rash after successfully prying some weird would-be paralytic puffballs that get stuck to her) and even this one instance is quickly resolved by other fauna, in a very nice sequence of scenes that is clearly a healing/relaxing experience for her.
while she is put into danger and is trying to survive like everyone else, she gets tossed about in action setpieces she makes it through with minimal injury, more than enduring The Horrors;
she gets to have better luck because more of her narrative screentime is, by design, already dedicated to emotionally bonding with her robot buddy, levi, as they suddenly and rapidly attain self-awareness, and levi encourages her to find the beauty and harmony in this nightmarish nature documentary they got marooned in.
this helps her lighten up just in time, too, because she is, very understandably, stressed almost to her breaking point by the point the show starts, having one of the better crash landing sites of any of the survivors, and i bet the other survivors all wish they had a robot tagging along to help, but being stranded and lonely and trying to not lose hope of rescue. she misses her girlfriend, and is feeling increasingly vulnerable (negative) and afraid, especially when situations occur where she gets reminded she does need help. azi starts the series being kind of mean to levi, and having to balance her confusion, worry, and then awe of levi's transformation, and let herself accept she does need that help.
azi is not the gruff grr nothing phases me nothing hurts me the writers dont have to try giving me depth i'm just the badass butch who exists to fill the death quota later so a lighter/more fem character can survive;
her vulnerability reveals itself without much fuss, and is eventually tended to both by herself and others. we get flashbacks that show she was naturally introverted, but clearly wanting to overcome that in order to socialize and get closer to someone (girls...)
she goes through it for other reasons, but i promise you, the show treats her very well, i feel. she and levi are probably-nah, definitely, my favorite characters in it, and the show would not have blown me away the way it did without them here
SR has 3 main story threads; Azi and Levi, Sam and Ursula, Kamen and The Hollow. of the three, Azi and Levi's is the heart, and is the most romantic, in multiple senses of the term. i might right a breakdown of what i love most about all three threads? but yeah
now, if you still need the "okay but does she or her gf die" y/n:
.
.
.
.
azi and her girlfriend both survive the events of the show, and reunite in one piece! they may or may not throuple up with the robot.
i sure hope they do.
you can't tease us with scenes like this and Not
Tumblr media
OH: also, when a new antagonist shows up later in the form of a lethally pragmatic blonde woman named Kris who tries to boss azi around, i did get nervous, but Azi soured to max on her and spoke exactly what i hoped was the intent at the exact moment i felt it was critical to avoid me going "hrrmmm don't like these Implications" (the Instant azi detects blondie is trying to haze her into being a new teammate to be bossed around, azi immediately gets rightfully pissed and rejects it, and schemes to get the tagalong kid to see this also and on azi's side in the long run, which plays out and kris gets rapidly shuttled out of the plot and then pretty damn well humbled in the only blatant Sequel Hook present. i Appreciated that. Would have loved to love you Kris I love evil women but then you pulled That Stunt and now you can go wither alone in the corner

When i was almost entierly friendless and lost in myself, lesbians and trans women gave me their friendship in the form of kind words, support, defending me,making things for me they knew i'd love, fun hangouts and did and have done nothing but make me love myself in my transmasculine and nonbinary/bigender girlhood even when i don't know them and are the type of woman i relate the most to like i do my fellow black women and i'm now dating a trans woman who was my best friend for a long time and stuck by me through stick and thin and i love them-they are pre op and e and have specifically asked for they/them until they can start their transition-with my entire heart, soul and life because they were exactly the person, the kinda girl i could've used in my life as a bullied autistic tomboy that was getting fucked up without even knowing it and i deeply admire my lesbian friends femme and butch alike for their amazing gender expression and how beautiful their love is and they've said the same about me
Lesbians and transfems are not hateful. They're wonderful people who're full of so much love and just because with the exception of my girlfriend that love's not romantic that dosen't make it any less valuable and you 'interfighting is stupid,we're supposed to be having t4t sex!!!' niggas need to lower your borderning on sexual harrassing voices because you sound like creepy douchebags and like conservatives too when you rag on 'f*mboys',a tma slur to begin with, for being too feminine and kiddy and cringe or whatever rethoric you haven't unlearned. If a lesbian or a trans girl dosen't like you, there's a very high chance you did something to provoke them or him or her or xem or [insert the neopronoun that will piss you off the most here]and you might've done it on purpose. The patriarchy dosen't stop at cishets and it's worth noting that pretty much all my trans guy friends are somewhere on the nonbinary spectrum.Don't be talkin' bout lesbians and tgirls being too harsh on men and having 'male experiences to analyze' at all actually, because you're implying a lot that never applies
If you want to be as much of a man as cis men, then you be prepared for the fact that you're as capable as misogyny as them,ESPECIALLY if you're cis passing and i never will be because i'm so femme presenting and naturally adrogynous looking thanks to being black/white that i find my looks perfect for my gender and i'm still a man just as i am a woman.Lesbians don't have fuck men to be 'real allies' and you can't make them the bad guy for not wanting men if you get to the good guy for not wanting to be near girlhood at all and unless they wish to be identified as such by multigenderhood or another factor, trans women have every right to not want to be lumped in with men or lack of gender at all.Intersectionality is very important. In all aspects. Not just when it might benefit you.Be serious just silly goofy little guys, you haven't been funny since you started that shit and i'm going to strap you to a Looney Tunes car unless you stop telling lesbians to stop defining themselves by not loving men and bullying tgirls for loving being girls. Those are my best friends and my girlfriend and my friends' friends you're harrasing you ungrateful cunts

Today’s replies! Mostly related to some of the previously posted comics and drawings.
But starting with an ask that isn’t related to our stuff!
Anonymous asked:
Ryuichi, did you see Azul's new birthday card, Platinum Jacket?!
Yes! He looks great, especially the Groovy card qwq
To be honest, this year’s birthday set/theme isn’t the most exciting (I just really loved the broomquets), but Azul’s card is very good.
Anonymous asked:
"To the VDC group,
let me welcome you once more into the halls of our dorm. With your combined efforts and talents you will surely make our college shine at the VDC, and here at Ramshackle we're glad to be able to help you in any way we can. I must however bring to your attention some unseemly behaviour that... sorry, I can't keep this up anymore, so let's get to the point: please stop treating the dorm like some cheap themed love hotel.
I understand you all have your reasons, whether it's because you get frustrated thinking about your rival and need an outlet, or because you think sex will help you fix your broken marriage, or simply because you're too  much of a wimp to say no to Ace. I get that, but I can only tell Grim that this racket is the ghosts' fault so many times, and I really am not ready to give him the Talk... So please, have mercy...
The Prefect"
Do you think something like this might have happened?
(this ask and the next one are related to this comic)
LOL ANON this is exactly what would’ve happened, the only difference is that Vil is abstaining from sex until the whole thing is over, and if he can’t have sex, no one can. So Yuu shouldn’t even worry about confronting everyone about this, because Vil is going to do it for them lol Ace and Deuce specifically will get scolded for disrespecting the Prefect’s hospitality and acting so indecently.
Poor Deuce… he really can’t say no to Ace and now he’s getting scolded too 😔 So embarrassing.
Anonymous asked:
epel has to seduce the competition then
Let’s hope he absorbs all the unresolved sexual tension of his bandmates like a sponge and marinates in it until the day he sees Neige… wait, that wouldn’t work, it’ll just make Epel horny lol
Anonymous asked:
Your deuce look like a beautiful butch lesbian in that skirt and i love this so much. You're the only one who can get me to love how he looks fr fr
(this ask is related to this drawing)
Butch lesbian omg…
Aw come on Anon, it’s just Deuce being his adorable self, I can’t take credit for that~ He’s always cute!
Anonymous asked:
Idia in a short little skirt. Lilia probities him into it. Lilia will probably also randomly flip it up much to Idia’s horror.
If Lilia sees a skirt on a cute boy, he flips it. This is the rule. It’s his instinct, his nature, his philosophy.
Stay strong, Idia… His long-ass legs would look so nice if he wore a skirt. He really should. And then instantly get attacked by this pervy grandpa lol
Anonymous asked:
Have you and katsu ever heard of the new show "Hazbin Hotel"?  it's basically without spoiling anything a Musical Black comedy drama show that plays in Hell, and it has its dark moments. I figured you two might like it, so i would definitely recommend it.
We have heard of it! It’s pretty impossible to avoid right now lol, especially with all the jp artists suddenly getting into it and drawing a lot of amazing fanart. It’s very amusing to look at…
Thank you for recommending it to us, Anon! We’re not planning to watch it for now and aren’t really sure that it would click with us (if that makes sense), but we do like black comedy a lot + I’m glad the themes of the show made you think of us!

I'm new to the lesbian scene, I was jw what do butch and femme really mean? (Regarding your post yesterday)
Hi! I'm sorry I took a couple days to get to this, I've been wondering how to best, in the most complete way, address this, in the sense that I've answered this a few times and I keep adding more and more each time, it never seems like quite enough. I talked to my girlfriend, a fellow femme about this and she told me "I was thinking that you could surely write it just from your head and heart!" and she's right, I could, but to talk about these identities and pass only the subjectivity of my experiences and the bit of knowledge I have wouldn't do it justice. I will talk about it from those angles though, don't worry. I thought I could share bits and pieces of books that helped shape me into the femme I am today, I have mentioned those before, but I found myself with too many pieces, over 90, and I think that's too many for one post, so here and now I will promise to share those with you, not in this post, but in this blog and I believe sharing different experiences will help the general understanding. I am only one femme and my experience isn't universal, so we shall share the knowledge.
I have answered a similar ask before, here , hopefully the link works, if I miss anything, my butch/femme tag is also here, there I have a lot of resources there.
Butch and femme are complex and subjective identities (there are so many ways to be butch and femme , it's not one size fits all because everyone is a little different), and it's important to me that I don't diminish them into aesthetics, because I want people the understand that the center of butch and femme isn't looks.
Here's the center of these identities for me, what unifies us all, regardless of subjectivity, is that at the end of the day they are about community, about being there for each other, about taking care of each other, about finding safety in each other's arms when the world is still shitty towards you, about protecting one another in any way that you can and making sure they feel that sense of belonging in our community. Butch and femme are two sides of the same coin facing struggles and fighting to protect our counterparts however we need to.
In this case, I'll talk about these identities in lesbian communities.
Butch is authentic, transgressive, beautiful is its own ways, it's taking masculinity that for a long time was seen as only belonging to men and making it their home, their comfort, finding their true self there and giving it their very own meanings, much like femmes' femininity, their masculinity isn't one size fits all and it shows itself in different ways. Femme, for me, is taking femininity and making it your own, presenting yourself for others in your community, femme is strong, it's brave, it's fierce, it's demanding when we need it to be, it's making your voice heard for your sake and for others, because that's the important bit, it's all about community. Femme is being safety and community to butches and vice versa. Being femme is being proud. Femme is taking care of your community, it's making a home together where we all belong.
Butch and femme are about subversion and belonging.
It's not that without a butch I am not femme, or that we're necessarily attached, it's that their existence fosters my femmeness and brings it to its full potential, my place of belonging. Butches in general bring us something to contrast against while going both in the same direction.
The notion of that dynamic is important in its existence and application, regardless of romantic inclinations, the contrast, the mutual support and protection and uplifting, still should exist, being possible and necessary, while in a butch for butch or femme for femme, butch or femme4both relationship, etc.
Therefore those identities meet in their very own representation of lesbian gender and being there for each other.
Now I want to address a few misunderstandings I've seen about these identities*:
- you don't have to be tall to be a butch. There are no height restrictions in the butch identity, as far as I'm concerned. Short butches are still butches and beyond valid, your height doesn't determine how butch you are. The inverse is also true, femmes do not have to be short and petite, no height restrictions for us either.
- you don't have to be attracted to butches to be femme or to femmes to be butch, again not a requirement, but it's important to understand this is your community, regardless of romantic inclinations, the mutual support and protection and uplifting are deeply rooted in these identities, that is important.
- butch doesn't equal top/femme doesn't equal bottom. Butches do not have to be tops, butches do not have to be dominant, butches are not aggressive, at least none of the ones I know and have read about, butches don't have to have these characteristics attributed to "traditional"/stereotypical masculinity. These can be harmful stereotypes at times. Neither are femmes inherently submissive and agreeable to everything.
- in talking sexuality, stone butch and stone femme identities/dynamics/relationships are actually healthy and reciprocal, they're not selfish. And those boundaries should be respected. I have more about these in the butch/femme tag.
- femmes aren't always gender confirming. It is very frustrating for me that people still believe this, I'd say, more often than not, femmes are gender nonconforming, we can have complicated relationships with gender just like butches.
- you don't have to be physically strong to be butch. The butch identity isn't about your muscles. While I'm here talking about bodies, butches and femmes don't have to be white and thin, people of colour who have those identities are amazing, fat butches and femmes are such an important part of our community and history. Oh and disabled butches/femmes, you are so loved and valid.
In fact, when I talk about butch identity towards people of colour it reminds me of this piece from Persistence: All Ways Butch and Femme:
hopefully readable, though I think you have to click on them to do so
Tumblr media Tumblr media
- continuing, femme isn't hyper feminine all the time or even at all for some of us, butch isn't rough and tough and hyper masculine all the time or again, even at all. And that goes into what i said, those identities aren't looks, some femmes find comfort in hyper femininity, some femmes have a different version of their own femininity and that's okay, same goes for butches, there isn't a requirement of how masculine or feminine you have to be, masculinity and femininity are what you make of it, these concepts go through our experiences in life, our notions of self, etc.
- oh mind you, for some authors the idea of butch and therefore femme, in and of itself, is beyond the cisnormative standards. All of this to say, trans butches and femmes, you belong here. You're part of our history, to say that you don't is to ignore the importance and the work the trans community put in to get us here.
- butches can do whatever they want with their hair, wearing makeup doesn't make them less butch, not wearing makeup doesn't make femmes less femme, having short hair doesn't make femmes less femme, wearing clothes not traditionally considered feminine doesn't make you less femme.
At the end of the day each butch and femme are unique, you won't ever find one exactly like the other and that's what makes those identities beautiful.
*Of course I'm not covering all of them, there are just so many, but here's a few I've seen a lot and that were pointed out to me.
ID under keep reading.
ID: image 1 - text reading:
"While focusing on demonstrating butch and female masculinity's epistemological origins, many feminist theorists have interpreted butch as a way of "knowing, interpreting, and doing lesbian gender." Ontologically, these lesbian genders are seen as being "concerned with having an identity, and a kind of true self." Some understand it as both socially constructed "gender performance" and others as representing an essentialized heterosexual, biological, male identity that merely clones the referent. The expressions of one's gendered butch identity are intrinsically linked to culture and race. In Davis and Kennedy's classic Boots of Leather, Slippers of Gold: The History of a Lesbian Community, they describe "a new style of butch, a woman who dressed in working-class male clothes for as much of the time as she possibly could, and went to the bar every day, not just on weekends. She was also street wise and fought back physically when provoked by straight society or by other lesbians." The political significance of this emergence lies in the visibility lesbians gained in the 1940s and '50s as World War II reshaped the American landscape, changing women's roles in relationship to work, gender, and family. Butch was a site of resistance to the heteronormative limitations on women. It was a place to embrace one's identity in a public way that allowed for alignment between the public and private self, a way of claiming space with your very presence. There is a long-standing history of butch representations that have helped solidify the iconic image of today's butch. The icon of butch identity was fashioned through historical narratives, poetry, biography, and classic novels such as Radclyffe Hall's The Well of Loneliness, written in 1928 and long considered the most well-known lesbian novel, The Beebo Brinker Chronicles from Ann Bannon, which moved butch into mainstream consciousness in the 1950s, and Leslie Feinberg's Stone Butch Blues, set in the pre-Stonewall era of the 1960s, which solidified the archetype. This "butch raging bull, as Halberstam argues, is meant to "offer masculinity a new champion" drawing on the iconography of the white male boxer. These works created a narrative for what and how butch looks and feels that still holds significant cultural power today. The external signifiers - the class and racial location of these historical accounts and cultural references to bars and customs - locate butch identity. This locating of butchness within a specific culture, class, race, and ethnicity makes it difficult for the masculine of centre person of colour to enter into the narrative without their gender presentation, specifically their version of masculinity, being questioned. Attempts to disrupt this sense of "classical" butch continue to rely on representations and cultural location within whiteness and white notions of masculinity and femininity. As Halberstam points out, there is cultural value in marginalizing masculinities that divert from the master narrative. Even though Halberstam is speaking to heteronormative masculinity here, these diverting narratives have the potential to "dilute" the "authoritative power" of white butchness in the same way. As this narrative is pushed into the mainstream queer consciousness to construct butch identity, many of our experiences are left out. Supporting versions of masculinity that we enjoy and trust, many of these "heroic masculinities" depend absolutely on the subordination of alternative masculinities. This role of the dominant narrative being constructed and circulated while simultaneously preventing alternative narratives is an important factor in establishing fixed understandings of female masculinity and butch."
Image 2 - text reading:
“Halberstam goes on to address female masculinity's relation to whiteness and identifies it as a site of inquiry for "cultural studies" yet does not venture down the road of how the relationship to race critically alters female masculinity as a concept. The challenge in theorizing butch gender and identity is that to determine how it operates, you have to locate it within certain bodies and cultural and sexual practices. These various locations, when analyzed, become fixed and static through the work of the writer exploring their creation and development. A central argument in Female Masculinity is that masculinity "becomes legible as masculinity where and when it leaves the white male middle-class body." While a considerable amount of the analysis explores when and where the narrative departs from the male body, less attention is given to when and where it departs from whiteness. Unlike white female masculinity, female masculinity for womyn of colour is based on sites of power and systemic oppression - through masculinities of colour. The assumption that they can be resignified with equal subversive and revolutionary actions against white manhood is false. The ability to access masculinity pivots upon the ways in which gender intersects with race, and these gaps have been filled with many new ways of naming ourselves. In the last decade, the explosion of young masculine-of-centre womyn has created a demographic shift on the butch landscape, giving way to terms like "stud," "boi," "tom," and "macha" in California and the South, "dom" within the DC, Maryland, and Virginia region, and "aggressives," or "AGS" in New York. These identities represent a redefined female masculinity that is rooted in the experiences of womyn of colour and is more genderqueer than historical interpretations of butch. For some this raises the question: "What is happening to all of our butches?" I think this evolution highlights the fact that, for many of us who came of age ten or twenty years ago, and even called ourselves butches, we never felt fully rooted in that language and space. As a community, we have the opportunity to respond with an open heart to this evolution, ensuring that the legacy of butch as a social, political, and personal space continues to grow and thrive. But we must also concede its limitations. The title of this piece, "Masculine of Centre, Seeks Her Refined Femme," is a heading from the first dating profile posted using the term "masculine of centre." It speaks to both a historical legacy of butch-femme and a longing for a language different and new.”

Don't worry about that anon, friend.
I completely agree with you about your stance on "Lady whump." I mean, why have it just for that when "male whump", "trans whump", etc isn't a label? Granted, I get why people don't like seeing women hurt (and that's fair!) but I agree--we need more women in whump.
I will admit, I am guilty of whumping mostly the guys (I'm bi, male leaning) but I'm slowly getting into the women being whumpees, whumpers, the sort of thing. I have a story in the making where two lesbians are captured and hurt. I need to work on that more.
Just... wanted to say I support you, and know that I agree with you! I love whumping the guys, making them whumpers, etc but the women deserve the spotlight too in the whump world!
Look I fully admit I'm guilty of making more male characters than women, too! It gets a lot more engagement, I like the humiliation of masculinity, it becomes a habit.
For a while (and I've talked about this on my g/t blog), I didn't like dominant female characters despite having previously no problem with them before because I was processing a lot of trauma that happened during those few years. Having a dominant woman in the dynamic meant I could easily project myself onto her, and I wasn't ready to take those reins yet. I stuck to m/m because on one hand, I could view it through the lens of a dominant man, while at the same time still taking my perceived vengeance on another man, all while remaining a third party presence. Not involved, but processing.
And I'm happy to say I've done a lot of healing since then, especially reconnecting with my sexuality and unlearning shame! I adore the roles women can play in whump! Especially, especially very femme women because that's such a beautiful juxtaposition (no hate to my butch girlies I love y'all too I promise <3) of french tip manicures clawing someone's face or a knife in your gut because you were too busy ogling my tits.
I just wish we could have more of it without starting some moral high ground debate over hurting women or sexualizing the villainess. Let me have my fruity lil moment

Hi there, sweetie!! 💫❤️
I've seen you make random hcs about bakugan characters.
Can you do for Linus, Rafe and Paige? Pretty Please 💖🥺
AAAAAA Hello!!! <3 I will do my best but I haven’t watched thru season 4 so idk much ab Paige and Rafe ;-; so I’m sorry if I miss the mark completely w/ them lmfaooo
Linus:
Sexuality: tbh I could see him being ace but either pan or homoromantic, he needs a handsome prince to sweep him off his feet 😌
Gender headcanon: once again, I think Neathians have a different view of gender, but in terms of human gender hes probs a little more masculine leaning
A ship I have: ok hear me out,,, Sid- HEAR ME OUTTTT. I think the way they’re connected in loss fuels this ship mainly also I’m thinking a sort of beauty and the beast type thing with Linus and Sid omgggggg you guys LET ME COOK ;-; I actually kind of like him with Fabia too, mainly bc Zelda has converted me to the badass Princess and her most trusted knight agenda.
BROTP: honestly… rubanoid. I think once again through their losses they’re able to become very close partners together. I also like the idea of Elright being like someone he looks up to/a mentor figure
NOTP: AJAJSJSSH I honestly can’t think of anything just bc there’s so much of nothing for this character I’m willing to listen to anything
Random hc: I love the idea of him being from a small town/modest life (again, like Link) but he ends up being hand picked for knighthood. I’m sure he had to be amazed by the Neathian capital
General opinion: I feel similar to him the way I feel ab fabia,,, held back by the writing. I always felt like he’s just like the typical good knight character who they don’t really delve more into as a person, other than the backstory/moments of him and Neo. Both him and Fabia are characters I’ve had to force myself to see more into bc upon first and second viewing I just really did not care much for them. I’d say I have a bit more appreciation for them now tho
Rafe:
Sexuality hc: pan, wants a hot goth partner to step on him
Gender: what we would consider gender nonconforming for sureee
A ship I have: going off the goth thing what if him and Sellon 👀👀👀👀 (once again I know almost nothing ab these characters I’m just going solely based on first impression lmfao) also him and Linus could be cute 😳
BROTP: Marucho?? I was gonna say either him and Shun would get along well or they would butt heads idk
NOTP: Paige lmfao
A random hc: I’m honestly surprised he’s not related to Fabia in some way I could see him being a cousin or something
General opinion: he looks like a pathetic twink (very affectionate)
Paige:
Sexuality hc: BUTCH LESBIANNN WBK
Gender hc: definitely masc, a he/him lesbian for sure
A ship I have: hear me out,,, Paige and Julie would be cute 😳 Subterra coupleeee
BROTP: if Sid lived they would be besties for sure. I think she’d get along with Mason and Ren pretty well
NOTP: I have not seen her shipped with anyone honestly maybe Dan lmfao 💀
Random hc: Shes an oldest sibling, definitely comes from a big family that we’re probably hella traditional but she ended up being the cool lesbian sister
General opinion: I know almost nothing about her but I love her 10/10

The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood - A Deck Of Brilliant Cards [Review]
Tumblr media
The Cosmic Wheel Keeps On Spinning and it shows us a game of politics, sisterhood and ideas. In this game you draw cards and gaze into the future and past to craft a brighter path forward for yourself, your sisterhood, and maybe all of existence. However, there is more pressing matters, Fortuna has been exiled for 200 years and she has 800 years more to go and she can't take it anymore so she does a forbidden spell and calls fourth a Behemoth to help set her free. Get revenge, hug some friends and get to reading the cards.
This game is presented in a visual delight with some of the best sprite work I've ever seen, it is truly a beauty to behold. That beauty stays with it's writing as well, the content warnings it has are no joke and the content is unavoidable so please do read them for your own safety but I do think they are handled well, their brief, they give you an idea of the character and they add to the story in a way I think they were needed.
The gameplay is fairly simple you read people's fortunes picking from a limited set of choices based on what card you drew for what questions, you make cards, and in the last parts of the game you are doing a political worker placement game where you try to win an election. All these elements are simple and basic enough that they would work for a mobile game. It's extremally fun and easy to play.
Tumblr media
The world itself is delightful, it's the kind of thing you play and you wish is real, that you could ascend and become a space witch with your loved ones and live eternally. It gives the world real problems, flawed systems and let you shape your own opinions about it. You may not be able to fix all the problems with society and there are times where the game even outside of card readings will present you with having to choose something you might not agree with but the game lets you engage with it's world in big ways and make big decisions.
This game is pretty queer and engaged in queer reality, your character is from the 1960s and she's some flavor of queer, what that flavor is is up to you as far as I can tell, she reads to me as like Demisexual and a Lesbian but I think there is plenty of cases to be made for other sexualities. If you choose Romance as the option you want to size then you will get with a woman, the game only has women in it outside of the demon you summon all other men are off screen, mentioned to exist sometimes positively, something neutrally, sometimes negatively. The games queerness adds to the theme of Sisterhood both being queer in the relationships the women are looking for while having some women express desire in men that exist off screen. It also is queer in that you help a trans woman transition into her true self. She is definitively a woman and you will be helping her out and you can potentially have her at your side for the political campaign. The broader sense of sisterhood here and the different things relationships to womanhood and other women can mean are really strong here.
Politically this game ranges from like American Democrat to arguably anarchist positions. When setting up your policies and seeing the policies of others you'll get a range of politics to choose from but ultimately you do only have 4 choices in most sections for policy. That said policy isn't all there is to the politics of the world itself. The world is fairly nice as it is, far better than earth as it stands so the base line is good and the previously mentioned queerness is never a conflict. They live in an all women sisterhood and while people travel and there are men in other places, obviously queerness is the most common thing for witches. In fact even polyamory is totally normalized in this world and while you can't be polyamorous romance is not a focus and you stating desire in someone else does not in any negative way impact your romantic relationship that you can get into with a hot butch lesbian. Then the politics have one last layer which is the cards, what you choose from the cards readings can also show a range of politics, beliefs and more from you. Choosing the choice you think is best for you, for them or the world. These can all paint a political picture outside of the range of your political campaign although your choices are also more RNG dependent and also tied to your cards. Plus there was a non RNG point where I did have to make an argument I really did not want to make and it really did annoy me especially in retrospect when It didn't factor into the game at all. However, that was the only moment in the whole game I felt like that when it wasn't based on RNG from the cards.
Tumblr media
Now, I did not like the ending I got the first time I played this game through, some people will find that a somber ending, not getting what you wanted or paying the price you promised will be fitting but not I. So I played the game again, I speed ran through the game knowing the future now, in a way it felt very thematic, to know all the players, all the twists, all the turns and to use that to craft myself a perfect ending for everyone, a true happy utopia no matter what it too and I did it. A very small percent of people have managed to craft a truly happy ending but I am among them! I do think if I did not have the time of will to basically just rush through the game a second time I might have walked away with a worse impression of the game having disliked my ending and knowing I wouldn't have liked the other somber options either. However, it was really satisfying to make my ending even if it required a few additional hours of gameplay in which some of it I was more on auto pilot. The game is not super long and if you do the second run right after the first you won't need to reread a lot of what is going on only the choices you make differently.
Tumblr media
Overall, this game is really a delight and something special, I think anyone who wouldn't struggle with the themes in the content warnings will really gain something from this game and for me it was a 10 hour little adventure on my first run, with a lot of that being taking time to think between choices because every choice felt like it mattered even if I knew the choice maybe wouldn't ever come up in game the people felt so real I wanted the best possible futures for them. This game is really special and has such fantast design and visuals that it is probably worth buying just to stare at and then actually playing it is another even better experience. Check out this game!

WHAT IS GRUESOME GRRL?
Gruesome grrl is a queering and evolution of Riotgrrrl. Gruesome grrl is for the femmes that aren't usually accepted in femme spaces. This is for the femmes that due to their transness, their brashness, and their inability to compromise, exist on the edges of what 'woman' means. Some reject womanhood outright for an alternative nonbinary trans masculinity. Some see femininity as the absolute trap that it is. These are women who reject conventional femininity for something more butch, more futch and above all else transfeminine. I don't want this to be a binary punk movement. I want this to be something for the nasty nonbinary punks that have had femininity define their identity in some powerful and violent ways. This is for nasty gruesome grrls who have had their femininity denied. For the mascs and femmes who deny feminitiy outright for their own sanity. This isn't a movement just for cis women and they/thems, and womxn. this is a movement for transfems, transmasc, nonbinary freaks, trans androgynous art hoes, messy drag queens, sexy hermaphrodites, hard kink trans sex workers, the absolute nastiest femmes and mascs and enbies with shitty attitudes. This is something for the types of weirdos that are never platformed in cis lesbian spaces let alone trans lesbian spaces. Granted I'm just some angry trans sissy dyke with a chip on her shoulder known for starting shit, and pissing and whining with the best of them. But I want to make something, a movement with actual teeth.
Alright everyone let's be honest:
RIOTGRRRL ISN’T FUCKING WORKING
Katheleen hanna is a fucking liberal now. She’s not jumping up and down and calling out her rapist live in the middle of the college quad and calling it a song anymore. She's shown her capacity and it isn't really to progress feminism in any way that's radical anymore. Le tigre made a fucking hilary clinton song dude!? LIKE FUCK HILARY CLINTON!
Silvia Rivera's dead. pose is a great show but I wouldn't say finding a bunch of fishy black dolls to cosplay as the house labeija is a big countercultural shift. Play dress up with the clothes more radical women left in their closets before they were laid to rest. Make all the liberal art you want but that wont stop our genocide.
It's just more of the same when your a black transfem or a gruesome grrl in any regard you see two stories played out constantly:
You either live the beautiful conventional femme. She gets her liberal ideas displayed thanks to a system that wants to affirm all her middle of the road ideas. a patriarchy of creepazoid chasers loves controlling and acquiring there own fishy doll they can use to lash out at other femmes and all the girlies to fall in line.
Or you die the radical transfem. Your name in lights after fighting and screaming and fucking and sucking your way to get the movement to finally accept you, your enemies in the millions. other women who masculinize you and make you the aggressor. patriarchal men who want to acquire you and like it better when they can pay you to be at the height of their menagerie. And of course theres the cops who want you homeless and crazy or begging for freedom till they snuff you out like a light.
SO EITHER YOU LIVE TO BE HUNTER GODDAMN SCHAFER OR YOU DIE MARSHA P FUCKING JOHNSON.
I made my choice. Im dying marsha p but my run is gonna be historic and im gonna make sure every tranny remembers the Gruesome grrls. We’ll have the genderfucks dancing and fighting and moving and writing and drawing and singing and marching till there aint a single cop, or fucked up john or crazed lesbian terfy theyfab on the street. Either learn that the craziest trannies, the ones your afraid of, the one you make rumors about, the ones that are broke and barely surviving; are the ones you need to look out for or get the fuck off my block. The freakiest trannies have always led movements in the right direction and that's always been the case historically. so why in the throws of mass genocide, truscum infighting, theyfab memery, and terf videogame franchises is it impossible for me to find a single tranny that looks looks like me? Another femme or even a transmasc or enby that looks this black this fat this loud this punk this existentially mistreated and maligned? In the streets on twitter on tiktok on facebook on tumblr not a single tranny with the same look or attitude. I refuse to believe that im this isolated. With that being said whether you identify as a girl, a boy, a cat, an eldridge lovecraftian hellbeast, or all those things at the same time (i know i do) you are now officially a Gruesome grrl! A transfem led movement for transwomen, transmascs, cis women, she/theys of any kind really anyone who's been femme  in the past, present or future. I just want to hear your stories of femininity and how it affected you, defined you or even hurt you and how you're using those lessons to fight against a shitty conformist  patriarchal heteronormative society.
ITS GRRL NOT GRRRL THIS IS FOR THE BITCHES AND TRANNIES THAT DON'T GET THAT THIRD R! WHETHER YOUR BEING TOLD YOU DONT DESERVE THAT THIRD R OR YOU PLAINLY DON'T WANT IT THE GRUESOME GRRL TRANNIES WILL ALWAYS BE HERE FOR YOU!
Tumblr media
how do i join gruesome grrl?
hit me the fuck up its @gruesome_grrl on all platforms

anyone who seriously assigns gender/sexual identities to OTHER PEOPLE i need you to get off the internet. like plssss.
and i’m not talking about “hey! i identify as this and i have a similar expirence to you, have you ever considered that you might be *blank*?” and i’m also not talking about “wow that bearded muscly cisgender man is a beautiful woman! serve mother yas! (joking)” I do both of those things.
i’m talking about seriously misinterpreting someone’s identity and assigning a label to them that they don’t feel comfy with. i literally don’t have any strong opinions about queerness or queer discourse other than this. just stop. please lol.
as a butch girl it really hurts to hear “oh so you’re a trans man?” or getting they/them’d by people who know my pronouns because they cant deal with the fact that i identify as a girl. if you don’t know what someone identifies as, pls just ask. i get that we have a lot of preconceived notions about identity and that’s okay. but just be more conscious about how you stereotype and how you automatically assign identity. my straight freinds all dress gayer than my gay friends. i know very masculine and very feminine people who are non binary/genderqueer. i know lesbians who use every pronoun under the sun. sometimes i find certain men attractive cause they look dykey if i squint and that does not make me bi or pan or anything!! just stop assuming and assigning and let people be people.
ok psa over go get lit gaybos
