I think the reason why Rollo can't attend Alchemy Class is because of Grim since he never has a buddy before...✨

So I have this headcanon that for the 3 years this game existed without Grim Buddy/Alchemy Class, I'd just imagine theyre taking introductory class or some Prerequisites for Alchemy😂📖🐈‍⬛ since Yuu is from another world-- I love to think that TWST's science won't be the same as ours since its coupled with Magic-

THOUGH its really funny that its Rollo that's Grim's first Buddy,😆 the one who's probably had the least time to get to know Yuu and Grim‼️😂 rather than Ace Deuce or Malleus... KDJWKJDJDJS

Although I know Yuu and Grim actually attends Alchemy as shown in Leona's Lab Story though~~~~

My Yuu, Citrine would love this guy, she likes cleaning, perfect for the dilapidated mansion ‼️and he cleans the Bell and Gargoyles consistently right??? OKAYY new cleaner for Ramshackle 👌👌👌✨✨✨✨

I know we're just taking Rollo on a tour in NRC and not yk trapped in Ramshackle with us because anywhere in NRC is filled with magic,,,,, but its funny how he's calm with Yuu (when with everyone else he dislikes talking) because theyre the only Magicless person here ✨😂 The true Yuu stan.... omg? ✨✨‼️

I actually love that he duos with Grim. They stayed true to his character✅ and didn't force him to duo with any nrc student (he tried to kill them??? i dont see him using magic with them AT ALL??) since his whole character heavily states he FREAKING DESPISE MAGICIANS🔥🔥🔥 Or.... maybe I just want a real HATER from this series... (pls never change rollo) XD

I think the most memorable part he did was when he plunge us to the tunnel... like WOW FINALLY?? A TRUE EVIL IN A VILLAIN STORY AJDJJA (but i feel like OB Jamil who catapult us to the ends of a dimension is more evil though, I dont know how WE survived that 💀)

i just know Malleus would never forget that falling moment🤺 so upon hearing the news that he's grouped with Grim and consequently Yuu....

And next thing you know, Sebek and Silver are frequently visiting Ramshackle and Deuce and Epel stays a bit longer than usual!!!

Lilia is glad his children are finally hanging out with other people often!!! ✨ and Ace is just confused why Deuce and Epel are iffy about this visiting churchboy, isnt he just another strict "shorty" ???

(Rollo you might be 170+ cm in info but for me youre Riddle-height😭 it fits more✨👌)

My FNAF AU has been sorted out. In the sense that the timeline has been re-written enough that I can go back to drawing it..

Now the next comic in the AU is a re-write/re-draw of my old FNAF comic, Moon Malfunction. A few months ago though there were several time sensitive projects that came up and I needed to shelf Moon Malfunction 2.0 until they were done. Well now they're all done.. but Moon Malfunction is gonna take me some time to get around to..

For the past few months I've been in a really bad spot mentally and physically. And taking on my FNAF Recap/Repair project is just not something I feel I have the mental energy to do at the moment.. All it feels like is a one big pile of work. And all I wanna do I just draw what ever comes easily to me and focus on recovering..

Soooo for the time being,, my main FNAF AU might not see any updates for a bit.. Though I haven't forgotten about it and I do want to get back to it at some point soon. But for now I want to cut any work out of my relaxing/drawing time and just draw what ever I want. Which atm is pirate cookies-- <XDD

They're also great for grabbing something across the room while I stay in bed 😎😎

If I tried to explain my thought/design process it would just be a lot of word spaghetti that boils down to "uhhh... I just drew it.,. aandd if it dont look good.. draw it differently.. until it looks good-"

My advice would be to look on YouTube for character design tutorials or ask some other artists that have artwork similar to mine and see if they can help. :( Again, so sorry! I wish I could articulate my thoughts better 💔💔

As for the Colossal squid episode,, I'd have to go back and re-watch it to decide if I'll keep it for my AU or not..

Now if the crew did face a violent altercation like that, I imagine their #1 goal would to protect the Octopod. That's their home man! They would probably do what ever they could to get the octopod away from the situation. Like the Captain manually piloting it and some of the crew being sent out in gups to distract the squid. Stuff like that :0

I have never played persona so I wasn't sure if I would understand your failteacher comics but I just looked up the characters for a little bit of context and I'm 👀👀👀👀 at it now xD

Without being too spoiler-y, why would you say they'd have a messy relationship? (Besides the fact of Becky taking advantage of her client's loneliness)

HAHAHA yea i think the like dramatic irony enjoyment of knowing (even just roughly) what's going on with becky is very strong so good on you there (obviously toriumi has no idea what's going on with her and becky is doing her best to Handle It, but it contextualizes her behavior for Us...<3)

anyway, the rest of this very long post is just me analyzing a fictional situation i myself engineered, so if that sounds boring please dont click the Read More LMFAO <- cursed to put a lot of thought into Character Stuff

basically they have great potential for mess, which they're Currently keeping a lid on, but would exponentially increase with time. teehee.

as for what WILL happen, im not spoiling anything concrete of course… (winks at the Knowers who already know my Vision….

well, this AU isn't ever going to devolve into a "super destructive toxic nightmare" mess or anything, just to get our working definitions of 'mess' sorted out at the top of the post. not this time. atm (as of comic #3) it's shaping up more like a "this seems . inadvisable and absolutely Don't Try This At Home, but i guess it won't…kill you" mess (LMAO)

to assess their situation at present… there is one half who wants money (and can't ever make enough of it to satisfy her extortionists), and one half who wants intimacy (and is scared and unable to get it on her own). on its exterior face, it's simply a lonely person hiring a professional to keep them company, which is a fairly common thing n not rly super noteworthy; the parentheticals are what make things a bit uh thorny for these characters

the "problem" here is not the transaction itself; they're both willing to supply their half of the trade just fine, and neither party is doing anything wrong by engaging in it. but for these two specifically, there is also a mutual willingness to bend the rules of their transaction—because they're both cornered in some way, and desperate for what the other one is offering to trade

to elaborate on "rules", i mean, first and foremost, that their relationship is not "real"—these people Don't know each other personally and intimately, and they're Not Supposed To. their relationship should never be "real"; they're not friends! (or lovers, for that matter!) they're in a conditional exchange of money for services. right now, these characters are participating in and maintaining a kayfabe; they should operate under a tacit understanding that A) this is not real, B) they both fully know it's not real, and C) following the script is the comfortable way to get what they both want without causing undue risk to either party. creating and then maintaining a fake "reality" together is regulated by a contract between them, and it ends when their booked time ends (and not a minute over time!)

but to return to the earlier point, they're also both cornered and desperate, which drives them both to go beyond what might be considered appropriate. i think this is compelling; it's probably unnecessary of me to add this paragraph but i want to underline (just in case) that i don't think either of them is like "at fault" or w/e (there is no "villain" between them). they're showing Signs Of Mess that could snowball into something much more messy, but it's not something they're doing to hurt each other; they're making decisions based on skewed risk/reward estimations that might not be healthy, and could realistically have harmful consequences for both parties, but they're not, like, Evil (lol). two women getting wrapped up in each other's personal graveyard spirals…it's yuri, isn't it?

with that squared away, and putting it plainly;

toriumi should not be asking her to "break character" when the character itself is what she's paying for; this nudging of their little kayfabe, if indulged, could easily snowball and erode the professional boundaries between them (what she calls "distance" in #3). she is paying 'becky' to 'be here' (paying kawakami to conjure 'becky' into existence by pretending to be her), but she isn't really being mindful of the type of role that this necessarily demands of her in turn. the built-in emotional walls between them are there to protect both of them, but she doesn't fully respect them (despite instinctively sensing their protection in how "safe" becky feels to her). in the end, toriumi is bad at "staying in character" herself, and she can't help but try to root out the actual person behind the mask—despite the fact that no one wants this erosion to happen! possible dire consequences for her wallet aside, losing sight of the line between "transaction" and "investment" (pardon the pun) is a one-way ticket to a very messy place where one or both of them is likely to get hurt...

on the other end, and not helping the situation at all, kawakami identified toriumi as a soft target pretty much immediately, and is actively trying to elicit sympathy and endear herself to her (she is being quite choosy about what vulnerabilities she "lets slip" in #2) in order to make her keep booking and paying. of course some amount of "salesmanship" is part of the job—#grindset always be plugging smash that like button comment n subscribe—but the major difference here is that she's overtly attempting to foster in her client the exact kind of dependency/personal attachment she should be discouraging (for, frankly, both of their safety). like not only is she out fishing to get toriumi hook line and sinker on purpose, but it's also alarmingly reckless behavior on kawakami's part; there's a lack of regard for her own wellbeing involved here on top of it all. again, a messy place where someone, maybe everyone, gets hurt in the end

crucially though, as comic #3 finishes setting up, they're both willing to endure these shenanigans from the other half. at this stage, toriumi does realize that kawakami has her unilaterally wrapped around her finger, and nonetheless agrees that she'll call her again; while kawakami knows very well how this kayfabe is supposed to work, but is indulgent (even rewarding) towards toriumi for her clumsiness. that mutual willingness to keep playing this game would—if the AU continued on these tracks uninterrupted—probably compound until the situation they've made becomes super confusing and unclear for them emotionally...

of course "taking advantage" is sort of a loaded phrase colloquially… but i would say in many ways they are "taking advantage" of each other, yea. the "we both benefit, so it's okay" logic was already vaguely raised as justification in #3; if elaborated a bit with the above in mind, their situation is one where "even if they're both overstepping what is considered appropriate for their arrangement, they've also both decided the benefits outweigh the costs by a wide enough margin to make it worthwhile"

it's got the marks of a sort of symbiotic relationship... their individual motivations for being involved w each other are totally unrelated (cue the "hold on, does. kawakami even like women???" question), but they both feel they benefit enough towards their priority goals to be OK with the other one taking something "less valuable" from them (toriumi even calls out the “sales pitch” becky is doing in #2, but ultimately decides that’s fine because she’s willing to buy). i think each and every moving part here has great capacity to go "too far" and ruin things (perhaps even causing Severe damage in the collapse), but if the situation were to continue in this same rhythm, without that kind of dramatic change, i would say "they're both evaluating the scenario with their own personal goals in mind, and are extracting what they want from one another relatively(?) peacefully(??)". like it might ultimately be a selfish game but they're adults they'll figure it out probably idk its none of my business what they choose to get up to. wouldn't get into that type of shit myself though LOL

women are playing kind of dangerous games with each other but i forgive them because it's interesting to rotate in my mind...<3

another thorn to consider for their future bonding endeavors from here on ofc is that without being "cornered" the way they are, they would not be running this type of "risk math" in the first place. it's hard for either of them to fully back away at this point because they're already cornered in their personal lives; toriumi is incredibly isolated and lonely with a pretty insecure lifestyle even when she's NOT actively sawing through the branch she's sitting on, and kawakami famously MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE, NEEDS A LOT OF MONEY RIGHT NOW because she's being extorted by an unrelated third party. looking ahead it does kind of start to look like an ouroboros of "taking advantage of each other" bc it's hard for both of them to leave their individual situations; it's kind of like, if they weren't here with each other they'd be ... well, they'd be here—just with someone else...

they didn't put each other in this jam—it was unrelated personal circumstances and sheer coincidence that pushed them together—but now that they've committed to each other, it's hard to reverse back out, if that makes sense. i think that kind of thing is interesting too, because it makes me want to see them recognize this, connect, and help each other pull out of their Greater individual personal messes. you know? we can make it if we try... just the two of us... 😔

(unfortunately step 1 of that is ofc to make a genuine personal bond that isn't wrapped up in all this for-pay roleplay stuff. drat!)

tl;dr they're both simmering under high pressure and don't try this at home, but they do already have a sort of tacit agreement forming that this level of messy play is OK between them—as long as the rewards continue to outweigh the risks. at the end of the day, it's a delicate balance ultimately hinging on a money-for-services transaction, so if either of them stopped feeling like paying their half was worth it, it would rapidly come apart. i guess it's kinda like the ways you can tell if animals are genuinely beefing or just playing rough—are they willingly coming back? 💀 ...

no lmao where's that post thats like "this would be terrible if it was anyone else, but considering the people involved this is actually the best option" HRBHJDJG that's kind of how it feels. like if they're gonna be stuck with Somebody (and they would be), its probably good luck that they got Each Other. at least the narrative can sustain the balance of this one and maybe even solve it down the line. heart

to round this post off i would say if i had to nominate one of them, kawakami is probably the most "in control" atm—since she figured out very quickly that she was dealing with an easy mark and moved in to make her a regular customer (quite successfully i might add per the end of #3 lmaoo). i think that's been kinda fun, since in her SLink she's immediately on the back foot due to being unmasked by the inciting incident. we know she will lie and attempt to play to the listener's sympathy, so unleashing her with her Mask Still On has been fun 😭 for her part, toriumi is not only taken with the funny maid (& emotionally invested in her IRL situation to boot), but also very clumsily trying to obtain something she's scared to have, which makes her very impulsive/erratic in her rulebreaking compared to kawakami's much more intentional plays...

of course, my future plans will immediately jostle this entire dynamic into something else and make this whole post obsolete, but i don't wanna lay that out ahead of time. smiles.

Honey smirks, and pulls off their headphones. They get out of their chair and open the door to the hallway.

They then sit back down in their chair, yell "GUUYY" (which has him stumbling over himself because they never yell for him like that), and wait.

Guy rushes to Honey, but stops short of entering the room when Honey puts their hand out, "no, no, don't come in, I'm still streaming."

Guy puts a hand over his heart and let's out a breath, "holy shit, Honey, I thought you were being murdered or something." Then he laughs that adorable laugh of his because he's so precious.

Honey can't suppress the chuckle that bubbles up in their throat, "no, I'm fine. Chat just wanted me to ask you something."

Honey spared a quick glance at their monitor, biting their lip to try and hide the devilish smirk that was forming across their features.

Honey fails at their weak attempt to hide their smile, biting their tongue as a last ditch effort before giving way, "get out."

Guy laughs through his words, a more confused tone taking place as he repeats his last question, "what?"

Honey stands from their chair again, and leans against the open door. The way it opens inward perfectly covers Guy from view of the camera.

They lean in, a loving smile splaying their lips and lighting up their eyes as they grasp the collar of his shirt to pull him in.

Chat can't see how their faces are only inches apart, they can only hear how Guy let's out a sound of surprise.

Honey plants a chaste kiss on the corner of Guy's mouth and then loosens their grip on his collar in exchange for placing their hand flat on his chest.

Chat can only hear Honey repeat, "get out," when they gently shove Guy backwards so they can close the door again. Their face displays a cheeky grin as they stifle a soft laugh at the sound of a very flustered, and probably offended, Guy.

Then they sit back in their chair and turn their attention back to their stream.

WHAT THE ACTUALLY FRICK WAS THAT??

It's a win win for the both of them, because when Guy gets home after a day at work, all he wants is love and affection which he cannot get if his honey is streaming.

But there are times when the stream goes on longer than expected, or Guy gets off early.

Honey was playing Life is Strange when they heard the front door open. They paused for a moment, expecting to hear Guy's usual "Honey, I'm home" call to announce his presence.

But it didn't come.

They paused the game and lowered their headphones, confusion evident on their face as they turned in their chair slightly, listening to the sounds of Guy putting down his work bag and taking off his shoes.

When the noises stopped, Honey assumed Guy must've just had a long day. They decided they'd check on him after they wrapped up this stream.

A few minutes went by; Honey had nearly forgotten Guy was home, it was so quiet.

Honey left the room without a second thought, their feet leading them straight to where Guy had bundled himself up on the couch. The TV was on, playing the cartoon network channel for some reason, and the lights were off save for a table lamp.

Holding his phone in front of his face while he lay on his side, he turned to look at Honey when he heard their footsteps.

His hair was a mess, he had bags under his eyes, and his cheeks were flushed.

"Honeeyyy," he pouted, his voice coming out strained and scratchy.

Guy had come home sick.

They checked his temperature, got him a cold cloth, brought him medicine, and basically played nurse before finally returning to their stream.

They'd only been gone for 15 minutes.

But hey they did want to be in my dream so 🤨🤨 there u go ✨ also idk why I always pick BD first Gen 😭😭 it somehow a automatic pick for me dont ask-

In this dream I was in a McDonalds where I was about to order but then this lady cut in front of me. I didn’t want to cause any issues so I let her but then she turned around and yelled at me for cutting her in line and that I should be happy that I even let her be nice. I started to argue that I didn’t say shit and she was the one that cut in-line. The lady started to comment on how youngster don’t respect their elders and then I said “and you have a lot of audacity for a bitch who beings in the dried up sperm gremlin” she got her drink and open the lid and threw her drink at me. So naturally I grab a random cup and threw it right back at her. She started to melt all of a sudden and once she did a bunch of robots came and took the melted lady and told me that I needed to follow them but I was blindfolded. After a while I woke up to being in a weird cave with a bunch of people in a mask and robes- while looking around there was this one person who stood up revealed their face and it was my friend- I screamed wtf is they up for and they said that bc I exposed their secret melt human they must sacrifice me to the great gods- they started to grow a tail and turn green and slowly became a lizard person. I didn’t wanna be sacrificed so I tried to run but my friend caught me and drag me to this pit where they pushed me down and I pulled them down- we both started to fall I was screaming and so were they and we were almost to the end and I ask while in mid air why are they in this cult and their response was “I joined cult honkadonabonka to repay that time I ask a stripper to sniff my foot after I sent her my d-pic”

:( :( I had a lolita get mad at me recently. I called lolita fashion "Lolita coquette" in a fb group, and for whatever reason people came after me & made comments like 'pls dont rebrand lolita as coquette'. idk i'm sad.

Firstly, I'm sorry. I don't think people should be "mad" and with that, & I know fb can get insane with people doing anger emojis when they don't like what people gotta say. & if that's what you experienced or just really aggressive/rude responses. Then I'm sorry. But because I wasn't there, I don't know the context however I do wonder. Is it possible they might not be coming after "you" but could they be trying to educate you? Like Lolita no matter the style, all has this very similar silhouette's. There's also already a lot of pre-existing substyles. (Sweet, hime, country, classic, gothic, shiro... to name a couple.) Again if it was addressly in a way that as poor or just overly aggressive then I don't think that's good. But equally I do believe some people are just more firm/matter of fact/blunt. & given no context I don't know the case. But I also do know... lots of lolita's are protective because lolita is almost constantly trying to be co-cooped by someone/some community. So I can see why some people might be "annoyed". For personal opinion: I think when people say please don't mingle or try to rebrand fashion it's because they don't want to see there community trying to be co-ooped again by others. Like lolita itself has had a lot of issues online with different communities trying to come in and take over, between people not understanding lolita because they associate it with "the book", that TLC special about "living dolls" which pushed a lot of misunderstanding about lolita which some people had to push thru and be like "nawh" "thats tv. Not irl", to kinksters (sissy, cgl, abdl. *sighs*) rushing in trying to take over & even age regressors trying to co-ooped lolita, claiming its "baby style" cause they see sweet lolita with pink and other really cute motifs and try to "claim" it. The style itself has had a lot of people rush in so I can see why folks could be exhausted. This isn't an excuse but it is explaining why I can see discomfort or annoyance of others if someone comes in and starts going "Lolita coquette" "I coin this style lolita coquette!!" . Cause yeah that can be really uncomfortable, and lolita already has subtypes & I feel like most lolitas wanna follow with what the japanese community does. (as it's a j-fashion. ) & when I personally wore lolita, I felt more like I was "visiting" a style. I don't "owe" it. (I mean I owe the dresses I wore. But the fashion, no. I feel like a "visitor" if I make sense? Like if I wore historical clothes, I feel like I'm visiting that era. If I wear clothes from another country, I feel like I'm just a visitor who appreciates that fashion.) but it's also me practicing in an aspect of japanese culture. So I can see people wanting to respect that and wanting to take follow of what the japanese lolita's do. But maybe I'm overstepping or assuming others intentions. So I'm going to stick to saying this is "I" languge. xD I also don't really know were coquette came from, It seems to have popped up quickly/recently. But personally for me at this point it looks like spam & I don't intent this to be rude. But because there's no uniformed aesthetic or silhouette associated with it at this point, I don't see the personal interest. It just looks like y2k & glammed up "prep" clothes and hyper feminine and lots of pink, and being flirty which is fine. But none of it really screams lolita to me. Like, If I wore a cute cocktail dress, is that lolita? No. It's a cute cocktail dress. I can see maybe some accessories working maybe. But they'd need to be paired with a jsk or skirt properly. But yeah. >w< You can say stuff too like "My coord was inspired by..." rather then trying to "coin" a term I believe too. (idk phrases like "I coin!" can be a little iffy.)

Hey yumiiiii hope you're doing great! So yeah while I was reading Guerrilla I realised.. the whole skewed morals where they kill people who are criminals and have ways to evade law.. is kind of what happens in my fic Black Pirates (I swear I didn't abandon it but yeah it feels like I forgot about it 😃) and I was thinking I have to let you know that it's going to be similar going forward.. and stay in he clear yk cuz it was a coincidence.. but THEN I remembered.. ateez in my fic don't kill anybody they just .. raid and steal stuff from them to hand them over to people that have been wronged by them. So NOT EXACTLY THE SAME XD and I also realised that the chaps I released so far does mention that so phew I'm in the clear... but yeah 😭😭😭 I thought I should mention it 😭😭

Even tho later the plot curves into more complicated stuff (I have it planned but haven't written it 😃) but yeah it's the whole robinhood thing and taking law into their own hands cuz the criminals can evade law.

Again YOU'RE SO GOOD AT WRITING I always fangirled over it and will continue to do so :D

Also I plan to write a oneshot surrounding an idea I had in mind and you have written a few inspired fics so I think you'd be the best person to consult about it.. so will you be interested to proof read or help me figure out the plot of that some time

HELP I'm watching bleach thousand year blood war- the separation rn, and this captain guy is saying that its a 1-10:000 chance , but depending on the powers ichico gets in the special place, the soul society won't allow him to return to the human world

And when I heard this I'm like...

AND OF FUCKING COURSE ITS GONNA HAPPEN, WHY TELL US IN ADVANCE 😭 XD

Head Captain of Soul Society makes a personal trip to the human world to deliver tickets to Ichigo's friends to inform them Ichigo will not be returning home

Why would he give them tickets beforehand? Especially if he didn't think it would actually happen? He should have given them after the fact either way, because giving them tickets to visit a place that THEY DONT KNOW is currently AT WAR and in SHAMBLES is also an extremely stupid move that could get Ichigo's friends killed

If he reached Aizen & Starks level of power, it won't be enough for his badge to contain, and he will accidentally kill normal human souls by merely being around them because they will disintegrate in his presence

You could argue he lost his powers because Yhwach stole them so he was allowed back in the human world, however, Yhwach should have never been able to take his powers in the first place because Quincy cannot absorb hollow powers, as explained to us thoroughly throughout the manga.

Yhwach's body is sliced in half just like his father's (the previous soul king's) so if they couldn't fix the soul king's body to place it back, then they shouldn't have been able to do the same to Yhwach's, leaving the position of Soul King open, which we have been told the worlds will collapse without a king pin in place.

In one of the novels written by Kubo's editor, they retcon that the tickets given to Ichigo's friends were actually intended for them to go to the Soul Palace, because they were already planning for Ichigo to become the next Soul King (how?) But A. they seem to forget that normal humans would be crushed under the immense spirit power of the Soul Palace just as Rukia and Renji struggled to breathe as powerful shinigami. B. Giving Ichigo's friends tickets to see his chopped up corpse sealed away, unable to speak to them, makes no sense C. Also those tickets go to soul society, not the soul palace. They would have no idea that they are supposed to go see this "Shiba Lady" to get shot into a cannon into the sky. 7. If this plot line wasn't actually going to happen, then they just wasted the audience's time on a cop-out BLEACH is the definition of illogical

No worries, mate; I know being sick can knock it out of you. :) I do love Benton, it has to be said XD

1. how long have i known about them

I'd heard vaguelly about him on DW retrospectives but then I watched season 7 and thought 'he seems nice'. With each subsequent season, I adored him even more. Apparently I wasn't the only one; several hundred women in a factory up north wrote into the BBC demanding Benton be in more stories XD

10. my favorite moment with them in canon

It's a toss-up between Benton managing to stop Yates during the latter's brief indoctrination-into-eco-fascism, and Three telling Benton he makes one of the best coffees in the universe (I'm a sucker for the other characters being sweet to Benton, which is also why I love when Jo Grant refers to him as 'the lovely Sergeant Benton' in a letter she sends to UNIT after she leaves). But basically any moment where Benton is on-screen is my favourite moment. He's such a sweet bean.

14. what i liked about the way canon portrayed them

I love how it was originally a bit-part but the cast and crew liked John Levene so much he got to do more and more over time. I especially like how he goes from getting the short straw from Yates constantly (never quite forgave Yates for stealing Benton's sandwiches that time by pulling rank) to getting the last laugh. Not to mention how it's a canon fact that basically everyone likes him and knows him to be a fundamentally good person; the Doctor is suspicious of everyone during that dinosaur serial except Benton, because they knew Benton would never betray them. Even the Master respects how earnest and resourceful Benton is.

Also, love the little insights into his personal life, like how he takes his little sister to ballroom dancing lessons. If we're talking the novels, he also seems immune (like Dan Lewis) to attempts at mind control; the himbo power is strong in Benton!

15. what i dont like about the way canon portrayed them

I don't like how he ends his last appearance unconscious on the floor and the Fourth Doctor doesn't even bother to make sure he's okay. Bit of an unfair ending, in my opinion (one of the early reasons I had for not liking Four as much as I like Three and Five).

Also, don't like how the Brigadier clearly doesn't pay Benton enough; he has to deal with a lot of nonsense that is clearly well above his pay grade (not to mention the Brigadier being a jerk to him on several occasions).

Personally, I like the idea of Benton being involved in 'Mawdryn Undead'. Mainly because it would be nice for him to get a proper send-off, but also because (as neither of them were in the army anymore) he would have been able to tell the Brigadier to stop being a jerk. Bonus points if he also defends Tegan and Nyssa when the Brigadier was being a chauvinist to them (I know Tegan and Nyssa would have gotten along well with Benton, because that man CHUGS the respect women juice).

hello my sillies!! since there was a bit of interest in more ab the nonsense that is my take on godswap mianite AU i went and dug up some of the brainrot I wrote last year but never shared outside of a private discord server + new stuff that I've recently came up with :D Enjoy! ❤️

- Jordan was born to parents who are priests of Mianite and raised in the temple- and ultimately was meant to be Mia's champion, and was trained as such for the majority of his life. However, being around mianite for most of his life made him cynical of the god and his principles, and went he got older, he left to seek out the god's brother, pledging himself to Dianite and wanting to bring about chaos. Amused and flattered by the man's near blind loyalty, Dia makes Jordan his champion

- His primary weapon is a firework crossbow gifted to him by Dianite himself (has piercing 8, mending, quick charge and unbreaking V (and flame on it, for use with arrows)) Plays off the sparkly and the fact that this man is a goddamn amazing sharpshooter no matter what universe he's in

- Mianite instead finds his champion in Tom Syndicate, the formerly deceased son of lighthouse keepers in the realm- and is brought back to life by the god (Mia never explains why specifically Tom was chosen, is described to people as just a "godly omnipotence" kinda thing)

- Shortly after Jordan, Tom, and the priests (aka FyreUK, with Wag and Matt under Dia, K.Tom under Mia) arrive and start making a mess of the realm with their shenanigans, a pirate ship captained by a 4th priest named BruteAlmighty "Phil" and two people- a parrot shapeshifter by the name of Sonja OmgitsVoidparrot and Tucker Jeriicho (normal human... allegedly)

- Sonja and Tucker both grew up in Ianarea, and with Phil's arrival from the End, have been searching across the realm for their missing goddess, and their messages led them to the Spawn Island (which I wish was canonically named istg) where supposedly a ruins containing information is hiding (Jordan and Tom both claim they know where this is. they dont)

- When Sonja was younger she was named Ianite's champion at a ceremony in Ianarea and was gifted her shapeshifting abilities as a way to hide from forces of evil and get into places more secretly

- Idk how canonically Nadeshot/The Modesteps enter the realm in character but basically at some point a flying ship appears and from it drops Captain Engine Failure and Skipper Coppereyes, more Dianitees (probably there to mess with Jordan) because Dianite having the most members is hilarious to me

(I got an ask about EF so I'll elaborate on her dynamic with everyone in a separate post >:] But bottom line put two chaos makers and an explosives enthusiast (Copper) in the same room it never ends well xD)

- I'm still thinking on this but with FyreUK, their priestlyness was given to them as a group due to the presence of the shadows from the get-go. When the Darkness began encroaching, the gods all sought out their respective priests and gifted them with powers to protect their respective domains (Dianite took in two- one to look over his temple in the nether, one to keep in the overworld because. chaos agenda- that one's Wag) and guide their champions when they found them

- Wag takes Dec's place by this logic i guess, he lives by the nether portal and will be anyone's personal tour guide because he likes doin it. and yes he absolutely uses any excuse to mess with people to mess with people he can be a menace a lot if he wants to

- Also Dec is a Wizard, I haven't developed him yet (he also has no design dont worry about it) but yes. Mans took on Athar himself he's just built different

- Syndisparklez and Foxxsize agenda always love me a good enemies to friends to lovers kinda shit. most of it is Capsize/EF flirting horribly with Sonja (and her not sure how to reciprocate but wants to) and Tom and Jordan with their usual "i fucking hate you i wish you were dead (read: i want to kiss you so bad)"

One of the things that made me stop reading analyses in the Byler fandom is how people just tend to pick 'parallels' that they like while ignoring or dismissing other parallels that do not suit their takes. Especially the most/more obvious parallels that are put on the show. For example Byler being paralleled to other romantic ships show that byler is also romantic but apparently Mlvn being paralleled to Byler and other romantic ships don't count as a romantic parallel. Mike being paralleled to Vickie apparently isn't a parallel because it doesnt support the intended *parallel meaning*. They literally framed Vickie and Mike in the same way and gave them same lines while paralleling Vickie's ex and El, and Will/Robin.

People will analyze all Byler scenes back and forth to show how it's romantic meanwhile completely ignoring Mlvn's romantic moments on the show. Even when Byler itself literally parallels Mlvn..... And it happens all the time not just with parallels but with other stuff like framing/editing or set design clues.

And these are not even ''minuscule details'' or ''subext'' stuff that you have to analyse. They are like the most obvious parallels that the show put.

Dont get me wrong, i like finding clues and reading analyses but they just kinda feel extremely... disingenuous sometimes when you just pick stuff that you like while ignoring other stuff just bc it doesnt support your argument.

I don't understand the point of ignoring those parallels too, the existence of byler-minteven parallels is part of why I can't think Matrioska is not romantic, that and like also the framing of their scenes where they are framed with a romantic meaning very very often, especially in the first seasons but also in season 4 they have some moments framed as romantic too!

I didn't stop reading the theories because of that though, I hear people out many times even if I don't personally agree and I like seeing all the little details that maybe could be intentional... But I do stop reading the theories in the posts when they are phrased in a way that sounds pretentious to me or seems like they are saying that if you don't think that then you are stupid, but even in that case I just ignore it as long as there is no biphobic idea involved I'm fine with people ignoring what they want to ignore in the show... I just don't care xD

I think it's also a thing about a different interpretation of stuff, I tend to not be able to ignore the big picture of what I see all together, so stuff like the "boys only" thing or the drawing in El's room etc doesn't seem like a good enough reason to say Mike is gay to me I see it as sort of general queer coding for Mike like saying "from now on for you it's only one boy aka Will"

But I also see him as acting genuine with El and also liking kissing her a lot in s3 and other people watch that and are convinced he hates it because he moves her hands...so I just think it's all about the subject that is watching for some things and it can never be super objective because of that unless you are literally the writers

But you know, I still think they all should be allowed to ignore what they want tbh even if I think taking that into consideration gives the best fair judgement on the show if you try to be the most objective possible by looking at everything... but like I'm not here to police people about what they should talk about in the tag so I just skip it and continue my day lol I get annoyed if the arguments used are clearly born from biphobia, for the rest I don't care much tbh

in the end it's not that important if he's gay or bi or just queer the important thing is that he's happy and kissing Will Byers next season

But I definitely still think he's a messy bisexual until they confirm he's not, because that's what makes sense to me for now 🌈

I personally thought it was super funny as you would draw an ad and then they would draw one over yours and then you draw one over that and we could see the old ones in the background. My favorite part XD

And i can see it's okay and possible for people to not be into the same things but still respect each other. I see @anon-e-miss reblogged/responded to some of your stuff. And even though you dont like dom jazz and she doesnt like dom prowl, you are still both creators in the fandom and can coexist without being hateful or disrepectful or negative. Idk why some fans just take things so personally. I don't think the stuff against Swerve was super hateful. But i definitely felt like people were hateful and borderline if not outright shaming prowl fans. Because idw prowl is a prick/evil. But i'm not gonna cry or rage over it. I know my biases and opinions and i know others have their own thoughts. I'm not gonna freak out at people for not liking the same things i do.

I thought overall you were pretty lighthearted throughout your campaign. I hope the negativity fizzles out quickly.

definitely a very good point that i've noticed about us! we're both very passionate and solid in our preferences, we both have very strong arguments about it, but neither of us are wrong and we can respect that (even if i think dom prowl is 100% superior /lh /lh /lh /lh miss i respect u so much i don't mean it) it's fairly easy to stay in your lane and either distance yourself or opt to support despite differing views. it helps no one to be extremely rude hsdfsfs

tbh i can't really be talking because i tend to take things personally when it comes to prowl (this man can fit so much projection in him) so i think it IS okay to have and express massively different views, it's just how you approach it that matters and i understand my campaign probably wasn't the best approach (even if it was a little funny), but we do need to acknowledge when something is a joke. if you can't handle it, just step away from it. it's for fun, not war. (and i mean serious war. not our lighthearted war)

it's definitely a lot more freeing to be able to speak your hot takes in the dumbest fucking way possible and have people come back at you equally as silly. with the same happy energy. there's a lot of merit in it and i personally think it's a great and much safer way of debating >:3c

because prowl will always be the superior husband to swerve. smh. /j

Intro Post!

Hello! Some of you may know me from somewhere else, and to that (unless you're a super close friend of years now) I say nay! You do not!

I am a in my 20s concept art/writer hobbyist. I work a full 40 hours with week, sometimes with overtime (so if I'm MIA, that's why!). When I'm not at work though I thoroughly enjoy reading, writing, drawing, playing video games, and hanging out with my family/friends!

I've been getting some DMs about my requests so hopefully this will clear things up! Commissions are always more of a priority than requests, and people who Donate to my Ko-Fi are my second priority. Requests will be completed at my leisure.

Primary Requests: CLOSED

Primary requests are in my typical style and can range from concept art to simple illustrations. These requests are actually colored and finished to varying stages just depending on how I'm feeling. I try not to spend more than a week on a request but if I'm really vibing with it, I'll probably finish it

Sketch requests take me a max of 20 minutes and I usually use them as a means of warming up. So if you'd rather quick art of an OC or character instead of something that could take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months, this is the way to go! - I WILL NOT draw beastiality/Zoophilia - I WILL NOT draw Loli/Lolita or anything related to CP - I WILL NOT draw Furry NSFW. I have nothing against furries, furry NSFW just personally makes me uncomfortable and I do not like looking at it much less drawing it (this includes Ponies) - I WILL NOT draw anything for a franchise that is directed toward younger audiences, ie: anything rated PG or TV Y7 (PG-13 is Acceptable, DEPENDING ON THE FRANCHISE. ie: Marvel) - I WILL NOT draw Non/Dub Con, or anything that would cause someone to use the Dead Dove tag - I WILL NOT draw irl people in NSFW situations, ie Youtubers, Streamers, etc. Fictional Characters only IF A REQUEST SHOULD MAKE ME UNCOMORTABLE I fully reserve the right to Deny it, even if it is not on this list

If you do make an NSFW request, I will make a SFW version to post and send you the NSFW privately. I try to limit how much NSFW I share on this account

I can draw anything from landscapes to robots, humans to creatures. (Just cause I won't draw NSFW of furries or Ponies doesn't mean I won't do SFW art of them!) I fully enjoy testing the bounds of my artistic abilities and I invite people to help me challenge them!

altho i did listen to "social path" during its release (lisa my beloved im so happy they did a collab <3) today was the first time i watched the mv and rlly payed attention to the lyrics... and i began to realize how relatable this song felt to me. searching for the english translation all the more proved it. for an upbeat song, i seem to have grown an emotional attachment to it ^^;

i'll properly write it out into a story one day, but for now, here are the thoughts i've noted down as i listened to social path again and again. here, i write about my dream to eventually leave home and get to live my own life (originally, i was writing it out in 3rd person as i was planning to turn it into a skz x reader fic... but you'll see that it eventually got personal XD)

• "Gave up my youth for my future" lived a life predetermined for them by their parente, had to sacrifice many things they wanted, "gave up my youth" to follow along to what their parents told them, never experiencing much happy childhood memories

• "I just want to rise up stronger" after years of living their life like this they want to break free and become strong and independent - their own person

• Verse 1: they've left home, escaping the environment that once had them completely under control; now they're living on their own, only have themself to depend on. it's daunting but liberating at the same time. their family berates them for choosing to leave everything behind because they didn't want to live that way anymore and want to live their own way, but they think otherwise, that they've endured enough to suppress their desires and temptations to please them and that despite no longer wanting to go through it anymore, they've grown stronger because they were able to make the difficult decision to save themself and choose independence. their past experiences were painful, but enduring it has made them stronger, and they can only face forwards towards the future because there won't be a second time

• Prechorus: they know the path they've chosen is going to be a lonely one because everyone who used to love them has now turned away from them because of their decisions. they're in a new environment/situation where they only have themself to depend on, but they won't give up and fall after how far they've come, they know that their family wants them to give up and run back home to them. it's a bittersweet feeling, painful, but also hilarious that their family ever thought they'd want to live that life forever. their inner demons haunt them, but it's okay now, they're now reminders of why they chose this path.

• Chorus: you only live once, I'm ready to take on this path no matter what anyone else says. "This path was meant to be my dream," I've longed to finally be able to do this, despite all the hurt I've suffered for this, I don't regret my decision, so call me crazy, "down on this road, call it the social path"

• Verse 2: I know this hard decision is something that will haunt me for a long time. I've parted from people in my life, my family being the hardest to leave. I've seen many come and go, so even if I end up on my own, it'll be fine, I will fight for myself

• Bridge: there's no way back to the past to mend any old regrets, I dont want to go back to the past anyways, so I'll just keep moving forward and looking towards the present. Even if I get lost on the way, even if I take this journey all on my own, I'll keep going and reach my goal: to live the life I want.

thoughts? i might make a seperate skz (+ lisa 😳?) x reader in the end with a dystopian setting... but rn im still rlly in my angsty feels over this song so it probably wont be until a while XD nonetheless, i hope you like my interpretation of social path :)
